House Oversight Chairman James Comer on Thursday said he expects to uncover $20-$30 million in illicit payments made to the Biden Crime Family.
“If this is all true about a sitting president – when he was vice president – influence peddling, accepting money from foreign nationals so that he could turn around and make changes in policy for America so he could pocket the money. If that’s true, why isn’t he impeached already?” Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo asked Comer. “And if it’s true that the FBI is doing nothing about it, why isn’t [FBI Director] Christopher Wray on his heels as well?”
Comer described the FBI as “an organization in disarray.”
“This is going to be hard to Biden to explain, this is not going to go away, and I think eventually the mainstream media is going to start asking the real questions,” Comer said.
“What number are you up to now? How much have you identified of the money he’s [Biden] taken in from foreign nationals?” Bartiromo asked.
Comer replied, “We have more bank records coming in but we’re gonna exceed $10 million this week but I think we’ll get up to $20-$30 million.”

This is textbook money laundering and influence peddling.
GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene last week emerged from the SCIF and revealed explosive information about the Biden bribery document.
The Ukraine-Biden-bribery evidence was first presented to the FBI by a trusted, highly credible, well paid informant back in 2017.
Meanwhile Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden enjoyed a highly lucrative position as a board member of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas company.
According to MTG, the bribery allegations involve Mykola Zlochevsky, the Ukrainian oligarch who hired Hunter Biden to serve on the board of Burisma Holdings.
“He [Burisma owner] paid $5 million to one Biden and he paid $5 million to another Biden and it was all a bribery to get Shokin fired and end the investigation into Burisma,” MTG said.
According to Marjorie Taylor Greene, the informant said the Burisma owner claimed to have two pieces of evidence showing proof of payment to Hunter and specifically Joe Biden.
Senator Grassley on Monday revealed the Ukrainian foreign national in the Biden-Burisma bribe scheme has 17 audio recordings of Joe and Hunter Biden he kept as an “insurance policy.”

A new report published Thursday by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention finds that in 2020, 18.4% of US adults reported having ever been diagnosed with depression in their lifetimes – but, state by state, that percentage of adults ranged from an estimated 12.7% in Hawaii to 27.5% in West Virginia.

This “early-onset cancer epidemic,” as one recent study published in Nature Reviews Clinical Oncology dubbed it, comprises a surge in the incidence of over a dozen different cancers in younger people since the 1990s in countries around the world.
In the U.S., the rate of early-onset cases rose by almost 18 percent between 2000 and 2019, even as cancer declined slightly in older adults, according to data from the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Among Americans between 15 and 39 years old, an age group cancer researchers refer to as adolescents and young adults (AYAs), the surge was more pronounced still, topping 20 percent.

The former president was booked and fingerprinted after Joe Biden sent his DOJ prosecutors to take out his main political rival.
Fox News Tuesday evening slammed Joe Biden while airing Trump’s Bedminster speech as a “wannabe dictator.”
Tucker Carlson addressed the Fox News chyron.
“On Tuesday afternoon, the Biden administration had Donald Trump arrested. It was a pretty big news story. You may have seen it just before 09:00 p.m. That night. As part of its coverage, Fox News ran two live video feeds next to one another. On the right, Donald Trump addressed his supporters in New Jersey. On the left, Joe Biden spoke at an event for the Secretary General of NATO in Washington. Beneath those videos, at the bottom of the screen, Fox’s banner read this way quote wannabe dictator speaks at the White House after having his political rival arrested. Those words were up for less than 30 seconds, but the effect was immediate,” Tucker said.
“Inside Fox, the women who run the network panicked. First, they scolded the producer who put the banner on the screen. Less than 24 hours after that, he resigned. He’d been at Fox for more than a decade. He was considered one of the most capable people in the building. He offered to stay for the customary two weeks, but Fox told him to clear out his desk and leave immediately. Then the company issued a public apology for the 27 2nd long wannabe dictator line,” Tucker added.
“Wannabe dictator speaks at the White House after having his political rival arrested.” – the Fox News chyron read.
Fox News immediately took down the chyron and apologized for criticizing the dictator they helped install after they called Arizona for Joe Biden before the polls closed on election night in 2020.

“Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work. Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together.””
Although God has His pulpit in heaven, He has His servants on earth.
It’s clear from Scripture that in the mystery and kindness of His purposes, God has determined to use our feeble voices to enable others to hear His voice. By the power of the Holy Spirit, our words about His word further His plans and change people’s lives and futures.
The question, then, is this: Are we stepping forward into this privilege, or are we holding back from it? Following His encounter with the woman at the well, Jesus encouraged His disciples to open their eyes and “see that the fields are white for harvest.” If we, like the disciples, look up to see the harvest before us, then we too must proclaim the word of Christ, declaring with urgency and joy that “there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
Saying this takes courage and confidence. The gospel message runs completely counter to the prevailing worldviews. It is the prime enemy of much contemporary thought. Claims for final truth in Jesus are not simply ignored; they are opposed. Our confidence, however, rests in the fact that the gospel message was given to us by God. We did not invent it and we must not modify it. Instead, “all authority in heaven and on earth” is Christ’s, and He has commanded us to “go … and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18-19).
Yet while we need confidence in our message, we also need compassion in our tone. Jesus came as a humble servant. He rode into town on a lowly donkey and spoke with gentleness and humility. When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion, because He saw them as sheep without a shepherd (Matthew 9:36). And by the enabling power of His Holy Spirit, we can demonstrate the same care as we recall that we too were once “foolish, disobedient,” and “led astray” before Christ sought us out and transformed us (Titus 3:3).
Difficult days have perhaps created an increased willingness in the hearts of those around you to talk about what weighs them down, what concerns them about the brokenness in our world. Uncertain times must move you and me to be ready to seize the opportunity to proclaim to our family and friends “Jesus Christ and him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2), confident that the Spirit of God can use our efforts for eternal gain. Be bold. Be loving. Be active. Be prayerful. For only in Jesus can darkness be turned to light. Only in Jesus is there a fresh start and a whole new future.

Shine as Many Stars | VCY America
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. (Daniel 12:3)
Here is something to wake me up. This is worth living for. To be wise is a noble thing in itself: in this place it refers to a divine wisdom which only the Lord Himself can bestow. Oh, to know myself, my God, my Savior! May I be so divinely taught that I may carry into practice heavenly truth and live in the light of it! Is my life a wise one? Am I seeking that which I ought to seek? Am I living as I shall wish I had lived when I come to die? Only such wisdom can secure for me eternal brightness as of yonder sunlit skies.
To be a winner of souls is a glorious attainment. I had need to be wise if I am to turn even one to righteousness; much more if I am to turn many, Oh, for the knowledge of God, of men, of the Word, and of Christ, which will enable me to convert my fellowmen and to convert large numbers of them! I would give myself to this, and never rest till I accomplish it. This will be better than winning stars at court. This will make me a star, a shining star, a star shining forever and ever; yea, more, it will make me shine as many stars. My soul, arouse thyself. Lord, quicken me!

Meditate on the mercy of the Lord.
It is tender mercy. With His gentle, loving touch, He heals broken hearts and wraps up wounds. He is not only gracious in what He provides, but also in the gracious manner He provides it.
It is great mercy. There is nothing little about God, and His mercy is like Himself: infinite. You can’t measure it. His mercy is so great that it forgives even the most terrible sins to the most terrible sinners, and then proceeds to give great favors and great privileges. His mercy raises gives us great enjoyments in the great heaven of the great God.
It is undeserved mercy, as indeed all true mercy must be. Deserved mercy is only another name for justice, and we who are sinners have no right to the kind consideration of the Most High. As rebels, who were once doomed to the eternal fire we deserve, it is the sovereign love of God alone which saves us, for we have no such power ourselves.
It is rich mercy. God’s mercy is medicine to your sagging spirits; a golden ointment to your bleeding wounds; a heavenly bandage to your broken bones; a royal chariot for your weary feet.
It is diverse mercy. As Paul Bunyan said, “All the flowers in God’s garden are double.” There is no single mercy. You may think you have only one mercy, but you will find God’s mercy is multifaceted, reflecting and shining His glory.
It is plentiful mercy. Billions have received it, yet it is far from being exhausted. It is as fresh, as full, and as free as it has ever been.
And finally it is unfailing mercy. It will never leave you. If mercy is your friend, mercy will be with you in temptation. It will be with you in times of trouble to prevent you from sinking, with you to be the light and life of your life, and with you even in imminent death, to be the joy of your soul when earthly comfort is fading fast.
Question: As you meditate on how God has shown mercy to you, to whom that you know can you demonstrate mercy today in response?

What Scars Reveal | Daily Devotionals by Thoughts about God
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
I looked at the healing scar. Once hideous, it was now a very long and perfectly straight diagonal line, quite different from its initial appearance. Although the doctor seemed to feel a bit sorry that the scar ended up so long, it did not bother me then because it was a reminder of God’s grace to me during that time. It continues to be so today.
That reminder pushes me to serve God continuously. I want to give my all to someone who not only gave his all for me on the cross but also continues to keep on giving. We have a God that continues to care for us in spite of our sin. Such love should draw us to him!
Perhaps you have important scars too. Scars that marked a time in your life when your health was failing or when a sudden accident occurred. Perhaps your scars are not physical like mine are, but emotional. You have memories of difficult moments in the past that have shaped your life.
These scars are meant to draw us closer to the Lord, not further from Him. They shape us into better servants for his kingdom. When God’s grace is extended to us in the form of healing, we are able to reflect on who we are and what we can become as his sons and daughters. We have a God that continues to care for us in spite of our scarred past. Doesn’t that make the scars beautiful?
Dear Lord, please give me the strength to know how to serve you each day and follow through with it by making the most of the time you have graciously given to me. Let the trials in my life remind me of your goodness. Amen.

Flag Day and the New State Religion
Government “pride” displays arguably represent an “establishment of religion” because the gender movement has become a cult.

Yesterday was Flag Day, an annual occasion to celebrate Old Glory, the Star and Stripes under which men and women of every color and creed have served and for which many have paid the ultimate price. The American flag holds deep and profound meaning for millions of us, and we’re eternally grateful that it still stands for Liberty and justice for all.
That’s why we’re so outraged at how Democrats treat our flag nowadays. Perhaps their apparent contempt for Liberty and anything but two-tiered justice is why they treat it so poorly.
Joe Biden and his party use flags as political agenda rags. For example, Biden orders flags at half-mast every time there’s a politically expedient mass murder, though it is disgraceful to use the flag as emotional manipulation for pushing violations of our Second Amendment rights.
Worse, the display of pride flags from government facilities arguably represents an unconstitutional “establishment of religion.” Doubt that? Replace any of those pride flags at the White House or State Department facilities with a Christian flag and see what happens. Doubt that pride is a cult? Try speaking against the groomers who recruit new disciples in schools.
This past weekend, Biden hosted a pride celebration that predictably devolved into utter debauchery when a social media influencer decided to bear his surgically implanted female breasts on the White House lawn strip club. He supposedly won’t receive any more White House invites, and the administration condemned behavior that “is not reflective of the event,” but it was exactly reflective of the prideful and hyper-sexualized movement Biden and crew were ostentatiously celebrating.
Ask the drag queens Biden and Co. think should be performing in schools.
During that event, two American flags were hung between columns at the White House, and they flanked the new “progress pride flag” — the garish eyesore of a banner that features the typical rainbow and additional colors, from the “transgender” pastels to black and brown to represent only some skin colors and also AIDS victims. It was designed five years ago by a guy who uses “xe/xym” pronouns and calls himself a “queer non-binary celestial object having a human experience.”
Whatever dude.
Many folks argued that Biden’s White House display was a violation of the law. According to U.S. Flag Code §7 (e), “The flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and displayed from staffs.”
Biden supporters claim “from staffs” is the operative phrase, and they note there was a U.S. flag flying atop the White House. Yet there’s no question the president and his prideful staffers violated the spirit of the law — and spat in the face of veterans and their families — all in service to the gender cult.
“The administration was proud, again, to display the pride flag,” said Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, whose only apparent qualification for the post she holds is that she’s a black lesbian represented by that pride flag. She added that she was “certainly not going to get into protocols” regarding the legality of the display.
By contrast, the House, led by Speaker Kevin McCarthy, honored Flag Day by hanging three American flags between its columns.
The Senate, under Chuck Schumer, was not so patriotic. No flags were displayed outside the Senate side of Congress. Likewise, most of the flags were gone from the White House on Flag Day.
Back to the idea of establishing religion. Yes, the First Amendment begins with some key words — “Congress shall make no law.” Displaying flags at the White House wasn’t based on a law passed by Congress, so no harm, no foul, right?
Not if you compare it to other displays or behavior the Supreme Court has ruled constitute unconstitutionally establishing religion.
We’re not trying to build an ironclad legal case here. We’re just making the argument that the Rainbow Mafia is the vanguard of a cult, and hanging this group’s insignia from government buildings is a bad idea.
The U.S. flag represents our nation and every citizen under its jurisdiction. Pride flags represent maybe 7% of the population and probably considerably less, all based on behavior or orientation. Even if you agree with the Left’s insistence that it’s about identity, not behavior, this is still a tiny minority, and that justification wouldn’t fly in virtually any other circumstance.
The only reason pride flags fly on government buildings is that leftists are religiously devoted to dividing Americans rather than uniting us under our national banner.

It’s always being refashioned, it’s an aesthetic disaster, it’s inscrutable, and it’s a banner concerned with the recognition of splinter groups.

It’s June, when one can be forgiven for thinking we live in the United States of LGBTQIA2S+.
Old Glory is, at best, supplemented with, and sometimes supplanted by, the pride flag in all its varieties.
The flag, which has become more and more unsightly, is ubiquitous. Its increasingly elaborate jumble of clashing stripes — whether seen shopping, at a ballgame or on U.S. government buildings — is a reminder to get with the program, and that the program is always changing.
Team Biden draped what is known as the Progress Pride flag, with no fewer than 11 different colors, on the White House in between two American flags, giving it — no pun intended — pride of place.
Flags aren’t trifling matters. People rally to them and live and die for them. The firing on the flag at Fort Sumter at the outset of the Civil War, for instance, had a galvanizing effect on the North. “On forts and ships, from church-spires and flag-staffs, from colleges, hotels, storefronts and private balconies, from public edifices, everywhere the old flag was flung out,” historian George Preble writes in a passage that could almost as accurately describe the unavoidable June displays of the pride flag.
Whereas the power of the Star-Spangled Banner is its extraordinary history, its relatively simple design, its easily understood symbolism, and its call to unify all Americans — not to mention the sacrifices made to defend it — the pride flag is the opposite.
It’s always being refashioned (the version displayed on the White House dates all the way back to 2018), it’s an aesthetic disaster, it’s inscrutable, and it’s a banner concerned with the recognition of splinter groups.
If you wanted to create a visual representation of “intersectionality,” the latest iterations of the flag would be it.
The old, quaint rainbow flag had the virtue of being simpler than its subsequent renditions and of representing broad categories of things (life, sunlight, etc.), rather than specific groups of people. The flag started as eight stripes and got dropped to six for pragmatic reasons before additional stripes started getting layered in.
As it happens, there are dozens of separate flags out there for every gender identity and sexual orientation — pansexual, non-binary, gender fluid, asexual, you name it. How could they be left out?
First, the City of Philadelphia added black and brown stripes to the top of the flag in 2017 to recognize people of color. The next year, a designer took the black and brown stripes — along with light blue, pink, and white stripes incorporated from the transgender flag — and put them in a horizontal chevron to make the Progress Pride flag.
Yet another update added a yellow triangle with a purple circle from the intersex flag.
The resulting banner has all the visual appeal of a TV test pattern. It’s hard to see any principle by which other groups should be excluded. By the time it’s all said and done, the thing could look like a Sherwin-Williams fan deck, if it doesn’t already.
Like the LBGTQ+ cause generally, the flag has become increasingly esoteric and obsessed with identity politics — there’s always another letter or another stripe. But what better representation of a movement that has gone down the rabbit holes of such bizarre causes as insisting that males compete in women’s sports and minors get life-altering “gender-affirming care” that other advanced countries are turning away from as a terrible mistake?
Yet, it flies everywhere as though it were a quasi-national flag with universal popular assent. Even U.S. government buildings here at home and U.S. embassies abroad are bedecked with the flag. If Republicans ever get unified control of government, they should ban this practice. The government shouldn’t be promoting boutique causes, and we already have a flag that includes everyone, that doesn’t require constant ideological makeover, and that isn’t an eyesore.
The Stars and Stripes should be sufficient for this and every month.

The Nail in the COVID Coffin
We can now say definitively that the virus came from the Wuhan lab because three named workers were the earliest to become infected.

The steady stream of apologies ought to be rolling in any minute now.
Aaaaanyyyy minute now.
Granted, the American people have mostly moved beyond COVID-19 by now, both literally and figuratively. But there are still some vital housekeeping matters to take care of — and as of this week, one less of them: We now know definitively, not speculatively, from whence it came. As independent journalists Michael Shellenberger, Matt Taibbi, and Alex Gutentag report on Substack:
After years of official pronouncements to the contrary, significant new evidence has emerged that strengthens the case that the SARS-CoV-2 virus accidentally escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
According to multiple U.S. government officials interviewed as part of a lengthy investigation by Public and Racket, the first people infected by the virus, “patients zero,” included Ben Hu, a researcher who led the WIV’s “gain-of-function” research on SARS-like coronaviruses, which increases the infectiousness of viruses.
“Strengthens the case”? These gents are being too modest. This closes the case and puts a nail in its coffin, to mix our metaphors. It’s one thing to identify the Wuhan lab as the source of the deadly scourge, but it’s another thing entirely to name individual names, which is what this new report does: the aforementioned Hu, Yu Ping, and Yan Zhu. These are three of the earliest people to become infected with SARS-CoV-2.
B-b-b-but, but, they could’ve all been shopping for some fresh dog or pangolin at that nearby wet market!
Yeah, right.
This, of course, isn’t the first time that anyone has claimed COVID-19 came from a lab. Heck, this humble correspondent has been claiming it for years. And doubling down on it.
As for those apologies, we aren’t holding our breath. Still, it’s instructive to remember just how wrong these people have been proven to be. Even lefty Jon Stewart, who came out of retirement to address his people’s Krazy Glue adherence to the theory that a bat flew into the cloaca of a turkey and resulted in the deaths of — depending on who’s counting — more than 1.1 million deaths in the U.S. and nearly seven million deaths worldwide.
It’s also worth remembering the evolution of the blame. As first, everyone was calling it “the Wuhan coronavirus.” But then the ChiComs put the arm on their leftist fellow travelers here in the U.S., and pretty soon it became racist to imply that the Wuhan coronavirus was in fact the Wuhan coronavirus. Take a look.
But merely identifying the Wuhan lab and its earliest victims isn’t the end of it. There’s also the matter of the Chinese military’s involvement. As Shellenberger writes elsewhere on Substack: “You may recall that The New York Times called Robert F. Kennedy a ‘conspiracy theorist’ for saying Covid resulted from a bio-weapons program. And yet one of the State Department cables [which were recently obtained via a FOIA request] shows a connection between China’s biotechnology sector and the Chinese military (People’s Liberation Army), which included its construction of the Wuhan lab.”
The ChiComs’ military involvement in COVID-19 gained momentum earlier this week, when the UK’s Sunday Times published a bombshell report about it. As our Nate Jackson wrote:
Researchers “were combining the world’s most deadly coronaviruses to create a new mutant virus,” the Times says. This gain-of-function research using viruses collected from bats was funded in part with U.S. taxpayer money funneled from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) through EcoHealth Alliance, which almost certainly lied to keep the funding coming, and conducted by “researchers from the Chinese military” who were “pursuing bioweapons.”
We wonder: Will the commie apologists affix the “RACIST!” label to those of us who are now suggesting, with ever-increasing evidence, that the Red Chinese military is behind all this? Time will tell. And time will tell whether the ChiComs will pay any real price for what they’ve done.
National Review’s Jim Geraghty reminds us what happened to an honest Chinese doctor who tried to alert the rest of the world to what was happening back when it could’ve saved millions of lives:
The problem was that when those doctors tried to pull the alarm, the local, regional, and national Chinese government authorities above them kept shutting down their efforts until it was too late. Dr. Li Wenliang got dragged into a police station and was berated for “rumormongering” and for “publishing untrue statements,” and threatened with prosecution. A little more than a month later, the virus that he had desperately tried to warn his countrymen and the world about killed him.
As blogger and public health expert Michael Hanna writes, “The most troubling part for me is knowing that this will likely happen again, and again — unless some very nasty consequences are brought to bear for those who knowingly or unknowingly enabled this unmitigated disaster in funding and oversight of biohazardous research.”

- GOP leads the way for gas stoves: On Wednesday, House Republicans successfully passed the Gas Stove Protection and Freedom Act, with more than two dozen Democrats joining the GOP majority to counter Joe Biden’s effort to ban gas stoves. The legislation passed 248-180 and is now headed to the Democrat-controlled Senate, where West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin introduced a similar bill. “The federal government has no business telling Americans how to cook their dinner,” Manchin said. “My view is that it’s part of a broader, administration-wide regulatory effort to eliminate fossil fuels.” His assertion is accurate, and in this case Biden’s Consumer Product Safety Commission has effectively introduced a ban on gas stoves by putting forth new efficiency standards that nearly all stoves currently on the market fail to meet.
- Suarez runs for president: Republican Miami Mayor Francis Suarez announced his entry into the presidential primary yesterday. The two-term mayor is Cuban American and widely popular in Miami, as he has led the city into an economic boom. In his announcement video, Suarez touted his Miami record overseeing economic growth while maintaining low crime as a blueprint for the nation. Suarez is one of the few Republicans in the field who did not support Donald Trump in 2020. He has also been critical of Governor Ron DeSantis, particularly regarding his actions against Disney. Suarez is fiscally conservative, business friendly, and pro-law and order but culturally liberal. He proudly embraces the LGBTQ crowd and recently posted a social media message in support of “Transgender Day of Remembrance and Resiliency.” During the COVID pandemic, he was a big proponent of masking and crossed horns with DeSantis over his banning of masking and vaccine mandates. His entry into an increasingly crowded and racially diverse field of GOP candidates serves to further expose the false nature of the Democrats’ smear that the Republican Party is the party of white supremacy.
- The Fed hits pause: With signs that the rate of inflation is slowing, currently at roughly 4%, the Federal Reserve paused its repeated hiking of interest rates, now sitting at 5% to 5.25%. Following a meeting in Washington, DC, Fed Chairman Jerome Powell explained, “In light of how far we’ve come in tightening policy … today we decided to leave our policy interest rate unchanged.” He added that the Fed’s target of 2% inflation remained and that there will likely be more interest rate hikes in the future. The Fed now anticipates that inflation will continue to decrease to a 3.2% annual rate by the end of the year.
- Senator Ernst seeks to disarm IRS agents: Iowa Republican Senator Joni Ernst doesn’t understand why the IRS needs and wants guns, so she has announced a bill to disarm the tax agency. Dubbed the Why Does the IRS Have Guns Act, Ernst observed, “The taxman is fully loaded at the expense of the taxpayer.” She noted that, according to research from OpenTheBooks, since 2006 the IRS has spent $35.2 million on firearms, ammunition, and “military-style” equipment. Her argument is that tax agents are not law enforcement agents and therefore do not need to be armed and act as such. If passed into law, Ernst’s bill would remove the IRS’s criminal division from the tax agency and make it a division of the Justice Department.
- Mail theft crime is spiking: Since the pandemic, the U.S. Postal Service has reported a significant uptick in mail theft, specifically crime targeting bill-pay checks. This coincides with reporting from the Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) that the number of check fraud scams nearly doubled over that same time span. In 2021, there were 350,000 check fraud scams; that jumped to 680,000 last year, even as the number of people using checks continues to decline. FinCEN estimated $24 billion in check fraud last year. Mark D. Solomon, vice president of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators, observed that mailed checks have become a target for criminals: “Checks are more vulnerable than other payment methods to being compromised, counterfeited or stolen.” The trouble is the older generation tends to believe in the security of sending checks when in reality they have become one of the riskiest ways of paying bills.
- GOP senator blocks arms sale to Hungary: Hungary is standing in the way of Sweden’s entry into NATO, and Idaho Senator James Risch, the top Republican on the Foreign Relations Committee, has had enough. Budapest has drug its feet on giving approval for Sweden’s NATO membership, as Hungary has the power to veto entry for any new member into the military alliance. Frustrated, Risch has blocked a new arms sale to Hungary, arguing, “For some time now, I have directly expressed my concerns to the Hungarian government regarding its refusal to move forward a vote for Sweden to join NATO.” He then explained, “The fact that it is now June and still not done, I decided that the sale of new U.S. military equipment to Hungary will be on hold.” Tensions between Hungary and Sweden appear to be at the root of the current impasse.

Europe Restricts Puberty Blockers
The UK, Sweden, and others are at least putting their foot down on harmful hormones for gender-confused kids.

“Gender-affirming care” is one of the most devious euphemisms in the common lexicon today. It rightly should be called “gender-denying care” because that’s what is actually happening. “Gender-affirming care” is the pet name used by cultists who are seeking to normalize the sexualization of children and transgenderism and who are taking advantage of the mentally distressed. Europe, however, is starting to reverse course on this abusive treatment plan.
The United Kingdom’s (UK) National Health Service (NHS) announced last Friday that it was going to seriously restrict dispensing of puberty blockers as a treatment option for kids struggling with gender dysphoria. In its statement, the NHS wrote, “There is not enough evidence to support their safety or clinical effectiveness as a routinely available treatment.” In other words, puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones don’t fix gender dysphoria and in fact cause irreparable harm.
This is in total contrast to the United States’ stance on treating anyone, but particularly minors, struggling with gender confusion. President Joe Biden openly attacks any sort of restriction on “gender-affirming” treatment. Over the weekend, Biden told a crowd gathered for a pride event at the White House: “We need to push back against the hundreds of callous and cynical bills and laws introduced in states targeting transgender children, terrifying families, and criminalizing doctors and nurses. These bills and laws attack the most basic values and freedoms we have as Americans — that’s not hyperbole.”
The truth is that these laws prevent children from being sexualized and ideologically groomed. More importantly, they prevent children from destroying their health before the brain’s frontal lobe is fully developed.
The UK in particular is about a decade ahead on the treatment of children identifying as the opposite sex. The shift away from cognitive behavioral therapy and other effective forms of talk therapy toward just blindly affirming is a major contributing factor behind the Tavistock Centre being closed.
The UK isn’t the only country shifting tentatively toward reality. The Norwegian Healthcare Investigation Board also announced that it was revising its guidelines on “gender-affirming care.” It is not only restricting access to puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones but also severely restricting gender mutilation surgeries.
In the U.S., a person can get approved for a gender mutilation surgery in very short order. The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh did an undercover operation that exposed the two most major “transgender healthcare” providers actively expediting patients for surgeries and working the insurance companies to get these unnecessary surgeries approved as “healthcare.” His undercover producer was able to get approved for an orchiectomy — testicle removal — after 22 minutes.
Finland and Sweden have been on the front lines of researching the lasting impacts of transgenderism. And yet, in the U.S., transgender activists are able to bully formerly prestigious science journals into suppressing research that points to the vast majority of gender “transitions” being the result of a social contagion.
The Federalist’s Jordan Boyd puts it best when she writes, “We need to not just ban the demonic act of chopping off healthy body parts or rendering them useless with castrating drugs, but also punish the people promoting and executing the left’s shop of horrors behind parents’ backs.” People who pursue medical and social interventions to deny their biological sex are brainwashed victims and probably mentally ill (or at least seriously struggling). It is rank abuse of the vulnerable.
It is a hopeful sign that European countries are starting to review their guidelines. The U.S. should do the same as the larger public tide is turning against the transgender ideologues. And because it’s simply the right thing to do.
Americans Want to Protect Women’s Sports
Recent polling shows that the transgender cultists are losing their battle to infiltrate and wreck women’s sports.

In case you missed it, official Washington’s interminable Pride Month celebration was briefly interrupted Tuesday by an act of journalism. The urinator in their corn flakes was EWTN White House correspondent Owen Jensen, and he was quickly returned to his place by Joe Biden’s chief propagandist, Karine Jean-Pierre.
“What would the president say,” asked Jensen, “to parents out there who have daughters, say, from high school, for example, who are worried that their daughter may have to compete against a male … and worry about their daughter’s safety?”
This question seemed reasonable enough, and it reminded us of something we’d written back in January 2022, when we noted how lucky we’d been, as the father of daughters who’d grown up competing in club sports and high school athletics, to have been spared the ghoulish sight of a girl’s head bouncing off the hardwood with a sickening thud because a young man steamrolled her on his way to the hoop. And spared from having seen a distraught dad collecting his daughter’s teeth and stanching the flow of blood from her mouth because she’d gotten in the way of a young man’s vicious slapper with that heavy, hard plastic field hockey ball.
Jean-Pierre, though, will never have daughters, and she clearly hadn’t considered such possibilities. Thus, she dutifully scolded Jensen: “So, look, what you’re alluding to,” she said, “is basically saying that transgender kids are dangerous. … You’re saying that [girls’] safety is at risk. … That is dangerous. That is a dangerous thing to say — that, essentially, transgender kids, we’re talking about, are dangerous.”
KJP would never admit it, but she was uncomfortable with the question. The tell was her nervous laughter as she answered. But this is the Democrats’ perverse policy, and they own it.
We call it perverse because it is. It’s a biological fact that men are, on average, bigger, stronger, and faster than women. In addition, as columnist Madeleine Kearns explained, “Other well-documented physical advantages men have over women include height, weight, broader shoulders, greater circulating blood volume, greater resistance to dehydration, larger lung capacity, thicker skin, faster sensory frame shifting, more hemoglobin in the blood, greater upper-body strength, faster reaction times, greater bone density in the arms, larger sweat capacity, higher systolic blood pressure, higher muscle-to-fat ratio, and larger hearts.”
Furthermore, as Abigail Schrier put it in The Wall Street Journal, “Once male puberty is complete, testosterone suppression doesn’t undo the biological advantages men possess: larger hearts, lungs and bones, greater bone density, more-oxygenated blood, more fast-twitch muscle fiber and vastly greater muscle mass.”
Or perhaps there’s another explanation for a team of our nation’s best women soccer players having gotten annihilated recently by a combined 24-to-1 score in three games against men?
How is this fair? And why, as our colleague Emmy Griffin asked, are woke women’s soccer stars like Megan Rapinoe pulling up the ladder behind them as they retire from the sport while supporting the notion that men should be allowed to compete against women from here forward? Could it be that she selfishly wants to cement her legacy as the best, knowing that the playing field will be unfairly tilted against women going forward?
Increasingly, the American people are becoming uncomfortable with the same question that flummoxed Jean-Pierre — this question about men competing against women athletically, and about the larger reality of our daughters’ right to privacy in bathrooms, dorm rooms, locker rooms, and just about everywhere else. A recent Gallup poll makes this clear.
“A larger majority of Americans,” reports Gallup, “now (69%) than in 2021 (62%) say transgender athletes should only be allowed to compete on sports teams that conform with their birth gender. Likewise, fewer endorse transgender athletes being able to play on teams that match their current gender identity, 26%, down from 34%.”
The trend is clear, and the rationale is obvious. Men competing against our daughters in sports is a bridge too far. While same-sex marriage seems to be increasing in acceptance across the American landscape, this other issue has hit a brick wall.
The American people, in short, are starting to get it. And that’s good news for our girls.

If you get your news from CNN, you probably don’t know that the FBI learned in 2017 from one of its most treasured informants that Burisma paid Joe Biden $5 million to get a Ukrainian prosecutor fired.
Joe did his job well, and he’s happy to tell you about it. Watch:

In addition to evidence of the felony, the FBI was aware of 17 audio tapes discussing the bribe and the expected deliverables. Fifteen of those tapes include Hunter Biden. Two of the tapes include Joe Biden.
Last week, an FBI whistleblower informed Congress of the existence of the FBI’s evidence against Biden. He or she disclosed the existence of a form FD-1023 that documents this damning crime against the United States.
FBI Director Christopher Wray refused to provide the unclassified FD-1023 when demanded by Congressional oversight committees. Only under the threat of criminal contempt of Congress did Wray partially relent. Wray allowed a small number of oversight members to view a highly-redacted copy of the unclassified document in secure room (SCIF).
One of the many redactions hid the existence of the 17 smoking-gun audio tapes. Senator Grassley learned of the content of this redaction from a whistleblower, who has likely been exterminated by the FBI’s hitmen.
Despite public knowledge of the bribery case, the FBI continues to stonewall Congress, as documented in this Zero Hedge report from earlier today.
This makes Joe Biden the first US president to have been provably involved in a cash-for-policy bribe.
Yet, not a single mainstream news outlet has reported on the crime of the millennium. New York Times, Washington Post, USAToday, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS refuse to allow mention of Biden’s felony. I haven’t checked, by you can assume that Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Tik Tok censor any mention of Biden’s bribes. Thus, Tucker Carlson was correct in lamenting that the American people are least informed people in the world—probably in history.
What’s more, the DOJ rushed to indict Trump on the day the proof of Biden’s corruption broke. This was an intentional move by Biden, AG Merrick Garland, and prosecuting thug Jack Smith to give the media cover. Biden ordered the phony arrest of his leading political opponent in order to whitewash news of his own felony.
This is why I say “the republic has fallen.” At this moment, the United States does not have a government open to the public, nor is the United States a nation of laws. We obey the arbitrary rule of other men who were never elected to anything—the Deep State, the administrative state, the bureaucracy, whatever you want to call it.

This is why we are funding Ukraine’s war against Russia, but this is also why Joe Biden is president. The FBI had the goods on him, and they could force him to their bidding. In this sense, Joe Biden, through his own sin, has become a victim—a slave to the Deep State.
And now you know why the FBI must be abolished and all former FBI employees barred from any position of trust in the United States. I am sure some good, innocent people will be swept up in that broad dragnet, but those good, innocent people did not speak up when they should have. They followed orders and did their jobs, like the good Germans in the 1930s.
Most importantly, God chose us to inhabit this continent at the moment in time when the United States republic was surreptitiously replaced by an evil empire. We must ask ourselves, “why?” and ask God, “what is my mission?”
Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood. The source of the FBI’s power is not the Constitution or the laws of the country, but preternatural forces who seek the ruin of souls.
Pray for clarity in your mission. Pray for understanding of why God put you in the middle of this historical collapse of freedom. Only personal divine inspiration will show you and me the way out. God sees in you the strength, character, and resolve needed for this crisis. If He didn’t, you wouldn’t be here now.

Scientists have now figured out how to create a synthetic embryo in the lab that needs neither sperm nor egg to form. Synthetic human embryos created in groundbreaking advance
FROM THE GUARDIAN UK: Scientists say these model embryos, which resemble those in the earliest stages of human development, could provide a crucial window on the impact of genetic disorders and the biological causes of recurrent miscarriage. However, the work also raises serious ethical and legal issues as the lab-grown entities fall outside current legislation in the UK and most other countries. The structures do not have a beating heart or the beginnings of a brain, but include cells that would typically go on to form the placenta, yolk sac and the embryo itself.
Prof Magdalena Żernicka-Goetz, of the University of Cambridge and the California Institute of Technology, described the work in a plenary address on Wednesday at the International Society for Stem Cell Research’s annual meeting in Boston.
“We can create human embryo-like models by the reprogramming of embryonic stem cells,” she told the meeting.
There is no near-term prospect of the synthetic embryos being used clinically. It would be illegal to implant them into a patient’s womb, and it is not yet clear whether these structures have the potential to continue maturing beyond the earliest stages of development.
The motivation for the work is for scientists to understand the “black box” period of development that is so called because scientists are only allowed to cultivate embryos in the lab up to a legal limit of 14 days. They then pick up the course of development much further along by looking at pregnancy scans and embryos donated for research.
Robin Lovell-Badge, the head of stem cell biology and developmental genetics at the Francis Crick Institute in London, said: “The idea is that if you really model normal human embryonic development using stem cells, you can gain an awful lot of information about how we begin development, what can go wrong, without having to use early embryos for research.” READ MORE
Elon Musk Publicly Puts Biden in His Place After White House Targets Kids with ‘Pride’ Message | Western Journal
How come it is beginning to feel like the Biden administration will soon be enacting measures to join every expectant mother and father in the delivery room, only to snatch the newborn infant from their mother’s loins the minute they pass through? To hijack the direct bond between parent and child and endeavor to convince parents that the government holds a significant place in that dynamic, too, is beyond reproach.
Twitter CEO Elon Musk should feel no need to stand in defense of this. Yet, what did he do on Wednesday? He tweeted out in defense of parental rights, highlighting the sanctity of the parent-child relationship in an attempt to restore sanity among a society in which it continues to erode. Musk is a parent after all.
Musk’s tweet came in response to a one sent out by the White House’s official account on Tuesday.
In the video, which displayed the White House lit up like a rainbow, President Joe Biden is heard saying, “These are our kids. … Not somebody else’s kids. They’re all our kids.”
“You are the government. They are NOT your kids,” Musk responded.
No, Joe. You and the rest of the evil empire that you currently have running our nation into the ground don’t have dibs on our kids. We’ve already experienced the reckless nature in which you handle much of our precious resources. Oil prices are up. Food insecurity continues to expand. Home foreclosures are on the rise. Inflation bites bigger chunks out of paychecks. And an all out recession looms.
The audacity in trying to convince us that you will do better with our most precious ones is right up there with the belief that Hunter Biden is the choir boy you continue to claim him to be. Or that former President Donald Trump is receiving equal justice under the law. Or that the immersion of socialism among students attending public school is all in conservatives’ heads.
Conservative parents see you and the liberal left agenda clearly. How you are using the confusion and frailty of struggling children within the LGBT community to your advantage, crying savior when a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” is all you truly are.
The effectiveness of your messaging may have erroneously become the crux of mainstream thinking among many — but not all.
Getting a hold of the majority of our children is the next obvious step in their plan.
Public schools offer forty hours a week of uninterrupted brainwashing in this regard. What it doesn’t offer is a beneficial education in training young minds to think for themselves. It doesn’t mentor a love for learning. It doesn’t provide basic understanding of reading, writing, mathematics, science or history for so many. It fails to teach critical life skills necessary for daily living.
The first public school was established in Boston on April 23, 1635. And a lot has changed in children’s lives, leaving them to contend with a world few are prepared to live in. Simply put, kids barely understand biology yet are encouraged to declare their own “gender identity” prior to fully realizing what being a grown-up, adult man or woman actually encompasses.
Make sense of that and I guess the rest of this administration’s logic would make sense, too. To the majority of us thinking individuals, however, it doesn’t, which is why Musk garnered such popularity even before he invaded Twitter and made it his home.
This isn’t the first time the so-called intellectuals went blind while the common man’s vision became ever so keen. Those familiar with history know this. That is the reason history is imperative to study and why it is under attack by the left, hence the need for the widespread integration of additional private and charter schools into our educational mix.
Homeschooling has certainly demonstrated the benefits of alternate educational routes. Kids excel when engaged in environments that are truly designed to develop young minds, not ulterior motives nor agendas. But not every child residing in the United States lives within the conditions that allows him or her to be homeschooled like the other 6.73% of students are.
Our nation needs to change this for the immediate protection and education of our children and the overall long term outlook of our future. The distractions aren’t just impeding progress in this regard but growing the resistance naively. Even more reason to thwart our government from redefining their role in the parent-child dynamic.
Once children begin to believe that the government shares equal stature with their parents, there will be no stopping what comes next. “Equal” will soon become “ahead,” followed by generations in tow.
Parents will no longer hold any power. This is the point when socialism will truly take hold. And freedom? Freedom will be lost forever.
The time is now to put an end to the continued over-reaches presented so confidently and intentionally by President Biden and his White House staff. The calculating nature of this administration must always be expected and taken seriously. Nothing is as it seems under their watch, which is the reason Twitter CEO Elon Musk simply — and rather effectively — answered in kind. And it’s why we must, too, at every turn.
