Our culture wants complete sexual freedom but ignores the negative fallout that happens when those freedoms are abused.
A lawsuit was filed in Australia’s Federal Court on July 6, 2023, accusing pharmaceutical giants Pfizer and Moderna of dealing with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) without the requisite licenses. The court case, identified as Julian Fidge v. Pfizer Australia Pty Ltd & Anor, marks a milestone in the ongoing global discourse around the safety of the experimental COVID-19 vaccines.

“To paraphrase a line about the devil:
.. the greatest trick Pfizer and Moderna ever pulled was to convince the world their products don’t enter the nucleus, and alter chromosomal DNA, forever
With a heavy heart I can now share with you the new legal proceedings we launched on 6 July, naming Pfizer and Moderna as the Defendants; our planet’s new IG Farbens producing a more subtle Zyklon B (said with respect to those affected by the latter).
The Letters of Demand we sent to Pfizer, Moderna, the Office of the Gene Technology Regulator, and the TGA, contain an abundance of references referring to the long established science surrounding the real dangers these transfection products were always known to pose to humanity.”
The lawsuit led by Julian Gillespie LLB, B Juris, with instructing solicitor Katie Ashby-Koppens argue that the vaccines developed by Pfizer and Moderna, including both monovalent and bivalent vaccines, are or contain GMOs, and “that they have failed to apply for the necessary licenses.”
Central to this argument is the assertion that the lipid nanoparticle (LNP) -modRNA and -modDNA complexes present in the vaccines fulfill the Australian legal definitions of a genetically modified organism, pursuant to the Gene Technology Act 2000 (GT Act).
“In a nutshell: the LNP-modRNA complexes produced by Pfizer and Moderna satisfy Australian legal definitions for being properly deemed Genetically Modified Organisms, or GMOs. Almost identical legal definitions are found in many other countries, including the EU. There are over four decades of science acknowledging how easily synthetic and natural RNA can integrate with genomic DNA.
The subsequent discovery by Kevin McKernan of grossly excessive synthetic DNA contamination in the vials of both companies only makes a very bad situation much worse, as that modDNA also satisfies the same legal definitions for being yet another form of GMO, while possessing superior traits for effectively undergoing genomic integration, and DNA disregulation.
In Australia it is a serious criminal offence to ‘deal’ with GMOs without a GMO licence first being granted by the Office of the Gene Technology Regulator.”
Both Pfizer and Moderna have been accused of a ‘willful blindness’ to the legislative requirements. The lawsuits accuse the companies of bypassing the necessary processes to seek a GMO license from the Australian Office of the Gene Technology Regulator (OGTR) before pursuing provisional approval from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
AstraZeneca, another vaccine producer, is cited as a contrast, having properly sought a GMO License before seeking TGA approval for its COVID-19 vaccine.
“This constituted a gross and heinous failure by Australia’s Gene Technology Regulator, assisted by the Secretary of Health not pausing to ask whether these drugs were not always meant to be first regulated by the OGTR, prior to being possibly cleared to proceed to apply for provisional approval with the TGA.
This utter failure by GMO regulators occurred about the globe when the C19 drugs were hustled to the front of approval ques, where now thanks to their transparent failures we can thank them for ensuring the Human Genome has been irreparably poisoned.”
The lawsuit seeks an urgent injunction against Pfizer and Moderna to prevent any further ‘dealings’ with their products in Australia, which would effectively stop further vaccinations. Further to that, it also seeks to investigate what health officials and regulators knew about these products when they first came up for approval.
“If we can achieve that we can then start asking the real questions of what Brendan Murphy and his army of highly paid PhDs knew when Pfizer and Moderna first ‘came a knockin’, while also asking what Australia’s Gene Technology Regulator, Raj Buhla, was doing when these drug manufacturers turned up seeking approvals, where there has been two decades of established science showing these transfection products being perfectly suited for targeting and altering genomes. There is no room for pleas of ignorance; the actions of Murphy and Buhla amount to an intentional dereliction of duty rising to some form of criminal culpability.”
Further muddying the waters is the recent discovery by genomics expert Kevinn McKernan of extensive DNA cell-substrate contamination in both Pfizer’s and Moderna’s vaccines.

DNA Contamination
Compounding the above is the recent discovery by genomics expert Kevinn McKernan ofdangerously excessive DNA cell-substrate contamination. This discovery has now beenindependently verified by other internationally recognised laboratories using different vials, evidencing gross, pre-existing, and continuing global supply contamination by Pfizer and Moderna.
The synthetic DNA (modDNA) contamination is anywhere between 18-70 times above legal limits.
However, this contamination is much worse than contemplated by outdated regulations, as the modDNA is also encapsulated in LNPs, thus ensuring bio-distribution throughout human bodies, and transfection into cells of all major types of organs, including the brain, heart, ovaries, testes, liver, spleen, eyes, and unborn children.
For the purposes of the GT Act, this excessive contamination also fulfils the legal definitions for being correctly deemed Genetically Modified Organisms, and perhaps the worst type of GMO, as genomic integration with chromosomal DNA does not require reverse-transcription, and some of this modDNA (by Pfizer) has the opportunity of becoming ‘replication competent’ (self replicating) in certain persons known to be infected with SV40 related viruses.
Perversely, and as a strict matter of law, both Pfizer and Moderna were/are required to possess GMO Licences to ‘deal’ with their LNP-modDNA contamination in Australia, though any organisation responsible for such licensure (the OGTR in this instance) would never allow any product into their country that contains this form of GMO contamination. This form of GMO contamination alters the course of humanity, and what it means to be human.
By these proceedings the Applicant (Dr Julian Fidge) together with the legal team who discovered and created the proceedings (Julian Gillespie, Katie Ashby-Koppens and Peter Fam), now seek to present the above facts to the court.
In the event the court follows and accepts the evidence that the C-19 products contain GMOs, and as a consequence both Pfizer and Moderna are seen to be committing ongoing Serious Criminal Offences by dealing with GMOs in Australia without a licence, the court should find itself compelled to issue an Injunction under section 147 preventing Pfizer and Moderna from any further dealings in Australia, which outcome would also require the halt of any further use of the Pfizer and Moderna C-19 products in Australia.

Hunter and Joe Biden demanded $5 million each in exchange for forcing the Ukrainian leader to fire Shokin who was investigating Burisma Energy Company and Hunter Biden’s position at the company.

The major networks devoted “Zero seconds” on the Biden bribery allegations. ABC “News” simply skipped the IRS whistleblower hearing because it didn’t fit their narrative.

Well, here’s a shocker: On the same day that Twitter censored reporting on the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, the FBI reportedly told the social media giant that the contents of it were accurate.
I know, you would think, given that information, the platform wouldn’t have suppressed sharing of reportage on the scandal. But then, you would be surprised how willing and able our media are prepared to be in service of the Biden family. It was something to keep in mind as the events of Thursday unfolded.
In case you missed it, the latest bombshell about the laptop — fittingly reported by the New York Post, the same paper that originally broke the laptop scandal in October 2020 — was part of an astoundingly bad afternoon for President Joe Biden and his son.
Not much earlier, Republicans on the Senate Oversight Committee, led by Iowa GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley, released a document from an FBI informant who alleged Burisma executives told him that the Ukrainian energy conglomerate had paid $10 million in bribes to the Bidens.
While Hunter Biden’s strange dealings abroad had long been reported in the conservative media, it was the messages from Hunter’s laptop — left at a Delaware repair shop in 2019 and then never picked up — that began to drive home the point that the president’s only living son had been trading off his father’s name in an exceptionally untoward way for some time.
“Among them,” the Post notes, “was the revelation that Joe Biden — referred to as the ‘big guy’ — was penciled in for a 10% cut of proceeds from son Hunter and brother James Biden’s partnership with Chinese government-linked CEFC China Energy.”
Not only that, but if the laptop were genuine, his father had been dissembling about just how much he knew regarding his son and his international business dealings — which was, to hear Joe tell it, absolutely nothing.
Granted, his claim that he’d never talked to Hunter about what he was doing with overseas business dealings had a whiff of Captain Renault insisting he was shocked — shocked! — that gambling was going on in here, but the information on the laptop drove that home.
However, if you were on Twitter, generally the most important network in terms of disseminating news and views on American politics, you couldn’t distribute the article for two days.
That’s because the social media giant blocked distribution of the story for two days and locked the paper out of its account for two weeks in a standoff over whether information from the computers were “hacked materials.”
On Oct. 15, then-Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said the company’s “communication around our actions on the @nypost article was not great. And blocking URL sharing via tweet or DM with zero context as to why we’re blocking: unacceptable.”
In March 2021, he also told Congress the company doesn’t have a “censoring department” and the decision to curtail sharing of the reporting just before the 2020 election was a “total mistake.” Locking the Post out of their account was merely a “process error,” Dorsey said. But, as the paper noted, he wouldn’t attribute those mistakes or errors to anyone in particular.
That story gains an additional wrinkle with the news that, on Monday, Laura Dehmlow — section chief of the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force — told the House Judiciary Committee that Twitter was informed on the day that they started censoring the reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop that its contents were genuine.
“Somebody from Twitter essentially asked whether the laptop was real,” Dehmlow said in closed-door testimony Monday, according to the Post.
“And one of the FBI folks who was on the call did confirm that, ‘yes, it was,’ before another participant jumped in and said, ‘no further comment,’” she continued.
Not that they were going to share that information with the American public, mind you. As the Post noted, “The FBI’s non-public verification of the laptop occurred on Oct. 14, 2020, hours after The Post published a story detailing how an email showed Joe Biden met while vice president with an executive at Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings — contradicting his claims that he ‘never’ discussed foreign business dealings with his relatives.”
Now, of course, every major media organization worth its salt recognizes the contents of the laptop as genuine.
And at the same time, they all pretended, by the time they got around to “verifying it” — a few years after the FBI did, mind you — that it was no big deal.
None of these media organizations is going to do any self-reflection on the fact it whiffed so badly on branding the laptop disinformation (assuming it wasn’t intentional), nor are they going to seriously start asking Joe Biden about his claim during the Oct. 22, 2020, debate that the laptop was a “Russian plant,” referring to a letter signed by 51 former intelligence officials saying that the information on it had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” Because, again, all of this is no big deal to them.
Naturally, too, the same people who were crowing over the contents of the laptop being shared on social media are going to be crowing about the Republican members of the Senate Oversight Committee releasing a document detailing a conversation with an FBI informant who said the CEO and founder of Burisma — the energy giant that once had Hunter Biden on its board despite Hunter’s complete lack of experience with Eastern Europe or the energy sector — bragged about buying off two Bidens. During the conversations, the FBI informant expressed concern to Burisma CEO Myopia Zlochevsky that wire transfers to the Bidens might set off alarm bells in the United States. The source said Zlochevsky balked at any chance of being caught, saying he “did not send any funds directly to the ‘Big Guy‘ (which [the informant] understood was a reference to Joe Biden).”
The informant said Zlochevsky insisted that “it would take them (investigators) 10 years to find the records (i.e. illicit payments to Joe Biden).”
The kind of reporting that got? Take this headline in The Hill (which, unlike many establishment outlets, at least had a story about it): “Republicans release FBI form with unverified Biden-Burisma allegations.” An hour later, same publication: “FBI ‘expressly’ opposed GOP release of unverified Biden tip.”
Because the FBI and the media have never steered us wrong on the Bidens and their business dealings, right?
Thank heavens for our national big-government deep-state apparatus — and the media gatekeepers who stand watch with them to make sure that unverified, hacked, stolen, errant misinformation doesn’t fall into our hands without at least a smirking headline and a dismissive wave.

Fox News’ viewership has historically leaned right and favored Republican causes. While the company wears a conservative face on air, it appears that behind closed doors, Fox is willing to lean left or in whatever other direction the wind is blowing.
Insiders have revealed to Blaze Media that Fox will subsidize some of the very activist groups that despise and seek the ruin of the network’s viewers, evidencing a “complete disregard and hatred” for its core audience.
“Fox Giving” is an app in the company portal that facilitates charitable donations via the Canadian-based donation management platform Benevity. Fox will apparently match donations up to $1,000 to various organizations that satisfy the company’s criteria.
While on its face, this appears to be little more than an attempt at corporate beneficence, the company is willing to match donations to the Satanic Temple, the Trevor Project, Planned Parenthood (and local Planned Parenthood branches), and the Southern Poverty Law Center – radical leftist groups antipathetic to conservatives and the values they hold most dear.
The Satanic Temple is an atheistic leftist organization that has distributed satanic literature to children; publicly performed “unbaptisms”; sought to ensure that women can legally have their unborn children killed by way of their “religious abortion ritual“; and erected statues of Baphomet on government property.
The Southern Poverty Law Center is a leftist grievance organization that tends to characterize conservatives, parental rights groups, constitutionalists, and those critical of big government as extremists and bigots. For instance, last month, the SPLC deemed Moms for Liberty an “anti-government extremist group.” Fox, which the SPLC previously called a “megaphone” for far-right extremist groups, has even written up some of the SPLC’s various scandals in the past, including the 2012 incident when a gunman attacked the Family Research Council, which he noted he had seen on the SPLC’s “hate map.”
The Trevor Project is an activist group that purportedly seeks to “end suicide among LGBTQ young people,” but actively promotes gender ideology and woke propaganda. The group claims that “gender is a social construct” and holds fast to the notion that sex-change mutilations and cross-sex hormone therapies can be meaningful remedies for at-risk teens.
Planned Parenthood is not just in the business of exterminating the unborn, having executed nearly 9 million babies in its abattoirs since 1970, but is among the second-largest provider of cross-sex hormone therapy in the nation. The organization has battled Republicans’ pro-life legislation around the country and has long supported Democratic candidates.
At one time or another, Fox News has appeared critical of these groups and/or the agendas they help advance — those that revile Christianity, characterize conservative mothers as extremists, kill the unborn, and promote child sex-change mutilations.
However, according to two current Fox News employees and one former Fox News producer, all three of whom spoke to TheBlaze on the condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals from the company, these same groups have ostensibly been eligible for a charitable top-up from Fox.
One source provided screenshots confirming the allegations, and two sources provided corroborating testimony.
A Fox employee personally took Rikki Ratliff-Fellman, director of programming at Blaze Media, through the company portal and showed her some of the donation matches seen in the screenshots.
Ratliff-Fellman said, “I watched this source physically log in to their company portal at Myfox.okta.com to confirm the giving app and to see some of the questionable charities and the donation match option for myself to verify nothing was photoshopped.”
These insiders detailed how donations to the Satanic Temple, the SPLC, Planned Parenthood, and the Trevor Project would all receive 100% matching donations by Fox (i.e., $1,000 matching $1,000).
Planned Parenthood similarly gets a 100% donation match with funds ostensibly raised, in part, with the help of Fox News cable subscriptions.
One current employee stressed, “Fox pretends to care about Christians, but some of the stuff they push internally suggests otherwise. Glory holes, trans surgeries for kids, and potential donations to Satan are a huge slap in the face to every Christian at the company, and we resent it,” adding, “It offends me personally that this company acts like they support Christians and yet they’re literally willing to match $1,000 donation to the Satanic Temple.”
Fox’s internal donation policy states: “FOX will not match or provide volunteering rewards to : -Donations to organizations that discriminate on the basis of a personal characteristic or attribute, including, but not limited to, age, disability, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity characteristics or expression, marital status, … pregnancy or medical condition either in its selection of recipients of the organization’s services, funds, or other support; in delivery of services; or in its employment practices.”
While Fox will apparently match donations to the Satanic Temple, the company further states it will not match or provide volunteering rewards to “donations made to organizations that are private and non-operating, or political, religious, or fraternal in nature.”
TheBlaze has reached out to Fox News for comment, but had yet to receive a response by the time of publication.
The former Fox producer who spoke to Blaze Media indicated the liberal musculature behind the network’s conservative face has been growing stronger in recent months.
“It became clear certain things weren’t going to be tolerated on air any more after Tucker was gone. We were told: Lay off Dylan Mulvaney,” said the former producer. “Once I realized we couldn’t say certain things on air any more, I started to dig more into the reality of the corporate views.”
That Fox might simultaneously ape conservative talking points while bankrolling leftist initiatives struck the former producer as an affront to the network’s audience.
“It shows complete disregard and hatred for Fox’s core audience, which is a huge part of the country. They watch believing Fox is speaking for them, when in reality it’s a company participating in certain things that don’t match their audience’s values. [The disdain] is driven more by executives, lawyers, and HR than people realize, especially post-Dominion,” said the former producer, referencing the company’s $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Voting Services earlier this year.
Although the second current Fox employee who spoke to Blaze Media doesn’t “want to blow up the company” over this revelation, they nevertheless found it “disappointing.”
“Goes to show there’s definitely a mismatch in values,” said the second Fox employee. “Our business model has turned into ‘just tell the audience what they want to hear.’ It’s about appeasing and assuaging the audience even though most people in the C-Suite disagree with their audience’s values. It’s manipulative.”
The insider intimated that this and other capitulations at Fox to the woke left were a means of “signaling to whatever ESG police are out there … ‘don’t come for us.'”
Just as Fox executives are allegedly pursuing the path of least resistance, the employee indicated that in the aftermath of the recent spate of firings, people at the company are similarly less interested in the “pursuit of the truth” and more in saving their jobs.
This seems to be a company-wide problem: “After Tucker was fired, I don’t think anybody is safe, to be honest.”

No alarm bells were ringing in the White House? No one in the DOJ or FBI ever warned Obama about what was going on with his Vice President?
His Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was also selling out the United States all over the globe…selling her influence…using her offshore Clinton Foundation to launder bribes…also paying no taxes…and recording all her crimes, along with classified documents…on an illegal personal server…where she also communicated to her boss President Obama.

I’m sometimes surprised skeptics resist the claim (at least) that the gospels are written as eyewitness accounts. We can argue about whether or not the gospels are pure fiction, or whether or not they are accurate. But the idea that the gospels can be read as eyewitness accounts is rather unremarkable to me. The gospels record events from the perspective of writers who either saw the events themselves or had access to those who did. The author of John’s gospel describes a meeting between Jesus and his disciples. This meeting appears to include the author and he makes the following claim:
“This is the disciple who is testifying to these things and wrote these things, and we know that his testimony is true.” (John 21:24)
It certainly appears that the author considers himself to be both a participant in the narrative and a reporter (eyewitness) of the event. That seems rather unremarkable to me. Even if the author is someone other than John, the claim (at the very least) that the author is an eyewitness seems plain. In addition, the author of Luke’s gospel describes himself as a historian who had access to the eyewitnesses:
“Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile an account of the things accomplished among us, just as they were handed down to us by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word…”
Even if the author of Luke was not himself an eyewitness, it does appear that he believed he was recording true history as delivered to him from eyewitnesses. Once again, this seems unremarkable.
The Gospel Accounts Are Written By Known Authors
But what if we don’t know precisely who wrote the gospels? Does this invalidate them as eyewitness testimony? I don’t see why it should. Let me offer a simple observation. Most people who claim that the gospels have been attributed to people who are not the true authors argue that the early Church attempted to validate the texts by attributing them falsely. If so, why use Mark and Luke as attributions? Why not use someone with more status? Have you noticed that the late fictional gospels (like the gospels of Judas, Mary, Phillip or Thomas) are far more likely to have been attributed to authors who were close to Jesus and close to the action? Meanwhile, two of the four accounts that appear earliest in history (the four canonical gospels) are attributed people who don’t even claim to have been present during Jesus’ ministry! If I were trying to pull one over on gullible potential converts, I would have pick better false attributions for these two gospels. And concerning the gospels of Matthew and John, I’m not sure why it matters if they have been properly attributed (although I believe they have). The real question is simply whether or not these accounts can be trusted. Are they reliable?
The Gospel Accounts Were Written Early
The most important issue, it seems to me, is whether or not the gospels were written early enough to be verified or falsified by those who actually lived at the time the events transpired. I’ve already written quite a bit about the early dating of the gospels and the chain of custody that guarantees their reliability, so I won’t write about that again in this post. Instead let me make a simple analogy.
Imagine that I told you about an amazing event in the past. Did you know that there was once an inventor in the late 1700’s who, using crude supplies, was able to construct a computer and invent the Internet? That’s right, the computer and Internet were actually invented in the 1790’s. But while this inventor became famous for his invention, he eventually died and no one was able to replicate his work. It was nearly 170 years before the technology was replicated.
If I told you this story and claimed that it was true, I bet you would doubt my claim. If for no other reason, you would ask yourself why you had never heard of such a thing prior to my assertion. After all, the invention of the computer and Internet would certainly have left an impression on people at the time. Wouldn’t somebody have written about it? Shouldn’t you have hears something about it prior to my claim? Something? It seems to me that it would be even more difficult to make a claim about a miracle-working man who rose from the dead and once lived in your part of the world. Wouldn’t the second or third century Galileans wonder why it was that they hadn’t heard something about this man? Something? It seems unreasonable to me that a late historical claim about a man like Jesus would be palatable to people who were at least familiar with their own history.
The Gospel Accounts Have Been Consistent Over Time
If the gospels are early, the only question left to ask is if their content has been modified. And that’s where the writing of Church Fathers is extremely helpful. The writings of Ignatius, Polycarp and Clement paint a picture of what was being taught by the Apostles in the first century. No one doubts that the Apostles lived in the first century; skeptics simply doubt that the Apostles wrote anything or that their writings have survived uncorrupted. But the teaching of Ignatius, Polycarp and Clement closely mirror those of their teachers (John and Paul). Skeptics can quibble about specific gospel details if they want, but the overarching picture of Jesus as a miracle-working man who claimed to be God and rose from the dead is just as clear in the writing of these first students as it was in the writing of their mentors, the very people who claimed to be eyewitnesses of the risen Christ.
So why do skeptics deny the early dating of the New Testament documents? Is this based on some manuscript discovery that demonstrates the late arrival of the text? No. The more we discover related to ancient manuscript evidence, the earlier we are able to date scraps and partial texts of the gospels.
It turns out that skeptics deny the early dating of the gospels primarily on the basis of their naturalistic presuppositions. Jesus, after all, predicted the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem (Matthew 24); skeptics can’t accept the supernatural attributes of prophecy, so this passage must have been written after 70AD (the date of the destruction). In addition, other miracles described in the gospels must have been written long after any living eyewitnesses could have lived to deny them, right?
There is more than enough evidence to place the gospels early in history and determine their reliability from the writings of those who sat at the feet of the Apostles. Skeptical resistance may have less to do with the evidence here than with the presuppositions held by those who are examining the evidence.

When I hear the word cult, the first word that often comes to my mind is brainwashing. The idea of a cult evokes vivid images of individuals faithfully and obediently following a leader. They adhere to teachings that may appear perplexing or irrational to those on the outside. Alongside brainwashing, the concept of mind control and surrendering your ability to think critically also seem prevalent. This can create a chilling portrayal of what a cult is really like. Sadly, there are infamous cases we have witnessed throughout history. People have fallen under the influence of charismatic figures and engaged in harmful or extreme behaviors. Many times, these end in tragedy for the leader and their followers.
In the world of cults, there are some which are referred to as Christian cults. I want to explore what this means. I also want to help you understand why these Christian cults, which masquerade as authentic Christianity, fly under the radar so often.
A Christian cult is a religious group or organization that claims to adhere to Christian beliefs and practices. However, they often deviate significantly from mainstream Christian teachings. Unlike standard Christian denominations, Christian cults often introduce unorthodox doctrines or teachings. These teachings are usually in opposition to or contradict established theological principles.
Christian cults often employ methods of control, such as psychological manipulation. They tend to create a culture of fear or dependency. Yet for many in the cult, this happens so subtly they may not even realize it is happening. It is important to note that not all religious groups labeled as Christian cults will subject their members to physical harm. However, because of their divergent beliefs and practices and the errors often found in their doctrine, they may inflict emotional and spiritual harm. This should be cause for concern for every true believer in Jesus.
The distinction between a Christian cult and a non-Christian cult lies primarily in their theological beliefs, practices, and the way they relate to mainstream Christianity. Christian cults claim to be Christian or follow elements of Christian doctrine but often deviate from mainstream Christian teachings. They may reinterpret Scripture or add new doctrines which do not align with orthodox Christianity. Non-Christian cults do not identify themselves as Christian and typically have their own distinct belief systems. They are not trying to present themselves as Christian, and their beliefs have little or no connection to Christian doctrine at all.
There are certain reasons why some groups or organizations that are labeled as Christian cults fly under the radar. Because of this, these groups may not receive as much attention as they should. Here are a few factors.
1. From the outside, it might look and seem similar.
It is not unusual for Christian cults to adopt outward forms of traditional Christianity. They may even use familiar Christian language, talk about Jesus, and engage in some of the same practices. For example, one well-known Christian cult is the Jehovah’s Witnesses (JW’s). They talk about Jesus. They even use a translation of scripture that would look like it is an authentic translation. However, it is not enough to talk about Jesus, the question is what are you saying about Jesus? The JW understanding of who Jesus is, coupled with their error-filled translation of scripture, makes their doctrine untrue. Yet, if you don’t know these things, you might get swept in because much of the language may sound similar.
2. They use manipulation, fear, and control.
One way for a Christian cult to fly under the radar is to limit the amount of exposure they allow their members. Christian cults are usually tight-knit and tight-lipped groups. They are usually welcoming when people come in but not so enthusiastic when people want to leave. They create an environment of manipulation and control where people become dependent on the group and actually fear leaving the group. This fear keeps them silent because if they speak out, they risk losing their position in the group. Since they tie the group to their salvation, leaving means they are risking their eternal salvation. For those who remain in the cult, very few will ever say anything bad about the group, even when they know it exists. This type of control makes it difficult for people to leave. It makes it even more challenging for people to share what is happening in the cult.
3. There is rarely any fellowship with mainstream Christians.
The culture of isolation is rich within Christian cults and is common to Christian cults. Even though they call themselves Christian, rarely do they ever fellowship with other mainstream Christians. This internal focus keeps everyone in-house. The fear passed down from the leadership is if they intermingle with other Christian groups, they may try to lead you astray. This is really another manipulation tactic because the leaders are afraid you might discover the truth, rather than risk that they keep everyone close together with no allowance for fellowship with Christians outside the group.
4. They train people to think the same way.
For most Christian cults, there is some sort of educational structure. Some will even publish their own material, and these are the only things people in the group can study exclusively. When I lived in NYC, I would have frequent encounters with JW’s. They would come to my door, and I would invite them in and have conversations with them. One thing I noticed is their answers to any question I had always came from their own internal materials. They were not allowed to find independent answers. This type of situation allows the leaders of the group to remain in control and forces people to think the same way. Usually, in these cults, there is a Vegas-like policy. What happens there stays there, which is why these Christian cults can fly under the radar. People will see something but will find a reason to justify it because that is the way they were taught to think.
5. Respect for religious freedom.
Speaking for America here, our country still allows the free practice of religion as long as your practice is not breaking the law or causing harm to others. Most of these groups are not breaking the law, even if their doctrines are unorthodox. If they are breaking the law, we don’t usually find out until someone who has left the group is willing to speak out against them. Because we still respect religious freedom, Christian cults will continue to operate in our land.
If you engage someone in a cult, whether it is a Christian cult or not, be prepared to walk with them over the long haul. Your goal in dealing with these people is not to destroy their faith but to transfer it from the falsehoods they have been taught to the truth about who Jesus is. This is not a simple journey but one that can be made, as many have left Christian cults to find the real Jesus. The care, love, and grace you show them can go a long way in helping them come to faith in Christ.

The Puritan Thomas Goodwin once wrote, “Let us. . . . take God for our portion, whatsoever else becomes of us, whatsoever befalls us; let what will come, what afflictions, what throbs, what miseries or crosses will come, heaven will make amends for all.” [1]Thomas Goodwin, A Discourse of the Blessed State of Glory which the Saints Possess After Death in The Works of Thomas Goodwin, (Grand Rapids: Soli Deo Gloria Publications, 2021) 4:464.
Those words excite the soul to remain faithful to God because of the promise they represent: The Lord will lavishly compensate believers for their faithfulness.
When the Lord Jesus addressed the church in Philadelphia—a church that was powerful, obedient, loyal, and enduring—He delivered this same promise. Although the believers in that church were opposed by what Christ calls “the synagogue of Satan,” they remained faithful to God’s word. In response, the Lord Jesus essentially says to them, “I have a reward for your faithfulness. I have unbreakable promises that secure your good.” By doing so, He undoubtedly roused this church to persevere against their enemies.
As we saw last time, the first promise Christ gave the church of Philadelphia was that no one could shut them out of heaven because Christ has absolute power over its doors (Revelation 3:8). Furthermore, the Lord had provided an opportunity for this church to bring others through those doors by faith in Christ. Second, the Lord promised that they would prevail over their persecutors and some of their opponents would even be converted (Revelation 3:9).
After delivering those two promises, Christ continued in the same vein, giving the Philadelphian church assurance of future deliverance and glory.
Deliverance for the Whole Church
The third promise of this letter reads, “Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. I am coming quickly” (Revelation 3:10–11). If this promise refers to an actual historical event, we don’t know what it was. It’s entirely possible that there was a wave of persecution or a natural disaster that occurred in the area, or some other catastrophe during which the Lord protected and preserved this church. But if this promise was for a specific hour of testing that faced the church at Philadelphia, we don’t know when it was or what happened.
However, the language Christ uses here is vast and sweeping, pointing to a fulfillment beyond just the believers in Philadelphia. Many believe that this is the Holy Spirit giving us a look down through redemptive history to a time of severe judgment, that the Lord’s words here refer to the Rapture.
In 1 Corinthians 15:51–53, Paul describes that future event when Christ will take His church from earth to heaven. “Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.” In the upper room, Christ told His disciples,
Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going. (John 14:1–4)
Both of those passages describe, not a judgment event, but Christ retrieving His people out of the world, catching them up into glory—the Rapture (or catching away) of the saints. In 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18, Paul describes this event as an encouragement to those mourning the deaths of other believers:
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
While it’s unmistakable in Scripture that the Rapture will occur, believers are divided over its timing in relation to other eschatological events—specifically, the time of Tribulation. In Matthew 24:21, Christ warns His disciples, “For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.” The tribulation is a seven-year period, marked by the reign of the Antichrist and a series of cataclysmic judgments poured out by God, including the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments (Revelation 6–16). It is the period of eschatological history that immediately precedes the Lord’s return to judge sinners with death and hell, and then establish His millennial kingdom on earth.
Regarding the timing of the Rapture in relation to the Tribulation, there are several long-standing ideas. Some believe in posttribulationism—that the church will endure the Tribulation and be raptured from the world immediately prior to the Lord’s return for the judgment of the world and to establish His earthly kingdom with the living believers. Others believe in midtribulationism—that the Lord will, in the middle of the Tribulation, rapture His church before the fullness of God’s wrath is poured out in the final three and a half years. There is also the prewrath view, which points to a rapture sometime after the midpoint of the Tribulation but prior to God’s final outpouring of wrath at the end of the Tribulation. The other view, for which Revelation 3:10 serves as a critical support, is known as pretribulationism.
In this view, Christ’s words in verse 10 are a promise that He will rescue His whole church “from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth” (the Tribulation). The pivotal phrase in the original Greek is tēreō ek (“keep from”). Pretribulationists see this as a promise that God will spare the church from His wrath, that He will keep them from it (see 1 Thessalonians 1:9–10). Proponents of the other views instead interpret this as a promise that God will preserve His church through the Tribulation—or at least portions of it.
There are some compelling reasons to understand Revelation 3:10 from the pretribulationist perspective. First of all, the only other time that Greek phrase tēreō ek appears in Scripture is in John 17:15. During His High Priestly Prayer, the Lord says, “I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one.” Christ did not pray for His people to merely endure within the grasp of Satan’s power, but for them to be kept out of it altogether. In both instances, John is the author quoting directly from Christ. There is no compelling reason to read them with two different meanings.
Then there are the implications of interpreting this as a promise of preservation rather than removal. To begin with, Scripture tells us that believers during the Tribulation will suffer and be killed for their faith (see Revelation 6:9–11; 7:9–14). In what sense, then, would the Lord be keeping His church from the time of testing if they are being slaughtered as well as subjected to the horrors of that period? If it is only a promise of protection from His own wrath—but not the wrath of Satan, hell’s demons, the Antichrist, and the unrepentant world system—that doesn’t seem like any comfort. Moreover, if the intent here is that He will simply preserve His church through the Tribulation, how do His words apply to the believers at Philadelphia, who died long before it occurred?
The most acceptable understanding of Revelation 3:10 is as a gracious promise from the Lord to His faithful church—that for their perseverance in obedience to Him, they will be spared the fury of His temporal judgment poured out on the earth during the Tribulation.
In that sense, His words in verse 11—“I am coming quickly”—are not meant as a warning of judgment, as they have been to other churches (2:5, 16, 25; 3:3). Instead, it is a hopeful look forward to the moment He will retrieve His own out of the world. And we should respond to that glorious hope by echoing John’s sentiment at the end of Revelation: “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus” (22:20).
The Crown and the Pillar
In the meantime, Christ warns His people to “hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown” (Revelation 3:11). “Hold fast to what you have” is a call to persevere. We’ve seen already that perseverance is the test of genuine faith and salvation (see Matthew 24:13; 1 John 2:19). But perseverance is not passive. In his letter to the Colossians, Paul explains how the Lord works through the faith of His people to hold them for eternity: “He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard” (Colossians 1:22–23). We must hold fast to Christ, even as He holds us.
The phrase “so that no one will take your crown” is not a threat that someone could steal a believer’s salvation. Peter writes that our eternal inheritance is “imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away” (1 Peter 1:4). As Christ Himself said, “I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand” (John 10:28–29). If this is a reference to the crown of life—the same one He promised to the church at Smyrna—there is nothing anyone could do to steal it. It could only be forfeited if the believer failed to persevere, proving that he was never truly saved in the first place (see 1 John 2:19).
On the other hand, it could be a warning to believers not to let others damage or diminish their eternal reward. As John urged his readers in his second epistle, “Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward” (2 John 8). Perhaps this was a reminder to not let temporal concerns rob believers of the eternal reward for their faithfulness.
With eternal rewards in mind, Christ has some promises for those who overcome (see 1 John 5:4–5). He writes, “He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name” (Revelation 3:12).
What does it mean to be “a pillar in the temple of My God”? Pillars represent permanence and stability. To people whose homes and lives were frequently devastated by earthquakes, this was a promise of an unshakable, immovable place for them in the Lord’s eternal sanctuary—a place “he will not go out from it anymore.” They will perpetually live in the presence of the worship of God.
Yet there’s more. Christ also promises, “I will write on him the name of My God.” This is the equivalent of ownership and possession. For all eternity, we will bear the name of our Lord, which will mark us out as His precious children. Christ says He will also write on us “the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God.” We will not only be designated as belonging to God, but also marked as eternal citizens of the New Jerusalem (see Revelation 21). Forever, we will enjoy all the rights and privileges of citizenship in God’s eternal city.
Finally, Christ says He will write on us His “new name.” Philippians 2:9 tells us, “God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name.” Christ’s new name will reflect the perfection of our glorified relationship with Him, when “we will see Him just as He is” (1 John 3:2).
The Lord closes with the familiar reminder, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 3:13). In the case of His letter to Philadelphia, what we hear are the everlasting blessings and heavenly privileges the Lord will grant, not to those who have been perfect, but to those who have by His power been faithful.
