May 29 Wisdom

Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, … but let him … boast of this, that he understands and knows Me.
(Jeremiah 9:23–24, NASB)

Asmall factory had to stop its operation when a machine broke down. Nobody could fix it, so an expert was called. He simply took a hammer and tapped the machine at a certain spot, and immediately it began running again. But when he submitted a bill for $1,000, the supervisor hit the roof. “A thousand dollars for just tapping?” “No,” said the man, “One dollar for tapping; $999 for knowing where to tap!” There it is. You can wear yourself out, or you can ask God for wisdom, and He’ll show you how to do the right thing, at the right time, for the right purpose. He knows where to tap! Just ask Him.

James says that God’s wisdom “comes” from above (see James 3:17). Note three things: First, it comes from God; second, you have to ask for it; third, it comes daily. Have you asked God for His wisdom today? The biggest mistakes I’ve ever made had one thing in common: They were mine, not His! If I had taken time to seek God, I’d have gotten an entirely different result. Sound familiar? Listen again to these words: “Let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me” (Jeremiah 9:24, NASB).

The closer you get to Him, the better you’ll understand.[1]

10 Reasons to Pray — The Master’s Seminary Blog

Here are ten reminders for Christians about the vital need to cultivate a personal prayer life, as articulated by notable ministers from church history.

1. True effectiveness comes not through methods, but through prayer.

A. C. Dixon: When we rely upon organization, we get what organization can do; when we rely upon education, we get what education can do; when we rely upon eloquence, we get what eloquence can do, and so on. Nor am I disposed to undervalue any of these things in their proper place, but when we rely upon prayer, we get what God can do.1

D. L. Moody: Those who have left the deepest impression on this sin-cursed earth have been men and women of prayer.2

E. M. Bounds: What the Church needs today is not more machinery or better, not new organizations or more and novel methods, but men and women whom the Holy Ghost can use — people of prayer, people mighty in prayer.3

2. A man’s prayer-life is indicative of the state of his walk with the Lord.

John Owen: A minister may fill his pews, his communion roll, the mouths of the public, but what that minister is on his knees in secret before God Almighty, that he is and no more.4

Charles Spurgeon: I know of no better thermometer to your spiritual temperature than this, the measure of the intensity of your prayer.5

3. Prayer is a vital means of sanctification.

J. C. Ryle: Prayer and sinning will never live together in the same heart. Prayer will consume sin, or sin will choke prayer.6

John R. W. Stott: To pray is not only to be truly godly; it is also to be truly human. For here are human beings, made by God like God and for God, spending time in fellowship with God. So prayer is an authentic activity in itself, irrespective of any benefits it may bring us. Yet it is also one of the most effective of all means of grace. I doubt if anybody has ever become at all Christ-like who has not been diligent in prayer.7

4. Neglect in prayer leads to vulnerability in temptation.

J. C. Ryle: Bibles read without prayer; sermons heard without prayer; marriages contracted without prayer; journeys undertaken without prayer; residences chosen without prayer; friendships formed without prayer; the daily act of prayer itself hurried over, or gone through without heart: these are the kind of downward steps by which many a Christian descends to a condition of spiritual palsy, or reaches the point where God allows them to have a tremendous fall.8

John Owen: If we do not abide in prayer, we will abide in temptation. Let this be one aspect of our daily intercession: “God, preserve my soul, and keep my heart and all its ways so that I will not be entangled.” When this is true in our lives, a passing temptation will not overcome us. We will remain free while others lie in bondage.9

Charles Spurgeon (in a letter to his young son): One of my sweetest joys is to hear that a spirit of prayer is in your school, and that you participate in it. To know that you love the Lord and are mighty in prayer would be my crowning joy; the hope that you do so already is a happy one to me. I should like you to preach; but it is best that you pray; many a preacher has proved a castaway, but never one who has truly learned to pray.10

Take an online course on the practice of prayer today.

5. Busyness is never a valid excuse for neglecting prayer.

Martin Luther: Work, work from early until late. In fact, I have so much to do that I shall spend the first three hours in prayer.11

R. A. Torrey: We are too busy to pray, and so we are too busy to have power. We have a great deal of activity, but we accomplish little; many services but few conversions; much machinery but few results.12

6. Prayer relies on the power of the Spirit to accomplish His work in preaching the Word.

Charles Haddon Spurgeon: Shall I give you yet another reason why you should pray? Hitherto all other means have been used without effect. God is my witness how often I have striven in this pulpit to be the means of the conversion of men. I have preached my very heart out. . . . My hearers, I have done my utmost. . . . Will not your prayers accomplish that which my preaching fails to do? . . . Have we not tried to preach without trying to pray? Is it not likely that the church has been putting forth its preaching hand but not its praying hand? O dear friends! Let us agonize in prayer.13

7. Prayer stamps truth onto the heart.

John Bunyan: The truths that I know best I have learned on my knees. . . . I never know a thing well, till it is burned into my heart by prayer.14

8. Interceding for others reminds us that the Lord Jesus is also interceding for them and for us.

Robert Murray M’Cheyne: If I could hear Christ praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies. Yet distance makes no difference; He is praying for me.15

9. Prayer knits your heart to people.

William Law: There is nothing that makes us love a man so much as praying for him; and when you can do this sincerely for any man, you have fitted your soul for the performance of everything that is kind and civil toward him.16

Richard Baxter: We must not only pray for ourselves, but we must often pray on behalf of all our hearers. Prayer must carry on our work as well as preaching. He preaches not heartily to his people, who will not often pray for them.17

10. God calls Christians to pray boldly and also to work diligently.

Hudson Taylor: You may work without praying but you can’t pray without working.18

George Müller: Here is the great secret of success, my Christian reader. Work with all your might; but trust not in the least in your work. Pray with all your might for the blessing in God; but work at the same time with all diligence, with all patience, with all perseverance. Pray, then, and work. Work and pray. and still again pray, and then work. And so on, all the days of your life. The result will surely be abundant blessing. Whether you see much fruit or little fruit, such kind service will be blessed.19

May—29 The Poor Man’s Evening Portion

An old disciple.—Acts 21:16.

My soul! of what standing art thou in the Church of Christ? If there be any thing of real rank and dignity in human life, to cause one man to differ from another, certainly that age, which consisteth not in multitude of years, but in fellowship and long acquaintance with Jesus, must be most honourable. But in this, as is in all other distinctions, the believer’s dignity is the reverse of the world’s. He that is highest in grace is the lowest in humility. How beautiful and engaging to this point are the words of Christ: “Whosoever will be chief among you, (saith that divine teacher,) let him be your servant: even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” Hence the simplicity and lowliness of the weaned child, Jesus makes the character and feature of those that are “greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” And wherefore is this? Is it because of our spiritual attainments, or of our improvement in the divine life? Will our title to salvation be at length made out, from our having been such a time, or so long a season, with Jesus? Is he “an old disciple” who hath been so many years an attendant on ordinances, sacraments, hearing sermons, and the like? Is this the plan of counting years in the school of Christ; and by so much, as we can number our attendance on the means of grace and improvements under them, as we fancy in ourselves the progress of our own holiness, do we estimate an old disciple? Not so, my soul, is the scripture calculation of age in the divine life. There we read that “the children shall die a hundred years old, but the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed.” (Isaiah 65:20.) What is it then to be an “old disciple?” Surely he is one that is eldest, in having learned, from the continued teachings of God the Holy Ghost, to think less of himself, and more and more of Jesus. He advanceth the farthest in this scriptural age who is growing in grace, by growing in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. His every day’s experience brings him more acquainted with his own unworthiness, so as to endear the infinite merit of the Redeemer. He is truly an old disciple who is old in this science, of being more out of love with himself, and more in love with Jesus. For it is impossible, in this progress of the divine life, but to make advances in this exact proportion; and as the blessed Spirit exalts Christ to the view, and brings him home to the heart, by so much our self-confidence lessens; and the more glorious he appears, the more lowly we become in our own eyes. This is one rule to ascertain the real age of a disciple. And there is another like it. As those who have long lived in a family best know its government, and find themselves more at home in it, so the oldest disciples in Jesus’s household will best know how to improve a long and growing acquaintance with him, by coming to him for all they want, and making his glory the one great object of all their desire. And it will prove, indeed, that they are faithful to their Lord’s interest, when they not only lay out every thing for his praise, but receive every thing that he lays out that it may be for his glory. My soul! what sayest thou to this statement of things, in respect of the real age of the believer in Jesus? Art thou an “old disciple” of thy Lord?[1]

May 29 Life-Changing Moments With God

The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.

Lord God, indeed Your Lamb, Jesus, takes away the sin of the world … by His blood, the blood of the Lamb … the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission. The blood of Jesus Christ Your Son cleanses me from all sin.

With His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. Therefore, I have boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for me, through the veil, that is, His flesh. So I draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith.

I was bought at a price; therefore I glorify You, Lord God, in my body and in my spirit, which are Yours.

Lord God, You provided Your Son, the perfect Lamb, sacrificed for sin once and for all! May my life be an offering of thanksgiving!

May 29 The Sovereignty of God

Genesis 45:7–8

God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it was not you who sent me here, but God.

I’ve noticed, as I’ve studied the life of Joseph, that God is just as intimate to him as breath. God is so much a part of Joseph’s life that he sees the Lord in every circumstance, and he trusts the Lord through every difficulty. “God meant it for good,” he tells his brothers, “in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” Everything that happened to him, both bad and good, was viewed through the lens of God’s will.

When Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream, he said that it was God who gave him the meaning. When Joseph presented his sons to Jacob, he introduced them by saying, “These are the two sons God has given me.” Even when Joseph was dying, he was able to encourage those around him that “God will surely visit you.”

At the center of Joseph’s life was the sovereignty of God. Everything that happened was for His purposes and part of His program. Even the darkest threads in the weave help to provide the overall beauty of the tapestry.[1]

Most Americans Distrust the Media

Make no mistake: the media have been successful at shaping public opinion. I don’t want the media to report in favor of my worldview all the time, I’m just asking why not report truthfully – to both sides – and let the people decide. …Think about the state of today’s news media and why it’s been declining decade after decade. Now let’s look at just the first two principles of journalism: Journalism’s first obligation is to the truth, and its first loyalty is to citizens…

BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: According to Attorney the DNI Allegedly Has Call Records Between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks – It’s Now Presumed Brennan’s CIA Was More Involved Than We Thought — The Gateway Pundit

CIA Involvement in the Creation of the Russia Hack and Seth Rich Cover-up is now the focus of Group requesting the truth behind Trump-Russia collusion sham.

In June 2016, Ellen Nakashima, a Deep State favorite from the Washington Post, released a report that the Democrat National Committee (DNC) had been hacked by Russia. The firm that validated this was Crowdstrike and its President Shawn Henry confirmed the claims. In December 2016, Ms. Nakashima followed up her reporting with the outlandish claim that the CIA had determined that Russia hacked the DNC because Russia wanted Trump to win the election. Nakashima also reported that the the Intel Community had determined that Russia also sent the emails to WikiLeaks. This position was reinforced by the Mueller gang in their efforts to have President Trump removed from office.

WikiLeaks did release DNC emails related to John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Manager, in the months before the 2016 Presidential election which showed massive corruption combined with an elitist attitude from members of the Hillary Clinton team – all willing to do whatever it took to win the election.

The Trump – Russia collusion narrative never really passed the smell test to us.  It just sounded fraudulent from the start and even preposterous.

On March 8, 2020 and before on June 16, 2019, we presented arguments against the Mueller gang’s assertion that the DNC was hacked by Russians.

Cyber expert Yaacov Apelbaum posted an incredible report with information basically proving that the DNC was not hacked by the Russians.

Then, after years of being hidden by corrupt lying Representative Adam Schiff in Congress, a number of testimonies related to the Russia collusion sham were unveiled after Schiff received pressure from Richard Grenell, the Acting Director of National Intelligence (ADNI) to release the transcripts. One transcript was from Crowdstrike’s Shawn Henry who stated under oath that Crowdstrike had no evidence that Russia even “exfiltrated” the emails from the DNC. The whole ‘Russia stole the DNC emails and sent them to WikiLeaks’ story was a fraud.

Many people suspected that in 2016 a young man working for the DNC by the name of Seth Rich, copied emails from the DNC and shared them with WikiLeaks. Mr. Rich was murdered in Washington D.C. in July 2016 but his wallet, phone and watch were found on his person when the police arrived at the scene. We reported numerous oddities surrounding his death.

For years the Seth Rich story has been covered up and labeled a conspiracy. However, we reported numerous incidents and activities within the Deep State related to covering up the Seth Rich story. We recently reported that Judicial Watch released documents obtained in a FOIA request. These emails revealed that corrupt cops Peter Strzok and Jonathan Moffa were copied in an email regarding a report from Daily Mail where ex-Brit Craig Murray claimed he traveled to Washington DC and obtained Clinton emails in an exchange in a wooded area near American University.

(Here is a link to the article that was shared between the dirty cops.)

The Mueller gang never looked into the Seth Rich matter and never interviewed Julian Assange from WikiLeaks to determine who provided him the DNC emails which were reportedly the cause of the Russia collusion sham.

In a prior post related to this subject we detailed the many actions taken over the past few years to determine if Seth Rich was the one who provided emails to WikiLeaks.

Recently, transcripts of a conversation between George Papadopoulos and a confidential informant believed to be Stefan Halper were released by the DOJ. This transcript confirms that Papadopoulos was spied on and recorded, and that they discussed the WikiLeaks emails and likely Seth Rich.

We know from our previous reporting that a Deep State Anti-Trump former Assistant US Attorney claimed under oath that the FBI did examine Seth Rich’s computer and that she met with an FBI Agent and prosecutor from the Mueller gang. This indicates the meeting should have been recorded but the FBI continues to claim no records related to Seth Rich are available!

We reported in mid-February how Attorney Ty Clevenger, who represents a client who is being sued for his comments about Seth Rich, reported to the courts that despite numerous assurances from the FBI that they had no information related to Seth Rich, emails related to Seth Rich were identified and provided to Judicial Watch. It looked like the FBI was lying to Clevenger all this time.

(There is much, much more in our prior posts that refer to this matter. Please take a look.)

The May Shocker

In early May (as we reported at the time), Attorney Ty Clevenger wrote to Richard Grenell at the DNI and shared the following:

I am reliably informed that the NSA or its partners intercepted at least some of the communications between Mr. Rich and Wikileaks. Before elaborating on that, however, I should first note the extent to which the “deep state” has already tried to cover up information about Mr. Rich. In an October 9, 2018 affidavit submitted in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, FBI section chief David M. Hardy testified that (1) the FBI did not investigate any matters pertaining to Mr. Rich, and (2) the FBI was unable to locate any records about Mr. Rich. Both claims were unequivocally false.

According to Ty, the NSA, knows exactly who sent the records to Wikileaks. So does the FBI.

Today it is now suspected that the CIA had a more prominent role in the fabrication that Russians hacked the DNC and “fingerprints” were identified in the purported hacking.  A non-profit group by the name of ‘The Transparency Project” is requesting data from the CIA related to these actions.

After several years of investigative reporting we now know there is no evidence Russia hacked the DNC and sent the hacked emails to WikiLeaks.

Attorney Ty Clevenger asserts the DNI has been covering up for 4 years the fact that they have communications between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks.  Now it looks like the CIA had a more prominent role in the cover-up than previously known as well.

Amy Klobuchar once declined to prosecute Derek Chauvin, cop in Floyd death | New York Post

Former Democratic presidential candidate and potential vice presidential pick Amy Klobuchar failed to prosecute the police officer involved in George Floyd’s death while serving as a county attorney in 2006, prompting criticism of her law enforcement background.

Derek Chauvin, the officer seen on video with a knee on Floyd’s neck Monday as Floyd begged for air, was one of six officers who fatally shot 42-year-old Wayne Reyes in 2006 after the man brandished a shotgun at the cops, according to a report by Minneapolis watchdog group Communities United Against Police Brutality.

The shooting occurred during Klobuchar’s tenure as Hennepin County attorney, but the case didn’t go before a grand jury until after she left office and later became a Minnesota senator, the Star Tribune reports.

Do You Remember the MASS RIOTS AND LOOTING After Muslim Cop Mohamed Noor Shot Justine Damond Point Blank in the Chest in Minneapolis? — The Gateway Pundit

Somali American police officer Mohamed Noor shot Aussie Justine Damond in July 2017.

Damond called the police to report a possible assault down the alley behind her home.

When she went out to meet the police car in her pajamas Noor reached over his partner and shot her dead.

Mohamed was the first Somali officer in his precinct.

Damond was shot and killed while wearing her pajamas and speaking to another police officer. Damond called 911 that night to report a possible assault in an alley behind her home on July 15, reports The Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

Noor’s partner was described as “stunned” by the shooting.

In May 2019 Mohamed Noor was found guilty of third degree murder of Justine Damond (Ruszczyk).

Justine Damond was from Australia.

Data on police shootings show more whites are shot by police than blacks but blacks but adjusted to racial breakdowns blacks are more likely to be shot by police than whites.

Following her death by cop there were no riots.
There was no looting.
There was not even a mass protest.

Evidently, some deaths by cop are more outrageous than others.

George Floyd Was a Bible-Believing Christian with a History of Ministry Work — Faithwire

AP Photo/Jim MoneAP Photo/Jim Mone

Too often, the stories of lives lost become headlines we scroll through and statistics that end up in a heap of numbers. But we need to remember who they are; we need to know 46-year-old George Floyd.

He was choked to death by the knee of a police officer in Minneapolis on Monday. While most Americans know him through cell phone footage capturing his final moments, others — particularly those in ministry in his hometown of Houston — knew him to be a “person of peace” who, for decades, mentored young men living in rough areas, according to Christianity Today.

“He said, ‘I love what you’re doing. The neighborhood need it, the community need it, and if y’all about God’s business, then that’s my business,’” recalled hip-hop artist Corey Paul Davis, a personal friend of Floyd’s. “He said, ‘Whatever y’all need, wherever y’all need to go, tell ’em Floyd said y’all good. I got y’all.’”

Standing more than six feet tall, he was known as “Big Floyd” to his friends.

Floyd had a criminal history of his own and served a few stints behind bars for drug possession and armed robbery. But he had turned his life around. In fact, he was a model example of what it means to be rehabilitated.

According to the Houston Chronicle, he moved to Minneapolis in 2018 to leave behind his history in Houston for a new life — a fresh start — after having worked in ministry for nearly a decade in his hometown. He needed to find a job.

But during his time in Texas, Floyd was a force for good. He led a basketball outreach in the Third Ward, according to The Stream, and helped Resurrection Houston, an up-and-coming church at the time, secure space on a basketball court in the notoriously rough area for worship services.

In an undated, now-viral video, Floyd pleaded with young men in the next generation to put down their guns and stop the violence.

“Our young generation is clearly lost, man,” said Floyd. “I don’t even know what to say. … It’s clearly the generation after us, man, that’s so lost.”

To the young men who go out, thinking they’re tough for carrying a gun, Floyd added: “Come on home, man. One day, it’s gonna be you and God. You’re goin’ up or you’re goin’ down, you know what I’m sayin’? That’s gonna be it. … My heart hurts.”

Floyd seemed by all accounts to be a shining example of what it means to be rehabilitated. But he died Monday at the hands of a cop known for using too much force, reportedly because he paid for something at a local deli with a counterfeit bill.

Klobuchar Refused To Prosecute Officer at Center of George Floyd Case, Might Have Prevented Death
Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar has now been put on the hot seat for her actions that some have said led to the death of George Floyd, a black man who was killed after a police officer knelt on his neck for several minutes in Minneapolis this week. The senator used to be in charge of prosecution for the city on Minneapolis when she served as Hennepin County attorney prior to becoming a senator. When she was in that position she declined to prosecute many police officers who were accused of using excessive force, including the officer who has been blamed for Floyd’s death,

Only a small fraction of UFO reports collected globally over the past seven decades seem to describe such objects, but the Navy footage appears to fit the bill. Whether such objects are vehicles of alien invasion or not, their mere presence would seem to indicate a national security threat, which is partly what makes the Pentagon’s recent announcement so puzzling. This is the first time the Pentagon has publicly confirmed the authenticity of UFO footage. It should have been a momentous announcement, but it seems to have barely moved the needle on the UFO controversy. Why?

China Officially Votes To Revoke Hong Kong’s Autonomy On National Security Affairs
The Chinese government approved a resolution Thursday to impose national security laws on Hong Kong. The vote came after a week of deliberation in China’s largely rubber-stamp legislature, the National People’s Congress, and is referred to as the decision to “establish and enhance the legal framework and enforcement mechanisms for national security” in Hong Kong. The law allows state-security agencies from mainland China to operate in Hong Kong, overriding the authority of Hong Kong’s local government and allowing for China to more effectively punish political dissent, according to Fox Business.

Roving Bands Of Criminals Protesting Death Of George Floyd Have Rocked Minneapolis With Cascading Waves Of Arson, Violence And Looting
As you watch this horrific scene unfold, it is at once shocking and familiar to you. Shocking because you are watching the utter deprivation of humanity, depraved both in the killing of George Floyd as well as the waves of violence by hundreds of looters, thieves and arsonists in protest. Let’s call it for what it is, shall we? But taking just a small peek behind the curtain reveals to us another familiar character we’ve seen before in these back alleys of the end times, and he has much previous experience with financing and inciting these types of events.

Black Lives Matter Protests Explode In LA As Liberals Seek To Exploit Death Of George Floyd Who Died At The Hands Of Police Officers In Minneapolis
It is astounding to me, that after all the racial tensions of the past decade, that any police officer, black or white, in any police department in America, could do what police officers did in the death of George Floyd as they were arresting him. Even more shocking still is that the officers involved were fired, I think they should have been arrested. If you can’t trust the police, who are sworn to ‘protect and serve’, then peace in America is impossible. Maybe at this point, it’s impossible anyway.

GOP Plan Would Block Pay For Lawmakers Who Don’t Show Up For Work Amid Virus Panic — The Gateway Pundit

Congress is now holding votes by “proxy,” meaning lots of lawmakers don’t even show up to work as other members cast their votes for them.

That doesn’t fly with a group of Republicans.

“In the real world, if you don’t show up for your job, you don’t get paid. The same principle should apply to our country’s representatives,” says Rep. Ted Budd, North Carolina Republican. “If they don’t come to work, they shouldn’t receive their taxpayer-funded paycheck.”

A group of House Republicans on Thursday announced legislation to strip pay for lawmakers if they continue to follow House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s “proxy voting.”

“As of Thursday, 73 lawmakers had assigned their votes to someone else for at least some action this week,” The Washington Times reports.

House Republicans sued this week to block the plan, arguing it is unconstitutional because the Constitution requires lawmakers to be present to form a quorum. That lawsuit is in its early stages, but GOP leaders said they’re voting this week under protest because of the designated voter scheme.

Mrs. Pelosi says she’s confident in the plan’s legality, saying courts have usually deferred to Congress to set its own rules.

Mr. Budd’s bill would “withhold” paychecks from lawmakers who make use of the designated voter — though they would still get their money at the end of each Congress. Otherwise, the bill would likely violate the Constitution’s 27th Amendment, which prohibits Congress’s pay from being altered during a session.

The House  made history Wednesday when it conducted its first proxy vote since Congress began meeting in 1789.

“New for the proxy vote arrangement was a steady stream of lawmakers standing up on the House floor and verbally announcing the names of their colleagues they are voting proxy for and how each person votes on the legislation. For example, Rep. David Cicilline, D-R.I., was the designated proxy voter for Rep. Karen Bass, D-Calif,” Fox News reported.

“I inform the House that Ms. Bass will vote ‘yea,’” Cicilline announced on the House floor and her vote was recorded into the roll call tally.

Chicago Gang Member Relieved To Discover All These Cops Just Here To Raid A Church — The Babylon Bee

CHICAGO, IL—The Devil’s Thugs are a notorious Chicago gang, dealing mostly in money laundering, people-shooting, and graffitiing their gang’s name onto signs so you’ll know they’re legit. Their leader and founder, Bob Thug, was frightened this past Sunday as he saw police sirens coming toward their secret hideout, which is an abandoned warehouse that says “No Gangs in Here” on the sign out front.

When the violent gang member saw the sirens and SWAT teams heading his direction, he figured he was done for, so he was relieved to discover they were just raiding a dangerous church service nearby.

“Cheese it! It’s the po-po!” he cried to his fellow gang members. They dropped their guns and stuffed bags of money into their pants as they fled the scene. But the cops never came into their abandoned warehouse. Peeking out the window, Thug saw the cops busting into a church across the street to stop the service from happening. “False alarm — they’re just taking out the Christians!”

Thug praised the police officers for their bravery. “You know, the cops and I don’t always see eye to eye, but I’m glad they’re stopping people who aren’t social distancing, like churchgoers.” He says the Devil’s Thugs have strict rules to prevent the spread of coronavirus, such as making sure their criminals are always wearing masks when carrying out robberies and encouraging gang members to attack people with six-foot poles instead of the traditional baseball bat.

“We’re even laundering the money twice to be extra-sanitary, yo.”

Fox Exposes Cuomo’s Office Trying to Hide Deadly Corona Exec Order

On Wednesday, while the dominant liberal media continued to ignore the brewing scandal around New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s deadly decision to force nursing to homes to accept COVID-19 patients, Fox News reported two new developments. Not only was it revealed that Cuomo’s office has apparently tried to cover up his disastrous March 25 executive order by removing it from the state government’s website, but the governor also signed a law last month forbidding lawsuits against nursing homes over COVID-19.

Freindly Reminder: Soros Funded Violent Ferguson Protest Movement and Paid Black Lives Matter Protesters — The Gateway Pundit

Rioters stormed the Third Precinct in Minneapolis, Minnesota and burn it down on Thursday.

In August 2016 the mysterious “DC Leaks” website posted hacked documents from George Soros’s Open Society.

The documents included information on operations in Latin America, Eurasia, Asia, the US, Europe and the World Bank.

One document revealed Soros paid $650,000 to the Black Lives Matter domestic terrorist movement.
Breitbart.com reported:

George Soros’s Open Society Institute viewed the 2015 Baltimore unrest following the death of Freddie Gray as opening a “unique opportunity” to create “accountability” for the Baltimore police while aiding activists in reforming the city, according to hacked documents reviewed by Breitbart Jerusalem.
The documents further confirm that the Open Society last year approved $650,000 to “invest in technical assistance and support for the groups at the core of the burgeoning #BlackLivesMatter movement.”

The information was contained in a detailed 69-page Open Society report on the agenda of an Open Society U.S. Programs board meeting held in New York October 1 to October 2, 2015.

The report directly states the Open Society views the Baltimore unrest last year as a crisis that can be utilized to carry out the organization’s agenda.

The document states:

The killing of Freddie Gray in April helped spawn weeks of peaceful protests by Baltimore residents and allies from the #BlackLivesMatter movement that were temporarily interrupted by a period of unrest that lasted less than 48 hours and resulted in some injuries and millions of dollars in property damage to neighborhood businesses. While many lamented the damage done, the overwhelming sentiment is that the uprising has catalyzed a paradigm shift in Baltimore that offers opportunities for major justice reforms.

In particular, recent events offer a unique opportunity to accelerate the dismantling of structural inequality generated and maintained by local law enforcement and to engage residents who have historically been disenfranchised in Baltimore City in shaping and monitoring reform. Building on our existing networks and programs, OSI-Baltimore will focus investments on: 1) creating a culture of accountability for policing in Baltimore, recognizing the pervasive racism, disrespect and lawlessness that gave rise to recent events; and 2) building the capacity of activists in Baltimore to demand and achieve immediate and long-term reforms.

Later on, the document reveals the extent of Soros funding to the Black Lives Matter coalition:

Recognizing the need for strategic assistance, the U.S. Programs Board approved $650,000 in Opportunities Fund support to invest in technical assistance and support for the groups at the core of the burgeoning #BlackLivesMatter movement.

It’s true.
The Washington Times accused Soros of giving at least $33 million in one year to the far left groups that emboldened black lives matter activists.

During the Ferguson riots a Soros-linked organization MORE (Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment) and OBS (Organization for Black Struggle) advertised for paid protesters in Ferguson.

And in May 2015 a list of over 80 groups and individuals was posted on Twitter of the paid Ferguson protesters.

Europe’s extensive social welfare net is showing signs of fraying under economic strain from the coronavirus, as protests erupted for a second day in Spain on Friday against layoffs by French carmaker Renault, while Italy’s chief central banker warned that “uncertainty is rife.”

India reported another record increase in cases and Pakistan a record number of deaths.

As cases steadily rise across Africa, too, officials who are losing the global race for equipment and drugs are scrambling for homegrown solutions.

In the U.S., sky-high unemployment was stoking fears the virus is doing deep and potentially long-lasting damage to the world’s largest economy.

Here are some of AP’s top stories Friday on the world’s coronavirus pandemic. Follow APNews.com/VirusOutbreak for updates through the day and APNews.com/UnderstandingtheOutbreak for stories explaining some of its complexities.

WHAT’S HAPPENING TODAY:

— Stocks were off to a weak start on Wall Street on Friday, with traders worried that the U.S. and China could be headed for another confrontation. The S&P 500 was down 0.3% in the first few minutes of trading, but it was still headed for its third weekly gain out of the last four.

—- A debate in Congress over whether to extend $600 a week in federally provided benefits to the unemployed looks sure to intensify with the number of people receiving the aid now topping 30 million — one in five workers.

— South Africa says it has a backlog of nearly 100,000 unprocessed tests for the coronavirus, a striking example of the painful shortage of testing kits across Africa as cases steadily rise.

— Worshippers in Turkey have held their first communal Friday prayers in 74 days after the government reopened some mosques as part of its plans to relax measures in place to fight the coronavirus outbreak.

— In Brazil, couples have begun turning to drive-thru marriage to avoid the coronavirus. At a notary on the western outskirts of Rio de Janeiro, 15 couples were married on Thursday alone.

— The virus is affecting training for recruits at the Marine Corps’ Parris Island and across the military,. Defense leaders say some of the adjustments are proving beneficial and could become permanent.

— The Spanish government will provide more money for the country’s most impoverished 850,000 families so they can reach a minimum monthly income in the nation’s first attempt to guarantee a basic salary.

— For Orthodox Christians, the use of a shared spoon by a priest to distribute Holy Communion is a tradition that dates back thousands of years. Contrary to science, the Greek Orthodox Church insists is impossible for any disease, including the coronavirus, to be transmitted through Holy Communion.

— Alabama’s sparsely populated Lowndes County has the sad distinction of having both the state’s highest rate of COVID-19 cases and its worst unemployment rate.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

For most people, the coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough that clear up in two to three weeks. For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia and death. The vast majority of people recover.

Here are the symptoms of the virus compared with the common flu.

One of the best ways to prevent spread of the virus is washing your hands with soap and water. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends first washing with warm or cold water and then lathering soap for 20 seconds to get it on the backs of hands, between fingers and under fingernails before rinsing off.

You should wash your phone, too. Here’s how.

TRACKING THE VIRUS: Drill down and zoom in at the individual county level, and you can access numbers that will show you the situation where you are, and where loved ones or people you’re worried about live.

___

ONE NUMBER:

— One: New Zealand has all but eradicated the coronavirus from its shores with just one person in the nation of 5 million still infected.

IN OTHER NEWS:

— ONE GOOD THING: Hassan N’Dam, former middleweight boxing champion of the world, wanted to repay the French hospital that cared for his father-in-law through his bout with COVID-19. It occurred to him that he held the answer in his own hands. He would give the staff boxing lessons, to help them relieve the tension of long shift work during the pandemic.

— RESTAURANT ROBOTS: When Shaosong Hu saw robots serving food in China last fall, he knew exactly what he wanted for his restaurant in the Dutch beachside town of Renesse. He just didn’t have a clue how useful they would prove.

May 29th The D. L. Moody Year Book

I will seek that which was lost.—Ezekiel 34:16.

I DO not believe there is a man that the Spirit of God has not striven with at some period of his life. Bear in mind, Christ takes the place of the seeker. Every man who has ever been saved through these six thousand years was sought after by God. No sooner did Adam fall, than God sought him. He had gone away frightened, and hid himself away among the bushes in the garden, but God sought him; and from that day to this, God has always had the place of the Seeker.[1]

Your “Immunity Passport” Future Begins to Materialize as Airlines Call for Digital ID Tracking Systems | Global Research

The world’s largest airline trade group has called for immunity passports, thermal screening, masks, and physical distancing to be a part of the industry’s strategy for returning to “normal” operations.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA), which represents 299 airlines, recently issued their publication, Biosecurity for Air Transport A Roadmap for Restarting Aviation, which outlines their strategy to open up air travel as governments begin to lift travel restrictions.

Under a section titled, “The passenger experience” and “Temporary biosecurity measures,” the IATA describes their vision of post-COVID-19 flights. The organization calls for contact tracing, a controversial method of tracking the civilian population to track the spread of COVID-19.

“We foresee the need to collect more detailed passenger contact information which can be used for tracing purposes,” the report states. “Where possible, the data should be collected in electronic form, and in advance of the passenger arriving at the airport including through eVisa and electronic travel authorization platforms.”

Interestingly, this call for pre-boarding check-in using “electronic travel authorization platforms” coincides with the recent announcement of the Covi-Pass and the Health Pass from Clear, both of which call for a digital ID system using biometrics and storing travel, health, and identification data.

Alexandre de Juniac, IATA’s CEO, told Arabian Industry that “a layered approach” combining multiple measures which are “globally implemented and mutually recognized by governments” are “the way forward for biosecurity.”

The IATA also calls for temperature screening at entry points to airport terminals. They envision the airline experience involving physical distancing of 3-6 feet throughout the airport. The group believes changes to the airport buildings to allow for physical distancing may be necessary. The IATA also recommended “face coverings” for passengers and protective equipment for airline and airport staff.

Although the organization acknowledged that there is not currently a fast reliable test for COVID-19, they believe that once an effective test is developed it could be applied on entry to the terminal. They call for this measure to be “incorporated into the passenger process as soon as an effective test, validated by the medical community, has been developed.”

On the topic of immunity passports — an idea discussed by Anthony Fauci, the World Health Organization, and Bill Gates — the IATA states that “immunity passports could play an important role in further facilitating the restart of air travel.” The organization believes that if a person is shown to have recovered from COVID-19 and developed immunity they will not need protective measures. Once medical evidence supports the possibility of immunity to COVID-19, IATA believes “it is essential that a recognized global standard be introduced, and that corresponding documents be made available electronically.”

Finally, the IATA believes a “general move towards greater use of touchless technology and biometrics should also be pursued.” Biometrics would include facial recognition, retina scanning, and/or thumbprints.

This vision painted by the IATA is one where those who choose to fly are faced with invasive security measures, surveillance, biometric tracking, immunity passports, temperature screenings, and generally, less human contact due to physical distancing and less communication with actual people. Of course, this push towards a digital ID which contains an individual’s personal identifying information, health records, and other personal data is part of an agenda which predates COVID-19. The “powers that wish they were” are taking every opportunity to expand their technocratic control grid and the panic caused by COVID-19 allows them to accelerate their plans at a rate not seen since the days after the attacks of September 11, 2001.

The only thing stopping the roll out of this Technocratic State is the people of the world coming together, informing those who are in the dark, and unplugging from this control grid.
