Ben Shapiro is a popular conservative commentator and Orthodox Jew. Shapiro hosts a podcast (it recently was picked up as national syndicated radio, but still operates on a podcast platform) and runs the Daily Wire. Shapiro is one of the most in-demand conservative talking-heads in America, is part of the “Intellectual Dark Web,” and has basically turned the entire political world into his oyster.
John MacArthur is the (nearly) Octogenarian and, arguably but objectively, one of the most prolific Bible commentators and preachers alive. Subjectively, he is (in my opinion) one of the best pastors alive. The tweet from Shapiro is below.
I listen to everything John MacArthur writes or preachers. I listen to everything Shapiro writes or says.
I never thought I’d hear these two get together. I often cite Shapiro in Bible Studies (not in reference to the Bible, but just as small talk about current events) and say something along the lines of, “I pray he gets saved one day.” Well, one thing is for sure. If Shapiro has sat down with JMAC for any period of time, I’m sure he’s heard the Gospel.
There’s a bit of fear an trepidation about the unlikely event MacArthur doesn’t clarify to Shapiro that he needs saving (and a more likely event in which that’s edited out of the production). But man, what a night this is going to be.
I’m geeking out of this so bad I may very well host a viewing party and break out my Leftist Tears mug. Watch the video below.
