Socialist Lula da Silva allegedly defeated Jair Bolsonaro in the election Sunday. On Tuesday morning, Joe Hoft of The Gateway Pundit reported that Brazil is the latest country to have their election stolen using the “Drop and Roll” method of electoral fraud.
The election in Brazil is very similar to the 2020 Presidential Election in the US. Like President Trump in 2020, the conservative candidate Bolsonaro’s party picked up numerous lower house seats and governorships across the country. It was a conservative wave, with the exception of the presidential race.
Brazil relies entirely on voting machines for its elections.
Steve Bannon interviewed Mathew Tyrmand on the Brazil election yesterday. During their discussion, Tyrmand noted the following:
- Bolsonaro’s party dominated the election and with the other conservative parties, and they will dominate the lower House in Brazil.
- Bolsonaro was winning the election up to a certain point and then every ballot drop was won by the socialist candidate. “The math doesn’t make sense at all.” Mathew Tyrmand shared.
- The Mainstream Media immediately called the election for the socialist.
- When speaking about events before the election Thyrmand noted, “There’s been no transparency. There’s been censorship. There have been arrests of opposition. There’s been penalization from the court to Bolsonaro’s party.”
On Monday, Youtube announced that it will now censor and remove any videos claiming fraud in the election results in Brazil.
“With the presidential election results validated by the TSE, we are updating our Electoral Integrity Policy and will begin to remove content that violates our policy,” Youtube wrote.
“On YouTube, we don’t allow certain types of deceptive content that can cause serious harm. This includes certain types of misinformation that can cause real harm. For example, some types of technically manipulated content and content that interferes with democratic processes,” the company wrote on its support page.
These policies prohibit certain types of content related to free and fair democratic elections. Please do not post election-related content on YouTube that fits any of the descriptions below.
Voter Suppression : Content that is intended to provide incorrect information about the time, location, means or eligibility requirements for voting, or content with false claims that may discourage participation.
Candidate Qualification : Videos that propagate false statements about the technical qualification requirements of political candidates and elected government officials to hold public office. Eligibility requirements considered are based on applicable national law and include age, citizenship and health status.
Inciting the public to interfere in democratic processes : Content that encourages others to interfere in democratic processes. This includes obstructing or interrupting the electoral process.
Distribution of material stolen by hackers : content with stolen information, which, if disclosed, could interfere with democratic processes.
Election Integrity : Content with false claims that fraud, errors, or widespread technical issues have occurred in certain past elections to determine heads of government. Or content that claims the certified results of these elections are fake. This policy currently applies to:
- any US presidential election;
- 2021 German Federal Elections;
- Brazilian presidential elections of 2014, 2018 and 2022.
Matthew Tyrmand said during his interview with Steve Bannon that Jair Bolsonaro will deliver remarks tonight. According to Tyrmand, his contacts are telling him Bolsonaro may invoke the Constitution to demand the military hold an audit of the impossible results.
Bolsonaro may also jail the radical leftist court justices who made it a crime for populist party to campaign effectively.

He that believeth shall not make haste.Isaiah 28:16
He shall make haste to keep the Lord’s commandments; but he shall not make haste in any impatient or improper sense.
He shall not haste to run away, for he shall not be overcome with the fear which causes panic. When others are flying hither and thither as if their wits had failed them, the believer shall be quiet, calm, and deliberate, and so shall be able to act wisely in the hour of trial.
He shall not haste in his expectations, craving his good things at once and on the spot, but he will wait God’s time. Some are in a desperate hurry to have the bird in the hand, for they regard the Lord’s promise as a bird in the bush, not likely to be theirs. Believers know how to wait..
He shall not haste by plunging into wrong or questionable action. Unbelief must be doing something, and thus it works its own undoing; but faith makes no more haste than good speed, and thus it is not forced to go back sorrowfully by the way which it followed heedlessly.
How is it with me? Am I believing, and am I therefore keeping to the believer’s pace, which is walking with God? Peace, fluttering spirit! Oh, rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him! Heart, see that thou do this at once!Know How to Wait — VCY America

From church website:
We subscribe to the Westminster Standards as our doctrinal statement. It consists of the following documents:
The Westminster Confession of Faith
The Westminster Larger Catechism
The Westminster Shorter Catechism
We also believe that Christian Worship is to be regulated and defined by God’s Word, the Bible.
Our worship services are designed to please and honor the Triune God of the Bible. We place Scripture reading and the preaching of the word of God at the center of worship along with Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. These are God’s gifts to His church and ought to always be at the center of Christian worship. We are a congregation that loves to sing God’s praises, recite His Word back to Him, and actively engage in hearing and learning from God’s Word.
We embrace and promote a comprehensive Christian world and life view.
There is no area of life which is not under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is to God and His law which all people, including governments and civil rulers, will answer. The Word of God embraces and informs the way we view marriage, the family, children, education, politics, worship, law, government, war, the church, missions, evangelism, and worship. In the world today there is a battle of opposing worldviews. There are basically only two positions: God’s Word and man’s ideas. We stand positively for Biblical truth and negatively against man’s ideas which are opposed to Biblical truth.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for mankind.
Because all men fall short of obeying God’s law, all men everywhere are in need of divine grace and salvation from God. This salvation is found only in the Lord Jesus Christ who died for sinners, was buried, rose again, and is alive today seated at God the Father’s right hand.
We Worship God Together as Families.
We offer nursery during morning worship service for newborns and infants but encourage people to keep as many of their children as they can with them for morning worship. The audio of the service is in the nursery via speakers. There is also a crying room with a video screen and audio of the sermon. We offer Sunday school classes for all ages but worship together as families. We do not offer “children’s” church. Children need to be in morning worship as soon as possible so they can learn how to participate as active worshipers of God which includes the singing of His praises and listening actively to sermons.

“The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
Thoughts on today’s verse
So God likes to sing too! He even likes to share his lullabies with those he loves. Not only is God Abba Father, he is also like a mother. He gently rocks and quiets his children with his affectionate care.
O God, I pray that when the storms of life rage against me, I will remember these words and find refuge, comfort and peace in your sheltering care. Make me aware, O God, of your singing in my life as you make your salvation more clear to me each day. Through my Savior Jesus I pray. Amen

Something Unknown Seems to Blast Earth With Radiation Every Thousand Years or So
Solar flares were once thought to be responsible for historical spikes in the Earth’s radiation levels. But a new study suggests that those spikes of radiation may not be caused by solar flares as once believed, seemingly meaning that something much more powerful — and still unknown to us — may have been responsible instead. “There’s a kind of extreme astrophysical phenomenon that we don’t understand and it actually could be a threat to us,” Benjamin Pope, coauthor of the study and astrophysicist at the University of Queensland, told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Twitter Bans Conservatives, Including Heritage Foundation Expert, One Week Before Midterm Elections
Twitter suspended conservative accounts just over one week before the midterm elections, including the account of a Heritage Foundation scholar and the leader of a conservative nonprofit. Jake Denton, a research associate at Heritage’s Tech Policy Center, found himself suspended on Twitter at 11:10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, 10 days before the 2022 midterm elections. “Since the election of Donald Trump, Twitter has aggressively targeted and deplatformed young conservatives,” Denton told The Daily Signal on Monday. “It is no coincidence that just a week from Election Day, the leftists at Twitter executed one of the largest conservative ban-waves in the history of the platform.” (The Daily Signal is the media outlet of The Heritage Foundation.)

If Netanyahu cannot make a comeback, this could be his last election
If the pro-Netanyahu bloc can’t cobble together 61 seats after this election, many political observers are predicting that the Likud faction – which has been incredibly loyal to him and patient since the first election in this current cycle going back to April 2019 – will show the long-time party leader the door, realizing that with him at the party’s helm, they will simply not be able to return to power.

5 Signs That The War Between Russia And NATO Is About To Spiral Out Of Control
Have you ever found yourself completely losing your temper in the middle of a heated struggle of some sort? Whether it is a hotly contested sporting event, an actual fist fight or a bitter battle against an online foe, it can be way too easy to lose your temper. And when tempers flare, you can end up losing control and doing things that you deeply regret later. Unfortunately, the same thing is true on an international level. Russia and NATO have both become absolutely obsessed with “winning” in Ukraine, and leaders on both sides are getting angrier and angrier. And when leaders become extremely angry, they can do really stupid things.

Leftmedia outlets are busy rewriting Joe Biden’s record and warning about dangerous Republican plans.
How do we know Democrats are about to pay the political piper for fueling rampant inflation? Because numerous Leftmedia organs are banging the drum that it’s actually all Republicans’ fault and they’ll make it worse if they win.
First, in a column titled “Don’t blame Joe Biden for high inflation,” Steven Greenhouse warns, “For any American who is thinking of voting Republican out of anger about inflation, here’s some advice: look before you leap.” He proceeds to explain why he thinks Biden had little or nothing to do with inflation (it’s all the pandemic and Vladimir Putin’s fault!), while Republican plans will further raise prices.
Barack Obama says Republicans don’t have any plans. So which is it?
Greenhouse thinks that making permanent the Republican tax cuts signed into law by Donald Trump will somehow only help “the rich and big corporations.” He thinks that Biden’s price controls on healthcare “will reduce inflation for nearly 63 million Americans on Medicare,” and therefore repealing them will hurt. He claims that repealing ObamaCare “would push up healthcare prices for many Americans.” He argues that overturning Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan “will make it harder for millions of young Americans to deal with inflation.”
Wrong. The Republican tax cuts benefited every tax bracket and tens of millions of Americans across the economic spectrum. ObamaCare pushed up healthcare prices. Price controls put upward pressure on prices in other areas. Subsidizing some college grads at the expense of other people will raise the price of college tuition even further.
Greenhouse parrots Biden’s line about “corporate greed” too. From oil companies to other businesses, he argues that “roughly 40%” of inflation “can be attributed to fatter corporate profit margins.” Bernie Sanders claims it’s 54%.
As for oil companies, the Wall Street Journal editorial board corrects the record. “Keep in mind that oil majors’ current profits follow steep losses in the pandemic,” the editors write. “As oil prices plunged amid lockdowns, companies and OPEC nations pared investment and shut in wells. Demand for oil then bounced back much quicker than supply, which has driven up prices — and profits. That’s Econ 101.”
Nevertheless, there’s Joe Biden out there again yesterday threatening to punish oil and gas companies for engaging in capitalism. “Their profits are a windfall of war,” Biden asserted. “At a time of war, any company receiving historic windfall profits like this has a responsibility to act beyond the narrow self-interest of its executives and shareholders.” If they don’t bow to his wishes, “they’re going to pay a higher tax on their excess profits and face other restrictions.” Other restrictions? Like all the actions he’s taken since Day One in the Oval Office to make energy production harder and more expensive?
Earlier last month, Biden lectured the oil companies, “You should be using these record-breaking profits to increase production and refining.” For all his bloviating about our climate “emergency,” it’s awfully odd to hear him arguing for more oil production from companies he wants to put out of business. And it’s flat-out bizarre to think that punitive taxes on “windfall profits” (otherwise known as unconstitutional bills of attainder) will help consumers.
Meanwhile, there’s a very concerning impending diesel shortage, and let’s just say it isn’t Putin’s fault.
Elsewhere in the media, The New York Times is griping about Republican plans. “Few economists on either end of the ideological spectrum expect the party’s proposals to meaningfully reduce inflation in the short term,” the Times says. “Instead, many say some of what Republicans are proposing — including tax cuts for high earners and businesses — could actually make price pressures worse by pumping more money into the economy.”
Let’s translate: Proposals won’t “meaningfully reduce inflation” because Biden will still be president and Republicans won’t be able to really enact an agenda at all until January 2025. It’s not “tax cuts” to avoid raising taxes, instead keeping rates where they currently are. “Pumping more money into the economy” is a strange euphemism for not confiscating money through higher taxes in the first place. And these journalists clowns wonder why Americans don’t trust the media.
The Chicago Sun-Times editorial board blames — who else? — Donald Trump for inflation. “As right-wing politicians around the country holler about inflation, they conveniently ignore the long-term impact of former President Donald Trump’s 2017 tax cuts,” the sages of economic wisdom write. “Trump’s cuts, geared to help the wealthy, bloated the federal budget deficit, which left the government less leeway when it needed it to rescue the economy from COVID-19.”
The Republican cuts were only “geared” toward anyone in the sense that income tax rates were cut for people who pay income taxes. If half the population doesn’t pay income taxes, their 0% effective rate is pretty hard to cut. Even so, those tax cuts fueled a roaring economy, increased federal revenue as a result (contrary to the Sun-Times editors’ false assertion), and provided the only cushion that kept our nation out of depression when the pandemic hit. Imagine if COVID had come during Obama’s sluggish economy.
This November, voters have a choice: Believe the Democrats who have steered the economy into its present ditch and the lying media lackeys who defend that record against all evidence, or try something different by voting for the Republicans who have made a pretty decent Commitment to America.
Thanks to leaked documents, we’re now able to see the lengths to which Team Biden will go to censor inconvenient speech.
We had a hunch it was too good to be true.
Back in May, we celebrated the apparent demise of Joe Biden’s Orwellian Ministry of Truth. You remember — the Department of Homeland Security’s brand-new Disinformation Governance Board, which was supposed to be led by 33-year-old Mary Poppins impersonator and “Disinformation Czar” Nina Jankowicz. Happily, those plans went up in smoke only three weeks after Alejandro Mayorkas’s announcement, when the disgraced Jankowicz, who herself had been found to be a purveyor of disinformation, turned in her resignation.
As it turns out, Joe Biden and his Department of Homeland Security have been no less busy usurping the citizenry’s First Amendment rights, albeit on the sly. As The Intercept reports: “The Department of Homeland Security is quietly broadening its efforts to curb speech it considers dangerous, an investigation by The Intercept has found. Years of internal DHS memos, emails, and documents — obtained via leaks and an ongoing lawsuit, as well as public documents — illustrate an expansive effort by the agency to influence tech platforms.”
What platforms might these be? Facebook and Twitter, among others.
Among the topics around which the government sought to censor and control speech: “the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic and the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, racial justice, U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the nature of U.S. support to Ukraine.”
Each of the above topics can be seen as representing a notable weakness of Democrat policy, a weakness that might not hold up well in the face of continued scrutiny and criticism.
In its efforts to help this Democrat administration suppress the speech of its political opponents, Facebook went so far as to build a special portal through which those with a government or law enforcement email address can directly flag content on Facebook or Instagram and request that it be suppressed.
Big Brotherish, huh? All it takes for government actors to trample on the First Amendment rights of American citizens is an official email address? And the portal is apparently still active. At the time of publishing, The Intercept’s Ken Klippenstein and Lee Fang report that the “content request system” (facebook.com/xtakedowns/login) hasn’t been taken down. And why would it? This is how the Left operates. When its arguments continuously get trounced in the marketplace of ideas, it resorts to the last refuge of Democrat scoundrels: censorship.
Not surprisingly, neither DHS nor Facebook’s parent company, Meta, responded to The Intercept’s request for comment. As for the election-interfering FBI, which colluded with Facebook to stop the distribution of the New York Post’s election-changing blockbuster about Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop and the influence-peddling corruption detailed therein, it declined to comment.
Ultimately, disinformation is in the eye of the beholder. “How disinformation is defined by the government has not been clearly articulated,” write The Intercept’s Ken Klippenstein and Lee Fang, “and the inherently subjective nature of what constitutes disinformation provides a broad opening for DHS officials to make politically motivated determinations about what constitutes dangerous speech.”
Indeed, that’s the real danger of government involvement. Nina Jankowicz, for example, who but for a clumsy rollout might today be making decisions about what speech gets censored, believed that the Steele dossier was legit and Hunter Biden’s laptop was disinformation.
Have the Democrats gone too far this time? Perhaps so. “If a foreign authoritarian government sent these messages,” noted Nadine Strossen, the former president of the American Civil Liberties Union, “there is no doubt we would call it censorship.”

Pelosi attacker is an illegal alien, SCOTUS leans toward ending affirmative action, Biden won’t be impeached for an imperfect call, and more.
Thomas Gallatin & Jordan Candler
- Pelosi attacker is an illegal alien: Yet another inconvenient fact has come to light regarding the strange attack against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul. Not only was the 42-year-old suspect who attacked Mr. Pelosi with a hammer an apparently crazed leftist with a penchant for nudism, it also turns out that he is not an American. He is a Canadian who has been living in the U.S. illegally since overstaying his visa. So, not only is Pelosi’s attacker anything but a “MAGA Republican,” but, ironically, he’s been free to live in San Fransisco without fear of deportation thanks to California’s “sanctuary” policy. Talk about a classic example of Democrats’ leftist policies coming back to haunt them. We all hope that Mr. Pelosi makes a full recovery from his injuries, but the notion that Republican rhetoric has played any role in this attack is pure partisan fiction. If California wasn’t a sanctuary state, then this individual may not have been allowed to reside in the state, and this attack never would have occurred. Meanwhile, as our Mark Alexander, who has background experience in security and dignitary protection, observed: “This is not the district residence of just any member of Congress. This is the residence of the speaker of the House. I presume that the Capitol Police command center in DC has security camera footage covering every aspect of this break-in and assault — both outside and inside the residence — and that it was immediately aware of an illegal entry by an intruder. The Capitol Police should issue a detailed report on exactly what happened right away, but I suspect that report will not be released until after the midterm election.”
- SCOTUS leans toward ending affirmative action: On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments in two similar cases that essentially challenge the affirmative action polices within American universities. The two universities in question are the University of North Carolina and Harvard University. Plaintiffs in the cases claim that the schools’ use of race in determining admissions serves to discriminate against students who would otherwise be fully eligible. In each case, the schools defend their use of racial criteria as a component of admissions polices by arguing that doing so is necessary to ensure racial diversity within the student body. Harvard in particular has been infamously exposed for its admissions policies that have limited the number of Asian American students accepted into the school. Throughout the justices’ questioning, it became apparent that the Court’s conservative majority is not buying the argument. Justice Clarence Thomas raised the question as to what was even meant by the term “diversity,” and Justice Neil Gorsuch observed that including a racial component would lead to a racial quota system, which is against the law. If the Court overturns affirmative action, a system that when it was first implemented was never intended to continue indefinitely, it will go a long way in helping to stymie those who continue to foster race-based grievance politics.
- Biden won’t be impeached for an imperfect call: Democrats infamously spun up President Donald Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as grounds for impeachment. The Democrats ridiculously claimed that Trump was engaged in a politically motivated quid pro quo, and they ran with the charge as the House impeached him. Well, Republicans don’t tend to be purely partisan-motivated power mongers, so Joe Biden will not likely be facing any tit-for-tat regarding a bad phone call he had with Zelensky this past June. During that phone call, Biden informed Zelensky that he had just green-lighted another $1 billion in military aid, and Zelensky responded by asking for more help. Biden grew angry and yelled at Zelensky, noting how generous America had been already. Apparently, since that tense phone call, and as the war has increasingly turned in Ukraine’s favor, the relationship between Biden and Zelensky has improved. However, Republican lawmakers have continued to raise issues with the amount of money Biden is spending in Ukraine. “I think people are gonna be sitting in a recession and they’re not going to write a blank check to Ukraine,” observed House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy. “They just won’t do it.” While McCarthy clarified that he was not opposed to the U.S. helping Ukraine, he contended: “There should be no blank check on anything. We are $31 trillion in debt.”

A recently released report from GOP senators provides more evidence that COVID originated in a Wuhan lab.
An interim report released last week by the GOP Senate minority on the Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions (HELP) has come to the conclusion we’ve written about time and time again: COVID-19 was “more likely than not, the result of a research-related incident.” The report, commissioned by North Carolina Republican Senator Richard Burr, comes from the Republicans’ investigation into the origins of COVID-19.
Part of the investigation involved digging through years of publicly available archives of communications between scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) laboratories as well as their communications with Chinese government officials. It was a somewhat novel but rather straightforward effort to essentially decode publicly available communications from the WIV labs.
When COVID first hit the scene in late 2019, it just happened to be in the city of Wuhan, China, which just happened to be the location of the WIV labs that just happened to be researching bat coronaviruses. And since Wuhan was ground zero for the COVID outbreak, many scientists immediately began suspecting that these factors pointed to a lab leak being the most likely culprit.
Indeed, the convergence of all these glaring factors was too much for even leftist comedian Jon Stewart to ignore. Recall his response to “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert’s question: “Do you mean perhaps there’s a chance that this was created in a lab?” An exasperated Stewart answered: “A chance? Oh my God, there’s a novel respiratory coronavirus overtaking Wuhan, China. What do we do? Oh, you know who we could ask? The Wuhan novel respiratory coronavirus lab. The disease is the same name as the lab.”
That suspicion — along with rebutting the mind-numbing media narrative of a wet market origin — led the Senate Republicans’ investigation. As the report details: “While precedent of previous outbreaks of human infections from contact with animals favors the hypothesis that a natural zoonotic spillover is responsible for the origin of SARS-CoV-2, the emergence of SARS-CoV-2 that resulted in the COVID-19 pandemic was most likely the result of a research-related incident. This conclusion is not intended to be dispositive. The lack of transparency from government and public health officials in the PRC with respect to the origins of SARS-CoV-2 prevents reaching a more definitive conclusion.”
The ChiComs have indeed been belligerently opaque, blocking substantive investigations while still ridiculously maintaining just 5,200 deaths in a population of roughly 1.4 billion.
The report notes several factors supporting the conclusion of a lab leak being the most likely origin, including “persistent biosafety problems” at WIV biolabs as well as evidentiary “gaps” in scientific research. These “gaps include the failure to identify the original host reservoir, the failure to identify a candidate intermediate host species and the lack of serological or epidemiological evidence showing transmission from animals to humans, among others,” says the report. “As a result of these evidentiary gaps, it is hard to treat the natural zoonotic spillover theory as the presumptive origin of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
This report contradicts the World Health Organization’s initial conclusion in 2021, when the Chinese-beholden organization asserted that it was “extremely unlikely” that a lab leak was the original source for the global pandemic. Yet after that dubious conclusion, this year several WHO scientists changed their tune, stating that they “remain open to any and all scientific evidence that becomes available in the future to allow for comprehensive testing of all reasonable hypotheses.”
But as the lab leak theory was gaining in popularity, another couple of studies were produced that once again suggested a natural origin for COVID associated with the Wuhan wet market.
The COVID origin question has become a political football, where opposing sides have presented their conclusions. But with China refusing to hand over any of the significant data regarding the research being conducted in that Wuhan lab, the ability to come to a definitive answer continues to remain frustratingly out of reach. Even so, the preponderance of evidence points to the Wuhan lab.
Depression, obesity, an unhealthy diet, and decreased physical abilities are just some of the awful things that await our kids when we fail to restrict their screen time.
Perhaps it’s a sign this writer belongs to the “Get off my lawn!” generation, but the results of a recent survey of children in grades 5-12 about “Teens and Tech” was almost as sad as it was shocking.
“The tweens and teens in our sample reported using digital media (social media, gaming, online shopping, video chat, and texting) a total of approximately 10 hours and 4 minutes a day, on average,” according to the Institute for Family Studies. “Although some of this time may include multitasking (doing two or more of these activities at the same time), this is still a staggering amount of time considering the time children spend sleeping, eating, going to school, watching TV (which was not included as digital media), and participating in extracurricular activities.”
We don’t recall them adding any extra hours to the day, so the question has to be: What are these teenagers not doing now that they did prior to the availability of smartphones? And if only an hour of screen time contributes to depression, obesity, an unhealthy diet, and decreased physical abilities, as well as eyestrain, then Lord knows how eight to 10 hours a day affects these children.
Naturally, it doesn’t take too long to find any number of “experts” who say that the amount of screen time taken by kids from toddler to teenager is excessive. “Screen time usually takes [children] away from crucial activities for brain development,” says family therapist Dr. Kalanit Ben-Ari. “For example, being bored is very beneficial. Boredom means time to reflect, integrate, and come up with creativity and novelty. If a child can be consumed by social media every time they have a spare moment, they miss these experiences and developments.”
These experts also give parents a number of tips on how to cut screen time, but there’s a disparity pointed out in the IFS study: Children in non-stable family situations, such as single-parent or blended families, tend to have more screen time than children who belong to stable two-parent relationships, also known as the traditional family. Children with that sort of advantage have parents who take time to play with them, help with the homework, give them chores to do and rewards to earn, and perhaps even eat dinner as a family each night — all things that take away from the time otherwise glued to a screen.
Unfortunately, we as a society had to endure an extended period of enforced isolation, particularly the public school children who spent months out of class. Instead, their lives became that of sitting around a screen, watching their teacher try to explain basic subjects. And rather than participating in extracurricular activities or being out with friends, children were forced into being apart from each other for months at a time.
While we’ve already determined the detrimental academic effects of the pandemic (yes, it’s made an already long-term decline even worse), it’ll take a generation to know exactly what we’ve lost in terms of how the younger side of Generation Z socializes.
But it took a layperson and homeschool mom, columnist Joy Pullmann, to put this issue into perspective and deliver some tough love:
If your child did anything for 10 hours a day, you’d be worried about him and work strenuously to bring some balance to his life, for his own good. Parents need to man up and do the hard work of tightly restricting the addictive side of the internet from their kids, for not only their own good but for the sake of our country. …
If your children enter adulthood having done nothing with 25,000 hours of their lives they can never get back, and with their brains destroyed by internet slot machines, that’s on you. You’re the one paying for their phone and letting them self-destruct. Tell them to get a job or read some books or do anything but sabotage themselves and our society. If you don’t, you deserve to be judged the same way as moms who put Mountain Dew in their babies’ bottles.
A good school is one that restricts a child’s access to his or her smartphone in spite of some blowback, and the same thing can be done at home. It just takes parents who are committed to spending time with their children rather than leaving them under the spell of a screen.
Speaking as one who grew up with the “boob tube,” Pong as a video game, and a phone in the dining room with a 20-foot cord as the only means of privacy, it seems like we turned out all right. Sadly, though, we’ve underestimated the march of technology and collectively dropped the ball as parents.
It’s not too late to redeem ourselves.
The rise in the occult as a religion has infused leftist ideology, and it’s growing at the expense of Christianity.
As children, we were told that witches weren’t real; they were merely the villains in many a fairytale and easily defeated by the good, kind, and true heroes of the stories. As we grew, we learned there were in fact people out there who claimed to be witches, but they weren’t all that bad. Now, as adults, we see the plethora of occult paraphernalia that has flooded the marketplace of ideas and commerce. Neopaganism and New Age are trying to supplant Christianity in America.
According to a Pew Research study, the rise in unaffiliated non-Christian faiths in the United States grew by 6.7% between 2007 and 2014. Nearly 23% of respondents identified as atheist, agnostic, or “nothing in particular.” Of those who identified as “nothing in particular,” almost 7% said religion was important to them. The reality is that man was meant to worship something. It’s just how we’re wired. As Christian apologist G.K. Chesterton once said, “When men stop believing in God they don’t believe in nothing; they believe in anything.” Neopaganism and New Age are seducing religious seekers in their search for answers to life’s deepest questions.
Just what are neopaganism and New Age? According to the LA Progressive — a self-described “platform for progressive thought, opinion and perspectives on current events” — these movements were spiritual alternatives that gained traction and popularity in the 1970s as a result of economic decline.
The New Age movement is a mishmash of different religious systems including Hinduism, astrology, yoga, crystals, manifestations, hallucinogenics, and other means to “heal” yourself and try to make up for past lives’ missteps.
Neopaganism encompasses a range of different religious ideas such as pantheism, animism, polytheism, satanism, and witchcraft. Neopaganists believe in magic, the power of nature, and that you have the magical power within you to make things happen by sheer will. They also are more prone to directly pervert and mock Judeo-Christian practices in their liturgy and religious ceremonies.
Both religions are focused on elevating Self and one’s own experience as the highest form of truth and good. Both are also vehemently against Christianity. In fact, Angela Ucci, a former New Ager who practiced astrology, described it as being antagonistically against Christianity. Ucci, who was interviewed by political pundit Michael Knowles, has a very enlightening testimony about her time as a New Ager and her conversion to Christianity.
The glorification of neopaganism is evident in mainstream Hollywood. FX, a subsidiary of Disney, even produced an “adult” animation series called “Little Demon” that features one of the main characters as a witch. The actress, Aubrey Plaza, who voiced that character, blatantly said, “I love that we are normalizing paganism.” Why would she love that? Because it is the embodiment of chaos.
New Age is so prevalent in the mainstream that some if its ideas have even infiltrated Christians’ belief systems. According to another Pew Research poll, six in 10 Christians say they also believe in one of the New Age beliefs systems, those being spirituality in objects, belief in psychics, belief in astrology, or belief in reincarnation.
Enter leftist ideologues.
Climate change, transgenderism, abortion, cancel culture, and even critical race theory (CRT) have their poisonous roots in New Age and neopagan religious ideas. Under the auspices of New Age fall CRT and cancel culture. The tenets of CRT and cancel culture emphasize the importance of “lived experience,” “special knowledge,” and manifestation of your best life. Anyone who dares to contradict these deserves to be canceled because they are evil according to New Age. Ironically, New Age preaches that it can help its adherents self-help their way out of their problems while also creating a victim class.
Under neopaganism fall climate change, queer gender theory, and abortion, which is effectively considered a religious sacrament by satanists. Neopaganism seeks to upend society and boundaries in favor of chaos and unfettered individual autonomy.
This rise in New Age/mysticism and paganism is getting ever more prevalent in the mainstream culture. In Tyler, Texas, over the weekend, satanists (who would go into the neopaganism column) had a booth at a Pagan Pride event. The Morning Telegraph, a local paper covering the event, quoted the event organizer, Raynie Castañeda, as saying the event was not satanic, just an alternative celebration of non-Abrahamic religions. She said: “There’s kids trick-or-treating, people getting their faces painted. … We’re not doing anything satanic or any crazy rituals. We’re just existing.” She must have missed the part where the Satanic temple booth was preforming “unbaptisms” for $10 and handing out certificates that literally said: “All bonds of servitude have been broken. Power and agency have been restored. Thyself is thy master. Hail Satan!” Maybe Castañeda doesn’t understand what “satanic” is?
New Age and neopaganism are the religious underpinnings of the most radical leftist ideological movements whose aim is the destruction of American society as a whole. Christ preaches about the denial of the Self (Matthew 16:24-26) and following Him; that He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
New Age and neopaganism are regressive, transgressive, and do not bring the satisfaction or happiness that they promise to bring, mostly because their focus is entirely on Self. One’s Self is a very poor deity indeed.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have added an experimental treatment for COVID-19 to their schedule for routine childhood vaccinations.
What can you and your states do to protect your children from medical experimentation?
In the latest example of government bureaucrats attempting to take over our lives, the CDC has added an experimental treatment to their “Vaccine for Kids” program. This program provides eligible children free vaccines. What makes this decision truly awful is the vote by the CDC to add these treatments to their children’s vaccine schedule. Many schools and other children’s programs require children to receive the vaccines on the CDC’s schedule in order to attend. All of this is under the guise of a medical emergency that does not exist.
COVID-19 has been a blessing . . . for the tyrants and thugs that believe they know better than you how you should live your life. Sure, in the first few weeks, when we still didn’t know much about this novel corona-virus, we were willing to follow recommendations from those we thought were experts. Then those recommendations became mandates, suggestions became orders, and bureaucrats, many of whom have never even treated a patient, much less one with COVID-19, started claiming that they were the science, and anyone who disagreed with them wanted to kill grandma. All of this was justified by COVID-19 being a public health emergency. Since then more and more evidence has shown that COVID-19 was never a public health emergency, since only a very small demographic of the population was ever truly at risk of hospitalization and death. Yet the state of emergency still exists.

Interest on federal debt is set to skyrocket, potentially surpassing defense spending by as early as 2025, CNN reported Tuesday. The federal government made $475 billion in net interest payments in the fiscal year 2022 — which ended in September — up from $352 in fiscal year 2021, according to the Treasury Department.
With oil prices set to soar after the midterms as the SPR drain ends and markets no longer have desperate democrats to help fulfill their immediate energy needs, moments ago the WSJ unveiled another potential oil price powder keg, so to speak, when it reported that according to Saudi and U.S. officials, Saudi Arabia has shared intelligence with the U.S. warning of an imminent attack from Iran on targets in the kingdom, putting the American military and others in the Middle East on an elevated alert level.
The report goes on to note that Iran is poised to carry out attacks on both the kingdom and Erbil, Iraq, in an effort to distract attention from domestic protests that have roiled the country since September.
In response to the warning, Saudi Arabia – which until recently was on the Biden admin “naughty list” after the crown prince snubbed Biden’s demands for no OPEC+ output cut – the U.S. and several other neighboring states have raised the level of alert for their military forces, the officials said. They didn’t provide more details on the Saudi intelligence.
Separately, the White House National Security Council said it was concerned about the warnings and ready to respond if Iran carried out an attack.
“We are concerned about the threat picture, and we remain in constant contact through military and intelligence channels with the Saudis,” said a National Security Council spokesperson. “We will not hesitate to act in the defense of our interests and partners in the region.”
It wasn’t exactly clear how attacking Saudi Arabia and launching a war with a far better armed opponent would “distract attention” from Iran’s internal troubles, but what is very clear is that if Saudi Arabia wanted to send the oil price soaring, it wouldn’t use another OPEC+ cut but would simply take production offline indefinitely; and if it can arrange Iran to help out… well, why not.
Iran has allegedly attacked northern Iraq with dozens of ballistic missiles and armed drones in recent weeks, one of which was shot down by a U.S. warplane as it headed toward the city of Erbil, where American troops are based. Tehran has publicly blamed Iranian Kurdish separatist groups based there for fomenting the unrest at home.
Iranian authorities have also publicly accused Saudi Arabia, along with the U.S. and Israel, of instigating the demonstrations.
While there is no indication at this point that this report is anything more than just Intel agency jawboning and propaganda, if it does in fact escalate into another Persian Gulf powderkeg, watch how high the price of oil will shoot to.
Finance Flows from UN Report
The Guardian reports UN finds ‘no credible pathway to 1.5C in place’
The UN environment report analysed the gap between the CO2 cuts pledged by countries and the cuts needed to limit any rise in global temperature to 1.5C, the internationally agreed target. Progress has been “woefully inadequate” it concluded.
Current pledges for action by 2030, if delivered in full, would mean a rise in global heating of about 2.5C and catastrophic extreme weather around the world. A rise of 1C to date has caused climate disasters in countries from Pakistan to Puerto Rico.
If the long-term pledges by countries to hit net zero emissions by 2050 were delivered, global temperature would rise by 1.8C. But the glacial pace of action means meeting even this temperature limit was not credible, the UN report said.
A study published this week found “large consensus” across all published research that new oil and gas fields are “incompatible” with the 1.5C target.
What Would It Cost?
Hooray! Only $4 trillion to 6 trillion per year.
“A global transformation from a heavily fossil fuel- and unsustainable land use-dependent economy to a low-carbon economy is expected to require investments of at least US$4–6 trillion a year,” stated the UN report (page 26 of 132).
Q: US$4–6 trillion a year for how many years?
A: Based on figure ES.6 (lead chart) least eight years.
Q: What Percent of GDP?
A: 4 to 9 percent for developing countries, and 2 to 4 percent for developed countries.
And developing countries will gladly fork over up to 9 percent of GDP every year for eight years.
Meanwhile, the EU is burning more trees and coal. Burning trees is magically deemed environmentally neutral.
What a hoot.
The US and its allies have earmarked nearly $100 billion in security and economic aid to Ukraine so far this year. Last month, the White House asked Congress for a $11.7 billion top-up. Where is this money going? Who’s benefiting from Western taxpayers’ generosity?
There was a time when a large portion of Americans belonged to the “middle class.” It meant you could afford a decent living standard, such as owning a house and a car and had savings in the bank. When “baby boomers” reminisce about the “good ole days,” they are referring to when being middle-class was normal.
However, the American middle class has continued to contract over the past five decades. According to Pew Research, the share of adults who live in middle-class households fell from 61 percent in 1971 to 50 percent in 2021.
The shrinking of the middle class is accompanied by an increase in the share of adults in the upper-income tier, which increased from 14 percent in 1971 to 21 percent in 2021. At the same time, there was an increase in the share who are in the lower-income tier, from 25 percent to 29 percent. These changes have occurred gradually, as the share of adults in the middle class decreased in each decade from 1971 to 2011, but then held steady through 2021.
The Census Bureau clearly shows the problem in the “mean household income data” through 2021.
Source: Census Bureau Chart: Real Investment Advice.com
That dotted black line is the most important. As with the PEW Research data, looking at incomes alone obfuscates the most important part of income analysis. The question is, how much income it takes to maintain a “middle-class” lifestyle, or rather, what does it take to buy a house and a car and feed two kids?
Most importantly, and what is often not included in the analysis, is the standard of living gets “paid for” on an “after-tax” basis. When we include taxation, it becomes clear that roughly 80 percent of America is failing to support the “middle-class” lifestyle.

As we discussed recently, Harvard Business Review noted: “Besides a booming labor market, exceptionally strong household balance sheets help keep spending high. Households’ net worth is far higher than pre-COVID for every single income quintile, providing some buffer to the headwinds of inflation and dour consumer sentiment.”
Again, it is a true statement that household net worth has increased since the COVID lockdown lows. However, household net worth is predominately held by the top 10 percent of income earners, leaving the bottom 90 percent fighting over the remaining 30 percent of the wealth.

More Debt Isn’t A Choice
Debt is not a choice for most “middle-class” Americans.
I recently discussed “Recession Fatigue” that is plaguing more individuals, according to a BankRate.com survey. To wit: “When broken down by generation, younger adults, or Gen Zers, are more likely to experience ‘recession fatigue’ than millennials, Gen Xers, and baby boomers. In the report, ‘recession fatigue’ is primarily afflicting younger generations, leaving them unprepared to face a recession. Such data certainly flies in the face of media reports of households having ‘strong financial balance sheets.’”
With the Federal Reserve focused on combatting inflation by tightening monetary policy, the financial pressures on households will continue to increase. Given already high levels of “unpreparedness” for a recession, such approaches leaves a majority of families dependent on additional debt to make ends meet.
“According to the latest New York Federal Reserve report, credit card debt surged by $46 billion in the second quarter. As shown above, such is not surprising as consumers struggled to maintain their standard of living. The 13 percent annualized increase in new debt was the largest in more than 20 years. Moreover, aggregate limits on cards marked their most significant increase in the last decade.”
Source: St. Louis Federal Reserve Chart: Real Investment Advice.com
With the pandemic-driven savings now spent, 60 percent of Americans say they are living paycheck-to-paycheck. While consumers can supplement their disposable incomes with debt to offset rising inflationary pressures, this is not a long-term solution. The chart below, which requires a brief explanation, shows the problem clearly.
Between 1959 and 1990, individuals could sustain their inflation-adjusted standard of living with only incomes and savings. There was roughly a $4,700 surplus yearly as households had very low debt levels. However, beginning in 1990 and accelerating following the Financial Crisis in 2008, households required an increasing level of debt to “fill the gap” between what income and savings could afford and the cost of the current living standard. You will notice a brief spike in 2020-2021 as “stimmy checks” hit household bank accounts. However, that surplus has reversed to the deepest deficit on record.

As the “wealth gap” continues to widen between those in the top 10 percent of income earners and everyone else, the ability to maintain a “middle-class” lifestyle becomes more challenging.
The Road To Serfdom
A recent U.S. News article outlined the many forces that shape an individual’s economic class and their views of where they rank.
“When asked how they identify their social class, 73 percent of Americans said they belonged to the middle or working classes, according to an April 2022 survey from Gallup. Fourteen percent identified themselves as an upper-middle class and 2 percent categorized themselves as upper class. In determining their social class, people often don’t just think about income, experts say, but other factors, including education, location, and family history.”
However, statistics suggest that if 89 percent of surveyed individuals identify as middle to upper-class, that only leaves 11 percent of the population at the other end. However, income, debt, and net worth statistics clearly show that this is not the case.
The reality is that middle-class America continues to shrink as the rich-get-richer and poor-get-poorer. The rich can invest, save, and use very little debt to sustain their living standard, while the poor rely on debt, making long-term prosperity an impossible goal.
Furthermore, as the peasants demand “more free stuff” from the government, such requires more debt and higher taxes. Those demands then divert more capital away from productive investment leading to slower economic growth. As growth slows, businesses shift to the lowest labor costs or automation, lowering income growth for domestic workers. Such leads to more demands for “free stuff” from the government, and the cycle intensifies, pushing more of the middle class downward.
The share of annual incomes between the bottom 80 percent and the top 5 percent is evidence of that wealth transfer from the middle class.

The road to serfdom is paved with good intentions.
After decades of piling on increasing debt levels to generate economic growth, the damage to economic growth is becoming more visible. As shown, economic growth trends are already falling short of both previous long-term growth trends.

The end game of too much debt, combined with an aging demographic, is the “deflationary disaster” apparent in Japan’s economy.
Of course, Japan doesn’t have a middle class any longer, either.
Russia asks whether the former British PM told the US secretary of state ‘it’s done’ after Nord Stream blasts
Russia’s Foreign Ministry has weighed in on speculation that former British prime minister, Liz Truss sent a suspicious message to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken after the Nord Stream undersea pipelines were damaged.
London should officially comment on a claim that Truss messaged “It’s done” to America’s top diplomat right after powerful blasts disabled the gas pipelines that run between Russia and Germany, spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Tuesday.
She stated that “millions of people around the world have the right to know what happened to world energy security” and whether the US and UK had a role in the attack.
The claim appears to have originated from Finnish-German tech businessman and social media personality Kim Dotcom. Last week, he responded to reports in the British media about a possible hack of Truss’ phone, by alleging that Moscow based its accusations against London and Washington on information it obtained from the device.
Dotcom speculated that Truss messaged “It’s done” to Blinken “a minute after the pipeline blew up and before anybody else knew,” without offering any evidence of the scenario.
The story about the purported hack was printed by the Mail on Sunday based on anonymous security sources. The newspaper claimed that the culprits obtained a year’s worth of Truss’ highly sensitive communications with British and foreign officials and presumed that the hackers were working for Russia.
The Nord Stream pipelines were damaged by powerful explosions in late September when Truss was still serving her record-short tenure as the British prime minister. Moscow noted that the US was the party that obviously benefited most from the disruption, which undercut the EU’s ability to get supplies of natural gas from Russia. America is now selling its own more expensive liquified natural gas to Europe.
The claim that Britain had a hand in blowing up the pipelines was made by the Russian Defense Ministry last Saturday when it reported details about a drone attack on the Russian Black Sea fleet.
The ministry claimed that it was launched by Ukraine with the assistance of “British specialists” based in the city of Ochakov. Members of the same “unit of the Royal Navy took part in planning, supporting and executing” the attack on the pipelines, the Russian military explained.
The UK Ministry of Defence reacted to the allegation in a tweet that accused its Russian counterpart of “peddling false claims of an epic scale.”
Europe lost access to up to 110 billion cubic meters worth of natural gas on September 26, when a series of explosions rocked the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines carrying Russian gas to Germany via the Baltic Sea. After a comprehensive, month-long investigation, the Russian military concluded that the Royal Navy was behind the sabotage.
There is now considerable evidence that mRNA gene therapies are routinely injuring the heart, with raised troponin levels across the board and subclinical myocarditis in up to one in 27 cases or more.
With the unreliable tests, $100,000 payouts to hospitals, and widespread ‘death by ventilators,’ the COVID-19 crisis was manufactured from the start.
According to the renowned economist, “everything will split in two”
A new world war is practically underway, “certainly in Ukraine and cyberspace,” economist Nouriel Roubini explained.
Last week, the New York University professor was interviewed by Der Spiegel and listed some of the world’s most acute problems.
Recalling a recent event hosted by the International Monetary Fund, he referred to historian Niall Ferguson who “said in a speech there that we would be lucky if we got an economic crisis like in the 1970s — and not a war like in the 1940s.”
When speaking about major global threats, Roubini mentioned the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, adding that Iran and Israel are “on a collision course” as well.
“I read that the Biden administration expects China to attack Taiwan sooner rather than later,” the economist said, summarizing that “World War III has already effectively begun.”
The rivalry between Washington and Beijing is driving tension to a large degree, Roubini noted, adding that the US has banned the export of certain semiconductors to China and is pressuring European nations into cutting trade ties with the country on national security grounds. He believes that a breakup of the globalized world is looming.
“Trade, finance, technology, internet: Everything will split in two,” he predicted.
It was not clear if non-allied nations would pick the US side in the confrontation, he said. “I asked the president of an African country why he gets 5G technology from China and not from the West. He told me, we are a small country, so someone will spy on us anyway. Then, I might as well take the Chinese technology, it’s cheaper,” the economist revealed to Der Spiegel.
The professor is concerned that the political systems in the US and Europe may not be able to deal with the problems, leading to a rise of right-wing governments.
Nouriel Roubini came to prominence for predicting the financial crisis of 2008-09 and was dubbed ‘Doctor Doom’ by Wall Street.
