There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live. (Ezekiel 47:9)
The living waters, in the prophet’s vision, flowed into the Dead Sea and carried life with them, even into that stagnant lake. Where grace goes, spiritual life is the immediate and the everlasting consequence. Grace proceeds sovereignly according to the will of God, even as a river in all its windings follows its own sweet will; and wherever it comes it does not wait for life to come to it, but it creates life by its own quickening flow. Oh, that it would pour along our streets and flood our slums! Oh, that it would now come into my house and rise till every chamber were made to swim with it! Lord, let the living water flow to my family and my friends, and let it not pass me by. I hope I have drunk of it already; but I desire to bathe in it, yea, to swim in it. O my Savior, I need life more abundantly. Come to me, I pray Thee, till every part of my nature is vividly energetic and intensely active. Living God, I pray Thee, fill me with Thine own life.
I am a poor, dry stick; come and make me so to live that, like Aaron’s rod, I may bud and blossom and bring forth fruit unto Thy glory. Quicken me, for the sake of my Lord Jesus. Amen.
“’But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.’” Luke 15:20
The story of the father with two sons captures the gospel story for two sorts of people. The first are like the younger son who decided against his better judgment to demand his inheritance early, move to a distant land, and squander it on loose living with women and wine. When he came to his senses, he realized that his father’s servants living under his care and provision had it better than he did. So he went home.
The parallel is to all of us who have thumbed our nose at God, demanded life on our terms, and trudged off to enjoy worldly pleasures only to find they satisfy for a season.
The second are like the older son who remained faithful to father and home, working the fields and earning an honest wage. Yet when his little brother returned, his heart burned with anger against sibling and father, for in his eyes the first wasn’t worth celebrating and the latter was foolish for doing so. “You’ve never thrown a party for me,” he hurled. Dad’s response? ““My son … you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ (Luke 15:31)
Which son are you like?
Is God waiting for you to come down the lane, eager to throw his arms around you?
Or is God reminding you of the riches you already have in Him—His purpose, peace, and plans?
Dear God, it is so easy to think that life without you is free, fun, and easy. Help me see that in You I find significance. And once there, may I glory in Your riches, for they are new each day. Amen.
Repent of any narrow thinking that life on your terms is better than resting in the treasures of God.
Listen with your spirit to the Word of God in Ecclesiastes 3:1.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.”
Beloved, your Father has appointed time as the stage for his eternal purposes in your life. I bless you with knowing that he has appointed and oversees your point in history, the times and seasons, the events and the experiences, the character and significance of all things that pertain to you. I bless you with knowing his direction of your life, when he doesn’t let you see the end from the beginning, so that you will seek him, his heart, and his wisdom at all times. Time serves his overarching plan, even when life seems senseless and without aim or explanation. I bless you with knowing that everything unfolds under the eye of his providence, even when the pieces don’t seem to fit, and his ways are a mystery to you. I bless you with knowing the certainty of how you fit into his time and space, history and the future. As it was said of Queen Esther, “Who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
I bless you with knowing that your Father’s appointed and anointed time for everything is beautiful from his perspective of eternity. I bless you with trusting his bigger picture, when you can only see some of the particulars. I bless you with being right in step and on time, not running ahead or lagging behind. I bless you with sensitivity to the seasons of the Spirit, the movement of the Spirit, and the moment of the Spirit.
I bless your spirit with an anointing for time and timeliness. I bless you with knowing your Father’s birthing seasons and with letting die those works that are not his. I bless you with knowing his timing to plant a new vision or dream and to pluck up something that is past its season. I bless you with not erecting idols or monuments to works that he is not presently blessing.
I bless you with your Father’s time to laugh about what makes him laugh and to weep about those things that break his heart. I bless you with your Father’s time to dance with abandon with the Lover of your soul. I bless you with your Father’s time to scatter seed and time to rejoice gathering in the harvest. I bless you with your Father’s time to embrace those people, values, and purposes that he blesses and to refrain from affirming anything that is not his vision for you. I bless you with his time to search for the hidden treasures of love and wisdom, for hope and faith, and to give up as worthless all self-effort and striving. I bless you with his time to keep that which is silver, gold, and precious stones and to throw away all that is wood, hay, and stubble.
I bless you to mend some relationships and to tear away from soul ties which your Father did not author. I bless you to know his time to be silent, and when it’s time to speak, I bless you with knowing the time of his dealing in another person’s life and whether you are to be involved and how. I bless you with your Father’s time to love what he loves and to hate what he hates with righteous passion. I bless you with his holy time for war with the real enemy and his time for peace because of the grace of the cross.
Beloved, your times are safely in his hands. I bless you with enjoying your Father’s good gift of time. I bless you with savoring all the richness of the present moment. I bless you and entrust you to God and the word of his grace, the message of his heart that builds you up and gives you an inheritance with all those he has set apart for himself. I bless you in Jesus’ name.

When All Crimes Are Those Against The State Recently, the State of Michigan passed law HB4474, against “hate crime” – any perceived slight against another person, verbal or otherwise. The law recognizes such disparate slurs as those critical of gender identity, religion, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age, or even affiliation with a group. Incredibly, the law extends as far as the outlawing of unacceptable pronouns. The punishment is imprisonment of up to two years, a fine of $5,000, or both. Clearly, this is a victimless crime, since no physical damage has taken place. And, to exacerbate the lack of logic, the fine is to be paid to the state, not the “injured party.”

Latvian army to protect border with Belarus amid surge in illegal migrant numbers Latvia’s State Border Guard (RS) is mobilizing additional forces from Tuesday to protect the country’s border, in particular with Belarus, the BNS news agency reported, citing the RS. The decision was made due to a rapidly growing threat on the joint border, where 96 illegal crossings were attempted yesterday, and also because of what Riga said was the Belarusian authorities’ increasing involvement in organizing the influx of illegal migrants, the report said.

And probably a lot more than that. That’s just the money they found. Not one of Joe Biden’s defenders has even attempted to explain what Joe and his family did, including his children and his grandchildren. What were they doing getting all of this money?” Trump charged in the video. “China has paid him a fortune”.

Warring Palestinians are killing each other in refugee camps In the Palestinian “refugee” camps of Lebanon, the inhabitants are ill-treated by the Lebanese government. They are kept confined to the camps, unable to obtain Lebanese citizenship, and banned from working at most professions. Israel’s Voice of Caution: Navigating the New U.S.-Iran Deal In a world rife with complexities, Israel has always been a beacon of clarity, offering its unique perspective on global matters. Over the weekend, the ever-vocal Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, shed light on his concerns regarding the latest U.S.-Iran deal. The agreement, centered around the release of five U.S. prisoners in exchange for Washington releasing a sizable sum of Iranian assets, drew sharp attention from the international community. Netanyahu’s apprehensions were clear: “While the world sees an exchange, Israel identifies a deeper challenge. Any agreement that doesn’t comprehensively address Iran’s nuclear capacities only fuels its ambitions, inadvertently funding terrorist activities backed by Iran.”

Death Toll from Maui Fire Could Double or Even Triple: Governor As search teams continue to pick through the ashes of Lahaina in search of more victims of last week’s deadly Maui fire, officials have warned that the death toll—now at nearly 100—could double or even triple as crews find more bodies in the coming days and weeks.
What Fuelled the Hawaiian Wildfires That Killed Dozens and Destroyed Historic Lahaina Town, Maui? Much of the historic town of Lahaina, the previous home to around 12,000 people in western Maui, has been destroyed by wildfires that erupted last Tuesday night. This tragedy has been said to be the largest “natural disaster” in Hawaii’s history, but, not everyone is convinced that this was a “natural disaster” at all, instead believing that it was fuelled by a Direct Energy Weapon (DEW).

Fellow Patriots, on this day in 1977, Elvis Presley, “King of Rock and Roll,” died at Graceland in Memphis. In today’s news, culture is still king — whether it’s “The Blind Side,” Snow White, or the cult of climate change. —Mark Alexander
The devastating wildfire that destroyed Lahaina, Hawaii, has more to do with government mismanagement than any change in climate.
Thomas Gallatin
At this point, it’s as predictable as thunder after lightning. In the wake of the nation’s most deadly wildfire in over a century, the inevitable blame game has ensued. And the leading culprit, according to the Leftmedia and Democrat politicians, is their favorite ideological bogeyman: climate change.
By the AP’s second paragraph, the article touts “experts” blaming climate change for causing “flash droughts” and “other extreme weather events.” Seeking to expand the climate change hysteria, postdoctoral researcher Kelsey Copes-Gerbitz from the University of British Columbia is quoted: “What these … catastrophic wildfire disasters are revealing is that nowhere is immune to the issue.”
The Times takes a similar approach, identifying the “cause” by the second paragraph: “The explanation is as straightforward as it is sobering: As the planet heats up, no place is protected from disasters.”
The Washington Post got in on the act as well, republishing an article from Bloomberg titled, “Maui Fires Show Climate Change’s Ugly Reach.” While admitting that at the time of the article’s writing the Post didn’t “know exactly what sparked Maui’s fires,” that didn’t stop the Leftmedia outlet from still preaching the dogma of climate change alarmism, including a tellingly similar talking point to those of the AP and Times. “The long arm of global heating will find you, no matter where you are,” the Post ominously warns. It then concludes with this typical alarmist diatribe:
Most important, we must do everything we can to break our fossil-fuel addiction and stop pumping out the carbon that makes these disasters both more likely and more destructive. There’s no hiding from this truth or its consequences.
The trouble is that it’s not the truth.
Hawaii, like California, is suffering under leftist political environmentalism. And like California’s annual summer wildfires, which the Left continuously blames on climate change, the real culprit in Hawaii is indeed man-made, but it has nothing to do with carbon emissions and fossil fuels.
Poor natural resource management and an aging power infrastructure — mostly due to leftist politicians majoring in the minors and bowing to the fringe demands of environmental lobbyists — are responsible for the lion’s share of these natural disasters.
“Blaming this on weather and climate is misleading,” contends Clay Trauernicht, University of Hawaii at Manoa assistant specialist in Wildland Fire Science and Management. “Hawaii’s fire problem is due to the vast areas of unmanaged, nonnative grasslands from decades of declining agriculture.”
Trauernicht observes that with the decline of farming and ranching, which cleared roughly a million acres of land across the Hawaiian islands, unused land has become dominated by tropical untended grasslands. “Maui is now firmly in the post-plantation era,” he notes, “and the West Maui fires are only the most recent example of what eventually happens when large, tropical grasslands go untended.”
So, ironically, human neglect in letting nature run wild is the actual problem. Instead of the pricey fight against the climate change bogeyman, Trauernicht contends that there are a few rather inexpensive and concrete actions that can mitigate the problem of massive wildfires in Hawaii. “Livestock are incredible tools to keep fire risk down,” he explains. “We can plant other things — active agricultural lands don’t burn (or they burn when we want them to) and restoring forest cover and riparian vegetation can limit the potential for fires to spread.”
The reality is and always has been that the climate on planet earth is in flux and changing. What mankind has done in the past, and indeed what we should be focusing on today, is not to try to stop global climate change, as that is akin to spitting into the ocean. Rather, humans can and should adapt. We can manage immediate natural conditions around us, such as practicing better forest or grassland management.
We need to be looking for particular solutions that aren’t dependent upon making the impossible happen, like ending all use of fossil fuel or transitioning to a power grid entirely sourced by renewable energy.
It’s time to stop blaming climate change and start looking and working toward practical solutions that don’t needlessly burden people with ridiculous regulations that just make life more expensive and more difficult. The more than 100 lost Hawaiian lives are a testament to that.
A remarkable story about race and family and love has taken an ugly turn toward money.
Douglas Andrews
Within the dust jacket of Michael Lewis’s bestselling book The Blind Side, we learn that the subject of the story, future NFLer Michael Oher, “is one of 13 children by a mother addicted to crack,” and that he doesn’t even know “his real name, his father, his birthday, or any of the things a child might learn in school — like, say, how to read or write.”
Talk about being dealt a bad hand.
What happens next is well known and became the subject of a blockbuster movie and an Academy Award for Sandra Bullock. “Big Mike” is taken off the mean streets of Memphis by a wealthy, evangelical family — a Republican family — and afforded an opportunity that a poor, homeless black kid with virtually no experience playing organized football couldn’t possibly have imagined: to go to an elite high school, to play major-college football, and to make millions as an offensive tackle in the NFL.
Oher’s good and great fortune was anything but foreordained, though. As Lewis writes: “Big Mike was heading at warp speed toward a bad end.” He’d just finished the ninth grade, but those who knew him also knew that he was unlikely to return for tenth grade. Would anyone be shocked to learn that his dad, Michael Jerome Williams, was frequently in prison? Or that Michael Oher, a kid who so desperately needed a good father’s influence and the love of a stable family, had nothing of the sort?
Today, though, Oher, who’s now 37, is turning on the family that changed his life in such profound ways. According to NBC News, he’s alleging that the couple who took him into their home “misled him into believing they were adopting him — and that they instead placed him in a conservatorship, according to a court filing Monday.”
According to the petition filed by his legal team to terminate the conservatorship in Shelby County Court in Tennessee, “The lie of Michael’s adoption is one upon which Co-Conservators Leigh Anne Tuohy and Sean Tuohy have enriched themselves at the expense of their Ward, the undersigned Michael Oher.”
As NBC News continues, “The Tuohys negotiated a deal with 20th Century Fox that left Oher without any payment for the rights to his name, likeness and life story, while the Tuohy family received a contract price of $225,000 and 2.5% of the film’s net proceeds, the petition states.”
According to the petition, “The Blind Side” has since grossed more than $300 million, but Oher made no money off the film. Nor, the petition claims, does Oher recall signing the agreement for the rights to his life story, even though his signature appears on it.
Of course, there are at least two sides to every story, and the Tuohys are now telling theirs. As Fox News reports, “An attorney who represents Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy said in a bombshell statement on Tuesday that former NFL player Michael Oher threatened to ‘plant’ a negative story in the press about the Tennessee family unless they paid him $15 million.”
According to the family’s attorney: “Anyone with a modicum of common sense can see that the outlandish claims made by Michael Oher about the Tuohy family are hurtful and absurd. The idea that the Tuohys have ever sought to profit off Mr. Oher is not only offensive, it is transparently ridiculous.”
As columnist Jason Whitlock, who himself is black, writes at The Blaze: “What Michael Oher is doing to the Tuohy family is despicable. He’s telling an obvious lie that he knows most of the media will be too afraid to question because of the racial dynamics. … Oher lacks self-awareness, humility, and, quite possibly, intelligence. Making $34 million as an average professional athlete will certainly create some delusion.”
In retrospect, we’d say things have turned out pretty well for Michael Oher. He was a college All-American at Ole Miss, and he made many millions during his eight-year career with the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens, Tennessee Titans, and Carolina Panthers. Don’t get us wrong: We don’t pretend to know the whole story of Oher’s relationship with the family that took him off the streets, and we believe that he is indeed a victim here — but not of the Tuohy family. He’s a victim of childhood abandonment and the everyday pandemic of a 70% fatherlessness rate within the black community. That’s the real source of Oher’s victimhood.
Our Mark Alexander, who has spent countless hours pondering, pointing out, and pushing back against the plague of fatherlessness and its destructive consequences, especially in the black community, sees similarities between Michael Oher’s situation and what he calls “the Kaepernick Syndrome,” which refers to the understandable anger of abandonment that a fatherless black man carries with him from childhood, and the misdirection of that anger toward targets of opportunity — in this case, the Tuohy family.
Of course, as we noted earlier, there’s a lot of money at stake here, and perhaps, just maybe, just possibly, Oher’s legal team has a monetary motive beyond the mere emotional well-being of their already wealthy client.
We wonder: What does Michael Lewis think of all this? And might he next train his considerable literary talents on the issue of black fatherlessness?
She’s not only foolish and woke, but she’s trying to tear down an iconic film. It won’t work.

Disney’s new live-action remake of “Snow White” promises to be a rewrite of everything “problematic” and “dated” in the original animated film. Just listen to the star, Rachel Zegler, bash the original 1937 icon, one that is still considered one of the greatest film achievements of all time.
She first slammed the 1937 film at the 2022 D23 Expo Variety, where Zegler and costar Gal Gadot (who is playing the Wicked Queen) were interviewed about the upcoming project. Zegler had this to say: “I just mean that it’s no longer 1937. … She’s not going to be saved by the prince and she’s not going to be dreaming about true love. She’s dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be and the leader that her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave and true.”
This was bad enough; it confirmed that indeed we have another Disney intellectual property that is being retrofitted to moralize at adults and to indoctrinate kids in a pernicious feminist trope (i.e., the princess saves herself; she doesn’t want or remotely need a prince). It’s a trope that is so overdone at this point that most are sick of it. What’s wrong with dreaming about true love? Nothing. But Zegler has to pretend that it’s the worst thing ever to justify the remake.
Her latest bashing of the original film was even more pointed. First she said: “I mean, you know, the original cartoon came out in 1937, and very evidently so. There’s a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird! Weird. So we didn’t do that this time.”
Then she goes on to talk about how there was an actor cast in the role of the prince, but intimated that she hoped his scenes would get cut. That’s how much she despises the love story.
Disney’s original movie of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” was iconic and groundbreaking. It received a standing ovation and is considered one of the greatest films of all time. One could rightly interpret Zegler’s constant smearing of the film as insecurity, knowing that the remake isn’t going to be up to snuff.
Another thing Zegler kept bringing up in both negative comments is that the original film was made in the 1930s. She claimed it didn’t age well and that the prince was a stalker. What it actually exposes in Zegler is an ignorance of context and the lost art of the appreciation of beauty. In the context of the original film, the titular character literally sings about dreaming of her love and her hoping to find him that day. Like a miracle, Prince Charming appears (because, you know, it’s a fairytale). Though she is initially frightened, she realizes that her wish has come true and sends her love back to the serenading prince via a dove kiss.
He fell in love with her beautiful voice, then her lovely self. Stalker, no; pure and lovely romance in the context of a fairytale, yes.
The original film as well as the original Grimm fairytale talk about the theme of beauty. Snow White’s beauty drove the Wicked Queen to murder. What is made even more thematically clear in the 1937 film was the beauty that was within Snow White as well. She was gentle, kind, and lovely. She charmed seven dwarves into letting her keep their house. The loss of her beauty of spirit and face was so lamented when the queen succeeded in killing her that the dwarves couldn’t bury her in the ground. They made her a coffin of glass and never left her side.
The prince, when he found her, never thought his kiss would revive her. He was just as devastated at the loss as all her friends.
One argument that could seemingly be in favor of the “stalker” claim is that Disney says the animated princess was supposed to be 14 years old. Fourteen is very young to be getting married. However, when you consider the context of the Grimm fairytale and the practice of young brides historically, this isn’t as big a deal. This is where we go back to the whole “this is a fairytale, not real life” argument.
You didn’t hear Zegler complaining about the love story in her breakthrough role in the film adaptation of “West Side Story.” Tony, the leading man, might also be considered a stalker if judged by her same measuring stick regarding Prince Charming. The original play “West Side Story” is adapted from Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” and was written in the 1590s. Tony fell in love with Maria (Zegler’s character) at first sight as well. Clearly, it’s not the love story or the age of the play/movie material that she has a problem with. The question is: Does she even understand how contradictory she is, or is she just spouting nonsense she’s been told?
Frankly, it’s a pretty perverted and cynical person who can see the “Snow White” film and interpret that (mutual) love at first sight as a stalker/victim story. Also, why do they insist that fairytales act like real life? Do kids need a complex love story built out where the prince isn’t struck by love at first sight but both prince and princess work out their feelings over a long drawn-out period of time and then eventually discover they love one another? Or are they kids, willing to accept that true love at first sight is part of the fairytale, ergo get on with the rest of the story? Children’s stories are supposed to be simple and clear to teach lessons. Snow White in both the Grimm fairytale and the 1937 animated film has many lessons — that kindness, purity of heart, and true love win the day, and that you shouldn’t open the door to strangers (especially if they are giving away apples).
This woke remake is most likely going to be another flop in the Disney catalog. It is so intent on bastardizing its own intellectual property to fit its leftist woke sensibilities that it is actively losing fans. Disney would do better to come up with new stories instead of destroying the old, except that it can’t help itself in new content creation either, as “Elemental” and a few other flops have already proved.
What Disney is selling, parents aren’t buying. The new “Snow White” actress reinforcing the fears that this is woke feminist nonsense isn’t going to help either.
Higher prices and lower wages are the sum total of Joe Biden’s economic policies.
Nate Jackson
“I wish I hadn’t called it that,” Joe Biden said last week about the Inflation Reduction Act. This week, he just wished he could pronounce it. During a Bidenomics speech on the IRA’s anniversary in Milwaukee Tuesday, he said, “When I signed the bipartivifiloxtureagain…”
If the goal is helping families or the economy, his pronunciation did the job just as well as the law.
Upon reading the transcript, Biden was actually trying to talk about the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which, like the IRA, did nothing but exacerbate inflation.
That was a few moments after he pulled out some tissue to wipe his nose before starting to yell again.
Maybe Biden got ahold of the same batch of “hallucinogenic” mushrooms Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen admitted to consuming while in China.
If there’s anything that could reassure us about the leaders at the helm, that’d do the trick.
Okay, now let’s get serious. The president’s speech was all about the supposed success of the Inflation Reduction Act and other measures to overhaul the economy. In an effort to bolster his image, Biden touted his usual lies about jobs, inflation, wages, you name it. So we’ll do the job the Leftmedia “fact-checkers” are too busy harassing conservatives to do.
“We’ve added more jobs in two years than any president has in American history in a four-year term,” Biden asserted again. “More in two than any has done in four.” Allowing people to go back to work after a pandemic shutdown is not the same as adding a job.
“A higher percentage of American workers are working today than ever before,” the president said. As of July 2023, the 62.6% labor force participation rate remained below the pre-COVID average of about 63%. The rate reached an all-time high of 67.3% in January 2000, not long after real welfare reform got people back to work.
“In case you haven’t noticed, inflation is down, too, and it’s going lower,” he added. The inflation rate has fallen since last summer, but it’s still about 50% higher than the Federal Reserve’s target of 2%. Oh, and there’s the pesky fact that Biden ignited inflation with the American Rescue Plan in early 2021. Inflation reached a four-decade high of 9.1% before receding to 3.0% and then rising to 3.2% last month. Everyone in America is paying about 17% more for the measured basket of goods since Biden took office, and on most of the things that really matter for a family’s budget, it’s actually far higher than that.
Moody’s Analytics just released a report indicating that Americans are spending $709 more per month than they were two years ago. But sure, Joe, “inflation is down.”
“Wages are growing faster than inflation,” Biden said. That’s also false — real wages are down over the last two years when accounting for inflation.
Massive inflation and wages that aren’t keeping up. That, ladies and gentlemen, is Bidenomics. But Biden has tried his darnedest to commandeer that term to illustrate his success. “The Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal started calling my plan — not initially as a compliment — ‘Bidenomics,’” he told the Milwaukee crowd. “But guess what, folks? They’re talking about it differently now. It’s working. It’s working — I’m serious.”
Biden and his lackeys in the press may be talking about it differently now, but the ugly truth is that Bidenomics has made life a lot less affordable for millions of people. Take, for example, this year’s record 11% increase in homelessness thanks to horribly inflated home prices.
The ugliest truth is that Bidenomics is working — exactly as intended.
College has become a government-subsidized rip-off. It’s good that fewer people go.
John Stossel
It’s August. Many young people head off to college.
This year, fortunately, fewer will go.
I say “fortunately” because college is now an overpriced scam.
Overpriced, because normal incentives to be frugal and make smart judgements about who should go to college were thrown out when the federal government took over granting student loans.
Why?
Because our government basically vomits money at everyone who applies.
If private lenders gave out the loans, they’d look at whether they were likely to be paid back. They’d ask questions like: “What will you study? You really think majoring in dance will lead to a job that will pay you enough to allow you to pay us back?”
Government rarely asks these questions. Bureaucrats throw money at students. Many don’t benefit. Many shouldn’t even be going to college. Today, nearly half of the students given loans don’t graduate even after six years.
Many feel like failures.
College is good for people who want to be college professors or who major in fields like engineering and computer science that might lead to good jobs. But that’s not most people. Government loans encourage everyone to go to college, even if they’re not very interested in academics.
Government’s handouts also invite colleges to keep raising tuition. Over the past 50 years, college cost rose at four times the rate of inflation. Four times!
Years ago, I reported how colleges were suddenly wasting money on luxuries like fancy gyms and even day spas. Last week, The Wall Street Journal reported that it’s gotten worse: The University of Oklahoma bought a monastery in Italy for study abroad students! The University of Kentucky built a theater where students play video games.
“Why not raise tuition?” asks the typical college president. “Uncle Sam pays the bill!”
When I went to Princeton, tuition was $2,000. Now its $60,000.
Colleges have little incentive to cut costs or innovate. Princeton still “teaches” by having professors lecture. Super boring. I slept through many.
Although today, I guess I should thank Princeton because its tedious lectures inspired me to try to find better ways to present information. That made me successful on TV.
Today, student loan borrowers owe tens of thousands of dollars. Last year, the president announced he would cancel up to $20,000 of that debt per person.
Indebted students loved that! A group named the Student Debt Crisis Center called that “a major win for many.”
But it would be a major loss for many more! Canceling debt is unfair to the people who work hard and pay off their debts.
Fortunately, Biden’s plan was struck down by the Supreme Court, which said only Congress has the right to cancel student debt. Congress didn’t.
Now Biden’s trying again. The administration announced they will forgive debt for anyone who’s been making payments for more than 20 years. That’s better, but still bad. Maybe courts will stop this handout, too.
College students take on loans and spend decades in debt because they believe they must get a degree to be hired. But that’s no longer true. IBM, Accenture, Dell, Bank of America, Google and other big companies, recognizing the uselessness of many undergraduate degrees, recently dropped college-degree requirements. So have state governments in Maryland, Utah, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Alaska, North Carolina, New Jersey and Virginia.
Good jobs in the trades, like welding and plumbing, don’t require a college degree. Trade school programs often take less than two years and cost much less than college.
To have a good life or get a good job, you don’t need fancy dining halls, video game auditoriums or a college degree.
College has become a government-subsidized rip-off. It’s good that fewer people go.
Biden coaches colleges, YouTube’s new censorship, Arkansas cancels CRT history, and more.

Cross-Examination
Biden coaches colleges:The Supreme Court be damned — that’s clearly the attitude of the Biden administration as it seeks to undermine the recent ruling ending discriminatory affirmative action in college admissions. Joe Biden’s Education and Justice Departments have issued new guidelines to colleges and universities on how they can effectively and “legally” continue the practice of race-based admissions. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona justified the administration’s underhanded effort by asserting without evidence that ending affirmative action will result in bad things: “Fewer students of color applied, and fewer students of color were admitted. We cannot afford that kind of backpedaling on a national scale.” The Biden administration’s workaround is to encourage schools that can no longer consider any racial demographic data when considering an applicant for admission to consider how race may have impacted an applicant’s life. In other words, coach prospective students to highlight their own racial identities when applying. It’s Harvard’s new tack.
More Hunter Biden corruption: It is clear that the Hunter Biden scandal is much more than an embarrassing mess of an individual, making it that much harder for the Washington deep state to paint it with the veneer of just a personal family issue that “loving father” Joe is attempting to navigate. No, covering up the Biden family corruption only breeds more corruption. And as more and more whistleblowers come forward from the federal agencies involved in covering for the Bidens, the scandal is only growing. In response to the Justice Department’s actions to keep the cover-up going with Attorney General Merrick Garland naming David Weiss as special counsel to “investigate” Huntergate, the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability released a transcript from its investigation. The transcript is from an interview with a former FBI agent who testified that back in December 2020 he notified the Secret Service of his plan to interview Hunter over tax crime allegations. That interview never happened, however, as the Biden team had apparently been tipped off. This FBI agent’s account corroborates the testimony of IRS whistleblower Gary Shapely.
Obama’s brother endorses Trump … again: Back in 2016, Barack Obama’s half (and full black) brother Malik Obama famously endorsed Donald Trump for president. Well, Malik is back at it again, releasing a video endorsing Trump for president on X. Wearing a red hat emblazoned with the message “F BIDEN,” Malik explains: “I wore the hat because … you know, Sloppy Joe, he’s not a fan of mine. I’m not a Democrat. I’m a Republican.” Malik not only expressed his objection to Biden, but he also weighed in on his brother, calling him “a big disappointment” and “not the same person that he used to be when we were together.” In fact, he said: “It seems like once he became a big shot, it got to his head. And now he thinks that he’s god.”
A beer offer: The heir of Anheuser-Busch, Billy Busch, has an offer to the current owner of Bud Light, AB InBev. “If they don’t want that brand any longer, sell it back to the Busch family,” Busch stated. “Sell it to me. I’ll be the first in line to buy that brand back from you, and we’ll make that brand great again.” Since AB InBev’s stock value has take a massive tumble thanks to Bud Light’s disastrous marketing decision to partner with “transgender” activist Dylan Mulvany, the beer company has been selling off a number of its smaller beverage brands. With sales of Bud Light, the decades-long top-selling beer in the U.S., continuing to crater, it will be interesting to see if AB InBev takes Busch up on the offer.
YouTube’s new censorship: Under the guise of preventing the spread of “medical misinformation,” YouTube on Tuesday announced its latest censorship campaign. Issuing changes to its ever-evolving “Community Guidelines,” the Google-owned social media platform claimed to have “learned critical lessons” from the COVID pandemic: “We’re taking what we’ve learned so far about the most effective ways to tackle medical misinformation to simplify our approach for creators, viewers, and partners.” YouTube further explained its means for deciding what it will censor: “To determine if a condition, treatment or substance is in scope of our medical misinformation policies, we’ll evaluate whether it’s associated with a high public health risk, publicly available guidance from health authorities around the world, and whether it’s generally prone to misinformation.” In other words, YouTube will engage in the tyranny of the “experts” to justify censoring information it does not want shared. No debate or free thinking allowed. Meanwhile, not a shred of concern or commitment to upholding the principle of free speech whatsoever. But we’re not surprised.
Good news: Arkansas cancels CRT history: Arkansas is following the example set in Florida by Republican Governor Ron DeSantis: No more woke indoctrination in public schools. In January, Arkansas Republican Governor Sarah Huckabee ordered a ban on the teaching of critical race theory in the state’s K-12 public schools. In light of that order, the state’s Department of Education has canceled a new AP African American History course. Communications Director Alexa Henning explained: “The AP African American Studies pilot course is not a history course and is a pilot that is still undergoing major revisions. Arkansas law contains provisions regarding prohibited topics.” Henning further noted: “The state cannot give AP credit for a course that has not yet been finalized. Once the pilot is completed and AP releases the final course, ADE will review the final submission at that time.” The fact of the matter is, simply calling something “history” does not make it so.

GRANDVIEW, MO — As single people excitedly downloaded a new Christian dating app, they were surprised to learn that the app consists only of a single screen that tells users to go to church and find a godly spouse.
“Is this really all there is to it?” asked eligible bachelor Kobe Hardin. “I figured there would be some type of personality test, a lot of questions to answer, and then I’d have to sift through a daily barrage of girls I’m supposedly ‘matched’ with. This app just tells me I can find what I’m looking for just by going to church. Seems convenient!”
After varying degrees of disappointment navigating the dating world, young singles expressed relief that finding a mate suitable for marriage could be so easy. “I guess it makes some sense,” said single male Jack Roberts. “I don’t know why anyone would find it odd that going to a place where a lot of moral, God-fearing people gather regularly would give you your best chance to find a spouse. It’s been right here in front of us the whole time!”
Experts agree that, despite humanity continuously making things far more complicated than necessary, the answers to nearly all of life’s questions can be found by attending a good, biblical church. “I spent a lot of time on other dating apps,” Hardin said. “This is the only one I need now.”
At publishing time, the makers of the dating app were already developing another app that would offer users helpful life-improvement tips by just telling them to pray and read the Bible.

The Warren Commisssion “was Kabuki theater”, RFK Jr. said, commission head Allen Dulles was “the prime suspect” in JFK assassination
Speaking to Tucker Carlson, Democratic Presidential challenger Robert F. Kennedy Jr. discussed the CIA involvementg in the assassination of his uncle, John F. Kennedy, revealing names and details of the plot to kill the US President 1963. In January, Tucker Carlson had bravely reported on the CIA involvement in the Kennedy assassination and the Watergate scandal, assumed by many to be one of the reasons for Tucker’s unceremonious ouster and subsequent self-immolation of former top network Fox News.
“Almost all of the people associated with (JFK’s assassination) were involved with the Miami Station, which was the largest CIA Station at the time and was basically the Cuban Station”, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said. “The people who were involved were people, like Bill Harvey and David Atlee Phillips, who was clearly involved in my uncle’s assassination. By all evidence, he was Lee Harvey Oswald’s handler at the CIA. E. Howard Hunt made a confession, David Morales, who was the chief hitman. He ran the Operation Phoenix program in Vietnam, he killed ten thousand people, he also gave a confession of being in Dallas.”
The Cuba Station was “angry at my uncle for not sending in air cover during the Bay of Pigs invasion”, Kennedy said. “After the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, my uncle developed this friendship with Khrushchev, and he shut down all the attacks on Cuba by Alpha 66 and other groups who were harassing Cuba and sinking Russian ships. They were operating flotillas out of South Florida, and doing raids. My uncle (JFK) and father (RFK) sent the Coast Guard to confiscate their ships and weaponry and arrest those that kept doing it.”
“Why not just admit it now? Why would Biden not declassify the documents?” related to the JFK assassination, Tucker asked. “And why wouldn’t Trump” declassify the documents, RFK asked. “Because he was convinced by Mike Pompeo not to”, Tucker said.
“The JFK Assassinations Law required that all documents be released by 2017. Yet they refused. There are about 4000 (classified documents) left,” RFK said. “That suggests that there’s something big”, Tucker said. “It’s a fair assumption they’re not protecting individuals, they’re protecting institutional interests.”
“JFK and the Unspeakable” by Jim Douglass is “the best book” on the Kennedy assassination, according to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “After the Warren Commission, anybody who challenged that orthodoxy became a ‘conspiracy theorist’. In 1967, the CIA sent a letter out to all of the Operation Mockingbird assets it had in the American press, more than 400 senior editors, saying, from now on, anyone who questions the Single Gunman theory of the Kennedy assassination should be characterized a ‘conspiracy theorist’.”
“In 1979 the House Assassinations Committee met for a year and a half, and they looked at much more evidence than the Warren Commission. Allen Dulles ran the Warren Commission. He was the head of the CIA that my uncle fired. When my uncle died, (Allen Dulles) told a reporter, ‘I’m glad the little shit is dead. He thought he was a God’. Then he becomes the head of the Warren Commission. It should’ve been called the Dulles Commission. Earl Warren had a full-time job at the Supreme Court. All the other guys on the Warren Commission had full time jobs as Senators and congressmen. The only guy who went to every meeting was Allen Dulles. He was running the Warren Commission, and he should have been the prime suspect in the crime.”
Allen Dulles was “communicating secretly with the people at the CIA, with David Atlee Phillips, with George Joannides, the CIA liaison, and with J. Edgar Hoover, telling them what questions they would be asked. The whole thing was a coordinated Kabuki theater.”
In 1980, Congress concluded “this was a conspiracy”, Kennedy said. “Most of the people on that staff that I’ve talked to believe it was the CIA.”
“The dispute at that time was between the mob and the CIA”, Kennedy noted. “There was a lot of mob involvement. Johnny Roselli, Chicago boss Sam Giancana, Tampa boss Santo Trafficante and New Orleans boss Carlos Marcello were all involved. They all had casinos in Havana, and were working with the CIA to assassinate Castro. They had hitmen at their disposal and were training Cubans who were sharpshooters for (Cuban President Fulgencio) Batista.”
Kennedy had “talked to some of the hitmen involved”, he said, including Antonio Veciana, whose handler was David Atlee Phillips, who was also Lee Harvey Oswald’s handler. “So Veciana met Oswald in Dallas in September 1963. I’ve talked to the people who were working for the CIA and the mob at that time to kill Castro, and some of them were pivoted to this new project” of assassinating President John F. Kennedy, RFK Jr. said.
“I feel that I’m probably the only one that can unravel that agency capture,” Kennedy said.
“My daughter-in-law, who is co-running my campaign with Dennis Kucinich, Amaryllis Fox, was a CIA agent in the clandestine division for most of her career… will tell you that of the 24,000 people who work for the agency, 20,000 are patriotic Americans and good public servants,” Kennedy said.
“The espionage division is made up of extraordinary people who are doing an important job of protecting the country. The Espionage division does information gathering and analysis and the President needs that. The Plans Division is the action division. They’re the ones that assassinate people, fix elections, overthrow governments and do all the things that we’re paying for in our foreign policy – and domestic policy – today. My father was going to separate those two divisions. My uncle was going to do that too. He came out of his office during the Bay of Pigs and said, ‘I want to shatter the CIA in a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds,” Kennedy recalled.
“My father told (New York Post journalist) Pete Hamill a week before he died, ‘I’m gonna separate the Plans Division from the Espionage Division’ and that still makes a lot of sense today,” RFK noted.
House Republicans are up in arms following the latest tranche of damning texts from Hunter Biden suggesting his father had profited from the lucrative influence-peddling scheme Hunter engaged in when Joe Biden was vice president.
In a 2018 text thread spotlighted Tuesday by Fox News, Hunter claims to have paid his dad’s bills for the “past 11 years.”
The revelation corroborates speculation that President Joe Biden directly benefited from the numerous deals his son arranged with foreign entities that resulted in the family pocketing over $20 million.
Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York — the chairwoman of the House Republican Conference — said the messages prove Joe Biden is compromised and had sold out his country.
“This is what corruption looks like,” Stefanik told Fox. “For seemingly the entirety of Joe Biden’s vice presidency, his son Hunter was selling access to his father to the highest bidder while paying off his Joe Biden’s credit card bills. There can no longer be any doubt that Joe Biden is compromised.”
In an April 2018 text thread with his then-assistant Katie Dodge, Hunter discussed paying bills through a Wells Fargo credit line.
He wrote that his Wells Fargo bank account had “shut me out again,” according to Fox News.
“Too many cooks in the kitchen,” he wrote on April 12, 2018. “Too many profile changes and such. Happened 10 days ago too. What do you need? I’m going to bank in a few. Need to verify identity in person.”
“I need to pay AT&T,” Dodge replied.
Hunter directed Dodge to pay the bill using both his debit card and his “Wells Fargo credit line.”
He wrote, in a reference to his business longtime partner Eric Schwerin: “My dad has been using most lines on this account which I’ve through the gracious offerings of Eric have paid for past 11 years.”
House Republicans said the latest slew of incriminating texts adds to the mounting evidence suggesting the Biden family is corrupt.
“There’s more. Much, much more,” Rep. Clay Higgins of Louisiana told Fox. “Joe Biden is most certainly a heavily compromised career politician. Republicans on the Oversight Committee are revealing the depths of his corruption, and everyone close to him will be burned by the inferno of his crash.”
Republican Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona agreed.
“Bank records don’t lie,” he told Fox. “Follow the money: All transactions lead to the ‘Big Guy’ and his money-laundering shell games. Joe Biden should be impeached.”
Republican Rep. Tim Burchett of Tennessee slammed the president in a fiery post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“This is no longer just about Hunter Biden,” Burchett tweeted. “The president shared this bank account with him. More and more evidence just keeps hitting us in the mouth and eventually there’s got to be some justice. The American people are owed that much.”
This is no longer just about Hunter Biden. The president shared this bank account with him. More and more evidence just keeps hitting us in the mouth and eventually there’s got to be some justice. The American people are owed that much. https://t.co/BMiSyYH5zZ
Previous tranches of texts by Hunter Biden suggest his finances were commingled with his dad’s for years.
In a 2010 email, Schwerin wrote that he was transferring money from Joe Biden’s tax refund check into Hunter’s account because “he owes it to you,” according to Fox News.
“A 2016 email from Schwerin to Hunter indicated that Hunter was expected to pay an AT&T bill in the amount of $190 for ‘JRB [Joseph R. Biden],” Fox reported.
In a 2019 text to his daughter Naomi spotlighted by the U.K. Daily Mail, Hunter complained that he had been forced to fork over half his salary to his dad.
“I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family Fro (sic) 30 years,” Hunter wrote. “It’s really hard. But don’t worry unlike Pop, I won’t make you give me half your salary.”
At this point, there is a mountain of circumstantial evidence suggesting this president abused his power to enrich himself and his family. The American people deserve an explanation for this disgraceful scndal.
At the very least, Biden should turn over his bank statements to allay public concern that he sold out the country. If he has nothing to hide, then he has nothing to worry about, right?
Would you be willing to bet a billion dollars that stock prices are going to collapse? Needless to say, only an extremely small fraction of the population has that much money. And once you have accumulated a billion dollars, one would think that you would be extremely determined to protect it. But that is not what Michael Burry is doing. During the financial crisis of 2008, his massive bets against the housing market made him incredibly rich, and now he is making another “big short”. According to CNN, Burry has bet over 1.6 billion dollars that the stock market is going to crash…
Michael Burry, the “Big Short” investor who became famous for correctly predicting the epic collapse of the housing market in 2008, has bet more than $1.6 billion on a Wall Street crash.
Burry is making his bearish bets against the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100, according to Security Exchange Commission filings released Monday. Burry’s fund, Scion Asset Management, bought $866 million in put options (that’s the right to sell an asset at a particular price) against a fund that tracks the S&P 500 and $739 million in put options against a fund that tracks the Nasdaq 100.
Burry is using more than 90% of his portfolio to bet on a market downturn, according to the filings.
Does he know something that the rest of us don’t?
If he is wrong, he will look like a fool.
But if he is right, he will be a legend.
Michael Burry places a huge leveraged short position on the stock market with put options.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 have both notched big gains so far this year. They’re up nearly 16% and 38%, respectively.
In the mid-2000s, Burry was famous for placing a wager against the housing market and profited handsomely from the subprime lending crisis and the collapse of numerous major financial entities in 2008. The event was chronicled by Michael Lewis in his bestseller “The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine” and later adapted into a film where Burry was played by Christian Bale.
As economic activity has slowed down, demand for trucking services has slumped, and at this point the Cass Freight Index is down 8.9 percent on a year-over-year basis…
In terms of shipment volume in the for-hire market, the Cass Freight Index – which is concentrated on trucking but includes rail and other modes of transportation – fell again in July, to the worst July since July 2020, and July 2016, which had been in the middle of another freight recession (fat red line in the chart below).
Year-over-year, the index was down 8.9%, and compared to the peak in this cycle, in May 2021, it was down 12%.
And UPS and FedEx are both reporting that demand for package delivery is way down as well…
We’ve heard similar messages from UPS and FedEx. UPS reported a 9.9% drop in daily package volume for Q2, with June volume down 12.2%. FedEx reported an 18% drop in average daily shipments in its quarter ended May 31.
The economy is really struggling right now, and so the stock market should not be booming.
But for the moment, the rich are getting richer while homelessness absolutely explodes all over the nation. The following comes from Zero Hedge…
The Biden administration’s fight against homelessness is faltering ahead of the 2024 presidential election cycle.
A new Wall Street Journal report reveals the number of Americans ending up on the streets is happening at a “record rate” despite ‘Bidenomics‘ being touted as an economic savior for the middle class. Every working-class folk understands Biden’s policies have been absolutely horrendous — two years of negative real wages forced many to rack up insurmountable credit card debt during the highest interest rate environment in a generation while draining personal savings — all to make ends meet, like putting food on the table and paying rent. Compound this with the worst housing affordability period in decades (maybe relief in 2H24 or ’25), and it’s not hard to understand why the homelessness crisis is beginning to spiral out of control for Democrats.
I could go on and on about the dire state of the U.S. economy, but I am not going to repeat all of the statistics that I have shared in other articles over the past few weeks. if you are interested in seeing those numbers, this is where you can find them…
Of course it isn’t just the United States that is experiencing an economic slowdown.
As Jim Rickards has aptly noted, “major economies are falling into the ditch” all over the globe right now…
It’s becoming increasingly apparent that we’re looking at a global recession, if not a global financial crisis. These are highly unusual. It’s often the case that one or more major economies are in recession while others display growth and help pull the weak performers out of the ditch.
But today, we’re facing a case where, one after the other, all of the major economies are falling into the ditch.
So many of the things that we have been warned about for a very long time are starting to happen right in front of our eyes.
We are clearly headed for very big economic trouble, and that should be apparent to everyone at this point.
Michael Burry is planning to make a giant pile of money when the stock market finally crashes just like he did in 2008.
Will he be correct?
I don’t know, but you certainly cannot accuse him of not putting his money where his mouth is.

I have published thousands of articles on The Economic Collapse Blog, End Of The American Dream and The Most Important News, and the articles that I publish on those sites are republished on dozens of other prominent websites all over the globe. I always freely and happily allow others to republish my articles on their own websites, but I also ask that they include this “About the Author” section with each article. The material contained in this article is for general information purposes only, and readers should consult licensed professionals before making any legal, business, financial or health decisions. I encourage you to follow me on social media on Facebook and Twitter, and any way that you can share these articles with others is definitely a great help. These are such troubled times, and people need hope. John 3:16 tells us about the hope that God has given us through Jesus Christ: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” If you have not already done so, I strongly urge you to invite Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior today.
Historian and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R-GA) gave a stark assessment of the indictment of President Trump by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis for challenging the 2020 presidential election in Georgia in an interview Monday night on the Fox News Channel show Hannity. Gingrich warned, “we are drifting towards the greatest Constitutional crisis since the 1850s, uh, and the rise of secession and the Civil War,”…that will “(establish) a moment of bitterness, which I think will last for a generation or more.”

Newt Gingrich: “I think what you’re seeing tonight is one tree in a forest, and I think we are drifting towards the greatest Constitutional crisis since the 1850s, uh, and the rise of secession and the Civil War. I don’t mean that as hyperbole. Uh, if you read Andy McCarthy’s remarkable book, Ball of Collusion, which came out in 2019, he makes very clear that it is Barack Obama who corrupts the Justice Department, it is Hillary Clinton who routinely breaks the law and gets away with it. And now we have Joe Biden who’s learned, he’s learned from Obama that is doesn’t matter what you do, if you’re a liberal Democrat, you will not be prosecuted. He learned from Hillary that a person in high public office can get millions and millions of dollars. And they learned from watching Donald Trump that a true outsider, willing to take on the entire system, could destroy their entire machine. So what you’re seeing across the country, is a desperate, last-ditch effort by a corrupt machine to destroy their most dangerous opponent in a way which not only breaks the Constitution, destroys the rule of law, and establishes a moment of bitterness, uh, which I think will last for a generation or more. I think this is gonna be a horrendous period and we just need to understand: The people who want to control America and dictate to the rest of us will break any law, lie about any topic, and manipulate the system any way they can, and that includes a lot of the elite news media.”

Gingrich also called on House Republicans to cut off funding for the Justice Department’s prosecution of Trump, “I think this is so dangerous to the very survival of the republic that it has to be stopped.” Gingrich predicted that millions of Americans will campaign in Trump’s stead next year if he is tied up in court trials.

President Biden faced mockery and skepticism on social media after he told a crowd on Tuesday that he watched a bridge collapse in Pittsburgh last year.
Biden was touting his economic policies during a stop at Ingeteam, a wind turbine generator manufacturer in Milwaukee, when he brought up the 2022 collapse. “A lot of you were with me when I was in Pittsburgh,” he told the crowd. “By the way, Pittsburgh is a city of bridges – more bridges in Pittsburgh than any other city in America.”
He went on to claim, “I watched that bridge collapse,” and added, “I got there and saw it collapse with over 200 feet off the ground going over a valley. It collapsed. Thank God school was out during the pandemic.”
A video of Biden’s comments went viral on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In a scripted speech delivered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin yesterday, President Biden dropped one of his trademark tongue twisters that instill confidence in the minds of Americans and fear in the hearts of her enemies.
He claimed that he watched a bridge in Pittsburgh collapse.
During a speech in Wisconsin Tuesday, Joe Biden repeatedly lied and told made up stories after earlier refusing to answer questions from reporters about the situation in Maui.
Biden arrived Wisconsin, after having flew directly over East Palestine, Ohio, which he promised to visit five months ago, but never has.
Joe Biden’s flight from DC to Milwaukee today flew almost directly over East Palestine, Ohio.
He arrived at a factory and acted like he had no clue where he was:

Biden introduces Democrat Senator Tammy Baldwin: “You’re the best, kid … if I had another ten of you, we could rule the world” pic.twitter.com/RywIYKwq5I
When he did manage to get sentences out, they were just complete bald faced lies:
Biden can’t be serious:
“Our inflation rate has dropped to the lowest among major economy economic nations in the world. And if we keep it up, it’s gonna go lower according to money!” pic.twitter.com/t9S0y1Ky6H
Biden once again tells the false story that an Amtrak conductor named Angelo Negri told him how many miles he traveled on the train, which never happened because the guy died before this conversation could have conceivably occurred.
“True worship, as described in the Scriptures, is a response to Jesus being revealed to us by God the Father. It is not contingent on musical skill, technological prowess, or atmospheric effects. When we look at the worship of God by the angels and His people in the Bible, we see a focus on the character, works, and promises of God….”
(The Dissenter) In the modern age, it’s not uncommon to find churches falling into a pattern of cheesy, shallow worship music. The superficiality of these songs often reveals much about the theology in the church itself. When a church preaches and a congregation subscribes to shallow theology, a low view of the sovereignty of God, and a high view of self, the music produced inevitably mirrors these beliefs….
In the end, this music tends to focus more on appeasing human desires and emotions rather than exalting and honoring God.
A church that understands the truth of God’s majesty, righteousness, and grace is expected to produce worship that reflects these very truths. But how can you discern whether or not the music is man-centered? Here are five key ways to identify it: View article →
