January 25 The Foundation of Faith

Scripture Reading: Matthew 7:24–29

Key Verse: Romans 8:35

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Imagine that someone walked up to you today and said, “Here’s one million dollars. Build yourself a dream house.” Chances are, you’re not going to pick a poor lot filled with sand. You’re not going to use the cheapest, knottiest, half-rotted lumber you can find. Of course not. You search for the choicest acreage and the highest-quality building materials you can afford.

But when it comes to constructing a sturdy foundation for their lives, many people settle for inferior supplies—possessions, fame, or financial security. On the surface, these things seem reliable enough, but in the hard blast of a personal crisis they crumble away. A fire can eat up possessions; fame can disappear with one piece of negative press; a failing economy or a layoff can destroy financial security.

That’s why Jesus wanted you to see beyond the temporal to the eternal. He said, “Everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock … The winds blew, and burst against that house; and yet it did not fall” (Matt. 7:24–25 nasb).

You need the shake-proof foundation of Christ to make it through the storms of life (Rom. 8:35). Only on His sure footing can you find security that survives every trouble. Build your life on the foundation of faith—Jesus Christ.

Dear God, I do not want to build with inferior supplies—possessions, fame, or financial security—because these things crumble. Empower me to build my life upon the foundations of Your Word and Your Son, Jesus Christ.[1]

Obama Regime Still Making Deals & Meeting World Leaders Like They Are Still In Charge

Article Image

Recently, former Secretary of State John Kerry called on President Trump to resign during a Tuesday appearance at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. While Kerry’s statement has been carried by many media sources, as well as him being asked if he plans to run for president in 2020, no one is asking the most important question of all:  Why is Kerry still attending important world functions and meeting with world leaders?

Since Donald Trump became president in 2016, both John Kerry and Barack H. Obama have been traveling around the world, on our dime, acting as if they were still running the USA. Both attended the Climate Summit, met with world leaders in their own countries numerous times, and Kerry even met with Iranian officials and other world leaders to try to save the nuclear deal President Trump scrapped.

Presumably, the flight Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, and other Socialist Leftists were going to take recently on an extravagant world vacation disguised as a business trip to visit troops in Afghanistan and other stops in Egypt and Europe would have coincided with some of Kerry’s itinerary.  This means that key people in the former Obama Administration are still acting as if Obama were still president by making deals with world leaders. The meetup with Kerry, Obama, and others by the Pelosi entourage tells us that the US is being governed by two factions. The legitimate government of the Trump Administration, but also the Defacto US government of the Obama reign.

The fact that we have key players from the former Obama government still acting as our legitimate government and many Leftists in power now, who obviously recognize Barack H. Obama as their leader and not the Trump administration, should deeply disturb us. Not only is this an act of defiance against the current administration that was put in power by the citizens of the USA, but it is a blatant act of treason against the people by the former administration and government officials currently in office.

The US is and has been in a quiet, for the most part, Civil War since citizens outrightly rejected the NWO neo-Nazism mantra in electing Donald Trump to not only Make America Great Again, but to actually Make America the United States of America again.

The organized mobs such as ANTIFA and BLM, financed by George Soros and organized by Obama, whose job it is to put down any semblance of support of nationalism in the US, most of the time violently, shows us we citizens are headed into armed conflict with anti-American factions within our own government.

This armed conflict will not bode well for the anti-American factions trying to destroy the US, as most law enforcement and all military will side with US National Patriots and they’re officially sworn in President, Donald Trump.

Wow – Rosenstein, Mueller and FBI Coordinate With CNN for Exclusive Pre-Dawn Raid and Arrest of Roger Stone…. — The Last Refuge

The Rosenstein/Mueller investigation instructed the FBI to conduct a pre-dawn raid and arrest of Roger Stone at 6:00am this morning.  CNN was on the scene to broadcast the raid and capture live to their audience.  Interestingly as the CNN reporter shares in the video: …”we where here at 5am waiting for whatever was going to happen, it was dark. 6am Just after the hour”…  Obviously the broadcast theatrics were planned in advance.

Using the approach seen before with mass murderers and notorious criminals, the FBI generously permitted exclusive video footage from CNN showing dozens of heavily armed SWAT and FBI officials who surrounded the home of Mr. Stone for impact and value.  The CNN glee is, well, a blood lust on full display. WATCH:

The scene provides quite a contrast from how the DOJ and FBI handled the Clinton team within prior investigatory events and inquiries. The DOJ could have easily made a phone call and coordinated Mr. Stone turning himself in to authorities as they have done in the past with their political allies. However, for maximum corrupt visibility – the raid gives a more favorable optic to the resistance.

January 25 Worthy Of Praise

Scripture reading: Philippians 4:5–23

Key verse: Psalm 147:1

Praise the Lord!

For it is good to sing praises to our God;

For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.

Whenever you read a passage of Scripture concerning suffering, you almost always find an exhortation to praise God.

It seems an odd mix—the moment when you are enduring the greatest internal stress is the time when you least feel like offering praise and thanksgiving. In her book 31 Days of Praise, Ruth Myers explains the connection:

Why do I at times feel reluctant to praise in the midst of everyday trials: when I hear news that makes me anxious about someone I love, or when I face a major disappointment, or when I’m angry or under a lot of pressure?

Could it be that one of Satan’s major strategies is to divert us from praise? After all, he knows that God delights in our praise, and that doesn’t exactly make him happy. He also detests the rich benefits praise brings to us and others. Or is it simply that our flesh prevails over our spirits, dampening our desire to glorify God? Might it be some of both?…

Praise flourishes as you weed and water and fertilize your spiritual garden in which it grows. It becomes more constant as you nurture your soul on God’s Word and walk in His ways, depending upon the Holy Spirit. It gets richer and more spontaneous as you grow in your knowledge of how worthy the Lord is to receive honor and glory and praise.

You are worthy to receive praise, O Lord. I praise You today with my whole heart.[1]

Christians in Israel – Rising Spring

President Trump ‘Planning Major Speech’ Next Week, Despite Postponing SOTU
President Donald Trump is reportedly planning a major national speech next week after being forced to delay his annual State of the Union address until after the government shutdown has ended. Despite being blocked from going ahead with the SOTU by Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Trump is apparently planning an alternative televised address to the American people. Sebastion Gorka, President Trump’s former deputy assistant, revealed in an interview with Breitbart News Daily on Sirius XM on Thursday that supporters should expect to see Trump speaking to the country anyway. “It might not be called the State of the Union, but there will be an address, from a very very interesting location, held very soon by the president,” Gorka said.

CRISPR used to control which genes are passed down in mice
Biologists at the University of California San Diego have successfully used the CRISPR gene-editing tool to control genetic inheritance in mice for the first time. In this case, the researchers engineered an active genetic “CopyCat” DNA element, and used CRISPR to copy it from one chromosome to the other. The idea is that this would increase the chances that this gene would be passed down to the next generation of mice in tests. In recent years a similar process has been used in insects, for example in making malaria-resistant mosquitoes that will pass that trait down through a population.

Exploiting Children: Part of the Left’s Agenda

Where’s our common sense? Doesn’t this attract pedophiles, child molesters and rapists? Why are so many adults just going along with all this? Evil is being called good.

Some of us saw this coming years ago, but how did we get to the point of openly sexualizing innocent children – and promoting it as acceptable? Things that were once unthinkable have become mainstream.

Comments, Questions & Answers

Mike and David read your questions and comments, but open with a commentary on the disgusting actions of the State of New York that will kill more babies and American Christianity’s collective cowardice in standing up for the lives of unborn children.

When “The State” thumbs its nose at God and proudly passes a law that will murder more children created in the image of God, and American Christianity Churches continue in their ringing silence and failure to stand up for those children, is the “church” becoming part of the problem rather than the solution?

Persecution of True Christians

Millions of Bible-believing Christians around the world live daily with the threat of imprisonment, torture, and even death because of their faith in Jesus Christ. Pray for them! But here in America with the blessing of our amazing Constitution and protection of religious freedom, few of us ever think about our persecuted family in Christ or pray for them. Some are even so foolish as to think it’s not our concern and it could never happen in America! Wow.

But with increasing attacks on Christians supported by Hollywood, the media and Democrat Party, it may indeed be knocking at our door as we see the hatred and ridicule of ramping up to unprecedented levels. Todd Nettleton of Voice of the Martyrs joins us to talk about the reality of life for Christians in nations like China, India, Iran and Africa.

And let us remember that as we spend an hour or so a week in comfortable chairs in our many churches, our brothers and sisters around the world are truly suffering for Christ—a fate that may well await us one day here in America.

Does Your Church Look More Like the World?

Mike and Crash continue to look at how a growing number of churches look more like the world instead of standing out against the growing sin and depravity of this culture. As spiritual insanity grows in America shouldn’t the church stand out in contrast all the more? But instead it seems many churches continue to modify their approach to growth by accommodating a growing sinful culture. The ‘gospel’ being preached has been sanded and watered down to the point that it is incapable of rescuing sinful man from the coming wrath of God.

This subtly creeps into the church through programs adopted and exported by churches like Willow Creek and Rick Warren’s “Purpose Driven Church” Model that is secularizing leadership in the church, creating a hierarchy where church leaders go unchallenged as expository preaching transitions into ‘life coaching’ and the gospel is presented as a holy God compromising His standards so that more might be ‘saved.’

Pastor Mike Abendroth of No Compromise Radio joins us to discuss this sad transition and also take a deeper look at Jesus’ teachings in Matthew Chapters 5-9.

Growing Moral Confusion in America

Mike and David continue to look at the growing spiritual and moral insanity taking over America and the influence it is having on American Christianity. The Bible warns us that in the final days good would be seen as evil and evil seen as good. We see this unfolding in our nation as the radical Left pushes an unbiblical worldview and establishes a new standard for supposed “morality” that completely contradicts the Word of God. And a growing number of churches embrace this unbiblical worldview in order to be seen as seeker friendly and accepting, even to the point that the church no longer has any influence on a decaying society.

Elijah Abraham is a former Muslim, now a committed born-again believer in Jesus Christ. He travels around the world teaching in churches in heavily Muslim nations equipping believers to reach people with the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Elijah talks about the moral decay in our nation contrasting how churches in areas of intense persecution approach church compared to America.

Is America Experiencing its Romans 1 Time?

In Romans chapter one, Paul explains that since men reject the truth of God, He turns them over to a reprobate mind to think and do evil in astounding ways. Their rejection and hatred of God fuels them to believe and do unthinkable evil.

Sixty million murdered children in mother’s wombs in the U.S.; homosexual marriage legalized; and gender dysphoria accepted as “normal” with the government paying for people to try to change their gender (something medical science says is quite impossible), all point to a collective depravity in a nation established under God’s Laws and moral principles. And in the meantime, American Christianity gladly allows secular culture to infiltrate and influence her to the point that churches and their members look more like the world than a unique, holy people.

Gary Kah of Hope For the World joins us to talk about these issues and discuss globalism, Israel, the political divide in the U.S., and a report that President Trump will be unveiling a peace plan for the Middle East that seems to have Israeli officials very nervous.

Tom Fitton Threatens FOIA Lawsuit to Uncover How CNN Was Tipped Off on Roger Stone Raid — The Gateway Pundit

President Trump’s longtime confidant and advisor Roger Stone was arrested by heavily armed KGB FBI agents Friday morning in a pre-dawn raid.

CNN was tipped off and captured the raid live.

CNN claimed it was a hunch that led them to Stone’s house — their gut instinct is so good that they just happened to know the FBI was going to arrest Roger Stone Friday morning.

Even the local reporters had no clue the FBI was going to raid Stone’s house.

At least six FBI vehicles and approximately 27 officers stormed Roger Stone’s home in Fort Lauderdale. The KGB FBI agents were dressed in tactical vests with large weapons. They were wearing night vision glasses.

This is a new low for the FBI.

The Judge released Stone on a very low bond which proves the FBI raid was abusive and excessive.

On Friday, President of Judicial Watch Tom Fitton threatened a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request to get to the bottom of how CNN was tipped off to the raid.

TOM FITTON: Maybe a Judicial Watch FOIA will uncover will uncover how CNN found out about the Stone raid.

Was CNN Tipped Off By FBI Ahead Of Stone Arrest?

The pre-dawn arrest of former Trump adviser Roger Stone in connection with the Mueller investigation has many scratching their heads over how it went down. Not only did the FBI surprise Stone at 6am Friday morning with a knock on his door – as opposed to simply notifying his attorney and letting Stone turn himself in, but CNN was there to film the entire thing going down.

This begs the question; did the FBI tip off CNN ahead of Stone’s dramatic takedown?

Former Fox News host Greta Van Susteren certainly thought so on first take, tweeting: “CNN cameras were at the raid of Roger Stone…so FBI obviously tipped off CNN…even if you don’t like Stone, it is curious why Mueller’s office tipped off CNN instead of trying to quietly arrest Stone;quiet arrests are more likely to be safe to the FBI and the person arrested.”

Others shared her sentiment:

CNN claims that they staked out Stone’s house based on “unusual grand jury activity in Washington yesterday” along with other information.

Van Susteren, upon further reflection, acknowledged that there were others would could have tipped off CNN, including Stone himself.

Meanwhile, many are questioning the decision to conduct a “heavy raid” on Stone for lying to Congress, while others connected to the Trump campaign such as Paul Manafort have been allowed to simply turn themselves in.

Roger Stone: ‘I will not bear false witness’ against Trump

Surrounded by hecklers shouting “lock him up,” former Trump adviser Roger Stone declared Friday after a court appearance in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, that he will fight “politically motivated” charges of obstruction, false statements and witness tampering brought by special counsel Robert Mueller in his investigation of alleged Trump campaign collusion with Russia.

Stone – who was arrested in a pre-dawn raid Friday morning at his home by FBI agents in tactical gear with their guns drawn – emphasized that the charges “related in no way to Russian collusion or collaboration” during the 2016 campaign.

“I am falsely accused of making false statements during my testimony to the House Intelligence Committee,” he said, calling Mueller’s probe a “two-year inquisition.”

Stone, who was released on $250,000 bail, said he found it “disturbing” that the special counsel’s office distributed a news release prior to informing his attorneys of the charges.

“At the crack of dawn, 29 FBI agents arrived at my home with 17 vehicles with their lights flashing when they simply could have contacted my attorneys, and I would have been more than willing to surrender voluntarily,” said Stone, competing with the ongoing din of heckling.

“They terrorized my wife, my dogs while I was taken to the FBI facility,” Stone said.

He said he will plead not guilty to the charges, which include allegations that he worked to obstruct the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into Russian interference by denying he had records sought by the committee and persuading a witness to provide false testimony.

“I will defeat them in court,” Stone said of the seven counts. “I believe this is a politically motivated investigation.”

He inferred that, facing prison time, Mueller’s team, was pressuring him to become a witness against President Trump.

“There is no circumstance whatsoever under which I will bear false witness again the president, nor will I make up lies to ease the pressure on myself,” he said.

“I look forward to being fully vindicated.”

‘The only thing worse … ‘

Stone, who describes himself as a political showman and dirty-trickster, opened his remarks saying, “The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.”

As he made his way to the microphones he flashed the iconic “V” for victory sign of Richard Nixon. Stone, who has a Nixon tattoo on his back, began his political career working for Nixon.

Mueller’s team is accusing Stone of communicating with unnamed Trump campaign officials about the WikiLeaks release of hacked emails of Democrats during the 2016 campaign.

Jay Sekulow, a lawyer for Trump, said Friday that the indictment “does not allege Russian collusion by Roger Stone or anyone else.”

Gay Priests and the Lives They No Longer Want to Hide

Thousands of priests are closeted, and the Vatican’s failure to reckon with their sexuality has created a crisis for Catholicism.

Photo: Governatorato S.C.V., Direzione dei Musei, All Rights Reserved

We have no reliable figures on just how many priests in the Catholic Church are gay. The Vatican has conducted many studies on its own clergy but never on this subject. In the United States, however, where there are 37,000 priests, no independent study has found fewer than 15 percent to be gay, and some have found as many as 60 percent. The consensus in my own research over the past few months converged on around 30 to 40 percent among parish priests and considerably more than that — as many as 60 percent or higher — among religious orders like the Franciscans or the Jesuits.

This fact hangs in the air as a giant, unsustainable paradox. A church that, since 2005, bans priests with “deep-seated homosexual tendencies” and officially teaches that gay men are “objectively disordered” and inherently disposed toward “intrinsic moral evil” is actually composed, in ways very few other institutions are, of gay men.
