Trump Predicts U.S. Economic ‘Bubble’ Could Soon Burst

There is more economic nastiness out there right now than many in this country think. We’ve had a massive papering over of a very tenuous economy during the Obama years. Now the Fed has moved to slightly raise rates (seems reasonable to us, but we’d prefer that the market set all rates of interest) while much of the rest of the world is slowing – again. China, Brazil, much of Europe, many if not most the commodity driven developing countries,

It’s been a war of attrition waged against those for those of us fighting the expansion of government on the Internet. (And everywhere else really.) We fight, try to raise awareness, shine a light on efforts to erode the 4th Amendment, but the government was always pretty sure it would eventually get what it wanted. Sooner or later there’d be another terrorist attack which raised the fear level. Sprinkle in a little pre-holiday checkoutitis and, viola! CISA.

Are we feeling the first winds of the next large economic storm right now?

hurricane flags cc

Many think that junk bonds now are similar in some respects to the subprime housing debt bulge of a few years ago. (Junk by definition is subprime.) It is possible that the distressed bond market which is seeing challenges currently indicates serious challenges to come in the short term for the economy in general.

Junk bonds are highly exposed to economic trouble (they are distressed debt) and the market is large.

Think of them as a bluff on the economic sea which feels the effects of an approaching storm first in a similar way to how no doc mortgages were the first to be buffeted in 2006/2007.

Los Angeles school board relocating students plagued by methane gas leak

Posted: 20 Dec 2015 06:57 AM PST

A total of 1,900 Students from the Los Angeles Unified School District in Los Angeles, California will be relocating from an apparent gas leak that has sparked hundreds of illness complaints and evacuations. According to reports, The LA school board declared an emergency and authorized relocating students from Porter Ranch Community School and Castlebay Lane Charter School. The move is set to take place after winter break and could last until June.

A staff report cited disruption from absenteeism, visits to the health office and student transfers to other schools. The leak was discovered back in October from an underground well in the vicinity, sending huge amounts of methane into the air, tinged with a foul-smelling chemical. Javier Mendoza, a spokesman for the gas company, told the Los Angeles Times more than 4,500 have asked about temporary housing and about 1,800 have already moved. The LA County Department of Public health determined shortly after that the leak is mostly methane and does not pose a risk to public health. However, residents in the area have reported nausea, headaches, nosebleeds, vomiting and other symptoms. Source

Is Missouri Being Prepared For a Major Terrorist Attack in the Future?

Posted: 19 Dec 2015 08:04 PM PST

If you live in Missouri and follow End Time Headlines you know by now how we have been keeping you up to date with a series of alarming events that have happened in your state. The series of alarming events began with with the FBI launching investigations into countless stolen propane tanks and mass cell phone purchases by Middle Eastern men in different locations in Missouri, and then we learned that back in October of this year a man who was hunting in the Mark Twain National Forest, just 30 minutes from Lebanon,MO was about to set up camp when he discovered a huge cache of “extremely volatile” explosives, which police described to be of a style “that could not be purchased for recreational use.” This suggests that the extensive supply was all homemade pipe bombs or other IEDs, created and collected with a specific plan in mind. The stock was so dangerous that it couldn’t be safely detonated without the help of  the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit (EOD), the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s EOD Unit, and the Waynesville Rural Fire Department,KY3 reported.

We then broke the story of a group of men asking about the Bagnell Dam. revealing that the Middle Eastern men were asking questions about the dam. They wanted to know if they could rent a boat and tour the dam. When we put this together with the other information we have gathered such as the recent report of Bulk Electronic Purchases By Middle Eastern Men Reported In Arkansas.  The report revealed that 2,000 Xbox 360 Kinect sensors were purchased by Two middle eastern men who went through Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma and purchased over $40,000 worth of these xbox accessories from video game stores. Now we have learned that Missouri officials are alarmed by A recent purchase of a large amount of slingshot ammo, similar to BB pellets, and a large amount of replacement box cutter blades purchased at a Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Don’t forget BB’s can be used as shrapnel in a bomb such as we saw used in the Boston Bombings in which authorities discovered similar materials for deadly weapons when detonated!  We now have a pretty solid reason to be concerned in Missouri.  Keep in mind that the White House recently warned that the Islamic State terrorists are a different sort of threat than Al-Qaeda, seeking to inspire small attacks around the world rather than big spectacular operations and “crowdsourcing” terrorism via social media, FBI director James Comey said. Let’s continue to keep Missouri in our prayers as well as our Nation in the coming Months as we need to remain vigilant and alert of our surroundings.

Trump Predicts Economic ‘Bubble’ Could Soon Burst

Posted: 19 Dec 2015 07:32 PM PST

What does Donald Trump know about the economy that we don’t? Does he see an economic collapse on the horizon? According to Bloomberg  Donald Trump spoke at a recent rally and said “Remember the word bubble? You heard it here first,”. Trump made this statement in front of about 1,200 people at a rally Saturday afternoon in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He reportedly went on to say “I don’t want to sound rude, but I hope if it explodes, it’s going to be now, rather than two months into another administration.”

This assessment was made following the unemployment rate on the decline, the Federal Reserve on Dec. 16 raising its benchmark interest rate for the first time since 2006, and after deciding the U.S. economy is now performing well enough that it could make the move.“We could be on a bubble and that bubble could crash and it’s not going to be a pretty picture,” said Trump. Prince Charles Warns Christianity May Be Erased From Mideast Within 5 Years

Posted: 19 Dec 2015 07:02 PM PST

Matthew 10:22 – And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Prince Charles is sounding the alarm about persecution of believers in the Middle East as he has recently come out and warned that Christianity might be entirely erased from the land of its birth in the Middle East within five years.  Charles stated that “Their suffering is symptomatic of a very real crisis which threatens the very existence of Christianity in the land of its birth,” Prince Charles made this statement at the Archbishop House in central London according to reports on Thursday. Prince Charles went on to say  “In fact according to Aid to the Church in Need, which is a truly remarkable organization, Christianity is on course to disappear from Iraq within five years unless emergency help is provided on a greatly increased scale at an international level,”  “This affects us all, consequently the greatest challenge we face is how to ensure the spiritual and cultural heritage of Christianity in the Middle East is preserved for future generations.”

We have seen the flood of media reports of Christians being heavily targeted by the Islamic State terror group across Iraq and Syria in the past two years, and have seen their numbers drop significantly. This isn’t the first time Prince Charles has spoken out against persecution of believers in Christ in the Mideast. He also spoken out on the persecution of Christians throughout the Middle East on a number of other occasions, including back in December 2013 when he said that the situation has reached a “crisis” point. The pledge reads “If elected, I pledge to push for the passage of the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) and sign it into law during the first 100 days of my term as President,”

Conservative group the American Principles Project recently announced that six Republican hopefuls have signed on to their request to sign FADA if elected and to push for its passage. These six Republicans are Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, Dr. Ben Carson, Carly Fiorina, former Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. This leaves out GOP candidates Donald Trump, former Governor Jeb Bush of Florida, Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky who all have expressed support for FADA but did not sign the pledge.  SOURCE

Obama takes credit for Defeating Ebola, Bin Laden, Peace in Iran and the List Goes On!

Posted: 19 Dec 2015 06:34 PM PST

President Obama has claimed credit for “stamping out” Ebola. According to WND In his last press conference of 2015 held on Friday, Obama stated that his leadership, his diplomacy, and most important his belief in climate change all helped craft the Paris climate agreement, and these same leadership qualities stamped out Ebola. It’s amazing how this guy wants to take credit for anything successful such as the removal of Osama Bin Laden but always casts the blame on someone else when things go south!

Obama went on to say  “When I went to Copenhagen, I essentially engaged in 24 hours of diplomacy to salvage from a pretty chaotic process,” he stated. “This would not have happened without American leadership. And, by the way, the same is true for the Iran nuclear deal. The same is true for the Trans-Pacific Partnership. The same is true for stamping out Ebola – something, you guys may recall from last year, which was the potential end of the world. So once again Mr. Obama comes to the rescue for America and the World. SOURCE

(Written By Phil Cooke) A word needs to be said to pastors, writers, artists and other leaders who jump on the bandwagon of “Christian cultural trends.” I’ve seen it most of my life, and I can tell you it doesn’t help in the court of public witness. I remember in the late ’60s when we got on the “Late Great Planet Earth” trend. The incredible success of that book was followed by a long (I mean really long) line of prophecy copycats, few of which offered anything unique and different.

Since that time we’ve had the HUGE trends of gimmicky sermons on sex and marriage, including the sexy marriage retreat phase, the prosperity gospel, the church-bashing trend, the political trend, the boycott businesses that don’t say “Merry Christmas” period and more. (Remember all the Christian “prophetic” warnings about Y2K?) Especially in the Charismatic world, we’re besieged on a regular basis by hysterical “prophetic” announcements about the future of mankind, God’s judgment or the end of the world. The current rage is the “Blood Moons.” Check Amazon.com and you’ll find at least six pages offering Christian books on the “Blood Moons.” Full Report From Church Leaders

Patriot groups fighting to keep Oregon ranchers out of jail say calling forth ‘Militias’ will be next move

Posted: 18 Dec 2015 08:08 PM PST

(Written By J.D.Heyes) Patriotic groups and others fighting to keep two Oregon ranchers – a father and son – out of federal prison because they believe the sentences are unconstitutional, have said that they may be forced to call in militias if local and state officials don’t respond to their “redress of grievance” complaint. “I don’t see this deescalating until [their] rights are restored,” one person familiar with the situation and the redress of grievance told Natural News. As Natural News reported exclusively, Dwight Hammond, 73, and his son Steven Hammond, 46, were convicted in 2012 under a federal anti-terrorism statute, of committing arson on federal land overseen by the Bureau of Land Management. Both were charged in connection with a 2001 fire, and Steven in connection with another fire in 2006.

Though the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996 calls for a minimum sentence of five years in prison, U.S. District Judge Michael Hogan – now retired – gave them lighter sentences because he did not believe they had exhibited malicious intent. Federal prosecutors appealed Hogan’s three-month sentence for Dwight Hammond, and one-year sentence for Steven Hammond – which both had served – because they were far short of the minimum. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals agreed and ordered them re-sentenced in October, which they duly were. Full Report From Natural News

Ron Luce’s Teen Mania Calling it Quits After Financial Collapse

Posted: 18 Dec 2015 08:02 PM PST

After nearly 30 years in ministry, Teen Mania International, a once popular Evangelical Christian youth organization based in Dallas, Texas, announced Thursday that it will shutter operations amid mounting financial struggles. According to the Christian Post the official statement from Ron Luce was

“Katie and I feel this chapter coming to a close, and are grateful to the Lord for all that He has done through those who have rallied around this vision over the years. Together we have taken many risks, climbed many mountains and slayed many giants!”  posted on the ministry’s website.

Teen Mania was started by Luce in 1986 “to reach and inspire a generation to change the world.” In 1991 it established Acquire the Fire which used high-tech and high-impact worship and teaching seminars to reach teenagers and it attracted millions of followers and money. Documents cited in a Christianity Today report note that Teen Mania recorded $23.1 million in total revenue in fiscal year 2001 and by fiscal year 2007 revenue had jumped to $35.6 million.

A downward spiral began however in 2008 when revenue dipped to $20.1 million after a dissatisfied donor canceled a $6 million pledge according to the report. In October World Magazine reported that the ministry was facing multiple lawsuits, including one from Compassion International which is seeking a $174,124.73 judgment. The ministry had also lost half its independent board members and there was an arrest warrant for Luce for failing to appear at a Colorado state district court proceeding. Ex-Defense Chief Hagel Claims White House Attempted To Destroy Him

Posted: 18 Dec 2015 07:53 PM PST

In shocking revelations revealed by NewsMax, President Obama’s former defense secretary Chuck Hagel said he was subjected to backstabbing by those in the White House who sought to tarnish his reputation, even after he agreed to resign.  According to Hagel who said “They already had my resignation, so what was the point of just continuing to try to destroy me?” Hagel revealed this information in a recent interview with Foreign Policy magazine published on Friday.

According to reports Hagel also said he was admonished for describing the Islamic State group as “beyond anything we’ve ever seen” after the jihadists rampaged through large parts of Syria and Iraq last year. The former Defense Chief went on to say “I got accused of trying to hype something, overstate something, and make something more than it was,” Hagel told Foreign Policy.  “I didn’t know all of it, but I knew we were up against something here that we had never seen before. And in many ways, we were not prepared for it.”  According to Hagel President Obama lost international credibility when he decided against attacking Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in 2013.

200 birds found dead near O’Leary’s Lake in Wisconsin

Posted: 18 Dec 2015 07:37 PM PST

JAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, Wis. — An estimated 200 dead American coots recently have been sighted near Dubuque’s Lock and Dam No. 11 on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi River. Fishermen observed the dead birds near O’Leary’s Lake, located near Eagle Point Road, off of U.S. 61/151. Coots are dark-gray to black in color, with a bright-white bill and forehead. Duck-like in many ways, they are members of the rail family in the same avian order as cranes. “They’re not much good for anything.

Some people eat them,” said Carl Hanson, owner of the Eagle Point fishing barge, who saw the dead birds floating in the water. The deaths aren’t that unusual. This is the seventh time since 2002 that waterfowl die-offs have been documented on the upper Mississippi River, and each time prior, trematodes were responsible, officials said. Trematodes are a parasitic flatworm that spends part of its life inside snails. Waterfowl die from trematodes each year, but in years when snail populations are high, mortality rates of snail eaters — American coots and lesser scaup — increase. The invasive faucet snail is an intermediate host for three types of trematodes. FULL REPORT

Our Time is Short

Read: Recommitting Your Life To God and Jesus Christ – Restoration and Forgiveness With God and Jesus Christ (Updated Version)

What is The Gospel?

God made everything out of nothing, including you and me. His main purpose in creation was to bring him pleasure.

The chief way in which we as humanity do this is through loving, obeying, and enjoying him perfectly.

Instead of this, we have sinned against our loving Creator and acted in high-handed rebellion.

God has vowed that he will righteously and lovingly judge sinners with eternal death.

But God, being merciful, loving, gracious, and just, sent his own son, Jesus Christ, in the likeness of man to live as a man; fulfilling his perfect requirements in the place of sinners; loving, obeying, and enjoying him perfectly.

And further, his son bore the eternal judgment of God upon the cross of Calvary, as he satisfied the eternal anger of God, standing in the place of sinners. God treated Jesus as a sinner, though he was perfectly sinless, that he might declare sinners as perfect.

This glorious transaction occurs as the sinner puts their faith (dependence, trust) in the Lord Jesus Christ as their substitute. God then charges Christ’s perfection to the sinner, and no longer views him as an enemy but instead an adopted son covered in the perfect righteousness of his son.

God furnished proof that this sacrifice was accepted by raising Jesus from the dead.

God will judge the world in righteousness and all of those who are not covered in the righteousness of Christ, depending on him for forgiveness, will be forced to stand on their own to bear the eternal anger of God.

Therefore, all must turn from sin and receive Christ Jesus as Lord.

What Is the Gospel?

There is no greater message to be heard than that which we call the gospel. But as important as that is, it is often given to massive distortions or over simplifications. People think they’re preaching the gospel to you when they tell you, ‘you can have a purpose to your life’, or that ‘you can have meaning to your life’, or that ‘you can have a personal relationship with Jesus.’ All of those things are true, and they’re all important, but they don’t get to the heart of the gospel.

The gospel is called the ‘good news’ because it addresses the most serious problem that you and I have as human beings, and that problem is simply this: God is holy and He is just, and I’m not. And at the end of my life, I’m going to stand before a just and holy God, and I’ll be judged. And I’ll be judged either on the basis of my own righteousness–or lack of it –or the righteousness of another. The good news of the gospel is that Jesus lived a life of perfect righteousness, of perfect obedience to God, not for His own well being but for His people. He has done for me what I couldn’t possibly do for myself. But not only has He lived that life of perfect obedience, He offered Himself as a perfect sacrifice to satisfy the justice and the righteousness of God.

The great misconception in our day is this: that God isn’t concerned to protect His own integrity. He’s a kind of wishy-washy deity, who just waves a wand of forgiveness over everybody. No. For God to forgive you is a very costly matter. It cost the sacrifice of His own Son. So valuable was that sacrifice that God pronounced it valuable by raising Him from the dead – so that Christ died for us, He was raised for our justification. So the gospel is something objective. It is the message of who Jesus is and what He did. And it also has a subjective dimension. How are the benefits of Jesus subjectively appropriated to us? How do I get it? The Bible makes it clear that we are justified not by our works, not by our efforts, not by our deeds, but by faith–and by faith alone. The only way you can receive the benefit of Christ’s life and death is by putting your trust in Him–and in Him alone. You do that, you’re declared just by God, you’re adopted into His family, you’re forgiven of all of your sins, and you have begun your pilgrimage for eternity.

The Gospel on 5 Fingers

If you picked up a hitchhiker (not that I recommend doing that) and he saw a Bible on your car seat and said, “I’ve heard about this thing called the Gospel – can you explain it to me before you drop me off in one minute up the street?” What would you say?

Can you explain the gospel in 30 seconds? In one minute? In five minutes?

Here’s one way I have found helpful. The five main components of the gospel can be remembered on 5 fingers of one hand. Here they are:

1) Jesus’ birth
2) Jesus’ life
3) Jesus’ death
4) Jesus’ resurrection
5) Jesus’ ascension

Obviously each point can be elaborated on depending on how much time you have. Here’s the short version:

1) Jesus’ birth – Jesus, God himself, the creator of the universe, the Messiah, became a human being – took on flesh, and was born of a virgin.

2) Jesus’ life – Jesus lived a life of perfect obedience to his Father. Though he was tempted in every way as we are, he never once sinned.

3) Jesus’ death – on the cross, Jesus himself took all our sins and paid for them. God the father counted all our sins to Jesus as if he himself had personally committed them. Then Jesus bore God’s wrath towards sin – the punishment we deserved – as a substitute for us.

4) Jesus’ resurrection – within 3 days, Jesus rose physically from the dead, proving that his sacrifice for sins have been accepted by God, since the punishment for sin was death. Jesus was seen by numerous people after he rose including 500 at one time (1 Corinthians 15).

5) Jesus’ ascension – Jesus ascended physically into heaven where he reigns as King of kings and Lord of lords. And someday he will return to the earth.

That’s the gospel, the good news, and if we believe in Jesus Christ and this good news and call upon him he will save us from our sins and give us eternal life.

That’s a simple way to remember the gospel – five fingers. Even a child can do it. So ask God to give you opportunities to share his good news today.

Ready to start your new life with God?

Who do you think that I am?

With that brief question Jesus Christ confronted His followers with the most important issue they would ever face. He had spent much time with them and made some bold claims about His identity and authority. Now the time had come for them either to believe or deny His teachings.

Who do you say Jesus is? Your response to Him will determine not only your values and lifestyle, but your eternal destiny as well.
