Why is China announcing joint naval exercises with Russia in the Mediterranean, so far from home? There’s a global answer connected to the new cool war and China’s interest in responding to U.S. initiatives in the Pacific. The Chinese-Russian exercises also look like a symbolic response to U.S. efforts to strengthen security relationships with China’s Asian neighbors. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s recent visit to Washington is a case in point. Abe has begun a genuine discussion within Japan about whether to amend the pacifist constitution, transforming the country’s self-defense force into something more like a standard military.

Michigan, Texas, Mississippi, California, Idaho And Washington All Jolted By Significant Earthquakes

North America Map - Public DomainDid you know that Michigan was just hit by the worst earthquake that state has seen in more than 60 years?  In recent days, there has been a series of alarming earthquakes all over the United States.  Of course none of these earthquakes was anything like the massively powerful quake that just crippled the entire nation of Nepal, but many are concerned that these earthquakes could be a sign of what is to come.  All over the planet, seismic activity is increasing.  In fact, I recently wrote about how the number of volcanoes erupting right now is greater than the 20th century’s average for an entire year.  At the same time, the surface of the sun has become very, very quiet.  As you will see in this article, there are scientists that link the two.  It is believed that times of very low solar activity have something to do with a rise in seismic activity, and there is one scientist that is claiming that solar activity is declining faster “than at any time in the last 9300 years” right now.  So what does this mean for the future of our planet? (Read More…)

Jihadists Attack Texas Art Exhibit of Muhammad Images

The kind of terror jihadists unleashed when they attacked the Charlie Hebdo office in Paris because the paper mocked Muhammad came to Texas Sunday night. But instead of a massacre, the two attackers were killed by Garland, Texas, police officers. The American Freedom Defense Initiative held an art exhibit and contest for images of Muhammad at Garland’s Curtis Culwell Center. On Twitter, followers of the Islamic State were writing their threats. One wrote last week, “Brothers in Garland Texas Please go to there with your weapons, bombs or with your knives. Threaten your enemies & the enemies of Allaah [sic].” The event was wrapping up around 7 p.m. when suspected jihadist Elton Simpson of Arizona drove up to the event with his roommate and opened fire. The duo wounded unarmed Garland ISD officer Bruce Joiner in the ankle before police officers returned fire. The American Freedom Defense Initiative paid $10,000 to hire 40 officers to provide extra security. President of the group Pamela Geller said in February, “That’s what we call the high cost of freedom.” Indeed, the Garland attack shows how the freedom of expression is protected from an assassin’s veto only with the Second Amendment. Are the Charges Against the Baltimore Officers an Overreach?

The six police officers involved in the death of Freddie Gray have been tried in the court of public opinion and have been found guilty. Marilyn Mosby, who is three months into her job as Baltimore City State’s Attorney, threw the book at the six officers, pinning charges ranging from second degree depraved heart murder to second degree assault to false imprisonment. But those may be inflated charges carried along by the rhetoric of rioters in Baltimore’s streets, as Hot Air’s Jazz Shaw points out. As Mosby said at the press conference announcing the charges: “To the people of Baltimore and demonstrators across America, I heard your call for ‘No Justice, No peace.'” Furthermore, Mosby has connections that may become conflicts of interest. For example, she has a professional and personal relationship with Gray’s family lawyer. The Baltimore City Fraternal Order of Police believed so strongly that an injustice was being committed with Mosby’s overreach on charges, it wrote an open letter. “None of the officers involved are responsible for the death of Mr. Gray,” president of the order Gene Ryan wrote. “To the contrary, at all times, each of the officers diligently balanced their obligations to protect Mr. Gray and discharge their duties to protect the public.” In overcharging the officers, Mosby may have simply embittered a mob that will break out in violence if it doesn’t receive what it demands.

Carson, Fiorina, Huckabee Announce Presidential Campaigns

This is the week for the idealists in the Republican presidential primary, the long shots, the Washington outsiders and the underdogs. Three GOP contenders have stepped out onto the field and, while they face a long climb to become regarded among the front running candidates, their campaigns could influence the party as a whole.

Carly Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard who could become the Right’s answer to Hillary Clinton, announced her campaign from social media. “Our nation is at a pivotal point,” Fiorina said in a video, “We need to restore possibilities for every American regardless of their circumstances.”

Meanwhile, Ben Carson, who was asked to be surgeon general by both George W. Bush and Barack Obama, said he would announce his campaign Monday. “Many people have suggested to me that I should run for president, even though I’m not a politician,” Carson said. “I began to ask myself, why are people clamoring for me to do this? … I’m not 100 percent sure politics as usual is going to save us.”

And former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee will announce his second campaign for president Tuesday. Huckabee is expected to run on his record as governor and his political battles against the Clintons in Arkansas. He’s also likely to pull support from evangelical voters with his strong social conservative stance. With months to go, who knows? Maybe the GOP should pick a Washington outsider, a person who would be a contrast to Hillary Clinton’s baggage. More…

Clinton: Religion Must Surrender to Progressive Ideology

By Arnold Ahlert

There is little question the American Left is arrogant. It is an arrogance suffused with a self-aggrandizing worldview that begins and ends with the simplest premise: You either agree with us, or you’re wrong. But not just wrong in the sense of having a different opinion. Wrong in the sense that you’re a knuckle-dragging Neanderthal at best, or the embodiment of evil itself at worst. In other words, you’re either on board with us, or you’re completely illegitimate.

The above explanation fits Hillary Clinton to a tee. At the sixth annual Women in the World Summit, Clinton brought up one of the Left’s most cherished planks, abortion on demand. “Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth,” she insisted, “and laws don’t count for much if they’re not enforced. Rights have to exist in practice, not just on paper.”

One is left to wonder what denial of access Clinton bemoans. It can’t be Planned Parenthood (PP), an organization whose name completely belies its true function. As its 2013-2014 Annual Report reveals, PP received more than $528 million in taxpayer funds in the form of government grants, contracts and Medicaid reimbursements that accounted for 41% of its total resources. And despite its ostensible non-profit status, the abortion giant has $127 million in excess revenue and more than $1.4 billion in net assets.

Where does the money go? According to a fact sheet disseminated by the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, PP devoted 94% of 2013 “pregnancy services” to performing abortions. Prenatal care and adoption services accounted for 5% and 0.05% of its activities, respectively. Moreover, between the years 2011-2013 for which figures are available, PP performed 988,783 abortions.

PP chair Alexis McGill Johnson and president Cecile Richards couldn’t be happier. “We’ve come a long way since Margaret Sanger was jailed in 1916 for opening America’s very first birth control clinic,” they explained at the report’s release. “Today, 99 percent of sexually active American women at some point in their lives use birth control — and, thanks to Planned Parenthood and the Affordable Care Act, more than 48 million women are now eligible to receive it with no copay.”

Sounds like a boatload of access, at least to “reproductive” health care. Safe childbirth? Not so much, a reality that deeply troubles people of faith — a group with this “crazy” notion that abortion constitutes the wrongful termination of a human life.

Not to worry, though. Hillary has a “solution” for their concerns. “Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will,” she declared. “And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed. As I have said and as I believe, the advancement of the full participation of women and girls in every aspect of their societies is the great unfinished business of the 21st century and not just for women but for everyone — and not just in far away countries but right here in the United States.”

If that sounds like people of faith must either abandon that faith or be considered wholly illegitimate, or “structurally biased” as it were, it’s because that’s exactly what Clinton proposes. In short, you’re either pro-abortion or a “bitter clinger.” That euphemism entered the national zeitgeist courtesy of Barack Obama, whose administration has made it clear that the only thing standing between it and the evisceration of the First Amendment’s Freedom of Religion clause is a 5-4 Supreme Court decision in the Hobby Lobby v. Burwell case. The Court decided corporations with sincerely held religious beliefs are under no obligation to provide a full range of contraceptives — including abortifacients — at no cost to their employees as mandated by ObamaCare.

Yet abortion is only one arena where people of faith are being steamrolled. As Solicitor General Donald Verrilli made clear during oral arguments before the Supreme Court on the subject of same-sex marriage, the heavy hand of government will be imposed on those who refuse to embrace progressive “values.” When asked by Justice Samuel Alito if the Obama administration would be willing to impose penalties on institutions that refuse to abide same-sex marriage, Verrilli admitted as much. “It’s certainly going to be an issue,” he conceded. “I don’t deny that.”

Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins spells out the inevitable, writing, “Translation: If churches, religious groups, schools, or nonprofits won’t surrender their beliefs on marriage, the government will make it hurt.” And regardless of what the Court decides, Justice Anthony Kennedy illuminated the stakes with a simple remark, noting the definition of marriage as between a man and a women “has been with us for millennia.” Therefore, he said, “[I]t’s very difficult for the Court to say, ‘Oh well, we know better.’”

Progressives have no such inhibitions. And that would be fine were it not for the reality that they are determined to forcibly impose their worldview by any means necessary on those who disagree.

How arrogant is Clinton in that regard? As recently as 2013 she opposed same-sex marriage, and in 2004 she called traditional marriage a “fundamental bedrock principle.” How hypocritical? “I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic,” she huffed in 2003.

Not patriotic? Now if you disagree with the leftist onslaught, you’re a homophobic, religiously impaired bigot who must abandon millennia of traditional beliefs — or be deliberately targeted if you don’t.

Live and let live? A concept for which those who profess to be the most tolerant among us have zero tolerance. “Evolving” on issues as Clinton and Obama have on same-sex marriage? Embrace progressive ideology right now or be penalized in every way possible.

A number of Christian leaders are fighting back with a pledge defending traditional marriage. One of their reasons for doing so stands out. “Family is the first vital cell of society, the first government, and the first mediating institution of our social order,” the pledge states. “The future of a free and healthy society passes through marriage and the family.” Anyone else think this is a message that might resonate in Baltimore right about now?

One last thought regarding abortion: Perhaps the debate on the issue might be imbued with far more honesty if the phrase “a woman’s right to choose” included the first choice, as in the decision to have unprotected and/or irresponsible sex leading to an unwanted pregnancy.

Ken Blackwell: “Truth has long since been replaced by ‘narratives’ on the American Left. Rather than discuss genuine issues and objective facts, progressives prefer to make up a politically effective story. It doesn’t matter whether the story is false, as long as it sways the public’s emotions and wins the day. The ends justify the means…. [L]let’s look at one of the patron saints of environmentalism, Rachel Carson. Carson wanted to eliminate DDT, the most effective pesticide for fighting one of the greatest plagues faced by humanity, malaria, because it was weakening the shells of bird’s eggs. So Carson falsified data to convince the public that DDT was carcinogenic. Carson brought about a global ban on DDT, probably saving a few birds, but at the cost of allowing malaria to blind or kill millions of people in the Third World. Carson may not have set out to kill people, but only Mao, Stalin and Hitler are responsible for more deaths during the twentieth century. Yet instead of condemning her, we name schools after her. … [I]t’s difficult to come up with a progressive scientific cause that isn’t founded on lies.”

Insight: “Recognize that government invasion of public power is eventually an assault upon your own business. If some among you fear taking a stand because you are afraid of reprisals from customers, clients, or even government, recognize that you are just feeding the crocodile hoping he’ll eat you last.” —The Gipper

Non Compos Mentis: “Oh, yeah. I got to pay our bills.” —Bill Clinton on whether he will continue giving speeches during Hillary’s bid for the White House (Bill’s earned more than $100 million dollars via speaking gigs. Not to mention he earns a healthy post-presidency pension. But, hey, they’re dead broke!)

Braying Jackass: “In countries in Scandinavia like Denmark, Norway, Sweden, they are very democratic countries. … In those countries, health care is the right of all people; college education and graduate school is free; retirement benefits, child care are stronger than the United States of America. In those countries by and large government works for ordinary people and the middle class, rather than, as is the case right now in our country, for the billionaire class.” —Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders’ vision for America

Village Idiots: “We need the Justice Department to step in and take over policing in this country. In the 20th century they had to fight states’ rights in — to get the right to vote. We’re going to have to fight states’ rights in terms of closing down police cases.” —Al Sharpton

Race bait: “There is no need to recall Whites Only signage or sheet-clad KKK members. The facts show white people acting routinely to harm, demean, and damage black and brown people. … The bottom line is that it’s everyday whites making everyday choices that lock in and protect white privilege.” —Tony Brown, sociology professor at Vanderbilt University

And last… “Ben Carson announces, challenging Marco Rubio & Ted Cruz. Democrats offer two old white people. Tell me more who is the party of diversity.” —Twitter satirist @hale_razor

Is God’s Judgment Coming?

Posted: 04 May 2015 07:20 AM PDT

“For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now…Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress.” Matthew 24:21 Psalm 107:19

This past Spring, Joel Rosenberg and I taught through the book of Joel as we led a prophecy seminar at The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove. It was my privilege to give the first two messages that covered Joel 1:1 through Joel 2:17. The impact on me was profound. Both times, when I stepped off of the platform, I knew God had spoken. The messages almost made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Why? Because God was clearly warning that His judgment is coming on America and on our world, and it’s going to be ugly. I knew it then, and I know it now. I believe Jesus is soon to return to take all of His followers to Heaven with Him in what is referred to as The Rapture. While this will be deliverance for His people, can you imagine the impact on our nation, let alone the world, when suddenly every single authentic Christian disappears?

Institutions will collapse. Banks will close. The Stock Market will plunge. Planes will fall out of the sky. Cars will crash on the road. Government in America at every level will disintegrate. Families will be torn apart. In the unprecedented turmoil, our nation will be vulnerable for our enemies to seize the moment and attack us. There will be mass chaos, confusion, fear, grief, despair, anger, threats, danger… judgment. But just as God allowed the Israelites, His people, to go through three of the ten plagues He sent in judgment on Pharaoh and Egypt in Exodus 6-8, God may allow His people today to go through a time of distress and trouble before The Rapture takes place. I believe we are in that time now. I believe it’s time to not just pray. It’s time to cry out to God on behalf of our nation and our world. MORE

The Truth About Jade Helm They Don’t Want You to Know

Posted: 04 May 2015 07:16 AM PDT

A mainstream news station contacted Infowars requesting information about Jade Helm, to which David Knight responded in extreme detail, but the station ignored the facts he provided and spun concerns over the controversial military drill as “paranoid.” “When KVUE contacted me and we spoke verbally, they said they were looking to do a fear vs. fact piece,” Knight said, who spent 30 minutes on the phone with the Austin, Texas, station and e-mailed them extensive information about Jade Helm. “I tried to give them the facts, but ABC apparently wanted to emphasize the fear, label it ‘paranoia’ and ignore the facts.”

But in the interest of giving the public full access to the facts regarding Jade Helm, instead of allowing mainstream media to bury them to the government’s benefit, we have published below the e-mail exchange between Knight and KVUE, which the station never used in its reporting.

KVUE: 1) If Jade Helm 15 is not a training exercise, what do you believe Jade Helm 15 is? Why? Where are documents/proof?

David Knight: There’s been a concerted effort to deliberately misrepresent what we’ve said. Thank you for being one of the few outlets to contact us for comment. Most articles have proceeded to build a strawman and then tear it apart.

We first reported on Jade Helm on March 22. The Drudge Report picked up the story and the Jade Helm document but establishment media ignored it until this week. There has been a media frenzy mischaracterizing our concerns in the last couple of days. Here are some of our responses: MORE

A spokesman for U.S. Central Command (Centcom), which oversees American-led airstrikes against the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL), told reporters that that the jihadist group was on the defensive and losing territory in Iraq. Air Force Col. Patrick Ryder, a Centcom spokesman, briefed reporters last Friday on U.S. operations against ISIS, discounting the terrorist group’s ability to mount major attacks. “When you look across the entire battle space and look at where ISIL was last summer and look at where ISIL is today, [they] continue to be on the defensive in Iraq and they’re losing territory,” Air Force Col. Patrick Ryder, a Centcom spokesman, told reporters.

“While initial reports may sometimes give the impression [ISIL is on the offensive], we see no evidence that they’re able to do so,” he added. Fast forward to a week later: some news reports are painting a different picture. Various news outlets are reporting that ISIS has seized most of the Baiji oil refinery, the largest in Iraq, located north of Baghdad in Salahuddin province. The extent to which ISIS controls the facility varies, an Iraq Oil Report article mentions that the terrorist group controls 80 percent of the compound while Spanish news agency EFE reports that 60 percent of the facility has fallen to the control of the jihadists. Ebola virus remains in survivors’ semen six months after recovery

Posted: 04 May 2015 07:02 AM PDT

Ebola could be sexually transmitted as much as six months or more after a patient has fully recovered from the disease, the World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have now warned based on recent findings. Until further notice, the agencies said, Ebola survivors should make sure they use safer sex practices, such as those effective at protecting against the transmission of HIV. The ongoing Ebola outbreak in West Africa is the deadliest the world has ever seen, having already claimed more than 10,600 lives.

The major route of contagion has been thought to be direct contact with the bodily fluids of infected patients or the bodies of those killed by the disease. However, sexual transmission has previously been accepted as a possibility, and prior recommendations were for Ebola survivors to abstain or use protection for three months after testing negative for the disease. The new recommendations were spurred by the case of a Liberian woman who recently became sick and died of Ebola, the first new case of Ebola in that country in three weeks. She had not been in contact with any Ebola patients or the bodies of anyone who had died from the disease. It was later discovered, however, that her boyfriend was an Ebola survivor. She had been in contact with him after his blood tested free of the deadly virus six months ago in September. MORE

Catastrophic California drought causing infestation wave of rodents looking for water

Posted: 04 May 2015 06:57 AM PDT

As California’s climate fades to desert, rats are coming out of their hiding places in search of water. They are coming out to parks to steal water from dog bowls and attacking horse troughs in desperate need of something to drink. They are finding new ways into homes and becoming a menace like never before. Pest control specialists are seeing a new wave of rodents this year, and it’s not just because it’s their normal breeding season. “It’s a very busy time especially with the drought situation,” said Kevin Carpenter with Good Earth Pest Control. Rats are reportedly finding spaces a small as the width of a thumb through which to squeeze into homes.

Since they need at least an ounce of water a day to survive, rats are taking over any place where water is left unattended. Houses that aren’t protected are becoming an oasis for rats seeking shelter from the growing desert conditions. “They’re moving to homes where people might have pets or water features, bird baths, that sort of thing in search of water,” said Carpenter. Carpenter said the rodents will even go as far as to climb trees that are hanging over houses. “Those rodents will climb right up. They’re excellent climbers and they will climb right up the trees and drop down on the roof,” he said. He recommends that homeowners cut off any branches that could give rodents an overhead entry onto any household roof. MORE

At least 5 earthquakes strike San Francisco Bay Area on SundayPosted: 04 May 2015 06:45 AM PDT

UPDATE – Residents of the San Francisco Bay Area were a bit startled when they felt the ground beneath them shaking from at least five earthquakes on Sunday, officials said. Scientists said a 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck near Concord, a suburb located about 30 miles northeast of downtown San Francisco, at about 2:15 p.m. local time Sunday.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the movement, though, could be felt by much of the Bay Area — though experts described the sensation as a quick jolt. About 10 minutes earlier, a 2.5-magnitude tremor struck that same area — which was followed by quakes measured at magnitudes of 2.7, 2.4 and 1.6 within the next 45 minutes. The seismic events shook buildings and homes, mostly in the East Bay region — which lies west of the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Bridge — but no injuries or damage were initially reported. The USGS measured the earthquakes about nine miles underground. Thousands of Bay Area residents reported feeling the series of tremors to the USGS’s reporting website and wrote of the shaking on social media channels. NATO starts anti submarine exercise in North Sea as tension with Russia risePosted: 04 May 2015 06:40 AM PDT

NATO launched one of its biggest-ever anti-submarine exercises in the North Sea on Monday, inviting non-member Sweden for the first time, amid increasing tensions between Russia and its northern neighbors. More than a dozen vessels from 11 countries are participating in the “Dynamic Mongoose” exercise. NATO will simulate detecting and attacking submarines in one of the most hostile seas, with rugged but shallow underwater canyons, rapid currents and unusually high sound pollution from freshwater pouring in from Norway’s fjords.

Tensions have run high since Russia annexed part of Ukraine last year, with the three small Baltic states, who also rely on the Nordics for defense, fearing they may be next as they are home to big Russian minorities. Finland detected an unidentified submarine along its coast last week, firing depth charges at the vessel, while NATO-member Latvia, a former Soviet state, last month said it detected a Russian submarine near its waters. Russian aircraft have also repeatedly approached and even violated Nordic and Baltic airspace in recent months, challenging air defenses and triggering allied responses. Magnitude 5.8 Earthquake Strikes Wanaka, New Zealand Region

Posted: 04 May 2015 06:27 AM PDT

People fled into the street in Wanaka as a magnitude 5.8 earthquake shook the lower South Island. The 5.8 magnitude quake at 2.29pm was located 30km northwest of Wanaka. It was at a depth of 4km. Buildings in Queenstown and Wanaka were swaying for several seconds. A second and lighter shake followed 10 minutes later. It was located 20km west of Wanaka at a depth of 11km and was a magnitude 3.4. Apart from being “very noisy” the earthquake didn’t topple over one bottle, said Super Liquor Wanaka duty manager, Cris Johnston.

She said they had pellets stacked up high, and not one toppled over. “We were very lucky,” she said.Stephanie Botha, who lives Tarras, east of Wanaka, said the earthquake “sounded like a freight train”. “Not a rolling one,” she added. “A rattling one.” Botha is a new mother and said she was unsure whether she should grab her baby and run out or wait for it to pass. By the time she got under the door frame with her baby, the earthquake had passed. “The house sounded like a money tin,” she said. She had been through a few earthquakes but this was the first time she had felt nervous, she said. There was no damage at her house. China overtakes Mexico as top source of immigrants to USA

Posted: 04 May 2015 06:18 AM PDT

Move over, Mexico. When it comes to sending immigrants to the U.S., China and India have taken the lead. China was the country of origin for 147,000 recent U.S. immigrants in 2013, while Mexico sent just 125,000, according to a Census Bureau study by researcher Eric Jensen and others. India, with 129,000 immigrants, also topped Mexico, though the two countries’ results weren’t statistically different from each other. For the study, presented last week at the Population Association of America conference in San Diego, researchers analyzed annual immigration data for 2000 to 2013 from the American Community Survey.

The mandatory annual survey conducted by the Census Bureau asks where respondents lived the year before. Researchers counted as an “immigrant” any foreign-born person in the U.S. who said they previously lived abroad, without asking about legal status. (So while the data include undocumented immigrants, it may undercount them.) A year earlier, in 2012, Mexico and China had been basically tied for top-sending country—with Mexico at 125,000 and China at 124,000. It isn’t just China and India. Several of the top immigrant-sending countries in 2013 were from Asia, including South Korea, the Philippines and Japan. MORE

Tropical system could form off Florida

Posted: 04 May 2015 06:13 AM PDT

An area of low pressure will move into the Bahamas over the next couple of days, prompting the National Hurricane Center to issue a Special Tropical Weather Outlook. As the low moves slowly northward, it could begin to gradually acquire subtropical characteristics as early as Thursday or Friday, the NHC said. Officials said there’s a 30 percent chance of formation through the next five days. “The low will stay weak and continue to move to the north, likely staying off the coast of Florida into the end of the week,” Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. “The low moving along the coast later this week could actually bring some dry air and lower rain chances for Central Florida by the end of the week.”

Rain chances will be minimal Monday in Central Florida. “A few showers along the coast will try to move inland, with most of them dying out as they encounter dry air,” Bridges said. “Moisture will increase throughout the atmosphere Thursday, with the rain chances at 30 percent Tuesday and Wednesday.”Temperatures will warm into the low 80s for most areas Monday and Tuesday afternoon. The average high temperature in Orlando is 85 degrees. MORE

Is 2015 The Year We See Mind-Numbingly Major Political And Prophetical Changes?

This whole being a ‘watchman on the wall’ business is difficult because we’re usually the bearers of bad news.

“Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye princes, and anoint the shield. For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.” Isaiah 21:5,6 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: We understand that, dispensationally, signs, miracles, wonders and visions are not for the Church. We are commanded to walk by faith and not by sight. But having said that, things are beginning to get really strange, not just in America, but all over the world. We are so close to the Rapture that it is like we are living in overlapping dispensations. We present this story for your consideration.

We see things on the horizon that are dangerous and we’re called by Almighty God to shout our warnings regarding the destruction to come. If we wimp out or get lazy and fail to do so, the Bible says the blood of those we didn’t warn will be on our hands. Oh joy.

I have a lot of information to give you. Some is prophetic and some are substantiated facts. I want to lay out what I’ve found, along with the sources of my information and let you come to your own conclusions. I will give you my opinion, but what you do with all of this is up to you. Let’s get started.

There are those who strongly believe that the gifts of the Spirit, such as prophecy, ceased to exist after the early church. I will not debate this issue. I know what is happening currently with hundreds of thousands of Christians all over the world, and they are claiming to be receiving words, messages, visions and dreams from the Lord about what is shortly to come upon this earth.

This includes the dozens upon dozens of testimonies from former Muslims in Middle Eastern countries who have had visions of Jesus that were so clear and convincing, they converted to Christianity, despite knowing they could be killed for their decision. These things are happening.

When you listen to or read what messengers have received, it goes without saying that one must exercise great, prayerful discernment. There are without a doubt, a load of kooks on the internet and YouTube. However, I trust the sources that I have cultivated for myself over the last 8 years, and they are all in agreement with one another in their messages.

Besides, the Bible is very clear that the Lord God promised to pour out greater understanding on His servants in the last days. If you have any doubt we are in the final seconds on God’s prophetic time clock, please stop reading and get back under the rock you’ve been living under. You’re completely clueless. Go on now. Go back to sleep.

For the rest of you, this is where it gets very interesting and rather concerning.

Many of you have already heard of the federal government’s military exercise called Jade Helm 15, scheduled to occur from July 15 thru September 15, 2015. The document below is from the US Army Special Operations Command, and explains that “Jade Helm is a challenging 8-week joint military and interagency Unconventional Warfare exercise” to “improve the Special Operation Forces’ UW capability as part of the National Security Strategy.”

This is an unprecedented, multi-state exercise which will include elite Special Forces from every branch of our armed forces, along with “interagency” personnel, A/K/A, state and local police, as well as the FBI and DEA. Good thing the cops have been loading up on used military equipment for the last several years!

Please review the official document describing this event in this link here. It will open up a PDF file we would like you to consider.

The “conspiracy theorists,” a group to which I am regularly accused of belonging, are going nuts over this event! They are concerned that this is a precursor to the government declaring the martial law we all know is coming. Are their fears founded? Well, let’s see what else the feds have been up to.

This month, Reuters reported that the NY Federal Reserve started moving quite a few of its resources from New York City, to its satellite office in Chicago. This is out of concern over future natural disasters, like Hurricane Sandy, which flooded Lower Manhattan.

4/8/15 The North American Aerospace Command (NORAD) and the US Northern Command, which scans the North American skies for enemy missiles and aircraft, is moving its operation into Cheyenne Mountain, a mountain shelter left over from the Cold War. The Pentagon announced a $700 million dollar contract with Raytheon Corporation to oversee the move, to safeguard the command’s sensitive sensors and servers from a potential EMP attack.

In a bizarre “coincidence” that seemingly corresponds with the timing of Jade Helm, Wal-Mart suddenly closed 5 of its Supercenters on Monday, April 13th for “plumbing problems.” Really?? That’s the best excuse they could come up with? The 2,200 employees laid off were given a 2 hour notice, and were told the stores would remain closed for 6 months. However, Wal-Mart has yet to apply for any plumbing permits in the five cities where the closed stores are located.

Strangely enough, eyewitnesses are reporting that the windows and doors of these Supercenters have been blacked-out, and local police cars are stationed at each entrance as well as the loading docks in the back to prevent anyone from entering the facilities. Some are speculating that the closures are in retaliation against the employees who protested for higher pay. Oh, were it that simple.

In fact, the peculiar Jade Helm 15 military exercises added to the mysterious closings of 5 Wal-Mart Supercenters, all located in states where Jade Helm is to be held, has caught the attention of the Russian Kremlin! Even THEY are questioning these strange happenings.

So what’s up with the Wal-Marts? How could they possibly be connected to some military exercise? Hold onto your hats because I’m about to drag you down the rabbit hole, so deep into the Twilight Zone you’re liable to get a nose bleed. There is no easy to way to say this without sounding insane, so I’ll just spill it: There’s a vast network of tunnels connecting these Wal-Mart Supercenters. It sounds nuts, but it is true.

Years ago, Wal-Mart joined with DHS and the NSA in creating a system of underground tunnels throughout the country, involving hundreds of stores, which they say were designed to protect the homeland and ensure the safety of its citizens in case of nuclear, biological or chemical attack. (If you’re one of the elite, that is.)

The tunnels will also serve as conduits for national defense to rapidly move troops, supplies and armor throughout the nation between strategic locations in the southern portion of America. A former Navy Seal told All News Pipeline reporter, Stefan Stanford, “The tunnels are already in place. They are using the 6 months, which brings us into September (2015), to clear the places out and configure them for supply depots, communication hubs and pre-processing centers.”

There are literally thousands of miles of tunnels crisscrossing the United States, as well as underground rail systems. While Americans were keeping up with the Kardashians and watching scantily-clad contestants on Dancing With the Stars, our government has been building these tunnels, complete with underground military bases and cities, designed to ensure the “continuity of government” during a massive disaster or attack, as well as serve as a type of Noah’s ark for the Globalist elite and their families.

And these tunnels and cities are being stocked like mad with food, water, medical equipment—everything you could imagine to make sure the elite are comfortable and safe in their rocky hideouts while the rest of us face what is coming. Remember the Georgia Guidestones which outlines the Globalist/Illuminati’s plan for their perfect utopia? It involves reducing the entire world’s population to no more than 500,000,000.

So, what do the elite know that we don’t? What is coming upon the Earth in the next few months that may well result in the death of millions of Americans? I will give you my opinion in Part 2 of this article. In the meantime, please take the time to watch the following video. It holds a load of excellent information and has a lot of resources for you to click on at the bottom.

It is time to get right with the Lord. No more playing around with sin, or being lukewarm in your walk.

Time is up. Really.

Prepare For The Long, Hot Summer Of The ‘Black Spring’

The reverberations through the streets of Baltimore have extended far past its borders.

On Friday morning, four days after the most violent civil unrest since the assassination of the Rev. Martin Luther King in 1968, State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby had stood nearby before a bank of television cameras beaming her words live around the world. She announced criminal charges against the officers ranging from assault to murder in the death of Freddie Gray, whose name has become a rallying point against police brutality and socio-economic inequality in American cities.

Organizers billed the big Saturday afternoon demonstration not as a protest of Gray’s death, but a “victory rally” that city leaders have perhaps listened to their cries. Smaller groups of what looked to be several hundred gathered all around the city and made their way through the streets to join the thousands at the main rally.

Chants of “no justice, no peace, no racist police” echoed and crowds of people, black and white, young and old, carried homemade signs calling for peace, as well as printed ones asking for justice. Others wore T-shirts that read, “Black Lives Matter,” a slogan many have taken up in the fight.

The American Civil Liberties Union tweeted Friday that “Black Spring has begun” and called on the protesters to know their rights.

The Gray case is the latest in a string of high-profile killings of black men by police that include Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and Eric Garner in New York City, neither of which resulted in charges against the lawmen.

Unlike Brown and Garner, Gray’s death happened in a majority black city where black elected officials hold the reins of political power and oversee the justice system. The police department is 48 percent black. Even the officers charged are racially split — three white, three black. source

Jimmy Carter Praises Hamas, Says Netanyahu Is Reason Why There Is No Peace

Jimmy Carter: Unlike Netanyahu, the leader of Hamas is really committed to peace

“When thou comest nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it. And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:” Deuteronomy 20:10,12 (KJV)

Former US president Jimmy Carter called Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal a strong proponent of the peace process Saturday, and said he wasn’t meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu because it would be “a waste of time.”

The president, who has been visiting Israel and the West Bank, met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas Saturday but didn’t meet with Netanyahu or President Reuven Rivlin.

He told reporters that he didn’t ask to meet with Netanyahu or his government, and never has, because it would be a “waste of time.” He told Channel 2 in an interview broadcast Saturday that he requested to meet Rivlin, but the president’s office declined.

Israel officials said last week that Netanyahu and Rivlin had refused invitations to meet with Carter, who was described by an Israeli diplomatic source as “a disaster for Israel,” who holds “anti-Israel positions.”

Carter, who cancelled a planned visit to Gaza on this trip, said Saturday he “deplored” criminal acts by members of Hamas, but said he was looking to support moderate members of the group, which he said wasn’t a terrorist organization. source

For a number of years a woman I know, I’ll call her Rachel, has wrestled with giving her life to Christ. She admits she really wants to, but how can she when she’d have to serve a God who allows murderers into heaven and sends “good people” to hell? It would be awkward to have to explain to her husband, family and friends that they’re bound for hell if they reject Christ . . . [Click for more]

Is this Obama’s declaration of war on Christian schools?

Now, however, that or a similar consequence could be facing every Christian college, university or other school in the nation – a threat that was issued directly by the Obama administration.

It came during the oral arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court this week on whether the justices will mandate same-sex “marriage” across the country, as it already has been forced by individual federal judges on more than two dozen states.

Hate the Sin, Love the Sinner?

“My Last Day” — the Jesus Anime

9 powerful minutes of animation that begins with a thief behind bars watching the scourging of Jesus, and it ends with the thief dying next to Jesus, and waking to see Him in a beautiful place.

The dying thief: What was so great about his faith?

There are many acts of extraordinary faith in the Bible. The one that has impressed me the most concerns the dying thief on the cross. We could take the approach that he had nothing to lose, so he decided to cast his lot with Jesus. But this makes absolutely no sense of the text and the context.
In this conversion we have a specific fulfillment of Christ’s first words on the cross. No sooner had Christ spoken the words, “Father, forgive them,” had the Father answered that prayer by turning a once-reviling criminal into a Christ-glorifying saint. While the soon-to-be converted criminal was not directly responsible for Christ’s death, he nevertheless joined with those who were and was thus indirectly addressed when Christ asked for God to forgive “them.”
Christ, the sinless one, was numbered with or counted among the transgressors (Isa. 53:12; Luke 22:37), all of whom have a bigger problem than the day-to-day sins they commit. They hate Christ, the God-man. Anyone who has a master other than the Lord Jesus hates him (Lk. 16:13; Gal. 4:8). That these two criminals loathed him is clearly manifested during the crucifixion: “And the robbers who were crucified with him also reviled him in the same way” (Matt. 27:44).
When the criminal who was converted was doing his worst against Christ, Christ was doing his best for this criminal.
The conversion of the one criminal was most extraordinary and testifies to the power of Christ’s prayer and the grace of God. Why?
This criminal’s faith did not come at a time such as when Christ turned water into wine; or performed miracles, such as walking on water, opening the eyes of a blind man, or raising Lazarus from the dead. No! The criminal believed on the Messiah while he was hanging as one cursed upon a tree. The criminal trusted in and boldly defended the one whose disciples had abandoned him. Jesus was at his lowest when this criminal asked to be remembered in Christ’s kingdom.
When he was on the cross, did anyone publicly cry out, as John the Baptist did, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (Jn. 1:29)? But this is essentially what the dying thief did. Little wonder, then, that Christ should promise him a place in his kingdom: “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise” (Lk. 23:43).
The criminal acknowledged he was guilty; he acknowledged that Christ was not (“this man has done nothing wrong”); he feared God; but, and here is the key: the criminal did not merely want to be in a better place. He wanted to be with Christ in a better place: “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom” (Lk. 23:42). The criminal believed “against all hope”.
Heaven is a better place because that is where Christ is. Everyone wants to go to heaven, but not everyone wants to go to Christ’s heaven. Not so with this criminal: he saw, with his eyes, Christ at his worst; but with the eyes of faith, he believed that Christ would soon be at his best, and so put his faith in a dying king.
Christ is always – always! – willing to save even the most miserable of sinners. A recognition of guilt (Lk. 23:40) and a confidence in him and not ourselves (Lk. 23:42) will always lead to the most assuring truth a sinner can receive: the Savior welcomes such into his paradise!
“One is saved, and we may not despair; the other is lost, and we may not presume.” Spurgeon
