Did you know that there are now more “witches” in the U.S. than there are Presbyterians? There are approximately 1.5 million people who identify as witches in America.
As people are drawn to the dark side, society sees this as “mainstream.” I remember when I was growing up, no one that I knew boasted about being a witch. Maybe they were out there, but most of them remained, along with their broomsticks, in their closets.
There has always been churches filled with people who like to come together on Sundays. It’s rather like country clubs but church-style. They have choirs and Sunday school classes and they even have pantries filled with canned foods for the poor.
