May 25 Life-Changing Moments With God

How great is Your goodness,

which You have laid up for those who fear You.

Lord God, since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for me who waits for You. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into my heart the things which You have prepared for those who love You. But You have revealed them through Your Spirit. You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore, as a child of man, I put my trust under the shadow of Your wings. I am abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give me drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light I see light.

Godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.

Lord God, may I live a godly life in Your light and know Your joy and lovingkindness toward me.

May 25 Dying to Self

For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
(Philippians 1:21)

You don’t have to survive, but you do have to find and fulfill God’s purpose for your life. The three Hebrew children of God could say “no” to the king because they placed no importance on their personal survival. The widow in 1 Kings 17 was willing to give her “only,” her “last,” and her “all” to Elijah, because she didn’t have a “survival mentality.” Nelson Mandela said, “I’d gladly go back to that island prison again, if it meant setting my people free.”

You say you want to be like Jesus? Are you serious? Listen to Him pray: “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done” (Luke 22:42). He gave up His own will to fulfill the Father’s. Are you prepared to do that? He also gave up His reputation. Paul said, “He made Himself of no reputation” (Philippians 2:7). Can you handle that? John the Baptist said, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30). The trouble is that when we reach a certain level, we begin to rest on our accomplishments. We’re afraid to accept the next challenge, because we’ve too much to lose. That’s dangerous! Listen again to Paul: “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” God’s goal for you today is “the death of self-preservation.”

Are you willing to let Him accomplish that in your life?[1]

May—25 The Poor Man’s Evening Portion

And he is the head of the body, the Church.—Coloss. 1:18.

Sweet view of Jesus! Ponder well the subject, my soul; and behold thy Lord in this endearing character, and thine own personal union with him. Jesus is indeed, in every point of view, “the head of his body, the Church.” He is so by the Father’s own appointment, as our glorious surety: as which he stood up at the call of God, the Father, from everlasting; for when, at that call, he put himself in our stead, in our law-room and place, he undertook, as the Church’s representative, to do all, and to suffer all, for her; and what he did and suffered, they, as his body, might truly be said to do and suffer in him. Sweet thought! When Jesus obeyed the whole law, then was Jesus their law-fulfiller. When he suffered the death of the cross, they in him were crucified. When he arose from the dead, in that resurrection they partook of the triumph, and as members of his body, arose with him. And when he ascended up on high, and sat down on the seat of the Conqueror, they ascended virtually by their union with him, and may be said, “to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” But, my soul! glorious as are these views of Jesus, thine husband, and thine head, yet are they not all. He is the head of his body, the Church, by his assumption of our nature. There is a union also of soul, a oneness, a connection as close and intimate as the natural head of the body with its several members; for as the head of the body is the source of life, which gives energy and action to all the parts of the body, so Christ is to his Church and people “the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.” Here is another sweet thought! When Jesus took thy nature, my soul, in his sinless portion of it, he partook of all that could be said to constitute human nature. “Forasmuch” (saith the apostle) “as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same,” (Heb. 2:14;) hence he must have a tenderness, an affection, a fellow-feeling (if I may be allowed so to say) for his own nature, in the several members of his body, the Church. This is the very argument the Holy Ghost, by the apostle, urgeth with poor exercised believers, to convince them of their safety and assured comfort in him: “We have not an high-priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” (Heb. 4:15.) And as this becomes a source of never-failing comfort to support the several members of Christ’s body with consolation under all their exercises, (for what can any part feel which the head shall be unconscious of, and not participate in?) so doth it equally afford delight in the recollection, that all the wants of the body must be known and felt by the glorious Head, and be by him supplied. Sweet thought again to the believer! Jesus hath a fulness corresponding to all our necessities. “It pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell. And of this fulness do we all receive, and grace for grace.” Look up, my soul, and contemplate the infinite, inexhaustible, unsearchable riches of thy Christ! All awakening, justifying, sanctifying grace; all life, strength, nourishment, support, are poured upon the members of the Church, from this glorious Head: and what sums up the account, and endears it to the heart, is, that these blessings are everlasting, unchangeable, and eternal. He hath said, “Because I live, ye shall live also!”—Pause, my soul! And is this Jesus thine? Is he indeed thine head? Art thou a member of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones?—Witness for me, ye angels of light! I renounce all other lords, all other alliances, all other husbands! It is to Jesus alone that I bend the knee of love, adoration, and obedience; for he is my Lord God, and I am his for ever.[1]

May 25 No Cookie-Cutter Children

Proverbs 23:24

The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice, and he who begets a wise child will delight in him.

Sometimes we have the parenting cookie-cutter mentality. We not only want our children to believe what we believe, but we want them to live out their beliefs exactly like we do. We lose sight of the fact that as children grow, they are going to develop some of their own ways of expressing the same commitments to truth that we have. But when we lose sight of the commitment to truth and we demand outward conformity in every single way, we foster rebellion, because rebellion is the only way they can get enough energy and power to be what they need to be.

You may have heard the story about the housewife who always cut off the end of a ham before baking it in her oven. When the reason was discovered, it was because her grandmother’s small oven necessitated it—a practice that was blindly followed by succeeding generations without question. Values and beliefs should not change from generation to generation, but the expression of them likely will. When we force our children to express their beliefs as we do, we foster rebellion. They need freedom to become their own people.[1]

The blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanseth us from all sin.—1 John 1:7.

YOU may pile up your sins till they rise like a dark mountain, and then multiply them by ten thousand for those you cannot think of: and after you have tried to enumerate all the sins you have ever committed, just let me bring this one verse in, and that mountain will melt away.[1]

The Elite’s COVID-19 Coup: Fighting for Our Humanity, Our Liberty and Our Future | Global Research

We are being utterly transformed. And the world is being utterly transformed around us.

Ostensibly, this is to tackle a simple virus. In reality, it is to achieve an elite design at staggering cost to humanity and to life generally.

If you have not been carefully following what is taking place, let me highlight some recent developments and what we can do about them.

On 26 March 2020, the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) granted Microsoft a world patent. Titled ‘1. WO2020060606 – Cryptocurrency System Using Body Activity Data’, this patent gives Microsoft (that is, Bill Gates) extraordinary power over our lives.

As Professor Vandana Shiva evocatively explains in her latest article, ‘My Earth Journey in defence of Biodiversity, Life and Freedom over 5 decades’, this development is ‘robbing us of our deep humanity’:

The patent is dramatically changing the meaning of being human.

Firstly, it is redefining us as ‘mines’ for data – robbing us of our autonomy, our sovereignty, and control over our bodies and minds….  And just being connected through their ‘server’ is giving consent….

Secondly, it is erasing our humanity – as sovereign, living beings, spiritual, conscious, intelligent beings, making our decisions and choices with wisdom and ethical values about the impacts of our actions on the natural and social world of which we are a part; and to which we are inextricably related. We are being reduced to being ‘users’ of tasks assigned to us by the extractive digital mega machine. A ‘user’ is a consumer without choice in the digital empire. Human creativity and consciousness disappear in the world imagined in #patent060606.

Thirdly, the patent is redefining human values, and the value of being human. Human values include ethical, ecological, spiritual values….

Patent 060606 is aimed at robbing us of our deep humanity. We are being transformed from self organised, conscious, creative, autopoetic beings, into external input “users” whose value will be assigned in cryptocurrency through algorithms, by the very machine that gave us the task in the first place.

But it is not just our humanity that is at stake, horrific though this may be. The world, too, is being transformed so that the humanoids who are not killed off or marginalized into extreme poverty and desperation will perform their assigned roles to serve the global elite within the new techno tyranny that is being created around us.

For just a taste of the evidence in this regard, see

‘Global Capitalism, “World Government” and the Corona Crisis’,

The Farce and Diabolical Agenda of A “Universal Lockdown”

and Techno-Tyranny: How The US National Security State Is Using Coronavirus To Fulfill An Orwellian Vision.

And if you would like greater insight into the role that individuals like Bill Gates are playing in all of this, see these three recent documentaries produced by James Corbett:

‘How Bill Gates Monopolized Global Health’‘Bill Gates’ Plan to Vaccinate the World’ and ‘Bill Gates and the Population Control Grid’.

In addition, this article by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is instructive:

‘Gates’ Globalist Vaccine Agenda: A Win-Win for Pharma and Mandatory Vaccination’.

Given the monumental undertaking for global control that this represents, you might wonder how this transformation can be achieved. And, unfortunately, the answer is ‘very simply’. This is because the bulk of the human population has been terrorized into a state of being submissively obedient. And this state is effectively permanent. As a result, mobilizing strategic resistance to what is happening is very difficult.

Why do I write this?

Because the evidence that COVID-19 is a minor health risk, particularly if dealt with appropriately, is overwhelming and extensively documented: ‘According to data from the best-studied countries and regions, the lethality of Covid19 is on average about 0.2%, which is in the range of a severe influenza (flu) and about twenty times lower than originally assumed by the WHO.’ See ‘A Swiss Doctor on Covid-19’.

Having noted that, however, if you want to watch a thoughtful and detailed explanation of why COVID-19 is a ‘fake virus’, try watching molecular biologist Dr Andrew Kaufman’s two hour interview by Brian Rose: ‘Unmasking the Lies Around COVID-19: Facts vs Fiction of the Coronavirus Pandemic’. In this interview, Dr Kaufman carefully explains:

The scientific procedures that have been utilized in all of these scientific studies… it wouldn’t be possible using those techniques to isolate the virus and purify it and prove that it exists…. Taking into account all of the evidence I have looked at which has been almost entirely from peer-reviewed scientific papers and official government websites, my opinion is that this entire pandemic is a completely manufactured crisis. In other words there is no evidence of anyone dying from any novel illness…. And so what I think is going on… is in line with what might be known as a globalist agenda…. All of these things seem to be moving towards control of the people.

There is not very much about vaccines that makes a lot of sense because if you actually go back and look for the evidence that vaccines have prevented disease you are not going to find any…. Smallpox is an interesting example…. In the mainstream history books the smallpox vaccine has been touted as a major success but that’s not really accurate. If you go back and look at data from the Royal Academy of Sciences what you will see is that the mortality increased substantially while these vaccines were widely used and then when they stopped being used the numbers went back down again.

So it is really difficult to trust what is in a general textbook or mainstream history book without going and looking at the actual data yourself because all of the textbooks that were in medical schools say that vaccines are responsible for preventing many of these major illnesses that people were suffering from and worried about in the first part of the twentieth century. But if you look at some of the same diseases that did not have a vaccine, such as scarlet fever for example, you will find that scarlet fever also went away with all of the other diseases even though there was no vaccine for it.

And when you look at the number of cases of the various illnesses like polio or measles or diphtheria, you’ll see that the prevalence or incidence of those diseases and mortality from those diseases, which in some was substantial, went down almost to the current levels before a vaccine was even available for use so you couldn’t possibly attribute a vaccine for causing that reduction in the illness if it wasn’t even around at the time that the illness was reduced…

If you create a vaccine for an illness [such as COVID-19] that has not been proven to even exist, then the vaccine couldn’t possibly work. But if you do a clinical study and have an imaginary disease and give the vaccine to people and then they never get the imaginary disease it would give the appearance that its very successful.

So this is a real win-win strategy for anyone making these vaccines and which is why there have been companies all over the world racing to be the first one to have a vaccine that’s been proven to be safe or effective using the limited criteria that they require. Because whoever gets there first, according to the plans or proposed policies, they’re going to be selling billions of vaccines. Billions! So they’re going to make billions of dollars as a result of this. So there is such a strong financial incentive.

Some of the technological strategies that they are using to make these vaccines are quite scary and unprecedented…. But obviously it couldn’t prevent a disease that doesn’t exist so there must be some other purpose for it.

Remember, the words quoted above are taken from a two hour interview. If any of these words leave you wondering, watch the interview to consider the evidence that Dr Kaufman cites or check his website: Dr Andrew Kaufman.

In another video Dr Kaufman explains how early scientific papers on the subject suggested an association (not causation) between a novel coronavirus ‘with human to human transmission and severe human infection’ whereas a subsequent key ‘scientific’ paper that made a claim which helped drive the global response to COVID-19 ‘flat out lied’ about their results: ‘Following the first outbreaks of unexplained pneumonia in Wuhan, China, in late 2019, a new coronavirus was identified as the causative agent in January 2020.’ See ‘Identification of Coronavirus Isolated from a Patient in Korea with COVID-19’. In fact, Dr Kaufman points out: ‘they cannot reference any science to back that up whatsoever’. Moreover, subsequently to this paper, another article – see ‘I study viruses: How our team isolated the new coronavirus to fight the global pandemic’– declared ‘The emergence of a new coronavirus in a market in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 set in motion the pandemic we are now witnessing in 160 countries around the world’. But again, Dr Kaufman counters, ‘no evidence was provided at all’ to support this claim: ‘just flat out lies’. For the details and citation of all the scientificsources for this explanation of how the COVID-19 ‘rumour mill’ got started, see ‘The Rooster in the River of Rats’.

If you wish to watch a more scientifically-oriented lecture, explaining more of the technical detail of what Dr Kaufman argues ‘is really going on’ and which is consistent with the evidence, then you can view it here: ‘Special Report: Humanity is NOT a virus!’

So while the evidence that there is neither a virus nor a pandemic is grounded firmly in the science, the evidence that the global elite is using COVID-19 as ‘cover’ to implement its coup against humanity is rather overwhelming. In addition to the articles cited above, see these two articles which cite many other extensively-documented sources as well: ‘The Elite’s COVID-19 Coup Against a Terrified Humanity: Resisting Powerfully’ and ‘COVID-19: Breaking the Lockdown, Defeating the Coup, Averting Extinction’.

But while this evidence is readily available, it requires someone who has not lost the capacity to investigate and think for themself. And that is a huge problem.

Of course, little of the evidence in these regards is available through education systems or the corporate media, given that the purpose of these institutions is to serve elite interests. And controlling access to, and manipulating perception of, the evidence is vital in both regards.

So if, for example, you believe that the corporate media is reporting the ‘news’, you might like to reflect on these words of David Rockefeller spoken at the highly secretive elite Bilderberg meeting held in Germany in 1991 but subsequently leaked:

‘We are grateful to The Washington PostThe New York TimesTime Magazine and other publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity. But the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government…. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.’ See ‘David Rockefeller at Bilderberg meeting in Baden 1991’ and ‘David Rockefeller’s Chilling 1991 Speech at a Bilderberg Meeting’.

The motto of The Washington Post is ‘Democracy Dies in Darkness’. What it does not proclaim is that the Post, along with the other corporate media outlets, has long played its part in the global elite’s program to ensure that democracy – and hence any meaningful role in how we are governed – cannot flourish. But for a detailed critique of the corporate media exposing its role in perpetrating elite power by distributing elite propaganda as ‘news’, see Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media.

Hence, while increasing numbers of people are lamenting the submissive response to elite initiatives to imprison us in our own homes (and strip us of rights and freedoms that it took centuries to win) – see, for example, ‘A Nation of Sheep’ and ‘To All Cowards Who Meekly Succumbed To the Unlawful Lockdown… Hang Your Heads In Shame’– and some authors have written commentaries illustrating and explaining the ways in which people’s fear is manifesting in response to a simple virus – see Dr. Rudolf Hänsel’s explanation in ‘The Diabolical “Game” with Fear as an Instrument of Domination. The Reflex of Obedience’and Dr. Pascal Sacré’s thoughts in ‘COVID-19: An Ocean of Fears and Lies’– my own interest lies in explaining why people are fearfully and submissively obedient in the first place and how we can go about restoring agency to the individual’s life so that they can use their own investigatory and analytical capacities to track down and consider the evidence, and to then act sensibly and powerfully in response.

While, regrettably, this cannot be done quickly, it is an essential component of any strategy to effectively resist elite encroachments on our rights, freedoms and economic security while also acting powerfully to deal with the genuine threats to human survival such as those posed by war, the environmental and climate catastrophes, biodiversity loss and the deployment of 5G, among others. See ‘Human Extinction Now Imminent and Inevitable? A Report on the State of Planet Earth’and, for astute insight into the disastrous impact that the global industrial shutdown is having on the aerosol masking effect and hence the global climate, see ‘Will COVID-19 Trigger Extinction of All Life on Earth?’

This is because fear suppresses (other) emotional responses (including the anger that would mobilize resistance), distorts sensory perception (so that people disbelieve, rather than consider carefully, evidence that contradicts the elite-driven narrative), inhibits analytical capacity, falsifies memory (to conform with explanations that are less frightening) and thwarts powerful behavioural responses. As a consequence of being victims of their own fear, most people live in a world of delusion and projection and are quite incapable of being anything but submissively obedient.

In brief, fear makes people want to believe, and hence to actually believe, that there is ‘nothing wrong’ with elite directives distributed by international organizations (such as the World Health Organisation), governments, the medical industry, education systems and the corporate media. This means that they do not have to feel and think for themselves, consult their conscience or change their own behaviour, each of which is particularly frightening when their fear and the (unconscious) imperative to obey already have them paralyzed.

So how have we ended up with a population of ‘individuals’ who are so devoid of any sense of Selfhood that they are submissively obedient as Drs Hänsel and Sacré discussed above and which we are now witnessing on a global scale as people are imprisoned in their own homes?

Fundamentally, this has occurred because our parenting and education models are based on terrorizing children into obedience using a combination of ‘visible’, ‘invisible’ and ‘utterly invisible’ violence. For the details of how we do this, see ‘Why Violence?’‘Fearless Psychology and Fearful Psychology: Principles and Practice’ and ‘Do We Want School or Education?’

Hence, while we pay lip service to the notion of ‘the individual’, the reality is that we prefer ‘individuals’ who follow the orders of ‘the authorities’, whether at home, school, work, in the military, at a religious gathering or as ‘citizens’ in society generally. After all, our definition of ‘individuality’ long ago ceased to mean any more than that the person clothes themself differently and has their own combination of interests to while away their spare time.

The genuine individual who has an integrated mind, trusts their own (emotional and intellectual) judgment, articulates the truth and behaves powerfully in accord with their conscience, whatever the cost, is only supposed to appear as a fictional character in novels or films. We certainly do not want them in real life. Just ask Mahatma Gandhi, Dr Martin Luther King Jr, Julian Assange and Chelsea Manning, for example. Shot dead or imprisoned for having the qualities of a genuine individual.

For further explanations of how we systematically destroy the individuality in our children, see

‘The Disintegrated Mind: The Greatest Threat to Human Survival on Earth’,

‘Most Attitudes and Beliefs are Outcomes of Fear’ and

‘The Psychology of Projection in Conflict’.

So here we are at the most important moment in human history. At the brink of precipitating our own extinction – again, see

‘Human Extinction Now Imminent and Inevitable? A Report on the State of Planet Earth’

and ‘Will COVID-19 Trigger Extinction of All Life on Earth?’

– and now imprisoned in our own homes (for those who have them) while the global elite implements more of its plan to reduce us from human individuals to digital identities that are readily tracked and controlled while playing our robotic role in the techno tyranny that is almost upon us.

Even those two writers of the classic dystopian novels of the twentieth century, Aldous Huxley and George Orwell, would be horrified that we participated so obediently, so submissively, in the destruction of our ‘free’ world (whatever its limitations). And I doubt they would get any solace from knowing just how well they truly understood the terrified and submissive nature of the human condition.

So with virtually everyone ‘distracted’ from the ‘main game’ – the coup in which the global elite is taking vastly greater control of our lives and even dramatically increasing the risk of imminent human extinction – while we sit back, or even ask for, greater restrictions on our rights and freedoms, the only important question remaining is this:

Can we mobilize sufficient people, even at this late moment, to strategically defend our humanity, defeat the elite coup and avert the imminent threats to human survival?

Unfortunately, as recent evidence clearly indicates, with even most activists obviously deceived by the use of COVID-19 as ‘cover’ for the coup and oblivious to its catastrophic environmental consequences,  this is proving far more difficult than I originally hoped.

Nevertheless, in the hope that we can build on the existing resistance, such as that being documented by Professor Chenoweth and her colleagues – see ‘The global pandemic has spawned new forms of activism – and they’re flourishing’– while sharpening its focus for greater strategic impact, let me reiterate a previously outlined strategy below, particularly taking into account the insanity of the global elite – see ‘The Global Elite is Insane Revisited’– and the emotional health issues (including anxiety and depression) that are arising during the lockdown that are now complicating people’s existing compulsion to be obedient in the belief that compliance with COVID-19 (that is, coup) measures will make them ‘safe’.

A Nonviolent Strategy to Fight for our Humanity, Liberty and Future

So, if you wish to address your own emotional health issues arising during the COVID-19 coup, consider ‘Putting Feelings First’ and/or, if you wish to support others, including children, to do so effectively, see ‘Nisteling: The Art of Deep Listening’.

In relation to the coup itself, I have identified the appropriate political purpose – obviously ‘To defend humanity against a political/military coup conducted by the global elite’– and set out a basic list of (now) 28 strategic goals for achieving this purpose (which will also play a vital role in tackling key threats to human survival). The first thirteen of these strategic goals are as follows:

(1) To cause people and groups all around the world to join the resistance strategy by wearing a global symbol of human solidarity, such as an image of several people of different genders/races/religions/abilities/classes holding hands.

(2) To cause people and groups all around the world to join the resistance strategy by boycotting all corporate media outlets (television, radio, newspapers, Google, Facebook, Twitter…) and by seeking news from progressive news outlets committed to telling the truth.

(3) To cause people and groups all around the world to join the resistance strategy by refusing to download the COVID-19 ‘contact tracing’ surveillance app.

(4) To cause people and groups all around the world to join the resistance strategy by ending their ownership and use of a mobile (cell) phone. See ‘EchoEarth: End Cell Phones on Earth’ and ‘Cancel Your Cellphone Account Day, 20-21 June 2020’.

(5) To cause people and groups all around the world to join the resistance strategy by withdrawing all funds from the corporate banks that are supporting the coup and to deposit their money in local community banks or credit unions.

(6) To cause people and groups all around the world to join the resistance strategy by boycotting the medical and pharmaceutical industries – including by conscientiously refusing to submit to vaccination – and by seeking health advice and treatment from natural therapists. (If you are unfamiliar with the different philosophies underpinning these approaches, and hence why many natural therapies are so much more effective, there is a straightforward explanation here: ‘Pasteur vs. Bechamp: An Alternative View of Infectious Disease’.)

(7) To cause people and groups all around the world to join the resistance strategy by boycotting corporate supermarkets and by supporting small and family businesses, and local markets.

(8) To cause people and groups all around the world to join the resistance strategy by participating in other locally relevant nonviolent action(s)/campaign(s) and/or constructive program activities. For this item and many subsequent, see the list of possible nonviolent actions in the document ‘198 Tactics of Nonviolent Action’.

(9) To cause the workers [in trade unions or labor organizations T1, T2, T…] all around the world to join the resistance strategy by participating in locally relevant nonviolent action(s)/campaign(s) and/or constructive program activities. For example, this might include withdrawing labor from an elite-controlled bank, media, pharmaceutical or other corporation operating in your country.

(10) To cause the small farmers and farmworkers [in organizations F1, F2, F…] all around the world to join the resistance strategy by participating in locally relevant nonviolent action(s)/campaign(s) and/or constructive program activities. For example, this might include distributing farm produce through (existing or created) grassroots networks to small and family businesses as well as local markets rather than through corporate supply chains.

(11) To cause the indigenous peoples [in organizations IP1,IP2, IP…] all around the world to join the resistance strategy by participating in locally relevant nonviolent action(s)/campaign(s) and/or constructive program activities. For example, this might include utilizing indigenous knowledge to improve local self-reliance in food production and in other ways.

(12) To cause the soldiers and military police [in army units AU1, AU2, AU… and MP1, MP2, MP…], wherever stationed around the world, to refuse to obey orders from the global elite and its agents to arrest, assault, torture and shoot nonviolent activists and the other citizens of [your country].

(13) To cause the police [in police units P1, P2, P…], wherever stationed around the world, to refuse to obey orders from the global elite and its agents to arrest, assault, torture and shoot nonviolent activists and the other citizens of [your country].

You can read all 28 of the ‘Strategic goals for defeating a political/military coup conducted by the global elite against humanity’ by scrolling down the page at ‘Strategic Aims’.

Remaining pages on the website fully explain the twelve components of the strategy, as illustrated by the Nonviolent Strategy Wheel, as well as articles and videos explaining all of the vital points of strategy and tactics, such as those to help you understand ‘Nonviolent Action: Why and How it Works’.

Given the complexity of the configuration of this conflict, however, which involves the need to fight simultaneously to retain our ‘deep humanity’, defeat the elite coup and avert near-term human extinction, it is important that our tactical choices are strategically-oriented (as the examples I cite in the thirteen strategic goals above illustrate). Hence, three further considerations assume importance.

First, choose/design tactics that have strategic impact, that is, they fundamentally and permanently alter, in our favor, the power relationship between the elite and us.

Second, when tactical choices are made, focus them on undermining the elite coup, not just features of it, such as ‘social distancing’ or the lockdowns. At its most basic, this can be achieved by using tactical choices that mobilize people to act initially, as is happening, but then inviting them to consider taking further, more focused, action as well (such as those nominated in the 28 strategic goals listed or referenced above). This is important because existing actions will have little impact on key underlying measures, such as those being taken by the elite to advance the fourth industrial revolution, which includes reducing us to a ‘digital identity’.

Third, I would choose/design tactics that also have strategic impact on the greatest threats to human survival, including the collapsing biodiversity on Earth, the threat of nuclear war, the climate catastrophe and the deployment of 5G. Given the incredibly short timeframe in which we are now working to avert human extinction, while people are mobilizing it is important to use this opportunity to give them the chance to perceive the ‘big picture’ of what is taking place – beyond lockdowns and other measures supposedly being used to tackle COVID-19 – and to act powerfully in response.

Equally importantly, the Nonviolent Strategy website explains how to prepare, frame and conduct any nonviolent action to minimize the risk of violent repression and, as some nonviolent activists are concerned, to contain any risk of damage to their cause by association with, or disruption by, those groups and provocateurs with a very different and possibly violent agenda. See ‘Nonviolent Action: Minimizing the Risk of Violent Repression’.

Fortunately, as more people become aware of the deeper strands of what is taking place, the energy to break the lockdowns and resist the coup will gather pace. As I have previously outlined, using a locally relevant focus, or perhaps several, for which many people would traditionally be together – a cultural or sporting event, a community activity such as working to establish a community garden to increase local self-reliance, a birthday celebration and/or a return to work – we can mobilize people to collectively resist.

In addition, as I mentioned above, given the pressing (and, possibly, now uncontainable) threat of human extinction but also because becoming more self-reliant is vital to our ongoing capacity to resist elite encroachments on our rights, freedom and economic security, consider accelerated participation in ‘The Flame Tree Project to Save Life on Earth’.

And for those nonviolent activists concerned about tackling the climate and/or other threats to human survival – including those in relation to the environment and war – you can read about nonviolent strategy, including strategic goals to focus your campaigns, from here: Strategic Aims.

Or, if you want something simpler, consider committing to:

Using COVID-19 as ‘cover’, the global elite is conducting a coup to take vastly greater control of our lives and, in fact, to neutralize our humanity. This is being made very easy by the compulsion to obey that most people acquire in response to the ‘socialization’ experience they suffered as a child.

As a result, there is very little resistance to the coup, and none of which I am aware that is strategically focused. Consequently, the coup is readily measured by the destruction of our rights, freedoms, emotional health, political participation and economic security as well as its devastating impact on the Earth, further complicating the already grave series of interrelated threats to our survival and that of vast numbers of other species with which we share this planet.

As you ponder your response to this coup and the vastly increased threat to our survival, it might be worth remembering the words of David Rockefeller in his autobiography Memoirs, published in 2003:

Some even believe [the Rockefeller family is] part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as “internationalists” and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.

If you believe that Rockefeller’s vision is benign from the viewpoint of people like you and me, it might be worth reading more about the Rockefeller family’s interests in our well-being, starting with the report from 2010 titled ‘Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development’ which discusses four scenarios for the human future in which one is based on ‘Lock Step’ following a pandemic: ‘A world of tighter top-down government control and more authoritarian leadership, with limited innovation and growing citizen pushback’.

Hence, if you share my concern that the time to act powerfully in defence of our humanity, to defeat this elite coup and to fight vigorously and strategically on the many interrelated crises that threaten human extinction, then you are welcome to become involved in one or more of the ways suggested above.

Whatever we do, however, it is vitally important that we do not submissively obey the global elite and its agents such as international organizations, governments, corporations and the mainstream media. The elite and its agents might wear a benign smile at times but their loyalty is not to us or to the Earth. They are too insane to have loyalty to either; their loyalty is to themselves exclusively and we are expendable.

So I gently encourage you to have a good look at the evidence for yourself and to act while we still have some personal autonomy and political space to do so. If we do not act now, we will not have this autonomy and space for much longer and human extinction will follow imminently.

In the race for a coronavirus vaccine, first doesn’t mean best | Jewish News Syndicate

A vaccine is seen as the Holy Grail of coronavirus research, but the first vaccine out to market may not be the one you want to take.

About 120 research groups from various countries are racing to develop vaccines for the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19). Several formulations have already advanced to human safety trials. Although the frontrunners in this race are American, British, Chinese, Japanese and German, Israel also has a few contenders.

However, vaccine development, like drug development, is a long and complicated process. And it doesn’t always succeed, explains industry expert Ron Ellis, editor in chief of “Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics” and a vaccine development consultant.

“In 1984, the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services announced that an AIDS vaccine was right around the corner, yet 35 years later we’re not remotely close to an AIDS vaccine,” said Ellis.

An Israeli resident since 2008, Ellis was the project leader for six successful vaccines—including Gardasil for human papilloma virus, VARIVAX for varicella (chickenpox) and RotaTeq for rotavirus—that cumulatively generate about $5 billion in sales annually.

He admits he’s also “presided over many failures” in his long career. That’s the nature of this business.

‘We don’t know if it’s possible’

“We don’t know yet that it’s possible to make a coronavirus vaccine,” Ellis acknowledged.

“It requires perfection. There are at least eight types of vaccines being developed. We’ll only know when the first one succeeds in preventing infection.”

The road from discovery to market for the rotavirus vaccine was about 15 years; for the varicella vaccine, 25 years.

“You can slice years off of clinical development—if you don’t worry about fully proving safety and efficacy,” said Ellis. “If you do it by the book, it takes many years.”

In the clinical phase alone, assuring that a vaccine doesn’t cause adverse effects in more than 1 in 10,000 people ordinarily requires safety trials on more than 30,000 participants. (In fact, in the United States, AstraZeneca and the federal Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority plan to test an investigational vaccine on 30,000 volunteers this summer.)

“There have been vaccines that caused a 1 in 10,000 risk of a serious side effect and were taken off the market because that’s too high,” said Ellis, citing the 1976 swine flu vaccine as one example.

“For a worldwide pandemic, the acceptable risk tolerance may be set lower. It’s a very hard moral dilemma between what’s good for the public now and what’s safe in the long run.”

‘First vaccine may protect 50 percent’

Hebrew University virologist Prof. Amos Panet believes at least one COVID-19 vaccine could be on the market within 12 to 18 months.

That’s because so many labs are working toward a solution with immense governmental and foundation investment, and because regulatory agencies are willing to fast-track approval processes.

However, the first COVID-19 vaccines “might not be the best, and might work in 50 percent of those vaccinated,” said Panet. They would likely be given to people at risk: healthcare workers, older people and those with underlying diseases.

“Usually, if a vaccine doesn’t reach 95 percent efficacy in the population it is not approved. For corona there will be a lower threshold. And then better vaccines will come to market perhaps two years later.”

One reason vaccine development usually takes so long, he said, is that vaccines are for healthy adults and children, as opposed to drugs for illnesses where benefits may outweigh risks.

“The level of safety has to be 100 percent, not 99,” he says. “With a vaccine you take no risks.”

Some vaccines are risky because they have an added adjuvant—a compound that stimulates the immune system but can stimulate it too much and cause damage.

“With corona, we don’t know yet if we need the adjuvant or not. If not, I expect the development process will be much faster,” says Panet, whose lab is studying why some coronavirus patients suffer a severe immune reaction in their lungs, and which drugs could block it.

He also observes that although sub-strains of COVID-19 have evolved in different countries, the virus changes slowly enough that probably “we can develop a vaccine against it that lasts” in contrast to the yearly flu vaccine.

Vaccines for the masses

In the end, how fast a vaccine gets to market largely depends on how regulators handle issues of efficacy and safety.

“Proving vaccines work means preventing infection,” said Ellis. “Usually you wait for the next outbreak and do a field study of the vaccine versus a placebo. You immunize thousands of people and hopefully show that you have fewer cases in the vaccine group than in the control group. But we don’t know when the next corona season will be, so some people say it doesn’t make sense to wait.”

An alternative method is a challenge study, where the vaccine or placebo is administered to large groups of healthy young people followed by administration of live virus to see if infection is prevented.

Ellis said clinicians and regulators would need to decide on an ethical way to perform a coronavirus challenge study, as has been done in the past for influenza.

Once a vaccine is proven effective, the story isn’t over.

“It’s one thing to have a credible vaccine and another to prepare millions of doses,” said Panet.

Big pharma such as J&J are already preparing for mass production of a corona vaccine. Smaller labs and companies will probably license their vaccines to big pharma companies with the necessary scaleup and production capability.

Panet added that the Israeli government is considering building a large vaccine production facility that could be ready within half a year to manufacture vaccines developed domestically.

Former Israeli Health Minister: The COVID-19 Response Has Been “Monstrous Hysteria” Reaching to the Irrational — The Gateway Pundit

Dr. Andrew Bostom tweeted out an important interview today with former Israeli Director of Israel’s Health Ministry.

Yoram Lass lambastes the “monstrous hysteria” over the Coronavirus pandemic and compares the disease numbers to the average flu.

The interview was posted on Spiked Online.

Dr. Andrew Bostom: oram Lass, former Dir of Israel’s Health Ministry on “monstrous hysteria” of Covid19: “This is nothing more than a flu epidemic if you care to look at the numbers & data, but people who are in a state of anxiety are blind.”

”Mortality due to coronavirus is a fake number. Most people are not dying from coronavirus…the number of infected people is fake, bec it depends on the number of tests.. only real number is the total # of deaths – all causes of death, not just coronavirus.”

“Every winter we get what is called an excess death rate… CV comes very fast, but it also goes away very fast. The flu wave is shallow as it takes 3mos to pass.. CV season, we have had an excess mortality which is about 15% larger than the epidemic of regular flu in 2017”

“Compared to that (15%) rise, the draconian measures are of biblical proportions. Hundreds of millions of people are suffering.. More people will die from the measures than from the virus. And the people who die from the measures are the breadwinners.”

“Among the people who die from coronavirus, the median age is often higher than the life expectancy of the population.. What has been done is not proportionate… People are brainwashed. They do not listen to the data. And that includes governments”

“anyone but Prof Ferguson will tell you that lockdown cannot change the final # of infected people.. look at Sweden. No lockdown and no collapse of hospitals. The argument for the lockdown collapses”

“in 2017, 25,000 Italians died from flu complications. Now you have around 30,000 dying from coronavirus. So it is a comparable number. You should not ruin a country for comparable numbers”

“If you look at the 1950s, we had the Asian flu. In the 1960s, there was the Hong Kong flu. These were worse than this pandemic.”

“The (corona)virus, like the influenza virus, is saying farewell to western Europe for sure…nothing can justify this destruction of people’s lives. It is unbelievable”

We are starting to see more and more doctors and experts coming out with the facts on this panic-porn pandemic.
Thank goodness they are speaking out against the global insanity.

Microsoft: Attackers Using COVID-19, Johns Hopkins to Infect Computers — Christian Research Network

(Newsmax)  Microsoft’s Security Intelligence team is warning of a malicious email campaign, in which people are receiving messages claiming to originate from the Johns Hopkins Center with attachments that are alleged to contain statistics on COVID-19 cases, but instead, when opened, install and run attacks on computer systems.

The email phishing campaign was detailed by Microsoft’s Security Intelligence team on Twitter. Microsoft said that the messages have been circulating since at least May 12, reports Techspot….

The topic of COVID-19 is used to lure users into opening both the email and the attachment.

“We’re tracking a massive campaign that delivers the legitimate remote access tool NetSupport Manager using emails with attachments containing malicious Excel 4.0 macros,” Microsoft’s Security Intelligence Team said on Twitter. “The Covid-19 themed campaign started on May 12 and has so far used several hundreds of unique attachments.”  View article →

CDC: COVID-19 Death Rate Far Lower Than Previously Thought | The New American

CDC: COVID-19 Death Rate Far Lower Than Previously Thought

The federal government is finally admitting what many observers have suspected all along: The average American’s chances of dying from COVID-19 are extremely small. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) latest best estimate of the death rate for individuals with COVID-19 symptoms is just 0.26 percent, slightly higher than that of the seasonal flu.

The CDC offers five estimates in its latest “COVID-19 Pandemic Planning Scenarios,” which are “designed to help inform decisions by modelers and public health officials who utilize mathematical modeling.” Its “current best estimate” is that the symptomatic case fatality ratio (CFR) for all Americans is 0.4 percent and that 35 percent of those who get the virus are asymptomatic. Thus, the infection fatality rate (IFR) is 0.4 percent of the 65 percent who actually have symptoms, which comes to just 0.26 percent.

This is, of course, considerably lower than the CDC’s March forecast, which, assuming an IFR of 0.8 percent, called for up to 1.7 million deaths from COVID-19 in the United States. The Imperial College estimate of Dr. Neil Ferguson — whose computer code experts have called “totally unreliable” — assumed an IFR of 0.9 percent, leading to a forecast of as many as 2.2 million American deaths. State and local officials, acting on these projections, issued shelter-in-place orders, shuttered “nonessential” businesses, and otherwise made life miserable for the people they serve.

Now that the CDC has actual case data, the outlook for coronavirus fatalities appears much less bleak. Conservative Review’s Daniel Horowitz observes:

Ultimately we might find out that the IFR is even lower because numerous studies and hard counts of confined populations have shown a much higher percentage of asymptomatic cases. Simply adjusting for a 50% asymptomatic rate would drop their fatality rate to 0.2% — exactly the rate of fatality Dr. John Ionnidis of Stanford University projected.

More importantly … the overall death rate is meaningless because the numbers are so lopsided. Given that at least half of the deaths were in nursing homes, a back-of-the-envelope estimate would show that the infection fatality rate for non-nursing home residents would only be 0.1% or 1 in 1,000. And that includes people of all ages and all health statuses outside of nursing homes….

The CDC estimates the death rate from COVID-19 for those under 50 is 1 in 5,000 for those with symptoms, which would be 1 in 6,725 overall, but again, almost all those who die have specific comorbidities or underlying conditions. Those without them are more likely to die in a car accident. And schoolchildren, whose lives, mental health, and education we are destroying, are more likely to get struck by lightning.

Skepticism of the CDC’s numbers is certainly warranted. The agency is known to have counted suspected COVID-19 deaths as actual COVID-19 deaths, and hospitals have a significant monetary incentive to do likewise. But given that most of the fudging seems to have made the pandemic appear worse than it actually is, when the CDC comes out with figures that seem anything but alarmist, they probably deserve some consideration.

CNN, for whom real or imagined crises are its bread and butter, found a skeptic of a different sort in Carl Bergstrom. “While most of these numbers are reasonable, the mortality rates shade far too low,” the University of Washington biologist told the news channel.

Bergstrom based his skepticism on the high COVID-19 death rate in New York City, and certainly if one were to examine solely the data from the Big Apple, the CDC’s estimate would look “far too low.” New York, however, is an outlier. It is a densely populated city with a very busy public-transportation system. It had some maxed-out hospitals — excellent places to transmit the virus to others — and, thanks to an order from Governor Andrew Cuomo, shoved many COVID-19 patients into nursing homes with predictably deadly results. Look at the rest of the country, particularly outside of nursing homes, and the CDC’s estimate seems quite plausible.

Whether correct or not, the CDC’s pronouncements are frequently treated as gospel by government officials and the mainstream media. This latest estimate, if received with the same reverence, should put an end to both the hysteria surrounding the virus and “lockdown nation.”

“Like It Was Designed To Infect Humans”: COVID-19 ‘Cell Culture’ Theory Gains Steam | ZeroHedge News

A scientific study which found COVID-19 may have been a “cell-culture” uniquely adapted for transmission to humans (more so than any other animal – including bats), is gaining steam.

The paper, currently under peer review, comes from Flinders University Professor Nikolai Petrovsky, who has spent over two decades developing vaccines against influenza, Ebola, and animal Sars. He says his findings allow for the possibility that COVID-19 leaked from a laboratory, according to Sky News.

“The two possibilities which I think are both still open is that it was a chance transmission of a virus from an as yet unidentified animal to human. The other possibility is that it was an accidental release of the virus from a laboratory,” said Petrovsky, adding “Certainly we can’t exclude the possibility that this came from a laboratory experiment rather than from an animal. They are both open possibilities.”

Professor Petrovsky, who is the Chairman and Research Director of Vaxine Pty Ltd, said COVID-19 has genetic elements similar to bat coronaviruses as well as other coronaviruses.

The way coronavirus enters human cells is by binding to a protein on the surface of lung-cells called ACE2. The study showed the virus bound more tightly to human-ACE2 than to any of the other animals they tested.

It was like it was designed to infect humans,” he said.

“One of the possibilities is that an animal host was infected by two coronaviruses at the same time and COVID-19 is the progeny of that interaction between the two viruses. –Sky News

“The same process can happen in a petri-dish,” added Petrovsky. “If you have cells in culture and you have human cells in that culture which the viruses are infecting, then if there are two viruses in that dish, they can swap genetic information and you can accidentally or deliberately create a whole third new virus out of that system.”

“In other words COVID-19 could have been created from that recombination event in an animal host or it could have occurred in a cell-culture experiment.”

In January, Petrovsky began modeling the virus to try and create a vaccine candidate. According to the report, he then began to explore “what animal species might have been involved in the transmission to humans” in order to better understand the origins of the virus, when he discovered how well it infects humans over other species.

We found that the COVID-19 virus was particularly well-adapted to bind to human cells and that was far superior to its ability to bind to the cells of any other animal species which is quite unusual because typically when a virus is well-adapted to an animal and then it by chance crosses to a human, typically, you would expect it to have lower-binding to human cells than to the original host animal. We found the opposite so that was a big surprise,” he said.

When asked why mainstream scientists are still clinging to the theory that the virus originated in a Wuhan wet market, he said that scientists “try not to be political” but that that scientists who support the lab escape theory risk negatively impacting their industry with tighter laboratory controls.

“For instance, if it was to turn out that this virus may have come about because of an accidental lab release that would have implications for how we do viral research in laboratories all around the world which could make doing research much harder,” he said, adding “So I think the inclination of virus researchers would be to presume that it came from an animal until proven otherwise because that would have less ramifications for how we are able to do research in the future. The alternative obviously has quite major implications for science and science on viruses, not just obviously political ramifications which we’re all well aware of.”

Petrovsky has called for immediate investigation now, and not when the pandemic is over – calling any delay in fact finding a “mistake.”

“I’m certainly very much in favour of a scientific investigation. It’s only objective should be to get to the bottom of how did this pandemic happen and how do we prevent a future pandemic…. not to have a witch-hunt.”

BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: As Soon As Simona Mangiante Papadopoulos Testified that Joseph Mifsud Worked For the Clinton Foundation, She Was Brutally Targeted and Harassed By the Left — The Gateway Pundit

Simona Mangiante Papadopoulos was a young, intelligent and beautiful Italian woman when she met George Papadopoulos in 2016.

Her life was soon turned upside down. The man she loved was targeted by the Deep State and then the FBI had the audacity to ask young Ms. Mangiante to spy on her husband.

But as soon as the young Italian started discussing her former boss Joseph Mifsud and his ties to the Clinton Foundation, things really got bad.

Yesterday we reported on Simona Mangiante Papadopoulos and her rise to fame from her beginnings in Caserta, Italy, to her marriage to George Papadopoulos in March, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois.  The Papadopoulos’s met online after both working for the London Centre of International Law Practice. They both worked with Joseph Mifsud. Simona called Mifsud “sneaky” and in her testimony before Congress that was recently and finally released by House Democrats, Simona reported that Mifsud worked for the Clinton Foundation.

On Sunday we reported the Deep State FBI asked young Simona, now a model, to spy on her husband!

The Gateway Pundit recently obtained text messages between an anonymous source and Ms. Papadopoulos.  After reaching out to Ms. Papadopoulos, she confirmed that the FBI asked her to spy on her husband!

But what happened next was even more egregious.

According to Simona, in a discussion with the Gateway Pundit, if you look at the time line after she talked about the Mifsud connection to the Clintons in July, 2018 to Congress, you will see that she became a target of the Deep State.  She said she was, “Just doing my best … to help this country [the US]”.

A guy by the name of Scott Stedman, a young ambitious journalist, who later dedicated two chapters in a book to Simona Papadopoulos, claimed that she lived in an expensive apartment in London when she first moved there.  Simona says, “So what?” She claims she had just moved there and after working for seven years for the EU as an attorney, her rent was not out of the ordinary.  She claims that this Stedman character [who appears to promote fake news as well as the mainstream media] criticized her because she was already studying acting, he implied that she was more than a lawyer in London (i.e. a spy).

Stedman began writing about Ms. Papadopoulos soon after she went before Congress and explained under oath that Joseph Mifsud worked for the Clinton Foundation.

Simona knew that Mifsud was linked to the Clinton Foundation.  The liberal mainstream media could not let this news leak out!

This news about Mifsud was hidden by the Democrats in Congress until recently when they were forced to release the secret transcripts thanks to Acting DNI Richard Grenell.

Of course Stedman slandered the Trump Administration and family as often as possible and pushed the false Trump-Russia narrative as well.

Soon after Simona testified in front of Congress stating that Mifsud worked with the Clintons, she was attacked by Stedman and the left.

The left began using all efforts to criticize and besmirch Ms. Papadopoulos.

An audio tape came out of Mifsud after he went into hiding in 2019.  Ms. Papadopoulos, who worked with Papadopoulos, told The Gateway Pundit that she believes it is not his voice in the audio recording.

Simona has heard rumors and accounts that Mifsud is hanging around Rome and was recently reportedly identified near Milan.  He has been in hiding since the early days of the Trump Presidency and the beginnings of the Deep State’s attempted coup of the President of the United States of America.

Americans want justice and are patiently waiting for those involved in the coup attempt of President Trump to be held accountable.

Ms. Papadopoulos was targeted, along with her husband, by the Deep State because they knew too much about the Obama and Clinton ties to the Russia Collusion lie.  And now they are speaking about their horrific ordeal.

‘Bat Woman’ Warns Just Tip of Iceberg… | Bloomberg

Shi Zhengli inside the P4 laboratory in Wuhan.

Shi Zhengli, a virologist renowned for her work on coronavirus in bats, said in an interview on Chinese state television that viruses being discovered now are “just the tip of the iceberg” and called for international cooperation in the fight against epidemics.

Known as China’s “bat woman,” the deputy director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology said research into viruses needs scientists and governments to be transparent and cooperative, and that it is “very regrettable” when science is politicized.

“If we want to prevent human beings from suffering from the next infectious disease outbreak, we must go in advance to learn of these unknown viruses carried by wild animals in nature and give early warnings,” Shi told CGTN. “If we don’t study them there will possibly be another outbreak.”

Her interview with TV channel CGTN coincided with the start of the National People’s Congress, an annual meeting of China’s top leadership in Beijing. This year’s NPC comes as the country’s relationship with the U.S. turns increasingly frayed, with President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Michael Pompeo both saying the coronavirus sweeping the world is likely linked to the Wuhan laboratory.

China has rejected the accusations. Shi has said that the genetic characteristics of the viruses she’s worked with didn’t match those of the coronavirus spreading in humans. In a social media post, she wrote she would “swear on my life” the pandemic had nothing to do with her lab. In another interview with CGTN over the weekend, the director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Wang Yanyi, said the idea that the virus escaped from the lab was “pure fabrication.”

The outbreak has infected more than 5.4 million people worldwide and killed over 345,000.

500 Doctors Tell Trump To End COVID-19 Shutdown, Warn It Will Cause More Deaths — Christian Research Network

(Joseph Curl – Daily Wire)  On March 22, President Trump took to Twitter and typed out a message in all-caps: “WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF. AT THE END OF THE 15 DAY PERIOD, WE WILL MAKE A DECISION AS TO WHICH WAY WE WANT TO GO!”

That was more than a month ago. And while all 50 states have begun to take some steps toward reopening shuttered businesses and closed restaurants, the pace is achingly slow.

Now, 500 doctors have banded together to tell Trump  to mandate an end the coronavirus shutdown, saying it is a “mass casualty incident” that will cause more death and destruction than the virus itself. View article →

Fighting for our isolated warriors: How you can help a vet today — Denison Forum

On Memorial Day, when we remember our fallen heroes, let’s not forget the plight of our surviving veterans during the coronavirus pandemic.

As Christians, we are called to serve “the least of these”—people in need—and many veterans have special needs during this time.

Veterans homes, like other nursing homes, have been the sites of some of the worst outbreaks in the country, including more than seventy deaths at a facility in New Jersey.

Unemployment among veterans rose to nearly 12 percent in April, and the economic situation has become so dire that House Democrats recently proposed setting up tent cities for homeless veterans in the parking lots of VA hospitals.

The emotional toll is more insidious.

Many combat veterans suffer from PTSD, and about seventeen veterans a day commit suicide in this country, even during normal times.

The effects of combat-related trauma run deep, down to the warrior’s very heart and soul. I know this from personal experience, having served four tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The war after the war

When my last deployment ended, I left Afghanistan and the war. But, like many who have been in combat, I found that Afghanistan and the war hadn’t left me.

Everyone experiences the aftereffects of combat differently. There are, however, a few classic symptoms: anger, insomnia, obsessive-compulsive behavior, and flashbacks. A sudden sound like a siren going off can send you into “mission mode,” with a pounding heartbeat and burst of adrenaline.

At one point or another, I suffered from all of these symptoms. Eventually, I got help, and there are some wonderful organizations that help veterans, but many veterans aren’t as fortunate as I was.

There aren’t enough people and systems to help, and veterans keep falling through the cracks.

Struggling with isolation

Today, as the founder of a Christian nonprofit called SOF Missions, I work with veterans.

They’re struggling to deal with social isolation and the disruption to their daily lives during the pandemic. They have trouble sleeping and miss social gatherings and physical activities. Many have lost jobs and are coping, unfortunately, by using drugs and alcohol.

Some of these veterans had already isolated themselves from their friends and family because it’s hard for them to communicate to non-veterans about combat experiences and post-combat struggles.

They want to belong to a community with a sense of camaraderie. It’s something they had in the service and something they want when they get out. But, during the pandemic, counseling sessions and support groups have had to move online. The VA and many nonprofits around the country have quickly changed the way they do business to meet this new reality, but veterans still miss the human touch.

The adjustment is particularly hard for older veterans who aren’t comfortable using a laptop or mobile device. Forced into isolation, they are even more likely to experience loneliness, depression, and anxiety.

Pray, call, help

In Florida, where I’m stationed, there are more than 1.5 million veterans.

SOF Missions has partnered with other nonprofits to distribute COVID Care Kits, including a face mask, gloves, a movie, popcorn, a gift card for a warm meal, and a handwritten letter of encouragement. Local groups deliver the kits while social distancing, and the veterans can reach out to us if they need to talk.

But many needs remain, and you can help.

Call vets you know, pray for them, or volunteer with a veterans’ group.

May 25 The Interpreter: Spurgeon’s Devotional Bible

May 25.—Morning. [Or October 16.]
“Ye are the temple of the living God.”

1 Kings 5:1–11; 13–18

AND Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover of David.

Fast friends are rare. It was a happy thing for Solomon that his father bequeathed him the love of so useful an ally.

And Solomon sent to Hiram, saying,

Thou knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the Lord his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the Lord put them under the soles of his feet. (Like a good son who honoured his father, he does not say that David could not build the temple because lie had shed blood, but because he was busy with wars. We ought always to speak the best things of parents.)

But now the Lord my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.

And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name.

Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians. (The tabernacle, which was temporary, could be erected by Jews only; but the temple, which was to be permanent, is not built without the aid of Gentiles. Jews and Gentiles together make up the church which is the temple of God.)

7, 8 ¶ And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed be the Lord this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people. And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things which thou sentest to me for: and I will do all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of fir. (We ought to weigh well what we promise, and then we shall be the more likely to be true to our word. It is well when our second thoughts are full of liberality towards the cause of God.)

My servants shall bring them down from Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt appoint me, and will cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receive them: and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household. (Palestine was a fruitful agricultural country, and thus Solomon would do Hiram a service by paying him in provisions.)

10 So Hiram gave Solomon cedar trees and fir trees according to all his desire. (When God’s house is to be built, he will surely find all that is needful for it.)

11 And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat for food to his household, and twenty measures of pure oil: thus gave Solomon to Hiram year by year.

13, 14 ¶ And king Solomon raised a levy out of all Israel; and the levy was thirty thousand men. And he sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month by courses: a month they were in Lebanon, and two months at home: and Adoniram was over the levy.

15, 16 And Solomon had threescore and ten thousand that bare burdens, and fourscore thousand hewers in the mountains; Beside the chief of Solomon’s officers which were over the work, three thousand and three hundred, which ruled over the people that wrought in the work.

17 And the king commanded, and they brought great stones, costly stones, and hewed stones, to lay the foundation of the house.

Even the foundation stones were not rugged and rough, but hewn and costly. God would have everything which is done for him done well. He careth not so much for that which meets the eye of man, he delights himself with the beauty of those living stones of his spiritual temple which are hidden away from observation.

18 And Solomon’s builders and Hiram’s builders did hew them, and the stonesquarers: so they prepared timber and stones to build the house. (So the stones and timbers came to their places prepared, and no sound of axe or hammer was heard. Here below the fitting us for heaven is a work of toil and noise, but in heaven all will be rest and quietness. May the Lord prepare us to be built into his temple above.)

May 25.—Evening. [Or October 17.]
“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house.”

2 Chronicles 3

THEN Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Oman the Jebusite.

This was the place where Abraham offered up Isaac, and near by the spot where the Lord Jesus suffered as the Lamb which God had provided for sacrifice. The place of sacrifice and atonement is the ordained position of the Church of God.

And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

¶ Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.

And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.

And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.

And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim. (The timber work was costly, but yet it was overlaid with pure gold, of the best kind, and this was adorned with precious stones. The Lord’s church is not to be built without vast cost, for it is very precious in his eyes.)

7, 8, 9 He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls. And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents. And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.

10 And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.

11 ¶ And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.

12 And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.

13 The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.

Did these symbolize angels? We think so: and they are here represented as standing on their feet as servants, and not as sitting upon thrones like gods. We do not worship angels, but we worship with angels, joining in their solemn hymn of praise unto the Lord of all.

14 ¶ And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon. (This veiled the sanctuary, for it was a dark dispensation, and the way into the holiest was not yet manifest.)

15, 16 Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits. And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.

17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin (he will establish), and the name of that on the left Boaz (or, in him is strength). These were vast columns intended for glory and for beauty. The Church is the noblest design of the Great Architect. Holy Scripture gives us a full account of the various parts of the temple, and the different articles of furniture. Everything was ordained of God, and full of instruction, and the effect of the whole must have been beyond measure magnificent.)

Go, worship at Immanuel’s feet,

See in himself what glories meet,

No gold or cedar can express

His worth, his glory, and his grace.

Is he a temple? I adore

Th’ indwelling majesty and power;

And still to this most holy place,

Whene’er I pray I turn my face.[1]

Guccifer 2.0’s Hidden Agenda

Article Image
 • https://www.zerohedge.com, by Tim Leonard

In December, I reported on digital forensics evidence relating to Guccifer 2.0 and highlighted several key points about the mysterious persona that Special Counsel Robert Mueller claims was a front for Russian intelligence to leak Democratic Party emails to WikiLeaks:

Guccifer 2.0 fabricated evidence to claim credit for hacking the DNC (using files that were really Podesta attachments).

Guccifer 2.0’s Russian breadcrumbs mostly came from deliberate processes & needless editing of documents.

Guccifer 2.0’s Russian communications signals came from the persona choosing to use a proxy server in Moscow and choosing to use a Russian VPN service as end-points (and they used an email service that forwards the sender’s IP address, which made identifying that signal a relatively trivial task.)

considerable volume of evidence pointed at Guccifer 2.0’s activities being in American timezones (twice as many types of indicators were found pointing at Guccifer 2.0’s activities being in American timezones than anywhere else).

The American timezones were incidental to other activities (eg. bloggingsocial mediaemailing a journalistarchiving files, etc) and some of these were recorded independently by service providers.

A couple of pieces of evidence with Russian indicators present had accompanying locale indicators that contradicted this which suggested the devices used hadn’t been properly set up for use in Russia (or Romania) but may have been suitable for other countries (including America).

5 economic statistics that show the financial devastation of the pandemic for average Americans | Business Insider

  • The coronavirus pandemic has plunged the US into its worst recession in nearly a century.
  • Millions of people have lost their jobs and their employer-sponsored health insurance due to the pandemic.
  • Outlined below are five economic statistics that capture the financial devastation among ordinary Americans.

The coronavirus pandemic has thrown America into it’s worst economic downturn since the Great Depression nearly a century ago.

The recession has caused scores of small businesses to close permanently and many people to lose their jobs. As a result, millions of people no longer have access to employer-sponsored health insurance. Meanwhile, Congress is deeply divided on the shape of the next federal rescue package after passing nearly $3.5 trillion in spending so far.

Outlined below are five economic statistics that illustrate the financial devastation due to the pandemic among ordinary Americans.

Nearly 39 million people have filed for unemployment over the last nine weeks.

A staggering amount of people sought unemployment benefits since the start of the outbreak — around 39 million.

That surge helped send the jobless rate soar to its highest level since the Great Depression. Unemployment stands at 14.7% in the US as of last month. And it’s projected to remain high well into next year.

Nevada and Michigan had the highest rates of unemployment with a quarter of their labor force out of work, according to new data from the Labor Department.

The loss of nearly 20 million jobs so far compelled lawmakers to act swiftly to ramp up unemployment benefits for people. Back in March, Congress enacted a $600 boost to weekly benefits on top of what states already pay. It’s set to expire on July 31.

Democrats and Republicans are deeply divided on whether those benefits should be extended. Many in the GOP argue it disincentivizes work, while Democrats say the extra benefits are critical in keeping households afloat during the pandemic.

More Americans are having trouble paying rent, with one-in-five missing making their payments on time.

With layoffs mounting, more Americans are having trouble paying rent, CBS News reported.

Nearly 20% of renters missed making their monthly payment on time for May, according to statistics from the National Multifamily Housing Council.

But as the month went on, the data from NMHC shows more Americans are covering rent, suggesting people are benefiting from stimulus checks and enhanced unemployment benefits.

By May 20, nearly 90% of apartment households had paid rent, the NMHC reported.

Over 100,000 small businesses have permanently closed due to the pandemic.

Economists project over 100,000 small businesses have permanently closed their doors so far due to the pandemic, according to a recent study from researchers at Harvard University, the University of Chicago, Harvard Business School, and the University of Illinois.

Profit margins for small businesses are slimmer compared to larger ones, and experts say many more could be forced into bankruptcy in the coming months.

“We are going to see a level of bankruptcy activity that nobody in business has seen in their lifetime,” James Hammond, chief executive of New Generation Research, told the Washington Post. “This will hit everyone, but it will be harder for small businesses since they don’t have a lot of spare cash.”

At least 16.2 million people have lost their health insurance so far.

As layoffs mount, more people have lost their employer-sponsored health insurance.

The Economic Policy Institute, a left-leaning think-tank, projects at least 16.2 million people were booted off their health insurance so far.

Democrats have proposed expanding insurance subsidies under the Affordable Care Act and for the government cover COBRA insurance for newly unemployed people.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration and some Republican senators are reminding people that they can sign up for coverage under Obamacare, a law that President Trump has tried to eliminate since he assumed office.

40% of people in households earning less than $40,000 lost a job in March, according to the Federal Reserve.

A new Federal Reserve study released last week found that 40% of households earning less than $40,000 a year suffered a job loss during the pandemic.

Experts say the coronavirus outbreak has disproportionately affected low-income people, particularly blacks and Latinos.

African-Americans are more likely to have pre-existing conditions that amplify the deadliest effects of the virus, and work in positions that have fewer protections like paid sick leave or the ability to work from home.

Many blacks and Latinos work in high-contact industries like in service, retail, leisure, and hospitality, which have weathered drastic hits in the pandemic.

Memorial Day – What Our Heroes Teach Us About How to Fight Our Battles

For many Americans, Memorial Day represents the start of summer — the promise of warm, sunny days, evenings illuminated by fireflies, barbecues in the backyard, and trips to the beach. But Memorial Day is not actually about any of that.
