Grenell was seen delivering a satchel of documents to the DOJ last week and according to ABC, he also discussed the list of Obama officials involved in unmasking Flynn.

Recall, General Flynn’s December 2016 phone calls with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak were intercepted and Flynn was illegally unmasked — after Flynn’s identity was revealed, the transcripts of his phone calls were then leaked to the Washington Post.

Flynn’s leaked calls were published by WaPo’s David Ignatius on January 12, 2017 which led to Flynn being fired as National Security Advisor in February of 2017.

This is a breaking story…please refresh for updates.

“They Got a Pulitzer Prize for a Story that was 100% False!” – Lara Logan Slams Trump-Hating Garbage Journalists at NY Times and WaPo (VIDEO) — The Gateway Pundit

The far left New York Times admitted this week that its “science and health reporter” Donald McNeil, Jr., went too far this week during an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour. During the interview McNeil went on a tear against several members of the Trump administration. The New York Times said they discussed the issue with him.

Again, Donald McNeil, Jr. is the “science and health” reporter at the Times.

On Wednesday, Lara Logan weighed in on the state of the liberal mainstream media. Lara did not hold back and went as far as saying the Pulitzer winning reporters at The New York Times need to return their awards.

New York Times and Washington Post Pulitzer winners for their garbage Trump-Russia collusion hoax — From left: Maggie Haberman, Jo Becker, Matt Apuzzo, Rosalind Helderman, Tom Hamburger, Ellen Nakashima, Adam Entous, Greg Miller and Mark Mazetti accept the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting from Columbia University.

Lara Logan: How come The New York Times never makes a mistake that helps the Trump Administration? How come no other paper does that as well? And how come nobody cares about the fact that you got a Pulitzer Prize for a story that was 100% false? And then you went back to the same sources and you gave them a platform and let them justify and defend their actions? That reporters don’t know what the law says! They report on laws and don’t even know what they say. And one important point to make here. Grenell as DNI, he’s not unmasking anybody. He doesn’t have to follow those rules. He has to follow the law of declassification.

Lara left her co-hosts on Outnumbered speechless with her blatant honesty.

Billionaire investor David Tepper calls stock market overvalued (AMZN, FB, GOOGL) | Business Insider

Billionaire investor David Tepper said the stock market is “maybe the second most overvalued” he’s ever seen, just behind the dot-com bubble in 1999.

In a Wednesday interview on CNBC’s Halftime Report, the founder of hedge fund Appaloosa Management said, “The market’s pretty high and the Fed’s put a lot of money in here … the market is by anybody’s standard pretty full.”

“There’s a lot of liquidity there and the Fed’s still there. It’s too hard to say the market can’t go up or something like that, but it’s not a very good risk-reward market,” Tepper added.

Tepper said he’s not short stocks, according to CNBC anchor Scott Wapner, and is “relatively conservative” with his portfolio, positioned to be 10% to 15% long equities.

While Tepper acknowledged that the March 23 low in the S&P 500 index may have marked the bottom, “that doesn’t mean you can’t fall significantly from these levels,” he said.

The comments line up with data from FactSet that show the stock market is the highest valued it’s been since April 2002, and also echo recent comments from Stanley Druckenmiller who said on Tuesday, “The risk-reward for equity is maybe the worst I’ve seen it in my career.”

When it comes to individual stocks, Tepper did have some comments on large-cap mega-tech names like Amazon, Google, and Facebook.

“Just because Amazon is perfectly positioned doesn’t mean it’s not fully valued,” he said. “Google or Facebook … they’re advertising companies. … They’re not rich but they may be fully valued.”

Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller says the stock market’s risk-reward is the worst he’s ever seen — and downplays the Fed’s ability to rescue the economy | Business Insider

  • The legendary investor Stanley Druckenmiller said in a Tuesday webcast to members of the Economic Club of New York that risk-reward for equity was the worst he’d seen in his career.
  • “The consensus seems to be ‘don’t worry, the Fed has your back,'” Druckenmiller said. “There’s only one problem with that: Our analysis says it’s not true.”
  • He said he also worried that a V-shaped recovery from the coronavirus pandemic was “a fantasy.”
  • Read more on Business Insider.

Stanley Druckenmiller, the legendary investor and former George Soros chief strategist, said in a Tuesday webcast to members of the Economic Club of New York that the stock market was overvalued.

“The risk-reward for equity is maybe as bad as I’ve seen it in my career,” Druckenmiller said, according to the Economic Club’s Twitter account. “The wild card here is the Fed can always step up their [asset] purchases.”

He said he also worried that the government’s stimulus programs wouldn’t be enough to solve the economic problems arising from the coronavirus pandemic and sweeping lockdowns to curb the spread of the disease.

“The consensus seems to be ‘don’t worry, the Fed has your back,'” Druckenmiller said. “There’s only one problem with that: Our analysis says it’s not true.”

Instead, markets seem to be too high, considering the uncertainty of the environment and likely bankruptcies on the horizon, according to Druckenmiller.

“I pray I’m wrong on this, but I just think that the V-out is a fantasy,” he said, referring to a V-shaped economic recovery, according to Bloomberg.

Stocks have rebounded after the fastest plunge ever into bear-market territory in March, spurred by the coronavirus pandemic. The tech-heavy Nasdaq is back in positive territory for the year, and the Dow Jones industrial average and the S&P 500 are not far behind.

The market momentum came as the Federal Reserve unleashed unprecedented action via trillions of dollars in stimulus funds. But that won’t help the economy recover, Druckenmiller said.

“It was basically a combination of transfer payments to individuals, basically paying them more not to work than to work,” he said. “And in addition to that, it was a bunch of payments to zombie companies to keep them alive.”

Druckenmiller also said he thought markets were overreacting to optimism about drugs such as Gilead’s remdesivir.

“I don’t see why anybody would change their behavior because there’s a viral drug out there,” he said.

Fauci Tells Senate: ‘Indefinite Lockdown!’ Why Do We Keep Listening To Him? by Ron Paul

 • Ron Paul Liberty Report

Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared before a US Senate Committee today to warn Senators against opening the country after the coronavirus outbreak. Opening too soon – before a vaccine – will bring needless death and suffering, he said. No mention of the needless death and suffering caused by the lockdown itself – cancer treatments cancelled, surgeries cancelled, Depression-level economic collapse, depression, suicide, abuse. How long must we continue listening to this “expert” who has gotten everything wrong thus far?

COVID-19: An Ocean of Fears and Lies | Global Research by Dr. Pascal Sacré

“If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading.” – Lao Tzu

Are you too waiting for the second wave?

What type of waves are we talking about?

Your eyes are riveted perhaps on a multifaceted agent called Covid-19 [1] and you hear that this agent will be coming back every year, or even several times a year.

Personally, I am more afraid of waves of panic, and downpours of fears and lies inflicted on us every year, even several times a year.

Your minds are fed with various of fears and contradictory measures, sometimes as absurd as forcing thirteen-year-old children to wear face masks.

It is not surprising that people of all walks of life, nationalities and cultures are starting to lose faith in what they are told.

We hear ad nauseam the alternative voices being called ‘conspirational’ by the ‘official’ commercially sponsored media.

Among those accused of promoting ‘conspiracy theories’, we find university professors, serious scientists, level-headed researchers and highly qualified doctors.

These persons have a proven track record of seriously done work.

They are reliable. They can be trusted.

In fact, as soon as you deviate even so slightly from the official line, you are called a conspiratorialist spreader of dangerous disinformation, a conspiracy theorist, or more simply, an unreasonable person. Yes, idiot.

Fortunately, despite the insistence coming from some quarters to discredit any alternative to the official discourse, the people themselves are waking up. Citizens feel that something is amiss, and they are more and more losing confidence in the narrative of the ‘Ministry of Truth’.

Lie # 1: Hydroxychloroquine doesn’t work

Lie # 2: Hydroxychloroquine is too dangerous

Some countries use it with good results and without major side effects.

In countries where prescriptions have been banned outside hospitals, such as in France andBelgium, some field doctors have “disobeyed” and done what they thought was right, with good results and without major side effects.

Just imagine!

Qualified, experienced doctors, normally responsible and free to prescribe, prohibited from doing their job!

I refer you to my previous article (in French): Covid-19: And what now?  ( Covid-19: Et maintenant?)

Beyond the controversy over the scientific merits of giving an inexpensive drug (that has been known and prescribed in huge amounts for more than 70 years) to infected and symptomatic people or people at risk (caregivers, residents of nursing homes or hospital patients), in a specific setting (cardiac monitoring, compliance with contraindications, dosages, earliness) and this without waiting a year or more for a “gold standard double blind randomized clinical control trial” which hasn’t even been scheduled yet, my question is:

Do the authorities, helped by the media, want to take away all hope from the people?

Any hope that could overshadow expensive, unknown and very profitable treatments for merchants who infiltrate all governments and health institutions, especially in France and Belgium [See my article: Covid-19: Check the Source of your Information!  War against…  Corruption?], but also throughout Europe, worldwide [Politics and Corruption at the World Health Organization (WHO …].

Let us be clear: any new vaccine, although it can bring huge benefits to the vaccine industry, is potentially dangerous for the vaccinated.

Any new drug is potentially dangerous, and for some, they are very expensive, especially those ending in –ab [2-3] and in -ir, like Remdesivir which already does a lot of good for the finances of the Gilead firm [4] despite proof of its ineffectiveness, as stated in the Economic Times site, on Apr 23 2020 [5].

These molecules are even more risky if they are prepared under special emergency authorizations, in haste, without respecting the standard steps of marketing authorization that every drug must follow, according to the very same rigorous procedures that university establishment requests loud and clear for hydroxychloroquine, vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc…   maybe the next will be H2O…

Lie # 3: Do not look to food supplements such as ZINC, Vitamin C and Vitamin D

Let me make it simple so that everyone understands.

Our best ally against any aggressive pathogen, or any infection, is our immune system.

It is not the masks, the physical distance, nor the vaccines, but first and foremost our immune system in perfect good working order that will protect us.

Our immune system!

By analogy, this system is like the defense of a country, with its borders, its soldiers, its planes, its radars, its armored vehicles, its artillery, its snipers …

For all of the following statements, please refer to the footnotes.

Zinc [6], vitamin D [7], vitamin C are all three essential elements of our immune defense system.

These are ammunition, missiles, gasoline and body armor when you go to war.

Now read the following carefully:

Most populations are deficient in these three elements [8].

Our Health Authorities know this well.

For Zinc in particular, this deficiency affects populations precisely at risk of developing a serious form of COVID-19 (leading to intensive care, and death): the obese, diabetics and the elderly [9].

Not to supplement these populations in zinc, today, it would be like sending the soldiers of an army to go to the front without ammunition for their rifles, without gasoline in their armored vehicles.

In addition, intense and prolonged confinement resulted in under-exposure to the sun and lack of sunlight is aggravating the deficit of vitamin D, which is otherwise produced in the skin under the effect of by the sun’s rays. Sunlight also kills viruses in minutes, yet they tell us to hunker indoors.

What is more, such an excessive and prolonged lock-down has brought about a dropin physical activity and phenomenal level of stress, thus further diminishing the effectiveness of our immune systems [10-11], even more than it was before.

Findings from the outset!

Findings from research provide solid grounds for giving supplements of these three elements, zinc, vitamin C, vitamin D to help the immune system fight coronavirus infections [12].

Side effects from these three time-tested nutrients are rare, and are easy for general practitioners to control [Read: It Is Not Only the COVID-19 Virus that Is Dangerous. It Is How Our …  ].

But, as expected, here in Belgium the Health Authorities disapprove of these potential natural treatments.

“No multi-center, double-blind, peer-reviewed studies. ”

“No evidence of effectiveness. ”

“There is no clinical evidence. ”

Always the same screeds repeated ad nauseum to disqualify these inexpensive therapeutic avenues, devoid of side effects but that they are very unprofitable for anyone, except for the patient.

Above all, it is clinical common sense to admit that there is value in using these substances for any infectious disease and for COVID-19 more specifically, and also to trust general practitioners who know their job.

Lie # 4: “COVID-19” deaths are all due to “COVID-19”.

No!

This may be the hardest thing to believe.

However, no, the “COVID-19” counted deaths did not all die from the “COVID-19”.

Many reliable testimonies bear witness to the fact that the dead labelled “COVID-19” have not all died from that cause.

Especially in the old-peoples nursing homes that were under an authoritarian lock-down like in France, Belgium, Spain, Italy.

Thousands of frail and elderly people have died of loneliness, stress, physical inactivity, deficiencies in zinc, vitamin C, vitamin D, inability to move to eat and drink and receive love from their closest ones.

With or without COVID-19.

Thousands of people may have died or may have had to be hospitalized, threatened with the use of damaging respiratory ventilators, because they could not be treated by their general practitioners with drugs such as hydroxychloroquine.

Looking back at what was done with the benefit of perspective, could it even be that a large scale, planned euthanasia has been presented as the covid-19 pandemia?

I could have gone on listing the many more lies.

Other whistleblowers are doing that, and this story is not over.

For instead of this unleashed ocean of fears and lies, I suggest that we substitute it with a peaceful ocean of calm and common sense.

More and more people are starting to realize that something is wrong.

There will be a demand for accountability.  We will need to confine the mad captains that led us astray to these troubled waters to their cabins and take back control of our bodies and our minds.

Soon.

I have good hope we shall.

The role of zinc as an antiviral can be separated into 2 categories : 1) zinc supplementation implemented to improve the antiviral response and systemic immunity in patients with zinc deficiency, and 2) zinc treatment performed to specifically inhibit viral replication or infection-related symptoms.

Zinc is essential for the immunity and most humans have low levels :

In infectious context, most humans should take zinc, because zinc is an essentiel component of many physiologic parameters, notably the immune system.

The immune system and the impact of zinc during aging.

The trace element zinc is essential for the immune system, and zinc deficiency affects multiple aspects of innate and adaptive immunity.

Many studies confirm a decline of zinc levels with age.

Even marginal zinc deprivation can affect immune function.

Consequently, oral zinc supplementation demonstrates the potential to improve immunity and efficiently downregulates chronic inflammatory responses in the elderly. These data indicate that a wide prevalence of marginal zinc deficiency in elderly people may contribute to immunosenescence.

Globally, an estimated one billion people are said to have such a deficit. In Western countries, more than 40% of the population over 50 years of age are said to be in deficit. In Europe, a study has shown that 80% of older people have 25 (OH) D levels below 30 ng / ml.

Ron Paul: Don’t Let The MSM & Government Fearmongers Drive You Nuts | ZeroHedge News

Authored by Mac Slavo via SHTFplan.com,

Ginning up fear and terror was the key to getting hold of the country, tossing millions of Americans out of work, and setting fire to the Constitution. A nation ruled by fear is a nation that falls into tyranny, said Dr. Ron Paul in his latest Liberty Report.

We know the elitists have been using the mainstream media to instill fear into the public.  Fearful people are easy to control and more likely to obey the commands of tyrants.  Most people operate only to obey others and don’t take the time to think critically about the information or in this case, the disinformation presented.

Dr. Paul and Daniel McAdams begin the Liberty Report discussing the problems with government regulations, and how they have led to many more deaths than would have happened had the government done nothing.

Dr. Paul then discusses how the media is complicit in scaring the public so politicians can expand their violent rule and domination of other human begins.

“There’s an element of fear, scare the people into it! But that might be the way all incremental socialism and fascism works.”

The biggest thing people need to realize is that the “role of government isn’t to make us safe and secure.” And the more people give up rights to be safe and secure, the more enslaved they become. We have a nation full of people who literally think like slaves and not like the free human beings they were born as.

“Hopefully, this will wake people up!

McAdams added that this fear-mongering by government and the mainstream media is a “form of terrorism.” When you look at the definition of the word terrorism, it’s to “terrorize people for a political goal.”  In this case, the goal in tyrannical takeover and enslavement of every human being on this planet.  They [the mainstream media on behalf of the ruling class] always resort to fear.

As we continue to say, the coronavirus DID NOT cause an economic recession, the people who obeyed the commands of tyrants did. The coronavirus DID NOT cause food shortages, farmers who obeyed the commands of tyrants did.  The coronavirus DID NOT cause tyranny, the cops who followed orders to exact tyranny on the public did.  This all comes down to obeying.  The masters barked orders, and the slaves obeyed to their own detriment. If we ever hope to be free, we have to reject the slave mindset they have brainwashed all of us into.

If you have any questions about what the government wants, check out H.R. 6666. This is the TRACE act.  Wake up. The government is not your friend.

The good news is that the truth is getting out, and people all over the planet are waking up.  The elitists are losing control as the public becomes aware of what governments are doing. McAdams pointed out that the longer this goes on, the more blame Donald Trump will get.

As Dr. Paul said, it’s important to get people to NOT be fearful, but understand what’s going on.

“We have a growing number of people that know there’s an easier answer to all of this,” says Dr. Paul.

And it’s freedom. But most slaves don’t know how to handle freedom and can’t even envision a life that isn’t beholden to someone else claiming to own them.

Former US attorney on judge’s ‘outrageous’ decision in Flynn case: I thought I’d ‘seen everything’

Former U.S. Attorney Brett Tolman thought he had “seen everything” in over twenty years in the federal criminal justice system until U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan opened the door Tuesday for legal experts and other outside parties to oppose the Justice Department’s motion to drop the case against former Trump national security adviser Gen.

Fed Chair Powell says more action may be needed to fend off economic ruin | Business Insider

Reuters

  • The economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic may be a slow one, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said in a Wednesday event for the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
  • He added that more fiscal support could be necessary to avoid long-term economic damage.
  • “While the economic response has been both timely and appropriately large, it may not be the final chapter, given that the path ahead is both highly uncertain and subject to significant downside risks,” Powell said.
  • Visit Business Insider’s homepage for more stories.

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell cautioned on Wednesday that the US economic recovery from the fallout of the coronavirus would likely be slow and require more fiscal stimulus.

The recovery “may take some time to gather momentum, and the passage of time can turn liquidity problems into solvency problems,” Powell said in an event for the Peterson Institute for International Economics.

He continued: “Additional fiscal support could be costly but worth it if it helps avoid long-term economic damage and leaves us with a stronger recovery.”

Powell’s remarks came two months into the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. In April, the US economy lost a record 20.5 million jobs and saw the unemployment rate spike to 14.7%.

Long stretches of unemployment can leave families in greater debt, Powell said. And losing thousands of small and medium-sized businesses “would destroy the life’s work and family legacy of many business and community leaders and limit the strength of the recovery when it comes,” he said.

Powell cheered the actions of the government so far, noting how swiftly different groups had acted to send relief to Americans. The Federal Open Market Committee slashed interest rates to zero in March and has since gone beyond its 2008 playbook with emergency lending and buying programs to support the economy.

Congress has allocated nearly $3 trillion in funding to support small businesses, American households, and more.

Still, there could be more to come. “While the economic response has been both timely and appropriately large, it may not be the final chapter, given that the path ahead is both highly uncertain and subject to significant downside risks,” Powell said.

House Democrats on Tuesday proposed an additional $3 trillion coronavirus relief bill. The Fed also took another unprecedented step this week when it began buying corporate bond exchange-traded funds.

When the crisis subsides, the central bank will “put these emergency tools away,” Powell said. Still, he reaffirmed the central bank’s “whatever it takes” approach to provide support until the crisis has passed and the economic recovery is underway.

DNI chief gets urged to declassify FBI documents in Seth Rich murder | WND

Murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich

A lawyer for one of the individuals caught up in the controversy over the still unsolved murder of Democratic National Committee worker Seth Rich in Washington, D.C., in 2016 has written to acting Director of National Intelligence Rick Grenell asking him to declassify federal records in the case.

The letter that was posted online is from lawyer Ty Clevenger and is on behalf of his client, Ed Butowsky. It follows Grenell’s decision to push Congress into releasing transcripts of dozens of witnesses in the Democrats’ Russia collusion investigation stemming from the 2016 presidential race, which showed there was no evidence for that claim.

Grenell also reportedly has assembled a list of names of individuals in the Obama administration who pushed that investigation – apparently despite a dearth of evidence.

Butowsky, according to WND columnist Jack Cashill, “dared to ask questions no one in Washington wanted asked, let alone answered.” He’s also a high-profile author and financial adviser who now is involved in several legal actions over the claims that have arisen that it was Rich, not Russian hackers, who purloined data from the DNC during the 2016 presidential election and turned it over to Wikileaks.

Clevenger’s letter notes the 2016 murder of Rich in Washington – he was shot in the back while near his home there – and the fact it still is unsolved.

The legal cases involving Butowsky all concern “whether former Democratic National Committee employee Seth Rich played a role in leaking emails from the DNC to Wikileaks,” The letter states.

“[Wikileaks founder] Julian Assange strongly inferred that Mr. Rich – rather than Russian hackers – was responsible for sending the emails to Wikileaks,” even though FBI special counsel Robert Mueller and the FBI say that’s not so, the letter states.

“I am reliably informed that the NSA or its partners intercepted at least some of the communications between Mr. Rich and Wikileaks,” Clevenger wrote, noting that “deep state” already has tried to cover up information about Rich.

“Last September, Judicial Watch inadvertently obtained records about Mr. Rich by requesting communications between FBI lawyer Lisa Page and supervisory agent Peter Strzok. The header in the heavily redacted email string is “Seth Rich” and in one email Agent Strzok boasts about having ‘squashed’ something pertaining to Mr. Rich,” Clevenger wrote.

Further, Clevenger explained, he deposed Assistant U.S. Attorney Deborah Sines, the prosecutor in the Seth Rich murder case, and she confirmed the FBI investigated possible intrusion into Rich’s electronic accounts, the bureau examined Rich’s computer and the FBI “did have” records pertaining to Rich.

Clevenger also said “famed journalist Seymour ‘Sy’ Hersh” reported hearing from a high-ranking FBI official that communications between Rich and Wikileaks do exist.

Clevenger charged that “high-level officials” have pursued “extraordinary lengths to keep the [Russia collusion] hoax alive, and that extends to the false narrative that Russian agents were responsible for hacking the DNC.”

That was the conclusion of FBI special counsel Robert Mueller, who investigation the collusion complaint for years and found nothing against President Trump. But Clevenger said Mueller’s source for his conclusion the Russians hacked the DNC was “a CNN report.”

And Clevenger said several former NSA officials are ready to testify the DNC emails could not have been obtained by hacking because of markings on the published emails – “including the speeds at which the email files were transmitted.”

The government, however, was refused to release any records.

The lawyer explained the rules prohibit “the use of classification for purposes of concealing wrongdoing, and I believe the NSA is trying to conceal wrongdoing that occurred during the Obama administration. I respectfully request that you de-classify the NSA’s records about Seth Rich, further directing the NSA to release the records.”

Several fights going on now have revealed that under the Obama administration, significant information was simply withheld, or denied. For example, the records recently released at Grenell’s urging showed that multiple Democrat officials said under oath that there wasn’t any evidence of the Trump campaign collusion with Russia.

Yet those statements were not released, and some of those same officials continued to say on network interviews that they believed there was that collusion.

It was on the day after the 2016 election, marred by the controversy over the hacking of those DNC emails and their release to Wikileaks, that veteran news analyst Ellen Ratner participated in a recorded symposium at Embry Riddle University, Clevenger wrote.

“I spent three hours with Julian Assange on Saturday at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London,” said Ratner more than an hour into the conversation. “One thing he did say was the leaks were not from, they were not from the Russians. They were an internal source from the Hillary campaign.”

Ratner was referring to the purloined information about the DNC and the Hillary campaign that the media, the Democrats and the deep state insisted had been hacked from the DNC computers by the Russians.

Butowsky reported Ratner told him that she got from Assange that, “Seth Rich and his brother, Aaron, were responsible for releasing the DNC emails to Wikileaks.”

The mystery over Rich’s death has seemed to grow over the years.

Cashill explained the “superficial facts” were that a 27-year-old man who worked for the Democratic National Committee was shot and killed as he walked home that July morning.

Strange are the facts that there had been a struggle, evidenced by bruised hands and knees, yet he was shot in the back. And nothing was missing.

Assange told Dutch TV after the shooting, “Whistleblowers go to significant efforts to get us material and often very significant risks. There’s a 27-year-old, works for the DNC, was shot in the back, murdered just a few weeks ago for unknown reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington.”

It was not a direct claim Rich was the supplier, but certainly raised questions.

How to Deal With People Who Don’t Like You — ChurchLeaders

jealous woman

Rejection is powerful. How do you deal with it?

When I counsel people, sometimes I hear them say, “I don’t care if people like me, as long as they respect me.” When they say that, it’s an “emotional wall they use to block the hurt of rejection,” according to psychologist Marcia Reynolds.

God created us to be social, and if we’re honest, all of us care if people like us. “The feeling of love, affection and belonging is necessary before we can reach the highest levels of consciousness and wisdom,” according to psychologist Abraham Maslow. Maslow is saying we all need people to survive. So, how do you keep from withdrawing when dealing with someone who doesn’t like you?

Fortunately, you’re not the only one who’s had to deal with this problem. After Nathan had anointed David as the future King of Israel, Saul became his bitter enemy. Like David, all of us, at one time or another, deal with people we don’t like and who don’t like us. Perhaps you have people who want to do you harm and see you fail. This is where David found himself in 1 Samuel Chapter 24.

His enemy, Saul, wanted to see him dead, and he spent a considerable amount of time chasing David to kill him. Then one day Saul made a mistake. He walked right into the place where David and his men were without realizing David was there.

Imagine how you might have felt if your worst enemy (or hater) was in front of you and didn’t know you were there. Would you attack that person? Most of us would not think twice about getting revenge on that person, especially since doing so would mean we would no longer have to run and hide from them.

However, David was different. Even though David wanted to stop running and hiding, he wanted to honor God more. Saul was a King that God anointed, and David knew that he could not just kill him. Understanding this, he denied his initial thought to kill Saul.

As believers, you, too, will have opportunities to choose what you want to do and what is right. Devoted followers decide to honor God in every situation and at all times, no matter what. David didn’t kill Saul when he had the chance and God counted it as an honor. Later in David’s life God honored him.

How can you go on with life without letting enemies, critics or haters get you down? Here are 3 Ways To Deal With People Who Don’t Like You:

Understand them

Sometimes it’s because they have issues with themselves that they either refuse to resolve or maybe even refuse to acknowledge .  What they hate about you 1.) could be the one thing they hate about themselves, or 2.) what they hate about you is really what they secretly admire about you.  So when they have a problem with you, understand that it is nothing personal with you.  It is their own personal issues.  Try to walk a mile in their shoes and see things from their perspective.  Instead of hating them you should feel sorry for them.

Be kind to them

Probably the hardest, yet the most character-defining thing you can do is to be kind to people who are unkind to you.  Showing kindness is not dependent on what you receive from people.  Showing kindness depends on your character.  What you do or say to others does not define them…it defines you.  Remember that how they see and treat you is a reflection and extension of how they see and treat themselves.  Most unkind people are harsh with themselves.  So they extend it to others around them.

Pray for them

Jesus Himself has had His share of critics and haters.  He did not only ignore them and continued with His mission, He also prayed for them.  He orders us to do the same; pray for those who persecute you.  The curses you say towards others can come back to you, but so can the blessings.  He also said that when you offer peace and the other person does not accept it, peace would come back to you.  There is no losing on your part.

Ignore them

Some people will always have something to say no matter what.  There’s no pleasing them.  The best, first and simplest way to deal with them is not to mind what they have to say.  Go on with your life.  They will eventually stop when they see that you are indestructible.

Don’t Hate Them

Don’t hate them.  Most of all, don’t let their hate turn you into a hater yourself. Forgive them, Pray for them, Be kind to them, and Love them!

‘The Onion can’t keep up with CNN’: Network’s coronavirus town hall to feature… expert Greta Thunberg | RT USA News

CNN’s latest installment of its ‘Facts and Fears’ town hall on the coronavirus pandemic will feature teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg as one of its experts. What expertise Thunberg can offer on the virus is a mystery.

The town hall, due to broadcast on Thursday, will feature former acting Centers for Disease Control and Prevention head Richard Besser, former Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, and Swedish climate change activist Greta Thunberg.

Besser is a doctor and Sebelius is an experienced politician. Thunberg, by contrast, has no apparent knowledge on infectious diseases or public health policy, and instead spent the last two years lecturing lawmakers and the public on the dangers of global warming, most notably when she delivered a tear-soaked speech to the United Nations last year, accusing world leaders of stealing her “childhood” with their “empty words” on the environment.

Since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, CNN’s ‘Facts and Fears’ has offered viewers a blend of hard debate and cringeworthy moments. Joe Biden, for example, was mocked last month for stuttering through a monologue on the environment, before asking former Vice President Al Gore whether it is “too late to aggress the climate change.”

Likewise, some viewers were confused by the network’s decision to feature director Spike Lee on the same show earlier this month.

CNN has not yet stated what expertise Thunberg will bring to the table. Prior to her upcoming appearance, Thunberg has kept quieter this year than last, surfacing on Earth Day last month to remind the world that the coronavirus shouldn’t overshadow the “climate crisis.”

Some commenters on Twitter were puzzled by Thunberg’s inclusion. “The Onion or The Babylon Bee can’t even keep up with CNN when it comes to parody,” one wrote“This could be a meme,” another mocked.

Despite giving Thunberg airtime, CNN refused last month to air President Trump’s full Coronavirus Task Force briefings, with host Anderson Cooper accusing the president of attempting to “rewrite history” with his then-daily press conferences.
