I Chose Jesus (but He Chose Me First) | Theology & Life

Nearly a decade ago I was spending time with my then-girlfriend (now my wife); we were talking about our future—what our plans were, where we wanted to be, and so on. Then the conversation turned to the future in general—how technology was going to look in 20-50 years, and so on.

Then, out of the blue, I said words that changed my life forever: “What if Jesus returns while we’re still alive? What if I’m not living right?”

I decided to follow Jesus, give my entire life to Him, in that moment. I chose Jesus. He became real to me.

Some Reformed folk will read that last sentence and become uncomfortable. They will retort, “You didn’t choose Jesus!” To be honest, I understand the feeling. As one who is Reformed, I am increasingly uneasy about the self-centered, me-first language we use when talking about our salvation and the Christian life. Much of evangelicalism places too heavy an emphasis on man in order to “save” free will at the detriment of God’s sovereignty. That’s a mistake.

But I also am uneasy about the opposite side. The side that says we didn’t choose Jesus; the side which responds with an over-emphasis of sorts on God’s sovereignty; the side that neglects to acknowledge the real, human choices we make. There are pitfalls on both sides we must be cognizant of.

So, the question arises: Did we choose Jesus or did He choose us?

The answer: Yes.

We Chose Jesus

The Bible is painstakingly clear: real people make real choices, and one of those real choices is trusting in Christ.

We must now cower from what Scripture teaches about our choices. If you are a Christian, it is because you decided to follow Jesus. You, as a person, made that decision—a decision you are responsible for. And others are equally responsible for not making that decision.

It is simply unbiblical to convey that humans did not choose to follow Jesus. Any idea to the contrary doesn’t tell the full story. Jesus commands numerous times in the Bible for people to repent of their sins and believe in the gospel (Mark 1:15, for starters). This is a biblical command for people to choose, to follow, to make a decision. If people didn’t make a genuine choice, these commands wouldn’t make sense.

John Piper said in an episode of “Ask Pastor John”:

You have free will when your will is the decisive cause of your choosing Christ. And the word decisive has the same function as ultimate. There may be many causes that influence your choosing Christ. But for you to be free, in this definition, the decisive cause — the one that finally decides your choice — must be your will, not anyone else’s will, including God’s….You made a choice. Your will was active and necessary. Your choice was real. That is not the question in the debate.

We choose to follow Jesus or not. It is our responsibility. As Piper noted, our will was active; and not only active, but necessary. At a point in all our lives, we all made the decision to trust Jesus. That was real.

Jesus Chose Us First

Even though our decision to believe upon Christ was, in fact, our decision, we only did so because Jesus chose us first (John 15:16). In fact, Scripture is abundantly clear that God chose us to be in Christ before He created the world (Ephesians 1:4). Our salvation—our election—was based on God’s sovereign, loving, gracious choice. Nothing more, nothing less.

This means we cannot boast, not even a little bit, about making the decision to follow Christ. The only reason we did so was because Jesus set His love and affectionate on us first. In a very real, biblical sense, we wouldn’t have ever believed in the gospel if God had not chosen us in Christ to be His children.

As R.C. Sproul in his book Chosen by God:

To be sure, a human choice is made, a free human choice, but the choice is made because God first chooses to influence the elect to make the right choice. The basis for God’s choice does not rest in man but solely in the good pleasure of the divine will.

This is what many don’t understand, intentionally or not. Those who accurately hold to Reformed theology don’t believe humans are robots, that we’re all being drug along by God’s predetermined will and have absolutely no will at all. That’s simply not true. We have wills, they are just fallen and enslaved by sin (Ephesians 2:1).

Humans are more than capable of making a real, genuine choice to believe upon Jesus Christ. The problem, however, is our wills are enslaved by sin before salvation. Our sin problem is pervasive to where it affects all of our being: physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, etc. There is not one part of us that is not effected by sin. Therefore, we need the grace of God to even believe! (Yes, regeneration precedes faith.)

All of Grace

There is so much more that can be said on this topic, but only so much should be said in a blog post. Here’s the bottom line: our salvation is all of grace. We made the choice to follow Christ, yes, but we only decided to do so because Jesus came for us first. If God hadn’t chosen us out of pure, sovereign grace, we would’ve never come to Christ—nor would we have wanted to.

Salvation belongs to the Lord (Jonah 2:9). Our decision to follow Jesus, though genuine, only happened because God decided, according to His will, to act.

When you’re wrestling with this question—Did I choose God or did He choose me?—I pray you take a second to pray. Pray for guidance, for wisdom, for clarity. Pray for objective eyes when reading Scripture. If you do that, I believe your answer will be “both.”

The Only Essential Message | Bible Apologetics – A DAILY DEVOTIONAL

We live in a time when we are literally bombarded with messages that attempt to influence our buying decisions, attempt to sway us to vote for certain candidates, influence our hearts to donate to different charities, and a hundred other appeals to sway us to act in certain ways.

While most of these decisions don’t have a major impact on our lives some do. For example, what job you decide to apply for can have a major impact on your career. And if you have ever tried internet dating, what person you decide to date could impact who your future marriage partner will be.

But there is only one message in life that has eternal implications. I love how author Jerry Bridges puts it: “The gospel is not only the most important message in all of history; it is the only essential message in all of history.”1 Sadly, most people have been blinded by Satan to give little thought about eternity. Most people are too consumed with the here and now and how their decisions effect today and maybe tomorrow, but rarely eternity. In fact, Satan has even blinded most people to believe that we can’t really know what happens to us when we die. As a result, most individuals try to find as much meaning as they can through people and possessions rather than God.

But praise the Lord, for God has left us with His own special message and it is contained in a very special book called the Bible. For 2,000 years mankind has been blessed with the most amazing, influential, and transformational book ever written – the Bible. And within it pages is the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. And not only is the gospel message full of hope for our eternal souls, it promises us so much more meaning and joy in the now than what our sin-filled world can offer.

My friends as Christians we have the only truly “good news.” And   Christianity is the only religion that appeals to our emotions, our intellect, and our spirit. Of all the so-called holy books, only the Bible states that man is a sinner and his only hope for salvation can be found in the message of the gospel. So, not only is the message contained in the Bible good news but I believe Christianity, if presented to any reasonable open-minded seeker of truth, can at least get them thinking about reading the Bible and eternal things. And if they open the Bible there is just no telling how the Holy Spirit can work on their heart!

Abiding in Obedience, in Love | VCY

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love. (John 15:10)

These things cannot be parted—abiding in obedience and abiding in the love of Jesus. A life under the rule of Christ can alone prove that we are the objects of our Lord’s delight. We must keep our Lord’s command if we would bask in His love. If we live in sin we cannot live in the love of Christ. Without the holiness which pleases God we cannot please Jesus. He who cares nothing for holiness knows nothing of the love of Jesus.

Conscious enjoyment of our Lord’s love is a delicate thing. It is far more sensitive to sin and holiness than mercury is to cold and heat. When we are tender of heart and careful in thought, lip, and life to honor our Lord Jesus, then we receive tokens of His love without number. If we desire to perpetuate such bliss we must perpetuate holiness. The Lord Jesus will not hide His face from us unless we hide our face from Him. Sin makes the cloud which darkens our Sun: if we will be watchfully obedient and completely consecrated we may walk in the light, as God is in the light, and have as sure an abiding in the love of Jesus as Jesus has in the love of the Father. Here is a sweet promise with a solemn “if,” Lord, let me have this “if” in my hand; for as a key it opens this casket.

Walk in Love | Daily Devotionals by Thoughts about God.

“Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians 5:1-2

The call to imitate God sounds impossible.

Yet, just as a small child imperfectly mimics a parent’s actions, disciples of Jesus copy Him. In these verses in Ephesians, lies a key way to imitate God: walk in love.

Love, by definition, gives time, attention, and compassion. Love spends energy, intellectual resources, and money. Love sacrifices personal interests, wants, and needs for the interests, wants, and needs of others.

Indeed, love requires sacrifice. Jesus’ sacrifice for us reveals what real love looks like. John explains what “love” is in his first letter.

“This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins” (1 John 4:10).

The call to “walk in love” goes far beyond loving nice, similar-to-us, or likable people. God calls us to love dirty, unattractive, and needy people, too. He commands us to love greedy, ungrateful, and adversarial people. God directs us to love these people because that is who we once were. Paul tells the believers in Rome,

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

To walk in love is to daily put others ahead of ourselves. We walk in love, not because others deserve our love, but because Jesus first loved us.

“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another” (1 John 4:11).

Holy Spirit, fill me with your presence so that I might walk in love as Christ loves me. Amen.

We Love Because He First Loved Us | Daily Devotionals by Thoughts about God.

Do you love Jesus Christ?

Is there a part of your heart that not only intellectually accepts Christ’s death for you, but actually loves Him for the price He paid?

Do you love His word and appreciate the many times He’s rescued you from difficulties and battles, many caused by your own sin or foolishness?  Do you love how He accepts you unconditionally when you turn to Him? He has forgiven every sin you have ever committed.  How can you not love Him?

For too many people, knowing Jesus goes no deeper than agreeing to the historical fact of His existence. However, loving Him is a distant, almost unnatural reality for them. They take His name in vain or anger and, incredibly, use it as a curse. However, when you say the name of Jesus, it’s very sound calms the troubling in your heart.  They mock His righteousness and delight in lawlessness.  Yet, you love righteousness, even if you fall short of your own spiritual aspirations.

The fact that you possess love for Christ, even if your love is imperfect, proves something vital about you. The very existence of your love has been cultivated and awakened by God’s love for you.  The living Christ has actually approached you and revealed Himself to you. As it is written, “We love, because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19).

Today, Christians argue about doctrines and divide over eschatology’s.  Yet, let us look at the deeper issue: do we each love Jesus Christ? If so, our love for Him is the result of His love for us.  You see, the proof that we truly know Jesus Christ is not measured by the degrees we post on a wall, but the degree of love for Him that burns in our hearts.

Do you love Him? If so, it is because your love is a response to the relentless warmth of God’s love for you.  His love has proven itself irresistible. He says, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16).  Again, He says that “No one can come to Me, unless the Father who sent Me draws him” (John 6:44).  Even our coming to Him is a product of His love for us.

When I say, “I love You Jesus,” it is because at some point, long before I knew Him, before I could discern His voice or recognize His influence in my life, His love was drawing me to His heart. Yes, I know I am not worthy, but still Christ loved me.  True, I have no righteousness of my own, but I imagine there was a moment in heaven when the Son turned to the heavenly Father and said, “I love Francis. I will bring him to Myself, show him My ways and become the strength of his life.

Never wonder if God loves you. Rather, look at your heart. Do you love Him? If so, your love for Him is proof of His love for you. We love, because He first loved us.

Heavenly Father, help us to pause, to absorb into our consciousness the impact of Your purposed love for us. Let this wondrous love influence everything we think and all that we do and become: I am my Beloved’s and He is mine. You banner over me is love.  Let my life be flavored by Your unfailing mercy until, with all my heart, I love You, even as You have loved me.

And considering everything from the look and feel to the name to the implied uses of this technology all smell satanic, this is either the real thing or a very huge red herring.

FEATURED ANALYSIS

The Jihadi Attack in North Dakota

So, why haven’t you heard about this attack?

Mark Alexander

This week, emerging accounts would indicate that a jihadi terrorist ambushed and murdered 23-year-old Fargo, North Dakota, rookie police officer Jake Wallin, a Minnesota Army National Guard vet who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. The Islamist assailant wounded two other officers and a civilian bystander before a fourth officer, Zach Robinson, killed the assailant.

The assault was reminiscent of a jihadi ambush on a Tennessee military installation almost eight years ago to the day. Both the attacks occurred in the week of Eid al-Ghadir on the Islamic calendar, observed by Shia Muslims as among the most significant Islamic holidays.

Authorities believe that the assailant, a Syrian national who was granted entry into the U.S. on a 2012 asylum request, was on his way to commit mass murder of those attending the second day of a Fargo Street festival — where thousands were in attendance. It is believed he used an auto accident involving other vehicles as a diversion to begin his assault before moving to his primary target, the festival. This is also similar to the Tennessee attack, as that Islamist began his attack in one location, believed to be a diversion to draw police away from his primary target so he could inflict maximum carnage.

The Fargo assailant attack plan was clear. State Attorney General Drew Wrigley noted investigators had thus far determined that the assailant had Internet searches for terms including “kill fast,” “explosive ammo,” “incendiary rounds,” and “mass shooting events,” all of which indicated he had been planning this attack for some time. The night before his assault, he searched for “area events where there are crowds,” which resulted in headlines for two events, the Red River Valley Fair and the Downtown Fargo Street Fair.

He was armed with more than 1,800 rounds of ammunition, three containers of gasoline, and two propane tanks, one of which was, according to Wrigley, half-filled with “explosive materials concocted at home, purchased lawfully.”

If not for the actions of Officer Robinson, the news about this incident would be very different. Wrigley said that Robinson was “the last man standing in that blue line at that moment. What he was standing between was not just the horrible events that were unfolding there, but between the horrible events that Mohamad Barakat had envisioned, planned, and intended and armed himself for that day.”

Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski added: “It is clear that this individual was a calculated, insidious, murderous individual dead set on hurting, killing as many people as possible. He had the intent, he had the commitment, he had the means. There is evil in the world, this guy was one of them. He was an evil individual.”

According to Wrigley: “Motive. Obvious motive to kill. I mean driven by hate, driven by wanting to kill.” Wrigley noted a report about the assailant was in the FBI’s Guardian system, officially known as the Terrorist Threat and Suspicious Incident Tracking System, but he said there was no clear evidence “the shooting was not motivated by religious beliefs.”

As for the assailant’s Muslim affiliations, local media reported, “A family member’s request made to local mosque leaders to handle Barakat’s funeral arrangements has been refused, said Sajid Ghauri, an adviser to the Moorhead mosque, known as the Moorhead Fargo Islamic Center.” Ghauri explained: “We have no clue whether he was even Muslim because his action doesn’t show that. So with that being said … we refused to do a funeral or burial in this area. Even if he’s a member, he can’t mess with our community like that.”

Wait, what? “Even if he’s a member”? Well, apparently he can mess with your community like that.

So, why haven’t you heard about this attack?

If this had been perpetrated by one of Joe Biden’s white supremacist bogeymen hiding around every corner, it would have been front-page news. Of course, Democrats and their Leftmedia talkingheads and scribes bury anything that does not fit their political narrative. That would include the politically inconvenient truth about race and violence, which they attempt to pass off as “gun violence” or, more recently, “structural racism,” which can only be solved by gun control.

Waiting to hear from the FBI about the assailant’s motives… Waiting on Biden to blame it on “gun violence,” though for some reason he has not wanted to draw attention to the attack…

We offer our prayers for the family of Jake Wallin, with eternal gratitude, as with all officers killed in the line of duty listed on our End of Watch page.

Demography Destiny, for Us and China

Population matters, but continuity of character matters more. Without that, a nation ceases to be.

Daniel McCarthy

One way to win a war is to let your opponent commit suicide.

Americans have a habit of thinking about China in this light.

For the longest time, the intelligentsia in our country assumed Beijing’s Communist system would collapse on its own, just as the Soviet Union’s did.

Of course, the West had a policy of containment toward the USSR — in contrast to a policy of encouraging China’s integration into global institutions like the World Trade Organization in the 1990s and 2000s.

But if relying on globalization to turn China into a democracy was a failure, today optimists see another way to get Beijing to defeat itself.

The strategy depends on demographics.

Chinese birth rates, like those in most of the industrialized world, have plummeted.

India surpasses China as the world’s most populous country this year, according to United Nations estimates.

Each has more than 1.4 billion people, but India is still growing, while China’s population, as of last year, is shrinking.

China’s own National Bureau of Statistics says that the fertility rate — births per woman — is only 1.0 to 1.1, far below the replacement level of 2.1.

And China’s population is aging: The country’s National Health Commission projects that by 2035, it will have more than 400 million people over the age of 60.

The ratio of retirees to workers will rise with no end in sight.

Some of China’s neighbors are in worse shape, to be sure.

Taiwan had a total fertility of just 0.87 children per woman in 2022, one of the lowest levels in world history.

The U.S., on the other hand, has a total fertility rate of 1.66, according to Congressional Budget Office estimates, and that will increase to 1.75 by 2030, as more older women give birth.

But what really gives America a demographic edge, say the optimists, is immigration.

Despite fertility levels below replacement, the U.S. population grows every year thanks to immigration.

Can an aging, shrinking and, of course, unfree China compete with a younger, growing and free America?

Asking that question, many liberal pundits and policy wonks feel as cocksure as they felt in 1999.

But they were wrong then.

Globalization only made China stronger, and it fractured America’s social compact, leading to the intense polarization of our politics today.

The highly educated winners of globalization are on one side; abandoned Americans turned to populism, nationalism and Donald Trump.

Overconfidence in immigration-driven demographics will lead to similar upheavals.

The proportion of foreign-born persons in the United States today, some 13.7%, is about as high as it was at the peak of the last great wave of immigration in the early 20th century.

Back then, pressure on immigrants to assimilate was enormous — and even so, immigration was political dynamite, with voters ultimately so concerned that they elected Republicans who restricted immigration for 40 years, a pause in which assimilation could take root.

Today, however, multiculturalism, rather than assimilation, is the official ideology of at least one of our political parties and almost all our elite institutions.

Public schools, which enforced assimilation a century ago, now teach students to celebrate every kind of identity except the traditional American one.

Another difference is that 21st-century immigration is global: China and India are in fact two of the leading sources of legal and illegal immigration to the U.S. today.

There were intense conflicts between Protestants and Catholics, Christians and Jews, in the earlier era, but these groups also had a common religious heritage.

That’s less true of immigration today, and it’s one of the factors driving the change in America’s spiritual demographics, from a country with a huge Christian supermajority and broadly Christian culture to one with a dwindling 63% Christian majority and no common religious foundation.

The significance of the greater cultural and ethnic diversity of immigration today, at a time when our institutions reject assimilation to the historic American character, is that it undermines every sense of what it means to be a single people.

In an age when public trust in government is already strained to the breaking point, and each party hardly accepts the democratic legitimacy of the other, calling the cohesion of the people into question is not only reckless; it’s potentially suicidal.

That’s what Beijing is counting on.

In 2050, China will be grayer.

But old men don’t start revolutions, and their dependence on the state is all the greater.

America’s wealthy whites will be old, too, and younger, poorer Americans, taught to question the nation’s past, may well wonder why they should sweat to pay for the former majority’s retirement — or for its pledges to Europe and East Asia.

Population matters, but continuity of character matters more. Without that, a nation ceases to be.

Executive News Summary

Biden Crime Family update, looming UPS strike, no more tax man at your door, and more.

Thomas Gallatin & Jordan Candler

Cross-Examination

  • Biden Crime Family update: Yet another piece of evidence has been added to a growing pile that keeps undercutting Joe Biden’s claim that he was never involved in his son Hunter’s foreign business dealings. A photo from Hunter’s infamous laptop has emerged showing Hunter sitting in his father’s Corvette outside Joe’s Delaware home on the same day he sent his alleged “shakedown” message to Henry Zhao, CEO of a Chinese asset management firm. Meanwhile, in the House’s investigation into the Bidens, questions have arisen as to whether or not Hunter’s “best friend in business,” Devon Archer, will ever show up to testify before the Oversight Committee. He canceled his scheduled appearance on Monday, making this the third time he has backed out. However, Archer did testify before a federal grand jury. Lastly, who is buying Hunter’s “art”? The White House claimed that it would ensure that “reasonable safeguards” were in place to prevent the sale of the art being used as a means of gaining “influence” over his father. Well, it turns out that one of Hunter’s buyers is a Democrat donor who, months after Hunter’s first art show, got a cushy federal job — an appointment to the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad.
  • Looming UPS strike threatens supply chain: With the August 1 date for a national strike for 340,000 UPS workers looming, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce sent a letter to the Biden administration requesting intervention to prevent an economically crippling event. The letter was signed by more than 250 organizations and argues, “Given the debilitating impact of a strike on American families and the economy, we urge your Administration to provide the support necessary to help the parties reach a new agreement by the August 1 deadline.” With UPS moving an estimated $3.8 billion worth of goods daily, a 15-day strike would result in the U.S. economy losing upwards of $55 billion.
  • Russia attacks Ukrainian port: On Monday, Russian forces attacked a port on the Danube River near Ukraine’s border with Romania. A grain storage facility was struck, as Russia has evidently ended its agreement last year to not attack Ukraine’s grain shipments in the Black Sea. This attack is the closest Moscow has come to hitting a NATO country since Russian forces invaded Ukraine last year. The attack signifies Russia is stepping up its efforts to cripple Ukraine’s economy.
  • No more tax man at your door: The IRS announced on Monday that the tax agency will “end most” of its unannounced visits to taxpayers’ homes. According to the agency, the reason for this policy change is due to “public confusion,” as well as an effort to “enhance overall safety measures for taxpayers and employees.” This policy change, which will be effective immediately, reverses a decades-long practice of the IRS, and according to IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel, it “will increase confidence in our tax administration work and improve overall safety for taxpayers and IRS employees.” As Werfel also explained: “We have the tools we need to successfully collect revenue without adding stress with unannounced visits. The only losers with this change in policy are scammers posing as the IRS.”
  • Indoctrinating white doctors: The American College of Radiology (ACR) appears to have become infected with a raging case of “wokeness,” as the professional society is pressing thousands of doctors and scientists who make up its members to take a course on “systemic racism” and “white privilege.” The ACR is strongly urging doctors and medical students to take a course titled “Health Equity: Life in Black and White,” which is undergirded by the Marxist CRT worldview. The course attacks the actually anti-racist ideology of colorblindness, instead promoting the dubious notions of “micro aggressions,” “white privilege,” “intersectionality” dynamics, and “unconscious or implicit bias.” In other words, the course is effectively designed to indoctrinate doctors into the cult of woke by using that tired refrain of seeking “to advance health equity.”
  • Good news: Maskless churchgoers to receive big payout: In September 2020, Gabriel Rench along with two others were arrested by Moscow, Idaho, police during an outdoor worship service because they were not wearing masks. On Monday, the city of Moscow agreed to a large settlement, $300,000, with Rench after he sued over having his First and Fourth Amendment rights violated. Rench contends that the city settled due to the issue having become a “massive PR problem.” He noted, “I’m very grateful that I got a victory,” adding, “How many people nationwide didn’t get a victory?” Rench likened Moscow, which is a liberal college town, to many places across the country where liberalism has turned into a modern-day cult. “They use coercion, they want power, and they have no real moral standard that is kind of fixed for them,” he stated. Thankfully, at least in Moscow, these leaders who abused a citizen’s rights were forced to make restitution.

Good News: Family-Friendly American Theme Park Coming Soon

The Left ruins everything, so conservatives are slowly building a parallel economy.

Emmy Griffin

Oklahoma is soon to be the home of a new theme park called American Heartland Theme Park and Resort. Located near scenic Route 66, this choice to create a park to rival Disney’s Magic Kingdom is a wise one.

As the name implies, it is America-themed. The park will feature six sections, each promoting a different region of the U.S. They are called “Great Plains,” “Bayou Bay,” “Big Timber Falls,” “Stony Point Harbor,” “Liberty Village,” and “Electropolis.” The park will walk visitors through American history, but that’s not all it intends to showcase. Gene Bicknell, American Heartland founder and CCO, explained: “There is so much to celebrate about our country: its landscapes, its cultures and most importantly, its people. No matter where you’re from, you’ll feel right at home at American Heartland.” This park will take up 125 acres of the 1,000-acre property and is set to open officially in 2026. The rest of the property will be for other experiences like RV-ing, camping, cabins, etc.

It promises to be a lovely park experience that won’t impoverish families who buy tickets or stay on-site.

Opening up a park in the middle of America is an opportunity that has been missed by companies such as Disney. Disney features two parks in the U.S. — Florida’s Disney World and California’s Disneyland, which are at two opposite sides of the country. These parks have long been held as the gold standard for family-friendly theme-park experiences. Disney, however, has fallen from its pedestal. According to RedState, “The company’s stock has dropped almost 20 percent in the last six months, and in May, its market value plummeted by a cool $16 billion.”

The Patriot Post has reported on the numerous flops of expected Disney blockbuster films, but what is becoming more evident is that its parks are in trouble too. Disneyland is only back to 90% of its pre-pandemic visitor numbers. Disney World is even worse off. The park saw a 10-year low in attendance over the July 4th weekend. Its wait times for rides — calculated by Touring Plans, a company that gathers and measures line waits — had dropped from a 47-minute wait-time average in 2019 to a 27-minute wait time in 2023. That’s great for visitors, but it means there are fewer of them.

The biggest complaint about Disney’s parks is the sheer expense. The average family can’t afford to take their kids there without causing significant financial hardship. A one-day ticket to a single theme park costs $109 per ticket. However, when you actually click on the promised $109, that only applies to certain times of year. If you want to go to Disney World tomorrow, a ticket actually costs $134. Multiply that by three or four for a family and you’re quickly approaching $500+ . That’s only for a single day’s admission to one park, not counting food, lodging, parking, or souvenirs. Visit more than one park over multiple days and you’re quickly looking at a bill in the thousands of dollars.

The steep price complaint is valid.

However, it seems fairly obvious at this point that Disney is getting Bud Lighted. Disney has declared its allegiance to all things woke and destructive, and it’s not stopping anytime soon.

American Heartland Theme Park and Resort is representative of a larger movement among non-woke Americans to create a parallel economy. Conservatives and independents (and even some classic liberals) are tired of giving their money to companies like Disney, Target, and Anheuser-Busch that throw their godless, America-hating ideology in our faces. For a larger, more comprehensive list of alternative companies that don’t hate your values, check out PublicSq.

The hope is that American Heartland lives up to its hype and provides that family-friendly alternative for conscientious parents who can’t and won’t give places like Disney their business.

The Big Apple’s Sanctuary Disaster

New Yorkers were in favor of their status as a sanctuary city — until they were against it.

Michael Swartz

Here’s the thing with leftists: They can virtue signal all day long, so long as no one calls their bluff. But as soon as that happens, they learn just how much reality bites.

Such is the story of New York City Mayor Eric Adams, whose city years ago wanted to show just how much it cared by agreeing to a consent decree to “provide shelter for those without homes.” When Adams ran for office, he doubled down on this decree by pledging, along with the other seven Democrats who ran for the city’s mayoral nomination in 2021, to maintain former mayor Bill de Blasio’s sanctuary city policy and provide services for all comers.

New Yorkers, the vast majority of whom vote Democrat, felt good about their sanctuary citydom, and they followed up on their overwhelming support for Joe Biden the previous year by electing Adams as mayor.

Things were hunky-dory for a time, as New Yorkers watched their local news and marveled at the deteriorating situation on the southern border. But then Texas Governor Greg Abbott loaded up the first bus full of illegal aliens and pointed it to the Big Apple. New York is “the ideal destination for these migrants, who can receive the abundance of city services and housing that Mayor Eric Adams has boasted about within the sanctuary city,” Abbott mockingly noted. “I hope he follows through on his promise of welcoming all migrants with open arms so that our overrun and overwhelmed border towns can find relief.”

The mockery didn’t stop there. “Whoever decided to send all these illegal immigrants to leftwing cities deserves a medal,” quipped Not the Bee’s Harris Rigby.

But for Eric Adams, it’s been almost a year of scrambling to address the problems caused by his city’s sanctuary status, including $2 billion from the city’s coffers. Step one for Adams was sending the message to the southern border that migrants should “consider another city.”

Well. According to The Washington Free Beacon, “The new flyer that New York City plans to circulate at the border highlights the high cost of housing, food and other necessities that migrants will encounter if they travel to the U.S. financial center.” And even though the city promised it would take care of them, they’re now introducing a 60-day shelter stay restriction.

So much for virtue signaling. Indeed, promises are made to be broken. For a time, a relocation to New York City was followed by another relocation to the suburbs — until the suburbs declared their own states of emergency and told the city to pound sand. After all, they never promised to be sanctuary cities. The problem then shifted to upstate New York, where the Adams relocation plan reportedly tossed the local distressed population out of a bargain motel in Rotterdam, New York. Local State Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara decried the idea of “thoughtlessly sending buses with migrants to [the local motel], completely disregarding the fact that many of the individuals already residing there were struggling with poverty themselves and are now displaced.”

Hot Air’s Jazz Shaw sums it up well. “Adams has already asked the City Council to modify the right to shelter law,” said Shaw, “but they have been unwilling to do so. What they really need to do is scrap the law altogether and do away with all of the sanctuary status nonsense. These people came into the country illegally and they need to be removed. New York has enough of its own legal residents who are homeless and in need of help. That needs to be the Mayor’s priority. And this ‘sanctuary city’ nonsense has been exposed for the total farce that it is.”

Ya hate to see it. Just hate to see it when a progressive exercise in virtue signaling backfires so spectacularly.

Why Parents of Trans Kids Won’t Admit an Awful Mistake

Sometimes it’s far worse than a mistake — it’s a physical change there’s no hope of completely undoing.

Nate Jackson

Why are there an increasing number of children who are “transitioning” their gender? Why are they taking the same “hormone therapy” drug used to treat cancer or manage sex offenders? Why are they lopping off perfectly healthy body parts or creating false, painful holes that require daily dilation?

In a word, parents.

Sure, we’ve covered the very real social contagion aspect of the “transgender” movement. We’ve called out the groomers who are clearly targeting kids for membership in the gender cult so as to validate their own mental status and life choices. We’ve harshly criticized the predatory medical establishment that sees nothing but a cash cow. We’ve slammed the politicians and bureaucrats who elevate this issue for political gain and power accumulation in defiance of the science they claim to represent.

Just like in “Sound of Freedom,” there are real villains in this horrific tale of an increasing trend of child sexual abuse.

Where, then, are the parents? Where are the people whose primary mission is to protect their own kids from harm, not subject them to it?

Sadly, many of them are part of the cult. Some of them have gotten rich by exploiting their child on national television. And they’re not going to leave the cult easily.

True believers or duped pawns, an awful lot of people “can’t move on,” says Helen Joyce, an editor for The Economist. “That’s the people who have transitioned their own children.” She goes on at some length to explain the horrifying reality:

Those people are going to be like the Japanese soldiers who were on Pacific islands and didn’t know the war was over. They’ve got to fight forever. … This is another reason why this is the worst, worst, worst social contagion that we’ll ever have experienced. A lot of people have done the worst thing that you could do, which is to harm their children irrevocably. … Those people will have to believe that they did the right thing for the rest of their lives for their own sanity and for their own self-respect. So, they’ll still be fighting.

And each one of those people destroys entire organizations and entire friendship groups. I’ve lost count of the number of times that somebody has said to me of a specific organization that has got turned upside down on this, “Oh, the deputy director has a trans child.” Or, you know, “The journalist on that paper who does special investigations has a trans child.” Or whatever. The entire organization gets paralyzed by that one person. …

You can’t talk truth in front of that person and you know you can’t. Because what you’re saying is, “You, as a parent, have done a truly … human rights abuse-level of awful thing to your child that cannot be fixed. …

The fact is that just simply by saying we will never accept natal males in women’s spaces — well, it’s their son that we’re talking about. And they’ve told their son that he can get himself sterilized and destroy his own sexual function and women will accept him as a woman. And if we don’t, there’s no way back for them and their child. They sold their child a bill of goods that they can’t deliver on, and I’m the one who has to be bullied to try to force me to deliver on it.

So, those people are going to be the people who will keep this bloody movement going, I’m sorry to say, because they’ve everything to lose, and it’s a fight to the death as far as they’re concerned.

The whole interview is worth a listen, but that section starts near the end at about the 1:07:20 mark.

If Joyce’s words didn’t cut you to the core, maybe you’re not paying attention.

Children are the most vulnerable among us, the most impressionable, the most likely to suffer abuse at the hands of adults. We don’t let young kids drive, drink alcohol, or head to the range with a pistol. We don’t let them vote, marry, sign contracts, buy cars, or obtain credit cards. Heck, there are countless stories of some perhaps well-meaning busybody who called the cops on unattended children at neighborhood playgrounds.

Yet we’re supposed to conduct medical experiments on children based on their confused emotions?

Really?!

Unfortunately, the aforementioned predatory medical establishment is often at the center of this. Parents concerned about a struggling child are asked, “Would you like a trans kid or a dead kid?” The premise is a sinister lie, but too many parents succumb. Again, others are dedicated cult members.

In neither case, as Joyce explained, are they likely to admit that they are guilty of (at least allowing) terrible abuse of their child.

That’s why not much mainstream media attention is given to detransitioners who come forward to help other people avoid the pain they’ll live with for the rest of their lives. A young man known only as Kobe told Fox News his story just last week. “I was expecting it to help me help my mental health, and it didn’t do anything,” he said of surgical intervention to transition to female. “I just wasted so much time, and all I did really was become a medical patient for life.”

Where were his parents? Also victimized by the lie. A rather effeminate boy, Kobe told his parents he was trans when he was 11. Eleven. Thanks to social media influencers, he learned to “play the suicide card.” He said, “I don’t want to use the word ‘groom,’ but we are, like, taught.” What he was taught was self-hatred with one very particular way out. “I don’t think I would have ever been suicidal about being biologically male if I had never been exposed to that stuff.”

Kobe laments that now he has breasts and “the hip development of a woman because I started the estrogen young.” He has “no gonads,” though fortunately he avoided more extensive genital surgery. He is scarred for life and has other health challenges caused by these “treatments.”

His parents apparently went along because they thought they had no other choice. They do have another choice, and more parents must make that other choice. Don’t maim your kids based on a lie. Fight for them and the truth.

We’re a political journal, not a religious one, but we’re also Christians here in our humble shop. That means we know the good news is literally the good news — salvation through Jesus Christ as presented in the Gospel. Put another way, there’s hope for all of us, no matter what we’ve done or what’s been done to us.

That includes you, dear child or young adult who suffered through quack science and medical experimentation.

That includes you, dear parent who either bought the fiction hook, line, and sinker or who was bullied into harming your child because you thought it was helping.

There may be no way back from some physical changes. But that doesn’t mean that has to be the end of your story. There is hope. There is life. Seek and you will find.

“Sure, it’s fun to talk about salacious parts of the Hunter case, but the far bigger concern should be finding out why companies operating in authoritarian nations sent the Bidens $17 million. American credit card debt soars at fastest pace in 20 years – research | RT – Daily news by RT

Another interest rate hike from the US Federal Reserve this week would push borrowing costs even higher

Credit card debt in the US grew in the first quarter of this year at its fastest pace in two decades, a recent report has suggested.

In the first quarter of this year, total credit card balances rose by more than 17% from a year ago, marking the largest annual jump in at least 20 years, independent investment research and online financial media company Hedgeye has reported, citing data from the US Federal Reserve.

The cost of revolving credit – a type of credit that does not have a fixed number of payments, in contrast to instalment loans – continued to notch higher to multi-decade highs, the Hedgeye report added. As of last week, the average interest rate on new credit cards stood at 20.82%, compared to just over 12% a decade ago, according to Fed data.

Americans now hold a record amount of credit card debt – nearly $988 billion, according to Fed data released in June.

Financial experts believe the debt keeps piling up in part because high inflation has been forcing households to lean more heavily on their credit cards to cover monthly expenses.

The consumer price index hit a 40-year high of 9.1% in June 2022 on the back of a surge in energy and food prices. Inflation has cooled since then, having dropped to 5-6% in the first quarter of this year and to 3% in June.

The drop in inflation has come after the Fed has hiked rates ten times in just over a year, bringing the federal funds rate to the current range of between 5.00-5.25%, up from 1.75% a year ago. The Fed is widely expected to raise rates again this week, despite the slowing inflation.

Joe Biden again falsely claims a role in civil rights activism in the 1960s

President Biden on Tuesday again claimed that he was part of the civil rights movement of the 1960s — a story he has repeatedly rewritten and even debunked himself in the 1980s.

“Nothing To See Here”: Members & The Media Panic As The Biden Scandal Mounts | ZeroHedge News

Authored by Jonathan Turley,

Below is my column in the New York Post on the last ditch effort of the members of Congress and the media to get the public to just “move on” from the Biden corruption scandal.

The message has been clear and amplified, as former U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) insisted on MSNBC, “Everybody needs to back off!” As evidence and public interest increase, it is a bit late for spin or shiny objects. This week, the scandal is likely to be even more serious for the Bidens and the country. The media is increasingly taking on the appearance of Leslie Nielsen in Naked Gun yelling that there is “nothing to see here” in front of a virtual apocalyptic scene of fire and destruction.

Here is the column:

“I wonder after this plea happens if you would advise your party to move on?”

That question from CBS’s “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan to Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie was raised just days before a former business associate of Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, gives potentially explosive testimony to a House committee in the Biden corruption scandal.

The media’s desire to “move on” from the scandal is reaching an almost frantic level, as millions in foreign payments and dozens of corporate shell companies are revealed, and incriminating emails are released.

The same plaintive demand was made in congressional hearings.

What was most striking about the last hearing involving two respected IRS whistleblowers was how Democratic members avoided virtually any specific questions.

The members discussed everything from the Emmett Till murder in 1955 to whether the term “two-tiered justice system” is racially insensitive … and of course, Donald Trump.

It was clear that the release of the new evidence of corruption had left no room to maneuver for both Democrat politicians and the media.

Any question would now trip a wire on the Bidens, so most avoid the allegations in favor of talking about Trump or other shiny objects.

The only member who was unwise enough to venture into the allegations was Rep. Dan Goldman (D.-N.Y.) and the result was disastrous for the Democrats.

Goldman bizarrely raised one of the most damaging new pieces of evidence in the investigation.

He asked about a “lunch where Joe Biden came to say hello at the Four Season’s hotel to a lunch that he was having with CEFC executives.”

He then read how Biden associate Rob Walker described the origins of the meeting with the Chinese officials to get his dad to stop by: “Hunter told his Dad that ‘I may be trying to start a company or try to do something with these guys.’ “

Goldman asked slyly, “Now let me ask you something, that doesn’t sound much like Joe Biden was involved in whatever Hunter was doing with the CEFC, if Hunter Biden is telling him that he is trying to do business with them, does it?”

That is when Shapley stated the obvious: “No, but it does show that he told his father that he was trying to do business and . . . ” Goldman finally saw that problem and cut him off with “OK, well that is true that Hunter Biden does try to do business, that is correct.”

The problem is that Goldman just elicited sworn testimony on how Joe Biden did in fact know about these business dealings despite years of categorical denials of having any knowledge or interaction with Hunter or his business associates.

Goldman demolished the Biden defense in less than five minutes.

Now, Archer is expected to testify that Joe Biden participated in actual telephone calls with them. That will allow investigators to build further on the foundation Goldman laid.

Archer will join other witnesses like Hunter’s business associate Tony Bobulinski, who said that he sat down with Joe Biden to discuss the deals. Bobulinski was instructed by Biden associate James Gilliar not to speak of the former veep’s connection to any transactions.

No matter the severity of the revelations, the liberal media calls the investigations a “clown show.

Others have continued to tell the public that there remain no alleged ties from Hunter to President Biden despite emails, pictures and witness testimony.

Yet it is becoming harder and harder to avoid these details.

With the possible testimony of Hunter’s business associates, the only hope is that Republicans might be convinced to “move on.”

What was most notable about the question to Christie was the reference to the plea bargain.

A year ago, I wrote a column on how the political and media establishment would likely use a “scandal implosion” approach as the evidence mounted over the corruption allegations.

After the Democrats lost the House, there was a need to cap off the scandal and I suggested that the Justice Department would secure a light plea on a couple tax counts with little or no jail time.

Members and the media would then declare the scandal closed and demand that we all “move on.”

It is unnerving to see how the response unfolded so precisely as predicted. Members made repeated reference to the plea bargain to avoid further discussion.

Rep. Kweisi Mfume (D.-Md.) was positively irate that “We are doing this all over again for the Hunter Biden show to someone who has pleaded guilty and has taken responsibility for not filing taxes for two years. This is ludicrous. Beam me up, Scotty. There’s no intelligent life down here. None.”

He then tore up papers in disgust.

Members and the media were literally citing a plea bargain as dispositive, even as two lead investigators were saying it was fixed and politically influenced.

Some in the media attacked these two IRS veterans as “so-called whistleblowers” (just as members previously attacked “so called journalists” for discussing censorship records).

Others insisted that the allegations were still “unproven” or “unverified” while showing the same lack of interest in establishing the truth.

Notably, these same media outlets did wall-to-wall coverage of the false Russian collusion claims in the Steele dossier.

They are now simply shrugging off what could be one of the most serious corruption scandals in modern history despite the testimony of highly credible whistleblowers and thousands of pages of supporting evidence.

None of this is going to work, of course. The public has long ago lost trust in the media. Indeed, the “Let’s Go, Brandon” movement is as much a mocking of the media as it is the President.

Polls show that the public is not “moving on” and now view this as a major scandal. A majority believes that Hunter has received special protection in the investigation. While the media can continue to suppress the evidence and allegations within their own echo-chambered platforms, truth like water has a way of finding a way out.

The scandal is moving forward with or without the media.

“This is a Digital Prison… It’s a Global Government” – Dean Michele Bachmann on the Global Effort to Eliminate Our Freedom | The Gateway Pundit

This article originally appeared on JoeHoft.com and was republished with permission.

Michele Bachmann is concerned about the globalists whose arrogance leads them to deny God-given individual rights.

Michele Bachmann joined The Joe Hoft Show on TNTRadio.live on Monday to discuss frightening actions by world elites who are implementing processes that ignore individual rights across the globe.

The former Minnesota US Representative and current Head of the School of Government at Regent University is one of the thought leaders in the US and the world today.

She shared her concerns with efforts around the globe that are praised as being high-tech but, on the other hand, destroy individual freedoms people enjoy today in the US and elsewhere.

Bachmann shared:

People sense that there is something seriously, drastically wrong and that something is that you and I and people across the world are losing their freedom and their authority to make decisions…What we are seeing is that our choices are being taken away from us. As a matter of fact, we are being punished for choices.  We are being censored for choices.

We may not have the freedoms in the very near future that we enjoyed just even 5 years ago and 10 years ago.  We’re seeing that not only in the United States but we’re seeing that globally in countries across the world…Today there is a threat of global domination.  It seems to come from global institutions but also from people who have more wealth than people who have ever seen before in the history of man.

Dean Bachmann then shared some recent personal experiences and a video from an Indonesian official who recently praised the idea of global passports for the “next pandemic.”

Bachmann shares:

They’re planning on another pandemic right around the corner.  Of course, the pandemic is just a pretext for control.

Another video shared by Dean Bachmann shows a foreigner going into an ALDI grocery store and unable to purchase food.

This is a cover-up to set up a global government through the World Health Organization, the WHO and the United Nations.  This is real…

…When will we wake up.  They’re not going to ask for out consent…What this is is a digital prison but it’s actually global government…

What about us?  The United States is the prize.

Biden Creates New ‘Permanent’ Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy, Laying Foundation for New Round of Medical Martial Law | The Gateway Pundit

Guest post by Leo Hohmann

Will Americans be duped again into complying with high-pressure masking, group-think, forced lockdowns, and repeated mRNA jabs?

Last week on Friday, July 21, the Biden administration quietly announced the creation of a new permanent office within the White House called the Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy, or OPPR.

Joe Biden has named a military man, retired Air Force Maj. General Paul Friedrichs, to head up the new office.

Why now? I thought Covid was over. Biden said months ago Covid was over, totally conquered.

The only folks I know who are still getting Covid are the ones who got multiple mRNA Covid jabs, causing their immune-compromised bodies to continue to manufacture the toxic spike proteins, which then make them sick. We also continue to hear weekly of young healthy people who are dying “suddenly” with no warning.

By creating this new office and emphasizing that it will be “permanent,” this is a red flag that should have our keen attention. Is the government, still drunk with new powers gained from the last pandemic, telegraphing to us plebiscites that another pandemic is right around the corner?

The significance of this step by Biden last Friday cannot be fully and properly contextualized without going into a little history dating back to 2019 and 2020. We could go even further back to show how U.S. laws were changed in preparation for a massively hyped pandemic, but for the sake of space I will only go back a few years.

While the media and the entire globalist establishment did their best to hide it, the United States, in the spring of 2020, went into a form of medical martial law.

In a May 15, 2020, news release from the Department of Defense, the Trump administration announced the appointment of “General Gustave F. Perna as chief operating officer of Operation Warp Speed, the administration’s national program to accelerate the development, manufacturing, and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics (medical countermeasures).”

Below is Trump at the White House podium with General Perna as he announced the launch of Operation Warp Speed.

On May 14, 2020, Reuters reported as follows:

President Donald Trump is mobilizing the U.S. military to distribute a novel coronavirus vaccine when one becomes available and will focus first on older Americans.

“You know it’s a massive job to give this vaccine,” Trump said in an interview broadcast Thursday on Fox Business Network. “Our military is now being mobilized so at the end of the year, we’re going to be able to give it to a lot of people very, very rapidly.”

He said he believes there will be a vaccine by the end of the year and the United States is mobilizing “our military and other forces” on that assumption.

Where did that assumption come from? Who was Trump relying on for his information and guidance in placing a Covid vaccine — which we are told did not even exist at that point, let alone been tested for short, medium and long-term safety — under the U.S. military?

I’m not sure if this had ever been done before, at least not in America.

Militaries are built to mobilize for war. And this was no different.

The war was about to be waged against the American people. The weapons of war in this case would be a fierce propaganda campaign to prepare the battlefield, followed by a massive effort to inject a bioweapon directly into the bodies of every man, woman and child, down to 6 months of age.

The establishment waged this war for two years. Get a shot. Get another shot, and another, and another. They paid you to get it. They threatened you with loss of job, loss of rights to travel and assemble, loss of healthcare, and loss of various benefits if you didn’t get it. When has that ever happened before?

On September 1, 2022, Biden delivered his infamous “red speech” in which he threatened Americans who opposed his policies on Covid vaccines and other issues while flanked by two U.S. Marines. The symbolic message was unmistakable.

The leash of tyranny has been loosened over the last 10 to 12 months. Travel has returned to normal, most of the mandates have been dropped, but all of the unconstitutional laws, rules, logistical practices and executive orders remain in place and at the ready to once again ramp up the heat on Americans to comply with whatever “new normal” the globalists desire to impose next.

And Biden is getting ready for it by creating this new OPPR.

But before we get into Biden’s latest government creation, we have to finish the story of what has led up to this point.

President Trump placed the distribution of an unproven, untested Covid vaccine under the U.S. military and engaged his White House Covid-19 Task Force, which was run by then-Vice President Mike Pence along with Dr. Deborah Birx.

Pence, a globalist neocon who comes across as almost robotic and soulless, was the perfect man for the job. He no doubt worked closely with the military-industrial complex to get this bioweapon offloaded into the civilian centers where it could be mass injected into the population.

The whole Covid response soon became all about vaccines. Every other treatment was demonized in the state-run media and on social media. Any counter messaging, any questioning of the vaccine’s safety or efficacy fell into what the federal government would call “mis-, dis-, or mal- information.” It had to be eradicated, silenced, and viciously countered, just as the globalists had war-gamed during the Event 201 tabletop exercise on October 19, 2019, in New York City. It was here that CIA agent Avril Haines participated along with representatives of the CDC, the Chinese CDC, the U.N. World Health Organization, the Gates Foundation and other globalist entities would rehearse their response to the upcoming Covid biowarfare production.

The Covid vaccine program became the most intense marketing and propaganda operation in world history, with people from all ages and all walks of life pressured to comply. I can still hear Trump bragging about the “medical miracle,” followed up a few months later by Joe Biden whispering “get the shot.”

When criticized for his role in bringing out an unsafe and ineffective vaccine based on all-new mRNA technology, Trump doubled down.

In May 2021, Trump gave himself credit for the coronavirus vaccine rollout, calling it “one of the greatest miracles of the ages.”

Trump issued a statement saying that without his administration’s help with the purchase and military distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine, the U.S. wouldn’t be where it’s at in terms of the number of vaccinated Americans, adding that it took his team just nine months to develop a vaccine while “everybody was saying it would take at least 3-5 years.”

These two men, Trump and Biden, are more alike than many of us are willing to admit, because when the chips were down, neither one was a true leader. They simply did what the same group of unelected “experts” told them to do.

The whole theater production remains to this day a largely military psychological operation based on fear and mass compliance.

After initially criticizing what Trump had done in terms of “operation warp speed,” Joe Biden, once he took office, continued the Trump policy of militarizing and pressurizing the vaccine rollout. Almost no American could honestly say they did not feel at least some pressure to submit to the shots. If you didn’t then you must live in a cocoon.

The declaration of a national emergency was the key component used to engage the military and shield the vaccine manufacturers from even rudimentary levels of accountability and liability for their products. Because the vaccine was presented under “medical counter-measures” and placed under the military, all national and international laws protecting the civilian population from harmful experimental medical treatments were waived. Tens of thousands of Americans have paid for this outrage with their lives. Others have been permanently harmed and placed on disability, no longer able to work.

Among the laws that were waived was the requirement that all people offered experimental treatments must be granted “informed consent” – a requirement that’s embedded in both the U.S. Emergency Use Authorization laws as well as international law through the Nuremburg Code.

Physicians were allowed to violate informed consent, which requires full disclosure of all ingredients and all potential side effects, in the experimental treatment. Most doctors and nurses never even questioned what was in the vaccines, let alone advised their patients about potential adverse events. If they did, they risked losing their medical licenses. So, they just repeated the narrative sent to them by the narrative creators. It was “safe and effective.”

In doing this, the doctors also violated their medical oath to “do no harm.”

Only under a situation of medical martial law could all of the laws and procedures meant to protect people be waived as they were in 2021 onward.

That’s the back story.

Fast forward to July 21, 2023.

The aforementioned military operation was so successful that the Biden administration is now making it permanent and taking it to the next level.

On Friday, July 21, the White House announced in a press release the creation of a new permanent office called the Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy, or OPPR with Maj. General Friedrichs at the helm.

Friedrichs has served as “special assistant” to the president as senior director of global health security and biodefense at the White House National Security Council. He’s also been in leadership positions with NATO.

So this is a man who’s right up there with General Mark Milley and Lloyd Austin in terms of his ability to rise up the ranks of the U.S. military. Guys like Milley, Austin and Friedrichs are essentially globalist military bureaucrats who get promoted up the ladder by kissing the right backsides, not because they are particularly brilliant or wise. That’s how it works in Washington.

The July 21 White House press release states:

“This will be a permanent office in the Executive Office of the President charged with leading, coordinating, and implementing actions related to preparedness for, and response to, known and unknown biological threats or pathogens.”

I thought that was why we had the CDC, the HHS, and multiple other agencies. Why do we need another biomedical-security office run by the military?

The release further states that this new office will, “Coordinate the Administration’s domestic response to public health threats that have pandemic potential, or may cause significant disruption, and strengthen domestic pandemic preparedness. This includes ongoing work to address potential public health outbreaks and threats from COVID-19, Mpox, polio, avian and human influenza, and RSV.”

Notice every one of the diseases listed has a vaccine ready and waiting.

But just in case you aren’t convinced that this new office will be all about getting more Americans injected with more of Big Pharma’s new generation of mRNA vaccines, the very next paragraph of the news release spells it out, stating that the new office will:

“Drive and coordinate federal science and technology efforts related to pandemic preparedness. Specifically, OPPR will oversee efforts to develop, manufacture, and procure the next generation of medical countermeasures, including leveraging emerging technologies and working with HHS on next generation vaccines and treatments for COVID-19 and other public health threats.

I suspect, after reading through this release, that the next big pandemic is already on the shelf and waiting to be released, to be followed by another vaccine rollout and mass-propaganda campaign.

In February 2022, Bill Gates told CNBC: “We’ll have another pandemic. It will be a different pathogen next time.”

How does Gates know this? It was 100 years between the Spanish Flu and Covid. Why is he so certain the next one is imminent and that it will be a different pathogen?

It’s no coincidence most countries are rolling out digital IDs and central bank digital currencies with some, such as Ethiopia, spotlighting 2025 for when these changes will be fully operational and mandated. Think of the possibilities if the next pandemic were to hit in the summer or fall of 2024 and just gets worse into 2025 as a new president is taking office. The globalist elites will by then have a newly upgraded digital enforcement mechanism to lock people down that was not available to them at the peak of the Covid plandemic in 2020 or 2021.

Covid 2020-2021 was a valuable test run, launched by the globalists to see how many people would accept their “new normal” of 24/7 surveillance, mandated and repeated mRNA vaccines, restrictions on travel, speech, assembly, religious practices, and all purchases.

Wash, rinse, repeat. The first round was successful beyond the globalists’ wildest dreams in conditioning people for the coming beast system. They won’t be able to resist a second round. The question is when, not if.
