When Disaster and Tragedy Strike – Recovering From Life’s Disasters and Tragedies

Evil is a choice. It does not come from God. Even though evil can overcome us, it cannot overcome God.

Ecclesiastes 8:14 tells us that sometimes something evil happens on earth. Bad things can happen to good people…

When you face a major tragedy such as a shooting, tornado, earthquake, terrorist attack, or flood…are you anxious and fearful? Do you wonder if God really cares for you? Is He truly someone you can turn to when tragedy strikes…even in times of great personal crisis?

The answer is a solid “Yes!” God, the Creator of the universe, truly wants you to know Him. God wants us to rely on Him and experience His strength, love, holiness, compassion and help. Jesus says to all who are willing, “Come to Me all who are heavy burdened.” God tells us that He can be “our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.”

You might be facing a difficult situation right now. Whatever it may be, do not lose hope. There IS a path to true peace, which will enable you to deal with your anxiety and fears when disaster strikes. Ironically, the solution may not come from changing a particular situation you are facing. Rather, it may come from beginning a personal relationship with the God who created you. God is well-aware of what tragedy you are facing right now. But there are things that can help.

22 Stats That Prove That There Is Something Seriously Wrong With Young Men In America

We have raised an entire generation of young males that don’t know how to be men, and many of them feel completely lost. Sometimes they feel so lost that they “snap” in very destructive ways. Adam Lanza and James Holmes are two names that come to mind. Why is it that mass murderers are almost always young men? Why don’t young women behave the same way? Sadly, Adam Lanza and James Holmes are just the tip of the iceberg of a much larger problem in our society. Our young women vastly outperform our young men in almost every important statistical category. Young men are much more likely to perform poorly in school, they are much more likely to have disciplinary problems and they are much more likely to commit suicide. In the old days, our young men would gather in the streets or in the parks to play with one another after school, but today most of them are content to spend countless hours feeding their addictions to video games, movies and other forms of entertainment. When our young men grow up, many of them are extremely averse to taking on responsibility. They want to have lots of sex, but they aren’t interested in marriage.

Making a Killing: The Untold Story of Psychotropic Drugging – Full Movie

Get this out to all your friends and family. It’s long but a must see & truly informative.

“This video provides the facts about psychotropic drugs and the huge profits they create for the pharmaceutical industry. These drugs are not safe and have not been on the market long enough to provide sufficient long term studies regarding their effects. These drugs do cause addiction, however most “doctors” would call this dependence because you do not have to take an increasing dose over time. They are completely fine with you being addicted to the same amount of any given drug on a daily basis. Over half of the people that commit suicide in the United States are prescribed to psychotropic drugs. (Ex: Paxil (Paroxetine), Zoloft (Sertraline), Prozac, Wellbutrin (Bupropion), Effexor, Seroquil, Ultram (Tramadol), etc.)”

The London-based Think Tank Legatum Institute recently offered empirical evidence of what many Americans have been thinking lately. Our national well-being is slipping.

As a result, the Institute ranked the United States 12th out of 142 countries on its 2012 Prosperity Index, putting the country outside the top ten for the first time.

Is America Becoming a Pagan Kingdom?

It must be some kind of joke to suggest the United States of America is turning resolutely towards paganism, the antithesis of Christianity—correct? Sadly, this is exactly what appears to be quickly happening to this most Christian of all nations in terms of origin and practice. We see this in our views of government, family, economics, freedom, law and especially religion. We are now presented with a kind modern homo paganus, a modernized version of ancient man. Paganism is defined as:

Explaining evil

As much as humans have tried for millennia to prevent evil acts, we have not succeeded. In the modern era, Woodrow Wilson believed his League of Nations would usher in peace on Earth, if not goodwill to men. The United Nations followed that aborted experiment. The U.N. has been equally unsuccessful in preventing the slaughter of innocents and other evil acts.
