Download or listen to five sermons by Alistair Begg about joy.
The life of Christian faith is often expressed as a journey, and Alistair Begg employs this metaphor as he turns our attention to what James has to say about life in Christ. If we are to achieve God’s purpose for our time on earth, we can expect to face trials. Only after preparing for and responding properly to difficult times can we then heed James’ words and count our trials as joy.
When the followers He had sent out returned, Jesus rejoiced in the fact that God has hidden the truth of the kingdom from the proud and revealed it to the humble. Jesus’ joy reveals the coequal nature of Jesus Christ and God the Father. Alistair Begg highlights the great privilege we have to point others to the God who requires nothing from us but an awareness of our need for Him.
Every day, we are confronted by threats to our joy—feelings like gloom, pessimism, anxiety, and depression. For Christians, these problems may cast doubt on our claims to know joy in Christ. Yet as Alistair Begg teaches, real joy is not defined by emotions or entertainment but by our Savior, who brings godly contentment and gratitude. By relying on Jesus and staying in fellowship with Him, we can experience true joy in the midst of trials.
Why did Jesus tell His disciples, “In a little while you will see me no more,” then later assure them they would see Him again? Alistair Begg walks us through Jesus’ purpose behind these promises. The disciples’ uncertainty about their future made sense—yet today we know more than they did about Christ’s resurrection. While Jesus does not say He will replace His people’s sadness with happiness, He promises something even better: to turn our sorrow into joy.
Many of us yearn for the joy that comes from lifelong friendship. We don’t always find a friend like that here on earth, but Jesus told His disciples in John chapter 15 that God initiates that kind of friendship with us. Alistair Begg explains that when we respond to God’s invitation of friendship, we find joy that won’t fade.
Enjoyment of God Is the Only Thing That Satisfies
Psalm 43:4; 103:5; Matthew 5:6
God is the highest good of the reasonable creature; and the enjoyment of him is the only happiness with which our souls can be satisfied. To go to heaven, fully to enjoy God, is infinitely better than the most pleasant accommodations here. Fathers and mothers, husbands, wives, or children, or the company of earthly friends, are but shadows; but the enjoyment of God is the substance. These are but scattered beams, but God is the sun. These are but streams, but God is the fountain. These are but drops, but God is the ocean.

The Gate of Salvation Is Open to All
Joel 2:32; Matthew 13:58; Mark 6:5–6; Acts 2:21; Romans 11:20, 23; Titus 2:11; Hebrews 3:19
Since no man is excluded from calling upon God, the gate of salvation is set open unto all men; neither is there any other thing that keeps us back from entering in, save only our own unbelief.
Ritzema, E. (2013). 300 Quotations for Preachers from the Reformation. Bellingham, WA: Lexham Press.
“What is the matter with the world?” Martyn Lloyd-Jones asked. “Why . . . war and all this unhappiness and turmoil and discord amongst men? . . . There is only one answer to these questions—sin. Nothing else; it is just sin.”
Addiction provides a picture of all sin patterns. At first, the happiness it causes seems to outweigh the misery. But eventually the periods of misery increase while the periods of happiness fade. This is called the law of diminishing returns. Life is promised; death is delivered. Every drug, alcohol, and pornography addict is living proof that the next high is less satisfying than the last.
If insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results, sin not only leads to insanity—it is insanity. Regardless of your drug of choice—materialism, cocaine, pornography, power, anger, slander—the nature of any sin is saying, “This time will be different.” Yet it just keeps killing us—in the name of happiness.
Martyn Lloyd-Jones shares these helpful definitions of sin, and why we must avoid it, in his book Life in Christ in 1 John:
What is sin?
- When we disobey God’s holy Law, his revealed will.
- Sin is whatever is condemned in Scripture—‘Thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not steal; thou shalt not commit adultery…’ We have sins of ‘commission’ and sins of ‘omission’—in other words, it’s just as bad to do what you shouldn’t do as to not do what you ought to do.
- Sin is violating your conscience—going against your conscience (Romans 14). If we are doubtful about a thing, we ought not do it (1 Thessalonians 5:22).
- Sin is being governed by our desires and not by truth.
Why must we not sin?
- Sin is condemned and hated by God. It goes contrary to the very nature of God.
- Sin is ugly and destructive by its very nature. It’s wrong in and of itself. Just look at what sin produces.
- Sin is the terrible and foul thing that caused our Savior to die. The problem of sin is what brought the Son of God to earth to die. Why would we desire that which cause the Savior so much pain and grief???
- Sin is dishonorable to the gospel and its claims. We claim to believe the gospel and have victory over sin but then don’t walk in patterns of victory. There’s no point in saying you want to walk with God and deliberately sin. In other words, we say we want to fellowship with God and then break that fellowship with deliberate sin. Sin is inconsistent with our profession to hate sin.
- Sin leads to an evil conscience. We suffer guilt and condemnation for sin.
- Sin robs you of joy. You should avoid sin at all costs because you know what it does to you.
- Sin leads to doubts about your salvation.
- Sin hinders prayer. It’s impossible to pray as we ought to when we are holding onto sin.
- Sin leads to a sense of utter hopelessness.
First John 3:21 says, “If our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God.” Without the convicting work of the Holy Spirit (see John 16:8), there’s no hope for any of us to turn to God—and without repentance and forgiveness, there’s no restoration to relationship with our joyful God.
Though those of us who have accepted Christ are forgiven of our past sins, including some we don’t remember, we are called upon to confess our sins as we become aware of them: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
It may seem confusing that we must continue to confess recent sins in order to experience new and fresh forgiveness. But while we have a settled once-and-for-all forgiveness in Christ, we also have a current ongoing relationship with Him that is hampered by unconfessed sin.
Scripture says, “He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy” (Proverbs 28:13). Confession means agreeing with God that we have sinned against him.
Charles Spurgeon said, “It does not spoil your happiness . . . to confess your sin. The unhappiness is in not making the confession.”
While true conversion begins with admitting we’re wrong, it doesn’t end there. It involves repentance. Repentance is more than reciting well-calculated words with a view toward minimizing our losses. Repentance, when it is genuine, is in fact not accompanied by calculation at all. It is utterly vulnerable, and demonstrates this by a radical change in behavior, a new humility, and a willingness to accept God’s discipline.
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick” (Jeremiah 17:9). Sin requires a radical solution—salvation in Christ, which transforms our nature and dramatically affects our capacity to embrace greater happiness in God. Our justification by faith in Christ satisfies the demands of God’s holiness by exchanging our sins for Christ’s righteousness (see Romans 3:21-26).
God grants believers new natures that free us from sin’s bondage. Now we can draw upon God’s power to overcome evil. Because our hearts are changed when we become new people in Christ, we want a better way. “You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you” (Romans 8:9).
Once believers are born again, we cannot continue to sin as a lifestyle because of our new natures (see 1 John 3:9). Sin is still present in our lives (see Romans 6:11-14; 1 John 1:8–2:2), but we have supernatural power to overcome it since we’ve died to sin (see Romans 6:6-9). God’s Holy Spirit indwells us and helps us obey Him (see 2 Timothy 1:14).
The result? With the Holy Spirit’s help, we’re free to reject sin and its misery, and embrace righteousness, with its true and lasting happiness.
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.” – Psalm 23:5
Scripture reading: Psalm 23:5
At this point in the psalm, the imagery changes from Christ being our Good Shepherd, to Christ being our Victorious Servant King. In the first line of this verse, the imagery is quite foreign to our 21st-century minds. In ancient times, when a king conquered an enemy city, he would have a huge victory feast in the royal banquet hall of that city. The king and all his generals and men of valour would sit around the table and eat the spoils of their victory, all in full view of the enemy king or governor and all their children, wives and officials. The conquered enemy would have to watch while the victor feasted.
David here is saying that Christ has won the victory and set up a table for Himself to feast at, in full view of His enemies. Christ certainly has won for us a great victory by dying on the cross and rising again so that we sit in victory over sin, death, the world, and the devil. We are reminded of that great victory when we celebrate the Lord’s Supper, where we are invited to the table of Christ and get to partake of the spoils of His victory. We partake of Him and are refreshed and enlivened after the struggles of fighting the enemy. How often do you meditate upon the victory that Christ has earned for you? How often do you go to Christ, the Servant King, to be fed and nourished with the spoils of His heroic victory?
Suggestions for prayer
Pray for the Lord to refresh and nourish you with Christ and with all that He has obtained for you by His heroic victory on the cross and the open grave. Pray this for yourself and for all of God’s people.

Another teaching moment from Famine in the Land FB page
Is it true that God actually hates some people?
This is a tricky concept for a lot of people in our society today.
It shouldn’t be, especially if you have been in church. But a lot of churches aren’t teaching a theology of God’s love and His hate.
Such churches are not showing us how we should apply the Bible’s teaching in order to make proper distinctions in our minds. In fact, many people would classify those who try to make distinctions as being divisive.
This video explores the biblical perspective on God’s hatred toward his enemies.
Richard Hooker’s Last Words
Psalm 102:11; 144:4
God has heard my daily petitions, for I am at peace with all men, and He is at peace with me; and from that blessed assurance I feel that inward joy, which this world can neither give nor take from me: my conscience bears me this witness, and this witness makes the thoughts of death joyful. I could wish to live to do the Church more service, but cannot hope it, for my days are past as a shadow that returns not.

Turkey’s genocide blackmail: Threats to work closer with Iran and Russia
The US decision to finally recognize the Armenian genocide comes after decades in which Turkey and its lobbyists in Washington threatened the US. Their narrative was that if Washington would just use the term “genocide” – for a crime committed 106 years ago by a former government in what is now Turkey – then Ankara would rapidly move to sanction the US, close its bases, threaten its citizens and ally with Iran, China and Russia, or other US enemies.
Report: Drought leaves New Mexico trees weak and dying
New Mexico’s relentless drought is stressing forests, making them more vulnerable to a widespread pest infestation that could cause a mass tree die-off if wetter weather doesn’t come, a newly released state report says. The 2020 state report on New Mexico’s forest health looked at how extensively pests killed and damaged trees on national, state and tribal woodlands. Drought conditions have worsened, encompassing half the state at the beginning of 2020 and then growing until every area of New Mexico was deemed in some level of drought by the year’s end, the report said.

Is The Stage Being Set For Great Deception? – UFO Sightings More Than Double
Did you know that the number of reported UFO sightings has increased dramatically over the past two years? I didn’t realize this either until I looked up the numbers. Of course the skeptics will always find a way to explain away any facts that they do not like, but to me it appears that something very unusual is happening. It turns out that the increase in UFO sightings during 2019 was even greater than the increase that we witnessed during 2020…
Echoes Of Ezekiel 38 – Israel/Iran Shadow War Heats Up
You won’t hear the corporate media say very much about the “shadow war” that Israel and Iran are currently engaged in, because the corporate media is absolutely obsessed with covering the internal strife that is tearing the U.S. apart right now. But if they were doing their jobs correctly, corporate media outlets would be focusing on the Middle East, because the conflict between Israel and Iran could literally spark a major global war at any moment.

The mRNA revolution: How COVID-19 hit fast-forward on an experimental technology
For decades scientists suggested it was hypothetically possible to hijack this mechanism and deliver artificially designed mRNA to a cell, instructing it to generate whatever protein one wanted. But the idea was science fiction until several discoveries in the 1980s finally made it possible. Of course, once scientists started experimenting with their own forms of mRNA they discovered a new roadblock. Immune systems are clever. They are well geared to detect foreign bodies trying to infiltrate the body, and early animal studies revealed synthetic mRNA triggered profoundly fatal inflammatory responses.
Pope Hangs Picture of Naked Jesus Caressing Judas in His Office
Pope Francis is by far the most secular, ungodly pope to take the high office of the Roman Catholic Church in modern history. While the Roman Catholic Church is most certainly apostate, and by no means should be considered a valid expression of Christianity, in recent decades, no pope has ever taken strides to embrace profanity quite to the point that Francis has done. Whether it be his push for global climate control, performing a mass for gay Catholics, or saying that atheists are “children of God,” one cannot deny the non-traditional influence this pope has been in the Vatican for the past few years.

Scientists track asteroid as it hits Earth
A team of asteroid-hunting scientists has reconstructed a massive space rock’s 22-million-year journey through the solar system before it slammed into the Earth. The discovery of its origin in space will help astrophysicists and astronomers to better understand what Earth-threatening asteroids are made of. Asteroid 2018LA lit up the sky when it disintegrated at about 60,000 kmph above the Kalahari Desert in Botswana on June 2, 2018. CCTV camera footage captured the 5.7-ton rock’s final moments, which appeared as a huge fireball hurtling through the atmosphere before impact. “As the asteroid broke up 27km above ground, it was 20,000 times brighter than the full moon,” astronomer Christian Wolf said.

Pope Francis Hangs Image Of A Naked Jesus Caressing The Dead Body Of Judas Truly Exposing The Demonic Nature Of The Roman Catholic Church
In the bible, Judas is not only a devil, a liar, a thief and a traitor, he is also the SOP, the son of perdition from 2 Thessalonians 2 who will one day soon return to this earth as Antichrist. Judas does not get forgiven by Jesus Christ, just as Satan receives no forgiveness and neither do the fallen angels. So why, you may ask, does Pope Francis and the official Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano have a love for Judas the devil? Well, you know what they say, ‘devils of a feather flock together’, or something like that.

In 2014, I reported Britain only had an energy storage buffer estimated to meet about 16 days of energy demands. What lies beyond 16 days under the present set of circumstances. In contrast, i reported that Germany had 77 days of energy reserves and France has 88 days. However, none of these nations have enough energy reserves to get through a winter without Russian supplies of natural gas. That is when the betrayal of America began.

President Biden never intended to unify the country. Instead, he’s ramming through the Left’s agenda.
Joe Biden is no Donald Trump. Breaking news, we know. That was a feature, not a bug, for 81 million Americans in the 2020 election, however many asterisks come with that vote total. As President Joe “Unity” Biden marks 100 days in office, let’s check in on some of the big differences.
But first, we’ll preface it by saying that Biden was elected on an unearned reputation as a moderate and as a competent man who could calm the chaos of the Trump years. The truth is that Biden’s a party man, and his party is decidedly and radically left-wing these days. As for competence, well, let’s just say the 78-year-old non compos mentis Biden is not really the one running the show. We suspect it’s often President-in-Waiting Kamala Harris.
The ChiCom Virus pandemic is one example where Biden hasn’t so much undone President Trump’s work as dishonestly claimed credit for it. The prevailing example of that is the COVID vaccine. Biden made grand-sounding pledges and boasted of vaccine successes that in reality were merely taking the baton he was given. All he had to do was not screw up the plan.
Perhaps the biggest exception was rejoining the World Heath Organization, the lying Chinese puppet that Trump wisely left.
When it comes to the economy, Biden has used the pandemic as an excuse to expand Big Government income redistribution. Whether the direct payments most Americans received, pausing student loan payments, restricting evictions and foreclosures, or just straight up taxpayer giveaways to leftist constituent groups, the Biden-Harris administration is using the coronavirus as the justification for massive transfers of wealth. Next up will be tax hikes galore, all on the premise of “fairness” (read: envy).
On climate change, which leftists insist is the biggest crisis facing the world, Team Biden-Harris has been particularly destructive. From destroying the Keystone Pipeline (and thousands of good jobs) to rejoining the Paris Agreement to pushing the Green New Deal, “moderate” Joe is merely enacting the ecofascists’ agenda to remake the economy in the name of slowing a small projected increase in global temperatures.
The biggest changes have come on the immigration front. Whereas climate is largely a manufactured crisis, immigration has become a created one. By summarily overturning many of Trump’s rules or actions on refugees, asylum, building a border wall, or practicing enforcement in general, Biden has generated a border crisis that neither he nor his lackeys in the Leftmedia will honestly address. And his “border czar,” Kamala Harris, isn’t going anywhere near the border — or the press for that matter.
“Unity”? Biden certainly made a show of pledging it during his Inaugural Address. But with all of the above and more, it’s hard to find him even half-heartedly trying to foster it. He’s routinely shunned Republican input, and everything of consequence Congress has done has been without any or almost any GOP support.
“If I look at the 100 days, it’s more like a bait-and-switch,” said House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy. President Biden has “governed as a socialist.”
Don’t take his word for it. Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gives Biden kudos because he has “definitely exceeded expectations” in terms of “collaboration with progressives.” That could be called a lot of things. “Unity” isn’t one of them.
The Washington Post’s “fact-check” of the senator was little more than a racist smear.
South Carolina Senator Tim Scott is a dangerous man. Which is why the Left can’t decide whether to ignore him or smear him.
Scott was raised in poverty by a single mom, went on to graduate from Charleston Southern University, built a successful small business, and eventually won election to the U.S. House of Representatives before becoming the first black politician since Reconstruction to represent a southern state in the U.S. Senate. That’s a pretty impressive life story for a guy whose grandfather dropped out of elementary school to pick cotton on the family farm.
For The Washington Post’s resident “fact-checker,” Glenn Kessler, though, the story is too good to be true. And with Scott having been tabbed by GOP leadership to deliver the Republican Party’s response to President Joe Biden’s first speech to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, the Post obviously felt Scott could no longer be ignored. Which meant smearing him.
As Kessler writes, “Our research reveals a more complex story than what Scott tells audiences. Scott’s grandfather’s father was also a substantial landowner — and Scott’s grandfather, Artis Ware, worked on that farm. Scott’s family history in South Carolina offers a fascinating window into a little-known aspect of history in the racist South following the Civil War and in the immediate aftermath of slavery — that some enterprising Black families purchased property as a way to avoid sharecropping and achieve a measure of independence from White-dominated society.”
We should note, first, that Kessler’s article is behind the Post’s paywall. That means hardly anyone is going to read it beyond the ominous headline: “Tim Scott often talks about his grandfather and cotton. There’s more to that tale.”
In fact, there isn’t much more to the tale.
As The Federalist’s Jordan Davidson writes, “Using the guise of a ‘fact-check,’ Kessler spent nearly 30 paragraphs analyzing census documents and other records to try to counteract Scott’s claims that his grandfather left elementary school to pick cotton and ‘never learned to read or write.’”
Davidson continues, “While the article sets out to prove Scott wrong, it confirms the narrative that the senator has repeated in his book and from the political podium multiple times. While Scott believed his grandfather, Artis Ware, dropped out of school in third grade, Kessler claimed to have uncovered that Ware may have left school in the fourth grade, a slight inconsistency which even Kessler admitted could occur because the records are old.”
Stop the presses! Senator Scott’s grandfather may have dropped out of school after the fourth grade instead of the third grade!
As Dana Loesch tweeted, “The white leftists trying to nullify Tim Scott’s family’s experience out of anger that they moved up in life and he became Republican are the same ones who defended Elizabeth Warren’s wholly baseless claim of indigenous ancestry.”
Mollie Hemingway was a bit more blunt in her analysis of Kessler’s piece: “What in the everliving bleep is wrong with you?”
Perhaps the most damning indictment of Kessler’s “fact-check,” though, comes from Kessler himself. “Scott tells a tidy story packaged for political consumption,” he cynically writes, as if Scott was the first pol to ever do so, “but a close look shows how some of his family’s early and improbable success gets flattened and written out of his biography. Against heavy odds, Scott’s ancestors amassed relatively large areas of farmland, a mark of distinction in the Black community at the time. Scott, moreover, does not mention that his grandfather worked on his father’s farm — a farm that was expanded through land acquisitions even during the Great Depression, when many other Black farmers were forced out of business.”
So there’s really no story here, folks. Just another Leftmedia smear job against a black conservative. Same ol’ same ol’.
As for his upcoming address, Scott is his typical optimistic self. “I’m excited and honored for this opportunity to address the nation,” he said. “We face serious challenges on multiple fronts, but I am as confident as I have ever been in the promise and potential of America. I look forward to having an honest conversation with the American people and sharing Republicans’ optimistic vision for expanding opportunity and empowering working families.”
Leftist identity politics and anti-cop messaging ran through the long, nearly unwatchable event.
For everyone who missed it last night, Hollywood celebrated its 93rd Academy Awards. Given recent trends, “everyone who missed it” would be most folks. Nevertheless, it’s apparent that, for all its loudly declared concerns over “inclusivity,” Hollywood has failed to include the interests of the vast majority of the American public.
“Exclusivity” was a better word to describe yet another abysmally “woke” Oscars. As the New York Post’s Johnny Oleksinski put it, “If you opened the window and listened closely Sunday night, you could hear it: the sound of millions of remote controls changing the channel during the 2021 Oscars.”
But it wasn’t just the over-the-top and yet somehow monotonous leftist messaging, which has turned so many Americans off of Hollywood and the Oscars. It was also the fact that, as USA Today’s Kelly Lawler observed, “The producers apparently forgot one of the key elements of filmmaking: Show, don’t tell.” In other words, it was a boring program arduously progressing through all the obligatory “woke” issues.
It has become increasingly apparent that Hollywood has severed itself from what made it so big in the first place: entertainment. It’s now little more than an institutional leftist shill, touting “diversity” and “inclusivity” but being completely devoid of genuine diversity of opinion and thought. It’s like an orchestra with a complete complement of musicians capable of playing an array of instruments, but that only ever plays one tune.
Of course, the Leftmedia praised the event as “innovative,” a humorous way to get around the fact that producers attempted to hold an in-person award ceremony while also social distancing due to California’s COVID restrictions. And it might have worked if it weren’t for the commitment to radical leftist virtue signals.
Last night’s hostess, actress Regina King, explained in her opening monolog how the show was being done in person with everyone “vaxxed, tested, retested, [and] socially distanced.” Then, just to keep the “systemic racism” narrative going, she added, “I have to be honest, if things had gone differently this week in Minneapolis, I would have traded in my heels for marching boots.”
On that same narrative, director Travon Free, who received the award for best live-action short, stated, “Today the police will kill three people and tomorrow the police will kill three people, and the day after that the police will kill three people. On average the police in America every day kill three people. Those people have been disproportionately black people. … I ask that you please not be indifferent. Please don’t be indifferent to our pain.” Never mind any of the reasons for those statistics…
Finally, why should any of us care what Hollywood is doing or who and what celebrities are honoring? It’s a fair question, as Hollywood has long dismissed and derided conservatives as a bunch of racist bigots who deserve nothing but ridicule. However, it’s important to observe what these cultural influencers are preaching, if only to be informed so as to be better prepared to confront and challenge their message when your neighbors or your kids parrot the same thing.
You didn’t hear about it, and here’s why.
Did you hear about that knife fight in Ohio? No, not that one; the other one. The question is rhetorical because most likely you did not hear about the other one…
Last week, you heard plenty about the Minneapolis jury that rendered its guilty verdict against a white officer in the high-profile death of George Floyd. It found the officer guilty on murder and manslaughter charges, and, of course, the Biden/Harris regime and its Demo race-hustlers instantly declared the conviction was irrefutable proof that our justice system is consumed, top to bottom, with “systemic racism.”
Looking for their next “systemic racism” poster child, Demos found one in the police-involved shooting in Columbus, Ohio, on the same day as the Floyd verdict. Of course, you heard ad nauseam about a white police officer who made a split-second decision to use deadly force against a knife-wielding 16-year-old black girl who, as police body-cam footage clearly revealed, was about to stab another black girl she pinned against a car.
Joe Biden and his band of race-baiters immediately threw that officer to the wolves, implying the officer shot the assailant because of racist predispositions. The emotionally incontinent Leftmedia talkingheads generated plenty of ad revenue on that fallacious assertion, and the so-called Black Lives Matter cadres hit the streets. Naturally, leftist celebrities were quick to pile on.
However, plenty of evidence clearly showed this was a justifiable shooting and the officer saved a young black victim from life-threatening injury. Not a word of apology to that officer from Biden, et al.
What Biden and his Demo media and celebrity stooges did not mention is that, on the same day as the Columbus incident, there was another knife fight in Ohio. In that Cincinnati attack, no police officer was present in time to intervene and save the life of a black child. Consequently, a 13-year-old died in her father’s arms after being stabbed by another 13-year-old girl near the family’s home.
Her father, Maurice Jackson, was at her side moments after the assault. He responded with heartbreak and anguish: “I held her. I watched her as she died. I watched her, you know. All I could do was just hold her, hold her. I tried. I tried to stop the bleeding. The pain I’m feeling right now, it’s just, I can’t explain it. It’s very unexplainable. She should be burying me. I shouldn’t be burying her.”
Of course, the victim in Cincinnati does not fit the Demos’ hate narrative, and thus no Biden or Harris mention of that child, no BLM outcry for justice. This child was just another casualty of their urban poverty plantation policies that have kept poor people enslaved on government welfare plantations for generations.

Insight: “There is in all of us a strong disposition to believe that anything lawful is also legitimate. This belief is so widespread that many persons have erroneously held that things are ‘just’ because the law makes them so.” —Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850)
For the record I: “It’s always funny to hear people speak about solar panels as if they were some sort of cutting-edge technology. The discovery of the photovoltaic effect goes back to 1888. President Jimmy Carter declared a national ‘Sun Day’ in 1978 and put 30 solar panels atop the White House. One of those panels is now on display at the Science and Technology Museum in China — not only the top producer of solar panels and carbon emissions but also the nation that would most benefit from the United States’ unilateral economic capitulation.” —David Harsanyi
For the record II: “It is the denial of the modern technology and competitive markets which continue to allow human beings to adapt to organic and anthropogenic changes in the environment. Even people who mimic doomsday rhetoric seem to understand this intuitively. The average American says they are willing to spend up to $177 a year to avoid climate change, not the approximately $177,000,000 per person it would cost to set arbitrary dates to get rid of a carbon-energy economy. … After shutting down a large chunk of its economy in 2020, and spending trillions to keep those affected afloat and avert a depression, the United States emissions only fell by 13%. Imagine what 50% might entail.” —David Harsanyi
Re: leftist fallacies: “If a 16-year-old is wielding a knife and trying to stab someone, you can’t kill her. Because she’s just a baby. But if a pre-born child is unarmed in the womb, you’re welcome to kill her. Because she’s not yet a baby. This is the logic of the left.” —Seth Dillon
Observations: “The armchair-quarterbacking of police shootings is, at this point, more recurrent and sustained than bad officers behaving badly. In postmodern society, the exceptions are being treated as the rule. The bad police officer is treated as the rule, and the good officer is the exception. People have failed to be nuanced and understand differences.” —Erick Erickson
Re: dezinformatsiya: “On Jan. 8, The New York Times reported that Officer Sicknick had died after being struck in the head with a fire extinguisher by violent Trump supporters. This story was quickly repeated by numerous other media outlets. Millions believed it. The story was false. … There will be no significant consequences to the Times for spreading a lie that divided and inflamed the country at a dangerous time. For all the moralizing about people ‘spreading misinformation’ on social media, the biggest spreaders of misinformation in America are the liberal media, the Times above all.” —Glenn H. Reynolds
Non compos mentis: “Given that GOP supporters believe that rampaging mobs burned and looted major cities — somehow without the people actually living in those cities noticing — getting them to see facts about something as abstract as the deficit is a hopeless cause.” —New York Times columnist Paul Krugman
Corporate wokism: “Stopping the continued killing of Black and Brown people at the hands of the police demands we divest from police and invest in systems that build community health and well-being, especially in BIPOC communities who bear the biggest burden of systemic racism in policing. We support defunding the police like we support keeping fossil fuels in the ground. It’s imperative we divest from systems of harm and invest in regenerative systems for all.” —Seventh Generation
And last… “If you are very concerned about Washington D.C. residents not having a senator, let’s make them citizens of Virginia or Maryland. Oh, wait, that wouldn’t accomplish your actual purpose of adding two more Democratic Senators?” —Ben Shapiro

On Newswatch AM April 26th: President Biden approaches his 100th day in office with low approval ratings for a President at this point, although higher than Trump; public opposition to court packing grows; Premier of Ontario Doug Ford apologized …
Former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has a history of swimming upstream, politically speaking. First, as a conservative in Wisconsin. And now he’s taking on the growing “Cancel Culture” in an effort to reach today’s students.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fittonn appeared on “The Count” on Newsmax TV to discuss court packing, Adam Schiff & Trump impeachment, and much more!
The FBI, in its release of heavily redacted documents regarding murdered Democratic National Committee employee Seth Rich, has included a cryptic “pay for his death” note.
Rich was the DNC employee who was shot and killed as he walked to his Washington, D.C., home at about 4 a.m. on July 10, 2016. There was evidence of a struggle, with his hands, knees and face bruised, yet he had two shots in his back. Police determined it was a robbery, but his wallet and other items were not taken. Two weeks later, WikiLeaks began releasing DNC emails damaging to Hillary Clinton, and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange mentioned Rich on Dutch TV: “Whistleblowers go to significant efforts to get us material and often very significant risks. There’s a 27-year-old, works for the DNC, was shot in the back, murdered just a few weeks ago for unknown reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington.”
Now, One America News reports the FBI’s release of records in reponse to a Freedom of Information Act request “appear to show that an undisclosed entity either wanted to pay or actually paid a lot of money to get Seth Rich killed.”
An FBI document dated Nov. 7, 2017, states: “Given [redacted] it is conceivable that an individual or group would want to pay for his death.”
It follows a document titled “Case opening & Summary,” which is heavily redacted.
There is a reference to a “Dark web threat,” and the explanation is: “A company called [redacted] was conducting research for an unrelated, non-law enforcement client and came upon a site called [redacted]. This site listed [redacted] as a target. On November 5, 2017, [redacted] felt an obligation to take action so they notified NYPD who in turn, contacted the Boston Regional Intelligence Center (BRIC). Boston FBI attempted to contact [redacted] the same day and made successful contact on November 6,2017.”
The OAN reported said: “Democrats and mainstream media have baselessly dismissed Rich’s murder as a ‘conspiracy theory’ and claimed it was a robbery, although none of his valuable items was taken. However, FBI documents appear to suggest Rich could have been a victim of foul play tied to D.C. politics.”
Debbie Georgatos, host of “America, Can We Talk?’ noted: “The area within the DNC where Seth Rich was working was one where he would have had access and been able to see what the Democrat Party was doing, [and] just as it happened in 2020, was happening in 2016 election. Which was the electronic manipulation of voter tabulation software, or, in plain English: Electronic manipulation of votes.”
Rich survived for about an hour after he was shot but was heavily intoxicated and unable to provide police with a statement, the report said.
The Gateway Pundit noted the FBI previously had denied there were any documents on Rich’s death.
WND columnist and author Jack Cashill pointed out that according to a lawyer who has investigated the case, Ty Clevenger, a government watchdog had “inadvertently obtained records about Mr. Rich by requesting communications between FBI lawyer Lisa Page and supervisory agent Peter Strzok.”
Cashill said the “header in the heavily redacted email string is ‘Seth Rich’ and in one email Agent Strzok boasts about having ‘squashed’ something pertaining to Mr. Rich.”
“Clevenger also said famed journalist Seymour Hersh reported a high-ranking FBI official said communications between Rich and Wikileaks exist,” Cashill said.

Actor and director Tyler Perry made an emotional plea for Americans to “stand in the middle” and reject hate of all sorts while accepting a humanitarian award at this year’s Academy Awards ceremony. He recalled being homeless and his mother’s experience growing up under Jim Crow. “It is my hope that all of us would teach our kids, and not only to remember, just refuse hate.
