8 Signs That The Futuristic Control Freak Agenda Of The Globalists Is Rapidly Moving Forward | The Economic Collapse

The future is here, and if you enjoy being dominated by control freaks you are going to love it.  “Digital identification” is one of the primary areas the globalists are focusing on right now, and as you will see below, the radical changes that are now being proposed are extremely scary.  But most Americans have no idea that any of this is happening.  Instead, many of them are obsessing over the relatively meaningless dramas that our corporate news outlets are constantly pushing.  Meanwhile, the globalists are achieving their goals at lightning speed, and there is hardly any resistance at all.  The following are 8 signs that the futuristic control freak agenda of the globalists is rapidly moving forward…

#1 Starting in September, the EU will “mandate” that all member states offer a “digital identity wallet” to all of their citizens and businesses…

The European Union will mandate digital identity under eIDAS 2.0, which will go into effect in September 2023 and ensure all Member States offer a digital identity wallet (DIW) to citizens and businesses. According to the European Commission, “At least 80% of citizens should be able to use a digital ID solution to access key public services by 2030.”

#2 A system of “digital fingerprints” for Americans has suddenly become Barack Obama’s biggest issue

Former President Barack Obama suggested in a new interview the development of “digital fingerprints” to combat misinformation and distinguish between true and misleading news for consumers.

Obama sat down with his former White House senior adviser David Axelrod for a conversation on the latter’s podcast, “The Axe Files,” on CNN Audio. During the interview, Axelrod noted he’s seen “misinformation, disinformation, [and] deepfakes” targeting Obama.

#3 A UN policy brief that you can find right here is proposing a global system of digital identification that is linked to our bank accounts

Digital IDs linked with bank or mobile money accounts can improve the delivery of social protection coverage and serve to better reach eligible beneficiaries. Digital technologies may help to reduce leakage, errors and costs in the design of social protection programmes.

#4 The World Health Organization has adopted “the European Union (EU) system of digital COVID-19 certification” and plans to transform it into a “global system”

In June 2023, WHO will take up the European Union (EU) system of digital COVID-19 certification to establish a global system that will help facilitate global mobility and protect citizens across the world from on-going and future health threats, including pandemics. This is the first building block of the WHO Global Digital Health Certification Network (GDHCN) that will develop a wide range of digital products to deliver better health for all.

“Building on the EU’s highly successful digital certification network, WHO aims to offer all WHO Member States access to an open-source digital health tool, which is based on the principles of equity, innovation, transparency and data protection and privacy,” said Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General. “New digital health products in development aim to help people everywhere receive quality health services quickly and more effectively”.

#5 Federal agencies in the United States have been purchasing massive amounts of information about U.S. citizens from data brokers, and we are being warned that such information could potentially be used for “blackmail, stalking, harassment and public shaming”

Federal agencies are secretly accumulating mountains of data that could be used for “blackmail, stalking, harassment and public shaming” of American citizens.

That allegation doesn’t come from a pink-haired civil-liberties fanatic — it’s in a new report for the nation’s chief spymaster, Avril Haines.

#6 It has been revealed that the Pentagon has been using very creepy online tools in order to “covertly track, locate and identify anyone expressing dissent or even dissatisfaction with the actions of the U.S. military and its leadership”…

In a shocking report published by The Intercept on June 17, details have emerged of a U.S. national security surveillance strategy to covertly track, locate and identify anyone expressing dissent or even dissatisfaction with the actions of the U.S. military and its leadership.

The measures, undertaken by the Army Protective Services Battalion, fall under their remit of safeguarding top generals from “assassination, kidnapping, injury or embarrassment.”

#7 As I discussed yesterday, the UN has developed a global fact-checking system known as “iVerify” in conjunction with big tech companies and Soros-funded organizations.  The goal is to be able to police “disinformation” and “hate speech” all over the planet

The United Nations has unveiled an “automated” fact-checking service to counter so-called disinformation and hate speech on the internet in a project partnered with Big-Tech and Soros-funded organisations.

In response to what they brand as “online information pollution”, which they claim is a “global challenge”, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has launched its iVerify platform to counter alleged disinformation and hate speech online.

#8 The IMF is publicly admitting that it is constructing “a global CBDC platform” for all of the national central bank digital currencies that will soon be rolled out…

During a presentation at a conference in Morocco, Kristalina Georgievahe the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced that the global body is “working hard on the concept of a global CBDC platform.”

Georgieva declared that Central Bank Digital Currencies need to be interoperable between countries, noting “If we are to be successful, CBDCs could not be fragmented national propositions.”

“To have transactions more efficient and fairer, we need systems that connect countries,” Georgieva continued, adding “In other words, we need interoperability.”

If you can read through that entire list without becoming extremely alarmed, I don’t know if there is any hope for you.

The globalists are building a worldwide digital control grid which would potentially give them unprecedented power over the lives of every man, woman and child on the entire planet.

Under such a system, if you insist on being a rebel, your access to the digital system could be revoked completely.

What would you do then?

How would you survive if you could not buy, sell, get a job or open a bank account?

The extremely advanced technology that we possess today has allowed us to do a lot of really good things, but it also has the potential to be used to impose tyranny on a global scale.

We must resist these changes that the globalists are trying to impose on us.

Unfortunately, most Americans are not even talking about these changes, and that is because the mainstream media is telling them to focus on other things.

The DOJ treats Donald Trump one way, Hillary and Biden another – Conservative Review

The Espionage Act of 1917 has never been used against a former president, vice president, or even a cabinet secretary — until last week.

According to Mark Levin, the 106-year-old law was never intended to be used the way it suddenly has been: to criminalize document cases.

“Whether the documents are classified or not, it doesn’t matter who created them. They’re in the possession of the White House, the president, his staff,” Levin says.

“The Presidential Records Acts, which was passed in 1978 and instituted effectively in 1981,” Levin continues, “has no criminal penalty. So, you can’t start with a Presidential Records Act and all of a sudden say, ‘Okay, let’s move to the Espionage Act.’”

Levin notes that the Espionage Act wasn’t even used against Lyndon B. Johnson, who had directed his staff to remove top secret information involving the Vietnam War and illegally tapped Nixon’s phone.

“Nobody even thought about charging anybody with the Espionage Act,” he says.

Levin believes that Hillary Clinton would have been much worthier of charges based on the Espionage Act than former president Trump.

“They never investigated her for obstruction. Never investigated her for perjury even though there are existing subpoenas from the house oversight committee,” he adds.

Levin is sure that Trump is being treated unfairly in comparison, and it’s all political.

“They treat Trump one way and Biden another,” he says.

Bank records have shown that the Biden family and friends have received over $10 million from foreign nationals and their companies, and even more information has implicated the Biden family in a bribery scheme with Ukrainian company Burisma.

Levin has noticed that no one seems to care.

“And yet, Donald Trump is investigated criminally, and the attorney general, Merrick Garland, won’t even appoint a special counsel despite all those predicates that are pouring out of every orifice of the Department of Justice,” Levin says.

What Is Islam? | Ligonier.org

What is Islam?

Islam is the second-largest religion in the world. Today, an estimated 1.3 billion people profess to be Muslims—that is, followers of the religion of Islam. Of these, nearly 1 billion reside in the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia. Islam is a monotheistic religion, requiring submission to the one God, Allah, and to everything Allah revealed through the prophet Muhammad. The two major authoritative texts in Islam are the Qur’an and the hadith. The Qur’an is claimed to be the revelation of Allah to Muhammad. The hadith are the oral traditions of Muhammad’s teaching and practice as passed down in the Muslim community and set to writing a few centuries later. The Five Pillars of Islam structure the essence of Islamic belief and practice. There are two major branches of Islam: the Sunnis and the Shiites, and there is also a large mystical tradition, the Sufis. The Nation of Islam, an African American political and religious movement, has brought an awareness of Islam to many Americans. However, this movement is a modern Western ethnocentric religion that is not recognized by orthodox Muslims as an authentic Islamic tradition.

When did it begin?

Muhammad is the founder of Islam. He was born in AD 570 in Mecca (a city in the western Arabian Peninsula).1 His father died before his birth. His mother died when he was six. Muhammad went to live with his grandfather Abd al-Muttalib. When he was eight, Muhammad’s grandfather died. Muhammad then went to live with his uncle Abu Talib, a caravan tradesman. Abu Talib took Muhammad on many of his travels.

At age twenty-five, Muhammad married Khadija, a wealthy traveling merchant. Khadija had been raised by Ebionite Christians. The Ebionites were a mystical Jewish sect of Christianity that denied the deity of Christ. Scholars believe that Muhammad learned his inaccurate versions of biblical accounts on his travels with Abu Talib and Khadija.

Muhammad said the angel Gabriel visited him in Mecca in 610, which began a twenty-three-year period during which Muhammad claimed to receive the revelation of the Qur’an. Traditionally, eighty-six suras (chapters) of the Qur’an are said to have been revealed while Muhammad lived in Mecca, while the remaining twenty-eight were revealed in the city of Medina.

The first two people to accept Muhammad’s message were his wife, Khadija, and his cousin, Ali ibn Abi Talib. The first convert outside of Muhammad’s family was Abu Bakr, a traveling merchant. During his stay in Mecca, Muhammad began calling the polytheistic citizens to repent and submit to Allah, the one true God. After years of rejection, persecution, and warfare, Muhammad journeyed to Medina (then known as Yathrib) in 622. This event, called the Hijrah, marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar. The message of Islam found greater acceptance in Medina; the Muslim community there grew, and Muhammad became the leader of the city. Eventually, Muhammad was able to amass an army large enough to capture Mecca, which he purged of polytheism. Mecca is today one of the holiest cities in Islam. Upon Muhammad’s death in 632, Abu Bakr became the first caliph (the religious and political leader of the Islamic state), although many Muslims believed the caliph should have been a relative of Muhammad, specifically his cousin Ali. Abu Bakr carried on the Islamic religion until his death. Caliphs Umar Ibn al-Khattab, Uthman ibn Affan, and Muhammad’s cousin Ali succeeded Abu Bakr, in that order. After Ali’s death, disagreements within the Muslim community over who could be caliph continued to grow, with the Shiites eventually breaking with the majority of Muslims—the Sunnis—over the Shiite belief that the caliph had to be from Muhammad’s family.

Who are the key figures?

Over its long history, Islam has produced a multitude of influential rulers, scholars, philosophers, authors, athletes, businessmen, scientists, and teachers. Muslim mathematicians and philosophers have played important roles in the development of disciplines such as algebra and in the recovery of Aristotle’s thought in the West during the late medieval period. Islamic empires conquered much of the Christian East.

Today, the most well-known Islamic political figures are King Abdullah of Jordan; King Salman of Saudi Arabia; Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran; and Mohammed VI, king of Morocco.

Before becoming a Sunni Muslim, Malcom X helped raise awareness of the Nation of Islam in American culture. Louis Farrakhan is currently the leader of the Nation of Islam, a ethnocentric sect viewed as heretical by orthodox Muslims.

Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are among the famous Muslim athletes of recent decades.

What are the main beliefs?

  1. Revelation and interpretation. Although all Muslims profess belief in the Qur’an, considerable diversity of belief and practice exists among the various branches of Islam. Sunni Muslims, who make up the vast majority of the worldwide Muslim community, rely heavily on legal scholars to settle disputes over the teaching of the Qur’an. These lawyers, in the development of Islamic law or sharia, seek to reconcile the differences between the teaching of the Qur’an and the hadith by means of consensus and analogy. Shiite Muslims, who make up the second-largest group of Muslims worldwide, believe that the true successor to Muhammad as leader of all Muslims comes from the family of Ali. (Sunnis believe that Muhammad’s successor can come from the broader Islamic community.) The Shiites also have their own collections of hadith, consisting only of traditions that they trace back to Ali. Disputes within Shiite Islam are settled by appointed imams whose decisions are considered binding. The Sufis believe in a spiritual, nonliteral interpretation of the Qur’an and engage in mystical practices. One of the most famous of these practices is the whirling dance that is particularly associated with the Mevlevi Order of Sufis (the Whirling Dervishes).

Though it professes to be the authoritative revelation of the one true God, the Qur’an includes a number of historically and theologically inaccurate accounts of biblical figures. For instance, the Qur’an teaches that Abraham offered up Ishmael rather than Isaac. The Qur’an also teaches that Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus, the son of Mary) was merely a miracle-working prophet of Allah. Additionally, the Qur’an denies the deity and atoning death of Jesus. It states, “They slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them . . . they slew him not for certain. But Allah took him up unto Himself” (Surah 4:157–58).2

  1. Devotion. The Five Pillars of Islam encapsulate the essential religious beliefs and practices of Islam. They are as follows:
  • Confession of faith. The first pillar of Islam is the shahada—profession of belief. First, it requires the confession of “no god but Allah.” Second, it requires acceptance of “Muhammad as the messenger of Allah.” In Islamic belief, Muhammad is the last and greatest prophet of Allah.
  • Prayers. The second pillar of Islam is salat—daily prayers. Muslims are expected to pray five times a day—at dawn, at noon, in the afternoon, at sunset, and at night. This practice is evidence of their submission and allegiance to Allah.
  • Giving. The third pillar is zakat—regular giving. Muslims are required to give approximately 2.5 percent of their wealth to religious officials of an Islamic state or to the local mosque. This practice supports the needs of the community, the relief of poverty, the upkeep of religious meeting places, and the propagation of the faith.
  • Fasting. The fourth pillar of Islam is sawm—fasting during Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. From sunup to sundown, Muslims must abstain from eating, drinking, and sexual activity. This practice is a sign of purification through bodily sacrifice to Allah. Muhammad claimed to have had his visions during Ramadan.
  • Pilgrimage. The fifth pillar of Islam is the hajj—a pilgrimage to Mecca. Everyone who has the financial means and physical ability is required to make a trip to Mecca at least once in his life. There are a number of ritual practices that Muslims must do on their pilgrimage. One of the most important is walking counterclockwise around the Kaaba (a sacred shrine in Mecca that Muslims consider the holiest spot on earth) seven times.
  1. Redemption. While the Qur’an encourages Muslims to turn to Allah for mercy, it teaches that redemption is based on the freedom of Allah’s will. A person can atone for his sins by devotion to Allah, repentance, and good works. Allah is free to extend or withhold mercy as he likes, meaning he can set aside his love and justice when making a decision about a person’s ultimate destiny. Every single person will either end up in paradise (the Islamic concept of heaven) or in hell. However, some hadith seem to teach that ultimately Allah will bring the people in hell into paradise. Muhammad declared, “Allah will bring out people from the Fire and admit them into Paradise” (Sahih Muslim 1:368).

Why do people believe this form of false teaching?

One of the three major monotheistic religions that trace themselves back to Abraham, Islam has some superficial resemblances to Judaism and Christianity. Biblical accounts in the Qur’an—though historically inaccurate—make Islam a compelling counterfeit of the Christian religion. Many have been attracted to the ethical and ritualistic aspects of Islam. Additionally, the sociopolitical nature of Islam ensures its spread to every facet of the lives of its members, giving people who are looking for order and structure in their lives something to latch onto.

How does it hold up against biblical Christianity?

  1. Revelation. In contrast to Islam, Christianity maintains that the triune God has revealed Himself fully and finally through His prophets and Apostles in the Old and New Testaments. The Holy Spirit superintended the revelation of God’s salvation in Christ through many men over a period of 1,500 years (Heb. 1:1–2; 1 Peter 1:10–12; 2 Peter 1:21). God has fully revealed Himself in His Son. Jesus is not only the great Prophet; He is God in the flesh (John 1:1, 14; Rom. 9:5; 1 Tim. 3:16). The overarching message of Scripture is the suffering of Christ and His subsequent glory (Luke 24:25–26, 44–47; 1 Peter 1:10–12). All special revelation has ceased after the ministry of Jesus and the Apostles (Heb. 1:2; Rev. 22:18–19).
  2. Devotion. Scripture stresses the importance of confession of faith in God and Christ (Matt. 16:16; John 3:16–18; Rom. 10:9–10). The Bible encourages believers to be fervent in prayer (1 Thess. 5:17; James 5:16) and faithful in giving (1 Cor. 16:1; Gal. 6:6). However, religious devotion is an act of gratitude for the redemption that we have in Christ by grace. Christianity does not encourage pilgrimage to any physical building. The old covenant temple served its purpose in redemptive history. The physical temple was a type of Christ, and His church—His people—in the new covenant era are His temple (John 2:19–22; 4:21; 1 Cor. 6:19; 1 Peter 2:4–5).
  3. Redemption. The Bible teaches that all men are born dead in sin (Eph. 2:1–4). No amount of good works can save us. No number of religious acts can give someone a right standing before God. Scripture teaches that Jesus, the eternal Son of God, died on the cross to atone for the sins of His people and to propitiate the wrath of God for His people (1 John 1:8–2:2). Jesus represents His people before God on the basis of His sinless life, atoning death, and continual intercession (2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 7:25). We are saved by faith in Christ, not by our works (Rom. 4:1–8; Eph. 2:8–9). Though God freely chooses to show mercy to some and not to others (Ex. 33:19; Rom. 9:15), He does not annul His love or justice to do so. Rather, at the cross, God upholds His justice by punishing His Son in the place of His people and displays His love by forgiving them and reconciling them to Himself (Rom. 3:26).

How can I share the gospel with those who hold to this false teaching?

  1. Focus on the unity of Scripture. Since the Qur’an incorporates portions of the Old and New Testaments, we must help Muslims see the internal unity and coherence of the Bible. The Old and New Testaments center on the person and saving work of Jesus. As He walked with His disciples on the road to Emmaus, Jesus “interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself” (Luke 24:27). The message of the Old Testament is the same as that of the New Testament—namely, that God saves sinners by grace through Christ crucified and risen (John 5:46; 8:58; Gal. 3:8).
  2. Focus on the biblical teaching about the immanence of God. According to Islam, Allah is utterly and exclusively transcendent and nonrelational. Therefore, it is vital for us to stress the biblical truth about the immanence or nearness of the triune God when witnessing to Muslims. Scripture teaches that God is both transcendent and immanent (Isa. 55:8; 64:1). In the person of Jesus, God came into the world to accomplish redemption (John 1:1, 14). God the Holy Spirit works directly in creation in both revelation and regeneration. God drew near to His prophets in redemptive history in order to give the revelation of Himself to His people (2 Peter 1:21). The Spirit regenerates the hearts of His people, enabling them to believe and commune with God (John 3:5–6; Titus 3:5).
  3. Focus on atonement and assurance. The biblical teaching about the atoning sacrifice of Jesus is the most important thing that we can share with Muslims. God freely provides an atoning sacrifice for sins in the sacrificial death of Jesus (John 1:29, 36). Since Jesus’ death on the cross is an efficacious sacrifice for all those for whom He died, nothing can separate believers from God (Rom. 8:35–39). Muslims follow a works-based religion and thus live with uncertainty whether Allah will admit them to paradise. No such uncertainty exists in the message of the gospel (John 17:3; Rom. 8:1; 1 John 5:13).

  1. One hundred years after Muhammed died, Ibn Ishaq—an eighth-century Arab author—wrote a biography of the proph¬et’s life titled Sīrat Rasūl Allāh (Life of the messenger of God). Although no original copy remains, an edited and revised ver-sion by Ibn Hisham, a ninth-century Arab scholar and author, is still in publication today.
  2. The Quran, ed. Muhammad M. Pickthall (Medford, Mass.: Per¬seus Digital Library, n.d.).

Schools Are Now Allowing Children To Identify As Cats, Horses, Dinosaurs And All Sorts Of Other Things | End Of The American Dream

I seriously should have thought of this when I was a kid.  If I could have answered every question a teacher asked by meowing like a cat or roaring like a dinosaur, there is no way they could have ever accused me of getting an answer wrong.  And when it was time for a quiz or a test, I could have just responded to every question with a paw print.  Of course nobody would have actually been able to get away with such a thing decades ago.  When I was a kid, anyone that tried to pull this kind of a stunt would have been immediately marched down to the principal’s office.  But now we live at a time when we are supposed to allow people to identify as anything that they want.

Things have gotten particularly absurd in the United Kingdom.  According to an investigation that was conducted by the Telegraph, schools in the UK are now allowing children to identify as all sorts of things…

At a state secondary school in Wales, one student is said to ‘meow’ when asked questions by a teacher, rather than answering in English, the Telegraph reports.

In other schools, one apparently insists on being addressed as a dinosaur, one claims to identify as a horse while another is said to wear a cape and demands to be acknowledged as a moon.

In the old days, teachers knew how to deal with this kind of nonsense.

But today they are instructed not to correct the children because that would be “discriminatory”

Pupils claim teachers are ‘not allowed to get annoyed’ about such behaviour in case it is seen as being discriminatory.

However, lessons are reportedly becoming completely derailed by these interactions, impacting the quality of their classmates’ education.

So these teachers in the UK literally have to sit there and make the best of it when students respond to their questions with “animal noises”

In some reported instances, classes have faced severe disruption as pupils insist on answering teacher’s questions and communicating via animal noises.

I couldn’t take that.

If I was told that I had to allow students to make animal noises all day, I would just quit.

Apparently one student that identifies as “a cat” has been doing this for three years

In a particularly disruptive case, the newspaper spoke to a student in Wales who claimed a classmate had identified as a cat for three years.

The pupil complained: “When they answer questions, they meow rather than answer a question in English.

Are you kidding me?

In the old days, that kid would have been corrected on day one.

But these days you are not allowed to say anything.

That just wouldn’t be proper.

In fact, a 13-year-old girl was recently called “despicable” by her teacher when she confronted a classmate that identifies as “a cat”…

A 13-year-old girl was called “despicable” by her teacher at a Church of England school in the United Kingdom on Friday after asking a classmate how she identifies as a cat.

The schoolgirl and her friend were reprimanded by their teacher at Rye College in East Sussex at the end of an eighth-grade “life education” class, where they were told that they could “be who you want to be and how you identify is up to you,” The Telegraph reported.

Here in the United States, we are moving very rapidly in the same direction.

In fact, we just learned that public school teachers in New York are now being instructed to keep “children’s gender transitions a secret from parents in some cases”…

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) released 42 pages of new guidance for public schools Monday that includes a section about keeping children’s gender transitions a secret from parents in some cases.

The report, titled “Creating a Safe, Supportive, and Affirming School Environment for Transgender and Gender Expansive Students,” maintains that a student’s gender identity should be based on the student’s own assertion and that administrators should keep such information from families if they deem it necessary.

Can you believe that?

How do you think parents that have been purposely deceived by teachers will react once they find out the truth?

The stage is being set for some very messy lawsuits.

And sometimes allowing students to identify as whatever they want can have some really tragic consequences.

For example, earlier today I read about a 12-year-old girl that was brutally raped at a middle school in New Mexico

The diary entry referred back to an incident in October 2021, when her daughter Ray*, a 6th grader at ASK Academy charter school in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, was allegedly raped inside the girls’ bathroom by an older biological male student.

When the male student first entered the girls’ restroom, Ray said she was washing her hands and didn’t take particular notice of the student’s sex, nor was she aware of his “gender identity.”

But before she knew it, the male student walked over to her, pinned her against the counter, and wrestled her to the floor. After hitting her head, he allegedly held her down, ripped her pants, and raped her.

I’m sorry, but if I see a man try to follow a young lady into a restroom there is going to be a problem.

As a society, we have lost all common sense.

If I say that I am a chicken, that does not make me a chicken.

But now we are teaching our children that they can “identify” as anything that they want.

When I say that time is short, I am not exaggerating one bit.

The social cohesiveness of our society is literally coming apart at the seams all around us.

The inmates are running the asylum at this point, and we are raising an entire generation of children that are going to be completely and totally messed up if they ever get the opportunity to become adults.

Caviezel worked with several former federal agents and 30 Navy SEALS while filming in Colombia.

During the interview, Jim Caviezel implicated several US agencies in child sex trafficking and worse.

Steve Bannon: Do you believe that that’s part of the senior government apparatus just does not want to touch this? They profit off it. They don’t mind if it happens. I mean, why would DHS when when they’re in charge and like you said, there’s five drug agents to every one human trafficking agent… It’s my opinion I don’t know what Jim’s opinion is, but it’s definitely my opinion that this is something they don’t want to solve…

Jim Caviezel: …You might have 14 people in the room and they all want you, but two have big enough voices where they can shut down those twelve. And so right now, I don’t think it was smart for Bud Light to somebody woke up in the morning and said, “Hey, let’s put this transgender on our beer can.” Okay? And then Target is looking going, “Wow, look at all the billions they’re losing. We got to do this, too.” Obviously, something’s going on, right?… The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. What monastery are they from?…

Let’s go back to Ms. Rodas. She comes out and says, 85,000 children are missing. That’s damn near a Rose Bowl stadium. And I think it’s a lot more than that. After I talked to Tim and many of them, they were saying, Jim, these are small numbers. Okay, fine. But that’s not newsworthy the next day. Like, you don’t want to pick that up? And then I started noticing that’s a tell. But it’s a huge tell. It’s over and over. Every time something trafficking comes out, next day, nothing. Nobody wants to talk about this story. Nothing. But I went through this on The Passion of the Christ. Yes. I was told every day that this…

This is the most important film. This is why movies were supposed to be made. This is why I wanted to become an actor. I wanted to do things to bring the light on evil. And this is a perfect good versus evil film…

But while we were doing this, I had a really great team around me (in Colombia) But all of a sudden, they disappeared. They saved 200 children in the middle of this whole thing,

Steve Bannon: Tim’s team was working the film down there. Those guys go out and they save they saved 200 children while we were down there. This is the power of this movie… Okay, go to angel.com/WarRoom to get your tickets. You got to take your friends on 4 July… Look, you’ve got all these other issues – about harvesting and all this apparatus. You say the alphabet agencies are here are involved somehow. You’re meeting with people. You want hearings, you want investigations, you want whistleblowers, you want everybody to start coming…

Jim Caviezel: I want media to do what Laura Logan’s doing. That woman is a hero. She puts herself right into hell and she goes out and she doesn’t just say, hey, they told you to just read these today…

Steve Bannon: Would you say? Now, if we could organize, get all the media and by the way, Lara Logan is going to be the show later in the week. If we get all these if we… and you would take them down and you would show them…

Jim Caviezel: I would love for them to meet a lot of these agents. And that can be provided for them, but they have to go into hell to see it, and then going into the Dark Web to get…

Steve Bannon: Can we help to arrange that?

Jim Caviezel: I think that would be amazing. I think there’s Jason Jones would be a great guy to go to. And then all the connect oh, that would be awesome.

Tucker Carlson incinerates Hunter Biden plea deal in newest Twitter episode: ‘A lifetime of sins just washed away in an instant’ – Conservative Review

Tucker Carlson released another scathing episode of his Twitter show and took aim straight at Hunter Biden after he agreed to a plea deal and got a slap on the wrist.

The president’s son reportedly agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges and will receive probation and have to pay the taxes he owes. He will also enter into a diversion program over charges related to lying on a federal form when applying for a gun license.

“As in most of the developing world, it’s safer to be the president’s son than his opponent,” wrote Carlson in the description of his latest Twitter episode.

“This morning Hunter Biden pleaded guilty to pretty much nothing. Biden pled to two misdemeanor tax evasion charges then entered a diversion on a federal gun charge. That’s it. As far as Merrick Garland’s Justice Department is concerned Hunter Biden is done,” said Carlson on the show.

“There was no pre-dawn raid carried out live simultaneously on CNN, there was no perp walk, no handcuffs, no press conference. Above all there was no felony. Hunter Biden who broke federal gun laws can still carry a gun. It’s like it all never happened,” he added.

“In fact the Justice Department just baptized Hunter Biden. A lifetime of sins washed away in an instant,” Carlson said. “It was a secular miracle!”

He went on to emphasize that Hunter Biden got special treatment because he’s a son of President Joe Biden and mocked the White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Carlson left Fox News in April and began publishing his own version of his very popular show on Twitter. He received tens of millions of views while Fox News has struggled to fill his time slot and has suffered in ratings without him.

He later accused Fox News of fraud and breach of contract over the circumstances surrounding his exit from the cable news network.

Hunter Biden is expected in federal court in the next few days over the plea deal.

Here’s the video from Tucker Carlson:

What really happened at the White House this week? | #5 – YouTube

What does the Alphabet Mafia have to do with Marxism, and why would the White House promote either? What appears to be a senseless celebration of se*ual anarchy is actually part of an old strategy. In this episode of “Ideas Have Consequences” Larry Alex Taunton connects the dots from Hungarian political theorist Georg Lukács to the tactics he introduced to destroy America.

A Change of Name | VCY America

And it shall be at that day, saith the Lord, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali; for I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name. (Hosea 2:16-17)

That day has come. We view our God no more as Baal, our tyrant lord and mighty master, for we are not under law but under grace. We now think of Jehovah, our God, as our Ishi, our beloved husband, our lord in love, our next-of-kin in bonds of sacred relationship. We do not serve Him less obediently, but we serve Him for a higher and more endearing reason. We no longer tremble under His lash but rejoice in His love. The slave is changed into a child and the task into a pleasure.

Is it so with thee, dear reader? Has grace cast out slavish fear and implanted filial love? How happy are we in such an experience! Now we call the Lord’s day a delight, and worship is never a weariness. Prayer is now a privilege, and praise is a holiday. To obey is heaven; to give to the cause of God is a banquet. Thus have all things become new. Our mouth is filled with singing and our heart with music. Blessed be our heavenly Ishi forever and ever.

More than Mere Words | VCY America

I will give you the sure mercies of David. (Acts 13:34)

Nothing of man is sure; but everything of God is so. Especially are covenant mercies sure mercies, even as David said “an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and sure.”

We are sure that the Lord meant His mercy. He did not speak mere wards: there is substance and truth in every one of His promises. His mercies are mercies indeed. Even if a promise seems as if it must drop through by reason of death, yet it never shall, for the good Lord will make good His word.

We are sure that the Lord will bestow promised mercies on all His covenanted ones. They shall come in due course to all the chosen of the Lord. They are sure to all the seed, from the least of them unto the greatest of them. We are sure that the Lord will continue His mercies to His own people. He does not give and take. What He has granted us is the token of much more. That which we have not yet received is as sure as that which has already come; therefore, let us wait before the Lord and be still. There is no justifiable reason for the least doubt. God’s love, and word, and faithfulness are sure. Many things are questionable, but of the Lord we sing—

For his mercies shall endure

Ever faithful, ever sure.

Mercy and Grace | Daily Devotionals by Thoughts about God

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” Hebrews 4:16

Though prayer has been a vital, integral part of my life since I became a Christian, I am always discovering new challenges and new facets of prayer. I find one of the most powerful, exciting and fulfilling privileges God has given to man to be that of prayer based on the authority of God’s Word.

Man instinctively prays, even if only to false gods built of sticks and stones. Whenever he is faced with tragedy, heartache, sorrow or danger, he prays.

There is a serious danger in this “ignorant” kind of praying, however. It is a well-established fact of philosophy and history that man always assimilates the moral character of the object he worships. People who have prayed to gods of blood, fire and war have become militaristic, ruthless and sadistic.

This same principle applies to the Christian, who can pray to the one true God. “As we behold His [Christ’s] face, we are changed into the same image from glory to glory.” This explains the scriptural emphasis of praying worshipfully to the only true, righteous, holy and loving God.

In spite of this potential metamorphosis, however, the lives of few Christians today are impotent and fruitless compared to those of the first century. This is because the average Christian spends so little time at the throne of grace, so little time beholding the face of our Lord. And, as a result, he does not really believe that mercy and grace are available to enable him to live a supernatural life.

Bible ReadingHebrews 3:1-6

Thought for Today: Knowing I can come boldly to the throne of grace and receive mercy, cleansing, forgiveness and help for my every need, challenge and opportunity – from my Lord Jesus Himself, our great high priest – I will spend more time in His presence and not be satisfied with an impotent, fruitless life.

Israel to Announce Approval of 4,000 New Homes to Be Built in Judea and Samaria
Israeli media reported this week that Israel is expected to soon announce the approval of more than 4,000 new homes in the biblical heartland . Unsurprisingly, the media pounced on the development, and rushed to condemn Israel for advancing what the White House calls “an obstacle to peace and the advancement of the two-state solution.” As Christians, any time new homes are built in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria, we should celebrate and show our public support of Israel’s sovereignty over her homeland. After all, Israeli communities expanding in the land of Israel just makes sense.

Bootlicking in Beijing

Biden and his foreign policy team keep failing on the fortitude front.

Emmy Griffin

Secretary of State Antony Blinken traveled to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) over the weekend, fulfilling the much-anticipated trip originally planned in February. The U.S. postponed the original visit due to a giant spy balloon flying over the continental U.S. The subsequent ire on China’s part has been unsuccessfully happy-talked by the Biden administration, and tensions between the U.S. and China have continued to deteriorate.

Those tensions have come in many forms: shooting down the spy balloon, fighting over a potential U.S. TikTok ban, Chinese military aggression in the South China Sea, and China beefing up a spy base in Cuba. The aggression has been mainly on China’s part, though we’d also point out that the U.S. is building spy bases on reefs in the South China Sea just like China is. The PRC’s aggression has a purpose: to test our commander-in-chief’s resolve. Each act has been a test that President Joe Biden has failed.

This weekend’s meetings seem to be no different. China scorned and berated Blinken while no actual progress was made on easing tensions. In fact, instead of presenting the PRC with representatives from an equally powerful country — and one that didn’t unleash a deadly pandemic on the world — Biden and Blinken bent the knee.

First, Biden — who has publicly talked about the Chinese spy balloon as being a spy balloon, and whose own officials have said it was a spy balloon with remote control capabilities from China — backtracked and instead repeated PRC talking points.

At his first campaign rally for the 2024 presidential run, Biden took a question about Blinken’s visit and said: “China has some legitimate difficulties … unrelated to the United States. And I think one of the things that that balloon caused was not so much that it got shot down, but I don’t think the leadership knew where it was and knew what was in it and knew what was going on. I think it was more embarrassing than it was intentional.”

China knows every move that its citizens make, but it had no idea where the spy balloon was or why it was moving in figure-eight circles over American military bases as our media tracked it across the entire continent? Yeah, right!

For his part, Blinken had to take a verbal lashing from China’s top diplomat. Wang Yi made it clear that all the tensions between the two countries were America’s doing and that it was the U.S. that had to make the choice “between dialogue and confrontation, and cooperation and conflict.” Presumably, this particular remark was an illusion to the U.S.‘s ambiguous stance on Taiwan.

Blinken replied with a statement: “We do not support Taiwan independence. We remain opposed to any unilateral changes to the status quo by either side.”

This is a continuation of this administration’s flip-flopping on policy regarding Taiwan. Team Biden usually airs on the side of pro-Taiwan independence and then ends up walking it back.

Perhaps, as some sources have suggested, this more supplicating stance toward Beijing stems from the reported panic on the part of the Pentagon at the prospect of a war with China. But perhaps there is a more corrupt reason. Many Republicans are irate at the weakness the Biden administration is displaying toward China. Representative Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), referring to the ever-more-damning evidence of influence peddling and corruption from President Biden and his family members, stated: “Biden has been anything but tough on China. It seems he’s compromised, which is what the evidence reviewed by the House Oversight Committee suggests.”

Whatever the reason, bootlicking and groveling at the feet of China isn’t going to produce progress on the foreign relations front that is desirable for the American people and our allies. This posture of cowardice and appeasement is going to further deplete U.S. interests both economically and politically and will probably not prevent outright war.

Executive News Summary

Hunter Biden will plead guilty, urban crime on Juneteenth, the crisis of America’s teens, and more.

Thomas Gallatin & Jordan Candler

Cross-Examination

  • Hunter Biden will plead guilty: In a move that will likely keep him from doing any jail time, Hunter Biden has been charged with and will plead guilty to two tax misdemeanors and the illegal possession of a gun. This follows years of a pathetic imitation of an investigation in which Joe Biden’s Justice Department clearly drug its feet on pursuing any criminal charge against the president’s derelict son. With political heat and public pressure rising over the Biden family’s apparent bribery scandal, combined with the DOJ’s obvious targeting of Donald Trump, it now looks like this action is intended to deflect the growing negative pressure on the agency. However, if it is as it appears, and Hunter gets little other than a slap on the wrist, then the cries over Washington’s two-tiered justice system will only get louder.
  • Urban crime on Juneteenth: The official celebration of slavery ending in America was marred by deadly violence in several cities. The fact that the mainstream media has largely ignored these stories — or the race of anyone involved — speaks volumes. In the Chicago suburb of Willowbrook, one person was fatally shot and almost two dozen others were wounded during a “large gathering of people” late in the evening. Meanwhile, during a Juneteenth festival in Asheville, North Carolina, two people were injured in a shooting. St. Louis, Baltimore, Milwaukee, and many other Democrat-run cities, where violent crime has been rising, all experienced holiday violence. Nationwide, at least 12 died and more than 100 were injured in what CBS calls “mass shootings” over the Juneteenth weekend. The media isn’t saying what race the perpetrators and victims were, but Juneteenth gatherings are predominantly black. In any case, it sure seems odd to celebrate the end of slavery by killing each other.
  • The crisis of America’s teens: According to recent polling from the University of Michigan, the troubling rise in teenage depression and suicide coincides with the rise of social media. But first, data from the CDC observes that prior to 2007, the rate of teen suicide had held relatively steady, but from 2007 to 2017 the rate of teen suicide jumped by 60%. Furthermore, the Pew Research Center found that over that same time span, teen depression rates rose by 59%. What UM’s research observes is that the rise in teen depression coincides with the introduction of the smartphone and 24/7 access to social media. Psychologist Dr. Jean Twenge observes, “There’s no question that [social media and screen time] is the primary cause of the increase in teen depression now.” Twenge adds: “It’s by far the largest change in teens’ everyday lives over the past 10 to 12 years. Nothing else even comes close.” The solution is simple: Strictly limit a teen’s screen time. Obviously, that’s easier said than done, but their lives may depend on it.
  • Maryland’s woke governor: Maryland Democrat Governor Wes Moore decided to blast parental rights advocates working to get Marxist-based critical race theory books and pornographic books removed from student reading lists. According to Moore, it’s akin to “castrating” kids. He argued that efforts to ban these controversial books from student reading lists is an effort to tell “other kids that they shouldn’t understand their own power,” which is “castrating them.” Ironically, woke leftist ideologues like Moore are the ones guilty of promoting a dangerous and twisted ideology that literally castrates children.
  • Teacher snatches crucifix necklace: A middle school teacher in Tennessee issued an apology to a student for infringing on the student’s religious rights. This past April, the teacher in question suddenly and publicly removed a student’s neckless adorned with a cross he was wearing while attending the school’s book fair. Following the incident, the student’s parents contacted the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), which in turn sent a letter to the school warning that the teacher’s actions violated the student’s constitutional rights. The school quickly responded with an apology from the administration and the teacher in question to the student and his mother. Anti-religious intolerance can happen anywhere, even in the Bible Belt.

The Leftmedia Loathes a Certain Kennedy

Now that an unorthodox Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is challenging Joe Biden, it’s open season for the media.

Douglas Andrews

So much for Camelot. So much for the mainstream media’s spit-swapping love affair with the Kennedys.

The old man was a bootlegger? No problem, says the press. President John F. Kennedy may have stolen the 1960 election with suspicious electoral wins in Illinois and Texas? No problem. As president, he carried on an 18-month affair with a teenage girl concurrently with a two-and-a-half-year affair he’d been having with a mobster’s girlfriend? No problem. The president’s brother, Attorney General Robert Kennedy, authorized the FBI to extensively bug and wiretap Martin Luther King Jr.? No problem. The attorney general and the president both had affairs with Marilyn Monroe? No problem. Their younger brother, Senator Teddy Kennedy, drove drunk off a bridge at Chappaquiddick and caused the death of a young woman named Mary Jo Kopechne? No problem.

But the son of the late Bobby Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., dares to challenge a woefully corrupt and decrepit Democrat incumbent for the 2024 nomination? Whoa, there, we’ve got ourselves a big problem.

Barring some unusual circumstance — such as a challenge from Failed State of California Governor Gavin Newsom — Joe Biden will win the Democrat nomination for president at the party’s national convention in Chicago next August. Virtually every influential Democrat is supporting him over two unlikely challengers.

Two exceptions to that widespread if not exactly enthusiastic Democrat support would be Twitter cofounder Jack Dorsey and former Democrat pol Tulsi Gabbard, who have also expressed support for him. At first blush, one might consider such endorsements as these ludicrous, especially coming from a well-known leftist like Dorsey. But, really, who else is there, Joe Biden?

In any case, as The New York Times reports: “Those upstart rivals include Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the anti-vaccine activist with a celebrated Democratic lineage who has emerged with unexpected strength in early polls even as he spreads conspiracy theories and consorts with right-wing figures and billionaire donors. Mr. Kennedy’s support from Democrats, as high as 20 percent in some surveys, serves as a bracing reminder of left-leaning voters’ healthy appetite for a Biden alternative, and as a glaring symbol of the president’s weaknesses.”

In another Times attack piece, the headline reads, “Robert Kennedy Jr., With Musk, Pushes Right-Wing Ideas and Misinformation,” while the body copy dutifully reveals “a host of false statements,” including the “bioweapon” status of COVID-19 and the connection between gun violence and psychiatric drug use. Kennedy has also blamed the CIA for the assassination of his uncle on November 22, 1963.

Twenty percent of Democrat support, though, is a long way from 51%, but that doesn’t mean RFK Jr. can’t make Biden’s life miserable between now and the nomination and mortally wound his campaign ahead of the general election on November 5, 2024. And that’s why the Leftmedia is circling the wagons around the 80-year-old Biden and taking potshots at Kennedy — who, at 69, is no spring chicken either.

As the New York Post’s Ashley Rindsberg notes: “In lieu of actual facts, the Times presents ‘fact-checks,’ claiming, for instance, that Kennedy advanced a conspiracy theory by questioning the outcome of the 2004 Bush-Kerry election. Guess who else questioned the validity of that election? The New York Times in a lengthy November 2004 editorial.”

Rindsberg continues: “The same day as the Times hit piece, The Washington Post weighed in with a 3,600-word bruiser. In its first sentence, the article claims that Kennedy ‘campaigns on the idea that powerful people have been working in secret to deceive you.’”

It’s one thing, for example, for Kennedy to express strong concerns about the COVID vaccines; it’s another for his Leftmedia detractors to imply that he’s nothing more than a crank.

“Conspiratorial thinking is not just a right-wing phenomenon,” said former Biden press secretary and current MSNBC host Jen Psaki. “It’s found across the political spectrum, including among self-described Democrats.”

Get a load Washington Post columnist Matt Bai’s headline from last month: “His Name is Kennedy. His Campaign is Pure Trump.”

Ouch. Pure Trump. Talk about a low blow. In other words, the Post is accusing Kennedy of returning the nation to the days of a great economy, low inflation, a respected foreign policy, and effective border security.

Unless by “Pure Trump” they mean that Junior sends out mean tweets. In which case, he doesn’t stand a chance with suburban women.

Come to think about it, it’s only natural that the Leftmedia and, by extension, the Democrat establishment would hate Kennedy. Contrast his willingness to question conventional leftist orthodoxy with the Democrats’ fringy, anti-science beliefs on transgenderism and abortion and COVID, and contrast his ardently non-authoritarian streak with the Democrats increasingly pro-censorship, pro-authoritarian ideology.

Indeed, these two are mutually incompatible. Even though the one has the Kennedy surname.

We’re the Product, and They’re Spying on Us

A treasure trove of our personal information is the price we now pay for interacting on the Internet.

Michael Swartz

We’ve said it often enough: The reason social media is free is because you’re the product. Put another way, you and your fellow social media users are being delivered by the particular platform to its advertisers in exchange for their advertising dollars.

In this era of Internet dependence, we willingly and sometimes unwillingly make a treasure trove of our personal information available to vendors. This includes our behaviors, habits, and preferences — all of which can be collected and sold.

And email lists are so 2003. Search to buy a new truck, as this author did recently, and suddenly your social media feed is filled with ads for trucks from every possible manufacturer. It’s the price we pay — well, besides the wasted time — and we’ve come to accept this cost as the price of doing business online.

However, a report requested in 2021 from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and made available to Congress last year shows that the sheer volume of commercially available data out there has brought us to a point where the government doesn’t even have to work to spy on us. The powers that be have conflated the idea of “publicly available information” with the availability of “commercially available information,” some of which isn’t intended for public consumption. This report, which was declassified last week, shows that the federal government is eagerly purchasing the information, using our taxpayer dollars to, in essence, spy on us.

So much for “the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects.” So much for “unreasonable searches and seizures.”

“I’ve been warning for years that if using a credit card to buy an American’s personal information voids their Fourth Amendment rights, then traditional checks and balances for government surveillance will crumble,” said Oregon Democrat Senator Ron Wyden, who initially requested the report in 2021.

“Intelligence agencies are flouting the law and buying information about Americans that Congress and the Supreme Court have made clear the government should not have,” added Sean Vitka, an attorney for the advocacy group Demand Progress.

And despite the fact that identifying information is supposedly stripped from the data, as Byron Tau and Dustin Volz of The Wall Street Journal point out, “Privacy advocates and researchers say that in the case of geolocation information on phones or cars, a name can often be inferred: Individuals typically park their cars at night and set down their phones at their homes. In the case of certain internet data, browsing behavior also can reveal personal information.”

Needless to say, it’s a case of the public giving an inch and the government taking a mile.

“In the wrong hands,” the ODNI’s advisers warn, the same mountain of data the government is quietly accumulating could be turned against Americans to “facilitate blackmail, stalking, harassment, and public shaming,” writes Dell Cameron at Wired, and indeed there are plenty of “wrong hands” out there. The news becomes even worse when hackers are involved, such as the group of Russians that exploited a software vulnerability in a popular app to conduct ransomware attacks on entities that included local, state, and federal government agencies. Two “entities” associated with the Department of Energy were among the victims. Given the government’s avaricious appetite for our personal data, it becomes an easy and soft target for these hackers, who often hail from Russia and Eastern Europe and are therefore much harder to prosecute.

Knowing all this, the question becomes: What can be done about it? The public is clamoring for a solution — recent polling reveals that half of voters now believe the FBI routinely spies on average citizens, which has chopped its favorability rate to the point where just 57% of voters have a favorable impression of the agency. (Here, it should be noted that the survey was conducted just before the latest indictment of Donald Trump, meaning that those polled may now have even less trust in their government. If that’s possible.)

Finally, and quoting the DNI report: “The government would never have been permitted to compel billions of people to carry location tracking devices on their persons at all times, to log and track most of their social interactions, or to keep flawless records of all their reading habits. Yet smartphones, connected cars, web tracking technologies, the Internet of Things, and other innovations have had this effect without government participation.”

If this were a more perfect union, our government wouldn’t participate in this collection. Frankly, what we do on the Internet is none of its business. Our data might be for sale, but why would a government feel the need to purchase it?

The Desperate Need for Black Fathers

CNN’s Father’s Day piece lauding black dads is missing some really important context.

Nate Jackson

We often talk about fatherhood in our humble shop because family is one of the essential pillars of Liberty and active fathers are critical for healthy families.

This past Sunday was Father’s Day, and one of the ways CNN recognized the occasion was an inspirational story in its “Life, But Better” section. The title certainly is uplifting: “Black dads are more likely to play, dress and share a meal with their child, data shows.”

The data seem to back it up:

Seventy percent of Black fathers who live with their children were most likely to have bathed, dressed, changed or helped their child with the toilet every day, compared with their White (60%) or Hispanic (45%) counterparts, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s 2013 National Health Statistics Report.

Those Black fathers were also most likely to have eaten a meal with their children, the data showed.

There’s just one problem. It’s fake news.

Not entirely, of course; there’s a lot of legitimate good news in the story. For example, CNN’s “science and wellness” writer, Madeline Holcombe, features the community work of the Black American Dad Foundation, notes how important it is for fathers to be engaged at home, and tells stories of several black men who were positively impacted by active dads.

All of these things are true or needed. Featuring the work of a seemingly good foundation that aims to change the way black fathers see themselves and are seen by others could play a big role in changing things for the better. And heaven knows we need more good news.

But arguably the key information in that first quoted paragraph is this phrase: “Black fathers who live with their children.” Sadly, that does not describe the vast majority of black families, which makes Holcombe guilty of little more than cherry-picked statistics for the purposes of propaganda.

As our “fact-checker” friends might say, Holcombe’s claim is “missing context.” Here’s some of that context: Asians have the highest rate of kids living with their fathers at 84%. Next is whites at 77%. Yet just 37% of black kids live with their dads.

We wish it weren’t so, but that seems to undermine the premise that black fathers are models of involvement.

There are at least two significant reasons for the unfortunate and socially destructive truth that most black dads are absentee fathers. First, the federal government’s “Great Society” is one big financial incentive for single moms and a lot of Democrat votes. Second, it’s now a self-perpetuating cycle, as fatherless boys tend to become absentee “baby daddies” themselves.

That is, in part, an intentional goal.

Back in September 2020, in the wake of the summer of Black Lives Matter riots, crime, and murder to “protest” George Floyd’s death, we discovered that BLM’s official website had quietly removed some anti-family language from its website. The organization’s Marxist goal? “Disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure” by replacing families with “‘villages’ that collectively care for one another.”

CNN’s Holcombe conveys the same thinking: “Even when a biological father isn’t present, the role can be filled by other men who care about the child — an important concept in African American culture.” Clearly, Hillary Clinton’s It Takes a Village model is prevailing.

Strong communities are great, but often what happens among widespread fatherlessness is an inner-city culture of poverty, drugs, gangs, and violence. Thousands of blacks are murdered by other blacks every year. Thousands more commit other crimes that land them in jail.

Holcombe sees this as systemic racism. “Given the history of racism in the United States,” she writes, “some Black fathers may face disproportionate incarceration rates or have difficulty in obtaining jobs to provide for their families.” Disproportionate criminal behavior can lead to incarceration. That’s not racism.

We’d have a better and stronger country if Holcombe’s portrayal of black fathers was actually widely true. We’d see the same result if more black families believed, as Holcombe recommends, that two-parent homes are worth building. So, here’s hoping that this becomes more than statistical manipulation and wishful thinking.

Can You Define Leftism?

Leftism is the attempt to destroy the past — every value and every institution.

Dennis Prager

After a speech in Romania last week, I was asked a question by a young member of the audience that, remarkably, I don’t remember ever having been asked: What is leftism?

The question seems so simple and so basic to understanding contemporary life that you would think it would be posed frequently — and if it weren’t, the reason would be that almost anyone who cares about society would already know how to answer it. But the question is rarely posed, and few know how to answer it.

“What is leftism?” is not at all the same as “What is liberalism?” Leftism and liberalism share almost no values. Indeed, perhaps the greatest tragedy of America today is that liberals do not vote their values. Leftists vote their values, and conservatives vote their values. But liberals vote for left-wing values, almost none of which they hold.

To cite but two examples: Liberals do not believe in racial segregation, whereas the left does: all-black dorms, all-black graduation exercises, different standards for blacks, etc. And liberals do not believe that males who say they are females should be allowed to compete in women’s sports; only leftists do.

If you ask people, “What is leftism?” most will respond by listing left-wing positions, not by defining it. People confuse identifying left-wing positions with knowing what leftism is. But naming left-wing positions is not the same as defining leftism.

To be fair, many people, including conservatives, cannot define conservatism either. In fact, the inability of millions of American conservatives to define conservatism is a major reason so many conservative parents don’t have conservative children. (See my two-part column, “Explaining Conservatism.”)

Ironically, if conservatives had not defined conservatism but had only defined leftism, that alone would have ensured that many of their children would never have embraced left-wing views. The moment you understand leftism, almost everything that is happening in and to America at the present time becomes clear. And the moment that becomes clear, most people reject the Left.

What, then, is leftism?

Leftism is the attempt to destroy the past — every value and every institution, the good as well as what it regards as the bad.

That is why leftists, by definition, hate conservatism. Conservatism seeks to conserve the best from the past. The Left seeks to destroy the past, including the best.

The first of the modern left-wing revolutions, the French Revolution, quite consciously sought to destroy every major institution and value of French society — not just the monarchy but God, religion, the legal system, traditional notions of good and evil, the calendar, the old way of telling time, the old weights and measures, and even the names of the days of the week. In other words, the past. Just like the Left in contemporary America, the leftists of the French Revolution toppled statues — in their case, the statues of every king of France.

The next major left-wing revolution, the Russian, did the same. As the Soviet dissident joke went, “In the Soviet Union the future is known; it’s the past which is always changing.”

Now you can begin to understand leftism.

In a very real sense, today’s leftism began in the 1960s with the infamous clarion call, “Never trust anyone over 30.” That phrase meant nothing less than “value nothing from the past.” Precisely what all leftism has been about — from France under its revolutionaries to Russia under the Bolsheviks to China under Mao to America under the Left.

That is why, as I have said almost every day on my radio show for years, “The Left destroys everything it touches.”

Whatever its noble-sounding rhetoric, the Left stands for nothing and therefore builds nothing (other than state power). Aside from state power, it only destroys.

Leftism in music, art, sculpture, and architecture destroyed everything beautiful and noble that had been created over all the preceding centuries.

It is destroying the universities, the high schools, and the elementary schools.

It is destroying science. More and more medical schools, for example, no longer speak of “pregnant women” but of “birthing persons.” The American Medical Association has come out in opposition to listing the sex of newborns on their birth certificates; children, the AMA holds, will eventually decide whether they are male or female, neither or both.

Like the French revolutionaries, it has redefined moral categories. It has substituted class and racial categories for moral ones. Good and evil have been replaced by black and white, male and female, rich and poor.

It is destroying the ideal of the nuclear family — a married man and woman with children. The Left has made war on “heteronormativity” and has redefined marriage.

And most telling — even the French Revolution did not conceive of this break with the past — the Left is working to destroy the distinction between man and woman.

Days before the 2008 presidential election, then-candidate Barack Obama told a wildly cheering crowd, “We are five days away form fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

That’s all the Left does: fundamentally transform. Destroying everything it touches is not a byproduct of leftism. It is its aim.

“One person’s idea of risk is another person’s idea of a great festival or Friday night for that matter, so we have to sort of embrace that with joy.” —Monkeypox Response Deputy Coordinator Demetre Daskalakis

“The state of Florida never provided medically necessary gender-affirming care to Duane Owen — causing her enormous suffering and violating her right to be free from cruel and unusual punishment for the more than 30 years she was in state custody.” —ACLU (“Owen was sentenced to death in 1986 after he was convicted of murdering a 14-year-old babysitter and a mother of two using a knife and a hammer, respectively. After murdering his victims, Owens raped their corpses.” —The Washington Free Beacon)

“It’s about telling other kids that they shouldn’t understand their own power. It’s castrating them.” —Maryland Governor Wes Moore regarding proscriptions on diabolical books

Race Bait

“Under the newly adopted policy, the AMA recognizes issues with using BMI [Body Mass Index] as a measurement due to its historical harm, its use for racist exclusion, and because BMI is based primarily on data collected from previous generations of non-Hispanic white populations.” —American Medical Association

Village Idiot

“Black liberation simply isn’t possible under capitalism. … White supremacy persists in part because of its relationship with capitalism, heteropatriarchy, ableism, and so on.” —former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick

Observations

“Barack Obama set minorities back by singling them out as victims instead of empowering them. In America, hard work and personal responsibility matter.” —former U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley

“If anyone should be standing and shouting at the mountaintops that America is not a racist country, it should be the man that Americans supported twice for the nomination and becoming president.” —Senator Tim Scott (R-SC)

“Which is more empowering for blacks? The message that they can make it if they work hard and that America is for people of all colors, or the clear implication that blacks somehow uniquely can’t make it at all without constant handouts from government and maybe even something like reparations? For 200 years, Democrats have been telling blacks they’re nothing without Democrats. We’re ‘rightly skeptical’ of that patronizing and divisive message.” —Nate Jackson

For the Record

“[Trump is] like a nine-year-old, defiant nine-year-old kid, who’s always pushing the glass toward the edge of the table, defying his parents to stop him from doing it. It’s a means of self-assertion and exerting his dominance over other people. And he’s a very petty individual who will always put his interests ahead of the country’s, his personal gratification of his ego, but our country can’t be a therapy session for a troubled man like this.” —former Attorney General Bill Barr

China Finalizing Plans to Put Troops 100 Miles from US Mainland a Day After Meeting with Biden Admin: Report | Western Journal

One day after Secretary of State Antony Blinken wrapped up talks with Chinese officials in Beijing, a new report said China is planning to base troops in Cuba.

The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that Cuba and China are in talks over the establishment of a military training facility that would be about 100 miles from Florida’s coast.

The report, based on what it said were “current and former U.S. officials” who were not named, said U.S. intelligence documents indicate the deal is in its final stages.

The Journal said the Biden administration is trying to persuade Cuba to back away from the project.

The White House declined to comment on the report, it said.

The sources were quoted as saying the fears of the project included China having a permanent base for troops in Cuba and an even more far-reaching campaign of intelligence gathering aimed at the United States.

The facility is part of China’s “Project 141” to expand military and logistical facilities around the world, the report said. The Journal said the plan was cited in what it summed up as “convincing but fragmentary” intelligence reports.

The new facility would add to China’s presence in Cuba, which consists of four jointly run eavesdropping stations, the report said, citing U.S. officials it did not name.

Prior to 2019, the Journal reported, there had been one Chinese spy site on the island. Chinese involvement in the sites increased that year when the number of eavesdropping locations increased, the report said.

On Monday, a State Department news release said that during Blinken’s meetings with Chinese officials Sunday and Monday, “The two sides discussed a range of global and regional security issues, including Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, the DPRK’s provocative actions, and U.S. concerns with PRC intelligence activities in Cuba,” using acronyms for the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, commonly known as North Korea, and the People’s Republic of China.

“The Secretary made clear that the United States will work with its allies and partners to advance our vision for a world that is free, open, and upholds the rules-based international order,” it said.

Earlier this month, the Biden administration said China has been spying on the U.S. from Cuba since 2019.

The Journal reported June 8 that a new agreement had been reached to establish a spy base, leading to a Biden administration official’s confession that the truth was worse.

“This is an ongoing issue and not a new development,” an official told the outlet June 10.

The official told the Journal at that time that China’s “intelligence collection facilities” in Cuba were upgraded in 2019.

Hunter Biden has agreed to plead guilty to multiple criminal charges according to CNN. The investigation into Hunter Biden has lasted five years.

CNN broke the story minutes ago:

“John, this five year long investigation now coming to head. We have learned from new court filings at the US. District Court here in Wilmington, Delaware, that Hunter Biden has agreed to plead guilty to multiple criminal charges. I’m going to walk you through this. One of these charges involves these are two counts of failing to file tax returns in a timely fashion. Those are misdemeanors. He’s also going to plead guilty to a charge of a firearm offense. This is the possession of a firearm while you are addicted to a controlled substance. Now, the firearm offense is going to be diverted. And what that means is that if he meets certain conditions, that charge will go away. This will be over a set period of time. Otherwise, it’s the tax misdemeanor charges that he has been charged with.”

The Biden Administration Has No Answer For Communist China Setting Up A Military Base In Cuba 90 Miles Off The Coast Of The United States • Now The End Begins

China and Cuba are negotiating to establish a new joint military training facility on the island, sparking alarm in Washington that it could lead to the stationing of Chinese troops and other security and intelligence operations just 100 miles off Florida’s coast, according to current and former U.S. officials.

Back in the early 1960’s, there was an incident called the Cuban Missile Crisis where the Kennedy administration brought the world to the edge of nuclear war with the Russians who had made an encampment in Cuba, a mere 90 miles from the US mainland. History would seem to be repeating itself as another Democrat, Joe Biden, is in office as Communist China announces plans for a military base in Cuba. Unlike Kennedy, the Joe Biden White House had no response when asked about this precarious situation earlier.

“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.” Revelation 16:12 (KJB)

One of the hallmarks of the Biden administration is an absolutely terrible foreign policy, perhaps the worst we’ve seen since the Jimmy Carter years. Speaking of that, did you know that the Biden administration is, right now, engaged is secret talks with Iran? The Gatestone Institute recently said “Nothing seems to stop the Biden administration from wanting to reward the ruling mullahs of Iran with a nuclear deal that will pave the way for the Islamist regime of Iran legally to obtain as many nuclear weapons as it likes, empower the ruling mullahs with billions of dollars, lift sanctions against their theocratic regime, allow them to rejoin the global financial system and enhance their legitimacy on the global stage.” Now you know their ‘plan’ for how to deal with Communist China in Cuba. Yikes.

Beijing Plans a New Training Facility in Cuba, Raising Prospect of Chinese Troops on America’s Doorstep

FROM THE WALL STREET JOURNAL: Discussions for the facility on Cuba’s northern coast are at an advanced stage but not concluded, U.S. intelligence reports suggest. The Biden administration has contacted Cuban officials to try to forestall the deal, seeking to tap in to what it thinks might be Cuban concerns about ceding sovereignty. Beijing’s effort to establish a military training facility in Cuba hasn’t been previously reported.

The White House declined to comment.

The heightened anxiety in Washington over China’s ambitions in the Caribbean and Latin America comes as the administration is seeking to tamp down broader tensions with Beijing that have been stoked by a host of other issues, including U.S. support for Taiwan. Secretary of State Antony Blinken was on a high-profile visit to China these past few days, meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

The trip appeared to halt a downward spiral in relations. But Blinken failed to secure China’s agreement to a U.S. proposal that the two countries resume military-to-military communications to avoid misunderstandings. He also raised U.S. concerns about Chinese intelligence activities in Cuba, according to a State Department statement.

U.S. officials said reference to the proposed new training facility in Cuba is contained in highly classified new U.S. intelligence, which they described as convincing but fragmentary. It is being interpreted with different levels of alarm among policy makers and intelligence analysts. The Wall Street Journal reported on June 8 that China and Cuba had reached an agreement in principle for a new eavesdropping site in Cuba; the White House characterized that reporting as inaccurate but didn’t elaborate. Two days later, the White House declassified intelligence to confirm publicly that Chinese intelligence collection facilities have existed in Cuba since at least 2019.

Current and former U.S. officials said a new military facility could provide China with a platform to potentially house troops permanently on the island and broaden its intelligence gathering, including electronic eavesdropping, against the U.S. READ MORE

Reports: Talks on China’s military facility in Cuba underway

Beijing has refuted a report by Wall Street Journal that claimed China and Cuba are negotiating to establish a new joint military training facility on the island located in United States’ backyard. This had sparked concerns in the oval office.
