There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
George Soros, who disguises his cash through a chain of various foundations, before he gives it to Southern Baptist and other evangelical institutions…
Pulpit & Pen has been exposing George Soros’ funding and partnership of Russell Moore and James Riady’s funding of Ligon Duncan. In reality, both Soros and Duncan have been funding numerous groups and speakers who are represented at the The Gospel Coalition, Together for the Gospel, and the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission. However, much of their funding is “Dark Money,” contributions that come not directly from Soros or Riady, but from a series of “foundations” (sometimes the cash goes through nearly a dozen foundations before it reaches places like SBTS, TGC, the ERLC or RTS).
Watch this incredible video which helps demonstrate how the cash-flow from Globalist-Marxist forces is used to “rent” evangelicals to push their agenda.
Please keep in mind that Jim Wallis is a political ally of Russell Moore, with the two regularly appearing together at partnering together on the Soros-Funded Evangelical Immigration Table.
The money is dark, but we intend to keep shedding light on it.
The messages from T4G are already posted on the T4G website. All the plenary sessions and the panels posted in order below. Lig Duncan’s is one you’ll want to listen to, so I featured it above.
Spent the first hour going over developments over the past few days, including discussions of the Washington Rally with the National Council of Churches, the MLK50 Conference, Martin Luther King’s own professed theology, Thabiti Anyabwile’s imputation of guilt to our grandparents, and finally Kyle J. Howard’s public statement that he would not feel “safe” meeting with me alone “as a black man.” Then we opened the phones with all sorts of calls—none of which were on the topic of the first hour!
The Truly Confused Evangelicals – Eric Barger – Part 3
Too often believers reject unfavorable news about pastors or teachers they are personally endeared to. Instead of consumers reevaluating their positions and coming to grips with biblically-based data, a continued blind acceptance of error is often the result.
Illustrating with a clip excerpted from “The New, Truly Confused Evangelicals” DVD set, Barger asks, “Can we ever separate Jesus from the Bible?” The answer is NO, but this deceptive, liberal, postmodern error is taught – and insisted on – by popular Atlanta pastor to over 20,000, Andy Stanley.
The Truly Confused Evangelicals – Eric Barger – Part 4
As the culture around us quickly declines, Christianity has its own set of resident anarchists determined to overthrow biblical truth with a new unholy reformation. The research is disturbing and the conclusions shocking to those uninformed but the fact remains – evangelicalism is in desperate trouble.
The Truly Confused Evangelicals – Eric Barger – Part 5
In part five of the series, Eric Barger details the ongoing theological collapse of modern evangelicalism underway around us. He documents the disturbing trends resulting in belief becoming secondary while and the actions and activities of men becomes primary in the Church. After gathering considerable data and communicating with many victims of the “new”evangelicalism, Eric Barger simply notes that according to the law of physics where a void exists something must fill it. Now, as alarming numbers abandon the long-held mission of the Church, the cry of “social justice” is now trumpeted from many once-conservative pulpits. But where are the calls for biblical evangelism, repentance, and holiness heard not long ago?
The Truly Confused Evangelicals – Eric Barger – Part 6
This segment examines two tragic elements of confused Evangelical thinking as both Universalism and Mysticism have become a staple in postmodern thought.
For many decades once-faithful Christian leaders, denominations, and seminaries have been moving further and further from Scripture to adopt what they view as only “positive” attributes of the faith – while discounting or completely ignoring what they deem as unseemly. Seeking only a God of love while ignoring the equal attribute of His justice, the perverse view of universal inclusion now reigns as the politically correct, more charitable stance on eternity but completely betrays the overall teaching of Scripture.
The Truly Confused Evangelicals – Eric Barger – Part 7
In this final episode of the series, Eric illustrates that “Kingdom Now” or dominionist eschatology rules in many postmodern circles – while an orthodox outlook on Bible Prophecy is often mocked.
Aided by the “gurus” of Church Growth, young pastors have been led to believe that Bible prophecy must be avoided. Passages such as Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13, let alone several large sections of the Epistles and the entire book of Revelation must be allegorized but that matters little to those intent on bringing about a suitable Postmodern remake of Christianity.
As this series comes to a close, Eric provides a list of points that every concerned Christian should be aware of in combating the unbiblical elements of the growing Emergent/Postmodern movement in our churches. He warns that the current wholesale theft of the faith will continue unless Bible-believers become knowledgeable and bold in communicating with those taken captive.
In part one of this new series Eric Barger exposes what is nothing short of a wholesale, end-time abandonment of the Bible – all in the name of “Evangelicalism.”
Carefully detailing the players, methods, and beliefs, Eric explains how this sweeping Postmodern-Emergent redefinition has led to the rejection of the orthodox doctrines that have defined Christianity for the past twenty centuries.

As the culture around us quickly declines, Christianity has its own set of resident anarchists determined to overthrow biblical truth with a new unholy reformation. The research is disturbing and the conclusions shocking to those uninformed but the fact remains – evangelicalism is in desperate trouble.
This 4th episode in the series is titled “Resisting and Combating” and make no mistake why. We are witness to an ongoing wholesale redefinition of Christianity made to fit the Postmodern paradigm – but these two worlds can never coexist without compromise. Eric asks, “Can there honestly be any such thing as “Postmodern Christianity?” Answer: Not if the Bible is still our guide!
Eric concludes with a list of issues for concerned Bible-believers to watch out for that may indicate the postmodern mindset is at work in their midst.

Red Grace media has published Unpopular The Movie, and it’s wonderful. This half hour movie is Christ-centric, accurate, clear, and presents the Gospel in a devastatingly biblical way. When you hear/read the Gospel, unvarnished and with open ears and open eyes, it singes the heart and devastates the soul. It is incendiary. Even as a long-saved person, it will try your emotions, and bring you low. We ALL need The Gospel.
Here, Emilio Ramos, Dr James White, and Paul Washer quietly discuss The Gospel. The background music is unobtrusive, the setting is thoughtful, and the presentation of the Gospel is accurate and beautiful. The movie is as much for the saints as it is an evangelism tool for the unsaved. Here is Red Grace Media’s synopsis:Unpopular The Movie is a Evangelism resource for the church. Unpopular is a gospel presentation by Emilio Ramos, Dr James White of Aomin.org, and Paul Washer from Heart Cry Missionary Society. Unpopular is meant to serve as a tool to evangelize non-Christians with the gospel of Jesus Christ. To stay up to date visit http://www.unpopularthemovie.com
Mr Ramos said,
We live in a culture that glorifies sin. That trivializes sin, that makes sin less heinous than it is. It is very deceptive to look at sin in a way that makes sense to us. If we see ourselves in the way that the culture tells us to see ourselves, then man can remedy his condition through technique. But if we see ourselves the way the Bible tells us we really are, then the only remedy for our sin is the work of the Savior.
This is good. Watch it!
Sin, repentance, the cross…are the most upsetting and controversial doctrines on the entire earth. They are presented here, along with God’s love and mercy.
Listen and watch for yourself. We all need the Gospel, all the time. Let its truth and the majesty of a holy and righteous God who accepts sinners into His family through His slain and resurrected Son, Jesus. Then share.

Can random mutation and natural selection create new functional information?
The video is here:
I have read and listened and watched a lot of material on intelligent design, but I have never seen so much value packed into such a short lecture. I really hope you’ll watch this and that it’s helpful to you.
Summary:
the big question when discussing the origin of life: where did the information in living systems come from?
Until 530 million years ago, the oceans were largely devoid of life
In a 10 million year period, many new forms of animal life emerged
New biological forms of life require new information
the discovery of DNA shows that living systems work because cells have information that allows them to build the components of molecular machines: cell types, proteins, etc.
can random mutation and natural selection create new functional information?
normally, random mutations tend to degrade the functionality of…
