“He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
“Christians must be resolutely aware…of the great challenge before us in the rising forces of ideological Marxism, which pursues “the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions.” Christians must understand the spiritual struggles in our culture today, not only by naming and eschewing genuine racism but also by avoiding simplistic social gospel teaching in the church. The great task before us is to realize that the godless cosmology of cultural Marxism…is the latest form of a powerful (and political) pagan Oneism, which seeks to silence the ultimate truth of biblical Twoism, which is the final answer to the human quest for the meaning of existence.”
(Peter Jones – truthxchange) David Horowitz was at one time a knowledgeable 1960s Jewish revolutionary Marxist. After observing from the inside the hypocrisy of Leftist ideology, he is now a political conservative. He brings to bear on our situation today by describing with frankness the stunning “logic” of Marxism:…
“The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.” Horowitz believes that progressive, socialist revolutionaries in America are now far closer to achieving their goals than the ’60s radicals ever were, a thesis he expands in his book Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christian America (2019). We do well to give ear to this warning from a non-Christian observer.
Many find Marxism appealing, without the complications of God’s existence. In the late-nineteenth century, Karl Marx (1818–83), a German political observer, saw the mistreatment of the working class, including the unjust employment of children, and sought a political way of freeing these economically oppressed workers from oppressive bosses. Hence the Marxist appeal for social justice. Although Marx was intensely critical of institutionalized Christianity, some Christians have accepted the basic social justice premises of Marxism and attempt to reinterpret the Christian faith from this perspective. Some of the resulting examples are forms of “liberation theology” and “black theology” that see Marxism as a tool of social analysis to help Christians see how things really are. Villanova University sociology professor, Glenn Bracey, an African American, says, “The Marxist foundation of Critical Race Theory is at base a spiritual concern.” View article →
Dr. Anthony Fauci and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases funneled massive amounts of taxpayer funding to unethical experiments, including one that involved implanting aborted babies’ scalps onto mice at the University of Pittsburgh, according to a new report.
David Daleiden, founder of the Center for Medical Progress, told Townhall that Fauci’s agency gave $61 million to the University of Pittsburgh in 2019 for scientific research, and some of that money funded experiments that involved aborted baby body parts being attached to mice and rats.
“Dr. Fauci should be brought in front of Congress again to answer specific questions under oath about what he and his department knew, and when they knew it, about the barbaric experiments on aborted infants at the University of Pittsburgh, and what ‘appropriate oversight’ means to them for experiments on aborted human fetuses,” Daleiden said.
Daleiden told Townhall that the evidence suggests these babies were illegally aborted through the partial-birth abortion method.
“In order to get the intact fetal scalps in the recent Pittsburgh study funded by Fauci’s NIAID, the Planned Parenthood abortion doctors supplying the Pitt tissue bank would have needed to use illegal partial-birth abortions to extract the fetal heads whole enough to yield usable scalps,” he said. “Unless the consent forms told the pregnant patients their babies would be scalped to stitch onto lab rats, the consents are almost certainly invalid through fraudulent omissions.”
He also noted a major conflict of interest at the university because one of its research supervisors also works at Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion chain in the U.S.
Dr. Fauci is arguably the most horrific doctor in our lifetimes. This is really sick stuff that likely was illegal too.
They would like us to believe that what we can see happening right in front of our eyes is not actually real. Over the past year, our politicians in Washington have gone on the largest spending binge in U.S. history by a very wide margin, and the Federal Reserve has created the most enormous financial bubble of all time by pumping trillions upon trillions of fresh dollars into the financial markets. Of course this was going to cause very painful inflation, and prices are rising very aggressively all around us. But Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell and other leaders in Washington are trying to convince us that even though they added all of this money to the system it has hardly affected the overall rate of inflation at all. They are “gaslighting” us, and it is absolutely infuriating.
If you are not familiar with the term “gaslighting”, the following is how Wikipediadefines it…
Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which a person or a group covertly sows seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or group, making them question their own memory, perception, or judgement.
This is precisely what they are trying to do to all of us. Everyone can see that nightmarish inflation is already here, but they are trying to manipulate us into thinking that it is not.
Just look at home prices. Everyone needs a place to live, and existing home prices have risen 23.6 percent over the past year…
The median existing-home price rose 23.6% in May from a year earlier to $350,300, a record high, NAR said. The annual price appreciation was the strongest in data going back to 1999. Median sales prices have climbed sharply since rising above $300,000 for the first time last July.
At this point, homes are absolutely flying off the market. In fact, the average time that a home stays on the market has hit a record low…
Homes are selling quickly. The typical home that sold in May spent 17 days on the market, matching the record low reached in April, NAR said.
Buyers with limited cash for down payments are struggling the most to compete. Half of existing-home buyers in April who used mortgages put at least 20% down, according to a NAR survey.
But Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell insists that everything is just fine and that the Fed is perfectly capable of keeping inflation around 2 percent…
“When Congress spends trillions of dollars and the Fed prints money, something’s got to give,” Rep. Mark Green (R., Tenn.) said. He asked Mr. Powell whether the price increases seen in recent months are “the start of something that could be as bad as the ‘70s,” when inflation reached double digits.
Mr. Powell said such a scenario is “very, very unlikely,” in part because the central bank “is strongly prepared to use its tools to keep us around 2% inflation.”
What an insane thing to say.
How can you claim that you are going to “keep us around 2% inflation” when inflation is already out of control?
As John Williams of shadowstats.com has documented, if honest numbers were being used the official rate of inflation would already be well into double digits.
Of course for certain categories we are now seeing triple digit inflation. For instance, at one point in May the price of lumber was four times higher than it was at the same time last year…
The price of lumber, which shot up to $1,600 per thousand board feet in May from $400 early last year, is making renovations more expensive – especially projects that involve kitchens cabinets, hardwood floors and additions that require framing.
“If you look behind the headline and look at the categories where these prices are really going up, you’ll see that it tends to be areas that are directly affected by the reopening,” Mr. Powell said in a hearing before a House subcommittee. “That’s something that we’ll go through over a period. It will then be over. And it should not leave much of a mark on the ongoing inflation process.”
We are supposed to believe that nothing out of the ordinary is happening, but meanwhile the wholesale price of chicken wings has more than tripled…
“The [wholesale] price of wings a year ago was as low as 98 cents,” per pound, Charlie Morrison, Chairman and CEO of Wingstop Restaurants Inc., told CNN Business. “Today, it’s at $3.22. So it’s a meaningful difference.”
Our leaders insist that this is perfectly normal.
Nothing to see here.
Please move along.
To me, one of the craziest examples of inflation in our economy is what is happening to used car prices.
When it was new, the window sticker price on a typical 2019 Toyota Tacoma SR double cab pickup was just under $29,000. Two years later, dealers are paying almost $1,000 more than that to buy the same vehicle, even though it’s used. Then they’re selling it to consumers for more than $33,000.
Welcome to the wacky world of U.S. car and truck sales, where the pandemic and a global shortage of computer chips have pushed prices to record levels.
I was absolutely floored when I first read that.
We have never seen anything happen like this before in all of U.S. history.
But Fed officials are going to continue to tell you that everything is just fine in the months ahead even as economic conditions continue to go haywire all around us.
I warned that extremely painful inflation was coming in my last book, and I will be warning about it again in the new book that I will soon be releasing.
Our leaders consciously made the decision to flood the system with new money in a desperate attempt “to save the economy”, and they should just be honest with us about the consequences of that decision.
But instead, they are just going to keep trying to spin the truth for as long as they can.
Unfortunately for them, the clock is ticking, and time is not on their side.
Moralism Fails at Its Ultimate End Matthew 15:2–9; Mark 7:9–13
The archer may lose his game by shooting short, as well as shooting wide. The gross hypocrite shoots wide, the most upright moralist shoots short. He may and often does take his aim right as to the particular and immediate end of his action, but always fails in regard of the ultimate end.

Nothing Will Change the Heart of the One Who Trusts God Job 9:6; Psalm 46:1–3; 125:1; Joel 3:16; Matthew 24:29; Mark 13:24
The earth may shake, the pillars of the world may tremble under us, the countenance of the heaven may be appalled, the sun may lose his light, the moon her beauty, the stars their glory; but concerning the man that trusts in God … what is there in the world that shall change his heart, overthrow his faith, alter his affection towards God, or the affection of God to him?

When it comes to spiritual warfare, we must constantly be on guard. Our enemy is deceitful and wants to see us fall. So how do we stand up for truth in a world full of lies? Find out when you join us on Truth For Life with Alistair Begg.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Of all the stars in the sky, the polestar is the most useful to the mariner. This text is a polestar, for it has guided more souls to salvation than any other Scripture. It is among promises what the Great Bear is among constellations.
Several words in it shine with peculiar brilliance. Here we have God’s love with a “so” to it, which marks its measureless greatness. Then we have God’s gift in all its freeness and greatness. This also is God’s Son, that unique and priceless gift of a love which could never fully show itself till heaven’s Only-begotten had been sent to live and die for men. These three points are full of light.
Then there is the simple requirement of believing, which graciously points to a way of salvation suitable for guilty men. This is backed by a wide description—”whosoever believeth in him.” Many have found room in “whosoever” who would have felt themselves shut out by a narrower word. Then comes the great promise, that believers in Jesus shall not perish but have everlasting life. This is cheering to every man who feels that he is ready to perish and that he cannot save himself. We believe in the Lord Jesus, and we have eternal life.
God has promised to work everything together for the good of His people. If God is for us, it follows that, ultimately, nothing can stand against us. That is logical. Otherwise, God would not be God. If something could rise up against God and overcome Him, that other thing would be God. God would then prove to be a false god—no God at all. But on the contrary Paul is saying that in the last analysis, nothing can be against us if God is for us.
But this raises the million-dollar question: “Is God for me?” Perhaps even more pointed is the personal question:
“How do I know that God is for me?”
Well, do you know that? How do you know?
Satan is very insistent about this—indeed, he has been insistent on this question from the beginning. He asked it in the Garden of Eden. In fact, his first recorded words are an assault on God’s gracious character (will we never learn how much he hates God and His people?): “Did God put you in this lavish garden and forbid you to eat from any of its trees? What kind of God does that? You don’t think He is really for you, do you, if He does that kind of thing?” (see Gen. 3:1).
You will find this innuendo repeated in various forms and guises throughout your Christian life. You need to have biblical answers to these questions:
How do you know God is really for you?
Where should you look for the proof that God is for you? Does it lie in the fact that your Christian life has been unbroken happiness? Does it lie in the fact that your Christian life been one of ecstatic joy?
There is only one irrefutable answer to these questions. It cannot be found in our circumstances. It lies only in the provision that God has made for us in Jesus Christ.
This is the whole point of Paul’s question in verse 32. We can be sure that God is for us because this God, the God of the Bible, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up to the cross for us all.
If this is true, Paul affirms, we can be confident He will give us everything we will ever need.
This is the only sure way we can know that God is for us.
Frequently in the closing pages of the Gospel records we are told that the Lord Jesus Christ was “delivered up” (e.g., Matt. 26:15; 27:2, 18, 26). He was handed over by one person or group to another until eventually He was handed over by Pilate to be crucified as a criminal.
But Paul understood that behind every human “handing over” was the purpose of the heavenly Father. He “handed over” (it is the same verb) His own Son to bear the condemnation due to sinners.
Here is the heart of the plan of God and the wonder of the gospel. The best of all men dies as though He were the worst of all criminals. This is not merely a matter of human wickedness destroying a good man. It is the heart of the purpose of God, as Isaiah had long before prophesied (Isa. 53:4–6, 10).
Behind the handing over of the Lord Jesus—by Judas Iscariot, by Herod, by the priests, by Pontius Pilate—stood the purposes of His heavenly Father handing Him over to the cross in order to die in the place of sinners. He bore God’s judgment and wrath against our sin.
Self-Righteousness in Holding Doctrines 1 Corinthians 8:1
I am afraid there are Calvinists, who, while they account it a proof of their humility that they are willing in words to debase the creature, and to give all the glory of salvation to the Lord, yet know not what manner of spirit they are of. Whatever it be that makes us trust in ourselves that we are comparatively wise or good, so as to treat those with contempt who do not subscribe to our doctrines, or follow our party, is a proof and fruit of a self-righteous spirit. Self-righteousness can feed upon doctrines, as well as upon works; and a man may have the heart of a Pharisee, while his head is stored with orthodox notions of the unworthiness of the creature and the riches of free grace.

The Difference Between the First and Second Advent Matthew 24:30–31; Acts 1:11; Philippians 3:21; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; Hebrews 9:27–28
In the first Advent He came to justify the wicked, in the second He will come to condemn the wicked. In the first He came to call back those that were wrested from Him, in the second He will come to glorify those that are converted to Him. In the first Advent Christ was betrayed for the wicked to a death which He deserved not, in the second He will give up the wicked to a death which they deserve. In the first Advent He came to form our hearts again to the image of God. But in the second, He will form again the body of our humility so as to be configured to the body of His glory.
IVO OF CHARTRES
Ritzema, E., & Brant, R. (Eds.). (2013). 300 quotations for preachers from the Medieval church. Bellingham, WA: Lexham Press.
As much as a husband’s leadership should be characterized by Christ’s love for His Bride, the Church, a wife’s submission is to be modeled after the Church’s submission to Christ, Who is the Head of the Church. Christ through His Word and Spirit, lovingly leads and directs the Church, His bride.
In her humble and quiet submission, she is a beautiful testimony of a godly and virtuous woman. She is a wonderful testimony to her children, her church, and the community of the marriage of Christ and His Church. She brings honor to her husband, to her family, to her church, and most importantly, she brings honor and glory to her Lord!
And when the Church refuses to submit to her Head there is no blessing. In the same way, when wives refuse to submit to their husbands the resistance will wreak havoc in the marriage. The marriage becomes dysfunctional. It is not blessed. Where there is a power struggle there will be no peace, no unity, no harmony, and no blessing of the Lord. In the end, everyone loses, the husband, the wife, the children, the church and society.
As one author noted, “And the love that binds this man and woman in marriage is a magnificent love because it portrays something magnificent – `as Christ loved the church’ and `as the church submits to Christ.”
Suggestions for prayer
May our wives walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing unto Him.

“We should be unfaithful to ourselves if we should ever lose sight of the danger to our liberties if anything partial or extraneous should infect the purity of our free, fair, virtuous, and independent elections.” —John Adams (1797)
A unified GOP successfully filibustered the Democrats’ blatant election power grab.
Senate Republicans invoked the filibuster on Tuesday, effectively killing (for the immediate future) the Democrats’ partisan power-grabbing legislation, S 1, which they had dubiously titled the “For the People Act.” Democrats and their Leftmedia propagandists dishonestly frame this as a “voting rights” bill, but make no mistake: It’s about Democrat power.
All 50 Republicans held the line, while Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV, Trump +39) once again showed commitment to his party over the will of his own constituents and even his own expressed principles. Despite loudly declaring that he objected to such a partisan bill, even offering a slightly watered-down version, Manchin ultimately fell in line.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) pulled no punches in his denunciation of the legislation. “The rotten inner workings of Democrats’ S 1 power grab have been thoroughly exposed to the light,” he stated. “Whichever label Democrats slap on their bill, the substance remains the same.” Ironically, Democrat Congressman Jamaal Bowman unintentionally agreed with McConnell’s assessment: “If we deliver [S 1], we maintain power in 2022. If we don’t … then we risk losing power, and risk losing this moment in American history to really push a progressive Democratic agenda.”
Prior to the vote, Joe Biden’s White House issued a BIG Lie statement asserting, “Democracy is in peril, here, in America. The right to vote — a sacred right in this country — is under assault with an intensity and an aggressiveness we have not seen in a long time.” Well, if Biden is truly concerned about the state of “democracy” in America, then he should be breathing a sigh of relief and thanking Republicans for boldly standing against a Democrat threat against our great Republic. But, of course, Biden would rather keep spinning the yarn that GOP election integrity laws in various states are “Jim Crow 2.0.”
Senator Ted Cruz (TX) expertly turned the tables on this bogus talking point:
That is a grotesque lie, and Mr. President, the majority leader knows that. The president of the United States knows that. The vice president of the United States [knows that]. They know they’re lying. But ironically, they’ve inadvertently said something that is accurate about this piece of legislation. Jim Crow legislation was grotesque and ugly. It was legislation that was drafted without exception by Democratic politicians. Jim Crow was written by Democratic politicians, and its purpose, when the Jim Crow laws were written, [was] to prevent the voters from ever voting out of office Democratic politicians. One of the ugliest chapters of our nation’s history. And thankfully, we repudiated Jim Crow.
Well, the majority leader used the phrase Jim Crow 2.0 and inadvertently he’s right, but not about what he’s describing. He’s right about the ‘Corrupt Politicians Act.’ The ‘Corrupt Politicians Act’ follows the exact same pattern that Jim Crow did. It is partisan legislation written by elected Democrats, designed to keep elected Democrats in office and to steal the right to vote from the citizenry to decide on somebody else.
Cruz is exactly right — the party with a history of suppressing voting rights has been and remains to this day the Democrat Party.
Going all the way back to the first voting rights act, the 14th Amendment, it was Republicans who assured that the recently freed slaves were given full citizenship rights, and especially the right to vote.
With the Voting Rights Act of 1965, it was once again Republicans who, more than Democrats, stepped up to get the law passed, ending the Democrats’ Jim Crow abuses of voter rights.
And now, it is Republicans who have once again stepped up to protect the integrity of voting rights by ensuring that federalism is preserved, working to rebuild Americans’ confidence in an electoral system governed by standards of fairness and accuracy, and preventing the legitimate votes of Americans from being offset by fraudulent votes that Democrats aid with their bulk-mail ballot strategy.
The fact of the matter is that no democratic republic can stand if the citizenry cannot trust the accuracy and legality of the vote. What S 1 would have done is sow ever more distrust and uncertainty in future elections.
Finally, no matter the Democrats’ rhetoric, the fact of the matter is that the American people don’t see this legislation as being “for the people.” For example, the vast majority of Americans reject the Democrats’ opposition to voter ID. Furthermore, while Americans widely support mail-in voting, that comes with the caveat of more stringent verification requirements — commonsense protections to prevent voter fraud.
The truth is, Republicans aren’t against people voting; they’re against voter fraud. Democrats, on the other hand, not only dismiss voter fraud outright, they irrationally claim that any concerns and attempts to mitigate it are “racist” and a threat to democracy. Nothing could be further from the truth. But, again, Congressman Bowman let the cat out of the bag: This is all about the 2022 election and keeping Democrats in power.
By putting patriotism into Florida’s educational curriculum, the governor strikes another blow against wokeism.
We sound like a broken record, but Ron DeSantis just keeps doing good things.
The popular first-term Florida governor announced yesterday that his state’s students will get a well-rounded civics education — one that clearly spells out the “why” of American exceptionalism and the “why not” of other forms of government around the globe.
“[Florida] students will learn about patriots who come to America after fleeing communist regimes,” DeSantis declared. “Our students will learn from an integrated civic education curriculum that compares our rights and freedoms to places where they don’t exist like China and North Korea.”
As John Solomon reports, “DeSantis vowed to ensure his state’s students will be taught that communism is evil, as he signed several education reform bills that expand civics lessons and ban ‘intellectually oppressive’ environments at state universities often deemed unfriendly to conservatives.”
Communism is evil, of course, and thoroughly discredited, but it keeps rearing its ugly head in leftist educational curricula. Critical Race Theory, for example, which DeSantis wisely banned from his state’s classrooms in March, is shot through with Marxist ideology.
But there’s a much more compelling story to teach to our children, and DeSantis knows it. “Why would somebody flee across shark infested waters, say leaving from Cuba, to come to southern Florida?” he asks. “Why would somebody leave a place like Vietnam? Why would people leave these countries and risk their life to be able to come here? It’s important that students understand that.”
As Solomon continues, “One of the bills the Florida governor signed protects free speech at state universities by banning schools from censoring ideas and opinions ‘they may find uncomfortable, unwelcome, disagreeable, or offensive.’”
DeSantis put it this way:
It used be thought that a university campus was a place where you’d be exposed to a lot of different ideas. Unfortunately now, the norm is really these are more intellectually repressive environments. You have orthodoxies that are promoted and other viewpoints are shunned, or even suppressed. We don’t want that in Florida.
Is it any wonder, then, that Donald Trump Jr. said recently that if his dad isn’t the guy in 2024, then the 42-year-old Florida governor likely is? “I think, you know, what Ron DeSantis has done in Florida is outstanding,” he said. “I think he’s a case study right now. We need more people willing to take [the Left] on like he has.”
Trump Jr. went on to note that DeSantis has “a very bright continuing future, whether that’s with my father, whether that’s — if my father doesn’t run — on his own.”
“Give me four years to teach the children,” said Vladimir Lenin, the infamous founding father of Soviet communism, “and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”
Ron DeSantis clearly understands his history, and he’s not about to let the children and young adults of Florida fall victim to the latter-day Leninists who infect our educational institutions at every level.
As for our nation’s other governors, we can think of more than a few who have some catching up to do.
Suppression of information, mandates, and big goals are turning people off.
One of the great ironies exposed during the coronavirus pandemic is the professed dedication to Science™ from the same people suppressing scientific debate.
The American Heritage Dictionary defines science as a noun meaning “the observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of phenomena.” In other words, to paraphrase the great “scientist” Steven Tyler from the rock band Aerosmith, science is often a journey, not a destination.
Some science is settled, of course, like the fact that there are two biological sexes, or that life begins at conception. The usual suspects suppress or reject that science. Other science is still undetermined because the subject matter is relatively new.
Take COVID vaccines, for instance.
It was an impressive feat of scientific achievement that multiple vaccines were developed last year in record time. Much credit goes to President Donald Trump for initiating Operation Warp Speed — never mind President Joe Biden’s disgraceful attempts to take credit. More on that in a moment.
Yet because these vaccines were developed using new mRNA technology, and they were designed to fight a novel virus, the short clinical testing and emergency approval left a lot of questions unanswered. For example: How does this vaccine perform in the population at large? What are the side effects, and how dangerous are they? Should people who’ve had COVID still get the vaccine?
A study in Norway is attempting to determine correlation or causation in the deaths of 100 nursing home residents who received the Pfizer vaccine. It was “likely” a factor in 10 deaths, and “possibly” a factor in another 26. Serious questions like these deserve investigation and open and honest answers.
The only thing anyone can do is make a choice based on the best information possible. But when information is suppressed because of the political bent of social media platforms or news organizations, we’re left with less information than we need.
It’s little surprise, therefore, that after the initial surge in vaccination among the American population, the rate has tailed off dramatically. In fact, as we noted, Biden has on multiple occasions wrongly taken credit for getting so many Americans vaccinated so quickly. In the first couple of months after he took office, all he had to do was not drop the baton Trump handed him.
Maintaining the pace, however, was Biden’s responsibility — at least insofar as a president even plays a role in private medical decisions, which is perhaps an entirely different story.
Well, on Tuesday, the White House quietly conceded that the U.S. will not reach Biden’s goal of vaccinating 70% of American adults by July 4. This was the only goal for which Biden has been truly responsible, and he couldn’t meet it.
The most hesitant group is adults age 18-26 — the only demographic that will not hit 70%, and also the reason for the overall shortfall. We’ll make a few brief bulleted points:
The virus has roughly a 99.994% survivability rate among people age 20-24, and that’s if they’re among the one in 10 Americans of any age who’ve even contracted the virus.
Young people generally see themselves as somewhat invincible, yet this age group is also the most fearful of COVID. This fear manifests as both vaccine hesitancy and mask dependency.
Vaccine advocates like Joe Biden have for months sent mixed signals that life won’t really change much after getting “the jab.” So, many wonder, why become a guinea pig?
The aforementioned mandates among schools and employers — with the accompanying lost jobs and even criminal charges — naturally make some people all the more resistant to submission. (This is America, after all.) The same was the case with isolation, masks, etc., but it’s even more true of an emergency-approved and still unsettled vaccine.
To tie it all together, taking vaccines is and should be in most cases a personal decision. That decision should be informed by as much non-politicized information as possible. And that information should be readily accessible, not suppressed by platforms that falsely claim to have your best interests at heart. As with so many things, the dishonest and often tyrannical response to COVID has undermined these basic truths.
A Christian nonprofit was denied tax-exempt status in what seems like a continuation of Obama’s enemies list.
One of the little-known achievements of Donald Trump’s administration was its settlement of lawsuits brought forth by various Tea Party groups that claimed Barack Obama’s IRS was using “inappropriate criteria” to deny their applications for tax-exempt status. That’s putting it mildly. As was his standard practice with the federal government, Obama had weaponized the IRS against his political opponents.
At the time the lawsuit was settled, Tea Party Patriots head Jenny Beth Martin correctly claimed, “These are groups of law-abiding citizens who should have never had their First Amendment rights infringed upon by the IRS.”
Well, in the words of the great philosopher Yogi Berra, under Joe Biden’s administration, it may be déjà vu all over again. But since the Tea Party has essentially met its demise — thanks in part to the arbitrary denial of tax-exempt status — the target is shifting to religious-based groups.
It was recently revealed that a Christian voter advocacy group called Christians Engaged was denied tax-exempt status by the IRS.
“Specifically, you educate Christians on what the Bible says in areas where they can be instrumental including the areas of sanctity of life, the definition of marriage, biblical justice, freedom of speech, defense, and borders and immigration, U.S. and Israel relations,” read a letter from IRS Exempt Organizations Director Stephen Martin explaining the rejection. “The Bible teachings are typically affiliated with the [Republican Party] and candidates. This disqualifies you from exemption under IRC Section 501(c)(3).”
In announcing an appeal, First Liberty Institute — a religious freedom public interest law firm — claimed this could be grounds to shut down Christian groups around the country.
After all, the IRS may be threatened by any group that “invites individuals to pledge to pray regularly for the nation, vote in every election, and ‘commit to some form of political education or activism for the furtherance of our nation.’” But in this case, Christians Engaged “also follows up with election reminders, but it does not produce voter guides or otherwise suggest that recipients should vote for or against any particular candidate or candidates.”
Obviously, the IRS contention regarding Bible teachings was not lost on severalcommentators, which also led to the comparison to Joe Biden’s Catholicism. Some, like Townhall’s Michael Brown, took it even further, concluding, “While the IRS ruled quite wrongly in denying Christians Engaged tax-exempt status, it ironically got one thing right: if you teach the Bible accurately, by and large, you’ll end up siding with the Republicans rather than the Democrats.”
But the reason we brought this issue to readers’ attention once again was to refresh memories of the litany of abuse that nonprofits endured under the Obama regime, and to ponder just what else this really signals. “This IRS ruling is more than just shutting down an attempt by a Texas organization to energize Christian voters,” as one RedState commentator put it. Eventually “it will be seen as one of the first acts to ban Christianity from the public square.”
Where we differ with this assessment is in degrees. We happen to see this IRS action as not a “first act” but as just another step in a long march by the Left and Democrats against Christianity. One that, for example, could use some of those billions of additional dollars Biden intends to give the IRS to enhance enforcement of the Johnson Amendment to strip churches of their tax-exempt status, a long-cherished dream of the atheist Left. (The ones who constantly scream about “separation of church and state” completely misunderstand the original intent.) While many churches could survive that kind of expense, it would render unto Caesar money that they would otherwise render unto God for their mission.
For those who hate religion because it reminds them they have a conscience, their mission is to neutralize any church that overtly preaches the Word. Getting the government involved is just icing on the cake to them, so it’s a sure bet they’re rooting for the corrupt IRS on this one.
The historic Air Force base, which trains our best fighter pilots, recently hosted a drag queen show.
We wonder what the major malfunction is at Nellis Air Force Base. Nellis is, after all, “The Home of the Fighter Pilot,” the home of the Thunderbirds, the home of the U.S. Air Force’s Warfare Center, and the place whose mission has historically been to train the best combat aviators and air crews in the world.
So what are its leaders doing hosting a drag queen show at one of their on-base dining and entertainment clubs? Are we now trying to make the ChiComs and the Russians laugh themselves to death?
Nellis Air Force Base and the 99th Air Base Wing hosted its first-ever drag show Thursday, June 17, at the Nellis Club. The event was sponsored by a private organization and provided an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the history and significance of drag performance art within the LGBT+ community.
Ensuring our ranks reflect and are inclusive of the American people is essential to the morale, cohesion, and readiness of the military. Nellis Air Force Base is committed to providing and championing an environment that is characterized by equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion.
We wonder: What does drag performance within the so-called LGBT+ community have to do with fighter pilot performance within the U.S. military community? And since when is this sort of aberrant behavior by a vanishingly small segment of the American people essential to the morale, cohesion, and readiness of our nation’s military?
And what might the base’s namesake, who flew 70 combat missions in the European Air Theater during World War II before being shot down over Luxembourg during the Battle of the Bulge — what might 1st Lieutenant William Nellis have thought of all this?
Air Force veteran podcaster “BK” alerted a wider audience about the event by posting a digital flier that read: “DRAG-U-NELLIS” and “CLASS IS IN SESSION.”
As BK put it, “So Nellis AFB is having a base-sanctioned drag Queen show; isn’t that awesome? Maybe some of our military ‘journalists’ can call them up and ask them about this.”
Earlier this week, we suggested that President Joe Biden was at war with his own military, given that he’s done so much since taking office to demoralize our troops and degrade their warfighting capability. Rooting out “extremism” and “white supremacy” within the ranks seems to be the top priority of this commander-in-chief, followed closely by ensuring that “transgender” warriors are able to have their sex change surgeries on the taxpayers’ dime.
This Nellis stuff is of a piece with all that. And it serves no good warfighting purpose.
A unanimous SCOTUS ruling opens the door for student athletes to seek financial compensation.
The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday handed down yet another unanimous decision, ruling against the NCAA’s rules on limited education-related benefits for student athletes. Declaring the NCAA in violation of the Sherman Act, the justices in NCAA v. Alston rejected the NCAA’s argument that its monopoly is legitimate. Maybe bigger than the ruling itself are the future implications — the Court has effectively opened the door for student athletes to eventually win the right to enjoy financial compensation for their play.
In his opinion, Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote:
No one disputes that the NCAA’s restrictions in fact decrease the compensation that student-athletes receive compared to what a competitive market would yield. No one questions either that decreases in compensation also depress participation by student-athletes in the relevant labor market — so that price and quantity are both suppressed.
The justices did note the NCAA’s argument that without its compensation-limiting rule, there would be no amateur sports; all athletes would be professionals:
The NCAA’s only remaining defense was that its rules preserve amateurism, which in turn widens consumer choice by providing a unique product — amateur college sports as distinct from professional sports. Admittedly, this asserted benefit accrues to consumers in the NCAA’s seller-side consumer market rather than to student-athletes whose compensation the NCAA fixes in its buyer-side labor market.
However, even given that reality, the justices still saw the current situation as untenable. Justice Brett Kavanaugh cut directly to the heart of the issue in his concurring opinion: “Price-fixing labor is price-fixing labor. … The NCAA’s business model would be flatly illegal in almost any other industry in America.” Kavanaugh further observed:
The bottom line is that the NCAA and its member colleges are suppressing the pay of student athletes who collectively generate billions of dollars in revenues for colleges every year. Those enormous sums of money flow to seemingly everyone except the student athletes. College presidents, athletic directors, coaches, conference commissioners, and NCAA executives take in six- and seven-figure salaries. Colleges build lavish new facilities. But the student athletes who generate the revenues, many of whom are African American and from lower-income backgrounds, end up with little or nothing.
For many college sports fans, this decision may strike against the long-held ideal of the collegiate amateur athlete playing for school loyalty with the only compensation being that of a “free” or discounted education. We certainly sympathize with this appeal for college sports. In many respects, that model will likely still remain the ideal and the norm for the vast majority of college athletes.
However, it cannot be denied that superstar college athletes generate wealth for their schools well beyond the cost of their degree — massive amounts of capital that they have been excluded from enjoying. In a capitalist economy, there’s something wrong with that. And the Supreme Court just opened the door for it to change.
Insight: “If newsmen do not tell the truth as they see it because it might make waves, or if their bosses decide something should or should not be broadcast because of Washington or Main Street consequences, we have dishonored ourselves and we have lost the First Amendment by default.” —former CBS News President Richard Salant (1914-1993)
Upright: “Allowing biological males to compete in all female sports deprives women of the opportunity to participate fully and fairly in sports and is fundamentally unfair to female athletes.” —then-Attorney General William Barr in March 2020
Good question: “If America is systemically racist, why have millions of blacks from Africa and the Caribbean come to this country over the past 50 years? Why would they and many millions more want to move from all-black societies to a white-dominated, racist one? This is a question every black and white leftist should be asked. After all, no Jews moved to Germany in the 1930s. And why didn’t any? After all, many Jews were suffering terrible persecution and poverty in Russia and in Eastern Europe. Why didn’t any of them move to Germany after 1933? We all know the answer: Because Germany was systemically antisemitic.” —Dennis Prager
Observations: “WANTED: Trained security professionals to deal with elevated levels of crime and mayhem at risk to their own life and limb, while getting called racist oppressors and potentially thrown under the bus by elected officials. This has become the de facto employment notice for police around the country, and, unsurprisingly, cops and prospective cops don’t find it particularly enticing. Why would they? … We aren’t going to keep or recruit good cops unless the job description, which has become so off-putting, is again worthy of the indispensability of the work.” —Rich Lowry
Re: The Left: “With the creation of June 19th (‘Juneteenth’) as a federal holiday, Democrats have one more claim to be the party of civil rights and equal opportunity for African Americans, though most Republicans also voted for the holiday. That claim has been promoted for decades by a compliant media, academia and high-profile politicians, but the facts say otherwise. … While Democrats are now claiming another victory for themselves, they might want to consider establishing an additional special occasion. Given their party’s deplorable civil rights record, it could be called a day of atonement.” —Cal Thomas
Grand delusions: “Democrats in Congress unanimously came together to protect the sacred right to vote. In supporting the For the People Act and defending the rights of voters, they stood united for democracy. They stood against the ongoing assault of voter suppression that represents a Jim Crow era in the 21st Century. Unfortunately, a Democratic stand to protect our democracy met a solid Republican wall of opposition. … It was the suppression of a bill to end voter suppression — another attack on voting rights that is sadly not unprecedented.” —Joe Biden
Demagogue: “We can’t wait until the next election [for HR 1] because if we have the same kinds of shenanigans that brought about January 6, if we have that for a couple more election cycles, we’re going to have real problems in terms of our democracy long term.” —Barack Obama regarding the Democrats’ bulk-mail ballot fraud strategy

The BIG Lie: “Republicans love to create outrage over things that aren’t actually happening. People should be asking them, what elementary, middle and high school is teaching Critical Race Theory and why they are spinning false narratives.” —Congresswoman Ilhan Omar
Dezinformatsiya: “Critical race theory is yet another tool in the racial, tribal boogeyman’s toolbox to drive and inflame tribalism which Republicans think helps them in elections. This is Trump 2.0. It is a continuation of this. Critical race theory is an arcane ideal. Why is it front and center right now? The same reason Mitch McConnell attacked Stacey Abrams when she came out for the voting bill. It is racial. It is tribalism. We’ve seen it grow under Trump. This is part and parcel of it. They think this helps ignite their base. This is not grassroots.” —MSNBC’s Cornell Belcher
Race bait: “The American flag has been hijacked as code for a specific belief. God bless those believers, they can have it. Like the Confederate, it is tattered, dated, divisive, and incorrect. It no longer represents democracy and freedom. It no longer represents ALL of us. It’s not fair to be forced to honor it. It’s time for a new flag.” —singer Macy Gray
And last… “A gay NFL player is making more headlines than a [Democrat] member of the senate and his wife belonging to an all white country club that the senator defends as ‘a long tradition.’” —Erick Erickson
France’s Macron Pushes Controls on Religion to Pressure Mosques He demands mosques endorse nation’s secular values, seeks power to close houses of worship if any members provoke violence or incite hatred In recent months, his administration has ousted the leadership of a mosque after temporarily closing it and poring over its finances. Another mosque gave up millions in subsidies after the government pressured local officials over the funding. A dozen other mosques have faced orders to close temporarily for safety or fire-code violations. The government has taken these actions as a precursor to a much broader push to rein in the independence of mosques and other religious organizations across France.

Wrath of Claudette reintroduces US to hurricane season horrors The hurricane season couldn’t wait until summer to start striking the United States. On the final day of spring, Tropical Storm Claudette reintroduced the Southeast to the horrors of hurricane season in deadly fashion. The storm burst onto radars last week before being dubbed Potential Tropical Cyclone Three on Thursday. By Saturday, the system had strengthened enough to be given the name Claudette, becoming the third named storm of the 2021 season. The storm struck along the U.S. Gulf Coast and killed over a dozen people in the Southeast.
Experimental brain implant instantly detects and relieves pain Researchers from the New York University School of Medicine have developed a brain implant designed to detect pain sensations in real-time and deliver bursts of pain-relieving stimulation. The device is still deeply experimental but a new proof of concept study demonstrates it working effectively in rodent models.
Severe California drought, Western heat wave: Here’s how bad it really is, how to monitor The megadrought in the western US, including Arizona, Utah and California, the country’s most populous state and major source of produce, is getting biblical. Record-toppling, early-season heat waves well into the triple digits has some beginning to seriously consider the prospect that ratcheting temperatures and sever lack of rainfall could even be permanent. And research that doesn’t even include the last two years suggests the period between 2000 and 2018 in the Southwest was the driest such span seen in over four centuries.
Hamas, modern day’s barbaric Nazi force Despite ceasefire following 11-day’s notorious rocket attacks on Israel, Palestinian ISIS Hamas seems to be determined in never ending its barbaric attacks on targets inside Israel. Late Stage Globalism: When Anything That Is Not Censored Is A Lie Over the past few weeks in my weekly #AxisOfEasy newsletter I’ve been covering how Big Tech and the corporate media tried, unsuccessfully, to keep a lid on the Wuhan Lab origin narrative. At one point I half-joked “I’ll shut up about this when it’s safe to talk about Ivermectin”. This week, I did end up writing a piece about Ivermectin, namely how doctors can’t even mention it in their videos or podcast appearances without being penalized by social media platforms. , I find it a little presumptuous for a wire service to be fact checking senate testimony. Isn’t the job of the committee holding the hearing largely that of fact-finding?
Iranian President-Elect Rejects Biden Meeting and Refuses Negotiations Iran’s newly elected hardline president, Ebrahim Raisi, said in his first press conference on Monday that he will not allow negotiations to take place on the country’s contested missile program, which includes long-range ballistic missiles capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. He also said that he will not agree to any future meetings with President Joe Biden. Raisi, a former chief justice who authorized the murder of thousands of dissidents, also said Iran will not agree to any new nuclear agreement without the Biden administration first unilaterally lifting all economic sanctions on the country.
New surge of dangerous heat to challenge Seattle, Portland records Just a couple of days into summer and much of the western United States has already experienced its share of extreme heat. Iowa gov. signs bill for harsher penalties for rioters, more police legal protections Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed into law pro-police legislation on Thursday to increase legal protections for law enforcement and implement harsher punishments for riots and unlawful assembly crimes. The “Back the Blue Act,” or SF 342, makes rioting a felony offense, establishes qualified immunity, increases due process protections for police, and “increases penalties on a range of other destructive behaviors,” the governor’s office said in a statement. It also makes local governments accountable for policies that prevent local law enforcement from doing their jobs.

Permanent “lethargy syndrome” and long-term loss of motor skills now common “side-effects” of Covid-19 vaccines Plain and simple, lethargy is a lack of enthusiasm and energy, but what causes it? It could just be normal response to stress, overworking, lack of a good night’s rest, or even lack of nutrition. Everyone is familiar with feeling sluggish and weak, but not permanently, immediately following inoculation with the Covid-19 vaccines. This is different. After a few weeks, and several doctor visits, nobody seems to be able to figure out what’s wrong, and that’s because the “science is settled” on vaccines, though not really at all.
The Global Power Structure Behind OPERATION COVID-19 & COVID KILL SHOT Exposes Itself Multiple Crime Waves of COVID-19 Bioterrorism, the Covid Super Vaccination Agenda and COVID-1984 Implementation Plan Could Only Be Executed Worldwide Via a Highly Organized and Complex Global Criminal Conspiracy Supported by Every Major Government, NGO, Scientific Research Institution, Fortune 1000 Company, College & University, and Secret Society on the Planet
Democrats have been pushing mask mandates since 1865 Notice how its all the blue states that are still enforcing mask mandates and pushing the hardest for vaccination? The scamdemic is how the election was stolen by the REAL white supremacists (Democrats), who hate Blacks, and Jews, and Christians, and all Americans for that matter. The hooded Democrats are still hard at work cheating, lying, stealing, persecuting, race-bating, and staging events to keep their base wallowing in hate, racism and stupidity.
Bioweapon research has been taking place for over a decade, and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and EcoHealth Alliance aren’t the only US institutions funding this unethical, highly controversial research in China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology. In fact, U.S. taxpayer money is also being funneled into bioweapons research through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) along with funds from Google Inc.!
Why a judge has Georgia vote fraud on his mind: ‘Pristine’ Biden ballots that looked Xeroxed Adding to suspicions, she noticed that all of the ballots were printed on different stock paper than the others she handled as part of a statewide hand recount of the razor-thin Nov. 3 presidential election. And none was folded or creased, as she typically observed in mail-in ballots that had been removed from envelopes. In short, the Biden votes looked like they’d been duplicated by a copying machine.
FIRST ON FOX: 21 Republicans, led by Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., on Wednesday introduced a resolution to censure President Biden for what the lawmakers described as a “failure” to faithfully execute U.S. border and immigration laws – as Republicans continue to hit the administration for its handling of the crisis at the southern border.
We are witnessing a very disturbing media trend. Serving an ideology and scoring political points trumps informing citizens. We had the Russiagate hoax, the impeachment hoax, and the suppression of any debate on the origin of Covid.

It’s increasingly clear that traditional school subjects are dripping with racism, white supremacy, and the patriarchy. We need to toss those problematic subjects and replace them with things that are woke, inclusive, and a whole lot more fun.
Here are nine problematic school subjects and what we should replace them with:
Replace Math with Advanced Oppression Score Calculation — Instead of adding up racist numbers, add up intersectional numbers to see how oppressed you are. Much more inclusive!
Replace Gym with Anti-Fatphobic Body-Positive Words of Affirmation Training – Everyone will just sit in a room and whisper words of positivity to the fat kids while they eat Cheez-Its.
Replace Sex Ed with Gay Sex Ed – Wait this isn’t satire.
Replace Reading with Drag Queen Story Hour – Dang it not satire again.
Replace Biology with Creative Writing about what Gender You Are – Biology is all about facts, and facts have no place in a leftist worldview. Instead of learning about how a fetus is a human and there are two sexes, have the kids do a little creative gender writing.
Replace History with Fiction about how Great Socialist Countries Have Been – Facts are out. Fiction is in.
Replace Home Economics with Advanced Peaceful Protesting – Instead of learning how to fold laundry and clean your room, students should learn how to criticize the world.
Replace Social Studies with Socialist Studies – Much better.
Replace Dodgeball with Throwing Bricks at White Kids – If you can dodge a brick, you can dodge a Molotov cocktail.
Now go forth and topple our educational system and entire society! Everybody’s doing it. Well, except China. What could go wrong?
A day after Dong Jingwei’s defection to the US was reported by intelligence tracking site SpyTalk, a report in the South China Morning Post (SCMP) claimed that the Chinese official appeared at a government seminar on the mainland. However, the report didn’t reveal the location of the seminar, nor did it include any pictures of Dong at the event.
Dong Jingwei, China’s Vice Minister of State Security, who is believed to have defected to the US, has information about Hunter Biden’s business dealings in China, American-Chinese businessman and Republican lobbyist Solomon Yue has claimed.
Dong Jingwei, 57, is the second-highest ranking official in Guoanbu, or the Chinese Ministry of State Security (MSS).
“I understand that the defector also brings the Biden scandal… Biden, I am talking about Hunter Biden. And when you have this kind of case, it is a double-edged sword,” Yue said in an interview to a pro-freedom Chinese activist in the US.
Yue is currently the vice chair of Republican Overseas and a member of the Republican National Convention, held every four years to nominate a presidential candidate.
Yue claims that he has a “reliable” source in the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), which currently has custody of Dong.
“I bet my Republican National Committee’s position on DIA has Dong Jingwei in its protective custody. If I lose the bet, I resign my RNC position,” he said.
I bet my Republican Nat’l Committeeman position on DIA has Dong Jingwei (董经纬) in its protective custody. If I lose the bet, I resign my RNC position. If .@huijianonline loses it, I want $10,000.💰goes to the reporter who broke the story .@jenvanlaar 1st Amendment defense fund. https://t.co/C0ivuiBVeG
The allegations against US President Joe Biden’s son Hunter came in response to a question on why the US media wasn’t playing up the defector’s case, which has been covered in the British, Australian and even Indian media.
Hunter is currently being investigated by the US Department of Justice over allegations of using his father’s influence as former US Vice President in the Barack Obama administration to secure lucrative business deals in Ukraine as well as China.
“One the one hand, he can reveal what’s going on with the coronavirus, what’s going on with the Americans. In identifying the Communist Party of China and Chinese assets in the US… But he could also talk about Hunter Biden, pictures, videos and the whole Hunter Biden China spying efforts, technology… This stuff could be very embarrassing to the Biden administration,” Yue stated.
Yue claimed that the Biden administration ordered an intelligence review of COVID’s origins last month because he knew about the Chinese government defector.
According to US website SpyTalk, Dong fled to the US with his daughter Dong Yang. Dr. Han Lianchao, a former Chinese foreign ministry official who defected to the US after the 1989 Tiananmen Square Protests, was quoted by SpyTalk as saying that Beijing never “admitted” any of its defections.
“For example, Yu Qiangsheng, who was a department-level MSS official…defected to the U.S. in 1985, but China never admitted his defection, even today,” Dr Han said.
According to reports in overseas Chinese language media, Dong was last seen in public in September 2020. His photos on Chinese search engine Baidu have also reportedly been scrubbed from the internet by official censors.
