Resource: What is the NAR?


There is a global cult that is emerging in Evangelicalism which has been called the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR). You can read the experiences of other Christians leaving the movement here:

The NAR has continued to evolve in its identity and doctrine, many leaders within the movement attributing it’s connection to the New Order of the Latter Rain (NOLR) in 1948.

Since then, the NOLR has continually been criticized and therefore repeatedly rebranded itself over the decades. These are the most prominent forms from each decade:

  • The New Order of the Latter Rain (NOLR) in the 1940s.
  • The Voice of Healing Movement (VHM) in the 1950s.
  • The Charismatic Renewal Movement (CRM) in the 1960s.
