March 3 Characteristics of True Believers

Scripture Reading: Ephesians 1:1–14

Key Verse: Ephesians 1:11

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will.

A life of enduring holiness (reflecting the mind and character of God) is possible only when we first are convinced of our identity in Christ. The Scriptures attribute these remarkable characteristics to believers:

• We are the salt of the earth.

• We are saints.

• We are joint heirs with Jesus.

• We are justified by faith.

• We are ambassadors for Christ.

• We are eternally secure in Christ.

• We are triumphant in Christ.

• We are accepted in the Beloved.

• We are children of God.

• We have peace with God.

• We are free from condemnation.

• We are the temple of God.

• We are blessed with every spiritual blessing.

• We are citizens of heaven.

• We are complete in Christ.

Many other features are already yours through faith in Christ. They are gifts from the Father, bestowed upon every disciple for effective service.

Knowing who you are in Christ is the starting point for abundant living. You can live a holy life because you are holy in Christ. Today agree with God concerning your new identity in Christ.

O God, I declare my new identity in Christ: I am the salt of the earth, a child of God, a saint who has peace with You. I am joint heir with Jesus, free from condemnation, and justified by faith. I am the temple of God, an ambassador for Christ, eternally secure, triumphant, complete, and accepted in Christ. I am a citizen of heaven and blessed with every spiritual blessing![1]

As President Trump Approaches his Third Year In Office, Christians Need To Be Reminded Why God Put Him There In The First Place — Now The End Begins

The presidency of Barack Obama was God’s direct judgment upon America, just as God making Saul king over Israel was actually a judgement on Israel. But the presidency of Donald Trump, on the other hand, is a judgment upon the world.

Donald John Trump was elected as the 45th president of these United States by the sovereign act of an almighty God’s will to place into power, and to remove from power, anyone He so chooses. So as we are passing the two and a half year mark of his presidency, a message from my pastor and a recent exchange with longtime NTEB reader Laura earlier today made me realize it was time to once again check in with some of the reasons behind why God would choose to use a man like Donald J. Trump. So let’s take a look, shall we?

“And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.” Daniel 2:21,22 (KJV)

As I have said many times before, I did not start out as a Trump supporter, I was leaning towards Ted Cruz in the beginning. But after learning that the people behind Cruz, and perhaps Ted Cruz himself, began to speak about Cruz being God’s ‘anointed king‘ to bring about the ‘end times wealth transfer‘, I began to look at other candidates. Being a Yankee from New Jersey, I had known about Donald Trump since the early 1980’s. And, quite frankly, it was because I knew about him that I did not feel inclined to vote for him.

But as I prayed for wisdom and guidance, the Holy Spirit began to lead me right to Trump’s doorstep. And it had nothing to do with wanting to ‘make America great again’. Don’t get me wrong, I am the son of a WWII and Korea vet, and the brother of a United States Marine. I am as patriotic as they come. But as I bible believer and student of prophecy, I knew America’s best days are behind her. Let me tell you why before I go any further.

Judgment On America Began With The Election Of Barack Hussein Obama

Back in 2012, I wrote an article entitled ‘Obama Is The King God Has Given To Reign Over America In the Last Days‘, and in that article I spoke about how, in my opinion, God has started to judge America as a nation. I honestly did not think that America would survive much past 8 years of rule by the Kenyan Barry Soetoro, a true ‘manchurian candidate‘ if ever there was one. But though we did survive Obama, and have continued forward, it sooned dawned on my that the judgement from God was going to continue under Donald Trump. Albeit for entirely different reasons than it did with Obama.

“And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.” 1 Samuel 8:7,9 (KJV)

The presidency of Barack Obama was God’s direct judgment upon America, just as God making Saul king over Israel was actually a judgement on Israel for their rebellion against God. But the presidency of Donald Trump, on the other hand, is a judgment upon the world. And what better way to judge the world than by using the nation that has the world’s largest economy and the world’s strongest military – America!

Why I Felt God Led Me To Support Donald Trump For President

The first article I wrote, nearly a year before Trump was elected, is called ‘Why A Bible Believer Is Supporting Donald Trump For President Of The United States“, and in that article you can read why I felt the Lord chose me to support Donald Trump, warts and all. By this point, I was so sure that Trump would win because of what the Lord told me, I went out on a crazy limb and made this prediction:

As I see it, Donald Trump will be the far-and-away winner for the Republican party nomination for president in 2016. Hands down. …he will easily win in November in a landslide.

Writing that article, and making that prediction had the near immediate effect of the following things. First, I got more hate mail, from other Christians, than you could shake a stick at. People were mad, very mad, at me for supporting Trump. The second thing that happened was people threatened to stop coming to NTEB, and guess what, they did! Almost overnight, our site went from over 1.3 million views a month to less than 300,000. Ouch.

That’s when I had to start doing some fundraising to keep NTEB online, prior to that I paid for everything from ad revenue the site generated. The incredible excitement I had felt at the first, knowing I had heard from the Lord that He would make Donald Trump president, and a whole a year before the election, was soon tempered by the start realization that being the one bringing that message also destroyed my income stream. But that’s another story for another day.

The second article I wrote in our ‘The Last Trump‘ series was called ‘The Real Reason Why Donald Trump Was Chosen To Be The Republican Candidate For President‘, and in it I make the case why I think God placed Donald Trump in power as a global judgment. I highly recommend that you click on these links to my previous articles, I promise you it will bring back many things you have already forgotten surrounding Trump’s miraculous election.

Why God Is Using President Trump To Judge The World

The next article in the series I want to direct your attention to, and perhaps the most powerful, is called “The Global Shaking From A Trump Presidency We Warned You About Last Year Has Already Started“. This was written mere weeks into his presidency, and even at that time, his election was already causing a shaking around the political world. Here is a brief snippet of how much of the world order began to shake in just that short span of time:

“For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.” Haggai 2:6,7 (KJV)

A RANDOM SAMPLINGS FROM HEADLINES IN TRUMP’S FIRST MONTH IN OFFICE:

  • TRUMP CHALLENGES THE WORLD ORDER: President-elect Donald Trump is alarming critics by not only threatening to dispatch with political correctness but also disregarding the basic tenets of world order surrounding nuclear weapons. With a single tweet Thursday and then a follow-up chat with a television broadcaster on Friday, Trump entered the holiday weekend shaking up global affairs by stating an interest in vastly expanding the U.S. nuclear arsenal, even if it means restarting an arms race with Russia. source

  • TRUMP WARNS UNITED NATIONS AFTER ISRAEL VOTE SAYS ‘THINGS WILL BE DIFFERENT NOW”: President-elect Donald Trump slammed the Obama administration for its decision not to veto a U.N. resolution critical of Israel’s settlements, promising that it would be “different” under his presidency. “As to the U.N., things will be different after Jan. 20th,” Trump tweeted Friday. source

  • DONALD TRUMP SHAKES INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS: President-elect Donald Trump long ago earned a reputation for being unpredictable in his statements, but he outdid himself on Thursday. In the span of just a few hours, Trump shook international relations by undercutting the Obama administration over a UN resolution on Israeli settlements, indicated he would ramp up nuclear competition with Russia and then jolted a major defense contractor — and its shareholders — by suggesting he would ask Boeing to replace a fighter jet being made by Lockheed Martin. source
  • TRUMP HAS THE GUTS TO MOVE U.S. EMBASSY TO JERUSALEM: U.S. Congressman Dave Brat and Congressman-elect Scott Taylor affirmed their belief that President-elect Donald Trump will make good on his promise to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem. “Trump’s priority in moving the embassy is a huge symbol,” Taylor told Breitbart Jerusalem on Monday at the Jerusalem Leaders Summit. “You’ve heard of other presidents who have started to do it but they end up not doing it, but I think he will. And I support it.” Congressman Dave Brat agreed: “Oh, he has the guts to do it.” source

Wow, right? At that was just at the 4-week and three day mark, believe it or not! So, at this point, are you starting to remember and starting to see what I am talking about? Now look at the last 2.5 years of Trump’s presidency, can you see God’s hand of judgement on this world? If you still cannot see it, scan some of these headlines and it will all come rushing back to you.

The Cup Of This World’s Judgment Almost Full Now

So, where does all this leave us? It leaves us in a day and age where babies are aborted and their still-warm flesh is sold to create ‘humanized mice‘, and where lost people demand that the ‘right’ to have robot sex be protected under international law. It leaves us with politicians talking about forced sterilization of human beings to ‘stop climate change‘, and the ‘First Annual Christian Witches Convention‘ being held in Salem, Massachusetts.

I could on on about the mayor of Landsdale, PA, proclaiming February 2nd to be called ‘Inclusion Day’ to commemorate indoctrinating school children with the LGBTQP ‘story fun time’ at the local library, or how France is replacing the words ‘mother’ and ‘father’ with ‘parent 1’ and ‘parent 2’. And if all that doesn’t do it for you, how about the Roman pope signing a ‘universal peace covenant‘ with Islam?

“For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.” Hebrews 11:14-16 (KJV)

Christian, time is almost up, stop fooling yourself about reviving America’s ‘glory days’, because it’s not going to happen. The ship is going down, and we are called to get as many souls in to the lift raft that is Jesus Christ, that is our mission. Stop wasting your time arguing politics and start fishing for the souls of men! Our pastor at church this morning gave an incredible, soul-stirring message on ‘preaching in your Jerusalem’, which is to say where you are right now. You may be here tomorrow, but that person the Lord has put on your heart to take the gospel to may not be.

Time to get busy, Christian, the footsteps of the Master draw near. Flight #777 on Titus213 Airlines now boarding.

Only One Life, Twill Soon Be Past – Poem by C.T Studd

Only one life, twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one,
Soon will its fleeting hours be done;
Then, in ‘that day’ my Lord to meet,
And stand before His Judgement seat;

Only one life,’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

This Is Why I Voted For Donald Trump For President

I believe that God told me to support Donald Trump, told me that he would win in a landslide, and to give him my whole-hearted support for this very reason. To be a blessing to Israel and the Jewish people. Donald Trump has done what every president for the past 70 years promised, but never delivered. Only Donald Trump moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem, and only Donald Trump has declared Jerusalem to be the capital of Israel. This is why I supported him, and will continue to do so until the Lord tells me otherwise. Keep looking up!

Leaving Neverland and Finding Clayton Jennings: #ChurchToo and the Fear of Reporting Sexual Abuse — Pulpit & Pen

With the debut of the documentary Leaving Neverland on HBO tonight, the #MeToo movement reaches critical mass. The two-part, four-hour documentary tells the story of two victims of alleged sexual abuse by pop icon Michael Jackson. Such allegations about the late King of Pop are nothing new. He settled out of court for nearly $25,000,000 with the family of a young accuser in 1994 and was acquitted of criminal child molestation charges in 2005. After his acquittal, Jackson’s fans celebrated outside of the California courthouse where he was being tried with shouts, tears, and confetti. Fans around the world followed suit. Jackson had such a profound effect on the lives of his throngs of fans that they were personally tied up in the outcome of his trial. Therein lies the danger of accusing someone widely popular and beloved of misdeeds. Fans and followers can be aggressively opposed to anyone besmirching the reputation of their idol. This can be terrifying for accusers who want to come forward with their stories. The publicity that surrounds scandal can further terrify victims of abuse as their personal lives and personal failing become subject to scrutiny. Thus, many victims are tempted to bury their stories. Related organizations, even churches, are incentivized to cover up scandal as well. Such an environment, an environment of fear, can allow predators to thrive. The case of the charismatic, and disgraced, evangelist Clayton Jennings.

In 2016, Pulpit & Pen published the first in a long series of accounts from various young women who claimed to have been seduced by Clayton Jennings. Many were scared of publicity and repercussions. Only published her name along with her story. Eventually Jennings’ church revoked his license to the ministry. Jennings lost some speaking engagements but retained others. For the most part, he dropped off of our radar here at Pulpit & Pen. Until yesterday, he had not been written about at this publication since March of last year. It was yesterday that Jennings unleashed a series of profane and aggressive social media posts addressed not only at Pulpit & Pen and its publisher but former preaching associates and his former church, which he referred to as a “cult”. In the midst of his postings, Jennings released pictures and descriptions of some of his accusers. This technique of public embarrassment is known as “doxing” can be used as a devastating tool by public figures with rabid fan bases. Since yesterday, scores of Jennings supporters have contacted Pulpit & Pen with everything from profane insults to threats of harm.

Clayton Jennings, Jordan Sparks, and Tim Tebow

Predatory people know as well as anyone that people who live in glasses houses should not thrown stones. This is perhaps why so many victims and churches are afraid to publicly expose the misdeeds of disqualified and abusive ministers. There can be repercussions for doing so, especially if ministers who are disqualified because of sexual sin reach a point where they have nothing to lose and decide to take down as many people with them as they can. I do not know if this is what Clayton Jennings is in the midst of doing but I do know that Christians who have spoken out against spiritual abuse in sexual form have no need to fear further public embarrassment in the church. The Apostle John wrote, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.” Those who have repented of their sins, including those women who fornicated with Clayton Jennings and later admitted doing so, should be embraced by the church as redeemed sinners. Their punishment for sin has been borne on the cross by Jesus Christ.

Jennings with Vice President Mike Pence

The #ChurchToo movement has been an especially tragic one, in that it has shown that many churches, ministers, and even victims have fostered an environment of fear instead of an environment of forgiveness and love. Having been set free by truth, Christians have no need to fear the worldly tactics of shamers, nor should they be enticed to engage in them. I, for one, chose to pray for the redemption of the type of weak-willed women, weighed down by their sin, who have been taken captive the wiles of supposed men of God like Clayton Jennings. As for the world, it will deal with men, living or dead, like Michael Jackson, Bill Cosby, Kevin Spacey, and Harvey Weinstein as it may. The church should remain pure and holy, realizing that its individual members will sin but the corporate body will always be there to hold those sinning members accountable and direct them, with grace and gentleness, to the loving and forgiving arms of Jesus Christ.

‘America needs to wake up’ to Islamification of US: UK activist warns what comes after elections are won, citing Omar as example

(FILE PHOTO video screenshots)

In a video posted to Twitter last Friday, the same day that Muslim congresswoman Ilhan Omar came under fire again for antisemitism, British conservative activist Katie Hopkins implored Americans to wake up and recognize Omar for what she is and truly represents.

“America needs to wake up to Ilhan Omar. She’s changing right before your eyes. And there are three simple steps to the Islamification of politics. We’ve already lived it here in the U.K.,” she said.

Listen:

Hopkins believes that the U.K. and other European nations that have been overly welcoming to Muslim refugees have become Islamified, i.e., Islamic culture has taken over, thus leading to the creation of “no-go zones,” the emergence of judicial rulings based on Sharia law and an uptick in crime.

“Number one: You have a voting bloc of people that are densely packaged together — the same community, Somali communities, Bangladeshi communities, four families living where one family used to live — and now you have them voting according to their religion, facilitated by their mosque,” she said.

“Funding can flow in. You have the Muslim housing association. We have a Muslim police association. We have events especially for the Muslim community of London. We have an EID celebration in the middle of London … paid for by the Muslim mayor of London to keep his voting bloc happy.”

The mayor of London is himself a Muslim — one who loathes U.S. President Donald Trump and has repeatedly downplayed the dangers of Islamic terrorism.

“And once you have people voting according to their religion — funded by funding streams from God knows where — you’ll see the changes start to happen. You’re seeing them now,” Hopkins continued.

“For us, it means that we no longer have bikinis on as our undergarments because it would be offensive to some of the locals. It means that certain individuals can no longer come to our country because we don’t want to upset local communities. And it means that Asia Bibi, a Christian woman, was not given a place to stay in the U.K. because we don’t want to upset local communities.”

Christian woman freed from death row for blasphemy begs Trump for asylum. Pakistan Muslims want her dead. https://t.co/WtmbBWHSVd

— William (@bwtanker) November 4, 2018

Bibi is a Christian Pakistani woman who spent years in prison awaiting a death sentence for committing blasphemy, up until a court overturned her conviction last year. The problem is that, while the Pakistani government doesn’t want her dead anymore, its constituents do.

In a bid to save her own life, last year she began appealing to world leaders to provide her with asylum. The U.K. reportedly denied her plea at the time out of fear that allowing her into the nation would spur unrest among its growing Muslim population.

“Once you have Islam in political power, your culture starts to change rapidly,” Hopkins continued. “You started this by allowing head coverings to be worn inside your positions of power. You’ve seen Ilhan Omar change from having this kind of modern-looking, exotic-looking, oh so fabulous [hijab] … in to now this darker and blacker head covering.”

“Now we’re coming out and speaking out against Israel. Now we’re saying that the president needs to be impeached. Now we’re standing by the socialist Maduro in Venezuela.”

“America needs to wake up to Ilhan Omar!” she concluded.

On the same day that Hopkins uploaded this rant, The New York Times reported that Omar is again in trouble for antisemitism as per remarks she’d made earlier in the week.

The video below shows her touting a conspiracy theory about her “Jewish colleagues”:

The video below shows her touting a trope about Jewish Americans possessing dual loyalty:

Such glaringly antisemitic rhetoric didn’t emerge until after Omar was elected into office by a predominantly Muslim community affiliated with high rates of Islamic terrorism.

While liberals would argue that Hopkins’ rhetoric is equally bigoted, the evidence does suggest that an influx of pious Muslim immigrants does often trigger an abundance of problems, including but not limited to more rapesmore robberies and even more murders.

And of course the Islamification of politics, as noted by social media users.

The islamification of politics. Listen to this woman, we don’t want to end up the UK! #WalkAwayFromDemocrats #llhanOmar #antiAmerican https://t.co/FEWPJNLFgE

Again I have to say Katie is spot on here, How on earth did USA citizens let this individual get voted into political office. She needs to be removed from the country not just political arena.

You are fabulous Katie. Really appreciate everything you do and thank you for highlighting what is wrong in this country and the big wide world. Carry on, educate us all.

We are woken up. We just have a corrupt @FBI who protects criminals when they are politicians but also protect terrorist in our congress. It’s safe to say we may all be wearing yellow jackets soon like the French.

‘Survival of the fittest’: RT explores distressed black neighborhoods doomed to crime and decay

'Survival of the fittest': RT explores distressed black neighborhoods doomed to crime and decay

While segregation is an illegal thing of the past, in many US urban areas communities where black people live are reminiscent of a “jungle” where residents survive surrounded by murder, drugs and overwhelming poverty.

RT documentary ‘Black Lives’ went to Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia to talk to the locals who share their stories of living in a deprived area.

“You’ve got to survive. It is a jungle. You gonna act like a lion amongst other lions, like a beast amongst other beasts. It is survival of the fittest at its rawest form,” says David Manigault, director, filmmaker and east Baltimore native. He says people in the area can’t get a job and thus end up selling drugs while no one can feel safe on the streets. “A lot of my friends lost their lives in this neighborhood,” Manigault says.

Such communities may be just a couple miles away from more wealthy areas where children get anything they want – school programs, computer labs, football teams. A kid living in a poorer district may go to sleep without heat. For children growing up in these areas becoming a drug dealer may be as appealing as becoming an NBA star.

“That’s not a two miles difference, that’s a two million miles difference,” Maj Toure, founder of the ‘Black guns matter’ movement says speaking about the disparities between the urban communities in Pennsylvania.
