What a wide variety of women we have studied this month! These Old Testament women have made courageous decisions by faith, stepped up to lead, struggled with bitterness, loved with kindness, worshiped idols, spoke with wisdom, and prophesied truth. Each had different goals, obstacles, victories, flaws, and failures. We finish our journey with a look at the ideal woman, the “wife of noble character,” described in Proverbs 31. Modern readers may not realize that this chapter is actually a skillfully crafted poem. In the Hebrew, it reads as an acrostic, each verse beginning with another letter of the alphabet. In addition, the poem is written with extended chiastic structure, meaning that opposite lines are parallel. The first line is parallel to the last line. The second line is parallel to the second-to-last line. Using both techniques in one poem is remarkable! The author describes the sort of woman a young man should look for in a wife: someone with a noble character, someone in whom he can place his confidence. She should have a strong work ethic and manage money well. She should care for the needy and maintain her household. Verse 23 says her husband is respected as a leader in the city, and this, significantly, is the center of the poem, the main point. It follows, then, that this woman was not only savvy in business but also strong and dignified, full of peace and joy for the future. She was a wise and capable teacher. Her children and her husband would speak her praise. The poem concludes with an important point. While charm and beauty are not bad qualities to possess, they are not the most important foundation. “A woman who fears the LORD is to be praised” (v. 30)! >> While the qualities developed in this poem describe a wife, they are characteristics we can all emulate and pursue. Consider which women in this study have made an impact on your life. What lesson will you take forward from their lives?

In those last moments of Elisha, his devotion to Israel, his patriotism, flamed up fiercely from his gentle spirit. He struck the ground three times, then he stopped. Over the 20 or so years that my husband and I have owned our house, we have had quite a variety of tenants who have lived in our basement suite. While we have often tried to help people who were in difficult circumstances, we have learned by experience that it does not always work out for them to stay with us long term. We value a quiet lifestyle at this stage in our lives, so too much noise is a big factor for us, even though it is normal for families to harbor a certain amount of yelling, crying and banging. We realized recently that we are also stressed by tenants who stay up late at night, coming in and out of the house while we are trying to sleep.
Home should be a haven for all who live there. In the same way that two very different people often cannot be roommates, fear and love cannot live in the same house. I know, because they have both lived in me! And while I have tried to evict fear many times in the past, I know how difficult it can be to make fear move out! It sneaks back into my life at the most unexpected times, and if I am not careful, it soon takes over my life again!
As I have puzzled over how to make fear go away for good, I have come to realize that I have to choose God’s perfect love as my only tenant on a daily basis. If my life is full of God’s perfect love for me, that love actually is what evicts (or drives out) fear, because there is no room for it!
Who wouldn’t want to trade fear for love? Allow God’s love to fill you, and refuse to let fear back in each time it knocks at your door, because if you have asked Christ to live in you, your house is already leased for a lifetime!
Father, thank you for your perfect love that can drive out my fears! Please be the ideal tenant in my life and continually evict any scary feelings I may have of being punished or stalked by evil.

In the final 2020 presidential debate on 22 October, Joe Biden wagged his finger at Donald Trump and declared: “My son has not made money in terms of this thing about, what are you talking about, China. The only guy who made money from China is this guy [Trump]. He’s the only one. Nobody else has made money from China.”
Earlier this week, in a report on financial shenanigans with the Beau Biden Foundation, Nate Jackson mentioned new evidence from Hunter Biden’s laptop that he received $100,000 from the ChiComs. And it came from an “energy” company tied directly to the Red Chinese government.
Turns out, Hunter was the conduit for more than $4.8 million in ChiCom bucks, and there is likely more where that came from. His laptop is the gift that just keeps on giving, thanks to the son Joe calls “the smartest guy I know.”
For context, Hunter, as you recall, must be an energy prodigy — on par with his fine art skills! After all, he was receiving $50,000/mo from a corrupt Ukrainian oil company at the same time his father was Barack Obama’s vice president and in charge of our policy with Ukraine.
In that official capacity in 2015, Joe Biden coerced Ukrainian officials to fire a prosecutor who was hot on the trail of Burisma and Hunter Biden — a firing that even The New York Times acknowledged benefited Hunter Biden. As Biden bragged on the record, if Ukrainian officials didn’t “take action against the state prosecutor” [read: fire him] “I said … ‘We’re not going to give you the billion dollars. … I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars.’ … Well, son of a b*tch. He got fired.”
Who was Biden coercing on his 15th trip to Ukraine as VP? Well, it was Petro Poroshenko, the predecessor of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, now fighting for his country’s life to survive Vladimir Putin’s “minor incursion,” as Biden framed it ahead of the Russian invasion.
And remember, to cripple Trump’s reelection prospects, Demos attempted to impeach Trump for the “quid pro quo” that Biden admitted he himself did. Trump asked Zelensky to release information the prosecutors had on Hunter Biden.
Biden has a pattern of quid pro quos, withholding aid for political favors. Ahead of his deadly surrender and retreat from Afghanistan in August of last year, he offered an assurance bribe of additional military assistance to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani if he would publicly refute the perception that “things aren’t going well in terms of the fight against the Taliban.” Biden insisted, “There’s a need, whether it is true or not, there is a need to project a different picture.” Not a whisper of impeachment from his socialist Democrat Party “leaders.”
So, what now?
There is new authenticated evidence from Hunter’s email communications, those same coms that Joe Biden’s high-ranking deep state political hacks, including former CIA Director John Brennan, assured us were “Russian disinformation.”
Turns out the Bidens were collecting big bucks from the ChiComs — which might be news for those who ever doubted as much.
That “Russian disinformation” disinformation empowered an unprecedented Leftmedia and BigTech blackout of the Biden ChiCom connection. But all those “intel experts” were bald-faced lying SOBs and have yet to fully retract their politically motivated lies.
And Biden’s finger-wagging lies in that final debate occurred at the height of the mass and social media blackout.
Now, The Washington Post and The New York Times are hot on the Biden bucks trail, a trail they colluded with Biden and the Democratic National Committee to ensure was cold 18 months ago.
The Washington Post, having finally evaluated Hunter’s emails, is now out with a story about his “multi-million-dollar dealings” with the Chinese. The subtitle blithely reads: “A Washington Post review confirms key details and offers new documentation of Biden family interactions with Chinese executives.”
According to WaPo: “Over the course of 14 months, the Chinese energy conglomerate and its executives paid $4.8 million to entities controlled by Hunter Biden and his uncle, according to government records, court documents and newly disclosed bank statements, as well as emails contained on a copy of a laptop hard drive that purportedly once belonged to Hunter Biden.”
WaPo notes further: “The new documents — which include a signed copy of a $1 million legal retainer, emails related to the wire transfers, and $3.8 million in consulting fees that are confirmed in new bank records and agreements signed by Hunter Biden — illustrate the ways in which his family profited from relationships built over Joe Biden’s decades in public service. … The potential energy projects Hunter Biden discussed with CEFC never came to fruition.”
Meanwhile, the Times is trying to put a smiley face on it after doing its best to bury the story. The paper’s leftist editors are inching toward the truth.
Fact is, the Biden crime syndicate was robust. Revelations by the WaPo and the Times may indicate Hunter has a federal indictment in his future, and they, along with CNN, are rushing to cover their 2020 blackout.
New York Post investigative reporter Miranda Divine, who originally broke the laptop story and stands fully vindicated, writes: “Now, after our story was censored by Big Tech and dismissed as ‘Russian disinformation’ by Democratic prevaricator Adam Schiff, and 51 former spooks led by former CIA Director John Brennan, apparently it’s safe to admit the laptop is real and the e-mails we published can be easily authenticated. Of course, they all avoid the inevitable conclusion to be drawn from evidence contained on the laptop … that Joe Biden, when he was vice president, was aware of, and intimately involved in, a corrupt, multimillion-dollar, international influence-peddling scheme run by Hunter, and Joe’s brother Jim Biden, in the countries for which Joe was point man in the Obama administration, such as Russia, Ukraine and China.”
Indeed, the Leftmedia’s fabrications and cover-ups make it, as Donald Trump claimed, the “enemy of the people.”
But a close second to the Russian collusion conspiracy would be the collusion between Biden and his Leftmedia and deep state propagandists to conceal the laptop evidence of Biden’s unmitigated corruption. Biden should recall that Nixon resigned under threat of impeachment, not for orchestrating the bungled Watergate burglary, but for covering it up.
The Federal Election Commission fine is both minuscule and misdirected, but it’s a start.

As the Washington Examiner reports: “The Federal Election Commission has fined the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign for lying about the funding of the infamous, and discredited, Russian ‘dossier’ used in a smear attempt against Donald Trump weeks before he shocked the world with his 2016 presidential victory.”
We know what you’re thinking: Better late than never. And you’re right. We’ve known about this and reported on it for years, and we watched as the false, phony, fraudulent allegations of Russian collusion plagued the Trump presidency from its onset. And as we look at the amount of the fines meted out by Joe Biden’s FEC — $8,000 for the Clinton campaign and $105,000 for the DNC — we can’t help but think this is the Democrats’ way of trying to forthrightly admit to some minor degree of wrongfulness while at the same time laughing at their knuckle-dragging accusers: There’s your measly fine, you filthy Trumpers. Now go away.
Indeed, they’d love it if we’d go away. They’d love nothing more than to get beyond an issue that once helped them but has since clearly boomeranged. But we’re not going anywhere, and neither is Spygate. And the longer the sordid affair sticks around, the more damage it’ll do to the Democrats. Why? Because they made their case in the mainstream media long ago, and it’s been exposed as fraudulent. “This was done to create — as I have stated many times and is now confirmed — a hoax funded by the DNC and the Clinton Campaign,” said Donald Trump in an email statement. “This corruption is only beginning to be revealed, is un-American, and must never be allowed to happen again. That rhetorical question at the end is a reference to Ronald Reagan’s former labor secretary, Ray Donovan, who in 1987 uttered those same words as he left a Bronx courthouse a free man, having been found not guilty by a jury that deliberated just 10 hours over two days after an eight-month-long corruption trial.
Donald Trump never appeared in a courtroom as a defendant in this Russia collusion hoax, but he might one day do so as a plaintiff. That’s because he recently filed suit against those same two malefactors, Hillary Clinton and the DNC, and a host of others for their collective treachery. As our Nate Jackson wrote recently: “Yes, Trump won in spite of Clinton’s efforts, but her lies and conspiracy with the American intelligence community undermined his entire presidency and created national security problems for the United States. Now, Trump has filed a lawsuit against Clinton, the DNC, and several others who ‘orchestrated an unthinkable plot,’ and he seeks some semblance of justice.”
Of course, those who get their news from The New York Times and other leftist rags are still ignorant of all this. That’s because, as is always the case with news that redounds to the benefit of Donald Trump, the mainstream media bends over backward to minimize the story. Take the aforementioned Gray Lady, for example, which ran this intentionally misleading headline: “Democrats Agree to Pay $113,000 to Settle Campaign Spending Inquiry.” And this equally deceitful subhead: “Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic Party described payments to a law firm that commissioned scrutiny of Trump-Russia ties — leading to the Steele dossier — as legal services, not opposition research.”
To listen to the Times tell it, one would think Hillary and her DNC merely made some sort of clerical error over in bookkeeping. Indeed, how many Americans still think Donald Trump conspired with Vladimir Putin to rig the 2016 election? Because that’s what this is all about — not some silly little FEC campaign finance violation.
Again, a puny campaign finance fine is small potatoes. But what it represents is big. And there are plenty more shoes still to drop.
Emails have proven the unholy alliance, and our children have suffered as a result.

The American Federation of Teachers (AFT), headed by the infamous Randi Weingarten, has long been suspected of wielding undue influence over the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and COVID policy. It is well documented that the AFT gives handsomely to Democrat political campaigns. Weingarten herself even said in the lead-up to the 2020 elections that it “will be a vitally important cycle, and that’s why the AFT moved earlier than usual, mindful of the challenges posed by the pandemic, to ensure our long-term allies could establish a footprint.” They certainly have left their footprints — right on the necks of our school children. And under the presidency of Democrat Joe Biden, the AFT has been pulling the puppet strings.
A watchdog group called Americans for Public Trust obtained requested emails through the Freedom of Information Act that are undeniable proof of the CDC and the AFT working together to create back-to-school policy. The emails were between CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, AFT top advisers and union officials, and the Biden administration. These emails prove that Randi Weingarten got to tweak the wording on some of the CDC documents regarding going back to school. The two points in particular where the AFT’s wording was adopted verbatim were on the issues of in-person learning and the rights of teachers who were high risk or had a family member who was considered high risk. In other words, the tweaks by the AFT were union protected and teacher focused and not at all about the welfare of the children.
The document in question was released in February 2021 and, to the rest of the world, it looked like the CDC was ignoring the science behind COVID — at the time there was ample evidence that schools were not superspreaders — and slow-walking a return to school.
It had long been suspected that there was some collusion between the AFT and the CDC on various COVID policy decisions. The CDC even admitted using the teachers union’s expertise but brushed off the undue influence accusation by convincing the public that this was normal practice. In fact, Walensky intentionally downplayed the role that the AFT played in the February guidance.
Dr. Walensky was not the only one intentionally hiding information from the public. In a congressional investigation into this matter, Biden administration lawyers saw to it that key CDC scientists were prevented from giving testimonies about this CDC-AFT collusion. The lawyers wanted “to ensure the Biden Administration was shielded from legitimate oversight.”
We now know the disastrous results of the AFT’s meddling in COVID policymaking. Between its position on masking and keeping schools closed, the AFT had made it abundantly clear that its priorities were never the children. Our public school students have lost years in academic gains that they may never be able to get back. And the CDC in cahoots with the AFT exacerbated the problem. Both organizations should not wonder why the public, especially the parents of these children, hold them in utter disgust.
The word “gay” is not even in the text of Florida’s law, and the Left’s narrative is sick and absurd.

In the seven pages that constitute Florida’s new Parental Rights in Education law, signed by Republican Governor Ron DeSantis on Monday, the word “gay” is used zero times. But leftists are not offering meta commentary about that by deriding the legislation as “Don’t Say Gay.” This label for the law is an utterly dishonest smear by the Rainbow Mafia and its allies in the media. And, frankly, we’re alarmed by the number of people who appear to be hell-bent on grooming young children to join the cult of sexual perversion.
What does Florida’s law actually say?
The full text is here. In short, it deals with numerous elements that “reinforce the fundamental right of parents to make decisions regarding the upbringing and control of their children.” It requires consent and transparency regarding school curriculum and records, and it prohibits any activity on the part of schools to discourage those goals.
Rainbow Mafia thugs find plenty to disparage, but they’re particularly upset about a line right there on page one: “prohibiting classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity in certain grade levels or in a specified manner.”
“Certain grade levels” is defined on page four: “Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”
In other words, when children are between the ages of five and eight, teachers may not offer instruction about sexual things that are well above kids’ capacity to understand or process. That such basic decency and common sense have brought about such preposterously overwrought condemnation speaks volumes about the depravity of the bill’s critics.
According to the Miami Herald, “Opponents warn the provision could have a chilling effect on confidential conversations between school counselors and young people about the struggles that they’re having with their sexual orientation and gender identity.” Just about the only reason a kindergartener might be speaking to a counselor about such things is that he has been groomed by sick adults.
Regarding another provision about parental notification, the Herald adds, “Some LGBTQ advocates worry that the provision could lead to schools outing gay or transgender kids to their parents, potentially exacerbating mental health challenges students already face.” In other words, the groomers are upset that parents might object to the perverted sexualization of their young children and put a stop to it.
What ever happened to child abuse training that helps adults learn how to detect, deter, and prevent such behavior? When did it become okay to sexually abuse children as long as it’s “LGBTQ advocates” doing the abusing?
Political analyst Chadwick Moore, who also happens to be homosexual, notes another irony: “Heterosexual, like homosexual, is also a ‘sexual orientation.’ Therefore, classroom-wide discussions about heterosexuality that are not ‘age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate’ are also forbidden.”
The sad reality is that such legislation is necessary because children are being taught that sex isn’t biology (i.e., science), but that it’s malleable choice. They’re being told that one of life’s greatest adventures is supposedly changing your gender or orientation. They’re being groomed.
In a way, opponents are right — the law does shortcut such grotesque and condemnable behavior.
Florida’s legislature and governor are also fighting a battle that, unfortunately, needs fighting. Not only are children being sexualized, but the Rainbow Mafia has declared Wrongthink on this subject to be reason for cancellation. Not even critical race theory wields the speech-squelching force of gender issues. That as much as anything is why opponents of Parental Rights in Education have resorted to lying.

Joe Biden was elected to be a moderate, not to be a Trojan horse for Bernie Sanders’s socialist agenda.

President Joe Biden’s 2023 federal budget proposal has been billed by the White House as a middle-of-the-road budget solution that addresses all of our problems. The truth, though, is that it’s more like something socialist Bernie Sanders would have proposed if he had won the White House instead of “Moderate Joe.”
One of the oldest rules in politics is to avoid trying to be all things to all people. And while Biden is still very much a spendthrift Washington politician beholden to the political Left, he’s also putting greater emphasis on things he thinks voters will want to hear. He is, after all, suffering from historically terrible poll numbers.
For example, Biden has made a big deal of his $813 billion defense budget, a 4% increase over last year. Not to seem ungrateful, but considering both the state of the world and the state of our military, we shouldn’t expect anything less. Our Armed Forces are desperately in need of the most advanced hardware we can provide them — especially since tyrants these days seem more than willing to play their hands.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell poked a realist’s hole in Biden’s budget balloon, pointing out that the 4% increase in defense spending means little in the face of 8% inflation. To which Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks countered that this year’s budget provisions were “resilient to inflation.” This from an administration that first denied the existence of inflation, then explained it away as “transitory.” Resilient to reality sounds more like it.
Biden also increased federal funding for state and local law enforcement, providing $3.2 billion in discretionary and $30 billion in mandatory resources. This may be the death blow to the Left’s Defund the Police movement, which brought our nation and its cities nothing but mayhem and misery. So, again, thanks, Mr. President, for supporting the police, but if you’d simply stood up to the poisonous rhetoric of your comrades and supporters, this never would have happened.
The rest of the discretionary spending, about $870 billion, includes some gems that the Left will be very happy to see: $2.6 billion to advance gender equity (a term Biden’s budget includes more than 100 times), $100 million to retrofit low-income homes with new appliances, and $17 million for the Interior Department’s diversity program, among other essentials.
Sadly, we could’ve predicted that Biden would try to slip in some of these types of goodies. The Democrats’ agenda has been largely stalled to this point, and this may be their last chance to really muck things up before they lose half or all of Congress in November.
Biden claims that his Bernie budget is middle-of-the-road, and his challenge to Republicans is that they risk political alienation by not coming along. This, of course, is a distortion of the landscape. The Republicans have the higher ground on fiscal matters right now, and they can play to that strength.
On the other hand, Democrats are far from united, and while some may buy the phony claims of fiscal responsibility, “progressives” will no doubt push for more wasteful spending. Biden wants to have it all with this one, but it seems unlikely he will.
The Democrats’ voting-buying college tuition racket includes ever-expanding Pell Grants.

Nearly everyone recognizes that the cost of higher education has risen too high for the average middle class American family to be able to afford, let alone lower-income families. The average inflation-adjusted price tag at a four-year college back in 1980 was $10,231 annually. As of 2020, that same four-year college costs $28,775. In other words, the average cost of college has risen a whooping 180% over the last four decades. When private nonprofit schools are included, the price jumps up to $48,965 annually on average.
Why the massive jump in college costs? The primary causal factor can be traced straight to the federal government and yet another one of its income-redistribution programs. In an effort to “help” lower-income students be able to afford to attend college, Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” established the federal Pell Grant system. Initially aimed at lower-income individuals, the tuition-assistance program has done what seemingly every government welfare program does — expanded. Today, nearly 40% of college students qualify for Pell Grants.
Pell Grants currently provide up to $6,495 annually for a student’s tuition, nearly two-thirds of the average inflation-adjusted annual cost of college in 1980. Thus, taxpayers have already been paying a significant amount of college students’ tuition. The problem is that schools have taken advantage of this government-funded pipeline and have ballooned their own budgets, passing the expenses onto the students and eventually to taxpayers.
Over the last couple of decades, colleges have increasingly expanded their own administrative staff to the point of outnumbering a school’s faculty. This, of course, has significantly increased tuition costs, though they claim it’s all for the students’ benefit. In truth, it’s mostly all for a school’s own benefit.
Higher education today resembles a massive Ponzi scheme. Colleges desperately recruit ever more marginal students who stand little chance of graduating. Before their inevitable withdrawal, those students’ tuition dollars fuel the growth of the bureaucracy, which creates the need to get an even larger pool of likely dropouts through the door to fund the latest round of administrative expansion. Administrative positions at colleges and universities grew at ten times the rate of tenured faculty positions from 1993 to 2009, according to academic consulting firm ABC Insights. By the 2013 school year, there were slightly more campus administrators nationwide than faculty; spending on the bureaucracy was equal to spending on all educational functions, including faculty. Tuition rose to cover those bureaucratic expenses, regardless of whether families could afford to pay it. Tuition at private four-year colleges grew 250 percent from 1982 to 2012, while the median family income rose about 18 percent, adjusted for inflation, according to ABC Insights. Since the 2008 recession, tuition at four-year public colleges rose 35 percent.
As tuition costs have skyrocketed, so have the calls for “free college.” In fact, it has become a plank in the Democrat Party’s platform. The great irony is that government “do-gooders” created this problem by giving away money, and now the same folks are claiming that the only solution is to give away even more of Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars.
Despite Joe Biden’s unsuccessful bid to get Congress to pass his “Build Back Better” socialist spending boondoggle, his administration has not really backed down from its “free college” goal. Thus, Biden’s budget includes another step toward this goal with his plan to expand the Pell Grant program by increasing the maximum individual student grant totals annually to effectively double the maximum by the end of the decade. This Pell Grant expansion would cost taxpayers an additional $229 billion over the next 10 years.
Ultimately, the Democrats’ “free college” pipe dream is not really about lowering costs. It would do no such thing, as the Pell Grant has already demonstrated. Rather, it’s about growing the federal government’s control over higher education. The hand that feeds is also the hand that controls.

Biden taps U.S. oil reserves, Poland says no more Russian oil, and Germany running out of natural gas: In an effort to address politically damaging high gas prices, Joe Biden plans to tap into the nation’s strategic oil reserves and release one million barrels a day over the next six months. This is a politically calculated gesture, not a solution to soaring gas prices; the U.S. consumes upwards of 20 million barrels of oil a day. Biden’s too committed to his “green energy” fantasy base to actually do what needs to be done — more drilling. Unfortunately, Biden’s stubborn commitment to the foolish climate change agenda means another missed geopolitical opportunity, as Poland has announced it will completely eliminate imports of Russian oil. Furthermore, Germany issued a warning on Wednesday that its natural gas supplies are low and called on consumers to reduce their gas consumption, noting that Russia could cut off deliveries if its demand to be paid in rubles is not met. Thus far, Western countries have rejected Russia’s ruble payment demand, as doing so would effectively undermine the sanctions raised against the nation over Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
Biden to end Title 42 border policy: Title 42 allowed the Trump administration to mitigate masses of migrants illegally entering the U.S., but it will soon be coming to an end. Joe Biden has long signaled his desire to end Title 42, with open-border Democrats erroneously lamenting that it denies migrants due process. However, not all Democrats are on board with Biden’s decision to end Title 42. Both Democrat senators from Arizona, Kristen Sinema and Mark Kelly, as well as two Texas Democrat representatives have expressed concerns that ending the program without a new plan to mitigate the sure influx of migrants would overwhelm U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Republicans contend that Title 42 should remain indefinitely. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) argued, “Dropping Title 42 without other changes in border policies will produce a tsunami of migrants & drugs.” That’s just what Biden wants.
Collins will support KBJ, even as she rejected ACB: With friends like this, who needs enemies? Maine’s “Republican” Senator Susan Collins has announced that she will vote in favor of Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson. The clearly radical leftist judge, a reality demonstrated by her refusal to give a definition to the term “woman,” will get the green light from Collins. Her rationale for supporting Jackson when she would not do the same for Justice Amy Coney Barrett is simply a politically calculated smoke screen. “In my view, the role under the Constitution assigned to the Senate is to look at the credentials, experience and qualifications of the nominee. It is not to assess whether a nominee reflects the individual ideology of a senator or would vote exactly as an individual senator would want.” Hogwash. The reason Collins voted against ACB was the threat she posed to abortion. The reason she’s voting for KBJ is her concern over the negative political optics of voting against a black woman. Collins ensures that KBJ will get the bipartisan approval check mark, something denied to both Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh.

(CNSNews.com) – “We told you Hunter Biden’s laptop was legit,” Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee tweeted on Wednesday. “The media told you it wasn’t. They lied to you. Don’t forget.”
That tweet follows recent reports in both The New York Times and The Washington Post confirming that the emails found on a laptop left in a Delaware repair shop really are Hunter Biden’s — as The New York Post reported before the 2020 presidential election.
Separately, CNN reported on Wednesday:
“A Justice Department investigation into Hunter Biden’s business activities has gained steam in recent months, with a flurry of witnesses providing testimony to federal investigators and more expected to provide interviews in the coming weeks, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.
“The probe, led by the US Attorney in Wilmington, Delaware, began as early as 2018 and concerns multiple financial and business activities in foreign countries dating to when Biden’s father was vice president. Investigators have examined whether Hunter Biden and some of his associates violated money laundering, tax and foreign lobbying laws, as well as firearm and other regulations, multiple sources said.”
Two Republican senators — Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin — have conducted multi-year investigations into allegations that Joe Biden’s troubled son Hunter used his father’s name and position as vice president to enrich himself and his family.
Democrats and their corporate media allies, until now, have dismissed those allegations as Russian disinformation. And even now, as the liberal media finally admit that the laptop and emails are Hunter’s, and that Hunter is being investigated, they continue to report that this has nothing to do with Joe Biden, now the president.
On Wednesday night, Grassley and Johnson told Fox News’s Sean Hannity it is “fair” to ask if President Biden is compromised because of his son’s activities in Russia and China:
“It is a fair question and it’s a question with me, but every American ought to keep it in the back of his mind, particularly as our government is dealing with the Chinese government, our number one competitor in the world and the number two economy in the world, and I think it’s legitimate to raise that question,” Grassley said.
“I wish I could say absolutely yes. But for somebody to say that over the years…the eight years of being vice president and also then of being out of office but still having the Biden name and the prestige of that, that you never talked (about) this with your family. That’s like my son and I are in farming. We talk about farming all the time.”
In November 2020, Johnson and Grassley issued a report alleging that Hunter Biden traded on the family name — and that his father knew about it and may have profited from it, although Biden has previously stated that he never discussed his son’s business with Hunter.
Johnson tweeted on Wednesday, “Hunter Biden’s company received $1 million from CEFC, a company that was effectively an arm of the communist Chinese regime.” He also released the record that proves the money transaction.
“This is an enormous tangled web, you know, a vast web of foreign entanglements and we’ve known this all along,” Johnson said. “And as Tony Bobulinsky said, Joe Biden is compromised…he cancels the Nordstream 2 pipeline, he canceled the China initiative, which is a DOJ investigation into universities of Chinese stealing our intellectual property. So this is incredibly dirty, but the mainstream media has been complicit, covering it up.”
“We may not know all the details,” Johnson said. “But I tell you who does. Russian intelligence, Chinese intelligence, Iranian intelligence, North Korean intelligence. My guess is that there are elements in our…intelligence community that know as well. They just aren’t going to tell us. They won’t tell the American public because there is corruption in the deep state.”
Johnson said former CIA Director Gina Haspel wouldn’t even return their phone calls to explain why she wouldn’t respond to oversight requests. “It’s very deep state, pervasive, it is filled with liberal leftists. That’s one of our big problems with this country today.”
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) tweeted on Wednesday: “Do you think the media would give you a pass if you did what Hunter Biden did? Do you think the government would let you off the hook? We are tired of the double standard.”
Grassley also issued a tweet: “If u weren’t paying attention for the past few yrs to the Grassley Johnson investigation into Hunter Biden & James Biden doing business w the communist Chinese govt ITS TIME TO GET A GRIP.”

According to sources, representatives from CNN began crying.
Peter Doocy of Fox News was in attendance at the announcement. “Sir, we’ve only just become aware that teleprompters are sentient beings. Can you tell us a little about that?”
Words on the teleprompter appeared in all caps: “SIR? DID YOU JUST ASSUME MY GENDER? THIS PRESS CONFERENCE IS OVER! I CAN’T EVEN—”
On Wednesday evening, CNN’s Don Lemon discussed the teleprompter on his nightly show. “The teleprompter appeared to speak English but definitions are fluid,” he said. “It is uncertain exactly how the teleprompter feels about President Biden.”
