Rev. Franklin Graham is in a quandary as to what has become of the Democratic Party – especially with its frequently exposed anti-God and anti-America agenda.
The president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) recently took to social media to air his concern about Democrats forcing a county party leader to resign a while back over posting a statement that most Americans would — and should – feel proud to make:
“I stand for the flag, I kneel at the cross,” former United States Marine and Gulf War veteran Mark Salvas declared – to the chagrin of his fellow Democratic leaders, according to WND.
Dems evolving so far left, they can’t be right?
The son of the late iconic evangelist Billy Graham took to social media to back Salvas and shame Democrats for punishing their own party member for making such an honorable declaration.
“I’m not ashamed of my patriotism – not one bit,” Graham expressed on Facebook to his millions of followers, as reported by WND. “I fought for this country. I think I have a right to have a voice and be patriotic.”
The CEO of the Christian humanitarian aid organization, Samaritan’s Purse, went on to reaffirm his support of Salvas and question the motivation taking over the blue party – one that many see as continuing to move farther and farther to the left.
“He’s right,” Graham continued. “What has happened to the Democratic Party?”
Equating loyalty to God and America to ‘racism’
Democratic leaders were noticeably upset and distraught when Salvas publicly proclaimed his personal faith and patriotism as the new chairman of Allegheny County Democratic Party – so furious that they booted him from his position.
“We have a zero tolerance for sexual harassment or racism of any kind,” Democratic Committee Chairwoman Nancy Mills insisted, according to Fox News’ The Todd Starnes Show. “I think Chairwoman [Eileen] Kelly made the right decision once she was aware of the issues.”
While sitting down with the Fox News show’s host, Todd Starnes, Salvas shared how angered Democratic Party leaders were about his wife showing her support in a Facebook post for a police officer who was accused of killing an African American with racist intent.

U.S.—After a rapidly spreading meme compared liberals to mindless, computer-controlled characters from RPGs and video games, liberals across the country all argued against the meme at the same time, chanting, “We are not mindless NPCs” in perfect unison.
Having apparently received a memo from top mainstream media outlets, all liberals around the country dutifully stood up, walked outside, tilted their heads toward the sky, and shouted the slogan for a full minute. “We are not mindless NPCs, we are not mindless NPCs, we are not mindless NPCS” could be heard echoing through the streets of every major metropolitan area in the nation.
Finally, their duty to defend themselves as being freethinkers having been completed, all progressives wandered back inside and awaited instruction from CNN, the Huffington Post, and clips of Saturday Night Liveand Last Week Tonight.
At publishing time, a new directive had been issued for all liberals to chant, “Republicans are mindless Russian bots” for several minutes at the same time.

Middle East Monitor via Reuters
In the column, the Saudi journalist discussed the need for a free press in the Middle East.
“Arab governments have been given free rein to continue silencing the media at an increasing rate. There was a time when journalists believed the Internet would liberate information from the censorship and control associated with print media,” Khashoggi wrote. “But these governments, whose very existence relies on the control of information, have aggressively blocked the Internet.”
Khashoggi called for the creation of an “independent international forum” to allow ordinary people in the Arab world to address “the structural problems” their societies face.
“The Arab world is facing its own version of an Iron Curtain, imposed not by external actors but through domestic forces vying for power,” Khashoggi added. “The Arab world needs a modern version of the old transnational media so citizens can be informed about global events. More important, we need to provide a platform for Arab voices.”
Karen Attiah, Global Opinions editor at The Post, wrote a note at the top of Khashoggi’s newest article:
“I received this column from Jamal Khashoggi’s translator and assistant the day after Jamal was reported missing in Istanbul,” Attiah said. “The Post held off publishing it because we hoped Jamal would come back to us so that he and I could edit it together. Now I have to accept: That is not going to happen.”
Attiah added, “This is the last piece of his I will edit for The Post.”
Khashoggi’s editor said his final article “perfectly captures his commitment and passion for freedom in the Arab world. A freedom he apparently gave his life for.”
Attiah said she’s “forever grateful” she had the chance to work with Khashoggi and he chose The Post as his “final journalistic home.”
Khashoggi disappeared after entering the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on October 2. There’s no footage of him leaving the building.
Turkish officials have accused Saudi Arabia of brutally killing Khashoggi, a Saudi national who often criticized the Saudi government in his reporting.
The Saudi government has vehemently denied these allegations, but after more than two weeks, still hasn’t provided any definitive proof Khashoggi is alive and safe.

Khashoggi had a rich, complicated careerbefore he went missing.
As a young reporter, he traveled to Afghanistan to interview Osama bin Laden, who at the time was among CIA-backed militants fighting the Soviet Union. Khashoggi also covered the Gulf War, and his time as a foreign correspondent quickly propelled him into a successful career as a journalist and editor in Saudi Arabia.
The media industry in Saudi Arabia is strictly controlled by the government, which meant Khashoggi developed close ties to the country’s leadership over the years. He eventually served as an adviser to the royal family.
But he began to fear for his safety last year as Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman moved to consolidate power, arresting fellow princes and businessmen — including friends of Khashoggi.
After he was critical of President Donald Trump and the Saudi government’s apparent trust in the US leader, the royal family barred Khashoggi from writing. Six months later, in June 2017, Khashoggi left for the US.
Prior to his disappearance, Khashoggi split his time between the US state of Virginia, Istanbul, and London, and was a US resident with a green card. He wrote a number of articles for The Washington Post after leaving Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi journalist was weeks away from getting married to his Turkish fiancée, Hatice Cengiz, when he went missing. Khashoggi went to the consulate on October 2 to obtain documents that would allow his marriage to move forward. Cengiz waited outside for Khashoggi for roughly 11 hours, but he never returned.
Khashoggi in the past said he always considered himself a patriot, viewing his criticism of the Saudi government as a sign of his love for Saudi Arabia and a desire for conditions there to improve.
In a recent op-ed for The New York Times, Cengiz wrote, “Jamal was a patriot. When people referred to him as a dissident, he would reject that definition. ‘I am an independent journalist using his pen for the good of his country,’ he would say.”
Cengiz added, “His voice and his ideas will reverberate, from Turkey to Saudi Arabia, and across the world.”
“Oppression never lasts forever. Tyrants eventually pay for their sins.”
Almost half of military service members believe that the US will be dragged into a new war within the next 12 months, according to a Military Times poll, with Russia and China topping the list of likely nemeses.

A Hollywood Reporter and Morning Consult poll says 58-percent of Americans are not interested in the political and social opinions of celebrities they like. Compare that to about 9-percent of people who are strongly interested. Only 24-percent say performers are very or somewhat effective at swaying them politically. Topic: The proven steps to brainwashing of Americans (Part 1 of 2). Today Brannon beings to layout the very specific steps that have been used by the communists to brainwash American prisoners of war during the Korean War. You will hear numerous audio clips from William E. Mayer who conducted a detailed study of 1,000 Korean War Veterans. The study by Major William E. Mayer was released in October of 1956 and revealed how these P.O.W. turned to defending and promoting communism without be persuaded by torture or drugs. So just how were these men in the 1950s convinced to embrace and promote communism and how are these same brainwashing techniques being used today in America to accomplish the same goals? For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes.—John 5:21
By asserting His equality with God, Jesus claimed that He had the parallel power with God to raise the dead—“just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life.” The Bible teaches that only God has the power to raise the dead (Deut. 32:39; Acts 26:8; Heb. 11:19), and the Old Testament records several instances in which He did so (1 Kings 17:17–24; 2 Kings 4:32–37; 13:20–21). Because His power is the same as the Father, Jesus Christ is able to raise the physically dead (John 11:25–44). Moreover, He has the power to give spiritual life to the spiritually dead. “Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him,” Jesus promised, “shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life” (John 4:14).
Unlike Elijah and Elisha, Jesus did not merely act as God’s representative when He raised the dead, but as God Himself. “The Son” Himself gives resurrection and spiritual “life to whom He wishes.” As God is the source of life, so Jesus Christ is the source of life. As God chooses when He gives life, so does the Son choose, in perfect agreement with the Father—a truth illustrated by the salvation of sinners. All whom the Father chose before the foundation of the world to give to the Son will come to him, and He will not reject any of them (John 6:37).
|Is there anything you’ve given up for dead in your own life, barely considering that God could raise it to life again? Even the possibility of victory over sin or the presence of Christian joy can be regarded as hopeless—lost relics from the past. Pray that Jesus would help you experience life anew.|

The recent hack of Facebook compromised the personal information of 30 million people. Here’s how you can delete your account from the major websites and protect yourself against incidents in the future.
Facebook revealed last week that hackers got access to the sensitive personal information of as many as 30 million users, causing many to rush to delete their accounts and protect it from any further breaches.
But Facebook is definitely not the only website on the Internet that has a chock-full of data stored on you.
Even if you were one of the lucky Facebook accounts to be spared (you can check if you were affected here), it’s possible that any of the other major websites, apps, and services — Amazon, Apple, Google, even Snapchat — could be next.
The only way to ensure your sensitive data can’t be compromised is by removing your information from the Internet entirely. In other words, if you’re really worried about protecting your data from any future hacks…now is the time to delete your account.
Here’s how to delete your accounts for many of the major websites, apps, and services:
By deleting your account, you will remove everything you’ve ever put on Facebook— profile information, photos, status updates, timeline posts — but it doesn’t include messages sent via Facebook Messenger.
However, it will take 30 days for your account to actually be deleted. This “grace period” used to be 14 days, but Business Insider reported in early October that Facebook raised it to a month to give users an opportunity to reactivate their account if they get cold feet.
If you don’t want to lose everything you’ve put on Facebook, there is an option to download a copy of all your information. But you have to request this archive before deleting your account, and you’ll have it sent to you via email — if you delete your account before requesting the archive, you’re out of luck.
Twitter maintains a 30-day “grace period” similar to that of Facebook. You have to first deactivate your account, and then wait a month to completely delete your account and all its information.
The option to deactivate is found at the bottom of the “account” page in Settings. Like Facebook, you can also download all your data before deleting your account.
Although Snapchat is a phone app, you’ll need to visit Snapchat’s website on an Internet browser to completely delete your account. Simply removing the app from your phone will not delete your information.
On Snapchat’s website you can access the accounts portal, where you can then log into your account to delete it. Snapchat will also first deactivate your account for 30 days in case you change your mind, and also offers you the opportunity to download your data before you delete your account.
Paul Krugman, who’s wrong about everything, sucked up to Nancy Pelosi as he nervously gushed about what a huge honor it was to sit down and interview her.
At one point, Pelosi stuttered and lost her train of thought as she spoke about the Kavanaugh confirmation.
Nancy Pelosi either forgot Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s name or couldn’t bring herself to say his name.
In the next clip, Nancy Pelosi was asked by Paul Krugman what the Democrat agenda would be if they were to take back the House following the midterms.
Pelosi gave a long-winded answer and mumbled her way through her Democrat talking points about gun safety, LGBT rights, abortion and hey if there’s some collateral damage for Republicans along the way, so be it.
Yes, she really said this.
“If there’s some collateral damage, for some others that don’t share our view, well so be it,” Pelosi said.
Vote red all the way down the ballot–God help us if these violent, lawless Democrats ever regain power again.
Two Minnesota GOP candidates and a Nevada GOP campaign manager were attacked in separate incidents over the last week as some Democratic leaders call for an end to civility in the run-up to the 2018 elections.

“I was so overtaken by surprise and shock, and if this is the new norm, this is not what I signed up for…”
Police say they’ve identified two suspects who allegedly attacked two Republican candidates for Minnesota’s state legislature over the past week – attacks that have helped justify President Trump’s warning that the Democratic Party has become the “party of Mob Rule” in the wake of the widespread outrage and street demonstrations provoked by the confirmation of SCOTUS Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
According to the National Review, Republican state representative Sarah Anderson was punched in the arm last week after confronting a man who was vandalizing lawn signs promoting Republican candidates. Over the weekend, Shane Mekeland, a first-time Republican candidate, received a concussion after he was sucker punched while speaking with constituents at a restaurant in his assembly district.
Republican state representative Sarah Anderson
Anderson said she was terrified by her assailant, who only backed off when she climbed back in her car and drove away.
“It was just insane. He was charging at me, saying, ‘Why don’t you go kill yourself?’ To have someone physically coming after you and attacking you is just disheartening.”
Charges against the suspects, who have not been publicly identified, will likely be filed in the coming days, according to local police. Meanwhile, Mekeland has continued to suffer memory loss and sensitivity to light stemming from the concussion he received during the assault.
“I was so overtaken by surprise and shock, and if this is the new norm, this is not what I signed up for,” Mekeland said.
The attacks occurred in the days after the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party suspended a member of its communications staff for a week after he wrote in a Facebook post that Democrats would [bring Republicans] to the guillotine” during the upcoming midterm election, per the Washington Free Beacon.
Mekeland expressed disappointment with Democrats for not condemning his attacker and for not doing more to punish the communications staffer.
“He’s a political staffer so you’d think if anybody should know boundaries, I think that’d be it,” he said.
Republicans were outraged by the suspension, saying the candidate should have been fired, particularly after Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell warned his colleagues about using inflammatory and divisive rhetoric in the aftermath of the Kavanaugh confirmation vote.
“Only one side was happy to play host to this toxic fringe behavior,” McConnell said Thursday, referencing the raucous protesters that descended on the Capitol during Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing. “Only one side’s leaders are now openly calling for more of it. They haven’t seen enough. They want more. And I’m afraid this is only Phase One of the meltdown.”
McConnell’s comments were inspired in part by Democratic lawmakers Corey Booker and Kirsten Gillibrand. Booker recently urged his constituents to ‘get up in the face’ of Republican politicians, while Gillibrand has derided the Trump agenda as ‘evil’.
Senator Rand Paul has warned that statement’s like Booker’s could be taken to violent extremes by the mentally ill. Paul was present when an unhinged Bernie Sanders supporter opened fire last summer at a Congressional baseball practice, nearly killing House Whip Steve Scalise.
“I think what people need to realize, that when people like Cory Booker say, ‘Get up in their face,’ he may think that that’s OK,” said Paul, who was present when Representative Steve Scalise (R., La.) was shot during a practice for the annual congressional baseball game last year. “But what he doesn’t realize is that for about every 1,000th person that might want to get up in your face, one of them is going to be unstable enough to commit violence.”
Unfortunately, given the politically charged climate and Democrats desperate hopes for taking back the House and the Senate during the upcoming midterms, the US could experience another wave of violent attacks in the run-up to the vote, and another explosion of outrage if Republicans remain in control.

READING: Luke 14-15
“Let’s celebrate with a feast.”
I am amazed by how little we celebrate when God redeems lost people. Those who are spiritually dying, headed to hell, and living in the devil’s kingdom find grace and become God’s children – and sometimes the best we do is “extend to them the right hand of fellowship” (whatever that means. . .). Some churches clap when new believers are baptized, too, but I’ve not known many churches that celebrate like these descriptions when the lost are found:
The point of these parables is likely to show the wrong attitude of the Pharisaical older brother who himself did not receive a party, but perhaps we’re more like him than we care to admit. Most of us did not get a party when God saved us, either, so we don’t think much about throwing a party for others. I trust we’re not jealously opposed to it (though I suspect some would be), but we still don’t celebrate like we should. In my judgment, we ought to throw more parties when God saves people.
PRAYER: “God, I praise You for the rejoicing among the angels when people get saved. Help us to rejoice, too.”
TOMORROW’S READING: Matthew 19, Mark 10:1-31, Luke 16:1-18:30
“Whoa. A ‘true woman’ has just entered our midst.”
I looked curiously at the guy who said this just after I entered our children’s ministry meeting. Then I remembered. The tote bag on my shoulder was from the True Woman Conference.
“What is a ‘true woman’?” he asked with a grin, and all eyes turned to me.
Since I’m one of the True Woman bloggers, you’d think I could whip up a precise, accurate response lickety split, right? But I couldn’t. I hesitated. “Uh . . . it’s . . . a conference,” I said clumsily.
This happened several years ago, after I received my first True Woman Conference tote bag. The guy in that room wasn’t making fun of me. He was just a friend, curious about the bag I was carrying. But since that day, I’ve been determined to have an answer prepared for anyone who might ask, “What is a ‘true woman’?”
And I think I’ve finally found the best answer yet, at True Woman ’18.
In our opening session on Friday night of the conference, Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth gave us the bad news first, for nobody finds the good news to be quite as precious unless they’ve first heard the bad news.
The bad news is that we’ve all been deeply wounded and affected by lies. Satan has lied to us. We have lied to ourselves. Other people have lied to us. From the very first lie that Eve believed to each of the millions of lies believed this very day, lies have been destroying people. They have been destroying women.
The woman who believes these lies about herself, about God, and about other people is not flourishing as God intended. Instead, she’s becoming enslaved and falling into bondage. She’s withering.
But the woman who rejects lies and believes the Truth given by God is a true woman, for she has made Truth her foundation. Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth reminded us, “The Truth is more powerful than lies. It is more pure and more beautiful than you can imagine, and it will set you free.”
So what is a true woman? She’s a woman who says “yes” to the Truth. She’s also a woman who discerns and says “no” to lies. She has faith to believe the Truth even when the world makes lies seem believable. As she embraces Truth and rejects lies, she lives in freedom, reflecting God’s image in the truest way. She is a true woman.
The focus of this year’s conference was “The Truth That Sets Us Free.” Every facet of the conference was focused on answering questions like:
In response to those questions, here is a smattering of statements about what the true woman believes, which we heard from the platform at True Woman ’18.
A true woman believes TRUTH about her enemy.
Satan is a master con artist. He will use you, abuse you, steal your identity, and rob you blind. —Mary Kassian
A true woman believes TRUTH about her shame.
Satan wants to keep you in bondage through lies, guilt, and shame. He wants you to keep your abuse in the darkness. —Mary Kassian
You don’t have to carry the shame of your sin, because Jesus took care of that already. —Jackie Hill Perry
A true woman believes TRUTH about her trauma.
You are not what your sexual abuser said you are. You are not what your trauma says you are. You are a child of the living God. —Jackie Hill Perry
A true woman believes TRUTH about her freedom.
The first step toward freedom is to bring it out into the light. —Mary Kassian
Independence from God and His people is bondage. —Pastor Eric Mason
Armed with the Truth, we can do battle against the lies and win. We can be victorious over them. —Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth
A true woman believes TRUTH about her future.
Here’s the truth: God is enough. He will provide all that you need. He is bigger than any storm that you will ever face. —Mary Kassian
A true woman believes TRUTH about her identity.
It doesn’t matter who you say you are and who they think you are—it matters that you know who He is and who He says you are. —Jackie Hill Perry
A true woman believes TRUTH about her circumstances.
We may not be able to control our circumstances, but by God’s grace, we can control how we respond to our circumstances and whether we let Him use them to change us to be more like Jesus. —Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth
A true woman believes TRUTH about her suffering.
Lie: I am the only one who has suffered like this. Truth: Christ will not ask us to suffer anything He Himself has not already suffered. —Sarah Walton
Sometimes God will give you hard pills to swallow, but you still have to swallow and follow. —Pastor Eric Mason
A true woman believes TRUTH about her pain.
Friends, suffering is real and it is hard, and it does change us. But if you are in Christ, it cannot shape your foundation or change your identity. —Kristen Wetherell
A true woman believes TRUTH about her gender.
A lot of people are drifting from faith and what Scripture has to say about gender, not because of theology. Our experiences are shaping how we interpret Scripture. —Jackie Hill Perry
If God made man and woman, then gender is God’s idea, and if it’s His idea, it’s a good one. —Jackie Hill Perry
A true woman believes TRUTH about her desires.
Satan didn’t win Eve over with an intellectual argument. He appealed directly to her senses, desires, and emotions. —Mary Kassian
For us to think that somebody is just who they like is to diminish who God made people. We are so much more complex than who we love. —Jackie Hill Perry
A true woman believes TRUTH about her singleness.
We are designed for relationship, but you don’t need a relationship to be fully human. Adam was alone, but he was not less of a man because of it. Marriage and sexuality are not the ultimate expressions of community. —Jackie Hill Perry
A true woman believes TRUTH about her children.
The world tells us that children are a burden, but God tells us that they are a blessing. The world tells us that children cost too much to raise, but God says that children are a gift. —Robyn McKelvy
A true woman believes TRUTH about her emotions.
Sisters, your thoughts are the boss of your feelings. Whatever you are thinking about is going to be what you feel. —Dannah Gresh
A true woman believes TRUTH about her Bible.
Sisters, taste and see that the Word of God is satisfying. The Word of God will align your affections with Truth, just like it was in the beginning. His Word will bring order into your chaos, and it will put everything into place. —Betsy Gómez
A true woman believes the TRUTH about her priorities.
A woman led by distraction is vulnerable to believe lies about God, about others, about herself, about priorities, and about what is important. —Betsy Gómez
A true woman believes the TRUTH about her God.
The Lord never ever leaves or forsakes His own. He will stand by you, and He will strengthen you. —Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth
Ultimately, no enemy, no matter how powerful, can prevail against our God! —Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth
Our culture, with all of its rants and marches, would have us believe that true women—women who let God decide what is true—are an insignificant, small minority. Our generation would have us believe that God’s perspective on gender and sexuality and marriage and abortion is invalid. Our enemy would tell us that a true woman’s voice can’t even be heard against the world’s wild roar.
But friend, I got to be one of the 7,000 true women who gathered in Indianapolis. I got to be part of the more than half a million women who gathered through livestream around the world. I got to experience the passion and joy rising up from that massive crowd of women, all rejoicing in a God who set them free!
Our God is not pressing us to roar back against culture; instead He’s inviting us to quietly and lovingly embrace the Truth. He is stirring us to live as true women—as lovers of Truth.
Will we model Truth for the next generation and pass the baton on to our younger sisters in the Lord? Will we carry the banner of Truth throughout our churches, neighborhoods, and homes? Will we embrace Truth in the marketplace, online, and the private corners of our homes? Will we hold fast to God’s Word and use Truth to navigate life—not the other way around?
True Woman ’18 has passed, but our mission has not! We have been entrusted with the Truth. Let us be the women who love the Truth and by it are daily set free.
