Do you feel whole and complete, or is there the sense that something’s missing?
If you’re aware of an emptiness, what are you using to try and fill that void? Is it relationships with family and friends? Or have you opted for achievements, hoping they will bring a sense of significance? Maybe you use a substance or activity of some kind to deaden the ache or provide temporary comfort.
Jesus met a woman with just such an empty place in her soul. She was longing for a healthy relationship but had been repeatedly rejected. In those days, a man could divorce his wife simply because she displeased him in some way. The Samaritan woman had gone through this rejection five times and was now seeking to fill her soul with a man who wasn’t her husband.
She probably tried to cover up her hurt so those nearby wouldn’t notice, but when Jesus met her at the well and told all that she had done, her days of hiding were over. She had finally found the One who could bring wholeness to her life. Before you can fill the emptiness in your soul, you must likewise let Christ’s piercing gaze penetrate into the depths of your heart and reveal the root cause of your incompleteness.
We were created for God. All other pursuits are inadequate substitutes and will never bring the lasting satisfaction we are seeking. Life has a way of beating us down, leaving us depleted and disillusioned. But when we allow Jesus Christ unrestricted access to our hearts, He fills us up with His unfailing love.

We were having dinner with an interesting group of people from four cities in the United States and Canada. We had never met any of them before and found ourselves sitting beside a couple who were about our age and had also traveled the world. I enjoyed hearing about their adventures.
Towards the end of the meal, they let me know that they were not religious (they had seen us pray before we started our meal). I told them I wasn’t religious either, but I had a personal relationship with God. He said he was an atheist. “You don’t know what you’re missing,” I told him. Shortly after that we all left, but I continue to pray for them.

Cognitively disabled deadbeat granddad Joe Biden should be removed from office for a number of reasons, but perhaps chief among them is his involvement in influence-peddling corruption with his son Hunter Biden. It always bears repeating that Hunter doesn’t matter; Joe does.
This isn’t a story about hookers and cocaine. It’s one of bribery, corruption, and abuse of power.
A boatload of news hit over the last couple of days, so we’ll try to cut through the clutter.
Impeachment rumblings
There have been a series of hearings related to the Biden Crime Family in recent weeks, as House Republicans piece together the clear connection between Hunter Biden’s lucrative consulting and Joe Biden’s position as Barack Obama’s vice president. Time after time, the influence of the “Big Guy” netted loads of cash for numerous Biden family shell companies — cash coming from Ukraine, Romania, and China. And Republicans are slowly but surely uncovering the trail.
All of it finally led House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to open the door to impeaching Joe Biden. “This is rising to the level of impeachment inquiry,” McCarthy said Tuesday night, “which provides Congress the strongest power to get the rest of the knowledge and information needed.” It is the first time he has shown real inclination to consider impeachment.
Many other Republicans have been there for a while. Marjorie Taylor Greene, for one, famously introduced articles of impeachment the day after Biden’s inauguration — before Ole Joe even realized he was sitting at the desk in the Oval Office. Now, Jim Jordan, Andy Biggs, Bob Good, Jim Banks, Claudia Tenney, Ralph Norman, and others are clamoring for impeachment.
“One thing I do know is if you head down this road, it completely consumes Congress,” Jordan cautioned, recalling the Democrats’ “ridiculous impeachment of President Trump.”
Some Senate Republicans threw cold water on the idea. “It’s getting to be a habit around here, isn’t it?” wondered John Cornyn. Todd Young said almost the same thing: “We’ve had a lot of those recently, haven’t we?”
That’s only true because of two sham impeachments of Donald Trump courtesy of Democrats.
Mitt Romney, the lone Republican to vote to convict Trump in both of those trials, somehow doesn’t think what Biden is alleged to have done is all that serious. “The bar [for impeachment] is high crimes and misdemeanors,” he said, “and that hasn’t been alleged at this stage.” Uh, yes it has. Bribery is literally listed in the Constitution regarding impeachable offenses. McCarthy specifically talked about Biden’s bribery yesterday.
Still, Romney says, “I certainly hope [impeachment is] not going to confront us again.” Someone needs to help the Utah senator figure out which way is up.
Besides Senate Republicans, the biggest obstacle to impeachment and removal is Kamala Harris. “I realize the replacement for Joe Biden is probably giggling somewhere now,” quipped Norman, “so she’s not an alternative.”
Joe Biden was “a lot more involved”
“When President Biden was running for office,” McCarthy said, “he told the American public that he’s never talked about business [with his son Hunter]. He said his family has never received a dollar from China, which we now prove is not true.”
In fact, the White House is running interference on that claim with a shifting story. “I’ve been asked this question a million times,” snapped White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre this week. “The answer is not going to change. The answer remains the same. The president was never in business with his son. I just don’t have anything else to add.”
That answer absolutely did change from Biden’s oft-repeated original claim that he had “never discussed” said business dealings. Why? Because both the original claim and the new shift are both lies.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer made that plain: “We already have bank records. We have emails. We have text messages. We have phone records. We have testimony from other people. So, we know a lot about what Joe Biden’s involvement was.” He added, “There’s evidence, through and through, that shows Joe Biden knew these people, he spent time with these people, and he communicated with these people.” In fact, “Joe Biden was a lot more involved in Hunter’s shady business games than he has ever admitted.”
How involved? Well, according to Hunter’s ex-partner Devon Archer, Joe Biden — then vice president and Obama’s point man for all things Ukraine — was put on the phone at least two dozen times as Hunter conducted various negotiations. Joe also allegedly met in person with Hunter’s associates. Archer is scheduled to testify before the House Oversight Committee on July 31.
Another of Hunter’s former partners, Tony Bobulinski, corroborates that “Joe would take phone calls from Hunter in the middle of business meetings and would weigh in via speakerphone.”
Ultimately, Comer laid down what amounts to the bottom line: “All roads point to Joe Biden.”
Hunter’s plea
Hunter Biden is in Delaware this morning pleading guilty to two lousy misdemeanor tax charges that were part of that outrageous sweetheart deal he got last month. He evaded federal taxes for two years on more than $1.5 million in income, which is normally a felony. Oops, but no jail time. The felony possession of a firearm after lying on a federal background check, the crime with a maximum 10-year sentence? Don’t worry about it.
Meanwhile, even Hunter’s attorneys are in trouble, facing possible sanctions for lying to a judicial clerk’s office. “A lawyer from Hunter’s legal team is accused of misrepresenting who she was when asking to remove amicus materials from the docket,” according to Fox News. “She allegedly called to ask the clerk to seal the information instead of making a formal request to the court.”
That “misrepresenting” was posing as a member of the legal team for the other side.
Hunter’s team responded: “The matter under consideration appears to stem from an unfortunate and unintentional miscommunication between a staff member at our firm and employees of the court. We have no idea how the misunderstanding occurred, but our understanding is there was no misrepresentation.”
No, we have no idea how a member of our firm misrepresented herself as opposing counsel.
Hunter’s art
Not to worry; “reasonable safeguards” will be put in place to ensure that selling Hunter Biden’s overpriced artwork won’t compromise Joe Biden. So the White House assured us.
Well, a funny thing happened on the way to the art show. Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali, a big-time Democrat donor, bought some of Hunter’s art and was soon thereafter appointed to the prestigious Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad, and she’s visited the White House more than a dozen times in recent months.
Hunter has earned at least $1.3 million from his amateur art, and it seems as though it’s just another facet of the Biden family’s money-grubbing schemes.
Biden’s biting dog
Finally, just for kicks, Hunter isn’t the only one in need of a shorter leash.
The Associated Press reports that “Biden’s dog Commander bit or otherwise attacked Secret Service personnel at least 10 times between October 2022 and January, including one incident that required a hospital visit by the injured law enforcement officer.” Commander is a purebred German Shepherd, and he’s the second of Biden’s dogs to have a history of biting people.
Frankly, the Biden Crime Family is totally out of control. Biting dogs, cocaine in the White House, and an influence-peddling scheme that would make Hillary Clinton envious. It’s long past time for the 80-year-old Biden to be put out to pasture.
A new House bill would restore the original intent of the 14th Amendment to an often-abused illegal immigration tactic.

Republicans have for years been squeamish about the issue of so-called birthright citizenship. It’s about time they man up and begin making the case for righting this clear constitutional wrong.
The first step in this process may have taken place yesterday with the introduction of a House bill that would clarify the original intent of birthright citizenship as expressed in the language of the 14th Amendment: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”
At issue is the phrase “subject to the jurisdiction thereof,” which the open-borders Left has wrongly claimed to mean “within the physical borders of.”
As constitutional scholar Matt Spalding argued in a 2018 piece titled “The Case Against Birthright Citizenship”: “The crucial phrase is ‘subject to the jurisdiction thereof.’ As originally understood when Congress proposed the amendment in 1866, that referred not merely to the obligation of following U.S. laws but also, and more important, to full political allegiance. According to Lyman Trumbull — who was chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee and a co-author of the 14th Amendment — being ‘subject to the complete jurisdiction of the United States’ meant ‘not owing allegiance to anybody else.’”
The House bill, called the End Birthright Citizenship Fraud Act of 2023, was introduced yesterday ahead of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’s appearance today before the House Judiciary Committee. According to a press release from the bill’s author, Florida Republican Matt Gaetz, “If passed, the legislation would deny automatic citizenship at birth to children born within the United States whose parents are not U.S. nationals — excluding aliens lawfully admitted as refugees or permanent residents or performing active services in the U.S. Armed Forces.”
The Armed Forces carveout is a good one. Those willing to serve in our nation’s military are already demonstrating their allegiance to the United States. The bill is meant to combat the “anchor baby” tactic of many illegal immigrants, who make their way across our border for the express purpose of giving birth and thereby guaranteeing citizenship for the child despite neither parent being a citizen, and then exploiting the “chain migration” loophole to bring other family members into the U.S.
According to a report by the Center for Immigration Studies, nearly 400,000 so-called “anchor babies” are born in the U.S. each year. Carried out over years and lifetimes, that’s neither an insignificant expense nor an insignificant disruption to the American fabric.
“Birthright citizenship,” says Gaetz, “has been grossly and blatantly misapplied for decades, recently becoming a loophole for illegal aliens to fraudulently abuse our immigration system. My legislation recognizes that American citizenship is a privilege — not an automatic right to be co-opted by illegal aliens.”
Gaetz continues, “This is an important step in preserving the sanctity of American citizenship and ensures that citizenship is not treated as a loophole to be exploited but rather a privilege to be earned when legally migrating to our country.”
To this we say: It’s about time. Admittedly, though, it has little chance of being taken up by the Senate unless vulnerable Democrat senators such as West Virginia’s Joe Manchin and Montana’s Jon Tester lobby hard for a vote. Even then, it would have no chance of clearing the Senate’s 60-vote filibuster threshold, and it would have zero chance of being signed by Joe “Open Borders” Biden.
So why even bother? It’s a good question. And the answer is simple: Because this is a great opportunity for an educational moment, a Constitution-clarifying moment. And given the ongoing catastrophe on our southern border, it’s a great issue upon which GOP candidates can campaign in 2024. As we noted earlier, Republicans have been mostly afraid to champion this issue.
As The Daily Caller’s Diana Glebova writes, “Republican presidential candidates are at odds about whether to end birthright citizenship, but several of those polling at the top, including former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, have all said they oppose automatic citizenship for those who enter the country illegally.”
Good for them, and good to get them on the record.
Trump himself has called the Left’s legal case for birthright citizenship “a myth and a willful misinterpretation of the law by open borders advocates.” He added, “The United States is among the only countries in the world that says that even if neither parent is a citizen nor even lawfully in the country, their future children are automatic citizens the moment the parents trespass onto our soil.”
Now’s the time to start a serious discussion about real birthright citizenship versus the phony and costly kind being championed by race-baiting Democrats and their leftist ilk.
We’re either a constitutional republic, or we aren’t.
The Biden administration is cracking down on affordable water heaters in the name of climate change and “Bidenomics”.

The Biden administration is going to “save” the planet and “save” Americans money by forcing us all to … spend more money. Get it? Neither do we, but according to Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, that’s “Bidenomics” for you.
The growing list of household appliances the Biden administration has unilaterally decided is under its purview is getting more ridiculous. Indeed, the administration cannot deny it anymore. So the excuse now is, Well, it’s not happening immediately.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said as much. Team Biden has gone after “gas stoves, air conditioning units with regulation, refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, now water heaters,” a reporter said in an exchange with KJP. “How many more home appliances will Americans eventually have to replace, then, because of regulations?”
“So, just to be clear,” Jean-Pierre responded, “when it comes to water heaters — and it is — it is — it is proposed, what has been put forward, and if it is enacted, it would not take it into effect until 2029. So let’s not forget that.”
Why put off the regulation for another six years if climate change is such an imminent threat? If the world will end in X number of years, as we’ve been relentlessly told for decades, why wait?
The short answer is because it has nothing to do with the climate.
Likewise, the claim that “Bidenomics” is saving Americans money is just as vacuous.
While the DOE claims that the new regulations would produce $11 billion in annual savings for consumers, that claim quickly runs into a wall called “the real world.”
While these heat-pump systems may indeed be more energy efficient on their face, the real-life situations into which these units are placed have tremendous impact on their overall energy efficiency. Since these heat-pump water heaters take from the ambient warm air surrounding the unit, channeling it to heat the water, the temperature of the air around the unit will dictate its efficiency. Therefore, in hotter climates, this system works well, but in cooler climates, much of that energy efficiency is lost. And, of course, lost energy efficiency means lost savings.
Furthermore, there’s the problem of initial costs. These heat-pump water heaters cost an average of $2,800 more than a standard electric water heater on the market today. That’s no small potatoes for most Americans. On top of the price of the water heater are installation costs, which can run much higher than the installation of a standard water heater.
So, on balance, depending upon a variety of factors such as local climate, house size, and location within a house, the potential energy savings may end up being a complete wash due to the high upfront cost of these water heaters. But again, it’s not about saving money or saving the planet; it’s about empowering Washington’s bureaucratic state and giving excuses for unelected bureaucrats to impose ever more control over the American public.
Ben Lieberman, senior fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, observes, “It seems that almost everything that plugs in or fires up around the house is either subject to a pending regulation or soon will be.” Exactly.
It is also deeply ironic that the party most concerned about democracy being threatened is the party most engaged in building a federal government that increasingly circumvents the democratic process.
If such powers are constitutional at all — which is a big “if” — Congress should be the only branch of the federal government looking to pass laws such as the DOE’s proposed regulations. Hillary blames MAGA for climate: Evidently, those MAGA “deplorables” continue to live rent free in Hillary Clinton’s mind, as she attributes every “evil” within not only the U.S. but apparently the entire world to roughly half of the American population. Case in point is Hillary’s social media post blaming “MAGA Republicans” for causing climate change. Her post includes a link to the leftist climate alarmist outfit CAP Action, which falsely claims that this is the hottest summer on record because of climate change. So, was this Hillary responding to The New York Times, which published a column just over a week ago calling on leaders to “politicize the weather”? Or was this just Hillary feeding her usual narcissistic cravings? Maybe the answer is both, but either way it’s time for Hillary to stuff a sock in it.
The great solar panel scam? A recent report from Environmental Progress found that the carbon footprint of solar panels is three times bigger than previously thought and even “would not compare favorably with natural gas.” This surprising finding has everything to do with the manufacture of solar panels in China, where the vast majority of them are made. The report notes that due to China being rather opaque regarding environmental data surrounding its solar panel industry, the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and International Energy Agency (IEA) have been producing carbon emissions numbers based upon bad data. So the huge jump in solar power in the name of curbing carbon emissions hasn’t exactly had the desired or advertised effect.
UPS and Teamsters reach tentative agreement: A pending massive strike has been averted, as the UPS and Teamsters have agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement. With the August 1 deadline looming, 340,000 UPS workers walking off the job would have produced a significant negative economic impact for the country. According to UPS CEO Carol Tomé, “This agreement continues to reward UPS’s full- and part-time employees with industry-leading pay and benefits while retaining the flexibility we need to stay competitive, serve our customers and keep our business strong.” Both part-time and full-time UPS workers will receive a boost in pay, rising to an average top rate of $21 per hour and $49 per hour respectively. Expect package shipping prices to now rise as well.
Good news: Lowe’s rehires fired employee: Last month, Donna Hansbrough, a 68-year-old Lowe’s employee at a Georgia store, received a black eye during her attempt to stop shoplifters from stealing over $2,000 worth of merchandise. To make matters worse, she was fired over the incident for breaking company policy that forbids employees from interfering with shoplifters over safety concerns. While Hansbrough acknowledged that she did break company policy, she “didn’t expect to get terminated,” thinking instead “maybe a reprimand or a suspension.” But she explained: “I just got tired of seeing things get out the door. I just, I lost it. I basically lost all the training. Everything they tell you to do, I just … I just lost it.” After news of the story broke, Lowe’s senior management thought better of it and restored Hansbrough’s job, which she had held for the last 13 years.
Is the DOJ illegally funding red-flag laws in red states? Congressional Republicans are accusing the Biden administration of illegally using taxpayer dollars to promote anti-Second Amendment legislation in pro-gun states. Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) and Representative Alex Mooney (R-WV) recently sent a letter signed by 34 other Republican lawmakers to Attorney Merrick Garland, noting, “The Department of Justice appears to have weaponized the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act to illegally fund ineligible ‘red flag’ laws and bribe pro-gun states into passing gun confiscation laws.” The Republicans further observe, “It appears that this Bipartisan Safer Communities Act grant program is being used by the federal government to influence states into enacting ‘red flag’ gun confiscation laws.”
Bergdahl conviction tossed: On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton threw out disgraced Army Sgt. Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl’s court-martial conviction. The reason for Walton’s decision was over Judge Jeffery Nance’s failure to disclose that he had applied for a position as an immigration judge prior to the trial, which Walton viewed as a situation that created a potential conflict of interest. That said, this ruling does not change the facts of the case surrounding Bergdahl, who pleaded guilty in 2017 to desertion to avoid a prison sentence.

Hollywood isn’t known as a breeding ground for healthy marriages, so it comes as a surprise when Hollywood films have anything good to say about marriage, especially as sexual degeneracy in films keeps increasing exponentially and marriage and monogamy become more and more marginalized. This is why it may come as a shock to filmgoers to see the blockbuster “Oppenheimer” portraying and lauding the strengths of marriage, as well as warning against the threats to it, though in unnecessarily graphic detail.
A brief caveat spectator: “Oppenheimer” contains three R-rated sex scenes, which mar the otherwise masterful film. The graphic nature of these scenes is wholly unnecessary and even uncharacteristic of writer-director Christopher Nolan, who has famously not featured sex in any of his prior films. The film would be a magnum opus were it not for the inclusion of these scenes.
As many know or may guess from the title, “Oppenheimer” tells the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer and the Manhattan Project, which netted the creation of the atomic bomb. Oppenheimer and his wife were real figures and both deeply flawed, and the film depicts those flaws — namely, Oppenheimer’s infidelity and Kitty’s crippling alcoholism — but also depicts the strength and determination the two embody to overcome those flaws and forgive each other.
Before marrying Kitty, Oppenheimer carries on an affair with a student and avowed communist named Jean Tatlock. He later visits her once more while married and, after sleeping with her, ends their relationship. But that relationship comes back to haunt him doubly. His intimacy with a known communist affects his eligibility for a security clearance and threatens his legacy as an American genius by calling into question his loyalty to America at the outset of the Cold War.
But more importantly, his relationship with Tatlock serves as a wound in his wife’s heart. During a security clearance hearing, Oppenheimer is forced to recount aspects of his relationship with Tatlock. Kitty (portrayed superbly by Emily Blunt) sits behind her husband and, as he talks, is tormented by a vision of Tatlock straddling her husband and locking eyes with her. Kitty’s face is twisted into a mess of pain, fear, and rage.
But Kitty forgives her husband for his infidelity. When Oppenheimer learns of Tatlock’s death — said to be suicide but implied to perhaps be assassination — he disappears and is discovered by Kitty crying in the woods. He tells her what he did and about Tatlock’s death; Kitty voices a chief theme of the film, telling her husband that he doesn’t get to do something awful and then expect to be pitied for it. He takes her message to heart and learns to take responsibility for his actions, including the creation of the horrific atomic bomb.
Kitty has her own flaws, too. Drinking is perhaps chief among them. Kitty and Oppenheimer meet at a cocktail party, where the scientist helps the then-28-year-old to his secret stash of liquor. After their marriage, Oppenheimer realizes just how severe his wife’s alcohol issues are: he comes home one night to find her drunk at the kitchen table, sitting in the dark, while their newborn baby boy cries. He takes care of his son first, asking his friend Haakon Chevalier and his wife to take care of the boy until Kitty can curb her drinking. Historically, Kitty never quite kicked the alcohol habit, though the film indicates she managed, with her husband’s support, to keep it under control.
Oppenheimer also isn’t Kitty’s first husband but her fourth, and she leaves husband Richard Harrison to marry Oppenheimer. Despite her host of broken marriages, Kitty remains faithful to Oppenheimer and the two are married for nearly 30 years, until Oppenheimer’s death in 1967. Kitty died five years later. Despite their flaws and even the wounds they deal to each other, the film portrays a degree of intimacy between Oppenheimer and his wife which is rarely seen in Hollywood productions. When the Trinity bomb test goes well, the first thing Oppenheimer does is send a message to Kitty, who has been waiting fearfully for news of her husband’s success. Later on, Kitty berates Oppenheimer for shaking a scientist’s hand who testifies against the father of the nuclear bomb during a crucial security clearance hearing. Decades later, the same scientist approaches Oppenheimer at a White House awards ceremony; Kitty refuses to shake his hand.
One of the most poignant scenes in the film comes when Oppenheimer tells his lawyer Kitty will testify on his behalf during the security clearance hearing. When his lawyer asks if that’s really a good idea, Oppenheimer assures him it is, explaining, “Kitty and I have walked through fire together.” The following is one of the most enjoyable moments in the film’s three-hour runtime. Kitty sits down across from the security clearance board’s bulldog of a lawyer and calmly, coolly, and even wittily baffles him.
“Oppenheimer” tells a story of deeply-flawed human beings, so flawed that the protagonist invents one of the most catastrophically horrific weapons any man has used against another. The film does not depict a perfect, healthy, happy marriage — to do so would be to lie about an historical truth. Instead, “Oppenheimer” shows us a husband and wife who love each other enough to forgive one another’s flaws and strive to do better, a husband and wife who love each other enough to fight against even the U.S. government for the sake of each other, a husband and wife who learn to look forward together, instead of dwelling on their broken pasts, a husband and wife who “walked through fire together.”
“Oppenheimer” offers us a vision not of joy and marital bliss but of strength in the face of terrible adversity.
That’s not what Team Biden meant by opening up communications channels.

Chinese-American foreign relations are rocky. It is reported that President Xi Jinping and his officials despise working with Team Biden. But President Joe Biden isn’t taking “no” for an answer. He has sent diplomat after diplomat to China this summer in an attempt to open back up channels of communication.
How have the Chinese responded?
They have gone on the offensive. Just as Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) pointed out earlier this summer: “Biden administration officials should stop chasing after their Chinese communist counterparts like lovestruck teenagers. It’s embarrassing, and it’s pathetic. In fact, it projects weakness to China, it encourages them to do things like buzz our aircraft, or come within a few hundred yards of our ships, encourages them to send spy balloons floating all across America. Reducing those tariffs would send the same message.”
The Chinese have sent spy balloons and actual spies, and now cyberattacks have been made known to the public.
Starting in May, but undiscovered until mid June, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo’s emails were hacked by the Chinese. According to a Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency official: “The targeting was intentional. This was an attack that was limited in scope and was not an attempt to compromise a broad array of organizations or accounts, as we have seen in other types of campaigns.”
Raimondo is one of the few members of Team Biden who reportedly had a “good” relationship with her counterpart. However, the hacking didn’t stop with Raimondo.
The State Department also had two of its diplomats’ emails hacked. Those officials were Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns and Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia Daniel Kritenbrink. This was all done ahead of John Kerry’s fruitless visit to China to potentially convince the Chinese to become more “green” in their energy use. The emails that were hacked could have given the Chinese advanced warning of strategy to be employed for the talks.
Hacking emails isn’t the sort of “communication” President Biden and his team have been angling for. These are not the actions of a nation that is willing to play ball. These are the actions of a nation that is gearing up for conflict. China is gathering information on its enemy and attempting to undermine it at every turn. What else is the administration going to allow the Chinese to do?
He encourages men to be psychologically and physically stronger, but his core beliefs and real-life practices call his words into question.

Among the many norms of society that the Left has sought to destroy over the last several years, men’s inherent drive to be protectors, providers, and defenders has become a target for belittlement and minimization.
I’m old enough to remember when allowing boys to play with dinosaurs and cars wasn’t a sign of wanting to further some kind of oppressive patriarchy. A man in a dress generally caused a natural response within most people that something unnatural was happening within that individual.
Yet, in a single generation, a major switch has been flipped. The consistent and daily message is that men are the cause of all problems in society and that the patriarchy (both within each individual man and across society as a whole) needs to be dismantled.
Leftists have been relentless in attempting to accomplish this. It manifests in the feminization of men — replacing strong, masculine, honorable role models with men who prefer makeup over muscle and heels over hard work.
It’s no wonder that men’s mental health has plummeted and male suicide rates have surged. When men are no longer respected and expected to fulfill the roles that their biology, minds, and hearts have driven them to pursue in the past, they suffer from a deep lack of purpose and direction. Many of their natural counterparts (women) seem to have little to no use for them anymore.
So, what’s the solution?

A man by the name of Andrew Tate has been all too ready and willing to capitalize on a market of directionless men who are looking for the antidote to the pandemic of male feminization. He’s drawing them in with his brand of “masculine excellence.”
Tate, a former professional kickboxer and reality TV personality, has become a popular figure amongst young men over the last several years. His message resonates, particularly as the effort to reduce men’s physical, mental, and emotional strength has been kicked into high gear. He has attempted to set an example of what hard work can achieve while selling his advice and “wisdom” to like-minded men through podcasts and social media.
His Twitter feed sets the stage for positive advice and male empowerment. Reading much like a fortune cookie on steroids, he repeats lines like, “Do not fail your bloodline” and “life on expert mode.” His declarations are frequently accompanied by numerous pictures of himself — often shirtless and/or showing off his many expensive possessions. He tells men to accept that life is challenging, but to get to work and avoid the temptation to be lazy.
During a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, Tate criticized many leftist ideas. He rebuked the idea that raising taxes will affect the weather, and he challenged the racist tenets of CRT — that your skin color determines your abilities and your destiny.
He seems to be skilled at articulating conservative ideas, which adds to his appeal and fuels his popularity amongst men who are trying to act as defenders of moral communities.
However, Tate has a past that cannot be ignored, and even some of his current ideas should give men reason to pause when choosing him as their role model.
Tate is famous for running a “webcam business” and proudly boasting about how he coerced women into becoming employees of his — meaning subjects of online pornography. He has publicly shared tactics, which he calls the “loverboy method,” that involved pretending to want a meaningful connection with a woman, using her trust to take things to physical intimacy, and then springing the idea of nude camera work for money on the unsuspecting, now-vulnerable female.
It appears as though these activities have been left in his past, and Tate even recently converted to Islam.
The question remains: Does this make him a suitable mentor for men, particularly those who have a desire to promote both masculinity and morality?
Tate has come under fire from numerous right-wing influencers, including Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles, and Liz Wheeler, who warn young men that Tate’s messages contain more sin than sense.
Naturally, Tate argues that the only reason conservatives would attack him is because he’s “too rich to buy.” That idea alone seems to demonstrate a lack of humility and self-reflection that conservative, Christian men should aspire to have.
Tate is also not shy about his love of material possessions and pursuit of wealth. “A real man,” he says, “is ultra rich and provides his woman with the most expensive things money can buy.”
It’s almost impossible to take seriously his promotion of being a high-value man who looks for a high-value woman when his past record of abusing and belittling women is public knowledge. He has yet to acknowledge this as egregious and contrary to everything he promotes today.
What Tate offers lost men is the opposite end of the spectrum from the men in skirts praised by the Left as exhibiting expressions of true self. Unfortunately, it is masculinity at the cost of women and, in turn, at the cost of moral male leaders.
Tate believes himself to be a sign from the universe for positivity and strength.
Yet while he tries to paint his image as a male messiah of sorts, he has far more in common with a golden calf.

During his “My Take,” Wednesday, “Varney & Co.” host Stuart Varney discussed the drama surrounding Hunter Biden as he faces tax and gun charges, arguing U.S. government agencies made sure the president’s son got “special treatment” by interfering in any and all investigations.

Last night, before his court appearance this morning, top Republican Rep. Jason Smith sent a 400-page brief to the judge saying Hunter had benefited from political interference.
A President Biden donor and appointee who purchased Hunter Biden’s expensive artwork presents an apparent “conflict of interest” and “raises red flags,” ethics experts told Fox News Digital.
The identities of the individuals who have bought Hunter’s paintings have remained under wraps. However, Business Insider revealed Monday that one of the anonymous buyers was Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali, who President Biden appointed to the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad in July 2022.
Hirsh Naftali is a significant Democrat donor and has pushed large amounts behind Biden. She donated more than $200,000 to his 2020 candidacy and added just over $13,000 to his campaign and victory fund for the 2024 election. She has also frequently visited the White House. Her appointment came eight months after Hunter Biden’s first art opening, though it is unclear whether her purchase came before or after her appointment.
Kendra Arnold, the executive director of the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust, said the complete lack of transparency surrounding the deals and recent revelations are “deeply troubling” and gives the appearance of a conflict of interest.
Gregory K. Bovino, the chief patrol agent of the El Centro Border Patrol sector in California’s imperial valley, offered a transcribed interview with the House Oversight Committee and House Homeland Security Committee on July 12, 2023. According to Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) and Homeland Security Committee Chair Mark Green (R-Tenn.), within hours of finishing his testimony, Mr. Bovino was informed that he had been relieved of his command at the El Centro sector and “reassigned to a vague, indefinite, and temporary headquarters assignment.”
The timing of Mr. Bovino’s reassignment raised suspicions for Mr. Comer and Mr. Green that the CBP had reassigned the Border Patrol official in retaliation for his testimony.
In a letter to acting CBP Commissioner Troy Miller, the two lawmakers shared allegations from a whistleblower that Mr. Bovino’s new assignment is “one of no certain mission, no articulable purpose, and without any timeline of completion.”
“The whistleblower further alleges that this practice is consistent with the way in which CBP officials have dealt with employees who they wish to leave the agency, by placing maximum pressure on them to relocate, retire, or resign,” the Republican lawmakers added.
Citing further whistleblower allegations, Mr. Comer and Mr. Green raised allegations “that Chief Bovino may have produced written testimony in preparation for this hearing that was dissatisfactory to CBP officials: so much so that he was verbally reprimanded by headquarters officials.”
The Republican lawmakers called on the acting CBP commissioner to provide answers about the reassignment. The lawmakers specifically asked for all CBP documents and communications relating to Mr. Bovino’s employment. They also asked for records of any discussions between CBP and Department of Homeland Security or White House officials pertaining to Mr. Bovino’s past congressional testimony or appearances as a witness for transcribed interviews.
The former environmental lawyer, author, and activist continues to creep up in the polls for the Democratic nomination for president, with a recent Harris Poll giving him 16 percent support against incumbent Joe Biden, who enjoys the full backing of the Democratic establishment.
Judge Maryellen Noreika has rejected the sweetheart plea deal for Hunter Biden. The plea deal had covered Biden’s tax issues from 2014 to 2019, drug use and a gun charge that were to be pled as two misdemeanors for the tax charges and a diversion on the gun charge.
Biden entered a plea of not guilty after the deal was rejected.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issued policies that make it easier to apply for benefits, including work permits, extended and expanded programs like Temporary Protected Status, eliminated the ability of officers to issue Notices to Appear (NTAs), and reduced screening and vetting in order to process more petitions and applications.
Now that the borders are open the Biden administration is releasing THOUSANDS of illegal alien children with tuberculosis across the US.

The only reason this could happen is if Democrats and Uniparty Republicans are purposely trying to destroy this country. At this point, there is no other explanation.
On Tuesday night Democrat presidential candidate joined Sean Hannity on FOX News for a town hall event.
During the hour-long show, Kennedy continued to gain the approval of the FOX News audience that repeatedly broke out in applause to his positions and ideas for America’s future.
At one point Sean Hannity began grilling Robert Kennedy on the US support for the War in Ukraine. And, once again, the crowd was on his side.
Kennedy pointed out that it was the US and Biden administration that thwarted several attempts for a a peace agreement with Russia. Hannity disagreed. But it was Kennedy who won this debate with the audience.
Sean Hannity: One area I don’t like the fact that America is bearing the brunt and the burden of financing most of the war against Putin and Ukraine. I think we agree on that part. Why isn’t Europe, why don’t they ever step up and defend their own continent before they ask for U.S. involvement? And why would Joe Biden veto Poland, giving Zelensky fighter jets, to actually fight to win the war after they were invaded?
Robert Kennedy Jr.: Well, the more disturbing thing is that on two occasions, the Russians tried to sign a peace agreement with Zelensky.
Hannity fired back: Do you trust Putin?
RFK Jr.: Do I trust Putin? No. But that’s not listen, I’ve litigated over 500 lawsuits. All of them end up with or, many of them end up with settlements or one kind of the other, and he never trusts the guy on the other side. You use language, art, you use the design of agreements.
Hannity interrupting: So Ukraine, to appease Putin, rather, who I think who is evil. They’ve already given up Crimea. It was annexed. Now they have to give up the Donbas area.
RFK Jr.: Ukraine, because of our pushing the Ukraine into the war on two occasions. Let me answer your question. In 2019, France, Germany and Russia all agreed to the Minsk Accords. That year, Zelensky ran for president. He was a comedian. He had no political experience. Why did he win? Because he ran on one issue, signing the Minsk Accords. As soon as he got in there, Victoria Newland and the White House told him he couldn’t do it. Then Putin sends 40,000 troops in. That’s not enough to conquer the country. Clearly, he wanted us to come to a negotiation. He wanted somebody to come to a negotiating table. Zelensky came to the negotiating table, signed a new agreement that was the Minsk Accords II in 2022, and that would have allowed Donbas to stay and Luhansk to stay, to remain as part of Ukraine. We said Putin signed it, Zelensky initialed it, and Putin, in good faith, began withdrawing troops from the Ukraine. What happened? We sent Boris Johnson over there to torpedo it because we don’t want peace with we want war with Russia.
Robert Kennedy Jr. then delivered a history lesson on Ukraine, Europe and Russia. He clearly understands the issue.

Pope Francis has told a young transgender person that “God loves us as we are,” continuing his unbridled attempts to normalize th LGBTQ agenda within the Roman Catholic Church.
His comments, released by Vatican media on Tuesday, were in a podcast in which Francis listened and responded to audio messages from young people ahead of a Catholic youth festival which he will attend in Portugal next week.
One of the young people was Giona, an Italian in their early 20s who said they were “torn by the dichotomy between (their Catholic) faith and transgender identity.”
Francis replied that “the Lord always walks with us. … Even if we are sinners, he draws near to help us. The Lord loves us as we are. This is God’s crazy love.”
The decrepit and corrupt pontiff should have said that while it’s true that God loves us, he also does not want us to remain in our sins, including the sin of transgenderism. This ‘identity’ must be cast aside and mortified rather than be indulged in and explored.
