Robison continues his assault upon the Protestant Reformation. He played the pope’s appeal for unity on his TV program yesterday, which also featured fellow apostate Tony Palmer.
Apprising Ministries brings you the video evidence of what Robison said to Francis following the pope’s message.
A. Repentance to life is a saving grace, (Acts 11:18) whereby a sinner, out of a true sense of his sins, (Acts 2:37) and apprehension of the mercy of God in Christ, (Joel 2:13) does with grief and hatred of his sin turn from it to God, (Jeremiah 31:18,19) with full purpose to strive after new obedience. Columnist John Bisagno calls on churches to revive Gospel preaching — including the truth about sin and judgment and a call to trust Jesus as Lord and Savior.
HOUSTON (BP) — Missiologists say the church may become unable to fulfill the Great Commission within 12 years. Hundreds of unfunded missionaries wait in Richmond. Pastors are quitting. Churches are closing. Islam is the fastest growing religion in America. Baptisms have spiraled downward for 14 years in a row. Our children are shot down in grade school. Gangs are the new family. Homosexuality is celebrated. Politicians are scandalized. Most marriages end in divorce, while more young adults choose to cohabitate. Terrorism threatens.
For evangelical charismaniacs like James Robison, Rick Warren, and Beth Moore the answer to that question is, yes, it is.
Apprising Ministries fills you in and reminds you that the chasm fixed between Protestantism and Roman Catholicism concerns the very Gospel of Jesus Christ itself.
In a small town in New Jersey even. Apprising Ministries takes a look at Jakes’ latest fleecing of the flock.
The marriage rate in the United States has fallen to the lowest level ever recorded. So why is this happening? Well, the truth is that there are a lot of reasons why so many young people are choosing not to get married today. One big reason is money. Young adults in the U.S. are really struggling to find good jobs, and many are hesitant to take a big step like marriage without achieving a certain level of financial security first. And as you will see below, many young adults (especially women) do not even want to date someone that is not employed. In this harsh economic environment, money makes a big difference in the world of romance. Another big reason for the decline of marriage in America is a seismic shift in cultural attitudes. Americans (especially young people) do not place the same kind of importance on marriage and having children that they once did. Instead, more Americans are choosing to “move in together” than ever before. But if the percentage of Americans that choose to get married continues to decline, what is that going to mean for our future, and what is our country going to look like moving forward? (Read More….)
…. Professor Martin Gilens at Princeton University and Professor Benjamin Page of Northwestern University have examined American governance and have concluded that the US is an oligarchy ruled by powerful rich private interest groups and that the US government has only a superficial resemblance to a democracy….
Moments ago the Fed reported that consumer credit number for March: at $17.5 billion, it not only blew out the expectation of a $15.5 billion increase (although when one adds last month’s $3.5 billion downward revision to $13.0 billion the two month total actually missed), but was the highest monthly increase since February 2013. That’s the good news.
The bad news was once again in the composition: of this $17.5 billion $16.4 billion was non-revolving debt, or about 94% of total. The “good”, or revolving, credit card debt? Only $1.1 billion.
Further, recall that traditionally when measuring a consumer’s confidence in the economy, and their ability to grow their income, the best proxy is a simple one – their credit card. Unfortunately, in the New Normal that is not the case, and as the chart below shows, revolving credit has barely budged from its post-Lehman lows and is still about 20% away from its previous all time high.
THE weather is preparing to go wild, and will wreak havoc and death around the globe later this year. An El Niño, a splurge of warm water in the Pacific Ocean, is coming. It will unleash floods in the Americas, while South-East Asia and Australia face drought. Yet little is being done to address these consequences.
In her latest article CRN contributing writer Marsha West answers a critical question for this time in which we now live.
A few weeks ago I set out on a series of articles through which I am scanning the history of the church—from its earliest days all the way to the present time—to examine some of Christianity’s most notable false teachers and to examine the false doctrine each of them represents. Along the way we have visited such figures as Joseph Smith (Mormonism), Ellen G. White (Adventism), Norman Vincent Peale (Positive Thinking) and Benny Hinn (Faith Healing). Today we turn to a man who pastors a mega-church, whose sermons are a staple on TBN, and who has written a long list of bestselling books.
In his recent Blog Essay, “‘I Feel Super Great About Having an Abortion’ — The Culture of Death Goes Viral,” Dr. R. Albert Mohler, Jr. comments on the the viral video made by Emily Letts who filmed herself having an abortion. Ms Letts indicates that her purpose was to show “a positive abortion story” so that women don’t have “pressure themselves to feel bad about [their abortion].” Dr. Mohler comments,
“Our post-Christian society has been working hard for well over a century to bury guilt in the cultural backyard and deny that guilt can be morally significant. In the wake of Sigmund Freud and the therapeutic revolution, the modern secular worldview demands that guilt be understood as the lingering residue of the Christian conscience, an experience merely forced upon us by a society that imposes oppressive moral judgments. It is to be overcome and denied, never heard.
Help for the hurting versus lying signs and wonders!
If you or your family members have ever been hurt by false teachers at counterfeit revivals (Toronto, Lakeland, Holy Trinity Brompton, Pensacola, Fresh Fire, Bethel Church, Morning Star Ministries, IHOP, Healing Rooms, etc.), this audio message may help to bring some clarity on what happened to you/them. This is one of my more soft-spoken audio messages whereby I help educate people on escaping and/or avoiding the confusion and heartache that false teachers produce. The first 30 minutes (various Scriptures) is all preface for what I discuss in the second 30 minutes.
