October 6 The Power of Confession

Scripture Reading: Psalm 138:1–8

Key Verse: Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Sticks and stones may break our bones, but negative words can crush our spirits. A harsh tone and a cruel accusation from someone may affirm a dreadful misconception we have about our lives. Paul, however, did not let the defeating words of others sway him. Instead of conceding that maybe their accusations were correct, Paul knew what God had to say about his life. And he began confessing it. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).

Paul’s confession was bold, but truthful. He immediately staked his claim on the source of his strength, Jesus Christ. This was not a mere defiant remark from a person with a huge ego. This was a confession from someone who understood his place in God’s kingdom and the power of the One he served.

The spoken word is a powerful tool, and we must be careful to use it in the same way God uses His Word to communicate to us: to continue to shape us into His image. When the confessions of our mouth about who we are align with God’s Word, we begin to see the healthy benefits of such statements. Instead of a poor self-image, we begin to see ourselves as God sees us: His beloved children whom He longs to bless with His mercy, goodness, and grace.

Lord, let me never forget that when I accomplish things in You, I could not have done them in my own strength.[1]

Pope Francis Appoints 13 New Chrislam-Friendly Cardinals Who Will Help Guide The Roman Catholic Church Into Adding Both The LGBTQ+ And Islam — Now The End Begins

Pope Francis has appointed 13 new Chrislam-friendly cardinals during a ceremony at the Vatican on Saturday, many of whom symbolize his priorities for the Catholic Church during his papacy and ultimately, his legacy.

What started as a trickle has turned into a full-on prophetic flood of activity surrounding the moves in 2019 by Pope Francis to create the One World Religion of Chrislam as foretold in the book of Revelation. With the Roman Catholic Churchrepresenting counterfeit Christianity, we are seeing the Vatican working to add not only Islam but the LGBTQ+P for Pedophile Movement as well, and they have already made incredible strides as you will in this breaking story. Just last week we told you that construction had been approved on the new Chrislam headquarters in Abu Dhabi that sent prophecy shock waves around the world.

“For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” Revelation 17:17,18 (KJV)

So here we see Pope Francis appointing new cardinals, 13 of them to be exact, nothing new about that, right? Happens all the time, right? Wrong. What is different about the appoint of these 13 cardinals is that every, single one of them are in agreement with the pope on the covenant of ‘mutual brotherhood’ signed back and February, and on adding the LGBTQ+ as ‘members in good standing’ to the Catholic Church. This is Chrislam, and the addition of these two seemingly opposing groups represents over 1.5 billion people. (The mere fact that the pope is able to form an alliance with both the LGBTQ+ and Islam should show you who is the power behind him.) When added to the Roman harlot, that will create a One World Religion that is comprised of nearly 50% of the global population! Are you now starting to see how massive the end times army of Antichrist will be? This is what these 13 new cardinals truly represent, and as long as we are on the subject, remember that 13 in the Bible is the number of rebellion.

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.” Revelation 13:11,12 (KJV)

It is wonderfully startling to see all these things, decades in the making, now not only coming to life but in a blizzard of prophetical activity. Remember when you first got saved and read the Bible, and wished that you lived in a day when prophecy was being fulfilled in front of you? Remember when you first read ‘Left Behind‘ and longed to see that level of prophecy come leaping off the pages of the Bible? Welcome to that day. Flight #777 on Titus213 Airlines now boarding…

Pope Francis appoints 13 cardinals who reflect his inclusive Chrislam vision for the Roman Catholic Church

FROM CNN: The Pontiff’s new cardinals have defended the commitment to fighting populism, supported the inclusion of gay Catholics, sought to improve inter-religious dialogue with Muslim communities, and expressed concern with the environment and youth issues, according to their biographies.

The appointments, which can be compared to the selection of cabinet ministers upon a new government, come from countries such as Democratic Republic of the Congo, Angola, Indonesia, Morocco, Cuba or Guatemala — representing “the Church’s missionary outreach and universal character,” according to Vatican News. Among his picks, Pope Francis appointed Cardinal Miguel Guixot, the President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.

Guixot has a long history of working with Muslim leaders on religious cooperation, having spearheaded talks with Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayeb of Cairo’s Al-Azhar mosque, and represents Pope Francis’ push for interreligious dialogue between Catholics and Muslims.

As does Cristobal Romero, archbishop of Rabat, is representative “of the church in North Africa,” Vatican News writes. British citizen Michael Louis Fitzgerald has worked with people “from other faiths, especially from the Arab culture,” and Indonesian Ignatius Suharyo Hardjoatmodjo, who will work as a bridge to South East Asia and to Indonesia, a country “with the biggest Muslim following in the world,” Vatican News says.

Newly minted Cardinal Matteo Zuppi of Bologna is a supporter of LGBT Catholics, writing an essay for the Italian version of a book on how the Catholic church can reach out to the gay community, according to a tweet by the book’s author, the American Jesuit priest James Martin.

Pope Francis also appointed Jean-Claude Hollerich from Luxembourg, who has been outspoken about the importance of fighting populism and protecting migrants. Alvaro Imeri, from Guatemala, was also picked because of “his openness to dialogue, especially among indigenous people and migrants.” Archbishop of Kinshasa, DRC, Fridolin Besungu was also appointed to contribute to peace in his country and the region. GTY Blog Post – Why Read Anything Else if Scripture Is Sufficient?

Does the principle of sola Scriptura (that Scripture alone is the authority over the church) mean that believers should look to Scripture only?

Many professing believers in the church today won’t read anything other than the Bible, and refuse to listen to someone else interpret and preach the Word. Some even argue that the doctrine of biblical sufficiency vindicates their hermit-like Christian existence. But does the sufficiency of Scripture nullify the value of Christian scholarship or the need for Christian fellowship?

We recently put those questions to Mike Riccardi, one of the keynote speakers at the upcoming Truth Matters conference. Here’s what he had to say:

Mike’s answers—drawn from Scripture itself—highlight the immense benefit we can gain from a conference like Truth Matters, with its emphasis on the sufficiency of Scripture. Although the conference is now fully booked, Grace to You will be streaming every session live. We hope you will join us online to be edified through the preaching of God’s Word.

Chuck Todd is fully vested in defending the overall CIA and FBI efforts in the 2016 election.  Throughout his “reporting” Todd has been one of the biggest defenders of corrupt political behavior by the intelligence apparatus and John Brennan.

Today, amid media marching orders that must be retained, Senator Ron Johnson appears on Meet The Press and Chuck Todd angrily confronts any effort to reveal the corruption.

Jordan Goes to Bat For Trump: He’s Doing His Job By Getting to the Bottom of Corruption | Town Hall

Jordan Goes to Bat For Trump: He's Doing His Job By Getting to the Bottom of Corruption

George Stephanopolous on Sunday pressed Oversight Committee Ranking Member Jim Jordan (R-OH) about whether or not it’s appropriate for President Donald Trump to urge other countries to investigate corruption. Specifically, Stephanopolous was referencing President Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. During the call, Trump asked Zelensky to investigate the Bidens. While Vice President Joe Biden was handling international relations relating to Ukraine on behalf of the Obama administration, his son, Hunter, was being paid $50,000 by a Ukrainian gas company. The kicker: Hunter had no experience in natural energy. Democrats have run with the idea that Trump threatened to withhold military aid from Ukraine if Zelensky declined to investigate.

According to Jordan, President Trump wants to make sure Americans’ money, that’s being sent overseas, is being sent to a country that is not engaging in corrupt behavior.

“I think when the president is — and this is why it relates to Ukraine – I think when the president is trying to make sure that there is not corruption, that if we’re going to be sending the hard-earned tax dollars of the American people to Ukraine to help them fight Russia, to help them get their country moving in the direction that they need, to get the security assistance they need, I think he believes that we should make sure there’s not corruption there,” Jordan said.

Jordan reminded Stephanopolous of one important tidbit: Kurt Volker, the former Special Envoy to Ukraine, on Thursday testified in front of the House Intelligence Committee for nine hours. During that testimony, he said Hunter Biden was hired by Burisma, a company that has a longstanding history of corruption.

“I think the president, when he’s trying to decide how American tax dollars are going to be spent, and what countries they’re actually going to go to, it’s his job to make sure there’s not corruption,” he explained. “So when the vice president’s son is hired by this company, that Mr. Volker told us had a long history of corruption, was leaked to the government in Ukraine, I think that’s the president doing his job.”

Stephanopolous, however, attempted to focus on the fact that Biden is one of Trump’s opponents for president.

“So you think it was appropriate for the president to ask Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden. Do you know of any other instances where the president has called on foreign leaders to investigate corruption did that did not involve one of his political rivals?” the host asked.

“George, we heard from the ambassador for hours this Thursday. And the ambassador told us there was no quid pro quo, there was no linkage between any type of security assistance money and any type of investigation. The ambassador was clear. We have the transcript where there is no — even Democratic chairman [Schiff] said after reading the transcript – even though before they got the transcript they said there was going to be a quid pro quo in there, after reading it they said there is not a quid pro quo,” Jordan slapped back.

“And the two individuals on the call, the two people on the call who know it best, President Trump and President Zelensky, said there was no pressure, no pushing, none of that,” he reiterated. “It was done in a professional manner. That’s what Ambassador Volker told us.”

Former CIA Chief Brennan Unblinkingly Rewrites Entire Basis Of US Judicial System In One Short Sentence | Zero Hedge

“…people are innocent, you know, until alleged to be involved in some kind of criminal activity.”

The presumption of innocence, as a foundation of the US judicial system, has seemingly been under attack since November 8th 2016. An allegation is made, media runs with the narrative, the seed of possibility of guilt is implanted in the minds of zombie Americans, and the accused is maligned forever – no court required. Simple.

And now, none other than former CIA Director John Brennan clarifies exactly how the deep state sees “due process”…

In an interview on MSNBC, Brennan, unblinkingly states that “people are innocent, you know, until alleged to be involved in some kind of criminal activity.”

And not even a skip a beat from the MSNBC anchors.

Some have suggested, in Brennan’s defense, that he was being sarcastic, or even joking, but nothing in his delivery suggests that and furthermore, it’s not the smartest thing to say given the goings on at the margin of the legals system and the death–by-allegation media narratives that are swarming around the enemies of his deep-state attack.

Of course, we should by now know full well how to treat anything that comes out of Brennan’s mouth…

Utterly without value.

‘I Am Not Going to Respond to That!’: Biden Snaps at Reporter Over Ukraine Question – Sputnik International

In 2016, Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter was a board member of a Ukrainian energy company which was later suspected of illegal activity. The role the former vice president had in suspending the investigation into the company was brought up by Donald Trump in his July phone call with the Ukrainian president, leading to an impeachment inquiry.

Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden exploded at a reporter during a campaign stop in Los Angeles on Friday, following a question about his son’s business activity in Ukraine back in 2016.

Hunter Biden’s service on the board of directors of Burisma Holdings group and the company’s alleged illegal activity that was investigated by Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who was later dismissed at the request of Joe Biden, has been an outstanding issue within Donald Trump’s impeachment inquiry that was initiated last week.

However, when asked about the conflict of interest following his deep involvement in Ukrainian politics at the time of his vice presidency and his son’s business dealings in Ukraine, Biden not only refused to answer the question, but also snapped at the reporter.

“It’s not a conflict of interest,” Biden stated in fury. “There’s been no indication of any conflict of interest, from Ukraine or anywhere else, period. I’m not going to respond to that.”

“Let’s focus on the problem, focus on this man, what he’s doing, that no president has ever done,” Biden said right afterwards, switching the focus to Trump’s impeachment inquiry proceedings following his 25 July phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which featured a discussion of the interrupted investigation.

Biden’s comments came hours after Ukraine’s newly-appointed prosecutor general announced that Ukraine will review allegations of criminal activity of the Burisma company and other related cases.

Hunter Biden joined the company’s board in 2014 around the same time his father Joe Biden was appointed to lead the Obama administration’s policy in Ukraine, raising questions about a possible conflict of interest. Joe Biden publicly demanded in 2016 that Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Shokin be dismissed following his probe into the company’s alleged illegal activity, threatening to withhold more than one billion dollars in US aid if the Ukrainian government did not remove Shokin from the post, which eventually happened.

Donald Trump suggested looking into the matter during the conversation with the Ukrainian president, which however was seen as a breach of national security by the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives, prompting them to initiate an impeachment inquiry into Trump. The US president condemned the inquiry, calling it a “witch hunt”.

Susan Page: By 2-to-1 Margin Americans Say Investigating Biden’s ‘Unseemly’ Behavior Legitimate | Breitbart

On Sunday’s broadcast of CBS’s “Face the Nation,” USA Today Washington bureau chief Susan Page said Americans want Joe Biden’s “unseemly” behavior over his son Hunter’s business in Ukraine investigated.

A Whopping 82% of Americans Believe Social Media Companies Favor Certain News Organization Over Others — The Gateway Pundit

A new study has found that the majority of Americans, from both parties, believe social media companies have too much power in controlling the news they see on their feeds — and that they are heavily biased.

The new data from Pew Research revealed that a massive75% of Republicans and 53% of Democrats believe these Big Tech companies have too much control over what news articles are visible to users.

Additionally, a large majority of Americans believe that social media companies are biased and favor certain types of news organizations. “About eight-in-ten U.S. adults (82%) say social media sites treat some news organizations differently than others, about five times the share saying all news organizations are treated the same (16%),” Pew reports.

Overall, 62% of Americans hold this view, while 55% believe that the companies’ efforts to filter news result in a worse mix of news for users.

“Almost all Americans – about nine-in-ten (88%) – recognize that social media companies have at least some control over the mix of news people see. And most Americans feel this is a problem: About six-in-ten (62%) say social media companies have too much control over the mix of news that people see on their sites, roughly four times as many as say that they don’t have enough control (15%). Just 21% say that social media companies have the right amount of control over the news people see,” Pew reports.

The findings are based on a survey conducted July 8-21, 2019, among 5,107 U.S. adults who are members of Pew Research Center’s American Trends Panel.
