Once again the Islamic State has shown just how evil and barbaric it truly is, and this time it is the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan that is in the crosshairs.

ISIS jihadists have burned alive the Jordanian fighter pilot it was holding captive. Today they released a 22 minute video of this savage act for the world to see.

Jordan’s King Abdullah II — denounced as “an ally of the crusaders” by ISIS terrorists in the video — was in Washington on Tuesday for several days of meetings with White House and Congressional leaders. He is now cutting his visit short to return to Amman to manage the crisis. But before he leaves, at 6pm eastern, the King will meet with President Obama to discuss the crisis and how he plans to respond.

Perseverance: Three Impossibilities

The Reformed Reader

Kept for Jesus: What the New Testament Really Teaches about Assurance of Salvation and Eternal Security I’ve not ready anything by Sam Storms before, but the title/topic of this book got my attention: Kept for Jesus: What the New Testament Really Teaches about Assurance of Salvation and Eternal Security.  It’s a Crossway title, so I’m pretty sure it’s a conservative evangelical exposition of the great truth of Scripture that God preserves his elect (perseverance of the saints).  I’ve not yet finished it, so I can’t say much about it, but I did appreciate the “three impossibilities” Storms listed from John 6.

1) Jesus says it is morally and spiritually impossible for a person to come to Christ apart from the ‘drawing’ of that person by God the Father.

2) Jesus says it is impossible for someone whom the Father draws not to come to him.  He says in verse 37, “All that the Father gives me will come to me.’  In other words, just as…

Barack Obama Says That What America Really Needs Is Lots More Debt

When it comes to taking a chainsaw to the future of America, nobody seems more eager than Barack Obama. Despite the fact that the U.S. national debt is on pace to approximately double during his eight years in the White House, he has just proposed a budget that would take government spending to crazy new heights. When Barack Obama took the oath of office, the U.S. national debt was 10.6 trillion dollars. Today, it has surpassed the 18 trillion dollar mark. And even though we are being told that “deficits are going down”, the truth is that the U.S. national debt increased by more than a trillion dollars in fiscal 2014. But that isn’t good enough for Obama. He says that we need to come out of this period of “mindless austerity” and steal money from our children and our grandchildren even faster. In addition, Obama wants to raise taxes again. His budget calls for 2 trillion dollars in tax increases over the next decade. He always touts these tax increases as “tax hikes on the rich”, but somehow they almost always seem to end up hitting the middle class too. But whether or not Congress ever adopts Obama’s new budget is not really the issue. The reality of the matter is that the “tax and spend Democrats” and the “tax and spend Republicans” are both responsible for getting us into this mess. Future generations of Americans are already facing the largest mountain of debt in the history of the planet, and both parties want to make this mountain of debt even higher. The only disagreement is about how fast it should happen. It is a national disgrace, but most Americans have come to accept this as “normal”. If our children and our grandchildren get the opportunity, they will curse us for what we have done to them. (Read More….)

“Every consideration that can influence the human mind, such as honor, oaths, reputation, conscience, the love of country, and family affections and attachments, afford security for their fidelity.” –John Jay, Federalist No. 64, 1788

Obama Uses Pen to Fight Rising Seas

Upon securing the Democrat presidential nomination in 2008, Barack Obama declared that future generations would mark the occasion as “the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.” Now, the president has signed an executive order dictating that every federal project must now take into account the flooding that would come about due to global warming. This order was inevitable after the Senate’s vote that showed all but one senator believed climate change is happening — although not necessarily man-made. Jerry Howard, CEO of the National Association of Home Builders, warned that “any reforms must preserve the strong partnership between state and local governments so that they, not the federal government, retain primary authority over land use decisions.” But Obama doesn’t care about federalism. He’ll take this executive order to Paris later this year for the UN meeting to craft a treaty on climate change as further evidence that he, Barack Obama, can stop the rising tide. More…

EPA Cozies Up With Vatican on Climate Change

The Obama administration appealed to a higher power this week when a delegation from the Environmental Protection Agency traveled to Vatican City to meet with members of the Holy See and establish a mutual stance on climate change. Pope Francis has been somewhat liberal in his comments on poverty and culture, and now the EPA sees an opportunity to score political points with its crusade against global warming. The National Catholic Reporter writes that, before the visit, EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy said, “I want [the pope] to know that the president is aligned with him on these issues [of climate change] and that we are taking action in the United States. … One of the challenges that I think we face in the U.S. is that climate change is very often viewed as a political issue. … I think we need to get this out of the political arena and get it back to the arena we work most effectively on: What’s right for our kids, for our families, for public health, and what solutions do we bring to the table that are going to address those?” If nothing else, this illustrates that, in the eyes of McCarthy and her fellow warmists, climate change is not a question of policy; it’s one of religion. White House Doesn’t Admit Crusade Against Heretics

While the jihadists bitterly cling to their bombs and religion, the White House continues its holy war to wipe out Islamic heretics. Barack Obama declared that the War on Terror is not a war against religion — not one he recognizes at least. “I think that the way to understand this is there is an element growing out of Muslim communities in certain parts of the world that have perverted the religion, have embraced a nihilistic, violent, almost medieval interpretation of Islam,” he pontificated. “And they are doing damage in a lot of countries around the world.” Yet the militant Islamists themselves are not nihilistic about their faith. Richard Reid, who is sitting out a lifetime prison sentence, tried to blow up American Airlines Flight 63 in December 2001, but his shoe bomb wouldn’t light. Recently, he wrote from prison that he has “some tactical regrets” over the dud bomb. “However,” he continued, “at the same time I also believe that it wasn’t supposed to happen, not because it was displeasing to God … rather because it was not either my time to die nor that of those on the plane with me, and he had other plans for me which include my staying in prison and other matters which I may not be aware of as of yet.” But remember: Reid’s attack has nothing to do with Islam.

Obama Says to Keep Terrorism ‘In Perspective’

The Islamic State’s unfettered expansion in the Middle East has all but vanished, at least for now. Unfortunately, the White House takes this to mean victory is commensurate with a geographic stalemate. By Barack Obama’s logic, an acquiescent foreign policy is justified by self-convincingly belittling our enemies to a nominal threat. “What I do insist on is we maintain a proper perspective and that we do not provide a victory to these terrorist networks by over-inflating their importance and suggesting in some fashion that they are an existential threat to the United States or the world order,” the president told CNN’s serial plagiarist Fareed Zakaria. No doubt al-Qaida operatives are nodding in agreement. Obama explained that keeping terrorism in a proper perspective “means we don’t approach this with a strategy of sending out occupying armies and playing Whac-a-Mole wherever a terrorist group appears because that drains our economic strength and it puts enormous burdens on our military. What’s required is a surgical, precise response to a very specific problem.” The wildfire-like spread of jihadi fundamentalism demonstrates exactly why all radical Islamists pose an existential threat, regardless of size. ISIL may represent the early onset of a small, albeit vicious, cancer, but that doesn’t mean the remedy is letting it take its course. Because by the time it matures, it’s too little, too late.

The state has shut down his businesses. Liens were placed against him for owing tens, sometimes hundred of thousands of dollars. He is constantly late when he files his taxes for NAN. A former aide of Sharpton’s, Carl Redding, told National Review, “What he’s doing is negligent. … Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Obama’s Tax Piracy

Reforming the corporate tax structure in the United States has been a long time coming. Both parties agree it is sorely in need of an overhaul, but the change Barack Obama has in mind is not one that will help our economy. In fact, it’s nothing but piracy on the high seas.

Obama’s 2016 budget proposal includes a plan to force corporations to pay a 14% tax on accumulated overseas profits. In the past, businesses earning money overseas were able to defer taxes on those profits until the money was brought back to the U.S. This new 14% tax does away with that practice.

The second part of Obama’s one-two punch proposes a 19% minimum tax on foreign profits. Companies that reinvest foreign profits directly into the U.S. would be exempt from walking the plank the additional penalty.

This is all part and parcel of Obama’s call for “economic patriotism” — defined as paying what he deems is a “fair share” of taxes.

The president claims his corporate tax proposal is necessary to help fund badly needed infrastructure investment to the tune of $478 billion over six years. He wants multinational corporations to cover at least $238 billion of that tab.

Republicans have expressed interest in more infrastructure spending, and it may be one of the few points of agreement they have with the president’s $4 trillion budget plan. Such spending can upgrade America’s roads and bridges, ports and railroads, as well as create more jobs.

But Obama’s corporate tax hike is not the way to pay for it. “Changes to our tax code just to fund more spending by our already bloated government is not the way to boost our economy and encourage job creation,” said Rep. Pat Tiberi (R-OH).

Higher taxes on corporations won’t encourage investment in the U.S. or motivate those companies to bring that money back home. The federal government’s corporate tax rate is already 15 points higher than most of our global competitors. The U.S. is also the only nation that taxes foreign income on our own companies. With a corporate tax policy like this in place, it’s no wonder the U.S. has been losing its competitive edge.

Obama claims he’s doing companies a favor by charging a 14% tax on earnings not yet repatriated rather than what current law demands. The profits he’s looking to plunder, however, have not specifically been earmarked for U.S. investment, so, according to current law, they should not be taxed at all.

The White House says the suggested rates in the president’s proposal are still open to debate. “When people are putting out numbers, you’re opening up a process for negotiation,” said Gene Sperling, liberal economic guru and former top economic adviser to Obama. The president will negotiate? Right, and we have oceanfront property in Arizona to sell him.

The truth is, Obama sees a glut of cash and he wants to get his hands on it. U.S. companies have accumulated foreign profits in excess of $2 trillion. To a statist pirate like Obama, that’s a lot of booty just begging to be confiscated.

Obama’s corporate tax “reform” is a mask to hide further government plundering in the private sector. As for using it to balance out spending, when has the federal government ever been concerned about that? With an $18 trillion debt and a 2016 budget that includes a 7% spending increase, does it really matter if an additional $238 billion in spending goes unfunded?

Real corporate tax reform would overhaul the system to make the U.S. more competitive in overseas markets. It would encourage multinational corporations to bring profits back home and invest in infrastructure and job creation, things Obama supposedly cherishes. It might even end the practice of taxing foreign profits altogether. Real reform would help shore up the economy that, despite platitudes and projections, is far from stable. Democrats lauded Obama’s handling of the economy in the third quarter of last year when GDP grew by 5%. They were quieter in the fourth quarter when that growth dropped to 2.6%.

Obama claims, “This country does best when everyone gets their fair shot, everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same set of rules.”

But that’s not the policy he’s followed since taking office. Every one of the seven budgets the president has submitted to Congress included massive deficit spending backed by sharp, punitive tax hikes on the same individuals and corporations. If everyone is supposed to be playing by the same rules, then why is Captain Obama picking winners and losers from his pirate ship?

How to Boost Employment

If there’s one thing on which Barack Obama is consistent, it’s taking credit for the success of policies that weren’t actually his. Recall his boasts about wiping out al-Qaida, the boom in U.S. oil production and boosting job creation while ending the recession. In the latter case, it turns out it was the end of one of his polices that had a significant role in creating jobs in 2014.

In 2008 and 2009, the narrative was that the government needed to pump billions of dollars into the economy in order to fix it. Leftist central planners hailed this Keynesian approach as the answer to America’s economic woes. We witnessed cash for clunkers, the auto bailout, and, of course, the “stimulus.”

Part of that near-trillion-dollar boondoggle was the lengthy extension of unemployment benefits. The Wall Street Journal notes that before the stimulus states would typically offer unemployment benefits that would expire after 26 weeks. Under the Pelosi Congress, those benefits were extended an additional 53 weeks, but that apparently wasn’t enough, so Congress created a 20-week bonus program on top of that. This lavish giveaway granted almost two years’ worth of unemployment compensation to qualified individuals.

In December 2013, Obama refused to work with the GOP-led House on unemployment reform, so the House let the unemployment extensions expire. Predictably, the president blasted cruel Republicans for denying people the opportunity to pay rent or buy food. Obama deemed it nearly impossible for millions of Americans to make it on their own without long-term assistance from government.

Yet according to a recent report from the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), “1.8 million additional jobs were created in 2014 due to the benefit cut. Almost 1 million of these jobs were filled by workers from out of the labor force who would not have participated in the labor market had benefit extensions been reauthorized.”

However, other economists found the methodologies used to arrive at the 1.8 million jobs estimate inaccurate, and they contend that one policy change cannot account for that many jobs. Dr. Salim Furth, a senior policy analyst in macroeconomics at the Heritage Foundation, suggests, “Despite the promising macro statistics, the new paper struggles to accurately measure the impact of unemployment insurance.”

What does this mean and why does it matter?

According to Dr. Furth, there is a cost-benefit aspect of unemployment insurance. “The macroeconomic costs to unemployment insurance come from the demand side. Employers have a narrow benefit from each marginal hire, so hiring can respond a lot to a small shift in wages. Unemployment insurance gives potential employees more bargaining power, raising the equilibrium hiring wage a little, but lowering the equilibrium number of hires a lot.”

While the GOP’s decision to end the perpetual extension of unemployment benefits certainly wasn’t the single cause of an increase in jobs in 2014, there is no doubt a correlation in the number of people now in the workforce.

If people are paid not to work for an extended period of time, it creates a disincentive to find a job. While those who are hired for a job paying below what they want to earn may not like it, at least they are working and at least they have the opportunity to move up or move on to something else rather than staying on the taxpayer dole.

James Madison, the author of our Constitution, once said, “Charity is no part of legislative duty of government.” This is an incredibly difficult and seemingly heartless argument to make today. The vast majority of Americans either do depend or have depended on some form of the “safety net,” or they at least advocate its continuance.

The best practical solution then is to push policies that promote the general welfare rather than provide for it — which is exactly what ending the extension of unemployment benefits has done for many Americans.

Unemployment insurance can ease the pain of someone losing their job. However, relying on it for too long during a time of recession leads to a longer and slower recovery.

Obama and those around him who subscribe to a centrally planned economy tend to really mess things up rather than make them better. One can only imagine what our economy would be like if the central planners would let go of the reins.

Author James Thurber (1894-1961): “It is better to know some of the questions than all of the answers.”

Columnist Thomas Sowell: “Putting together a successful model — of anything — is a lot more complicated than identifying which factors affect which outcomes. When many factors are involved, which is common, the challenge is to determine precisely how those factors interact with each other. That is a lot easier said than done when it comes to climate. Everyone can agree, for example, that the heat of the sunlight is greater in the tropics than in the temperate zones or near the poles. But, the highest temperatures ever recorded in Asia, Africa, North America or South America were all recorded outside — repeat, OUTSIDE — the tropics. No part of Europe is in the tropics, but record temperatures in European cities like Athens and Seville have been higher than the highest temperatures ever recorded in cities virtually right on the equator, such as Singapore in Asia or Nairobi in Africa. None of this disproves the scientific fact that sunlight is hotter in the tropics. But it does indicate that there are other factors which go into temperatures on earth.”

Columnist Cal Thomas: “The greatest warning against trusting politicians to improve a nation’s virtue comes from King David. When he had all the power his theocracy could offer him in ancient Israel, he wrote, ‘Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.’ (Psalm 146:3 NIV). … What does true faith look like? The apostle James wrote to believers: ‘Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.’ (James 1:27, New Living Translation) Unfortunately, politicians can’t raise money on that agenda and the likelihood of one getting elected on such a platform in our day is nil. But by embracing ‘true religion,’ one ultimately affects the social order in ways that the political system is incapable of doing. This is not to say people shouldn’t pray for those in authority, including those for whom they did not vote, because Scripture commands believers to do so. It is to say conservative Christians who salivate when politicians speak their ‘language’ should heed King David’s warning and the statement about the two kingdoms.”

Seattle Muslims Demand Teacher Be Canned For Showing Muhammad Cartoons To Teens

Posted: 03 Feb 2015 08:37 AM PST

Seattle Muslims Demand Teacher Be Canned For Showing Muhammad Cartoons A group of Somali immigrants protested outside the Refugee Women’s Alliance in Seattle on Friday to demand the firing of a teacher who had shown students cartoons of Muhammad, the founder of Islam. The teacher under fire, Deepa Bhandaru, displayed the images for the group of teenage students last month, the day after the Charlie Hebdo shootings in Paris, The Seattle Globalist reports. Two radical Muslim immigrants massacred 11 people during the terrorist attack. Bhandaru, a recent recipient of a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Washington (also in Seattle), had been teaching a free class at the Refugee Women’s Alliance when she showed the cartoons to the kids. The lesson topic for that day’s workshop was religious pluralism and freedom of speech. The protest against Bhandaru occurred late Friday afternoon. Perhaps 15 to 20 people attended. A man named Hassan Diis was passing around pre-printed signs in English, according to a journalist on the scene. Diis, who describes himself as a Somali community activist and a devout Muslim, said he was angered after he heard that the teacher showed cartoon images of Muhammad to Somali teens. “We don’t want someone to brainwash our children,” he told The Daily Caller. “The prophet is very important for us.” Diis added that he believes that Bhandaru, who he says is not a Muslim, should no longer instruct Somali students at the Refugee Women’s Alliance. “We want her to leave this community alone,” the Somali activist told TheDC. “We want the organization to hire someone who understands the culture and values of our immigrant Muslim community.” Somalia is an overwhelmingly Sunni Muslim country. Islam is the nation’s official religion. More

‘Inside Edition’ Hires First Transgender Television ReporterPosted: 03 Feb 2015 08:28 AM PST

America’s airwaves are about to get flooded with stories about transgender people in a bid for acceptance and normalcy. Last week, former Olympian Bruce Jenner announced that he has begun filming a new reality show about his journey to becoming a woman. Now we have Chopper Bob coming out as a “female” reporter on Inside Edition. This is all being done as a calculated scheme by the LGBT Mafia to reset America as a queer country. Having a rabidly pro-LGBT president helps greatly to advance your cause as well. In the “new” America, if you are not on board with the LGBT agenda, you will be isolated and ostracized. Preaching the old-fashioned gospel of Jesus Christ is the new “hate speech”, and it will be punished. Are you ready for what comes next? “We are thrilled to have Zoey join ‘Inside Edition’ as Special Correspondent and make some TV history,” said the magazine show’s executive producer, Charles Lachman, in a statement. Formerly known as Chopper Bob, Tur made a name for herself as a helicopter pilot who covered the infamous O.J. Simpson police pursuit in 1994 and the Los Angeles riots in 1992. More

Defending the Pre-Trib RapturePosted: 03 Feb 2015 08:20 AM PST

Defending the Pre-Trib RaptureOne of the most hot-button topics in Bible Prophecy is the timing of the rapture of the church. The rapture of the church is a secret event in which the Lord Jesus Christ comes in the air to “rapture” or “snatch up” his church age believers and take them to Heaven to the place prepared for them since he left Earth almost 2,000 years ago. The Bible makes this promise in John 14:1-4:

Jhn 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Jhn 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Jhn 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
Jhn 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

As we can see from the above scriptures the Lord has promised to “come again” to take believers to the place he has prepared for them in Heaven. The rapture of the church is a secret event in that it can happen at anytime since the First Coming. One of the most common mistakes made when studying the rapture is that people oftentimes confuse it with the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. While the rapture of the church can happen at anytime, the Second Coming on the otherhand can’t occur until certain events have taken place on Earth (Matt. 24:29-30). These events are mainly the seven year covenant made between Israel and the Antichrist, the Abomination of Desolation, and basically the rest of the Tribulation period. The fact that the rapture of the church occurs before the Tribulation or 70th week of Daniel is why it is referred to as the pre-tribulational rapture. While some individuals maintain a pre-wrath, mid-trib, and post-trib rapture timing view, it is my opinion that after studying the scriptures, the only view that is sound and in line with God’s word is that of the pre-tribulational rapture. Some of the more popular pre-trib rapture verses are listed below:

Matthew 24:44 “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh”
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Thes. 1:9-10 They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

1 Thes. 5:9 “God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The above verses show that the rapture of the church is an event that God uses to remove believers from the Earth before he pours out his wrath on unbelievers, which will be both unrepentent Jews and Gentiles. The purpose of Tribulation period is to punish unbelieving Israel and unrepentent Gentiles who have turned away from the God and delighted in their wicked ways. For almost 2,000 years Israel has refused to accept the Messiah named Jesus Christ who was the promised Messiah that God said he would send to save the world from their sins. As we know from Bible history, the Jewish authorities of almost 2,000 years ago crucified him in stead of accepting him. However, God knew this would happen and in turn used this rejection to serve as the basis for church age of salvation of grace through faith in the completed work of Jesus on the Cross. Jesus served as the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world for all of those who would believe in Him. As a result of this work on the Cross, those that believe in Jesus are made righteous by having God’s righteousness imputed to them through grace through faith in Jesus Christ. As we showed above, the Bible tells us that we who accept salvation through Jesus Christ are not appointed to the wrath of God. In the context of end times and church age believers, this would be the 70th week of Daniel or the Tribulation period. More

Katy Perry’s Evangelical Minister Father on Lesbianism-Promoting Daughter: ‘I’m Always Proud’Posted: 03 Feb 2015 08:10 AM PST

Katy Perry’s Evangelical Minister Father on Lesbianism-Promoting Daughter: ‘I’m Always Proud’Keith Hudson, the evangelical minister father of pop star Katy Perry, known for her hit song “I Kissed a Girl,” which she performed at the Super Bowl in Phoenix on Sunday, told reporters prior to her appearance that he was proud of his daughter. “Oh no, I don’t have a problem,” he told the Daily Mail when asked if he had any issue with her scheduled performance at the event. “I’m always proud. I’m a proud father.” “She’s gonna do some good [songs],” Hudson said. “She’s excited.” Hudson, 67, said that he was going to attend the Super Bowl on Sunday just to see his daughter perform. “Hanging out with our pastor @jentezen at the ‪#‎SuperBowl‬ waiting for ‪#‎katyperry‬ and ‪#‎halftime‬,” he wrote on Facebook Sunday evening As previously reported, Perry performed several songs during the show, including “Roar,” “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream” and “Fireworks.” During “Roar,” the pop star rode a giant mechanical lion, and during “California Girls” and “Teenage Dream” she was accompanied by dancers dressed in shark costumes. “Let’s go all the way tonight/No regrets, just love,” she sang during “Teenage Dream.” “[I’ll] let you put your hands on me in my skin-tight jeans/Be your teenage dream tonight.”  Perry also sang her hit song “I Kissed a Girl,” which speaks about experimenting with lesbianism. “I kissed a girl and I liked it, the taste of her cherry chapstick,” she sang out, rubbing her bottom up the leg of rocker Lenny Kravitz, who joined her on the song. “I kissed a girl just to try it/I hope my boyfriend don’t mind it/It felt so wrong, it felt so right/Don’t mean I’m in love tonight/I kissed a girl and I liked it.” Perry was brought up to avoid secular music and television programs. She began singing as a Contemporary Christian artist at age 15, and released her first national album in 2001. “He’ll prevail in the midst of all my sin and temptations,” Perry, then known as Katy Hudson, sang out on the song “Faith Won’t Fail,” featured on her self-titled debut album. In an interview with CCM (Contemporary Christian Music Magazine), she stated that one her musical influences was Keith Green, who was known to be bold in his lyrical witness for Christ. More

2015: A Significant Turning Point for IsraelPosted: 03 Feb 2015 08:03 AM PST

2015: A Significant Turning Point for IsraelThis year 2014-2015 represents a significant turning point, and as noted by many, a Shemitah year in the Jewish calendar. This week marks the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp in southwest Poland, near Krakow. An estimated 1.1 million Jews between 1942 and 1945 were murdered by the Nazis there (including several of my grandfather’s family). On Jan. 27, the Soviets entered Auschwitz and freed the 7,000 remaining prisoners, all starving and freezing. Not only was Auschwitz liberated but also World War II as a whole came to an end, including the fighting in the Middle East and in the Pacific Rim. This is the end of an important 70-year period for Japan and the surrounding countries there as well. Seventy years is described in the Scriptures as a period to fulfill historic prophecies and punishments (Jer. 25:11, Dan. 9:24). The 70-year period is related to the concept of “visiting the sins of the parents” (Ex. 20:5) and a 70-year life-span (Ps. 90:10). Seventy years more or less completes the cycle of one generation giving birth to the next, and the first generation passing away. Today the last witnesses of the WWII period are dying off. The current generation has little emotional connection to what happened then.

Since the end of WWII there has been a certain transfer of the “vision” to exterminate the Jews from the Nazis to what has become radical Islam today. This year, 2014-2015 has seen the declaration of ISIS, an Islamic State. This is a major development in the Islamic worldview. All the terrorist groups, from Hamas to Hezbollah to Al-Qaida, were looking forward to the renewal of a Caliphate (worldwide Islamic empire), but did not see themselves as that empire. ISIS is declaring that the Caliphate nation has begun. Europe and the United Nationsseem to have little understanding of the danger at hand. At this time, 70 years after the Holocaust, it is only the nation of Israel that speaks clearly of the threat of Islamic Jihad in our generation, and only representatives from Israel who quote from the Bible in the General Assembly of the U.N. During the same period, we have seen major developments in the body of Christ. The largest number of believing Christians is to be found in Asia today, not in the West. The rise of the church of Asia is a paradigm shift of dimensions not seen in almost 2,000 years. More

Can You Believe Which City Is the Most ‘Bible-Minded?’Posted: 03 Feb 2015 07:59 AM PST

Can You Believe Which City Is the Most 'Bible-Minded?'After three years of having the most Bible-minded city in America, Tennessee has relinquished the title to Alabama. Birmingham moved up from the second spot in 2014 to the top spot in 2015 in American Bible Society’s annual ranking of America’s Most Bible-Minded Cities. As in past years, the Bible Belt performed strongly in the 2015 rankings, while East Coast cities once again brought up the rear of the list. Small cities also generally performed better than did large cities. Just one of the top 10 Bible-minded cities ranks in the top 25 media markets. American Bible Society’s Bible-Minded Cities survey, conducted by Barna Research, uses Nielsen media market rankings as a proxy for city size. The 2013 list topper, Knoxville, Tennessee, dropped out of the top 10 for the first time. America’s largest city, New York, entered the bottom ten in 2015 for the first time, ranking 91st on the 2015 list. One surprise this year was Dallas’ dropping out of the top 25 most Bible-minded cities, coming in at number 26. The rankings are calculated using data collected by Barna Group. Each city’s Bible mindedness is determined by analyzing survey respondents’ Bible reading habits and beliefs about the Bible. The most Bible-minded respondents said they had read the Bible in the past seven days and believe strongly in the accuracy of the Bible. Nationally, only 27 percent of the population was considered Bible minded. This year’s rankings from the America’s Most Bible-Minded Cities study show many differences from usage statistics for American Bible Society’s Bible search engine, bibles.org. Louisville, Kentucky, registered the largest number of searches on bibles.org while Syracuse, New York, registered the fewest searches of any of the top 100 markets. More

British army creates team of Facebook warriorsPosted: 03 Feb 2015 07:55 AM PST

fBritish army creates team of Facebook warriorsThe British army is creating a special force of Facebook warriors, skilled in psychological operations and use of social media to engage in unconventional warfare in the information age. The 77th Brigade, to be based in Hermitage, near Newbury, in Berkshire, will be about 1,500-strong and formed of units drawn from across the army. It will formally come into being in April. The brigade will be responsible for what is described as non-lethal warfare. Both the Israeli and US army already engage heavily in psychological operations. Against a background of 24-hour news, smartphones and social media, such as Facebook and Twitter, the force will attempt to control the narrative. The 77th will include regulars and reservists and recruitment will begin in the spring. Soldiers with journalism skills and familiarity with social media are among those being sought. An army spokesman said: “77th Brigade is being created to draw together a host of existing and developing capabilities essential to meet the challenges of modern conflict and warfare. It recognises that the actions of others in a modern battlefield can be affected in ways that are not necessarily violent.” The move is partly a result of experience in counter-insurgency operations in Afghanistan. It can also be seen as a response to events of the last year that include Russia’s actions in Ukraine, in particular Crimea, and Islamic State’s (Isis) takeover of large swaths of Syria and Iraq. Canada’s New Anti-Terrorism Legislation Echoes The Patriot ActPosted: 03 Feb 2015 07:50 AM PST

Canada's New Anti-Terrorism Legislation Echoes The Patriot ActCanada looks to be next in line for broadly-written, government-expanding “anti-terror” legislation. This new legislation was prompted by a couple of recent attacks on government employees. The first attack involved a man said to be “inspired by the Islamic State” who ran over two soldiers in a Quebec parking lot before being killed. The second attack struck a bit closer to home, when a gunman shot a soldier at the national war memorial before making his way into Parliament. An attack on the government’s turf will always provoke a legislative reaction. One might think some security fixes at Parliament would be in the offing, but Prime Minister Stephen Harper has much bigger plans. Canada will introduce new anti-terror laws that will make it a crime to encourage terrorism against Canadians, Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced Friday in response to two recent attacks. The laws will also allow anyone suspected of being involved in a terror plot to be detained without charge for up to seven days, and empower Canada’s spy agency to thwart attacks directly in a significant expansion of their powers. If this sounds eerily close to the laws enacted after the 9/11 attacks, there’s a reason for that. For those with government expansion and broader spying powers on the mind, a scary, but ultimately ineffectual, attack on prime government property is an opportunity — not an isolated incident. Peter Watts (an “an awkward hybrid of biologist, science-fiction author, and [according to the US Department of Homeland Security] convicted felon/tewwowist”) sums up the birthing of this horrendous legislation beautifully at his No More Moods, Ads or Cutesy Fucking Icons blog: We had a shooting up here in Canada the other day. Like most things Canadian it was a modest, self-effacing affair, nothing that even a couple of losers from Columbine would write home about: a single death, a geriatric hero. A Prime Minister cowering in the closet, scribbling back-of-the-napkin notes on how best to exploit this unexpected opportunity. More

Fox Host on Mandatory Vaccines: “Some Things Require Big Brother”Posted: 03 Feb 2015 07:45 AM PST

Fox Host on Mandatory Vaccines: “Some Things Require Big Brother”After both Rand Paul and Chris Christie said that the government should not have the power to make childhood vaccines mandatory, Fox News hosts Megyn Kelly and Bill O’Reilly agreed that the state should be able to force parents into giving their kids shots, arguing “some things require big brother”.  During a visit to a vaccine laboratory, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said there should be “some measure of choice” on whether parents decide to vaccinate their children or not, dependent on the type of vaccine and the disease in question. His remarks were followed by Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, who told CNBC, “The state doesn’t own your children….parents own the children. And it is an issue of freedom and public health.”  “I guess being for freedom would be really unusual?” Paul asserted during the testy interview. “I guess I don’t understand the point of why that would be controversial?” President Obama also commented on the issue, telling NBC, “There is every reason to get vaccinated, but there aren’t reasons to not.” “You should get your kids vaccinated,” he added. “It’s good for them and the challenge you have is if you have a certain group of kids who don’t get vaccinated.” However, Obama’s assertion that the science on vaccines is “conclusive” differs from his 2008 remarks when he stated, “The science right now is inconclusive.”  Fox News hosts Kelly and O’Reilly responded to the controversy by asserting that children who do not take state-mandated vaccines should be prevented from attending school. Asked by O’Reilly if she opposed mandatory vaccinations for children, Kelly responded “no,” adding she had vaccinated all of her three children. “This is gonna be a big issue for these politicians going forward because it’s about big brother but on the other hand some things do require the involvement of big brother,” said Kelly. ‘Medical mystery’ still stumps doctors amid outbreak of poliolike paralysis.Posted: 03 Feb 2015 07:35 AM PST

'Medical mystery' still stumps doctors amid outbreak of poliolike paralysisWhen 13-year-old Billy Sticklen woke up the morning of Sept. 24, he discovered he couldn’t lift his arms above his chest. Within days his paralysis had progressed to the point where he could only move his hands and feet. Now, with intensive physical therapy, he’s been making steady progress, moving from a wheelchair to a walker, and just days ago to walking with a cane. Researchers once thought they might have an explanation for why this Joplin, Mo., boy and more than 100 other children from across the country have developed this poliolike paralysis since August. But as they collect more evidence, the cause has become less and less certain. “In fact, it’s a medical mystery,” said Mary Anne Jackson, chief of infectious diseases at Children’s Mercy Hospital.

Jackson and other doctors at Children’s Mercy were among the first in the nation to recognize that a virus called enterovirus D68, or EV-D68, once considered rare, was causing an outbreak of often severe respiratory illnesses among children last summer. Since August, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has counted more than 1,100 confirmed EV-D68 cases nationwide, almost all among children, many who had a history of asthma. It’s possible that millions of kids with milder symptoms also became ill. “It was the largest outbreak of its type ever reported in the world,” Jackson said.

About the same time that EV-D68 was sweeping the nation, poliolike cases started appearing among children, first in Colorado and then in 33 other states. Researchers suspected a link between EV-D68 and the paralysis because there were initial signs that some of the paralyzed children had been exposed to the virus. EV-D68 is a distant cousin of the polio virus. But as researchers have sifted through the evidence, they haven’t been able to establish that connection. “Today, there is no association” between EV-D68 and the paralysis, Jackson said. “We just don’t have any evidence that these two things go together.” Jackson wouldn’t say that EV-D68 has been ruled out entirely as a cause, but research into these paralysis cases has broadened considerably. Billy Sticklen’s case suggests just how easy it might be to look at EV-D68 as a suspect. More

All American Credit Cards Will Disappear In 2015 And Be Replaced With RFID Chip Technology

by NTEB News Desk

October 2015: The End of the Swipe-and-Sign Credit Card

“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:17 (KJV)

Business Insider magazine reports a startling revelation today:

“Every credit card in the U.S. will be replaced by October 2015 with new cards that contain the chip-and-PIN technology that the rest of the world has had for years, according to the Wall Street Journal. Both Visa and MasterCard are committed to the switch, which will render extinct the plastic in your wallets and purses right now. No more black magnetic stripes; no more signing on the dotted line.” source

The new EMV credit card system in the U.S. is set to be rolled out by October, 2015. Also going away is the ability to sign for your purchases, that will no longer be necessary.

Instead, you will enter a PIN to verify that you are the holder of the card. Removing the human element is one more step in the march towards the Mark Of The Beast system that will be in place during the Tribulation under the Antichrist.

Obviously, all this is leading to a microchip being placed inside every human being, which would be the only way to guarantee that your card will not be lost or stolen.

“Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:7 (KJV)

Make no mistake about it, this will happen within our lifetime, within our generation. We are the generation that will see the Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ, and the unsaved who will experience the time of Jacob’s trouble that will follow that event.

Just like God used Noah to warn the people for 120 years and then, in an instant, sent the first drop of rain that began The Flood. So now is God using His people, His watchmen, to warn and warn and warn until you are nearly exhausted from hearing about it. Until…

Guess what comes next?

The Enemies of God and The Religious Hypocrites – What’s the Difference?

The first group I will address are those who advance ungodly agendas, which are criminal and are enemies to this country and to mankind. The second group I will address are the hypocritical, modern-day churchgoers. I am talking of those who say that they love God so much that they disobey Him at every command.

God Bless America?

Folks, instead of bumper stickers that say, “God Bless America” and social media posts that say, “God Bless America,” we need to be saying, “Forgive Us, For We Have Sinned Against You.” True repentance is the only hope we have.

Is it possible that one day soon, very soon probably, there will be someone in America praying a prayer very similar to that of Daniel?

Professor says ‘fear of man, not God’ led megachurch leader to accept homosexual members

by Marsha West

According to the Christian News Network:

A Christian theology professor says that it was the fear of man, not God that led a Tennessee megachurch minister to announce full acceptance of homosexuals in his congregation, including the allowance of those involved in sexual sin to serve in leadership roles and to “marry.”

“If you fear man, God will become small to you,” wrote Owen Strachan, Assistant Professor of Christian Theology and Church History at Boyce College in Louisville, Ky. in a post on Friday. “The approval of fellow sinners will matter more to you than obeying God by the witness of His word.”

“What Jesus was really saying is this: ‘I am the way,’ as in, ‘I know the way.’”

by Marsha West

Stand Up For The Truth reveals that Steve McSwain, an influential leader who has the ear of Christian leaders, political leaders and leaders of other religions, recently commented that “the church must ‘repent’ of how we have handled homosexual Christians.” In a piece McSwain wrote he also made the following heretical statement:

Today, I realize that what Jesus was really saying is this: “I am the way,” as in, “I know the way.” “I’ve discovered it” which, by implication means, “you can, too.”

An incomplete and unofficial guide to pointing to the truth in 2015

by Marsha West

Millions are going to perish in 2015, says Stephen John. And, while this is going on, the dying world will be keeping an eye on professing Christians. What will they see? Will they see superficial, self-absorbed “Christians” having a hand in the spiritual demise of the lost, or will they see believers actually doing what they are supposed to do – pointing to the Truth, to the only One who can bring eternal life to those dying?

Open Letter to a Televangelist

by Stephen Bedard

Dear Random Televangelist: Perhaps televangelist is not the correct term. I am not writing to any pastor who has services that appear on television. It may be because of my generation that I call television preachers who preach what is called “the prosperity gospel” televangelists. First of all, I respect the fact that you preach […]

Does loving our neighbor include vaccinating our kids?

by Denny Burk

There’s a measles outbreak in California, and some GOP politicians are sounding an uncertain note on vaccinations. At the risk of getting my head bitten off by the anti-vaccine folks, I sheepishly offer my co-sign to Michael Gerson’s column on vaccinations titled “Vaccines and what we owe to our neighbors.” He writes: Read more of this post

Homosexual Marriage: Listen to the Children

by Bill Muehlenberg

As activist judges, a secular left media, and PC politicians all work overtime to implement the radical homosexual agenda, including homosexual marriage, the very people we should be listening to in this debate are being completely ignored and overlooked.

And this is even more important now that the US Supreme Court has decided to hold a hearing on homosexual marriage in April. As usual, the homosexual activists will get a terrific hearing, as they seek to shout the loudest and drown out competing voices. But it is the children that should be heard here.

Indeed, in all the clamouring for homosexual marriage and adoption rights, one vitally important party to all this is conspicuous by its absence. What about the children? Why do we never consider their needs, rights and concerns? Why is it only the selfish lusts and wants of adults that we consider, but never the well-being of children?

Hipster Churches In Silicon Valley: Evangelicalism’s Unlikely New Home

The Bay Area has never been perceived as religious: a 2012 Gallup poll found that fewer than a quarter of residents identify as “very religious” (defined as going to church weekly), as opposed to 40% of the nation as a whole. High salaries have drawn droves of well-educated millennials to the booming tech sector, which correlates with lower religious sentiment. So far afield from the Bible belt, the region is in fact seen as hospitable to all forms of old testament abominations: fornication, paganism – even sodomy.

What to Make of Katy Perry?

Katy Perry (center) and parents.

Since Sunday’s Super Bowl, the halftime show—which included a Katy Perry performance—has gotten quite a bit of attention. Honestly, since Janet Jackson’s infamous “wardrobe malfunction” a few years ago, it seems the halftime show and commercials get more attention than the game, which is kind of sad and silly. (Confession: I’m not a huge football fan anyway, but focus on the sport, okay?)

Some might not be aware, but Katy Perry comes from an ostensibly Christian background. Her parents are described as coming out of the charismatic persuasion—Dad being an “end times preacher” and Mom being a “prophetess.” I will leave aside my theological viewpoints on those issues and focus on a different matter where many Christian parents struggle: what to do when a child goes astray?

Love in the Time of Deflategate

Professional football players are drawn to type-A personalities like Jack Easterby, who years ago as the officiant of Brady Quinn’s wedding wrestled the schedule away from the wedding planner and streamlined the process to make it easier for the bride and groom. Players can relate to a deep-seated desire to be great. Easterby is not the only character coach in the NFL, but he might be the most ambitious one.

Does James 2:24 Deny Justification by Faith Alone?

What James is saying is this: If a person says he has faith, but he gives no outward evidence of that faith through righteous works, his faith will not justify him…We are not saved by a profession of faith or by a claim to faith. That faith has to be genuine before the merit of Christ will be imputed to anybody. You can’t just say you have faith. True faith will absolutely and necessarily yield the fruits of obedience and the works of righteousness.

We Have a Problem

It is unfortunate that only last year, someone very close to … and me reported serious long term spousal abuse to her [denominational] session, only to be blamed and told she was overreacting. The husband, an elder, was subsequently asked to carry on serving communion. Instead of calling him to repentance, the session told the wife that they wanted to take a softly, softly approach so he wouldn’t “bolt.” Meanwhile, the wife and children continued to suffer. By God’s grace, the couple found appropriate Christian counseling after a time of terrible crisis but only after leaving that particular [denominational] church.

How To Deal With Conflict In The Church

We must resolve conflict at every level in the church. Try to prevent it before it begins. The seeds of conflict often begin in small, invisible ways. It is the duty of the church to prevent and resolve conflict because as we have read, God is not the author of confusion and Christ’s Body should not be divided. Let us pray that we have the mind of Christ and not even get to the point of having to resolve conflict in the first place.

Dear Justice Kennedy: An Open Letter from the Child of a Loving Gay Parent

Six adult children of gay parents are willing to stand against the bluster of the gay lobby and submit amicus briefs for your consideration in this case. I ask that you please read them. We are just the tip of the iceberg of children currently being raised in gay households. When they come of age, many will wonder why the separation from one parent who desperately mattered to them was celebrated as a “triumph of civil rights,” and they will turn to this generation for an answer.

War and Peace in the 21st Century

On both sides of hostilities stand Christians, as Ukraine is a country of believers. Most of the country is Orthodox, divided between the Ukrainian Orthodox-Moscow Patriarchate (MP), the Ukrainian Orthodox-Kiev Patriarchate and a small Autocephalous Orthodox group. The Byzantine-rite Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), in full communion with the Holy See, represents about 15% of the population, mainly in western Ukraine, where it is a particularly strong force, spiritually, culturally and historically.

Review: Conjugal Union: What Marriage Is And Why It Matters

Conjugal Union isn’t a book about the Bible’s view on marriage; it’s a philosophical account that works out the ethical and legal ramifications of a controversial view. But it’s the kind of book that will help us read the Bible and other books better, as it will reward patient and attentive readers with new thoughts on human sexuality. Conjugal Union is philosophical meat, and even if readers don’t leave satisfied with the meal, they won’t go hungry for reading it.

The King Of Israel

Q.  In the Old Testament, it seems to be clear from the beginning of Israel’s existence that God had ordained them to be ruled by judges.  Only after the Hebrews’ vainglorious whining and their envy of other nations, did God acquiesce by allowing them to be ruled by a king: hence Saul, Israel’s first king.

For what reason would God’s Master Plan redeem mankind–in the future– in the person of a “king”?  Why would God not send the Messiah for the Jews into the world in the re-instituted capacity as Israel’s “judge”?  It seems this would have been bringing His will back to the forefront for Israel and, as well as, admonishing them for wanting something that God didn’t want them to have in the first place.

More On 6,000 Years Or 4.5 Million

Q.  Re: 6,000 Years Or 4.5 Million.  I believe the Bible says the earth and whole creation is approximately 6,000 years old. I heard one Bible teacher explain that miraculous creation implies age. In other words, if God created a 30 year old man 10 minutes ago, that man would be both 10 minutes and 30 years old at the same time, and that explains tens of thousands of years old fossils, etc. in an earth that is only 6,000 years old. That’s the best and most logical (to me) explanation I’ve heard explaining prehistoric discoveries. Is there another or better one Biblically speaking?

Sola Sisters: Christians, the Super Bowl and Rejecting Conspiratorial Thinking

Posted by Christine Pack

“For the Lord spoke thus to me with his strong hand upon me, and warned me not to walk in the way of this people, saying: ‘Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. But the Lord of hosts, him you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.'” (Isaiah 8:11-13)

Yes, the world is wicked. And yes, a lot of that in-your-face wickedness was on display, both visually and lyrically, in many ways during the 2015 Super Bowl half-time show. But please, let’s not go down the Illuminati rabbit hole. Exhibit A, an article from the dodgy, conspiracy-focused website called Now The End Begins, entitled: Ex-Christian Katy Perry Promotes Dark Magic and LGBT Agenda at 2015 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The above article, which claims that various performers in the 2015 Super Bowl half-time show were openly broadcasting the intentions of the Illuminati and the New World Order, has been popping up in my Facebook newsfeed all day. For those who have never heard those terms before, the Illuminati and the New World Order are believed to be organizations in which Satan’s minions gather in secret to work his dark mischief, but Old Scratch will occasionally (it is believed) come out into the open and use his minions to broadcast his intentions to the world, which he does through various costumes and hand signals.  Beyonce making a triangle with her fingers during a stage performance was one widely quoted example of this, and so was Madonna’s half-time Super Bowl costume from a few years ago. What are these high level occultists supposed to be broadcasting? The code-breakers can’t quite figure it out, but they know Something Is Going On, what with All! Those! Symbols! being flashed. From the article:

In the recent years the Super Bowl, almost always the highest-rated and most-watched television broadcast on the planet, has given over it’s famed Halftime Show to trumpet the cause of the New World Order and the Illuminati. And as referenced in our opening bible verse at the top of the story, the Illuminati knows that it is “their hour”, and they are defiantly out in the open. (online source)

But as Christian researcher Marcia Montenegro wrote a few years ago, symbols vary from culture to culture, and don’t always mean the same things (read her article entitled Demystifying Symbols here).

These conspiracy sites are concerning for two reasons:

HeadHeartHand Blog: How to Profit From False Prophets

As I’ve been writing a critical review of Joel Osteen’s, Your Best Life Now, I’ve been increasingly struck by how God often overrules the evil intentions of false prophets in order to ultimately bless His church.

Now I don’t want to minimize in any way the horrendous damage that false prophets do to the church and to individual souls. But our sovereign and wise God can turn even this great evil into a good in four ways:

  • by helping us discover the questions people are asking
  • by guiding us to a better understanding of the Bible
  • by highlighting where the church has been silent
  • by encouraging true Christians

Dead Charismatics Appearing in Dreams and Visions

witchThe Bible records strong words against those who practice necromancy, or what would be defined as communicating with the dead, particularly with the intent on foreseeing the future.  For instance,

Leviticus 20:27 states, A man or a woman who is a medium, or who has familiar spirits, shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones. Their blood shall be upon them.

A medium was a necromancer, an individual who was believed to have the ability to communicate with dead people so as to glean “revelation” about the afterlife, or even the future.

Deuteronomy 18:9-12 lists mediums, along with spiritists, soothsayers, and those who “call up the dead,” or those who would also be necromancers, as being abominations unto the Lord. No one in Israel was to have any dealings with them.

The classic biblical account of communicating with the dead comes from 1 Samuel 28. A…

Obama says that 99.9% of Muslims worldwide reject radical Islam, is he right?

That video is from The Weekly Standard, here’s the text:

President Obama told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria that 99.9 percent of Muslims reject radical Islam. He made the comments in response to a question about the White House avoiding using the phrase “Islamic terrorists.”

“You know, I think that the way to understand this is there is an element growing out of Muslim communities in certain parts of the world that have perverted the religion, have embraced a nihilistic, violent, almost medieval interpretation of Islam, and they’re doing damage in a lot of countries around the world,” said Obama.

“But it is absolutely true that I reject a notion that somehow that creates a religious war because the overwhelming majority of Muslims reject that interpretation of Islam. They don’t even recognize it as being Islam, and I think that for us to be successful in fighting this scourge, it’s very…
