July 22 – Showing hospitality | Reformed Perspective

“Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.” – 1 Peter 4:9

Scripture reading: 1 Peter 4:9

If you love someone, it is easy to invite them over and show you care for them. Most in our church show hospitality to family members and close friends because they love them. But if you do not love someone or don’t really know someone, it is harder to show that person hospitality.

After telling us to love one another, Peter now tells us to show hospitality. The word Peter uses could be translated as “show brotherly love for strangers”. Peter tells us not to show hospitality just when you have things in common with people, but to show hospitality to all you come into contact with, especially those of the household of faith. We are to do this because Jesus demonstrated His love to us and changed us. He made His home amongst us and showed love to us who were not only strangers to Him, but by nature enemies to Him (Romans 5:10). If we really know the loving embrace of Jesus Christ, this ought to change us so that we are willing to invite over those we don’t know well. Peter adds that we are to do this cheerfully, without grumbling.

Jesus invited us into His life by displaying the greatest love He could. He gave His life for us on the cruel cross. We are now called to invite others into our lives in a loving and caring way. This Sunday start inviting someone that you have never invited and show them what Christ-like hospitality is all about.

Suggestion for prayer

That we would be able to show Christ-like hospitality.

July 22 Evening Verse of The Day

the fear of the Lord is clean,

enduring forever;

the rules of the Lord are true,

and righteous altogether. [1]

[1] The Holy Bible: English Standard Version (Ps 19:9). (2016). Crossway Bibles.

19:9 are true This highlights the trustworthiness of God’s Law.[1] 19:9 The fear of the Lord often means revering God, but here it is the revealed way by which one properly reveres God, i.e., the precepts of the covenant (similarly 34:11). true. A reliable transcript of God’s will.[2]

19:9 fear. This is not technically a word for the Word, but it does reflect the reality that Scripture is the manual for worship of God. judgments. This term looks upon God’s Word as conveying His judicial decisions.[3]

19:9. Fear is here a synonym for the Law, for its purpose was to put fear into human hearts (Deut. 4:10, kjv). The Law is pure.… sure, and righteous. It was designed to cause believers to obey God and lead righteous lives.[4]

9. “The fear of the Lord is clean.” The doctrine of truth is here described by its spiritual effect, viz., inward piety, or the fear of the Lord; this is clean in itself, and cleanses out the love of sin, sanctifying the heart in which It reigns. Mr. Godly-fear is never satisfied till every street, lane, and alley, yea, and every house and every corner of the town of Mansoul is clean rid of the Diabolonians who lurk therein. “Enduring for ever.” Filth brings decay, but cleanness is the great foe of corruption. The grace of God in the heart being a pure principle is also an abiding and incorruptible principle, which may be crushed for a time, but cannot be utterly destroyed. Both in the Word and in the heart, when the Lord writes, he says with Pilate, “What I have written, I have written;” he will make no erasures himself, much less suffer others to do so. The revealed will of God is never changed; even Jesus came not to destroy but to fulfil, and even the ceremonial law was only changed as to its shadow, the substance intended by it is eternal. When the governments of nations are shaken with revolution, and ancient constitutions are being repealed, it is comforting to know that the throne of God is unshaken, and his law unaltered.

The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether;”—jointly and severally the words of the Lord are true; that which is good in detail is excellent in the mass; no exception may be taken to a single clause separately, or to the book as a whole. God’s judgments, all of them together, or each of them apart, are manifestly just, and need no laborious excuses to justify them. The judicial decisions of Jehovah, as revealed in the law, or illustrated in the history of his providence, are truth itself, and commend themselves to every truthful mind; not only is their power invincible, but their justice is unimpeachable.[5]

Ver. 9. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever. The Word of God enduring for ever:

We are to consider the abiding and habitual effect of the Word of God upon believing hearts. And this effect is expressed in this phrase, “the fear of the Lord.” Note what is said of it.

I. It is clean—its purity. It is so, because it is the only true and sound basis of a due social regard to man, and the only valid bond of union, whether domestic, private, or public. Every believer ought to bear witness to the cleansing, purifying power of the fear of the Lord.

II. Its perpetuity—“enduring for ever.” This tells of the effect of the principle rather than of the principle itself, though this latter is not to be omitted. But in its effects it is consistent, unswerving, abiding, all-powerful. It enters into the man, and goes with him wherever he goes. He cannot and would not shake it off. And its effects are eternal, they can never pass away. And all may possess it, through Christ. It shall be for your peace here and happiness hereafter. (Thomas Dale, M.A.)

The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.—The Word of God altogether true and righteous:

I. Consider these judgments as matters of fact. Take—

1. The expulsion of our first parents from Eden. None can understand why God created man capable of falling, and foreknowing that he would fall. But this does not say that God made him on purpose that he should fall. This would be to assume that we know all God’s purpose in creating man, which we do not. We cannot reconcile the supremacy of God and the free agency of man. It is of no use to attempt to be “wise above what is written,” but our duty is to take man as he is—capable of understanding and obeying God’s command, which Adam unquestionably was. There was in him no moral difficulty as in us, since the imagination of his heart was not, as ours, “evil continually.” We must deplore the instability of the man, but we cannot on that account take exception to the judgments of the Lord. And the transmission to offspring of the properties of the parent—this law had been ordained before this fatal event, and what right have we to think that He who made all things “very good” should remodel or reverse His laws in consequence of that event? Hence, although “in Adam all die,” was it unrighteous in God to act in accordance with His own previously established law? Adam himself caused, of his own choice, that it should work ill to him and his. But are we to blame God for that?

2. The judgment upon Cain. Surely this was far less than he deserved. And the gate of mercy and of grace was not closed upon him.

3. The deluge, the overthrow of Jerusalem, and many others. In reference to each of these we might prove it to be “altogether righteous.” For by righteous we understand perfect consistency with previous revelations given by God—with the laws enacted and bearing on each case, and with the penalties threatened by God and consciously incurred by man. And when men object to these judgments they do not attempt to justify the conduct of the sinner, but only to condemn the law under which, and the Judge by whom, he was condemned. They affirm that God is without compassion for human frailty, and without consideration for human folly.

II. As matters of faith—they are altogether true. Necessarily, many of the judgments of God are matters of faith. For the interpositions of God, though sometimes seen in the crisis and agony of nations, are, in the case of individuals, scarcely, if at all, discernible.

III. In their bearing upon ourselves. As we cannot impeach God’s righteousness in His judgments in the past, can we, in what we expect in the future, doubt His truth? Meantime “the victory that overcometh the world is this, even our faith.” (Ibid.)[6]

9. The fear of Jehovah is clean. By the fear of God we are here to understand the way in which God is to be served; and therefore it is taken in an active sense for the doctrine which prescribes to us the manner in which we ought to fear God. The way in which men generally manifest their fear of God, is by inventing false religions and a vitiated worship; in doing which they only so much the more provoke his wrath. David, therefore, here indirectly condemns these corrupt inventions, about which men torment themselves in vain, and which often sanction impurity; and in opposition to them he justly affirms, that in the keeping of the law there is an exemption from every thing which defiles. He adds, that it endures for ever; as if he had said, This is the treasure of everlasting happiness. We see how mankind, without well thinking what they are doing, pursue, with impetuous and ardent affections, the transitory things of this world; but, in thus catching at the empty shadow of a happy life, they lose true happiness itself. In the second clause, by calling the commandments of God truth, David shows that whatever men undertake to do at the mere suggestion of their own minds, without having a regard to the law of God as a rule, is error and falsehood. And, indeed, he could not have more effectually stirred us up to love, and zealously to live according to the law, than by giving us this warning, that all those who order their life, without having any respect to the law of God, deceive themselves, and follow after mere delusions. Those who explain the word judgments, as referring only to the commandments of the second table, are, in my opinion, mistaken: for David’s purpose was to commend, under a variety of expressions, the advantages which the faithful receive from the law of God. When he says, They are justified together, the meaning is, They are all righteous from the greatest to the least, without a single exception. By this commendation he distinguishes the law of God from all the doctrines of men, for no blemish or fault can be found in it, but it is in all points absolutely perfect.[7]

Ver. 9.—The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever. Hengstenberg explains “the fear of the Lord” in this place as “the instruction afforded by God for fearing him.” And certainly, unless we adopt some such explanation, we shall find it difficult to account for the intrusion of the clause into its present position. The Law, the testimony, the statutes (or precepts), the commandment (vers. 7, 8), and the judgments (ver. 9), are external to man, objective; the fear of the Lord, as commonly understood, is internal, subjective, a “settled habit of his soul.” It is not a thing of the same kind with the other five nominatives, and appears out of place among them. Hence it seems best, with Professor Alexander, to adopt Hengstenberg’s explanation. The Law, viewed as teaching the fear of God, is undoubtedly “clean”—i.e. pure, perfect—and “endures for ever,” or is of perpetual obligation. The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. In “judgments” we have another of the recognized synonyms for the entire Law (Ps. 119:7, 13, 43, 52, 62), which is from first to last “exceeding righteous and true” (Ps. 119:138, Prayerbook Version).[8]

19:9 The fear of the Lord is pure … The decrees of the Lord are firm … righteous. Now David turns to the human response to God’s law and describes it as “pure,” with the same word that is used of something ceremonially “clean” (e.g., Lev. 10:10), used in a moral sense rather than ceremonial. Thus the fear of the Lord renders one acceptable to God. While the noun “decrees” (mishpatim) can mean judicial decisions, here it may be quite general, seeing that it concludes the six statements, which would correspond to the general nature of Torah in 19:7. The word “firm” (’emet) means “true” and signifies the reliability of the divine ordinances, which are both “true” and “righteous” (see Deut. 4:8). That is, they measure up to the standard of truth and righteousness.[9]

“1 But now, this is what the LORD says, [He who is] your Creator, Jacob, And He who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! 2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. We also believe that Christian Worship is to be regulated and defined by God’s Word, the Bible.

Our worship services are designed to please and honor the Triune God of the Bible. We place Scripture reading and the preaching of the word of God at the center of worship along with Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. These are God’s gifts to His church and ought to always be at the center of Christian worship. We are a congregation that loves to sing God’s praises, recite His Word back to Him, and actively engage in hearing and learning from God’s Word.

We embrace and promote a comprehensive Christian world and life view.

There is no area of life which is not under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is to God and His law which all people, including governments and civil rulers, will answer. The Word of God embraces and informs the way we view marriage, the family, children, education, politics, worship, law, government, war, the church, missions, evangelism, and worship. In the world today there is a battle of opposing worldviews. There are basically only two positions: God’s Word and man’s ideas. We stand positively for Biblical truth and negatively against man’s ideas which are opposed to Biblical truth.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for mankind.

Because all men fall short of obeying God’s law, all men everywhere are in need of divine grace and salvation from God. This salvation is found only in the Lord Jesus Christ who died for sinners, was buried, rose again, and is alive today seated at God the Father’s right hand.

We Worship God Together as Families.

We offer nursery during morning worship service for newborns and infants but encourage people to keep as many of their children as they can with them for morning worship. The audio of the service is in the nursery via speakers. There is also a crying room with a video screen and audio of the sermon. We offer Sunday school classes for all ages but worship together as families. We do not offer “children’s” church. Children need to be in morning worship as soon as possible so they can learn how to participate as active worshipers of God which includes the singing of His praises and listening actively to sermons.

Foolish Passion | Alistair Begg Daily Devotional

“On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha and Abagtha, Zethar and Carkas, the seven eunuchs who served in the presence of King Ahasuerus, to bring Queen Vashti before the king with her royal crown, in order to show the peoples and the princes her beauty, for she was lovely to look at. But Queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s command delivered by the eunuchs. At this the king became enraged, and his anger burned within him.”

Esther 1:10-12

In a display of pride and bravado, King Ahasuerus issued a command for the presence of his queen. This was not the gesture of a kind, caring husband who wanted his wife to meet his friends. Rather, this was Mr. Big planning a show-and-tell for his friends in which everything was calculated to indicate his majesty, might, and significance. Josephus, the Jewish historian, records that it was a violation of the Persian code of ethics for a man’s wife to be the occasion of observation or approbation of any other men.[1] The king, then, was breaking the bounds of propriety in every way.

There was a progression in the king’s behavior. The wine had gone to his head, and he made an ill-thought summons to his wife. When she refused to come, he became enraged. He then sought the advice of those around him, who only pandered to his ego. He could have paused to consider if their advice was proper in relation to the laws of the land or to the queen and his esteem for her—but instead, his anger and weak will led him to a quick, foolish decision. Earlier that morning, if someone had told the king that by midnight he would have banished the queen from his life forever, he probably would have thought it impossible. But still he did it. A big ego, too much alcohol, a quick temper, and bad advice led to an outcome he surely never desired.

Three years after he had deposed the queen and fresh off a disappointing military campaign against the Greeks, we read that “the anger of King Ahasuerus had abated,” and “he remembered Vashti and what she had done and what had been decreed against her” (Esther 2:1). He was bruised in his ego and saddened by his past—a picture of the empty sorrow of someone who has pursued everyone and everything, and particularly his own agenda, at the expense of the living God (Ecclesiastes 4:7-8). King Ahasuerus’ experience serves as a warning to us that in a moment of foolish passion, we, too, can alter and diminish, or even destroy, our lives forever.

There is a path that seems right, but we are told that in the end it leads to emptiness and death (Proverbs 14:12). As you face decisions, be quick to ask yourself whether your ego, your temper, false friends or overconsumption are guiding you; and be equally quick to look to the Savior to guide you in the way of wisdom, along the narrow road that leads to fullness of life (Matthew 7:13-14).

Hunger and Thirst | Daily Devotionals by Thoughts about God.

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled” Matthew 5:6 (KJV )

Do you hunger and thirst after righteousness, for the fullness and power of the Holy Spirit in your life? If so, you can claim that fullness and power right now by faith.

The great difference between present-day Christianity and that of which we read in these letters (New Testament epistles),” declared J.B. Phillips in his introduction to the Letters to Young churches, “is that to us it is primarily a performance; to them it was a real experience.”

We are apt to reduce the Christian religion to a code, or, at best, a rule of heart and life. To these men it is quite plainly the invasion of their lives by a new quality of life altogether. They do not hesitate to describe this as Christ living in them.”

The disciples were used of God to change the course of history. As Christian homemakers, students, businessmen and professionals, we have that same potential and privilege today.

The amazing fact that Jesus Christ lives in us and expresses His love through us is one of the most important truths in the Word of God. The standards of the Christian life are so high and so impossible to achieve, according to the Word of God, that only one person has been able to succeed. That person is Jesus Christ.

When we receive Christ into our lives, we experience a new birth and are also indwelt by the Holy Spirit. From that point on, everything we need – including wisdom, love, power – to be men and women of God and fruitful witnesses for Christ is available to us simply by faith, by claiming this power in accordance with God’s promise.

Bible Reading: Romans 10:6-10

Dear Lord, create within me a hunger and thirst after righteousness that is greater than my hunger and thirst for meat and drink for my physical body. By faith I claim the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit to enable me to live a victorious, fruitful life to the glory of God and to share this good news of the Spirit-filled life with everyone who will listen.

Romans 10:6-10 New International Version (NIV)

But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved

Why God is Smiling at You | Daily Devotionals by Thoughts about God.

There’s a growing tendency among Christians to believe God is smiling or frowning at us based on our Christian performance.

We read His Word. We pray for the missionaries. We thank Him for breakfast, and so He smiles down at us as we begin our day.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

This thinking assumes we can somehow earn God’s approval—something foreign to what we believed the day we were saved.

But the Gospel wasn’t written for the day of salvation only. This good news should guard every day.

God is pleased with us based on what Christ did for us; never because of what we do for God.

Jesus cried out with a loud voice from the Cross and asked, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

The Father turned His back on His Son, because at that moment our sin was placed on Him. And God couldn’t look.

He couldn’t smile on His Son. Instead, His wrath was poured out—the wrath we deserved.

Why did God forsake His Son?

So He could smile at you and me, though we sin every day.

God is smiling at us, because our sin was already judged when God turned His back on His Son.

Christian “performance” is the joyful way we smile back.

His own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness.”~ 1 Peter 2:24

A covert Jewish member and former leader of the American Front neo-Nazi group claimed in an interview published Thursday that white supremacists today are more often supporters of President Joe Biden than of his predecessor Donald Trump, despite conventional belief to the contrary. “I would say a lot of what the world knows about white supremacists nowadays is smoke and mirrors. They’re far more pro-Biden than pro-Trump – Trump was too pro-Israel,”

‘I’ve had enough’: Former Democratic lawmaker defects to Republican party, hints about running for office
“It’s over, it’s finished.” Former New York Assemblyman-turned-activist Dov Hikind announced his defection from the Democratic party on Thursday in a tweet that included his wife, Shani, agreeing wholeheartedly with the decision. “I have been a lifelong Democrat — my family, my parents. But that’s over. That’s finished. I have decided to register as a Republican,” he said. “Unfortunately, the Democratic Party has become so radicalized, so radical, run by the radicals, that people who are moderates or conservative Democrats are not welcomed in the Democratic Party, and I’ve had enough.

World revival is coming
World revival is coming – but not a Christian revival. The future will see a world religion that exalts man and minimizes God. … While the coming world’s religious system in some ways resembles Christianity, John calls it “Babylon the Great” – a monstrous, ecumenical combination of everything that people consider “spiritual.” And the world will buy into it – hook, line and sinker.

Climate Maps Manipulated to Mislead the Public
The US state science organization NOAA released in May very revealing climate maps that show the average temperature across the world in April compared to the climate normal. Not only do they markedly deviate from countless countries’ official temperature data for April, showing the spring month was cooler than normal, but they also contradict each other even though they originate from exactly the same measurement data. The New Times here reveal how the figures are distorted and that there are two parallel maps, one for scientists and one grossly deceptive one shown to the public.

The Percentage Of Americans That Believe In God Has Fallen To An All-Time Low
Do you believe in God?  If so, you belong to a portion of the population that is steadily shrinking.  Yes, a majority of Americans still think that God exists, but the trend is clearly going in one direction.  So are we headed down the same road that so many post-Christian nations in western Europe have already gone down?  According to a shocking new survey that Gallup has just released, the percentage of Americans that believe in God has plunged to the lowest level that they have ever recorded…

“I don’t like these attacks on the Department of Justice, the FBI, the IRS, as if they are somehow anti-U.S. agencies. Those agencies keep this democracy in check. They provide the checks, and they provide the balances.” —Congressman Kweisi Mfume (D-MD)
The BIG Lies II
“We have seen real results from … the actions that the president has taken to lower costs for the American people.” —White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre
“Everything that you are seeing with our economy being stronger, wages going up, unemployment going down … is because of Bidenomics. … We’ve seen a positive … movement with the economy because of what this president has done, because of Bidenomics. … Bidenomics has been really helpful in getting to make sure that we build an economy that leaves the one behind. … The first two years, the deficit has gone down by more than $1 trillion. And that is … because of Bidenomics and because of the work that he’s been doing.” —Karine Jean-Pierre
“Bidenomics is working, and that is the great news for the American people.” —House Democrat Whip Katherine Clark (D-MA)

I mean, $1.7 trillion of deficit reduction in his first two years. He just signed legislation to take that deficit down another trillion.” —Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Jared Bernstein
“Real wages are up. The buying power of the hourly wage of working people — say middle-wage workers — that’s up 1.6% over the past year.” —Jared Bernstein

“[Abortion is] not dangerous. But what’s actually dangerous, what’s really dangerous, is forcing people — especially black women — to give birth.” —Congresswoman Cori Bush (D-MO)
“Banning medication abortion would be like placing a ban on Tylenol [or] a ban on antibiotics. There is no scientific, no valid medical reason to do so. It is only political propaganda.” —Cori Bush
“Medication abortion is a lifeline. It’s a lifeline for the person working multiple jobs who can’t afford to take a day off work because wages are too low or they don’t have paid sick leave. It’s a lifeline for the mom of two who can’t afford childcare or who can’t find that affordable childcare. “I regret that this committee continues to hold hearings on things that do not exist, like a bogus ban on gas stoves, while ignoring the real economic and energy issues affecting people across this country. Could it be that this is part of an effort by my colleagues on the other side of the aisle to distract from the numerous wins of the Biden administration?” —Congresswoman Shontel Brown (D-OH)
“We absolutely should politicize the weather. In practice, environmental policy probably won’t be a central issue in the 2024 campaign, which will mainly turn on the economy and social issues. Still, we’re living in a time of accelerating climate-related disasters, and the environmental extremism of the Republican Party — it is more hostile to climate action than any other major political party in the advanced world — would, in a more rational political debate, be the biggest election issue of them all.” —New York Times columnist Paul Krugman
Leftmedia Lobs
“More people actually moved out of Florida than New York or California in 2021” —Business Insider headline (Fact-check: The headline and story were corrected to note more people actually moved into Florida than any other state; more moved out of New York and California than Florida.)

IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE: THOUSANDS of Illegal Migrant Children Released Across the US with Tuberculosis | The Gateway Pundit

Back in October 2022, the Federation of American Immigration Reform, or FAIR Organization, released their fiscal year 2022 immigration numbers.

FAIR.org estimated that 5.5 million illegal aliens had entered the United States by crossing over the open border with Mexico since Joe Biden entered office.

That number has reached 7 million today nearly one year later.

On his first day in office Joe Biden opened the US southern border to millions of unknown, illegal migrants from every corner of the world.

FAIR.org reported on Joe Biden’s actions to flood America with millions of illegal aliens.

  • Throughout the 2020 campaign, President Biden promised to extend amnesty to illegal aliens in the United States.
  • On his first day in office, President Biden sent an immigration bill to Congress that included an amnesty program and pledged his support to give illegal aliens a path to citizenship.
  • The Biden administration immediately issued an executive order directing agencies to take steps to preserve the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
  • The Biden administration stopped construction of the border wall.
  • The Biden administration expanded the grounds for claiming asylum by reversing legal opinions issued under the Trump Administration.
  • The Biden administration ended the Asylum Cooperative Agreements (ACAs) with Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras which required migrants to apply for asylum in one of the countries through which they traveled (and be denied) as a prerequisite to eligibility for asylum in the United States.[11]
  • The Biden administration issued a policy to exempt unaccompanied minors and family units from expulsion under Title 42, releasing these populations into the U.S.
  • The Biden administration revived the Obama Administration’s policy of allowing immigration judges to administratively close deportation cases.
  • U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issued policies that make it easier to apply for benefits, including work permits, extended and expanded programs like Temporary Protected Status, eliminated the ability of officers to issue Notices to Appear (NTAs), and reduced screening and vetting in order to process more petitions and applications.

Now that the borders are open the Biden administration is releasing THOUSANDS of illegal alien children with tuberculosis across the US.

They knew this would happen.

The Epoch Times reported:

Thousands of illegal immigrant children with tuberculosis were released from U.S. government custody over the course of a year, officials have revealed in a new report.

The illegal immigrants, all under 18 years of age, were released to family members or other responsible adults, despite having latent tuberculosis infections, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) said in a recent disclosure.

The dates of each release weren’t clear. HHS officials notified state officials from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023, of the tuberculosis-positive youth over a web-based system operated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Aurora Miranda-Maese, an HHS official, wrote in a court-ordered report.

The CDC, which is part of HHS, declined to comment. HHS officials didn’t respond to requests for comment.

Hunter Biden Expected To Face Up To 10 Criminal Referrals, Here Are The Top Bombshells From Last Week | ZeroHedge News

The Chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, James Comer (R-KY), says he plans to file “between six and 10 criminal referrals” against Hunter Biden once his committee finishes its investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings.

According to the NY Postthe charges would include sex trafficking a woman across state lines for prostitution.

The Democrats kept saying, ‘Oh, we don’t have any evidence. You don’t have any evidence.‘ Well, [Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene] showed them evidence,” Comer told Fox Business in an interview, referring to a sexually graphic image printed on a poster from Hunter Biden’s laptop, in which he’s stuffing his manhood into a prostitute’s mouth who was allegedly paid for with company funds.

“She showed them evidence of the president’s son committing a crime, violating the Mann Act,” said Comer, adding “She showed the plane tickets, she showed the pictures, she showed the evidence. You know, there’s no question he violated it. That’s another thing that he could have been charged with.”

Comer also said that the referrals could include violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

“He was money laundering,” said Comer. “He was racketeering. He committed wire fraud. He violated the Mann Act. The list goes on and on and on.”

Meanwhile, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) on Thursday released an unclassified FBI document in which a confidential human source lays out an alleged bribery scheme involving Joe and Hunter Biden, in which a Ukrainian gas giant, Burisma, hired Hunter to gain access to his then-VP father.

The House Oversight Committee previously issued a subpoena to obtain the document, with which FBI Director Christopher Wray did not comply. Though he ultimately permitted the committee members to view the FD-1023 in a secure location, the contents remained unpublished until Grassley’s Thursday release.

The document shows that the bureau had a trusted source privy to Burisma’s efforts to quash a probe from then-Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin and its plans to expand to the U.S. and secure a company for IPO purposes. -Just the News

To that end, Just the News has compiled major bombshells from the FD-1023 document, as compiled by journalist KanekoaTheGreat:

1. In 2014, Burisma Holdings hired Hunter Biden to influence his father, VP Joe Biden, in handling Ukraine’s chief prosecutor investigating the company for corruption. Joe Biden successfully had the prosecutor fired by threatening to withhold $1 billion in loan guarantees.

2. Burisma informed the FBI informant that the Biden bribe money had illicit intentions or was part of a criminal scheme.

3. Burisma’s CEO believed he was “coerced” to hire Hunter Biden and considered it a package deal involving VP Joe Biden’s assistance. The total payment required was $10 million.

JOHN SOLOMON:

“Back in 2019, I got to interview Victor Shokin. And he was completely unaware of what the FBI was saying, but here’s what he told me. When President Poroshenko came to him, he said Joe Biden wants me to fire you. I don’t really have a reason, but I’m going to have to do it.

He’s upset that you won’t stop investigating Burisma. Just think about that. That was mocked at the time, but now the FBI was being told something exactly the same and it wasn’t getting it from Shokin, but it was getting it from the owner of Burisma, Mykola Zlochevsky, and his top lieutenant.

This was in the Fall of 2019 before the impeachment of Donald Trump. Keep in mind Donald Trump got impeached for asking Ukraine to investigate the things that the FBI now should have investigated. It’s pretty remarkable.”

4. The FBI informant confirmed that Burisma officials referred to Joe Biden as the “Big Guy,” supporting claims later made by Tony Bobulinski in 2020.

5. Burisma was concerned that the corruption probe into the company by Prosecutor Shokin would jeopardize their plans to acquire a US oil and gas firm and go public in America.

6. Burisma’s CEO and top official, Vadym Pozharskyi, acknowledged Hunter Biden’s lack of experience in the energy sector and were not impressed by his work, saying that he “was not smart.”

7. Burisma’s CEO boasted that tracking the $10 million payment to the Bidens would be extremely difficult and could take up to ten years to find the records.

JOHN SOLOMON:

“Finally, the FBI started receiving concerning information from this source about the Bidens and Burisma back on March 1, 2017, less than two months after Donald Trump had taken the presidency. Think about that.

We were all kept in the dark and when 2019 came around and people who reported on this were called conspiracy theorists, the FBI knew all along they had this sitting in their files. I think the most troubling thing even the agents who were supposed to investigate this case at the IRS weren’t told about this.

Just think about that. Even the people who were investigating this were kept in the dark and if it weren’t for Chuck Grassley, we wouldn’t have known about it even today.”

QUESTIONS:

Has the FBI investigated the Biden corruption allegations since March 2017?

Why wasn’t the FBI source document given to the IRS agents investigating the Bidens?

What actions did the FBI take during Donald Trump’s impeachment proceedings, considering the relevance of this information to the case?

Why did Burisma pay Hunter millions if they thought he was inexperienced, not smart, and unimpressive in his work?

Were the millions paid to Hunter by Burisma part of the bribe?

The last word goes to Comer:
