There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
In many places, Christians face constant attacks on their faith from friends, family members, coworkers, and others. How should we respond when we’re addressed with questions about what we believe? In this message, R.C. Sproul underlines the importance of always being prepared to give an answer for the hope within us (1 Peter 3:15).
If anyone ever had good reason to withhold forgiveness from his enemies, it was the Lord Jesus. He was the only true victim—totally innocent of any wrongdoing. He never broke the law of God. He never sinned in His actions, words, or thoughts. He never yielded to any temptation whatsoever.
For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all sections, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. (Amos 9:9)
The sifting process is going on still. Wherever we go, we are still being winnowed and sifted. In all countries God’s people are being tried “like as corn is sifted in a sieve.” Sometimes the devil holds the sieve and tosses us up and down at a great rate, with the earnest desire to get rid of us forever. Unbelief is not slow to agitate our heart and mind with its restless fears. The world lends a willing hand at the same process and shakes us to the right and to the left with great vigor. Worst of all, the church, so largely apostate as it is, comes in to give a more furious force to the sifting process.
Well, well! Let it go on. Thus is the chaff severed from the wheat. Thus is the wheat delivered from dust and chaff. And how great is the mercy which comes to us in the text, “Yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth”! All shall be preserved that is good, true, gracious. Not one of the least of believers lose anything worth calling a loss. We shall be so kept in the sifting that it shall be a real gain to us through Christ Jesus.
“Is it being said, O house of Jacob:
‘Is the Spirit of the LORD impatient?
Are these His doings?’
Do not My words do good
To the one walking uprightly?” (Micah 2:7) New American Standard Bible 1995 (NASB95)
The Holy Spirit, the Need of the Age! – Charles Spurgeon Sermon
Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the “Prince of Preachers.” In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon’s which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon’s College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.
I heard the heartache in my best friend’s voice, “We had to hospitalize our son last night. He was threatening violence.” I could feel the pain and anguish through the phone lines and my heart went out to her.
My dearest friend is living day in and day out with an incredibly difficult situation. Times without number she has felt that God has asked her to handle situations that are beyond what she can bear. And yet, every time I see God’s grace exhibited in her life and in the life of her son.
They CHOSE to love a boy that was not their own.
Seven years ago, she and her husband chose to love a young boy that was not their own. They welcomed him into their family and he became theirs. He immediately had all the privileges of a son – love, care, family vacations, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and cousins, wealth and most of all he was able to learn about God and His love for him.
He was given the privileges of a son!
(Isn’t that what God did for us! He chose us to be His own children and welcomed us into the family with all the rights as an heir. We hold the same privileges as His Son, Jesus. “But when the right time came, God sent His Son . . . God sent Him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that He could adopt us as his very own children . . . Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are His child, everything He has belongs to you.” Galatians 4:4-5, 7)
This journey has not been easy, in fact I know she would say that it is, hands down, the hardest thing she has ever done or will do. And there is no guarantee of the future.
Unable to accept this gift of LOVE. . .
You see, their little boy, even though he has been given this amazing gift of love, cannot accept it. His past and the things that happened to him before he came to live with them have scarred his life and are holding him captive. He is unable to embrace this love, to bask in its warmth and to allow its light to shine in his life. He has built a fortress around his heart and to let that love in is too frightening and threatening for him. He wants the love and is drawn to it but then pulls away because it threatens to break down his defenses.
As I watch this gifted and talented young boy run from true, unfailing, unconditional love, I cannot help but see myself reflected in him.
Why does my heart do this yo-yo dance with God?
I do this very thing with God. I am His chosen child and I want His love, in fact I’m drawn to it like a moth to a flame but then I find myself pulling away because His love exposes my innermost being and I don’t like what I see. . . Why is it so hard to receive pure and undefiled love? Why does my heart do this yo-yo dance with God? Why do I allow fear to keep me from completely enjoying and reveling in God’s incredible love? . . . . .
And then I think of my friend and her incredible love for her son. She has given everything for him. She loves him unconditionally and no matter how she is treated by him, she continues to give of herself, to endure through the pain and to love unconditionally.
True, Unconditional LOVE . . .
She is my hero! She is the strongest person I know and she demonstrates God’s great love and incredible patience with him every day 24-7, 365 days a year! In her weakness I see her strength in God grow and in her brokenness and pain I have seen God bring her unspeakable joy.
And as I see myself reflected in her son, I see God reflected in her – His grace that I did nothing to deserve, His patience when I am obnoxious and hurtful, His love when I am unlovely, His gentle touch when I am hurting and in pain. That’s how my friend loves her son and that’s how God loves me!
“How great is the love the Father has LAVISHED on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” 1 John 3:1 (NIV)
Would you like to know Jesus? You can have peace and find hope and know forgiveness through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer. Praying is simply talking to God. God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. Here’s a suggested prayer:
Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life to You and ask You to come in as my Saviour and Lord. Take control of my life. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Bring peace to my world this Christmas. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.Amen
“Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:29, NLT, emphasis mine)
If anyone has the right to NOT be humble, it’s Jesus. He fed thousands with just a loaf of bread and a fish, turned water into wine, walked on water and raised people from the dead. Jesus is God, but nevertheless He “gave up his divine privileges” and “took the humble position of a slave.” (Philippians 2:7)
Jesus also has the right to NOT be gentle as he looks around and sees immorality and lack of faith. Jesus sighed with grief at the lack of faith he saw around him, (Mark 8:12) but He’s described as “gentle and humble in heart.” (Matthew 11:29) We may have many reasons to be proud: success in business, a wonderful family, or perhaps special talent in music or art. But we must remain humble, remembering that “while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) And we may have many reasons to be ruthless: a really bad day or being treated unjustly. But “this is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.” (1 John 3:16)The signs to humility and gentleness all point in the same direction: Allow Jesus to teach you to become more like Him. “I have set you an example,” says Jesus, “that you should do as I have done for you.” (John 13:15) It will not happen overnight, but by focusing on God’s Word, gazing at the life of Christ and relying on the power of the Holy Spirit, it certainly will. What step could you take to be more gentle and humble like Jesus?
Lord, when I look at You I see how I’m not like You in many ways. Help me be humble and gentle like you, thinking of the needs of others above my own. Please do heart surgery in me so I can express love even when life gets hard. Amen.
Thought: Take five minutes to look back on your week. When did you express pride in your thoughts or actions? When did you treat others wrongly out of impatience or frustration? Hand over each situation honestly to Jesus in prayer and ask him to change you.
When we encounter a person in need, our priority should not be to condemn him with questions about how he entered that situation, but to help him. Today, R.C. Sproul expounds on one of Jesus’ most beloved parables–and one of the most challenging.
Biden warns gun owners: ‘You need an F-15 to fight the gov’t’ President Joe Biden again warned “right-wing Americans” who support the Second Amendment on Tuesday, asserting they would “need an F-15” to take on the government. Biden then appeared to accuse the same Americans of “shooting at” police. “And for those brave right-wing Americans who say [the Second Amendment] is all about keeping America independent and safe, if you want to fight against the country, you need an F-15. You need something more than a gun,” Biden said, mocking Second Amendment advocates while speaking to a crowd in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Poll Worker Goes to Wipe Down Voting Machine, Discovers Haunting Four Word Message on the Screen On the last day of voting in Colorado’s June primary, a poll worker sent to wipe down a voting machine found a concerning error message on its screen: “USB device change detected.” The machine, used to mark ballots electronically, was taken out of use, and an investigation launched. The message raised concerns that a voter had tried to tamper with it by inserting an off-the-shelf thumb drive.
25k Dead Voters Allegedly on Michigan’s Voter Roll – Court Gloriously Denies Dem Leader’s Attempt to Dismiss It A federal district court judge in Michigan on Thursday denied Democrat Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s efforts to dismiss a lawsuit against her office for failing to remove deceased registrants from the state’s voter rolls. In November, the Public Interest Legal Foundation filed the suit, claiming their analysis determined 25,975 dead Michiganders were registered to vote as of August 2021. Of those, 23,663 had been dead for five or more years, while 17,479 had been dead for more than a decade and 3,596 had been dead for at least 20 years.
Faith-based physicians group sues for right to define ‘free and fair’ A medical nonprofit group is suing the State of Michigan because the doctors’ values conflict with the state government’s definition of what is “free and fair” in The Wolverine State. Alliance Defending Freedom has filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of Christian Healthcare Centers, a unique nonprofit that sees patients at two primary care offices in the state. That wokeness goes beyond powerful Democrats in Michigan’s highest public offices: The American Medical Association supports the mental illness-ignoring transgender craze, too, including the usage of “personal pronouns” such as “they” and “them.”
Light rail crime remains 200% higher than 2019 Crime on Metro Transit’s light rail remains nearly 200% higher than 2019, according to data obtained by Alpha News. However, crime is down 24% from 2020, when more than 3,000 crimes were committed on light rail despite a huge drop in ridership, which continued to decline last year. According to data from Metro Transit, there were 806 crimes reported on light rail in 2019. That number jumped to 3,176 in 2020 and 2,407 last year.
Hospital that promoted disputed puberty blocker study tried to hide mistakes, avoid questions The University of Washington (UW) and Seattle Children’s Hospital (SCH) conspired to cover their tracks after falsely claiming their study had found that puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones improved mental health for transgender youths, according to emails obtained by Jason Rantz. UW and SCH spokespeople agreed not to correct inaccurate news articles that were written based off their press release and to ignore questions from outlets they characterized as conservative, it was *only* conservative outlets that reached out about this scandal.
US computer firm Dell ceases Russia operations Dell Technologies on August 27 said it had ended all operations in Russia after shutting its offices earlier this month, becoming the latest Western company to leave Russia in the face of Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Dell, a U.S. computer company, is a key supplier of servers in Russia.
10 Facts Electric Vehicle Advocates Don’t Want You To Know The central reason the Left loves EVs is that the process of forcing Americans to convert to electric-powered transportation will destroy forever the incredible freedom and prosperity associated with privately owned gas-powered vehicles. The future will instead be centrally controlled by rich elitists and their corrupt politicians, power-hungry bureaucrats, and ideologically driven “experts.”
China Is Aggressively Reselling Russian Gas To Europe China bought a total of 2.35 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) – valued at US$2.16 billion. The import volume increased by 28.7% year on year, with the value surging by 182%. It meant Russia has surpassed Indonesia and the United States to become China’s fourth-largest supplier of LNG so far this year! This, of course, is not to be confused with pipeline gas, where Russian producer Gazprom recently announced that its daily supplies to China via the Power of Siberia pipeline had reached a new all-time high …
Nuclear Power Is Staging A Remarkable Comeback Faced with an unprecedented energy crisis, governments in the West are rethinking their long-held positions on the role of nuclear power generation, setting the stage for what could be the biggest energy source ‘comeback’ story of recent times.
If Israel fails to stop nuclear deal, it still has military means to prevent Iranian bomb “As long as the deal is not concluded we shall make an effort, definitely the Mossad chief’s visit is a main card, it’s one of our aces,” Kuperwasser told The Media Line, adding that Prime Minister Yair Lapid is trying to speak personally with President Biden. “There’s never a last card to play; as long as they have not concluded the deal, Israel will play any possible card in order to convince the Americans” not to sign a new JCPOA,
Head of new IRS armed enforcement wing targeted Pro-Israel, conservative groups A Treasury official told Reuters that most of the new hires would go toward filling positions for 50,000 IRS employees who are on the verge of retirement and that the majority of net new hires would serve in customer service roles like upgrading IT systems or answering calls. Contrary to this claim, however, a report by the Congressional Research Service showed that the largest increase in the IRS resulting from the Inflation Reduction Act would be in enforcement,

Top Anti-Trump FBI Official Reportedly Escorted Out of Office by ‘Headquarters-Looking Types’ A top FBI official at the center of allegations by whistleblowers of political bias in the bureau against former President Donald Trump has apparently resigned under pressure after a report he was escorted out of his office by “headquarters-looking types” last week. Timothy Thibualt, now the former assistant special agent in charge of the Washington field office, had come under fire after he allegedly interfered with an assessment of the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, according to whistleblower reports.
Dem Handed Down Felony Charge by Grand Jury – Could Face 3 Years in Prison and $100K Fine Democratic Colorado State Senator and chair of the chamber’s judicial committee Pete Lee was indicted at the beginning of the month on a felony charge for allegedly lying for the purpose of voting about where he lives. On Aug. 3, an El Paso County grand jury indicted Lee, but the state senator denied the charges, the Associated Press reported. The grand jury indictment alleges that on March 3, 2020, Lee “voted giving false information regarding the elector’s place of present residence,” the Colorado Sun reported. Providing false information about residence is a Class 5 felony.
Why Are So Many Bad Things Happening To America In 2022? The current crop of politicians in Washington is the worst that we have had in our entire history, and all of the “solutions” they give us just seem to make matters even worse. This weekend, I came across a very intriguing article in the Jerusalem Post entitled “Is God punishing the United States of America?” Sadly, he is right on target. Unfortunately, the vast majority of the population has no idea what is ahead, and so most of them are going to be absolutely blind-sided by the cataclysmic events that are rapidly coming our way.
Is the Food Crisis Over or Just Getting Started? – International Man Are you hungry? Good, according to the central planners. The folks over at the UN stopped destroying the world for a brief few minutes to publish a piece (snapshot below) justifying their behavior and explaining the “benefits” of the famine they’ve engineered. Not making this up.
Food Shortages PLANNED Does your gut say food shortages are planned? Mine too. Over the past few months, the United States has suffered an ALLEGED “food shortage” of Baby Formula, with stores being told that food plant shut downs were the cause of baby food shortages.

The rations are becoming clear and present worldwide as the globalists destroy the supply chain and grid.
New Study: 1 in 100 Teens Developed Heart Inflammation after 2x Pfizer Injection Dr. Koka finds it very troubling that heart damage in young, healthy children is dismissed as ‘mild.’ In Thailand, research on 13 to 18-year-olds has been conducted into the number of cases, among other things, of myocardial injury after receiving the Covid vaccination. Unfortunately, the results are not reassuring, explains cardiologist Anisha Koka.
“What the hell’s the matter with us?” Biden demanded to know. Good question!
Yesterday, Joe Biden took a taxpayer-funded trip to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where he was supposed to unify Americans behind a “Safer America” agenda to support law enforcement and reduce crime. It was meant to be a layup speech for his Thursday night address about saving democracy and promoting Unity™. Instead, an angry old man divided Americans with an unhinged, hateful, and at times downright threatening message condemning his political opponents. Taxpayers should demand a refund for that disgraceful and decidedly unpresidential demagoguery.
In the last few days Biden has declared: “I respect conservative Republicans. I don’t respect these MAGA Republicans.” He referred to Republican policies as “semi-fascism.” Yesterday was no better.
Let’s start with his implied threats to American citizens.
For those brave, right-wing Americans who say it’s all about keeping America — keeping America as independent and safe: If you want to fight against a country, you need an F-15. You need something a little more than a gun.
Biden has made this veiled threat more than once before by way of “proving” his argument that banning AR-15s won’t really infringe on Liberty. Last time, he added “and maybe some nuclear weapons” while butchering Thomas Jefferson’s remarks about the tree of Liberty.
Well, that’s just the point. The reason the Second Amendment recognizes the God-given right to keep and bear arms is to provide a check on government tyranny. That’s why Americans own an estimated 20 million AR-15s. To say it’s a bad look for the president of the United States to practically threaten millions of U.S. citizens over this right would be the understatement of the century.
As political analyst Margot Cleveland quipped, “So, ‘Safer America’ means, …checks notes: A government threatening its citizens with F-15s.”
It’s beyond ironic that Biden made these remarks on the one-year anniversary of his surrender of Afghanistan, in which he armed the victorious Taliban with billions of dollars in abandoned U.S. military equipment.
Let’s move on to his factual blunders and outright lies.
We’re living in a country awash with weapons of war, weapons that weren’t designed to hunt — were designed to take on an enemy. There — that’s what they’re designed to do. For God’s sake, what’s the rationale for these weapons outside of a war zone? They inflict severe damage.
When I was recently in Uvalde — I almost hesitate to say this, with some of the kids in here — you know what some of the parents had to do? Supply DNA. Supply DNA. Because AR-15s just rips the body apart. Could not identify — could not identify the body. And a 20-year-old kid can walk in and buy one? DNA to say, “That’s my baby.” What the hell is the matter with us? …
Do you realize the bullet out of an AR-15 travels five times as rapidly as a bullet shot out of any other gun, five times — is lighter — and can pierce Kevlar?
Fact-check: False. Misleading. Missing context.
As stated above, the Second Amendment doesn’t protect only hunting rifles, Joe. Damage from gunshot wounds depends far more on the ammunition used than the velocity of the rounds, and AR-15s are not uniquely dreadful on either count. Whether bullets can “pierce Kevlar” is determined by the level of protection offered by that Kevlar. Thicker plating can indeed stop 5.56 rounds fired from an AR-15.
Given the foolish advice about shotguns and the whoppers Biden tells regarding gunshot wounds and the like, he’d do well to stop relying on Hollywood for his information on guns and armor.
We have to act for all those kids gunned down on our streets every single day that never make the news. There’s a mass shooting every single day in this country in the streets of America — every single day.
Most “kids” gunned down in the streets are members of gangs in Democrat-run inner cities, and the definition of “mass shooting” depends less on commonly understood terms than on the immediate rhetorical needs of Democrats and their propagandists in the press.
Now for his plan to ban “assault weapons.”
My plan also takes commonsense action to reduce gun violence and violence overall. It builds on the progress we made this summer when I signed into law the bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the most significant gun safety law we passed in 30 years. It took 30 years.
And we beat the NRA. We took them on, and we beat the NRA straight up. You have no idea how intimidating they are to elected officials. The NRA was against it, which means the vast majority — the vast majority of Republicans in Congress couldn’t even stand up and vote for it because they’re afraid of the NRA. …
We took on the NRA, and we’re going to take them on again. And we won. And we will win again. But we’re not stopping here. I’m determined to ban assault weapons in this country.
The NRA spends less money on lobbying than do anti-gun zealots on the Left. And the reason Republicans tend to line up with the NRA isn’t because they’re scared; it’s because — we know this may be hard for Biden to understand — both Republicans and the NRA value the U.S. Constitution and the fundamental rights it recognizes.
Amidst all the attacks on Republicans, Biden did offer one significant, albeit veiled, rebuke of his own side:
You know, I call it the Safer America Plan, and … it’s based on a simple notion: When it comes to public safety in this nation, the answer is not “defund the police,” it’s “fund the police.” Fund the police.
“Defund the police” is a movement exclusive to the radical leftists who control the Democrat Party. It’s part of an insane, race-baiting backlash against cops after a handful of belligerent black thugs were killed by police. And that Democrat-led backlash unleashed a deadly crime wave across the country over the last couple of years. It’s swell of Biden to take the other side now, but he ought to explicitly acknowledge which side created the problem.
Finally, there was the anti-MAGA business, in which Biden predictably dredged up the January 6 Capitol riot, including implying some gross falsehoods about it.
Let me say this to my MAGA Republican friends in Congress: Don’t tell me you support law enforcement if you won’t condemn what happened on the 6th. … For God’s sake, whose side are you on? …
Look, you’re either on the side of a mob or the side of the police. You can’t be pro-law enforcement and pro-insurrection. You can’t be a party of law and order and call the people who attacked the police on January 6th “patriots.”
First of all, enough with all the Insurrection™ nonsense. That said, people who attack police — whether during the Capitol riot, the countless Democrat-supported “Black Lives Matter” riots all over the country, or in individual circumstances — deserve to be locked up. Enough with the Democrat double standard.
Later, Biden relayed one of his famous anecdotes about how other national leaders had welcomed his presidency.
And one of them said to me, “Imagine, Joe, if you turned on the television in Washington, DC, and saw a mob of a thousand people storming down the hallways of the parliament, breaking down the doors trying to overturn an outcome of election and killing several police officers in the meantime. Imagine. Imagine what you’d think.”
Think about what the world saw. Not what we saw — what the world saw. Did you ever think, in the United States, that would happen?
If the Leftmedia “fact-checkers” weren’t so busy lying about January 6 themselves, they’d bust Biden for this egregious lie. No police officers were killed in the Capitol riot. Officer Brian Sicknick, whose casket Democrats disgracefully used as a podium for their cynical Insurrection™ charade, died the next day of unrelated causes — not, as Democrats and the media insist, from being struck in the head by a rioter wielding a fire extinguisher.
No, Joe, the only person killed on January 6 was an unarmed Trump supporter named Ashley Babbitt, who was shot in the neck by Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd.
Biden moved on to defend the FBI and law enforcement more generally.
It’s sickening to see the new attacks on the FBI, threatening the life of law enforcement agents and their families for simply carrying out the law and doing their job.
Look, I want to say this as clear as I can: There is no place in this country — no place for endangering the lives of law enforcement. No place.
Again, though there are always unhinged folks on the fringes of any political movement, it is primarily thugs in Democrat-run urban centers who kill police officers.
But it’s worth noting that Biden likely feels a particular affinity for the FBI because without it he would not be president today. Having learned all the wrong lessons from Hillary Clinton’s email fiasco, the FBI led the cover-up of Joe Biden’s pay-to-play corruption involving his son Hunter’s business dealings. By falsely smearing Hunter’s laptop as “Russian disinformation,” the FBI even gave Big Tech all the cover needed to suppress stories about it before the 2020 election. Had voters known that the Bidens presented a corrupt national security threat, it’s unlikely that Basement Joe would be in the Oval Office.
The Associated Press found it curious that Biden would defend the FBI, though its scribes mentioned only that “his son Hunter faces a federal investigation for tax evasion.” For good measure, they add, “He has not faced any charges, and he’s previously denied wrongdoing.” Well that’s a relief!
Joe Biden began his presidency with an Inaugural Address about Unity™. “To make progress, we have to stop treating our opponents as our enemies,” he said then. “They are not our enemies, they are Americans.” We didn’t believe him then, given that he’s a man who has spent his entire half-century career in Washington sanctimoniously berating his opponents and critics and who had just won the election by fomenting division and hatred all over the country. Nineteen months into his first and only term (29 long months to go), his divisive anger and repeated “F-15s” threats continue to prove our skepticism to be well deserved.
With the death of the Soviet Union’s last president, our mainstream media tries to rewrite Cold War history.
“Last Soviet leader Gorbachev, who ended Cold War and won Nobel prize, dies aged 91.”
So went the headline of this Reuters obituary, which attempts to rewrite the end of the Cold War as having been unilaterally envisioned and brought about by former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev.
Ronald Reagan couldn’t be reached for comment. Nor could Margaret Thatcher, nor Pope John Paul II.
We know what you’re thinking: That’s only the headline. No doubt the article makes up for the omission of Reagan by duly noting Gorbachev’s indispensable Cold War counterpart in the body copy, right? Surely it mentions the five summit meetings held by the two men from 1985 to 1988 — first in Geneva, then in Reykjavik, then in Washington, then in Moscow, and finally in New York City, right? Surely it mentions Reagan’s world-historic 1987 speech in front of the Brandenburg Gate in West Germany — the one where he bucked his senior advisers and electrified the Eastern Bloc by calling on Gorbachev to “tear down this wall,” right?
Wrong. There are 817 words in the Reuters article, apparently written by some hack named David Ljunggren, and the words “Ronald Reagan” aren’t anywhere among them. Nor is there any mention of the British prime minister known as The Iron Lady nor the pope known as Joannes Paulus Magnus.
Sadly, though, the Reuters outrage isn’t an outlier. This article from the Associated Press also fails to mention Reagan — although at least it does so in the caption of a photo of Gorbachev and Reagan that accompanies the article.
Such is the urge among leftists to whitewash — indeed, to bury — the legacy of a great American president and one of the most consequential figures of the 20th century. Heck, not even Soviet cold warriors like Anatoly Dobrynin believe what the American Left has long been peddling about Reagan. Dobrynin was the Soviet Union’s ambassador to the U.S. for a span of six U.S. presidents, but his memoir, In Confidence, gives due credit to our nation’s 40th president in chapters titled “Reagan: The Thaw” and “Reagan and Ending the Cold War.”
If communism was The God That Failed, then Reagan and Gorbachev were the tribunes of that failure — Reagan as captured over decades of his writings as an anticommunist, and Gorbachev as the first Soviet leader who seemed ready to acknowledge the inevitable.
What made Gorbachev so receptive to change, so different than, say, Chernenko or Andropov or Brezhnev or Khrushchev or Stalin or Lenin? Historian Paul Kengor offers this remarkable anecdote:
When Reagan first met Gorbachev at Geneva in November 1985, he was immediately taken by Gorbachev’s religious references, which were plainly remarkable coming from the leader of what Reagan rightly called an “Evil Empire.” Reagan became deeply intrigued at the possibility that Gorbachev might be (in Reagan’s words) a “closet Christian.”
When he arrived home from Geneva, Reagan immediately called Michael Deaver. He said of the new current leader of Lenin’s and Stalin’s atheistic state: “He believes.” An incredulous Deaver responded to his president and longtime friend: “Are you saying the general secretary of the Soviet Union believes in God?” Reagan walked his statement back, but only a tiny bit: “I don’t know, Mike, but I honestly think he believes in a higher power.”
Gorbachev proceeded to suggest that with his stunning overtures on behalf of religious freedom, rolling back his predecessors’ brutal “wholesale war on religion,” as Gorbachev described it. “Atheism took rather savage forms in our country,” he lamented.
Reagan’s role in the collapse of the Soviet Union is undeniable, but there are still plenty of dead-enders out there, both in the media and the academy — those who say Soviet communism was bound to collapse in the late 1980s regardless of whether Reagan or some schlub was in the White House. Remember: Those on the Left hated Reagan with a passion, and they viewed him as a simpleton. One of those elitists even called him “an amiable dunce.”
Reagan, of course, was anything but, and the vast body of his writings, many of which were made public only after his passing on June 5, 2004, make mincemeat out of such lazy characterizations. Reagan was a visionary. Which prompts a question: In all of recorded history, has there ever been a more wrongheaded and idiotic assessment of a man than the one uttered by Clark Clifford?
In conclusion, we might remember an old Soviet joke in which an exasperated dissident confesses, “In the Soviet Union, we know what the future holds. It’s the past that’s always changing.”
Clearly, the same can be said for our hard-left, history-denying mainstream media.
Afghanistan one year later, Garland seeks to intimidate FBI whistleblowers, just 9% of law professors are conservative, and more.
Thomas Gallatin & Jordan Candler
Afghanistan one year later: “Not one senior Biden Administration official nor military officer has resigned or been fired as a result of the withdrawal. That is a disgrace to our country,” Army National Guard colonel and Representative Mike Waltz (R-FL) stated on Tuesday, the one-year anniversary of the day the last American troops left Afghanistan. Waltz added, “Because of their actions, or lack thereof, the fallout of this debacle has irreparably harmed both our national security and global image.” Now a year after Joe Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal and surrender to the Taliban, the situation for Afghanis has gotten predictably bad under the rule of these jihadis. Women specifically have seen nearly all of the advances and freedoms they enjoyed for the last two decades of U.S. control effectively eliminated. Furthermore, Afghanistan has once again become a haven for al-Qaida and ISIS terrorists as they arm up with the billions of dollars of U.S. military equipment left behind. Then there were the American citizens and thousands of Afghan allies that Biden abandoned to the mercy of the Taliban. “A GOP majority must carry out public investigations in a manner that has broad jurisdictional oversight and subpoena power over the Department of State, Department of Defense, and Intelligence Community,” Waltz asserted. “We owe it to the thirteen Gold Star families … the veterans who served in Afghanistan, and to the thousands of allies we abandoned.”
On this date last year — Biden’s surrender and retreat from Afghanistan: We are reposting, in chronological order, analysis of events a year ago related to the most disgraceful military exfil in American history — Biden’s deadly surrender and retreat from Afghanistan. This day last year, Mark Alexander covered “Biden’s AFG Retreat Complete — The War Is NOT Over.” Biden may have declared an end of hostilities in Afghanistan, but he launched a new era of hostilities toward America.
AG Garland seeks to intimidate FBI whistleblowers: On Tuesday, Attorney General Merrick Garland issued a new policy to Justice Department personnel forbidding them from communicating with “Senators, Representatives, congressional committees, or congressional staff without advance coordination, consultation, and approval” by the Office of Legislative Affairs. Garland claimed his motive for issuing the new policy directives was to prevent the DOJ’s actions from having “the appearance of political influence.” While that does sound good on paper, the proof is in the pudding. The range of targets for the Garland-led DOJ too often smacks of blatant political bias, a fact borne out by a growing number of FBI whistleblowers making claims of political bias among leadership in the agency. Garland’s directive appears to be designed to tamp down on more potential whistleblowers contacting members of Congress, even as he seeks to claim otherwise. Garland has repeatedly demonstrated that honesty is not his forte.
Just 9% of law professors are conservative: A new study conducted by professors from Georgetown University and MIT that sought to investigate the views of law professors in schools across the nation found that just 9.1% of 667 professors who participated identified as conservative compared to 77.9% who identified as liberal. The findings appear to reinforce a 2017 study’s conclusion that only 15% of law professors were conservative. According to George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, the primary reason the vast majority of law professors lean to the left has everything to do with universities in general going left. “For decades, faculties have gradually reduced the number of conservatives and libertarians through attrition and hiring practices,” Turley observed. “Once these faculties hit an ideological critical mass, faculties have served to replicate their ideological views.” And now these schools have become so biased that they have effectively become leftist echo chambers of “intolerance and recrimination” against any perspectives outside their own ideological views.

Leftists have convinced many women that their rights are being threatened by the Dobbs decision.
Political pundit Ben Shapiro said on his Monday podcast that Republicans are balancing on a knife’s edge. The anticipated red wave may not happen due to two particular events, and these events largely speak to women voters. First and foremost was the Dobbs decision and the overturning of Roe v. Wade. The second instance was the Mar-a-Lago raid.
TargetSmart CEO Tom Bonier commented in a social media post: “We are seeing early signs of what could lead to a huge increase in women voting in November. … This surge is young and female.” And according to Slate’s Dahlia Lithwick, these young women are angry.
On the issue of abortion, some women — clearly forgetting that Democrats hold the majority in the House and Senate — are angry because they have been told that an essential right has been taken away from them by men in power. As our Thomas Gallatin pointed out: “Truth, even the most objective truth, is not universally accepted, and thus the issue of abortion, even what it actually is, is far from universally understood. Much of the reason why abortion is still such a controversial issue is because it has long been erroneously characterized by abortion advocates as a ‘women’s health’ issue and politicized as such by Democrat politicians.” As a result, women — totally disregarding the unborn child or the man who helped conceive said child — are inclined to think that men should have no say on this issue since it is their health that is up for debate.
Instead of being affirmed in the fact that children are blessings from the Lord, these angry women have been told that they will now be victimized again by being “forced to give birth” to children they either didn’t want or who were conceived in horrible circumstances such as rape or incest. They are angry because easy abortion access meant that they could settle for the free love culture — a lifestyle that is of no benefit to women who thrive off loving, committed relationships. They are angry because, though they may have never considered abortion for themselves, their friends should have the right to choose.
The Mar-a-Lago raid could turn this election into another referendum on Donald Trump instead of on Joe Biden and the crazy radical leftists who are dragging our country into the pits. Even while in office, Trump was not a popular figure among the average suburban housewife. The tension between the Right and the Left raised dramatically under his presidency — though this was likely due more to Trump pointing out how crazy the progressives are and the media losing its collective mind as a result. Women have been told by no less an authority than former President Bill Clinton that “one thing [Trump] does know is how to get angry white men to vote for him.” And angry white men are the greatest threat to democracy … at least that’s what MSNBC and CNN have told them.
Many of these angry women voters have been allowed and even encouraged to let their feelings run away with them. It is only to the benefit of the radicals that these women’s outrage is fueled. If they are too emotional and angry, they are more easily manipulated, more easily lied to, and their ability to think logically is severely impaired. (This is not strictly a women’s problem, but as more emotional creatures, women are certainly more susceptible.) This tendency to let our emotions get out of control is what has led to the insane celebration parallax — anything my opponent thinks is bad I now think is good regardless of what the truth is.
Conservative columnist Dennis Prager recently wrote:
Raising good men was the most important thing society could do. If it doesn’t, the male propensity to physical aggression and predatory sexual behavior will wreak havoc. Therefore, raising boys to control their natures is fundamental to society avoiding chaos. Over the course of a lifetime, however, I have come to realize that while society was right about males, it was wrong about females. Whether spoken or unspoken, most people thought that girls just didn’t need to be raised to control their natures nearly as much as boys did. But they do. It’s true that females are not inclined to violence or predatory sexual behavior as men are. But this hardly means that girls and women don’t have to learn to control their natures. On the contrary, as I have been telling parents for many years now, they need to teach their daughters to control their natures just as much as they teach their sons to do so. Specifically, girls have to learn to control their emotions.
He is absolutely correct. His thinking is also biblically grounded. The Bible has very clear warnings about the dangers of excess emotion. Here are some examples:
“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.” —James 1:19-20
“Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.” —Proverbs 29:11
“But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.” —Colossians 3:8
There are many other references to the necessity of controlling our emotions, but it all amounts to the same basic thing: The lack of emotional control leads to foolish and ungodly behavior. These are good words to live by and canny advice, but the Left in general and young women in particular have been encouraged to ignore this ancient wisdom.
Pointing out this truth is not enough. When a person is angry, he or she cannot listen. It is essential to figure out a way to diffuse that anger; otherwise it’s going to be an ugly midterm election.
Republicans in several states are working to file lawsuits, but the political trap has been set.
Americans who work for a living and pride themselves on paying off the college debts they incurred — that is, if they went to college at all — were understandably up in arms last week when Joe Biden announced an income-based partial loan forgiveness program to take effect later this year. On the other hand, those carrying student loans, including those who have had the opportunity to take a break from making payments since early 2020 because of the COVID pandemic “pause,” were understandably thrilled with the news. That’s the group Joe Biden and the Democrats are hoping will repay them by showing up at the ballot box in November and in 2024 to save the Democrats from a well-deserved thrashing.
And while it’s true that not all Democrats are fully on board with this proposal for various reasons — critics allegedly included Jill Biden and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, and Joe Biden was reluctant at first — he apparently decided it was better to ask for, ahem, forgiveness than permission. Besides, the Democrats can make it appear like they’re looking out for the working people with no political cost because the chances that Congress is going to tell Biden not to do this are slim and none — and Slim just left town.
A statement by Ohio Representative Tim Ryan, who is running for the state’s open Senate seat, is typical of this attitude. “While there’s no doubt that a college education should be about opening opportunities,” said Ryan, “waiving debt for those already on a trajectory to financial security sends the wrong message to the millions of Ohioans without a degree working just as hard to make ends meet.”
It sends a wrong message to everyone, but surely Ryan knows that even if a handful of Democrats decided to buck their party, any bill to repeal the handout goes nowhere in Congress thanks to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who famously said last year that Biden had no such authority, won’t lift a finger to stop it either. Even if Republicans succeed this fall despite the windfall handed to millions of potential Democrat voters, they won’t have enough members in the next Congress to override a sure Biden veto. Therefore, populist-sounding Democrats will remain safe in their rhetoric.
With Congress at a stalemate for the foreseeable future insofar as the repeal of this student loan forgiveness goes, conservative groups and state attorneys general are contemplating the judicial route to striking down this executive overreach. However, they have two key issues with doing so, one being the leftist-fed perception of Republicans being the Grinch who stole Christmas. While GOPers are used to being portrayed as the ones who would push Grandma off the cliff, it’s worth noting that any of their criticism of the forgiveness program will likely run afoul of and be buried by the “fact-checkers” who have infested social media.
Moreover, to address a point of criticism by centrist Democrats that borrowers would be left in limbo by the courts, it’s a sure bet this program was timed to come to life just in time for the election so that any Republican judge putting a halt to it would grab headlines and drive Democrat turnout.
The second, more pressing issue is that of who could have standing in the case. As one answer, the Washington Examiner revealed, “Based on advice from his legal counsel, Job Creators Network CEO Alfredo Ortiz told the Examiner he believes ‘we have found already a handful of plaintiffs that would qualify for and pass the standing test,’ though he did not provide examples due to the early stages of litigation planning.”
Once the standing issue is resolved, though, there are more challenges. Lefty political analyst Mark Joseph Stern explains how the trap has been set:
To understand where this is going in the courts as well as the likely workaround, recall a basic fact that many critics of Biden’s program do not appear to understand: The federal government forgives student loans all the time. Multiple statutes give the Department of Education sweeping authority to cancel loans for a broad range of reasons. Before [last week], the administration had already approved $32 billion in student loan relief for more than 1.6 million borrowers. These actions did not provoke substantial controversy or litigation. Nobody raised a legal challenge when Biden canceled $5.8 billion in student loans for more than 323,000 disabled borrowers. Nobody raised a legal challenge when Biden announced rolling loan forgiveness for borrowers who entered public service — a plan that has already granted $10 billion in debt relief to more than 175,000 borrowers.
Stern goes on to cite a statute called the Heroes Act, which was passed in 2003 and states that the secretary of education has the ability to “waive or modify” provisions of student aid programs in connection with a war, military operation, or national emergency. Do you see now why we have been hanging around in a perpetual “state of emergency” over COVID?
It’s the Rahm Emanuel maxim: “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” There was little chance a student loan forgiveness program of this size and scope would make it through Congress, so it was “stroke of a pen, law of the land” time for Joe Biden.
The question for this November is whether there are more people addled by the thought of being free of their college debt or more working Americans angry about the government giving yet another break to a favored constituency. We all know the Left’s end game for this is a “free college” perpetual indoctrination, courtesy of the working people of America. Joe Biden has made his move, so the best counter is to build up his opposition.
COVID pandemic aid has served to encourage a growing culture of laziness within the country.
One of the many areas of fallout from the federal government’s over-response to the COVID pandemic has been a growing culture of laziness. Not only did the government shut down millions of Americans’ ability to work, but lawmakers across both sides of the political divide initially justified the action and supported spending trillions of dollars in COVID relief for people they forced not to work.
As is always the case, there are consequences for Big Government’s actions, and the negative consequences are often more far-reaching and insidious than the actual problem lawmakers were seeking to “solve” in the first place.
It’s not shocking at all that throwing money at people disincentivizes an eagerness to work. In the early days of the pandemic, the U.S. labor participation rate fell significantly, like much of the world. However, unlike much of the developed world, the U.S. labor rate has not returned to pre-pandemic levels. Europe, Canada, and Japan have all rebounded and then some, while the U.S. is still mired at nearly a million fewer workers than before the pandemic.
What has allowed for this lack of return of workers has much to do with the government turning on the welfare spigot and never really turning it off. And it’s not as if the jobs aren’t there — the ratio of job openings to unemployment is near record highs. Employers are constantly complaining of being unable to find workers for the job openings they have.
However, more insidious still has been the growth of a fringe youth anti-work movement. In several online forums, people are celebrated for quitting their jobs, or, worse, yet they are lionized for being “idlers” or “quiet quitters” — individuals who stay on a job doing the absolute least amount of work possible just to collect a paycheck. Laziness is literally being celebrated as virtuous. And this “virtuous” element comes from that old nemesis of American freedom and industriousness: the Marxist-loving anti-capitalism movement. Proponents are undermining the American economic system by encouraging slothfulness and spurring the grievance culture. These folks push the false claim that capitalism is exploitation and therefore stealing from your employer in the form of laziness and inefficiency is virtuous.
Unfortunately, politicians play right into this game, willingly throwing taxpayer money at nearly every problem and then patting themselves on the back for having “done” something to help. In the end, all they’ve done is take more away from the hard-working and given it to the non-working.
“Since the U.S. fully withdrew from Afghanistan a year ago, Americans are still left behind terrorist lines, our allies are being hunted, the Taliban have rearmed themselves with billions of dollars worth of U.S. military equipment, Al Qaeda & ISIS have reconstituted their ranks as foreign fighters flow into the country, Afghan women and girls have seen their rights stripped away, and famine has inflicted the country. Despite all this, not one senior Biden Administration official nor military officer has resigned or been fired as a result of the withdrawal. That is a disgrace to our country.” —Congressman Mike Waltz
“I have come to realize that while society was right about males, it was wrong about females. … Specifically, girls have to learn to control their emotions. Just as the male sexual drive and violent impulses can overwhelm their conscience and their ability to think and act rationally, emotions can do the same thing in girls and women: overwhelm their conscience and their ability to think and act rationally. However, it should be obvious that at least two generations of parents — especially among the well-educated — did not teach many of their daughters to control their emotions and think rationally. The result is that women are disproportionately active in doing damage to our society.” —Dennis Prager
“As high as the monetary costs of college are, the hidden cost of ‘forgiving’ student loans is much higher. Colleges and universities claim to have as part of their purpose producing responsible, accountable, contributing citizens who are able to think critically and help improve the quality of life in their communities. Allowing students to take irresponsible loans they cannot pay back to pay for WOKE degrees that have no value and then failing to hold them accountable turns college graduates into dependent wards of the state who expect the government to take care of them. Further, worthless WOKE degrees like Fat Studies, Queer Studies and Women’s Studies — to name just a few — exist only because the federal government keeps them alive through student loans. These kinds of programs would die tomorrow if not for student loans.” —Oliver North & David Goetsch

Several members of the House of Representatives filed articles of impeachment on Tuesday declaring that Joe Biden’s conduct “warrants impeachment and trial, removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.”
Those House members feel that there are plenty of reasons why the current occupant of the Oval Office should be impeached, including:
The lack of border enforcement that has let millions of illegals, including many criminals, into the U.S.;
The handling of the coronavirus pandemic;
The dreadfully mismanaged and damaging withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan;
The unilateral and illegal cancellation of student loan debts;
The eviction moratorium prohibiting property owners from evicting renters who violate their leases by not paying rent; and
The “Hunter Biden issue” that the mainstream media continue to ignore.
Said Rep. Bob Good (R-Va.):
I have consistently said President Biden should be impeached for intentionally opening our border and making Americans less safe.
Congress has a duty to hold the President accountable for this and any other failures of his Constitutional responsibilities, so a new Republican majority must be prepared to aggressively conduct oversight on day one.
Previous articles of impeachment, including one filed by conservative firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) the day after Biden was sworn into office, addressed most of these.
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) thinks Biden isn’t the only legitimate target for impeachment:
Mayorkas and Garland have purposefully made our country less safe, politicized their departments, and violated the rule of law. In some instances, they have instructed their subordinates to disobey our laws. That is unacceptable.
Next January I expect the House to pursue my impeachment articles against Mayorkas as well as Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s impeachment articles that I co-sponsored against Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Steve Bannon, Donald Trump’s former advisor, expressed his confidence in January 2022 that Republicans would impeach Biden once they took control of the House starting next January:
You have stood down ICE and you’ve stood down Border Patrol, and guess what? That’s the impeachment hearing I want to hear!
You’re going to sit there for day after day and week after week and we’re going to bring the witnesses. We’re going to bring the witnesses of what you did to this country and what you did on the southern border….
This November is about one thing: it’s about impeaching Joe Biden to stop this madness and to stop this illegitimate regime from destroying our nation.
Under the Constitution, only the House can consider impeachment charges, and the Senate has the power to try any impeachments passed by the House. Article I, Section 3, Clauses 6-7 make it clear that
No person shall be convicted without the concurrence of two-thirds of the [Senate] Members present … and shall not extend further than to removal from office.
The pending “red wave” expected in November won’t be sufficient to give Republicans anywhere close to that two-thirds vote required to remove Biden. But if the House does make impeaching the present occupant a priority, it will further enlighten an already-awakening body politic as to the gross violations the present administration has committed and permitted, and set the stage for the presidential election in 2024.
A group of independent Christians from around the world issued a statement against globalist totalitarian schemes. The new statement called the Frankfurt Declaration includes leading signers like Dr. Voddie Baucham, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Tom Buck, Dr. James White and other leading pastors. The signers lean heavily Reformed but there are non-Reformed signers.
The website is available here; however, it was returning 502 and 503 errors since about 11 p.m. central last night. The website troubles likely come from the heavy load of people attempting to read the declaration that outlines how Christians can and should limit state power.
The opening of the statement reads: “Christians, Against the Abuse of Power”
“In the course of human events, it sometimes becomes necessary for people of good faith to speak out against the abuse of power. This should be done only after serious and prayerful deliberation, and even then, in an attitude of humility and with respect for the authorities that have been established by God. Such protest should be expressed in the hope that civil authorities who are found to be eroding rights and liberties may yet fulfill their God-given responsibility as their rightful guardians.”
Pastor Tobias Riemenschneider is one of the framers of the Frankfurt Declaration and appeared on The Dividing Line to debut the statement—in what appears to be the first reporting of this new statement. Riemenschneider is an evangelical pastor in Germany and the experience of conservative evangelical churches during Covid helped prompt this statement.
“In December 2021, basically every politician wanted to introduce a vaccine mandate for everyone,” Riemenschneider said. Riemenschneider and other Christians issued two statements in 2021 providing guidance to evangelical Christians about these state actions. “Now we are doing the next thing.”
That next thing is the Frankfurt Declaration. The process of putting this statement together began in March 2021 when Riemenschneider “was approached by a brother from the UK.” It was hoped that pastors from around the globe could produce a “full response as to what happened during Covid.” The initial group included pastors from Canada, Europe, and Africa, Riemenschneider said on the Dividing Line. However, the group could not reach a consensus so a smaller group still representing pastors from around the globe continued work and released this document.
For more info you can watch the discussion on the Dividing Line.
One of the concerns I had about having a Democrat take over the government was that Christian doctors and nurses would be forced to perform abortions against their will. Although Hobby Lobby was able to win at the Supreme Court, and escape the abortion drug mandate, there was more in Obamacare to fear.
