Russians are using undiscovered exploits to hack the US government
f you’ve been wondering how Russian cyberattackers could compromise the White House and other high-profile targets, the security researchers at FireEye have an answer. They’ve determined that APT28, a politically-motivated Russian hacking group, used unpatched exploits in Flash Player and Windows in a series of assaults against the US government on April 13th. Patches for both flaws are either ready or on the way, but the vulnerabilities reinforce beliefs that APT28 is very skilled — less experienced groups would use off-the-shelf code.

Thousands of people marched in Berlin, Munich and other German cities on Saturday in protest against a planned free trade deal between Europe and the United States that they fear will erode food, labor and environmental standards. Confiscating ‘Criminals’’ Property Is a Cop Racket
Until last week, police in all 50 states had the power to take your property—cash, cars, houses, or anything else—based purely on their assertion that the property was “guilty” of a crime. This means that police and prosecutors can confiscate your stuff, sell it and pocket the money without even charging you with a crime, as long as they say that the property was connected in some way to illicit activity. The burden is then on the owner to hire lawyers to prove, not that they are innocent, which would be horrific enough, but that their property is.

Christians Are Being Systematically Purged From The U.S. Military

If you are a Bible-believing Christian, there is no place for you in Barack Obama’s version of the U.S. military. Christian service members all over the nation are being disciplined for reading their Bibles, talking about their faith publicly and encouraging others to live a moral lifestyle. And just saying the name of “Jesus” at the wrong place or the wrong time while serving in the military is enough to spark a national controversy. We live at a time when political correctness in America is wildly out of control, and thanks to Obama the U.S. military has become one of the most politically correct institutions in our society. Things have gotten so bad that dozens of top officers that did not agree with Obama’s views have been forced out of the military in recent years. The U.S. military is being transformed into an overtly anti-Christian institution, and for those of us that are Christians that is a very chilling development. (Read More…)

The Global Liquidity Squeeze Has Begun

Get ready for another major worldwide credit crunch. Today, the entire global financial system resembles a colossal spiral of debt. Just about all economic activity involves the flow of credit in some way, and so the only way to have “economic growth” is to introduce even more debt into the system. When the system started to fail back in 2008, global authorities responded by pumping this debt spiral back up and getting it to spin even faster than ever. If you can believe it, the total amount of global debt has risen by $35 trillion since the last crisis. Unfortunately, any system based on debt is going to break down eventually, and there are signs that it is starting to happen once again. For example, just a few days ago the IMF warned regulators to prepare for a global “liquidity shock“. And on Friday, Chinese authorities announced a ban on certain types of financing for margin trades on over-the-counter stocks, and we learned that preparations are being made behind the scenes in Europe for a Greek debt default and a Greek exit from the eurozone. On top of everything else, we just witnessed the biggest spike in credit application rejections ever recorded in the United States. All of these are signs that credit conditions are tightening, and once a “liquidity squeeze” begins, it can create a lot of fear. (Read More….)

The First Patriots’ Day

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, go from us in peace. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!” —Samuel Adams (1776)

Fellow Patriots,

Sunday, April 19th, is the 240th celebration of the first Patriots’ Day. It was this day in 1775 that the “the shot heard round the world” was fired in the first battles between British regulars and American Patriots at Lexington Green and Concord’s Old North Bridge. It is notable that this seminal battle occurred because the government was en route to seize the Patriot militia’s powder and weapons.

I invite you to take a moment and read about the first Patriots’ Day

1929 Preacher Prophesies Judgment on America

    Posted: 19 Apr 2015 06:15 AM PDT

1929 Preacher Prophesies Judgment on America“Civilization and society rest on morals. Morals rest on religion. Religion rests on the Bible and faith in God and Jesus Christ.” Those were the words of Billy Sunday, who was a famous professional baseball player in the 1880s before he accepted God’s call as an evangelist. Sunday was just as influential in the church world as he was in the sports world, and we would do well to remember his words today. Indeed, morals rest on religion and religion rests on Bible and faith in God and Jesus Christ. But civilization and society at large are rejecting morals, religion and Christ.  Sunday saw an epidemic of immorality back in 1929 that lit a fire under him and anyone who would listen to his theatrical preaching. In a YouTube video called “Billy Sunday Burns Up the Backsliding World: Whirlwind evangelist swings into action at Boston,” Sunday had a warning for America. MORE

The Three Heavens paints a vivid picture of how this supernatural war between light and darkness affects the world today … and the world to come. “The Three Heavens takes you on an exciting journey into the supernatural with real-life accounts of those who have experienced heaven and come back to declare its splendor,” Hagee said. “And it gives readers clear insight how angels assigned to protect and defend you continue fighting an ages-long battle against Satan and his demonic forces.” The Three Heavens begins looking up … to the first heaven that we see with our natural eyes; the beautiful, mysterious, majestic universe of the sun, moon, stars and other celestial objects. Hagee’s clear, engaging writing also carries readers to the third heaven—Paradise, a place of eternal splendor. Western nations begin criminalizing cash purchases to track citizens in manufactured ‘war on terror’Posted: 18 Apr 2015 07:55 PM PDT

Western nations begin criminalizing cash purchases to track citizens in manufactured 'war on terror' Never letting a good crisis go to waste, the European country of France has announced that it will soon implement restrictive new measures on anonymous cash withdrawals and purchases in the wake of the widely publicized Charlie Hebdo attacks. Claiming that the freedom to use non-trackable currency facilitates “low-cost terrorism,” French Finance Minister Michel Sapin contends that the people of France will have to forego even more of their liberties in order to keep everyone safe — Hoorah! In order to fight the manufactured “war on terror,” residents of France will now be prohibited from making cash purchases of more than 1,000 euros, down from the current limit of 3,000 euros. Converting euros to other currencies will also be reduced to 1,000 euros, down from the current 8,000-euro limit. The goal is to force everyone into using only trackable payment systems like credit cards, which allow government spying and surveillance of people’s purchasing habits. And this major invasion of personal privacy, claims Sapin, is absolutely necessary to beat all them terrorists! “It’s a terrorism that is low cost to carry out but has major impact,” Sapin, a traitor to his own country, is quoted as saying by Reuters. “This low-cost terrorism feeds on fraud, money laundering and petty trafficking.” MORE

U.S. government ships possible Ebola patients to hotels with no biohazard safeguardsPosted: 18 Apr 2015 07:45 PM PDT

U.S. government ships possible Ebola patients to hotels with no biohazard safeguards Eleven people who may have been exposed to Ebola while working in West Africa have been brought back to the U.S., not to be admitted to high biosafety hospitals for careful monitoring but to be haphazardly housed in hotels and other unprotected places near these hospitals. Reports indicate that one of the individuals had “potential exposure to the individual being treated at NIH,” referring to the latest U.S. Ebola patient, who is reportedly now in critical condition, currently undergoing treatment at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Four individuals who are believed to have had “more exposure than the others” to the NIH Ebola patient will isolate themselves in “housing” located on the campus of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and the remaining six will be flown into Washington, D.C., and later be shipped out to either either NIH or Atlanta, where Emory University is located. The 11 individuals will all end up near one of the three medical facilities supposedly equipped to handle Ebola patients — the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, the National Institutes of Health in Maryland, or Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. But none of them will actually be admitted to any of these hospitals. MORE

Greece begins selling assets, could nationalize banks, as government scrambles to find cash – “Grexit” crisis heats upPosted: 18 Apr 2015 07:05 PM PDT

Greece begins selling assets, could nationalize banks, as government scrambles to find cash - "Grexit" crisis heats up The weakest nations in the Eurozone continue to get weaker, financially, and it seems there is no end in site as the entire continent’s economy remains moribund, save for industrial Germany. Nowhere is the economy worse than in Greece, where the socialist government has threatened to nationalize the country’s banks and cease payments on a bailout loan made just a few years ago to keep the it solvent. As reported by Britain’s Telegraph newspaper, in addition to bank nationalization, the government is making drastic plans to introduce a currency — the old drachma — parallel to the euro in order to pay its bills, unless the EU steps up, again, to ease its repayment demands. The paper further reported: Sources close to the ruling Syriza party said the government is determined to keep public services running and pay pensions as funds run critically low. It may be forced to take the unprecedented step of missing a payment to the International Monetary Fund. Syriza strode into power last year by promising to end the strict budgetary austerity imposed on Greece as a condition of getting a financial bailout of about $250 million in 2012. “We are a Left-wing government. If we have to choose between a default to the IMF or a default to our own people, it is a no-brainer,” said a senior official, The Telegraph reported. “We may have to go into a silent arrears process with the IMF. This will cause a furore in the markets and means that the clock will start to tick much faster,” the source continued. MORE

New Testament Being Repeated In IsraelPosted: 18 Apr 2015 06:58 PM PDT

New Testament Being Repeated In IsraelThey call it the “Kaduri Revival” and reports over recent months have confirmed the teachings of one of Israel’s most venerated rabbi are leading Jews time and again to accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah. And face persecution. Baptist preacher and radio host Carl Gallups says the situation facing Messianic Jews right now in Israel is “reminiscent of what we read about in the New Testament – in the early days of the church.” There, he said, Jews accepting a Christian faith were persecuted. And today, they “are facing the same hardships and persecution the early church faced,” he said. “Gallups is the author of “Final Warning: Understanding the Trumpet Days of Revelation,” which cracked the top 100 bestseller list on Amazon as a growing number of political leaders and media commentators are openly speaking about the end times. But Gallups believes one of the least-reported aspects of this discussion is the rise of Messianic Judaism in Israel. One of the key figures in this movement is Messianic Jewish Rabbi Zev Porat of Messiah of Israel ministries. Porat won another convert over Passover when a Jew named Yechezke proclaimed his belief in “Yeshua,” or Jesus. Yechezke stated, “This is my first real Passover. Now I know that Yeshua is the Passover Lamb.” Porat explained, “Yechezke’s salvation on the Feast of Passover is yet another confirmation that we are closer than ever to the return of our Lord and Savior Yeshua the Messiah.” MORE

Dry Wells Plague CA as Drought Has Water Tables PlungingPosted: 18 Apr 2015 06:46 PM PDT

Dry Wells Plague CA as Drought Has Water Tables PlungingNear California’s Success Lake, more than 1,000 water wells have failed. Farmers are spending $750,000 to drill 1,800 feet down to keep fields from going fallow. Makeshift showers have sprouted near the church parking lot. “The conditions are like a third-world country,” said Andrew Lockman, a manager at the Office of Emergency Services in Tulare County, in the heart of the state’s agricultural Central Valley about 175 miles (282 kilometers) north of Los Angeles. As California enters the fourth year of a record drought, its residents and $43 billion agriculture industry have drawn groundwater so low that it’s beyond the reach of existing wells. That’s left thousands with dry taps and pushed farmers to dig deeper as Governor Jerry Brown, a 77-year-old Democrat, orders the first mandatory water rationing in state history. “The demand we’re placing on the aquifer and the deep bedrock drilling, which is going on at an alarmingly fast pace, is really scary,” said Tricia Blattler, executive director of the Tulare County Farm Bureau. “Folks are really concerned we’re not going to be able find water in the groundwater system much longer. We are tapping it way too quickly.” MORE

RFID tracking system to replace license plate?Posted: 18 Apr 2015 06:34 PM PDT

RFID tracking system to replace license plate? Until recently our auto travels — in public — have been essentially private. Scattered individuals may have observed our locations at given moments, but the bulk of our public movements have been practically obscure. Nobody collected data in a systematic or useful way, and our movements were lost to history. That is no longer true. Public and private entities are scanning license plates, snapping photos of our cars, and storing the times and locations where they appear. Close correlation between license plate numbers and particular drivers means that databases of mundane information about auto movements also reveal quite sensitive information about doctor and psychologist visits, business meetings, trysts, gatherings of legal advice and participation in political advocacy. License plates and cameras are, as I testified to Congress more than a dozen years ago, “Big Brother infrastructure.”License plates are a once-sensible administrative tool that today undercuts privacy. It’s possible to protect privacy and administer traffic laws at the same time, but it’s not going to be easy.Surveillance cameras are catalyzing this conversation about “privacy in public,” but the root of the problem is the lowly license plate. It’s an administrative tool from a bygone technological era that has new consequences in the digital age — new, strongly negative consequences for privacy. MORE

Putin warns Israel against selling arms to UkrainePosted: 18 Apr 2015 06:27 PM PDT

Putin warns Israel against selling arms to UkraineRussian President Vladimir Putin warned Israel against supplying weapons to the Ukrainian government, which is battling a Russian- backed insurgency in its eastern province. “This is a choice, a choice of the Israeli leadership; they have the right to do what they consider appropriate. I think it is counterproductive, if it concerns lethal weapons, because it will only lead to yet another swirl of confrontation, to more human casualties, but the result will be the same,” Putin said in an interview on Rossiya 1 TV on Saturday. His words were reported as well on the English-language news website for Sputnik International. In Israel, the Prime Minister’s Office and the Defense Ministry had no response to the report. Israel has been upset by Russia’s decision last week to lift its five-year ban on the sale of the S-300 anti-missile system to Iran and to deliver those weapons by the end of 2015. It had voluntarily halted the sale of the weapons to Iran in 2010 under pressure from the West and because it was believed that such a ban would help sway Iran to enter negotiations over its nuclear program. As Lake Mead Levels Drop, The West Braces For Bigger Drought Impact

Posted: 17 Apr 2015 08:50 PM PDT

As Lake Mead Levels Drop, The West Braces For Bigger Drought ImpactThe historic four-year drought in California has been grabbing the headlines lately, but there’s a much bigger problem facing the West: the now 14-year drought gripping the Colorado River basin. One of the most stunning places to see its impact is at the nation’s largest reservoir, Lake Mead, near Las Vegas. At about 40 percent of capacity, it’s the lowest it’s been since it was built in the 1930s. “Just to see the rings around it, it’s just … kind of scary, you know,” says Darlene Paige, a visitor from New York. She’s standing at a vista point above the Hoover Dam on the Arizona side of Lake Mead. That “ring” is the infamous bathtub ring around the rim of the reservoir. The levels have dropped 140 feet over the past 15 years, exposing a white stain on the gravelly brown mountains above the water. The level is forecast to fall an additional 10 feet by this summer. The snowpack in the Rocky Mountains, where the Colorado and much of the Southwest gets most of its water, is again at less than half of normal this year. “There are a lot of people, entities and critters that rely on this Colorado River water,” says Rose Davis, spokeswoman for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. Farther down the mountain, on a walkway next to the Hoover Dam, Davis points out the 10-story-high towers that used to be mostly underwater. The lake’s levels are nearing a critical trigger where the Bureau of Reclamation will start rationing water deliveries to Nevada, Arizona and parts of California. MORE

Citi Economist: Time to Abolish CashPosted: 17 Apr 2015 08:42 PM PDT

Citi Economist: Time to Abolish Cash We often focus on the fact that abolishing cash abolishes the last remnants of financial privacy. But of course, abolishing cash also increases the Fed’s ability to manipulate the economy. Bloomberg reports that Citi economist Willem Buiter has called for the end of paper currency based on the benefits such action would bring to central banks. Specifically, the existence of cash limits a central bank’s ability to manipulate the ecomomy with negative interest rates: In a new piece, Citi’s Willem Buiter looks at this problem, which is known as the effective lower bound (ELB) on nominal interest rates. Fundamentally, the ELB problem comes down to cash. According to Buiter, the ELB only exists at all due to the existence of cash, which is a bearer instrument that pays zero nominal rates. Why have your money on deposit at a negative rate that reduces your wealth when you can have it in cash and suffer no reduction? Cash therefore gives people an easy and effective way of avoiding negative nominal rates. However, if you abolish cash, there is no escape from negative interest rates. All your money must be in an institution that can then punish you for saving any cash. There are half-way measures such as taxing currency, too. MORE

Deny Christ or Remain Behind Bars: American Pastor Imprisoned in Iran Standing Firm Despite ThreatsPosted: 17 Apr 2015 08:11 PM PDT

Deny Christ or Remain Behind Bars: American Pastor Imprisoned in Iran Standing Firm Despite ThreatsAn American pastor imprisoned in Iran is reportedly being threatened that he will not be freed from prison until he denies his faith in Christ and returns to Islam. As previously reported, Saeed Abedini, a former Iranian Muslim turned Christian, left Iran in 2005 and moved to the United States with his wife and two children to find religious freedom after facing conflict with authorities for planting house churches in the county. In 2012, he traveled back to Iran to build an orphanage and visit his parents—and was about to return to the states—when he was taken into custody. Abedini was later charged with threatening the national security of Iran, and for attempting to turn youth in the nation away from Islam and toward Christianity. He was then sentenced to eight years in Iran’s notorious Evin Prison, where he has spent the past two years behind bars. In November 2013, Abedini was transported to Rajai Shahr Prison, which was believed to pose an even greater threat to Abedini’s health and safety. Last May, while obtaining treatment at a local hospital for injuries sustained from beatings, he was likewise beaten and returned to prison. MORE

MORE

Students At Christian University Facilitate AbortionsPosted: 17 Apr 2015 08:00 PM PDT

http://www.lifenews.com/2015/04/17/students-at-christian-university-run-abortion-doula-project-to-facilitate-abortions/You have to swallow hard when you read statements like this from a student at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. Julie Vermeulen is a member of the “Wesleyan Doula Project,” which she fancies as a kind of bridge between the abortion clinic staff and the pregnant woman. “I think that everyone deserves compassionate care, basically,” Vermeulen told the Wesleyan Argus, the student newspaper. “And this is obviously a political issue, but I really see it as a humanitarian issue. So whatever your politics are, I think that good, compassionate care is a human right. I think as doulas, we help make that happen.” The project members stress that every case is different. Some women are nervous, some wonder if God will “hate” them after they abort their child, others cry, still others are guilty. “I remind them, ‘This is a choice that you’re making,’” Camille Casareno told assistant features editor Max Lee. “It’s a good choice, if that’s what she had thought before. And it’s the right choice for her family, if it’s the right choice for her.” (Doublespeak anyone?) Lee informs us But the role of the doula is not constrained to talking. Much of the job is about physical comfort and helping the patient through the procedure with as little pain as possible. … As with all of the members of the Wesleyan Doula Project, she also helps patients breathe, as failing to breathe properly increases muscle tension in the patients and ultimately makes the procedure more painful. Thousands of Iraqis flee as Islamic State makes gains in Sunni heartlandPosted: 17 Apr 2015 07:54 PM PDT

Thousands of Iraqis flee as Islamic State makes gains in Sunni heartlandThousands of families fleeing Iraq’s western city of Ramadi choked checkpoints leading to Baghdad on Friday, after an Islamic State advance spread panic and left security forces clinging to control. A column of traffic several vehicles wide snaked for miles at a checkpoint in Sadr al-Yusufiyah, on the edge of Baghdad province, as minibuses, cars and trucks picked up families who crossed by foot carrying their possessions in bags and wheelbarrows. Suhaib al-Rawi, the governor of Anbar province, of which Ramadi is the capital, described it as a human disaster on a scale the city has never witnessed. U.S. and Iraqi officials have warned that the city is at risk of falling to the Islamic State despite seven months of airstrikes by U.S. planes in Anbar. Such a loss would be a serious blow to Iraq’s government, which recently announced a military campaign for the province after retaking the militant stronghold of Tikrit, and to the international effort to push back the militant group, whose gains in Ramadi have demonstrated an ability to create chaos even while under pressure. While America Sleeps, Obama’s Militarized Police State Now Nearly CompletePosted: 17 Apr 2015 07:49 PM PDT

While America Sleeps, Obama's Militarized Police State Now Nearly Complete“THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE. AFTER THIS, THERE IS NO GOING BACK. YOU TAKE THE BLUE PILL AND THE STORY ENDS. YOU WAKE IN YOUR BED AND YOU BELIEVE WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BELIEVE. YOU TAKE THE RED PILL AND STAY IN WONDERLAND, AND I SHOW YOU HOW DEEP THE RABBIT-HOLE GOES.” – OK folks, put the blue pill down and take the red one. It’s time you woke up to reality. The America we live in is under tyranny. We are monitored and controlled at nearly every turn and the chains are getting tighter every day. We have heard how the Occupant has been fighting every attempt by Congress to vote on whatever nuclear arms deal is made with the insane Mullah’s in Iran. Captain Tee-Time is not used to being accountable to anyone, but now Senate is proposing legislation that some experts are warning rewrites the treaty provision of the Constitution. Under the Constitution, the president has the power to negotiate international treaties, with the requirement that two-thirds of the Senate concur for any treaty to be ratified. Such a supermajority (67 votes) was designed by the nation’s Founders to prevent one person or a single body from wielding dangerous levels of power. We’ve heard how Senator Bob Corker has proposed a bill that basically demands Obama abide by the Constitution on this Iranian agreement. However, today we find out that isn’t the case at all. The bill he is pushing will actually make Obama’s power grab easier! MORE

Iran sending armada of ships towards YemenPosted: 17 Apr 2015 07:43 PM PDT

Iran sending armada of ships towards YemenU.S. military officials are concerned that Iran’s support for Houthi rebels in Yemen could spark a confrontation with Saudi Arabia and plunge the region into sectarian war. Iran is sending an armada of seven to nine ships — some with weapons — toward Yemen in a potential attempt to resupply the Shia Houthi rebels, according to two U.S. defense officials.  Officials fear the move could lead to a showdown with the U.S. or other members of a Saudi-led coalition, which is enforcing a naval blockade of Yemen and is conducting its fourth week of airstrikes against the Houthis. Iran sent a destroyer and another vessel to waters near Yemen last week but said it was part of a routine counter-piracy mission. What’s unusual about the new deployment, which set out this week, is that the Iranians are not trying to conceal it, officials said. Instead, they appear to be trying to “communicate it” to the U.S. and its allies in the Gulf. It is not clear what will happen as the convoy comes closer to Yemen. Saudi Arabia has deployed ships around Yemen to enforce the blockade, as has Egypt. An official said the ship convoy could try to land at a port in Aden, which the Houthis have taken over. Although the U.S. is assisting with the Saudi-led air campaign, it is not participating in the naval blockade of Yemen, said U.S. Central Command spokesman Col. Pat Ryder. However, the U.S. Navy is in the region and has already “consensually boarded” one Panamanian-flagged ship in the Red Sea on April 1 on the suspicion it was illegally carrying arms for the Houthis. US government allows powerful corporations to sell California water with no permits or reporting during droughtPosted: 17 Apr 2015 02:29 PM PDT

US government allows powerful corporations to sell California water with no permits or reporting during drought With water being our most precious commodity, you would think that government officials would be keeping very close tabs on its usage, especially in states like California where drought conditions are now entering their fourth year. However, Governor Jerry Brown is just now cracking down on state municipalities, attempting to get them to cut back on their water usage by 25%. With California’s agricultural industry being one of the largest consumers, and almond growers alone using 1.1 trillion gallons of water a year, it’s easy to understand why the public outcry would be directed at Big Ag. These farmers need to be held accountable for their usage when growing our food and should be penalized when they go over their limits! I’m not giving up my long, hot showers and garden for a high-priced bag of almonds! Hold up. Your anger may be misdirected. With the focus squarely on the agricultural industry, beverage companies have been allowed to silently bottle public water with very little oversight. In fact, water bottle companies like Arrowhead require a permit to extract water from public land, and they have been without a valid permit since 1988! According to The Desert Sun, Nestle’s permit to transport water across the San Bernardino National Forest for bottling has also been expired since 1988. The U.S. Forest Service has indicated that they will make it a priority to reassess the permit and possibly impose some restrictions due to the severe drought. FULL REPORT

Laodicean Apostate Tony Campolo Says He’s Starting ‘Evangelicals For Hillary’

Hillary supports abortion-on-demand, including even late-term, partial-birth abortions.

Apostate evangelical Tony Campolo has long been a teacher of questionable doctrine. He is much more in line with the New Age than he is with the New Testament. In Campolo’s book Partly Right the New Age philosophy of pantheism and man is divine is heavily promoted:

We affirm our divinity by doing what is worthy of gods, and we affirm our humanity by taking risks only available to mortals. God had to become one of us before He could become heroic … Robert Schuller affirms our divinity, yet does not deny our humanity … isn’t that what the gospel is? Isn’t God’s message to sinful humanity that He sees in each of us a divine nature of such worth that He sacrificed His own Son so that our divine potentialities might be realized? … The hymn writer who taught us to sing “Amazing Grace” was all too ready to call himself a “wretch” … Forgetting our divinity and over-identifying with our [Freudian] anal humanity [Freud is responsible for a host of maladies that plague our contemporary society] … Erich Fromm, one of the most popular psychoanalysts of our time, recognized the diabolical social consequences that can come about when a person loses sight of his/her own divinity …”

We could go on, but the above quote is certainly sufficient in establishing his false doctrine. This is what he has to say about Hillary Clinton and why Christians should  vote for her:

“Some of my Evangelical friends raise questions about her views on abortion. But Hillary Clinton is one of the few candidates on the political stage who has a plan for cutting the abortion rate in America by at least 50 percent.

I know Hillary Clinton to be a committed Christian. As a teenager, Hillary’s religious beliefs were heavily impacted by hearing a sermon by Martin Luther King, Jr. The youth pastor of her Methodist church mentored her through her teenage years into being the kind of holistic Christian who faithfully engages in the spiritual disciplines of Bible study and prayer. As a Senator, Hillary was one of the most faithful attendees of the Senate’s weekly prayer meetings.

Given all that I have stated, I am more than willing to do all I can to help Hillary Clinton get elected. Should she ask me to organize an Evangelicals for Hillary committee, I would be more than willing to do so. I believe in her. And you should too.” source

Why Christians should not vote for Hillary Clinton under any circumstances

As a failed Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton presided over and supported the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, completely ruined relations with Russia, was complicit in the Benghazi Coverup, and in 2015 is embroiled in the private server email scandal. She supports abortion-on-demand, including even late-term, partial-birth abortions. She supported the Obama Administration’s efforts to force Christian employers to provide employees with abortifacients. And now she’s opposing religious freedom laws remarkably similar to the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) her own husband signed into law. source

Egypt Files Suit Against Barack Obama And Hillary Clinton For Conspiring With Muslim Brotherhood

The Egyptian complaint reads that “Barack Obama assisted the Muslim Brotherhood in crimes against Egypt and it’s citizens”

“Let his days be few; and let another take his office.” Psalm 109:8 (KJV)

My favorite expression about Barack Obama is “Everything is calculated.” I read comments and commentaries about how inept he is — that he does not know what he is doing. Ha! Obama knows exactly what he’s doing.

Remember when BHO went on the apology tour right after he was elected in 2008? Remember when he told world leaders that America had been involved in too many countries affairs and deserved the name “The world’s policeman?”

egypt-files-suit-against-barack-obama-hillary-clinton-for-working-with-muslim-brotherhood

How in the world do you think that the so-called Arab Spring came about? Obama was a major player in this, and his Puppetmaster, George Soros, supplied the money. The plan was to destabilize the Middles East, and rid the Arabic countries of their secular governments, and replace them with the Muslim Brotherhood. That was the plan.

His diabolical plan backfired in Egypt. Not only was his great buddy, Mohamed Morsi, ousted, but he was incarcerated in 2012. He still sits in a jail cell to this day.

Egypt also jailed many members of the Muslim Brotherhood, and made it a crime to be part of this terrorist organization. Think about this: Obama has hosted the Muslim Brotherhood in the White House on several occasions. He has not hidden this from the press.

This is so serious to the Egyptian government, that Obama and Hillary Clinton have formal charges filed against them in Egypt.

“In two separate criminal complaints, Egyptian lawmakers have charged Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton with conspiring with the Muslim Brotherhood.”

According to one of the criminal charges, Hillary Clinton was found to be working with ousted Muslim Brotherhood president Mohammed Morsi’s wife, Naglaa Mahmood, in attempting to overthrow the current leader of Egypt, General Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi.

But this is just the tip of the iceberg.

WHAT’S SO BAD ABOUT THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD?

History of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt (1939-1954)

Links to the Nazis began during the 1930s and were close during the Second World War, involving agitation against the British, espionage and sabotage, as well as support for terrorist activities orchestrated by Haj Amin el-Hussaini in British Mandate Palestine, as a wide range of declassified documents from the British, American and Nazi German governmental archives, as well as from personal accounts and memoires from that period, confirm. Reflecting this connection the Muslim Brotherhood also disseminated Hitler’s Mein Kampf and The Protocols of the Elders of Zion widely in Arab translations, helping to deepen and extend already existing hostile views about Jews and Western societies generally.

In November 1948 police seized an automobile containing the documents and plans of what is thought to be the Brotherhood’s `secret apparatus` with names of its members. The seizure was preceded by an assortment of bombings and assassination attempts by the apparatus. Subsequently 32 of its leaders were arrested and its offices raided. The next month the Egyptian Prime Minister, Mahmud Fahmi Nokrashi, ordered the dissolution of the Brotherhood.
On December 28, 1948 Egypt’s prime minister was assassinated by Brotherhood member and veterinary student Abdel Meguid Ahmed Hassan, in what is thought to have been retaliation for the government crackdown. A month and half later Al-Banna himself was killed in Cairo by men believed to be government agents and/or supporters of the murdered premier. Al-Banna was succeeded as head of the Brotherhood by Hassan Isma’il al-Hudaybi, a former judge.

In 1952, members of the Muslim Brotherhood are accused of taking part in arson that destroyed some “750 buildings” in downtown Cairo — mainly night clubs, theatres, hotels, and restaurants frequented by British and other foreigners — “that marked the end of the liberal, progressive, cosmopolitan” Egypt.

The Brotherhood supported the military coup that overthrew the monarchy in 1952, but the junta was unwilling to share power or lift martial law and clashed with the Brotherhood. [2] – source

BARACK OBAMA AND HILLARY CLINTON – MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD MEMBERS

It does not take a rocket scientist to clearly see that BHO and Hillary are Muslim Brotherhood operatives. People – we ARE the frogs in the pot of water, which is heated very slowly as we happily hop around. The water get a tiny bit hotter little by little. Then, without seeing it coming, we are boiled and destroyed.

It may be too late already

It most certainly may be too late for us. By that I mean that America has turned her back on God, and is so immersed in gross, unspeakable sin, that God’s judgment IS Barack Obama, and possibly Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016.

Those of us who belong to God must pray for America. Even though it looks so bleak, our Father is waiting to hear from us:

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

The Rapture Trap?

The real trap isn’t rapture timing – it is the neglect of the gospel message.

Tragically, many mainstream churches are abandoning fundamental Christian principles in favor of diversity issues. Think about the social gospel, same-sex marriage capitulation and denial of inerrancy. What about those who spiritualize Christ’s resurrection, deny sin, hell and the Trinity? What about Universalism, Ecumenism and Inter-Faith Dialogue?

Material Dimensions of Spiritual Friendship

The need for intimate friendship and the practices that foster it is all the more pressing in our day and age, as our culture has not only drained friendship of its public social benefit but placed a variety of economic, technological and political counterweights against it. The local church can be a place to nurture this Christ like love, but first we must take full stock of all these counterweights and intentionally devote ourselves to balancing our lives such that they are less important than the places that we live and the people who live in them. Friendship can be an abundant source of Christ’s love– but we must cultivate our ecclesiological and cultural environments so that it can flourish.

Worship Implies A Theology

“Over the last decade or so, we’ve seen a few lasting effects from the now-moribund emergent church movement. Not every church and not every leader pursues these forms equally aggressively; and not every church or leader is even aware that he is doing so.”

Promoting Baby Buying and Selling

by Bill Muehlenberg

Many parts of the world are finally waking up to the great evils of human trafficking, and are starting to take action against it – and rightly so. This nefarious trade involves the selling of people – mainly women and children – to gratify the lusts of adults.

But there is another type of human trading going on which many people actually think is just peachy. I refer to commercial surrogacy. This is all about the manufacture and selling of babies to gratify the wants of adults. In both cases human beings are treated as mere commodities, bought and sold like stocks and bonds.

The Daily Discovery (April 18-19, 2015)

When truth tellers are no longer “on fire” – “A friend of mine recently stated, ‘if a Christian is unable or unwilling to exercise discernment, there is no way they can do apologetics.’ I am finding that in an increasing number of cases leaders who were once able are becoming unwilling. The ways of the world and the desire to be liked have all but doused and drenched the fire in the bellies of those who once contended strongly for Biblical truth.”

7 Unbiblical Statements Christians Believe – “We don’t often stop to consider the magnitude of what the Bible represents. It is literally God revealing Himself and communicating Himself to mankind in written word.  Orthodox Christianity teaches that the Bible was inspired and authored by the Holy Spirit of God using human instruments. And many Christians believe that—in its original languages of Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic—it is without error and fault.”

Rick Warren’s Imagination Doctrine – Another dangerous teaching from Rick Warren.

A Pledge of Convictional Civility – “An interesting commentary on modern-day debating.”

What is the difference between Justification and Sanctification? – “The theological climate in the “visible church” today has taken on the characteristics of a free-for-all. Most professing believers’ Bible knowledge is extremely shallow. On top of that we are also in a period of intellectual barbarianism which is marked by relativism. This causes the truth to be perceived as unknowable. Those holding this form of thinking refuse to believe that there is such a thing as absolute truth. In this intellectual climate it is little wonder that false prophets and false teachers can lead so many astray simply by saying what people want to hear. “

Dual or Conflicting Citizenship?
Apr 17, 2015 06:30 am | Mike

America has been a shining light of freedom for nearly 250 years.  As citizens, we have been blessed by the freedom to worship, the freedom to speak our minds and the ability to work hard and become successful. Christians in America hold “Dual Citizenship”:  We are permanent citizens of the eternal kingdom of God on […]

SUFTT’s mission is to educate, empower and connect Christians to understand what the Bible teaches us about the times in which we live. We believe the Bible is clear that in the latter days the world will grow increasingly hostile toward God and His Word, and that deception will increase, causing some professing Christians to […]

Scoffers have the last word?
Apr 15, 2015 12:16 pm | A. S.

It seems that our society and our culture has shifted from respecting people’s rights to free speech and faith practices, to out and out mocking and silencing Christians. Joining us on air to discuss our freedom of speech is Elijah Abraham who travels around the world preaching the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ alone.  […]

Progressive Christianity
Apr 13, 2015 08:50 am | A. S.

Today we are looking at Progressive Christianity. It is an incredibly dangerous movement, and quite frankly, it is the yeast that has taken the Church away from the truth and toward a more tolerant, sin-affirming direction that is muddied with mushy theology. How can you tell if it has seeped into your church? And if […]

The so-called “Family Values” Christians

C.H. Spurgeon on the Perseverance of the Saints

“Oh, how I love that doctrine of the perseverance of the saints!” So said Spurgeon in regards to this final of the five points of Calvinism.[1] This is the sixth article in the series “C.H. Spurgeon on the Doctrines of Grace,” which discusses Spurgeon’s views on Calvinism as seen in his preaching and writing. The …

This Week in Calvinism – April 17, 2015

  • Does Calvinism discourage evangelism? What do you think?
  • According to Roger Olson, hyper-Calvinism is consistent Calvinism. I know. Big surprise.
  • Erik Raymond on faithfully delivering the gospel.
  • When Spurgeon almost quit.
  • Regarding how Calvinism makes a practical difference in his life, Steve Matthews writes:

Knowing that it is God who elects, that he is the potter and I am the clay, makes it much easier to have compassion on a fellow sinner than if I believed I was saved because some superior wisdom, intelligence or goodness inherent in me. For then I would have something in which I could boast before God. It is the Calvinist who can say with Paul, “But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Galatians 6:14). To God alone be the glory.

Some Here, Some There — April 17, 2015

by Dan Phillips. Here you go. Updates until noon, TX time.

  • Is the doctrine of substitutionary atonement a later invention, unknown to earlier Christians after the close of the Canon? Michael J. Kruger both says and shows “no.”
  • Here’s one Borg who not only is not in despair over the world’s increasing attempts to assimilate Christians; indeed, he finds it cause of hope and optimism, observing that “Persecution has always proved fruitful to the church.”
  • So, I guess R. Scott Clark is arguing that the fact that The World-Tilting Gospel emphatically lays out the distinctions between justification and sanctification in Biblical terms rather than explicitly leaning on a confession… I’ll probably eventually end up Socinian? Hm. Well, yeah, I’ll be sure to watch out for that.
  • I don’t take it personally; assume Clark hasn’t read the book. Other confessionals such as Lig Duncan found it useful. But, anyway.
  • Clarification: I add this Saturday, without changing the wording of the previous two bullet-points. It was already clear I wasn’t suggesting that Clark was interacting with TWTG, per se. Insofar as Clark is warning (to quote his later tweets to me, which I appreciate) against “reading Scripture by itself, by one’s self, or reading Scripture as if no one has ever read it before,” I quite agree. That spirit generally indicates a foolish unteachable arrogance often condemned in Proverbs and elsewhere. Both over-dependence on confessions, and arrogant unconcern for them and previous great students of Scripture, are dangers.
  • Over at Practical Shepherding, brother Brian Croft asks (and answers) “How do I encourage my pastor?” They’re good pointers. I’d add one more: join your pastor in loving and serving the local church of Christ that he loves and serves. Become a member, attend all the meetings you can, get to know your fellows, love and encourage and exhort them, serve. Join him in trying to practice the preached word. Nothing is more encouraging (3 John 4 — walking!).
  • Last week, we noted how The Gospel Coalition seems to have strayed from its stated raison d’être by reaching out to pagans to figure out what to do about racism. Over at the DBTS blog, brother Mark Snoeberger notes more within this mission-drift, suggesting that perhaps TGC should rename itself The Coalition for the Advancement of Realized Eschatology.
  • A hard trajectory to watch, to be sure; but not hard to understand. TGC stops its ears to Gospel-loving critics not on the clubhouse in-list, and only shows much passion in sneering off the same. Who does that leave?
  • Denny Burk offers some good thoughts (hey, I said “Denny Burk”) on reparative therapy.
  • I like Denny, it’s no secret. He’s a solid Biblical scholar and thinker, and he’s a real guy. For instance, that same blog today has Denny’s top ten things he loved about the new Star Wars teaser trailer.
  • Over at Cripplegate, Jesse J. slaps leather and deftly exposes Westboro Baptist Church for what it really is.
  • The irony that, in the video Jesse’s pastoral associate is out on the street, preaching the gospel, behind the Westboro folks who are protesting that Jesse’s church doesn’t preach the gospel on the street — thus not in any way doing what Jesse’s church is at that moment doing.
  • That 99% Charismatic Fringe Update #1 — horrible story: a (A) female “pastor” (b) who hears God talking to her apart from Scripture (c) in a Pentecostal-affiliated church (d) starves a two-year-old to help drive a “demon” from him.
  • That 99% Charismatic Fringe Update #2 — horrible eisegesis.
  • But yeah, everyone was right to criticize Strange Fire and ignore Sufficient Fire. No real need for either. Move along. Bring on the dancing bears.
  • I may be over-subtle. One of the biggest LOTR fans I know didn’t catch the Aragorn-speech allusion that opened this sermon on the person and work of the Spirit.

Vatican struggling to keep up with exorcism demand

“Traditionally there are certain signs that often accompany true cases of possession,” the priest said, “things that are difficult if not impossible to explain otherwise.” These signs include aversion for sacred objects, the sudden ability to speak languages that the person has never studied or had contact with, the movement of objects with no physical cause, sharp changes in mood that are not attributable to psychological reasons, and other such things, he told Breitbart.

Just Tell the Truth

We can make things far too complicated. We can make things far too dependent upon our own work instead of the Lord’s. John MacArthur looks at Mark 4 and says, “Just tell the truth.”

Look, all I can do is tell the truth. All I can do is speak the truth. I can’t take care of the results. I can’t give life. It’s mysterious, just like to the farmer to us. The only human act is to plant the seed and wait…and wait, go to sleep, it’s all God’s work. First Corinthians 3 says, “God gives the increase.” Life and growth is a divine operation. You must be born from above, John 3. Not of the will of a man…of men, not of the will of flesh, John 1:12, but of God. Listen to it this way, no human being contributes to the regeneration, conversion, justification, salvation process. All we can do is tell the truth. The seed is potent, the gospel is the power of God unto salvation, Romans 1, the soil when prepared by God will receive it and once God makes it grow, I love this part of the little parable, when it begins to grow, it does not stop until it is harvested…first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head and then the harvest. What God begins He completes, right? Philippians 1:6, “Whoever begins a good work in you will perform it until the day of Christ.”

This is a critical lesson, by the way, to all evangelical manipulators and clever marketers who think they can make people believe. No human being no matter how persuasive, no matter how clever, makes a contribution to regeneration, conversion or justification. All we can do is give the truth. We can’t change hearts and we can’t produce life from dead people. That’s something the Lord alone does. “No man comes to me except the Father draws him.” And once He begins to draw him, then it’s the blade, then it’s the ear, then it’s the full grain. It needs to be drummed into the heads and hearts of all Christians who have been seduced by the contemporary lies, that if we just get better at marketing the gospel, we can be more convincing and we can convince people to be saved. Just tell the truth.

I hate to tell you this, music doesn’t have anything to do with it in terms of style. The content of what is said and sung in music may bring the gospel, convey the gospel. But it’s not about mood, it’s not about music, it’s not about invitations, it’s not about any human effort. We don’t do God’s work with human means.

Perspective is Key

I recently received an email from a missionary couple in our congregation who serve in a large country in Africa. The wife of this couple who wrote us was telling us how her husband had been arrested and falsely accused so that the government of the country in which they serve could get bribe money–a fairly common practice in this country when it comes to Western missionaries. After telling us about the heartache and grief that they have endured, she mentioned that they were reading the book of Acts when he was arrested. After he was released and is now awaiting a court decision, this beloved sister in Christ mentioned that when her husband was released and returned home he said to her, “I wasn’t beaten like Paul and Silas. Perspective is key.” This is a phrase that I have found myself saying over the past several months. It’s all about perspective. As I consider the many discontent and complaining spirits of both ministers and people alike in the church in America, I wish that I could take this couple’s situation and words and etch them on the hearts of us all. Here are seven thoughts on perspective that will help us stay the course in ministry and to learn contentment:

The Mental Health Church

Leading the Charge!

“Mental Illness Will Affect Families in YOUR Church in 2015.  Are You Prepared?”
Leadership Network e-mail, April 2, 2015

Ever since Kay Warren’s husband, the famous Rick Warren of “purpose-driven” fame, launched his “Daniel Plan” a few years ago there have been concerns that his “health” agenda for the church would expand into “mental health.” It appears from the above promotion that this is indeed happening. What role does Warren envision for the church in promoting “mental health”? It is more than meets the eye.

This blog, along with our research friends Warren Smith[1] and Berit Kjos,[2] previously published articles exposing how Rick Warren was relying on openly New Age doctors to tell Christians how to become mentally, spiritually and physically “healthy.” Review the following articles we posted at the time:

Warren Smith’s booklet is downloadable file HERE

Thus the Daniel Plan was always intended to be much more than just a mere diet plan. It was a comprehensive mental, physical and spiritual “health” program. Warren Smith described the New Age spirituality inherent in Rick Warren’s healthcare model in his booklet Rick Warren’s Daniel Plan:

The Bond Servant

bondservant

A Bible Study by Jack Kelley

Paul, a bond servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, and set apart to the gospel of God (Romans 1:1).

Most translations of Romans 1:1 use either slave or servant in defining Paul’s relationship with the Lord, but the phrase “bond servant” is actually the most accurate. In effect, a bond servant enters into the relationship voluntarily with the understanding that it’s a lifetime commitment, with no provision for release.

Can I Be Forgiven?

Q&A-chalkboard

Q. I have never asked this question before or told anyone about this, but it haunts me daily. Do we know how or about what we will be judged? I know it says not by our works and that we will have eternal life if we believe. I do believe and I am a good faithful and practicing Christian woman but when young I went through what was probably post- partum depression and abused my baby.

This baby is an adult now and has had a drug problem most of his life, but is saved and a believer too. I feel very guilty. I cannot imagine that I would be forgiven for this sin against an innocent child. Even the Bible says that “woe be unto those who harm them”. So what is your advice for me? I don’t just want comfort, just the truth.

Can We Live Forever?

Q&A-chalkboard

Q. I’m in an ongoing debate with a friend of mine (who is a preacher) about healing. According to him, we never need to die, as we merely need to come to the realization of who we are in Christ. Once we have done that, we would be able to heal ourselves (and probably everybody around us), and would not have to die.

My question is: what do I say to him? He is very much trying to “convert” me to his beliefs. (Not that it will affect either of our eternal lives, as we’re both born again, Spirit-filled Christians.) I guess I’m just tired of the debate.

GTY Blog: The High Calling of Submission

Ephesians 5:22-24

Code: B150417

by John MacArthur

The word submission conjures ugly images and even uglier reactions in our “liberated” modern culture. The concept of submission is now popularly associated with weakness, defeat, and oppression.

It is easily forgotten that Christ’s submission to His Father, “to the point of death” (Philippians 2:8), not only demonstrated an immense feat of human strength, but is also the blueprint for Christian living (cf. Philippians 2:1–11). And the family unit is one of the greatest proving grounds for believers to put that submission on display.

But how can we submit to one another in the context of a family while still recognizing the God-ordained roles of headship and authority? That is the subject Paul addressed in Ephesians 5:22–6:4. Since submission epitomizes the character of the person who is truly Spirit-filled, Paul outlined how mutual submission should work in a family.

He wrote under the Holy Spirit’s guidance, of course, so this was not merely the apostle’s private opinion (2 Peter 1:20–21). God Himself inspired the very words of the text (2 Timothy 3:16). Paul spoke here to wives, husbands, children, and parents, in that order. And the admonition to wives is simple, covering just three verses:

Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything. (Ephesians 5:22–24)

It is important to remember that Paul did not begin by singling out and consigning wives to a second-rate status. There’s a sense in which everyone in the church must submit to everyone else as Paul clearly stated in the preceding verse. Ephesians 5:22 simply explains how wives ought to show their submission.

Also notice that Paul started and ended this short section by specifying whom wives should submit to: “their husbands” (Ephesians 5:24). “Their husband” suggests that the wife should willingly make herself subject to the husband who is her possession. Husbands and wives belong to each other, and thus have unique responsibilities to each other which they do not have to anyone else (cf. 1 Corinthians 7:3–4).

Women as a group are not made serfs to men in general, and men aren’t automatically elevated to a ruling class over all women. But Scripture calls each woman to submit in particular to her own husband’s headship. In other words, the family itself is the primary arena in which a godly woman is to cultivate and demonstrate the attitude of humility, service, and sacrifice called for in Ephesians 5:21.

Furthermore, the command is general and sweeping. It’s not limited to wives whose husbands are fulfilling their function. It’s not addressed only to wives with children, wives of church leaders, or even wives whose husbands are faithful believers. It’s categorical and unconditional: wives. Anyone who fits that classification is obligated to obey the command of this verse by submitting to her own husband.

What, precisely, does this command require? The Greek word for “subject” or submit (hupotasso) means “to line up under.” It has the idea of placing oneself in a rank lower than someone else. This is the very idea of humility, meekness, and lowliness of mind called for in Philippians 2:3: “Regard one another as more important than yourselves.” In no way does it imply inferiority—it speaks of a functional ranking, not an inferiority of essence.

This is a role that God Himself ordained for wives. In Genesis 3:16, God said to Eve, “Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” On the one hand, marriage is the perfect union of two people who become one flesh (Genesis 2:24). On the other hand, God has clearly ordained that the husband should be head in that relationship. Even nature seems to affirm the proper order. Men normally have the advantage of greater physical and emotional strength, while women usually have a more tenderhearted strength and character that equip them to be a support and encouragement—helpers suitable to their husbands.

I realize that the husband’s headship and the wife’s submission are not popular notions these days. Even in some Christian circles there are movements attempting to overthrow the biblical order and substitute something that is more politically correct. The world wants a more humanistic and egalitarian approach to society: a sexless, classless, artificial equality. Instead of rejecting that philosophy and upholding biblical principles, many in the church have fallen prey to the lies of our age.

But Scripture is both clear and consistent. Every time the Bible speaks about the role of the wife, the emphasis is exactly the same. This is not some chauvinistic private opinion of the apostle Paul, as some have suggested. Nor is it an unclear or ambiguous principle that’s only vaguely suggested in Scripture. Every Scripture that touches on the subject of the wife’s role says essentially the same thing. There is no getting around that biblical fact and, as we’ll see next time, Scripture continually gives clear responses to every major objection.
