There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
Our call is to minister the Gospel (good news) of the Kingdom of God.
Scripture
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.” — 1 Peter 2:9-10 (NKJV)
Reflection
In 1517, Martin Luther challenged the Church of the day to a debate on 95 issues (thesis). The net result was what we now know as the Reformation and what we now understand as the doctrine of justification by faith.
There was another doctrine which is not as well understood, and that is the priesthood of all believers. In its most simple form, this means we pray directly to — and are in relationship with — God, without the need of another human to act on our behalf. It also means we are all called to be ministers (priests) — that is, one who can bring the truth of the Gospel of the Kingdom to other people.
The Gospel, at its core, is the message that we can all come into the family of God. We are not just saved but also born again into the body of Christ, i.e., the family of God. This is awesome news! (see John 3)
As we ramp up to the 2000th birthday of the Ekklesia (church) on Pentecost 2033 and have the global goal of everyone (all 8+ billion on the planet) hearing this good news at least once, we know this will only happen as all of us — not just big-name ministries, or organisations — are activated as ministers of the Gospel.
This is YOUR calling; you are a minister of the Gospel of the Kingdom!
It is time that we all rise up and simply tell our story. We are all witnesses to the whole world (Acts 1:8). A witness is one who gives evidence. Our story is our evidence.
How do we do this together? Prayer, Mission, and Generations. See here.
Prayer. Let’s pray together as family and seek to hear our Father’s heartbeat.
Mission. Let’s proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom and also do the works of faith.
Generations. Fatherlessness and destruction of the family is a curse and a major root cause of the issues plaguing the world today. The Good News is that people can be restored into God’s family.

Prayer
Papa God, we are Your family. Let us know Your heart and Your family, then let us go and invite others into Your family by proclaiming the good news of Your Kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Let us bring Glory back to You as we lift Your name to a lost and dying world.
Amen.

Earlier this year, my oldest daughter graduated from high school. To her mom and me, it seems like moments ago that we welcomed her into the world! Where did the time go? But growing up is inevitable. It would be strange indeed if our daughter had remained a cute baby all these years. It would be even more strange if the believers reading Peter’s letter stayed spiritually immature indefinitely. He exhorts them to “grow up in your salvation” (v. 2). They were to begin “growing up” by ridding themselves of malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander (v. 1). These vices showed a notable lack of love and truth. When we’re “born again” (1:23), it’s logical to picture us as “newborn babies.” Spiritual growth begins with “spiritual milk,” that is, we begin to digest easier truths and practices. As we consume this nourishment, we grow, mature, and become capable learning more (1 Cor. 3:1–2). Once we’ve “tasted that the Lord is good” or “experienced the Lord’s kindness” (v. 3, quoted from Ps. 34:8), we want more of Him! It’s like asking for a sample of an ice cream flavor and realizing that what you really want is a double-dipped cone of it. Commentators note that the word “spiritual” (logikos) in verse 2 is a play on words with “word” (logos), pointing to Scripture as the source of spiritual nourishment and growth. All of this should follow our salvation—notice the word “therefore” in verse one. Because of what Christ did, and because God guarantees our eternal inheritance, and because our hope is sure, we should aim as children of God to grow up in our faith. We have no need to worry about failing, because the results are already safe in His hands. >> Are you growing in the faith? Do you crave solid food? One way to encourage growth is to spend regular time reading God’s Word (like you are doing in these devotionals). As you read and learn, you will want more!
37 “Everything that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I certainly will not cast out. 38 “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 “And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that of everything that He has given Me I will lose nothing, but will raise it up on the last day. 40 “For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” 41 So then the Jews were complaining about Him because He said, “I am the bread that came down out of heaven.” 42 And they were saying, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does He now say, ‘I have come down out of heaven’?” 43 Jesus answered and said to them, “Stop complaining among yourselves. 44 “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.
45 “It is written in the Prophets: ‘AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.
46 “Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father.
47 “Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who believes has eternal life. (John 6:37-47 / NASB20)

We also believe that Christian Worship is to be regulated and defined by God’s Word, the Bible.
Our worship services are designed to please and honor the Triune God of the Bible. We place Scripture reading and the preaching of the word of God at the center of worship along with Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. These are God’s gifts to His church and ought to always be at the center of Christian worship. We are a congregation that loves to sing God’s praises, recite His Word back to Him, and actively engage in hearing and learning from God’s Word.
We embrace and promote a comprehensive Christian world and life view.
There is no area of life which is not under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is to God and His law which all people, including governments and civil rulers, will answer. The Word of God embraces and informs the way we view marriage, the family, children, education, politics, worship, law, government, war, the church, missions, evangelism, and worship. In the world today there is a battle of opposing worldviews. There are basically only two positions: God’s Word and man’s ideas. We stand positively for Biblical truth and negatively against man’s ideas which are opposed to Biblical truth.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for mankind.
Because all men fall short of obeying God’s law, all men everywhere are in need of divine grace and salvation from God. This salvation is found only in the Lord Jesus Christ who died for sinners, was buried, rose again, and is alive today seated at God the Father’s right hand.
We Worship God Together as Families.
We offer nursery during morning worship service for newborns and infants but encourage people to keep as many of their children as they can with them for morning worship. The audio of the service is in the nursery via speakers. There is also a crying room with a video screen and audio of the sermon. We offer Sunday school classes for all ages but worship together as families. We do not offer “children’s” church. Children need to be in morning worship as soon as possible so they can learn how to participate as active worshipers of God which includes the singing of His praises and listening actively to sermons.
“Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.” (Romans 8:34)
A Challenge and a Shield! – Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon Sermon
Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the “Prince of Preachers.” In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon’s which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon’s College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.
No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11)
Many pleasing things the Lord may withhold but “no good thing.” He is the best judge of what is good for us. Some things are assuredly good, and these we may have for the asking through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Holiness is a good thing, and this He will work in us freely. Victory over evil tendencies, strong tempers, and evil habits He will gladly grant, and we ought not to remain without it.
Full assurance He will bestow, and near communion with Himself, and access into all truth, and boldness with prevalence at the mercy seat. If we have not these, it is from want of faith to receive and not from any unwillingness of God to give. A calm, a heavenly frame, great patience, and fervent love—all these will He give to holy diligence.
But note well that we must “walk uprightly.” There must be no cross purposes and crooked dealings; no hypocrisy nor deceit. If we walk foully God cannot give us favors, for that would be a premium upon sin. The way of uprightness is the way of heavenly wealth-wealth so large as to include every good thing.
What a promise to plead in prayer! Let us get to our knees.
Then the Lord said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation. 2 You shall take with you seven each of every clean animal, a male and his female; two each of animals that are unclean, a male and his female; 3 also seven each of birds of the air, male and female, to keep [a]the species alive on the face of all the earth. 4 For after seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and I will destroy from the face of the earth all living things that I have made.” 5 And Noah did according to all that the Lord commanded him. 6 Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters were on the earth.
7 So Noah, with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, went into the ark because of the waters of the flood. 8 Of clean animals, of animals that are unclean, of birds, and of everything that creeps on the earth, 9 two by two they went into the ark to Noah, male and female, as God had commanded Noah. 10 And it came to pass after seven days that the waters of the flood were on the earth. 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12 And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.
13 On the very same day Noah and Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark— 14 they and every beast after its kind, all cattle after their kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort.
15 And they went into the ark to Noah, two by two, of all flesh in which is the breath of life. 16 So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the Lord shut him in.

9 These are [the records of] the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, *blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God. 10 And Noah fathered three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. 11 Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for *humanity had corrupted its way upon the earth. 13 Then God said to Noah, “The end of *humanity has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of *people; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth. 14 “Make for yourself an ark of *gopher wood; you shall make the ark with compartments, and *cover it inside and out with pitch. 15 “This is how you shall make it: the length of the ark [shall be] *three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.” (Genesis 6:9-22)

“In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.” Ephesians 3:12
I came to a place in my relationship with God when, for the first time, I felt I was able to openly talk to Him. I shared my heart, my pain, my sin… anything and everything. I didn’t hold back.
That day marked something very special because it meant that my relationship with God had changed into something I desperately needed — and something He desired. It was a freedom I thought I would never experience. My perception had always been that I could not approach God easily because of my sin. Once I began to understand His unconditional love for me, my perception changed. I couldn’t help but want to be close to Him.
In John 15:15, Jesus says,
“I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.”
The enemy would like nothing more than to keep us from an intimate relationship with Jesus, because that is what we were created for. He’d love to keep us from realizing that our worth as God’s children allow us to fulfill our true purpose: knowing Him.
When we know the love God has for us, we can become connected to Him in such a way that we don’t feel ashamed for Him to know us for who we truly are. We can freely go to Him. In truth, He already knows us… but He’s been waiting for us to desire Him also, so we may know Him and all He has for us.
I love you God… with my whole heart! I love you and desire to know you more intimately. Thank you for loving me and that I can come to you with anything that’s on my heart and my mind. Amen.
“If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.” Psalm 130:3-4
Who does not make mistakes?
Early in my career as a new hire, my supervisor required all the trainees to follow a strict set of standards.
During the review of our work, he jagged his finger at our errors and highlighted them with his red marking pen. Even with nothing said, I still heard a snarl amid the strokes of his red pen.
It seemed he documented our mistakes in his logbook for posterity. The blunder log—as we employees called it—added to the pressure we already carried. Preventing any slip- ups was more critical to our supervisor than our growth and success.
Our supervisor had no clue that his constant badgering about every little thing annoyed the team and everyone around him. He hurt morale and caused so much tension and disruption.
“… And God stepped in,” as the saying goes. A new department opened up. I got a notice to pack my bags and get ready to move. My new supervisor never tallied the mistakes in a logbook. It was as different as night and day. He encouraged the team when things did not go as planned.
My new supervisor had a profound impact on me over the years. I modeled myself after him in some ways to guide and hopefully inspire my children, friends, and colleagues. He led with compassion and understanding, putting mistakes aside and giving us another opportunity to do better.
God does not tally our blunders in his logbook or entangle us in shame. He encourages us, offers a new beginning, and promises to remember our sins no more, always taking an interest in the vocation he calls us to fulfill.
We can thank our Savior for not keeping a logbook of our mistakes and for the safe place in him that allows us to grow from our mistakes without fear.
Lord, you know my blunders—every single one of them. Thank you for putting them aside and giving me another opportunity to do better. I am grateful for your grace and encouragement. Amen.
Let us look for opportunities to bless those around us by not keeping a log of their mistakes and encouraging them instead.
Solar storm set for ‘direct hit’ with earth amid ominous NASA warning about what’s to come The debris from an explosion on the sun could be headed towards earth. It comes as NASA recently issued an ominous warning that ‘an upswing in space weather will impact our lives and technology on Earth, as well as astronauts in space’. A massive solar storm could make a ‘direct hit’ with earth in the coming days. Space weather experts say a 200,000-km long magnetic filament in the sun erupted on Tuesday, hurling part of itself into space. The debris from the explosion could be headed towards earth, with fears it could graze the earth’s magnetic field on Saturday.

‘Witchcraft Is No Longer Evil’: Deeply Disturbing Reality Purportedly at Center of ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ Many Christian parents are understandably cautious about “Hocus Pocus 2,” That’s understandable, considering the occultic themes prevalent throughout the film. While many use unfounded claims from the satanic panic era to dismiss worries about evil and the occult, the Bible is clear that these practices — witchcraft, tarot, fortune-telling — are very real and are to be avoided at all costs. Sadly, we’re also seeing reports of massive increases in requests for exorcism, and warnings from pastors about these practices.

A Tactical Russian Nuke Wouldn’t Confer Much Battlefield Advantage, Experts Say referred to as “tactical” nuclear weapons, which technically refers to the delivery system but also speaks to their likely use as part of a conventional conflict rather than to deter one. U.S. inventories of these peaked in 1967 and fell afterward, especially when the Cold War ended. The online tool NukeMap suggests that a 20-kiloton attack on Kyiv would kill more than 31,000 people and injure another 65,000 within 24 hours. Even those numbers may be a big underestimation.

However, MacArthur’s strongest words were reserved for the governor’s recent billboard campaign that used Scripture to promote California’s permissive abortion laws.

QUOTES OF THE WEEK
Lack of Self-Awareness Award “[Joe Biden] pardoned all prior federal offenses of simple marijuana possession. He has asked [HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra] and the Attorney General to review how marijuana is scheduled under federal law. This is a step forward in correcting the historical injustices of failed drug policies.” —Vice President Kamala Harris, who put nearly 2,000 marijuana offenders behind bars as California attorney general Non Compos Mentis Awards “There are areas in the Twin Cities, in Minneapolis, where it is easier to buy a gun than a fresh apple.” —Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey “So, it’s a lot more nuanced than that.” —White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre when asked: “You said the president was responsible for gas prices coming down. Is the president responsible for gas prices going up?” “I’m heading to Puerto Rico because they haven’t been taken very good care of.” —President Joe Biden “I was sort of raised in the Puerto Rican community at home, politically.” —Joe Biden Hot Air “What [Ron DeSantis] has done is pretty remarkable so far. … The biggest thing the governor has done and so many others have done — they’ve recognized there’s a thing called global warming.” —Joe Biden Yellow Journalism “DeSantis has been a critic of Biden on nearly every policy front. But he sure does like the president’s wallet. Over the past two years, DeSantis’ admin received billions in federal relief cash, which the governor has used to fund his top priorities.” —Politico Theater of the Absurd “It is our lowest-income communities and our communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions. We have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity.” —Kamala Harris “We have a shortage of workers in our country, and you see even in Florida some of the farmers and the growers saying, ’Why are you shipping these immigrants up north? We need them to pick the crops down here.’” —House Speaker Nancy Pelosi The BIG Lie “I don’t think we can assume that just because race is taken into account that that necessarily creates an equal protection problem. … The framers themselves adopted the equal protection clause, the 14th Amendment, the 15th Amendment, in a race-conscious way. … I don’t think that the historical record establishes that the founders believed that race neutrality or race blindness was required.” —Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson

If you do business on PayPal, just a slight word of warning that the company is becoming, you know, basically a Communist China-style policer of speech:
“So basically Biden is saying that domestic producers are more evil than Venezuela’s Nicholas Maduro.”
This morning, it appears the Biden administration is doubling down on that as Fox Business reports that the Biden administration is nearing a decision on the future of federal offshore fossil fuel drilling and hasn’t ruled out a complete block on new leases.
On Thursday, the 90-day comment period for the Department of the Interior’s (DOI) proposed five-year offshore leasing plan ended, paving the way for the agency to issue a final decision.
V-safe is a voluntary safety monitoring program put in place by the CDC to monitor adverse reactions after people take a vaccine. The v-safe data shows that 33.1% of the people who got the vaccine suffered from a significant adverse event and 7.7% had to seek professional medical care. These are extraordinary numbers. They clearly show the vaccines are unsafe, that the CDC deliberately hid this information from the American public, and that the drug companies falsified the data in the trials.
But now, thanks to the efforts of an extraordinary attorney, Aaron Siri, the numbers are available to the public for the first time.
This data clearly shows that the CDC is not protecting the American people. They are protecting the manufacturers of the vaccines.
The mainstream media is ignoring this story. So is the mainstream medical community. None of them want the American people to know the truth about how unsafe these vaccines are.
