Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him.
Not unto us, Lord God, not unto us, but to Your name give glory. Lord, when did I see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? In lowliness of mind may I esteem others better than myself. May I be clothed with humility.
Jesus was transfigured before Peter, James, and John. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. All who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at Stephen, saw his face as the face of an angel. The glory which You, Lord God, gave Jesus He has given me. With unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror Your glory, Lord God, I am being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, by Your Spirit.
I am the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
As I serve You, Lord God, may my face reflect Your glory.
