There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
Clearly there is a genuine spiritual risk for the younger generation growing up in this current crusade of make-believe and skepticism towards transcendent morality. It’s one thing for adults to deal with these assaults upon truth, but young children are not intellectually and emotionally developed enough to make a clear distinction between what is real and what is imaginary. Some people who are involved in early education have found this to be true in their professional experience.
Should we really be shocked about the declining health and welfare of many children influenced by America’s cultural preoccupation with all things make-believe? After all, why wouldn’t our little ones be in turmoil when the educational agenda of our time isn’t about the three Rs, but rather about teaching our youngsters to reject their God-given identity and live as some sort of magical being empowered by the incantation of their preferred pronouns and the medical wizardry of gender reassignment?
The truth is, if we allow children to be constantly exposed to academic malpractice, fantasy narratives, virtual-reality gaming and cosplay cultism, then we should not be surprised when they prefer to live their life predominately outside of reality and God’s truth.
These days, our poor kids have little hope of avoiding the insidious mindworms of our society’s fantasies and mad delusions. Just look at the present cultural landscape: the satanic pagan imagery of popular music performers, the woke indoctrination of Disney entertainment, and even the baffling sight of drag queen RuPaul on a box of Cheezits at the local grocery store. This widespread propaganda, produced by unprincipled adults who want to promote overt rebellion against parents and God, is a major reason why we are seeing a rise in the psychological distress and spiritual confusion of innocent children.
New studies on children’s wellness, in fact, are showing the incredible damage taking place. Recent data shows reading and math proficiency among our public school students are at 20 year lows, especially in Illinois where dozens of schools statewide had zero grade-level proficiency. And in case you were wondering, some of the numbers were only “slightly better” in pre-pandemic 2019.
Schools have also failed to protect our children from the fallout of America’s increasing social turmoil and anger. Despite massive educational campaigns to stop it, bullying is on the rise with 90% of students in grades 4-8 becoming victims of harassment that often includes cyber-bullying and physical assault. The NEA, in fact, reports that over 160,000 kids refuse to go to school each day for fear of being bullied.
Likewise, self-harm is a huge issue. Suicide rates have increased among U.S. adolescents and young adults (age 10-24) and now account for 14% of all suicides, which is indicative of the overall rise of cases over the last decade. According to the latest study by the CDC, nearly three in five teenage girls in America felt persistent sadness in 2021, double the rate of boys, and one in three girls considered attempting suicide. The findings also showed high levels of violence, depression and suicidal thoughts among lesbian, gay and bisexual youth.
The Spiritual Risk of a Child Reared on Fantasy
Clearly there is a genuine spiritual risk for the younger generation growing up in this current crusade of make-believe and skepticism towards transcendent morality. It’s one thing for adults to deal with these assaults upon truth, but young children are not intellectually and emotionally developed enough to make a clear distinction between what is real and what is imaginary. Some people who are involved in early education have found this to be true in their professional experience:
“A child who spends too much time in a world of fantasy may find it difficult to relate to others, to interact in a group, to be in the here and now. It can also be scary for a child… When a child under 5 or 6 hears a fairy tale with a wicked witch, they then also imagine this witch to be real as a child of this age has a very concrete understanding of the world. They visualize it as if it is real as they are not yet able to clearly separate fantasy from reality.” — Pretend Play: A Complicated Question
Sadly, this childhood interaction between fact and fantasy can be even more complicated when you, as a Christian parent, begin to introduce your child to the real person of Jesus Christ. This should be an exciting and joyful truth to share with your little one as you begin the process of rearing your child under the instruction of God’s word, but it can oftentimes be a difficult education if Jesus has to compete with Santa Claus, Marvel superheroes, or Harry Potter as the object of your child’s fledgling hero-worship.
Recent research has proven this childhood confusion with fantasy to be a real issue. Case in point, a 2014 research study at Boston University where it was discovered that young children with a religious background were less able to distinguish between fantasy and reality compared with their secular counterparts:
In two studies, 66 kindergarten-age children were presented with three types of stories: realistic, religious and fantastical. The researchers then queried the children on whether they thought the main character in the story was real or fictional.
While nearly all children found the figures in the realistic narratives to be real, secular and religious children were split on religious stories. Children with a religious upbringing tended to view the protagonists in religious stories as real, whereas children from non-religious households saw them as fictional.
Although this might be unsurprising, secular and religious children also differed in their interpretation of fantasy narratives where there was a supernatural or magical storyline.
“Secular children were more likely than religious children to judge the protagonist in such fantastical stories to be fictional,” wrote the researchers. “The results suggest that exposure to religious ideas has a powerful impact on children’s differentiation between reality and fiction, not just for religious stories but also for fantastical stories.” — BBC News, Study: Religious Children Are Less Able To Distinguish Fantasy From Reality
The researchers concluded (as most college researchers are prone to do) that exposure to a religious education is probably the main culprit in a child’s difficulty in identifying fact from fiction. This conclusion, however, seems to indicate an anti-biblical bias that completely ignores the alternative possibility. Why is religious upbringing the problem? Isn’t it just as plausible that fictional stories involving magic are the real cause of confusion, especially when these tales of superheroes, witches and wizards are the ones mimicking God’s supernatural power in the Bible?
In light of Scripture, this alternative conclusion is clearly confirmed. For starters, God is not a God of confusion. God’s word will not return void, but will accomplish what He pleases and will prosper in that thing for which He sent it. Over and over again, the Bible confirms that scriptural instruction from the word of God is essential to a child’s proper upbringing.
Is belief in God and the biblical worldview nearing extinction in America? According to a new and not exactly shocking study from the Cultural Research Center (CRC) at Arizona Christian University, the answer is yes.
Though the remnant of true, mature, Bible-believing Christians is strong and doctrinally sound, the numbers don’t look good.
This is the first study of Americans’ worldview in the “post-lockdown era” of the last few years. According to the CRC, the biblical worldview has declined to a disturbing, historic low of just 4%. Ouch.
It’s no wonder when we look at culture, our decency, virtue, and morality as a nation are practically in the gutter. So why is this such a big deal? It shows a falling-away from God never seen before in America.
Every adult has a worldview, a lens through which we see the world and a filter by which we make our decisions. And I agree with researcher, Dr. George Barna who says people don’t accidentally or randomly go through life and suddenly acquire a biblical worldview. It takes a committed, intentional, purposeful effort to develop.
For Christian parents today, this requires a non-negotiable decision and determination to teach, influence, and persuade your children to embrace biblical principles as the foundation for life, truth, and decision-making.
America’s secular-progressive culture, however, is taking generations of kids in the exact opposite direction. On purpose.
In 2020 for example, 69% of people fell into what the CRC calls the “World Citizen” category. What this means is these folks might embrace a few biblical principles and may even believe in God and go to church, but their lifestyle doesn’t reflect biblical teachings. They live contrary to Scripture and most are not convicted to do otherwise.
Just two years later, the study showed that even a larger majority (82%) of the population falls into this group.
Also last year, research showed that 94% of young parents in America believed in a blending of multiple worldviews in which no single life philosophy is dominant. This can be confusing and self-contradictory.
The new study shows fewer people believe in one true God and George Barna adds:
“When you put the data in perspective, the biblical worldview is shuffling toward the edge of the cliff; …As things stand today, biblical theism is much closer to extinction in America than it is to influencing the soul of the nation.”
Four percent is lowest it’s been since Barna began measuring biblical worldview in the early 1990s. The obvious concern today is young people have almost non-existent godly influences in their lives. As a result, Americans are raising the most defiant anti-Christian kids who are “the most aggressive at rejecting biblical principles in our culture.”
One reason for this is sadly, not nearly enough Christian churches and schools are equipping and preparing young people to develop and maintain a biblical worldview.
Parents, establishing a biblical worldview in your kids falls on your shoulders. Moreover, you should see it not just as a responsibility but an honor to raise strong Christian children at home.
Modern culture leads today’s shift away from God and the Bible to a worldview that puts emotion, experience, and feelings over facts, and one-way tolerance over truth. Anything goes, really.
It’s not hard to understand when we are reminded how prophetic this is. Romans 1, Isaiah 5:20, 2 Timothy 3, 2 Peter 3, delusion, lawlessness, pride, and rebellion rule the day.
Theologian, John Ankerberg stated:
“If the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and if it authoritatively answers the fundamental questions of life, then who can logically be passive and ignore its teachings? If the Bible accurately tells us who God is, who we are, why we are here, and what happens when we die, is there a living soul anywhere who should fail to be impressed?
As opposed to every other belief system that leaves you with questions and uncertainty, Christianity provides compelling answers to the questions of origin, meaning, morality, and destiny.
It seems clear, however, many people today just don’t want to know or accept the truth. This new study is yet another that confirms it.
Stay the course and keep the faith in these last days when the majority are heading for the cliff.
The desires of the righteous shall be granted. (Proverbs 10:24)
Because it is a righteous desire it is safe for God to grant it. It would be neither good for the man himself, nor for society at large, that such a promise should be made to the unrighteous. Let us keep the Lord’s commands, and He will rightfully have respect to our desires.
When righteous men are left to desire unrighteous desires, they will not be granted to them. But then these are not their real desires; they are their wanderings or blunders, and it is well that they should be refused. Their gracious desires shall come before the Lord, and He will not say them nay.
Does the Lord deny us our requests for a time? Let the promise for today encourage us to ask again. Has He denied us altogether? We will thank Him still, for it always was our desire that He should deny us if He judged a denial to be best.
As to some things, we ask very boldly. Our chief desires are for holiness, usefulness, likeness to Christ, preparedness for heaven. These are the desires of grace rather than of nature—the desires of the righteous man rather than of the mere man. God will not stint us in these things but will do for us exceeding abundantly. “Delight thy self also in the Lord, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” This day, my soul, ask largely!
God is the eternal God. Everything there is in the heavens and on the earth—every planet, every plant, every person, and every creature had a first moment, a first day, or a first breath—and that “first” came from God. There has never been an eternal moment without God…from everlasting to everlasting He is God.
There is a God you can turn to and believe in. Trust God to be true to His word.
But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]. Hebrews 11:6 (AMP)
The heavens are Yours, and the earth is Yours; everything in the world is Yours—You created it all. Psalm 89:11 (NLT)
Know who God is:
It is God’s nature, character, and attributes that reveal to us who God is. God is love…is good…is just…is great…is all-powerful…is all-knowing…is all-present…is merciful…is compassionate…is faithful…is true…is glorious…is loveliness…is holiness…is righteousness…that is who God is…and so much more!
No one is like God. Trust Him with all your heart and all your life.
He prayed, “O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like You in all of heaven and earth. You keep Your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before You in wholehearted devotion. 2 Chronicles 6:14 (NLT)
Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the highest heavens. You have done such wonderful things. Who can compare with You, O God? Psalm 71:19 (NLT)
O LORD God of Heaven’s Armies! Where is there anyone as mighty as You, O LORD? You are entirely faithful… Psalm 89:8 (NLT)
Know the ways God has revealed Himself:
God is not hidden away in a far and dark corner of the universe. He is not a mystery God who conceals His identity from us. He has revealed Himself in many sure and certain ways including—His creation, our conscience, His Word, His Holy Spirit, and through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only way to see and know the Father.
God will be found if you seek Him. Trust Him as your Creator.
He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God. Colossians 1:15 (NKJV)
Jesus replied, “Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father!” John 14:9 (NLT)
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father. John 14:6-9 (NKJV)
Know God is knowable:
God is a divine person. He thinks, He feels, He wills. He desires to be known and to know us through a personal relationship. God is knowable and can be known by anyone whose heart fully seeks to know Him. He wants us to be in a relationship with Him…He as our heavenly Father and we as His children whom He loves and cares for with all His heart.
You can know God personally. Trust Him to commune with you.
But if from there you will seek (inquire for and require as necessity) the Lord your God, you will find Him if you [truly] seek Him with all your heart [and mind] and soul and life. Deuteronomy 4:29 (AMP)
But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods. But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God… Galatians 4:8 (NKJV)
Know God’s Son:
To know the Son is to know the Father, for the Son is the way for us to see God in truth. Jesus Christ came to us and called to us to come to Him—It is not His will to be a stranger to us, but to be our Savior; it is not His will to be a foreigner to us, but to be our brother; it is not His will to be an enemy to us, but to be our Friend. We can know Him personally, intimately, abundantly. We can commune with Him, break bread with Him, fellowship with Him, walk with Him, and delight in Him throughout our lives.
Place your total trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Trust Him to save you and guide you.
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:3 (NKJV)
“My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” Matthew 11:27 (NLT)
Do you want to know God? It can start today with this simple sample prayer
Lord Jesus, I want to know you personally. Thank you dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of my life. Make me be the person you want me to be. Amen.
Saying this prayer is the first step towards a personal relationship with Jesus, who will guide and encourage you every step of the way.

Whistleblower Sounds The Alarm On FBI Plot to Criminalize Christianity In the United States, criminals rule the streets in many major cities, millions of illegal immigrants flow across the open southern border every year, and the Chinese connections of the president’s son are called into question. With that being said, what do you think Biden’s FBI has decided to focus on? Trying to find ways to criminalize Christianity, apparently.
The January 6 committee has essentially acknowledged that it failed to provide the American public with a just and precise evaluation of the Capitol riot that occurred in 2021 ahead of certifying then-President-elect Joe Biden.
In a statement to CNN, committee Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) declared that the group never scrutinized the J6 footage, which Fox News aired this week and had not been viewed before.
“I’m not actually aware of any member of the committee who had access,” Thompson said. “We had a team of employees who kind of went through the video.”
Thompson said he doesn’t think any of the Jan. 6 members themselves ever had access to the footage — they let only staff view it. "I'm actually not aware of any member of the committee who had access. We had a team of employees who kind of went through the video."
Regardless of whether the panel members’ staff simply skimmed through the video or were already aware of it but opted to keep it hidden, the January 6 investigation was supposedly tasked by then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for delivering an impartial and precise account of the event.
Carlson’s team was given access to some 41,000 hours of previously undisclosed video footage taken in and around the U.S. Capitol on the day of the riot, and he aired some of it on Monday. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who provided Carlson’s team the access, defended his decision to do so earlier this week.
“Do you regret giving him this footage so he could whitewash the events of that day?” one reporter asked the California Republican.
McCarthy responded by citing “transparency” as a major reason why he gave Fox News first access.
“I said at the very beginning – transparency. And so what I want to produce for everybody is exactly what I said, that people can actually look at it and see what’s gone on that day,” McCarthy noted.
“Each person can come up with their own conclusion [about the footage], but what I just want to make sure is I had transparency,” he added.
McCarthy took specific aim at CNN for its coverage, which he said had raised significant security concerns for lawmakers like himself in the past. He reiterated that his goal is to ensure transparency moving forward.

Carlson said during his Monday show that Americans had been “lied” to about at least some of the events of Jan. 6, and he called out specific members of the January 6 Committee in particular.
“If there’s one takeaway from the corpus of footage that we spent three weeks looking at, it’s that the January 6th committee lied,” he said. “Its members are liars, and as the result of those lies, core civil liberties in this country were eroded, people went to prison. They’re in prison as of right now, unjustly. So those lies had consequences.
“So you have to ask yourself, whatever happened to the members of the January 6th committee, these liars who hurt people and the country?” he added. “Well, let’s see, Adam Schiff is running for Senate. Adam Kinzinger got a job at CNN. Liz Cheney somehow wound up a professor at the University of Virginia, the august University of Virginia. They’re all still there. Benny Thompson. Ooh, listen to his wisdom. But they’re liars, and above all,” he added.
Last month, McCarthy honored his promise to release the surveillance footage filmed during the Jan. 6 incident at the US Capitol. Axios co-founder Mike Allen reported: “Carlson TV producers were on Capitol Hill last week to begin digging through the trove, which includes multiple camera angles from all over Capitol grounds. Excerpts will begin airing in the coming weeks.”
Earlier in February, Republican Reps. Matt Gaetz of Florida and Lauren Boebert of Colorado announced that McCarthy had agreed to release more of the footage to the public.
Gaetz said McCarthy agreed to do so as part of a deal to win his and Boebert’s support, two Republicans in a group of about 20 that held back their support for days, denying him the speaker’s gavel.
“The American people deserve to know the truth about what happened on January 6th. We have demanded to see all the footage. Transparency is coming,” Gaetz said. “Every time from the JFK files, to 9/11, to now January 6th. It’s our own government, our own Department of Justice that seems to stand in the way of transparency.”

U.S. — Sources report Tucker Carlson has obtained 40,000 hours of never-before-seen footage of President Joe Biden falling down the stairs on Air Force One.
“Hahahaha,” said Mr. Carlson, as he began reviewing footage to release to the public. “Hahahahaahahahahaha!”
Though a few videos have previously circulated of President Biden losing his long-running battle with stairs, Speaker Kevin McCarthy said security cameras have captured several thousand more hours of Biden’s tumbles. “They were actually stuck on the tarmac for five hours in Poland as Biden plunged down the stairs dozens of times,” said Mr. McCarthy. “I know Democrats are angry about our releasing this footage, but their narrative of Biden having a ‘mostly peaceful’ relationship with stairs just isn’t true. The American people deserve to see for themselves.”
Doctors who viewed the footage report that President Biden has likely accumulated several hundred concussions from his repeated nosedives. “He might not even have dementia,” said local neurologist Dr. Kelly Meachem. “It could just be the hundreds upon hundreds of concussions he has sustained falling down flights of stairs. I’m surprised the man can even form sentences. Well, I guess he can’t form sentences, but he does get close sometimes – which is sort of impressive.”
At publishing time, President Biden had spent twenty-fours straight falling down a shopping mall escalator.

The Department of Defense will reportedly emphasize replenishing stocks of arms sent to Ukraine
The US Department of Defense plans to request more than $300 billion for weapons procurement and research and development efforts in the upcoming fiscal year, Bloomberg reported on Saturday, citing confidential papers. The spending will reportedly focus on replacing the munitions sent to Kiev and enhancing the US’ ability to fight China.
According to an internal budget document seen by the news outlet, the Pentagon is seeking a total of $170 billion for new arms. Of this sum, $76.8 billion is being requested for the Navy and Marines, $61 billion for the Air and Space Force, and $15.7 billion for the Army, the report says.
In particular, the Department of Defense requested $400 million to acquire a new version of the Stinger air defense system, $199 million to purchase 541 Javelin anti-armor missiles, and $179 million to procure 28 additional High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), Bloomberg reported. The US has provided all of these types of armaments to Kiev to aid it in its fight against Russia.
The Pentagon also wants to boost its stock of long-range missiles, which would be critical in the event of a direct military confrontation with China, the report says.
In addition, the Pentagon also reportedly requested $145 billion for research and development projects. This includes $46 billion that would be earmarked for the Air Force, $27 billion for the Navy, and $15.7 billion for the Army.
The documents are scheduled for release on Monday, according to Bloomberg. The new fiscal year starts on October 1.
The Pentagon’s reported requests come after the administration of US President Joe Biden published a budget proposal on Thursday that would entail defense spending increasing by 3.2% to a total of $842 billion in 2024, with $6 billion pledged to Ukraine.
In recent months, there have been numerous media reports claiming that US arms stockpiles are being depleted due to the country’s support for Ukraine. Since the start of the conflict, the Pentagon has committed some $32.2 billion in military aid to Kiev, including tens of thousands of artillery rounds and thousands of anti-air and anti-armor systems.
Russia has repeatedly warned both the US and its NATO allies that supplying Kiev with arms would only prolong the conflict while making the bloc a direct participant in the hostilities.
US Rep. Dan Bishop from North Carolina provided shocking evidence at the Twitter hearing regarding the extent of corruption in the US government since the Obama years to target free speech in the country.
Bishop’s discussion with Taibbi started with him allowing Taibbi the time to respond to the Democrat’s attack on Taibbi’s prior comments. Taibbi explained that he knew journalists in Russia in the 1990’s who were murdered for their reporting. This is why he is so concerned with what is going on in the US.
Earlier in the day before the hearing on Thursday, Taibbi released a Twitter thread that shared shocking claims about how extensive the US government’s actions are in censoring conservative media.
In Tweet number 33 Taibbi explains what the Censorship Industrial complex is:
33. This is the Censorship-Industrial Complex at its essence: a bureaucracy willing to sacrifice factual truth in service of broader narrative objectives. It’s the opposite of what a free press does.

In his 24th and 25th tweets, Taibbi shares that the GEC-funded entity – the Global Disinformation Index, and the DOD-funded Newsguard:
…not only seek content moderation but apply subjective “risk” or “reliability” scores to media outlets, which can result in reduction in revenue. Do we want government in this role?

The discussion between Bishop and Taibbi went on to discuss the government’s financial support for the censorship activities of conservative media [like The Gateway Pundit]. This led to the discussion about the GEC. This entity was reported on previously by TGP as a result of prior Twitter file releases.
Rep. Bishop played a short audio of the former and first head of the corrupt GEC and who worked under the Obama Administration, Richard Stengel:
Basically every country creates their own narrative and story. My old job at the State Department is what people used to joke as the ‘Chief Propagandist’ job. We haven’t talked about propaganda. Propaganda, I’m not against propaganda. Every country does it and they have to do it to their own population.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban warned on Friday that Western leaders appear “very close to suggesting in all seriousness” that NATO troops be sent to Ukraine. Orban’s comments come amid growing concerns in Washington that the alliance’s Ukrainian client state is losing in the proxy conflict against Russia.
The White House is asking Congress for a whopping $886.4 billion military budget for the fiscal year 2024, with $842 billion of it going to the Pentagon. The rest would go toward other federal agencies’ military spending, including the Energy Department’s nuclear weapons program.
The 2024 National Defense Authorization Act will likely be much higher than the White House request as Congress added tens of billions to the previous two military budgets. For 2023, President Biden requested $813 billion, but Congress added $45 billion, bringing the finalized NDAA to $858 billion.
Image via CSIS
Congress could easily bring the 2024 NDAA to over $900 billion, closing in on the $1 trillion mark. The NDAAs don’t include the funds authorized for the Ukraine war, which could add another $100 billion if the US keeps spending on the conflict at the same pace.
In a statement on the request, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said the funds were needed to confront China, which the Pentagon has identified as its top priority.
“The President’s budget request provides the resources necessary to address the pacing challenge from the People’s Republic of China, address advanced and persistent threats, accelerate innovation and modernization, and ensure operational resiliency amidst our changing climate,” Austin, a former Raytheon board member, said in a statement.
According toResponsible Statecraft, more than half of the budget will likely go to defense contractors, with Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon getting the biggest chunk.
We may be looking at $1 trillion in defense spending for the first time ever—this is madness.
The budget includes $170 billion for weapons procurement and $145 billion for the research and development of new arms. “We may be looking at $1 trillion in defense spending for the first time ever—this is madness,” Responsible Statecraft writes.

Central Bank Digital Currency is the most comprehensive, far-reaching, authoritarian social control mechanism ever devised. Its “interoperability” will enable the CBDCs issued by various national central banks to be networked to form one, centralised global CBDC surveillance and control system.
Should we allow it to prevail, CBDC will deliver the global governance of humanity into the hands of the bankers.
CBDC is unlike any kind of “money” with which we are familiar. It is programmable and “smart contracts” can be written into its code to control the terms and conditions of the transaction.
Policy decisions and broader policy agendas, restricting our lives as desired, can be enforced using CBDC without any need of legislation. Democratic accountability, already a farcical concept, will become literally meaningless.
US and German media sought to turn the Nord Stream sabotage attacks into an open-and-shut whodunit detective novel this week by laying the blame at the feet of a “pro-Ukrainian group” with no links to any state. This information contradicts reporting by veteran journalist Seymour Hersh, who fingered the US and Norwegian militaries for the crime.
His performance was a disgrace. He had the most important journalistic job of his and our lifetimes and he blew it.
I watched what I thought was a serious journalist blow the first night of the supposed big J6 tape release. But I couldn’t help noticing that he picked stuff we already knew — and he was WEAK.
Where was the video of fed provocateurs and violence coordinators?
Capitol Police flash bang and rubber bullet/baton attacks on an unarmed citizen crowd?
The deceptions about the barricades?
The beatings of unarmed women and lots of unarmed men, and one, Roseann Boyland, who died?
What was so hard about demonstrating to the public that the J6 was a Reichstag Fire scam?
Sure, he said the J6 committee lied, but he pulled his punches even on the opening night and from there the week went downhill fast and he purposely got weaker and weaker. Before the week was done, he opened his show about the International Women’s Day award? He didn’t care — he was just going through the motions.
Tucker is a well-paid and talented person but his affection for his job made him a yellow belly coward just like the FBI/DOJ/deep state automatons who do what they are told. Tucker has access to the Capitol Police brutality, the FBI and dog provocateurs, and he shows us the shaman again–and the week is empty of the important stuff that Jim Hoft discusses here. I would add that Hoft could modify his criticism to say that Tucker didn’t just screw up on Monday–he screwed up the rest of the week.
His performance was a disgrace. He had the most important journalistic job of his and our lifetimes and he blew it. He will continue to blow it and McCarthy won’t release the videos to the general public — this will be a deep state win.
The tragedy is the police state judicial gulag Stalinesque situation we now see solidifying with a growing list of political prisoners convicted by a Kafkaesque judicial system supervised by evil hack judges.
Tucker has had 4 nights to put this stuff up and he pussyfoots around the video trove like he doesn’t want to offend the Democrats or the FBI/DOJ/Capitol Police by showing the Reichstag Fire scenario that was created. He is on a short Murdoch leash.
Now he has slow walked this and the people who watched and waited for him to do a good job can shake their heads–Tucker and the Fox Network are afraid of the deep state and the power of the socialist/Democrat oligarchy.
House Republicans led by Judiciary Committee chair Jim Jordan of Ohio are reportedly “building” a case against former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci, according to a breaking report on Friday.
“So, specifically before your committee, and also before Rand Paul over in the Senate, Dr. Fauci has, of course, absolved himself of all funding of gain-of-function,” conservative podcaster Benny Johnson said in an interview with Jordan. “He said he doesn’t know anything about it. It is verifiable and demonstrable that he lied. Now, there are codes in Congress. I have a code right here, 18 U.S. Code 1001.”
“Statements — false statements to Congress,” Johnson noted. “Says you can be imprisoned, says you can be imprisoned for eight years if you lie to Congress. It seems like there has never been a more clear-cut case of some individual lying to Congress.”
“Yeah, we can do — there could be a referral, but you would refer to the Biden Justice Department,” Jordan responded. “I don’t know that — they’re going to pursue that, but you can definitely do that. You could, have to have one of the committees, the Senate Judiciary Committee could do a referral. I doubt they will with the Democrats in charge.”
“We could do a referral potentially,” the Ohio Republican continued. “I would, frankly, prefer just to have Dr. Fauci come back in and take another round of questions here, but we’re building the case. You know, like, we had Dr. Redfield testify last week, Chairman Wenstrup did. I thought he was — I thought he was great. As were the other witnesses that were brought in.”
🚨BREAKING: Rep. @Jim_Jordan on Dr. Fauci’s lies before Congress: "We’re building the case" for criminal referrals.
“So, again, laying that foundation,” he continued. “I do think Dr. Fauci and the CDC changed the definition of gain-of-function research, so that Fauci has, like, this wiggle room, but they were juicing up this virus, no doubt about it, juicing up this virus, making it more — I don’t know the technical, but making it juiced up and more deadly, I guess, maybe the correct word.”
“Yes,” Johnson responded.
“So, they were doing that in this lab and I think that’s clear,” Jordan said. “So, we’ll just have to see as we move through this investigation.”
Paul issued a brutal statement to Fauci, formerly the country’s lead immunologist, as he was set to retire in December. Fauci, who declared that he had no regrets about how he handled the pandemic was asked in an interview if there was anything he would do differently regarding the COVID-19 outbreak.
“I’m the first to admit I’m far from perfect, but when you say do over, you know, I really can’t see something that I would do completely over,” Fauci said.
That response did not sit well with Paul, a Republican from Kentucky.
“Likely there is no public figure, or public health figure, that has made a greater error in judgment than Dr. Fauci. The error in judgment was to fund gain-of-function research in a totalitarian country — fund research that allowed them to create super viruses that, in all likelihood, accidentally leaked into the public and caused seven million people to die,” said Paul, who frequently clashed with Fauci during Senate oversight hearings into Fauci’s responses and recommendations regarding the pandemic.
Paul accused Fauci of lying to Congress in December 2021 and said he would be referring that case to the Biden Justice Department.
In an interview with Fox Business, Paul admitted he does not “have a lot of hope” that Fauci is going to be charged by President Biden’s attorney general, Merrick Garland, who he said likely is not going to be “objectively looking” at the chief White House medical adviser’s congressional testimony.
“We’ve referred him to the Department of Justice, but then again, Merrick Garland is the one now going after parents that go to school board meetings,” Paul said.
“So I don’t have a lot of hope that Merrick Garland is objectively looking at Fauci’s lying,” Paul continued, followed by a pointed 12-word statement about the NIAID director: “Fauci should go to prison for five years for lying to Congress.”
(WHO) has assumed the role of an advisory entity in the international health domain. Since 2005, the WHO established International Health Regulations (IHR) as the main compliance tool to ensure that public health emergencies would be handled swiftly. The COVID pandemic perfectly illustrates how powerful the WHO already is.
However, a new set of amendments (pdf) proposed by state members of the WHO was published at the end of 2022, seeking to enhance the WHO’s power under the guise of the IHR. This, in addition to a newly proposed Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB) (pdf) and the addition of a pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response (WHO CA+) clause (pdf) in the INB, raises several red flags on the paradigm shift the WHO is undertaking, from playing the role of an international health advisory body to becoming a global regime acting in the name of health.
From Patient-Doctor Relationship to Powerful Health Conglomerate
Throughout history, people have relied on connections with friends, family, and neighbors to maintain a healthy social life. This is important not only for wellness but also for building the trust upon which the foundation of relationships lies. Just as it is vital in relationships with family and friends, in regard to health, trust is vital in patient-doctor relationships.
Doctors across many countries and diverse regions have a plethora of different methods to treat something as simple as a cold. Some may give you a flu shot, some may prescribe you some minor medication, and some might even tell you to drink hot soup and get lots of rest. There may also be an unfamiliar remedy from Latin America or Southeast Asia that works just as well as something you could pick up in a U.S. pharmacy. This is all to say that well-trained doctors know what they’re doing given the methods available to them.
The one-on-one patient-doctor relationship has traditionally been the tried-and-true way to establish a health system in any society. Even under evidence-based medicine, advice from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), or other health agencies serves as nonbinding recommendations to doctors that give them the right to make their own decisions based on their knowledge of the patient.
People make their own final health-related decisions; hence, doctors need consent from their patients for treatment or surgeries. The trust people give to their doctors is sacred and demands that doctors practice medicine grounded in ethics and based on genuine medical knowledge, skills, and experience—all things that most doctors still have.
Notwithstanding what has been the norm for generations, the advancement of modern medicine and biotechnology has made the fields of health and medicine huge industries. As a result, the quality of health care has become increasingly dependent on the allocation of resources and distribution of wealth.
Big Pharma, powerful health agencies, and dominant health insurance enterprises are all intertwined, forming a tremendous conglomerate of power. In the name of protecting the people, this manifestation of power has reached an unprecedented level, which was on full display during the pandemic in the form of lockdowns, mandates, the rush of drugs and vaccines, insurance policies determining diagnosis, etc.
WHO: A Global Regime in the Name of Health?
Then we have international organizations like the WHO with a role many people deem too arbitrary to consider an eminent element in their life. It was created within the United Nations and historically played a coordinating role in global health issues and resources, in helping with public health threats like polio, AIDS, and COVID. However, its latest proposed reform raises a serious concern over whether the WHO is turning into a global quasi-regime.
The newest changes the WHO is facing are amendments to the International Health Regulations agreement. The World Health Assembly first adopted the IHR in 1969 to cover six diseases and it has since been revised several times. A fully updated version was implemented in 2005 after China’s SARS outbreak in 2003, after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) refused to maintain transparency during the outbreak. This 2005 edition of the IHR is now facing stark changes.
The IHR demands WHO nations detect, assess, report, and respond appropriately in regard to public health emergencies that can spread on an international scale. During the COVID-19 pandemic, especially during its onset, China demonstrated an aptitude for disinformation and a lack of transparency toward the international community with regard to sharing data, allowing a probe into the origins of the virus, and issues involving the most recent unprecedented spike of infections and death after the country lifted its zero-COVID restrictions.
Not unrelated to these international incidences, the WHO has published a number of amendments to the IHR that will strengthen the WHO’s power considerably pertaining to global health emergencies. For example, the WHO will have the power to act upon potential rather than actual emergencies, and allow the director-general of the WHO control over the production of medication that may be allocated as he or she deems fit.
One concern is that the WHO will have the authority to override health measure decisions made by individual nations and grant the organization the capacity to censor what it considers misinformation and disinformation, should the amendments be adopted. This is a serious threat to the sovereignty of every WHO member.
Another startling change was the removal of “respect for the dignity, human rights, and fundamental freedoms of persons” in Article 3 of the IHR, replaced with the terms “equity” and “inclusivity.”
At the same time, the WHO’s new amendments change the advisory nature of the IHR to that of law, meaning that the organization will hold just as much power—if not more—compared with a governing body with legally binding jurisdiction and enforcement capabilities.
The aforementioned changes, and many more, are troubling because the amendments are vague in nature and leave much room for interpretation. For example, the amendments do not specify the amount of funding countries need to contribute, which could lead to an escalation of corruption in underdeveloped countries.
A Global Health Certificate System With Multiple Risks
During the pandemic, there have been a number of health certificate systems set up across some parts of North America, Europe, and other countries, yet none was as pervasive and heavily enforced as the health QR-code system in China. Throughout China’s three years of extreme zero-COVID measures, the color of a code on your phone decided whether you were allowed to leave the community grounds, eat in restaurants, or even be admitted to a hospital to give birth.
The QR-code system was able to track your movement and used an algorithm to determine if you were considered at risk of being infected. If you were at risk, your code would turn yellow and authorities would send you to a quarantine camp at your own expense. This QR-code system was also attached to your personal bank account so that your mandatory quarantine in a hotel could be paid for before you arrived.
Implemented by a regime that has little regard for human rights, codes were allegedly turned yellow or even red (indicating infection) for citizens who complained about the strict pandemic measures. Such an invasive system has immense potential to abolish privacy and self-determination, forcing residents to live under an Orwellian regime.
The superficial intent of the health certificate system is benign, yet it could be a convenient tool for driving the establishment of an overarching global government. It could be an integral component in achieving a globalist agenda without requiring support from the masses.
Health certificates are not the only thing the WHO wishes to add to the world government. The agency also demands an International Negotiating Body (INB) with the power of pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response incorporated into its duties.
The INB Might Be Another Excuse for Control
Citing the “catastrophic failure of the international community in showing solidarity and equity in response to the … pandemic” in its preamble, the zero draft for the INB initiated in 2022 and revised as of February 2023 calls for an international organization with authority exceeding some, if not most, governments across the world that is able to act in response to the next global health emergency.
At the same time, the INB also includes the “One Health” initiative, currently a five-year plan aimed at tackling zoonotic epidemics around the world. It can be interpreted that the INB would be the acting arm of the WHO “superpower,” while the IHR would provide the legal basis for the arbitrary government. Funding for these measures, as proposed, would come from the world bank.
While the WHO prepares to ballon its power with these amendments, one question begs an answer: Were people satisfied with how the organization handled the pandemic? Global public opinion seems to be divided on this topic. While European and North American developed nations seem to be supportive of the WHO’s efforts, some Asian countries such as Japan and South Korea are voicing their dissatisfaction.
Public opinion regarding how well the WHO handled the COVID-19 pandemic seems to vary among nations. (The Epoch Times)
Meanwhile, the policies the WHO is trying to enact are also sources of potent social tension and division. Many seem to be divided between enacting a private health passport and a government-operated health passport that can be used as proof of vaccination or for similar causes.
When asked about their stance on vaccine passports, 1,315 Americans were divided between deeming passports issued by the government and ones issued by private entities as acceptable. (The Epoch Times)
Like any good government with checks and balances, doesn’t the WHO also need an objective post-COVID evaluation before the amendments are adopted? This brings up the issues of what kind of supervising entity the WHO falls under, and whether legal mechanisms exist so the WHO can be held accountable should it fail to handle a critical public health crisis. These issues need to be addressed before any changes are adopted.
Therefore, one of the most pressing issues here might be the WHO’s lack of transparency and proposed accountability measures. The language used in the amendment document is extremely vague and leaves much room for interpretation. At the same time, there seems to be a concerning lack of checks and balances within the proposed new order.
All 194 nations in the WHO are set to vote on the amendments and finalize the new INB by May 2024, which could bring sweeping changes to the livelihood of generations to come. Have people been well-informed and educated about these changes? Shouldn’t there be more public and open debates for more transparency to show what is coming if the amendments are adopted? Why is the mainstream media not picking up on this?
