There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
Each one of us will die, if the Lord should tarry. But we must not wait until the end of this life to ready ourselves–preparation begins now. Today, Guy Waters provides five ways to prepare ourselves spiritually for death.
00:03:45 01 Wherein the text is opened and the doctrine propounded.
00:10:04 02 Shews, that although God takes no delight in afflicting his people, yet he sometimes exposeth them to great and grievous sufferings; with a brief about why, and how he calls them thereunto.
00:24:07 03 Shews that it is usual with God to premonish his people of approaching trials and sufferings; with some account of the manner how, and the reason why he so forewarns them.
00:37:35 04 Demonstrating the excellency of a prepared heart for the worst of sufferings’ and what a blessed thing it is to be ready to be bound, or to die for Christ, as Paul here was.
01:04:12 05 Evincing the necessity of a sound and real work of grace upon the heart, to fit a man for suffering for Christ.
01:19:53 06 Wherein the nature of this work of grace, in which our habitual fitness for suffering lies, is briefly opened, and an account given of the great advantage the gracious person hath for any, even the hardest work thereby.
01:38:31 07 In which the necessity of getting clear evidences of this work of grace in us, in order to our readiness for sufferings, is held forth, the nature of that evidence opened; and divers things that cloud and obscure it removed out of the way.
01:54:46 08 Discovering the necessity of an improved faith for the right management of sufferings, and directing to some special means for the improvement thereof.
02:11:27 09 Wherein the necessity and usefulness of Christian fortitude in order to sufferings is evinced, with a brief account of its nature and the means of attaining it.
02:25:57 10 Discovering the necessity of an heart mortified to all earthly and temporal enjoyments, in order to the right managing of a suffering condition; with several directions for the attaining thereof.
02:47:07 11 Wherein is opened the singular advantage that suffering saints have by their skill and insights into the rewards and mysteries of Satan’s temptations: some of those wiles of Satan opened, and rules for the avoiding of the danger briefly prescribed.
03:04:42 12 Sheweth that a choice part of our preparation and readiness for suffering consists in the improvement of our praying abilities, and keeping close with God in that heavenly and excellent duty in days of suffering; wherein also is opened the nature and means of its improvement.
03:13:29 13 Wherein is shewed the necessity of going out of ourselves, even when our habitual and actual preparations are at the greatest height; and depending as constantly and entirely upon the Spirit, who is Lord of all gracious influences, as if we had done nothing: together with the means of working the heart to such a frame.
03:27:05 14 Containing the first use of the point by way of conviction, discovering the unreadiness of multitudes of professors for suffering-work.
03:37:30 15 Containing another use of the point, by way of exhortation, persuading all the people of God, whilst the Lord respites, and graciously delays their trials, to answer the end of God therein, and prepare themselves for greater trials; where several motives are propounded to excite to the duty.
03:48:26 16 Containing the last use of the point, by way of support and comfort to poor trembling souls, who do take pains to make themselves ready for sufferings; but yet finding such strength in Satan’s temptations, and their own corruptions, fear that all their labour is in vain, and that they shall fain, and utterly apostatize when their troubles and trials come to an height.
John Flavel (1628-1691) Excerpt from Meet the Puritans by Dr. Joel Beeke and Randall J. Pederson
John Flavel was born in 1628 in Bromsgrove Worcestershire. He was the son of Richard Flavel, a minister who died of the plague in 1665 while in prison for nonconformity. John Flavel was educated by his father in the ways of religion, then “plied his studies hard” as a commoner at University College, Oxford. In 1650, he was ordained by the presbytery at Salisbury. He settled in Diptford where he honed his numerous gifts. In 1656, Flavel accepted a call to be minister in the thriving seaport of Dartmouth.
If the Lord were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have showed us all these thing. (Judges 13:23)
This is a sort of promise deduced by logic. It is an inference fairly drawn from ascertained facts. It was not likely that the Lord had revealed to Manoah and his wife that a son would be born to them and yet had it in His heart to destroy them. The wife reasoned well, and we shall do well if we follow her line of argument.
The Father has accepted the great sacrifice of Calvary and has declared Himself well pleased therewith; how can He now be pleased to kill us! Why a substitute if the sinner must still perish? The accepted sacrifice of Jesus puts an end to fear.
The Lord has shown us our election, our adoption, our union to Christ, our marriage to the Well-beloved: how can He now destroy us? The promises are loaded with blessings, which necessitate our being preserved unto eternal life. It is not possible for the Lord to cast us away and yet fulfill His covenant. The past assures us, and the future reassures us. We shall not die but live, for we have seen Jesus, and in Him we have seen the Father by the illumination of the Holy Ghost. Because of this life-giving sight we must live forever.
“Whoever believes in me as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within Him” John 7:38
Fresh clean water flowing from a mountain! When was the last time you drank from a fresh mountain stream? Or have you ever?
When I was a child, our family lived on a wonderful, scenic 64-acre dairy farm which had treed hills to explore and a creek running through it. During the summer, I would often go fishing for trout. A willow branch was my rod, a string, a cheap hook, earth worm for bait and a nut (from dad’s workshop) for a sinker was what I used. No expensive fishing rod. If I grew thirsty while fishing, I would lean over and drink the water with cupped hands. Refreshing and good.
When Marvin and I bought our first property, we had a deep ravine around three sides of our house. Flowing from the ravine, in several places, were fresh water springs. Actually this is where a river had its beginning.
My husband dug a shallow well and captured the water from one of these springs– this is the water we drank.
Occasionally in fall and winter – our rainy season – the fallen leaves from the trees would block the path of the spring running into the well we would have to remove the rotting leaves and the flow toward the well would begin again.
Aren’t our lives like that sometimes? We have received Jesus Christ and the streams of new life, joy, peace, gentleness flow from within us because of the Holy Spirit. People are blessed when we cross their paths.
However, sometimes the source of our “Springs of Living Water” gets blocked with rotten leaves (sinful acts or attitudes), and they slow down or cut off the stream of Living Water coming out of our life.
You know, all we have to do to get that flow of Living Water flowing out of us again, is sincerely confess our sin (1 John 1:9), and by faith appropriate the fullness of His Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). Then the streams of Living Water will begin to flow again. Sin blocks the flow!
I encourage you to do this every time you contemplate a sinful act or attitude. Someone once said, “I ‘fess them as I does them, I don’t bunch them.” Great way to live.
Father, thank You for living within us. You are the source of the Living Water flowing out of us. May we always keep the flow free from any obstructions. Amen.
Let these words slowly sink into your understanding: “able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think” (v. 20 ESV). What an amazing description of God’s ability to work within us. Ephesians 3:20-21
Yet so often our focus is mainly on what we want Him to do around us: If He would change this situation or fix that problem, then my life would be better.
But He invites us to think and ask bigger—He wants to change us!
The Holy Spirit has more than enough power to transform lives from the inside out, but working change within is usually a slow process. Spiritual fruit takes time to grow and mature. That’s why we need patience and faith to believe He is working even when we don’t see the results right away. God is never in a hurry and will never give up on us.
The Lord has a purpose for your life, and He is constantly working to achieve it. Although He has an individualized plan for each one of His children, He also has an overarching goal—to conform every believer to the image of His Son Jesus Christ. In order to accomplish this, He may have to bring us through some struggles and heartaches. It might make no sense to us, but God knows exactly what He’s doing.
What would you like to see the Lord do within you?
As you read the Scriptures, look for qualities that God considers precious, and ask Him to work them out in your life. Then rely on His wonderful promise to do even more than you have asked or imagined.

Why Is There Such A Frenzy To Buy Up The Properties That Were Just Burned Down During The Fires In Hawaii? Can you imagine calling up a family that has just seen their home burn to the ground and offering to buy their land for below market value? This is apparently happening in Hawaii right now on a massive scale. Grieving property owners are being bombarded with calls from very greedy people, and I think that says a lot about the current state of our society. We literally worship material possessions and financial gain, and the sheer greed that we are witnessing at this moment is absolutely staggering.

What Would a US-Saudi-Israeli Deal Look Like, and Could It Lead to a New Israeli Government? If true, a possible agreement between the United States and Saudi Arabia that would involve Saudi-Israeli normalization, would likely be a maneuver designed to strengthen Washington’s global strategic policy. Israel plays a minor consideration in this potential arrangement, but its results could nevertheless challenge the current Israeli government to the point of bringing about its dissolution.

CBDCs coming? Australian fears of cashless society rise as major banks restrict withdrawals Headlines across the globe see Australia making aggressive moves towards a cashless society, a move that gravely threatens the last bastions of economic privacy and individual autonomy. Are Australia’s major banks merely championing the cutting edge of financial convenience, or is there a more pernicious hidden agenda seeping into our digital economy? It certainly appears that Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), the potential beneficiaries of a cashless society, could become the shackles of a future technocratic authoritarian world.

HERE’S HOW THE POWER ELITE ARE TARGETING THE TOP VAX TRUTH-TELLERS WORLDWIDE The following exposé presents the clearest evidence yet proving the existence of a highly organized international crime syndicate formed specifically to suppress the truth about the extremely dangerous and deadly COVID-19 ‘vaccines’. Not only did the formulators of the Covid injections know that they were producing an extremely sophisticated bioweapon, they painstakingly executed a complex conspiratorial plot to cover up their long-planned genocide.

Fellow Patriots, on this day in 1998, Bill Clinton became the first sitting U.S. president to testify before a grand jury. Joe Biden should be the second. —Mark Alexander
It was another day and another whopper for the president who seems utterly unable to tell the truth.
Douglas Andrews
As Joe Biden has aged, he’s developed a subtle but sure-fire tell to indicate when he’s lying: His lips move.
I’m literally, literally, literally serious, as Joe himself might put it. I’m not joking. I’m not making this up. This is not hyperbole.
So it was on Tuesday, when Biden told a crowd in Milwaukee that he watched a bridge collapse in Pittsburgh last year, honest and for true.
Biden was in Cheesehead territory to tout the smashing success of Bidenomics. He began, innocently enough, with an attempt at damage control for his incredibly callous “No comment” remark over the weekend when he was asked about the rising death toll from the wildfire in Maui. And then, as he’s wont to do, Biden wandered off script and began talking about last year’s Fern Hollow bridge collapse, which sent four people to the hospital.
“A lot of you were with me when I was in Pittsburgh,” he told the, er, crowd. “By the way, Pittsburgh is a city of bridges — more bridges in Pittsburgh than any other city in America.”
We somehow doubt that “a lot” of the paid attendees people there in Milwaukee also happened to be with him on that fateful late-January day in Pittsburgh, but when ol’ Joe gets rolling, you’d better believe the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor. “I watched that bridge collapse,” he continued. “I got there and saw it collapse with over 200 feet off the ground going over a valley. It collapsed. Thank God school was out during the — during the pandemic.”
Indeed, thank God for the blessed pandemic that killed more than a million Americans, and for the politicians and teachers unions that used it to rob our kids of years’ worth of education.
And thank God for Joe Biden himself, who enthralled Wisconsin Democrats with the tale of how he ripped off his sport coat, raced down the bank, dove straight into frigid Fern Creek, and singlehandedly raised up a span of the bridge to free the poor souls who’d been trapped beneath it. (Okay, we kid.)
Alas, as the Washington Examiner’s Paul Bedard helpfully corrected, Biden didn’t see any such thing: “He showed up hours later since he was in town on an infrastructure mission.”
From there, it was off to the next well-worn lie — this one about how an Amtrak conductor congratulated the then-vice president for having ridden more miles on the train than on board Air Force Two.
How do we know that the Amtrak story is a lie? Because the conductor, a man named Angelo Negri, retired from Amtrak roughly 20 years before Biden says the conversation took place.
Some might find this Walter Mittyesque self-aggrandizement endearing, but we tend to find it irritating. This is no doubt in part because the mainstream media lets him do it with impunity. Remember how he was “appointed” to the U.S. Naval Academy? How he graduated in the top half of his law class at Syracuse? How he was arrested in South Africa while trying to see Nelson Mandela? How he was arrested during the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s? How he used to drive an 18-wheeler for a living?
Lies, lies, and more lies.
But some of his lies are bigger and more awful than others. Like the one about how his first wife and daughter died. And the one about how his son Beau died.
Those lies are just plain sick, but they’re a fundamental part of who Joe Biden is.
Presidents don’t control everything, but an awful lot of blame for a growing crisis belongs on Biden’s desk.
Nate Jackson
“Only 36% of U.S. adults approve of [Joe] Biden’s handling of the economy,” reports the Associated Press. There are reasons that may not matter all that much in 2024, but it should. Because when there’s a huge increase in homelessness nationwide, something is greatly amiss with its leadership.
Before we get to that, let’s pause for a minute to mock the AP’s first graf: “President Joe Biden has devoted the past several weeks to promoting the positive impacts of his policies — but his efforts have yet to meaningfully register with the public.”
Oh, his efforts are registering alright. It’s just that most Americans know Bidenomics stinks and he’s full of [insert scatalogical reference].
Our evidence? Well, for this analysis, it’s that drastic increase in homelessness. Just this year, estimates are that the number of homeless has increased 11% over last year. That “sharp jump,” says the Wall Street Journal’s news division, “would represent by far the biggest recorded increase since the government started tracking comparable numbers in 2007.” It’s not even close, given that the next highest increase was 2.7%.
The Journal acknowledges that “point-in-time” numbers are likely an undercount, given how difficult it can be to locate homeless people and the fact that places like San Francisco and Seattle are yet to count anyone yet this year. More official numbers will come from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development later this year.
Obviously, it’s not all his fault, but what did Joe Biden do to make the problem worse?
For starters, it goes back to Bidenomics, which means massive government spending and heavy-handed regulation causing rampant inflation, which in turn yielded Federal Reserve actions to raise interest rates.
When it comes to home prices, the trouble then comes from every direction. Materials and labor to build homes cost a lot more, which shifts prospective buyers to look for existing homes. Increased demand puts pressure on supply, which drives up those prices to a new median of $441,000. Two-decade-high interest rates obviously add to the cost of buying an already more expensive home.
It’s not just home buyers being squeezed. Staying in your home costs far more than it did two years ago. Increased home values cause (sometimes drastically) increased insurance and property tax rates, which most people pay out of escrow with each month’s mortgage payment. If you own a home, you likely received notice that your mortgage payment is going up, maybe by hundreds of dollars a month.
Then there are utilities, all of which have increased in the last two years. Rates for electricity and natural gas have risen thanks to Biden’s war on energy, but water and sewer aren’t far behind.
Thanks, Joe.
But we’re not done. Fewer home buyers and owners means more renters, which again increases demand for a smaller supply, raising rent prices. Landlords just hope to recoup increased costs. Tenants are really struggling to keep up with median rents of $2,000 a month.
Put all that together and it’s no wonder there’s been a drastic increase in people just not living in a home anymore.
Of course, mental illness and drug abuse are at least as much of a factor as economic considerations. Indeed, homeless people used to be called vagrants, and we used to do otherwise than just let them set up a tent on a city sidewalk or unroll a sleeping bag at the local transportation station. Today, it’s considered more “compassionate” to not institutionalize people who probably ought to be. So, instead, schizophrenics and opioid addicts end up sleeping under bridges and yelling at clouds on public streets. It’s tragic, and it shouldn’t happen in America (or anywhere else).
Finally, there’s Biden’s border crisis, which has brought a massive influx of needy people with nowhere to live. Ask the sanctimonious blue cities and states now panicking under the weight of the crisis they invited. New York City alone reports more than 82,000 people in its shelter system. An LA hotel-to-homeless shelter conversion just sustained $11.5 million in damages from inhabitants. It’s not sustainable for either city.
Presidents aren’t in charge of creating jobs, setting wages, mandating home prices, or dealing with addictions. But Joe Biden pretends are actually tries to be, and the results are clearly devastating.
PopCon #9: ‘Barbie’: Brilliant or Brainless? The new “Barbie” movie is on track to be the biggest film for 2023. Feminists are touting it as “girl power” gold, while many conservatives refuse to even watch it. But is “Barbie” really so cut and dried, as it is easy to assume? You might be surprised.
Our nation stands at a crossroads, grappling with a complex web of challenges that stretch far beyond typical crime and poverty.
Armstrong Williams
Hawaii, once a symbol of nature’s grace, now lies devastated, a chilling semblance of a war zone. At least 100 lives have been lost to the flames of a devastating wildfire, with hundreds of homes obliterated and families shattered. But in the face of this profound tragedy, America’s President Joe Biden has responded with a suggestion that borders on the absurd. If you thought his disregard for the American people had reached its lowest point, think again. While the embers of destruction still glow in Hawaii, Biden has made a jarring proposal to Congress: provide an additional $24 billion in aid to Ukraine.
Underneath America’s leadership, a perpetually angry and misguided segment of left-winged Americans has eroded our nation’s priorities. They argue that America should always be second to the needs of others. But this is not the America that the majority yearn for; it’s the America that those who resent our nation’s principles desire.
Our nation stands at a crossroads, grappling with a complex web of challenges that stretch far beyond typical crime and poverty. Among these challenges are the haunting problems of human trafficking and the trafficking of drugs and firearms. Yet, the threats we face are not limited to these insidious enterprises. Thousands of Americans fall victim to petty criminals every year through crimes such as carjackings and robberies.
When will the American people receive the attention and care that Ukraine gets? When will the homeless veterans, who once fought bravely for their nation only to be left in the cold, the needy families struggling to make ends meet, single mothers laboring to provide for their children, and the helpless poor families waiting for a glimmer of hope receive the same level of commitment and assistance that Biden offers to a foreign nation?
The concern doesn’t end at Ukraine. We can cast our eyes to our own cities, like New York City, now facing a migrant crisis unparalleled in its history. It’s reminiscent of the European migration crisis of 2015 when open borders led to over 1 million migrants entering the EU. New York’s far-left city council and state politicians are now grappling with the aftermath of such policies. Tens of thousands of migrants are now dispersed across New York’s cities, burdening communities large and small with both actual and unrealized fears.
Will those who feign righteousness, those who boldly fly the Ukrainian flag outside their homes, who offer to take migrants into their homes, who march in protests in support of Ukraine and who decry the right for simply asking that we take care of our own first also fly the flag of Hawaii?
Of course they won’t, and we all know why. It’s because there’s a prevailing yet misguided doctrine that America is so powerful and mighty that when its own people are harmed, we can conveniently ignore them, treating them as though they are privileged and unworthy of attention. Pay no mind to the stark contrast between images of overindulgence and peaceful streets in many Ukrainian cities under threat of conflict and the devastation on the ground in Hawaii. This selective empathy is obvious. It’s hypocrisy at its finest, and it clearly shows that those who stand for righteousness falter when their own countrymen are in need.
While my heart aches for the Ukrainians affected by this war, and I vehemently believe in halting Vladimir Putin’s aggression, America cannot turn a blind eye to its internal struggles. America’s families are faced with choosing which meals to skip, struggling to pay rent or managing unexpected expenses. I ask you, Joe Biden, when will these families receive the same assistance you provide to everyone else?
So, what shall we do for the displaced people from Hawaii? Will we abandon them? No. We must treat them better than we treat everyone else, for any expense spared is a blot on our national honor. I urge our government to welcome displaced Hawaiians with more than just open arms. They deserve five-star hotel accommodations, luxurious meals, free health care and child care. Why? Because that’s how we should treat Americans. And yet, it’s how we’re currently treating the migrants.
“America First” has been wrongly maligned due to the left’s deliberate misunderstanding and misinterpretation of the principle. It’s about preserving a nation’s dignity, offering help and utilizing resources wisely, without exhausting them. The American people’s welfare must not be sacrificed for Ukraine or the migrants crossing our borders. Perhaps time will tell whether we will be able to provide them assistance. But, until that day comes, America must first care for its own.
Trump Georgia trial, “transing” kids in the states, court sides with pro-life activists, and more.
Thomas Gallatin & Jordan Candler
Cross-Examination
Trump Georgia trial on Super Tuesday Eve? March 4, 2024, is the requested date for the trial of Donald Trump in Fulton County, Georgia. That date just happens to be the day before Super Tuesday, when the largest number of states hold their presidential primaries. While some contend that this move is designed to force Trump off the campaign trail at a pivotal moment, strategically this actually plays in his favor, making him front and center news as voters go to the polls. Meanwhile, the question of whether Trump will show up to the first GOP primary debate is still up in the air. If he does decide to forego it, he can steal the limelight by scheduling his Georgia jailhouse booking to coincide with the debate.
Blue on blue: Apparently, New York Governor Kathy Hochul is none too keen on New York City Mayor Eric Adams’s handling of the increasing number of illegal aliens moving into the Big Apple. In a 12-page letter sent from the Democrat governor’s lawyer to the Democrat mayor’s office, Hochul indirectly chastised Adams’s leadership, arguing, “The city can and should do more to act in a proactive and collaborative manner with the state.” The letter further noted that the state has committed $1.5 billion to help with the migrant crisis. “The City did not prioritize this critical effort,” the letter says. “Had the City done so, it is likely that thousands more migrants would be able to work today.” When questioned about the letter’s criticism, Hochul claimed that she and Adams weren’t at odds, but she did admit, “It is true they didn’t accept some of the help we offered.” NYC Deputy Mayor Fabien Levy acknowledged the letter, saying, “We’re encouraged to see our partners in Albany want to deeply engage on this crisis and take a more proactive role in their response … because this is such a significant crisis, we need more.”
“Transing” kids in the states: North Carolina Democrat Governor Roy Cooper’s veto of a bill banning gender-bending “treatments” on children and minors has been overridden by the Republican-led legislature. The law bars medical professionals in the Tar Heel State from providing puberty-blocking hormones and drugs, as well as bans gender mutilation surgeries on minors. Meanwhile, on the other end of the country, America First Legal brought a lawsuit against Washington Democrat Governor Jay Inslee to stop the enforcement of a law he signed in May — SB 5599 — that allows children to undergo gender-bending treatments, including gender mutilation surgeries, without needing parental consent. Under the new law, not only do children not need parental consent, but there is no requirement that parents be notified of their child undergoing gender “treatment.”
Former FBI Russiagate agent pleads guilty to money laundering for a Russian: Former FBI special agent Charles McGonigal, who was a key individual in the “Russiagate” investigation, has pleaded guilty to his involvement in money laundering for a Russian oligarch. According to Matthew Olsen, assistant attorney general of the Justice Department’s National Security Division, “Charles McGonigal, by his own admission, betrayed his oath and actively concealed his illicit work at the bidding of a sanctioned Russian oligarch.” Given the lie that the Russia hoax was, it comes as little surprise that McGonigal would be involved in other lies.
Good news: free speech on some campuses: Presidents from 13 colleges and universities have announced their partnership to promote free expression at their schools. Calling it the “Campus Call for Free Expression,” the presidents are from high-profile schools like the University of Notre Dame, Cornell University, Duke University, and the University of Pittsburgh. The partnership was arranged by the Institute for Citizens & Scholars, whose president, Rajiv Vinnakota, explained, “This diverse coalition of college presidents — from institutions large and small, private and public — is united in its commitment to ensuring students are civically well-informed, productively engaged, and committed to democracy.” Each of the participating schools will promote programs such as James Madison University’s partnership with the Bipartisan Policy Center to hold “free expression training for every incoming first year and transfer student.”
Court sides with pro-life activists: The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia unanimously upheld a lower-court ruling that the 2020 arrest of pro-life protesters for writing a chalk message on the street during George Floyd protests was a violation of their First Amendment rights to free speech. At the time of the incident in question, a number of BLM protesters who wrote chalk messages on the road and sidewalk were not arrested, but two students who wrote “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” on the sidewalk were singled out for arrest. They were charged with violating a defacement ordinance. “The government may not play favorites in a public forum — permitting some messages and prohibiting others,” the court ruled. “We conclude the [plaintiffs have] plausibly alleged the District’s selective enforcement of the defacement ordinance constituted viewpoint discrimination in a public forum in violation of the First Amendment.”

As the school year gets underway, school districts have to choose whether or not to hide gender transitions from parents.
Emmy Griffin
You can tell where the radical strongholds are in the country ever more clearly. There are at least three states that have rules saying school districts should keep student gender transitions from parents.
The latest example of this happened in Maryland, where Montgomery County Public Schools was being sued by three parents who ardently disagreed with the district’s “gender support plan.” This plan allowed for teachers, school counselors, and school administrators to help students keep gender transitions a secret from their parents if those students indicated they will not be supported in this decision by their parents at home.
The three parents who brought the case argued that it was a violation of their 14th Amendment rights. The case was thrown out because the plaintiffs did not have children who struggle with gender identity or who were part of the “gender support plan.” The court did, however, admit that even though these parents had no standing to make such a complaint, that “does not mean their objections are invalid.”
Judge A. Marvin Quattlebaum Jr. noted: “In fact, they may be quite persuasive. But, by failing to show any injury to themselves, the parents’ opposition … reflects a policy disagreement. And policy disagreements should be addressed to elected policymakers at the ballot box, not to unelected judges in the courthouse.”
This affects some 350 students across Montgomery County. An unknown number of them are actively hiding their gender transitions from their parents. It will take another parent or two with the same strategy but with a student whose life is being shattered by this pernicious ideology for this to change.
This school district is also infamous for disallowing religious parents from opting their kids out of LGBTQ+ curriculum. It does this by no longer informing parents when these lessons are going to happen.
Maryland is not alone in having activists sabotage parental rights. New Jersey’s Middletown, Marlboro, and Manalapan-Englishtown regional school districts all were brought before a judge because they were implementing a policy that would notify parents if a child declares that he or she is transitioning. This is good. However, what happened next is not.
New Jersey Attorney General Matt Platkin filed three “emergency” lawsuits on behalf of Governor Phil Murphy’s administration in opposition to the policies. This one is even more nefarious in some ways than the Maryland case because it is a radical Democrat governor who is trying to allow for this cult indoctrination to continue and blindside parents with it.
The attorney general argued that this sort of policy is discriminatory and harmful — which is ridiculous. Parents have a right to know everything that is going on with their child, good and bad. It’s as ridiculous as suggesting a teacher not tell parents that their child is failing a class and surprising them with an “F” at the end of the semester. It would be a pertinent analogy, except the transgender ideology is infinitely more harmful than a failing grade. It leads children to darker and darker places, all in the vain attempt to do the impossible: change their sex.
Ironically, it is a school district in California — of all places — that has successfully instituted a policy where if a student decides to go by a different gender, the teacher has to report it to the parents. Murrieta Valley Unified School District became the second school district in California to pass such a policy. By a vote of 3-2, the school board approved the new policy and the activists were furious.
They threatened lawsuits, they threatened death, and they threatened smearing of their names. They also intimated that should the policy pass, the board members were advocates of violence against children.
But the parents prevailed.
Political pundit Matt Walsh sees this turn of events in California as the beginning of the end of the “trans” indoctrination. As more and more states take steps to protect children from this ideology and the Marxism from which it stems, one can only hope that is the case.
A judge rules that feelings equate to facts in siding with young climate alarmists’ claim that fossil fuels are causing them emotional distress.
Thomas Gallatin
In a case that would make Greta Thunberg proud, 16 young people ages five to 22 successfully sued the state of Montana for failing to protect their right to a “clean and healthful environment.” Their entire case rested upon the utterly unmeasurable and unquantifiable claim that the Treasure State’s Environmental Policy Act has “harmed” them since it precludes local officials from incorporating “greenhouse gas emissions and corresponding impacts to the climate” into their evaluation process when considering energy project approvals.
In other words, since Montana passed laws to prevent ecofascists from crushing the fossil fuel industry in the state, these children sued. Nothing like using gullible kids to promote a Marxist political agenda, which is what the climate change cult is really all about.
Indeed, given the judge’s reasoning, it was clear that these young people were merely used as props in a show trial — the outcome of which was decided before it began.
Judge Kathy Seely of the First District Court in Montana effectively based her “harm” ruling on a rationale that could be boiled down to this: The kids are so sad. Seely claimed, “Youth plaintiffs have experienced past and ongoing injuries resulting from the state’s failure to consider [greenhouse gas emissions] and climate change, including injuries to their physical and mental health, homes and property; recreational, spiritual and aesthetic interests; tribal and cultural traditions, economic security and happiness.”
Seely further enumerated, “Plaintiff’s mental health injuries stemming from the effects of climate change on Montana’s environment, feelings like loss, despair, and anxiety, are cognizable injuries.” Really? Just reading Seely’s ridiculous ruling causes feelings of despair and anxiety over the state of our nation’s judicial system.
Reading through the decision, we’re left wondering who Seely paid off to get her district judge gig. It is really that bad.
Making matters worse, while the plaintiffs had little other than feelings to offer, the state brought data and evidence to support its defense. The state even brought in world-renowned climatologist Judith Curry to back up its claims. Curry blasted the climate alarmist group Our Children’s Trust, the ecofascists behind the lawsuit, cogently observing, “There is no right to a ‘safe and stable climate,’ for the simple reason that Earth’s climate is constantly out of equilibrium and evolving.”
Ignoring sound science and reasoned logic, the Leftmedia celebrated the verdict as a landmark, precedent-setting decision upon which judicial momentum can be built for furthering the Left’s war against fossil fuels.
Hopefully, however, the vacuous argument of elevating feelings as facts won’t play with the appellate courts. Children crying emotional distress over the climate change bogeyman they have been indoctrinated to fear should not sway any sober-minded judge. If it does, then a bed manufacturer could be held liable for the nightmares a child experiences over fears of the imaginary monster living under his bed.
Finally, if anyone is at fault for the emotional “trauma” these children are experiencing, is it not the Chick Little climate alarmists? People like Al Gore and Greta Thunberg have often literally screamed their apocalyptic vision of a near future world where the oceans rise and the earth burns. How many times have these charlatans claimed that earth will end in X number of years if we don’t immediately stop carbon emissions, only for the date to come and go without even a hint of remorse for the deceit they’ve peddled? And how many children suffer despair and anxiety because they’re repeatedly warned the world is ending?
The increasing prevalence of satanic groups is indicative of serious changes in American culture.
Samantha Koch
It’s not a secret that there has been a relentless effort to remove God from society over the last several decades.
Those behind this movement also have little respect or use for the Constitution when it comes to the right to keep and bear arms, the right to life, or the right to speak freely or openly practice your religion if that religious expression involves praising God and Jesus Christ. However, when they want to allow your young child to access sexually explicit books in school, or have a drag queen perform on stage for toddlers at a night club, then the Constitution suddenly becomes useful in the protection of their “rights.”
The logic seems to be that when there is a push to promote ideas and beliefs that are good, moral, uplifting for children, and represent the Judeo-Christian values upon which America was founded, openly sharing these ideas is an infringement on free speech for children and families who do not believe in God. However, when there is a push to promote depraved, destructive, and amoral ideas and beliefs, it is an infringement on free speech for those who feel they should be able to openly express themselves and their love for degeneracy.
Heads, they win; tails, you lose.
Among those who cite America’s founding principles, solely when it benefits their agenda, is the Satanic Temple.
Though the organization’s website claims its mission statement is “to encourage benevolence and empathy, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practical common sense, oppose injustice, and undertake noble pursuits,” the group actively campaigns for causes that carry out child sacrifice.
Members involve themselves in pro-abortion laws that secure this procedure at any stage for any reason, referring to it as a “Satanic Abortion Ritual” that should therefore be protected under religious liberty. They conduct fundraisers for “gender-affirming care” for minors, using donations to cover the costs for youth who want to surgically mutilate their bodies and permanently sterilize themselves.
Based on their definition of “rights,” the Satanic Temple began offering After School Satan Clubs in 2020, insisting that these clubs should be allowed as an option for students in primary and high school as an alternative to other religious clubs that are available to them.
Unfortunately, with the removal of God from society, there has been a void left in people’s minds, hearts, and homes as they search for a sense of purpose. It has created the perfect opportunity for an organization such as the Satanic Temple to step in and fill that void.
The growing popularity of these clubs has been a testament to the fact that people, particularly kids and young teens, are looking for meaning and direction that hasn’t been firmly established in their homes. After a largely positive reception by the public in 2020, After School Satan Club campaign director June Everett said in May 2023, “I anticipate that every year moving forward is going to get busier and busier.”
The question is this: What are they offering children?
A flyer advertising an upcoming event in Lancaster, California, asked kids to join them for “arts & crafts, science experiments, live demos and displays, and refreshments.” However, as stated in the New York Post, S.T. cofounder Lucien Greaves wanted to reassure parents and nervous community members that they are not actively trying to convert kids or have them identify as satanists.
They’re not actively discouraging it, either.
There are plenty of clubs that children could be a part of that do not focus on any kind of central figure. There are science clubs that do not worship Bill Nye and drama clubs that do not yell “Hail Andrew Lloyd Weber” in the streets.
It is a predatory and deceptive tactic to draw children into a club with activities that the organizers know will be of interest to a particular age group. All the while, they insist that they’re not trying to change kids’ minds and values. Yet they know the belief system at the core of their interactions with kids will be present and influential.
Under the best of circumstances, a movement trying to normalize more of the destructive and chaotic ideas that are thrusting kids and teens into the throws of depression, anxiety, and confusion would not be benign or harmless to impressionable and vulnerable young minds.
However, as today’s youth are more lost than ever and are constantly bombarded with messages of hate for everything from their country to their very identity, clubs that are centered on the most well-known symbol of chaos and destruction are inevitably going to have more of a devastating impact than ever.
Deception is necessary and the harm is intentional. For tyrants and dictators, “In God We Trust” steers their potential subordinates toward something that gives them strength to stand up to their pernicious objectives.
“In Satan we trust” will prepare the next generation to be perfect servants of authoritarians as heinous practices are normalized, moral boundaries are obliterated, and the sense of potential power and influence for good that God instills in us is erased.

By now, everyone that’s paying attention has come to the same conclusion about the war in the Ukraine: Russian forces have the decisive upper hand, and if Kiev doesn’t sue for peace soon, the likelihood is that it will lose even more of its territory – may even cease do exist.
This is a hard truth for the Western apparatus, but it has steadily been gaining ground, as the hyped counteroffensive has not yielded any gains, and the military capabilities of NATO countries begin to get overextended with the looming possibility of conflict in Taiwan, in Korea, in Africa…
And so it happened that a top NATO advisor revealed a bit too much of what was in his mind, strayed from the official narrative, and was forced to dial down his comments and apologize.
“NATO official Stian Jenssen on Wednesday said comments he made the previous day regarding Ukraine ceding land in order to gain membership in the military alliance were a ‘mistake’.
Jenssen said during a panel debate in Arendal, Norway, “I think that a solution could be for Ukraine to give up territory, and get NATO membership in return,” Norwegian newspaper VG reported Tuesday. He also said it was up to Ukraine to decide when and on what terms it negotiates.
He told VG in a follow-up interview Wednesday, ‘My statement about this was part of a larger discussion about possible future scenarios in Ukraine, and I shouldn’t have said it that way. It was a mistake’.”
This amount of truth was bound to cause a commotion in Kiev. Presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak, in a very Ukrainian way, called the whole concept of giving up territory for NATO membership ‘ridiculous’.
“But Jenssen did not walk back the idea that a land-for-Nato-membership deal could ultimately be on the table. If there were serious peace negotiations then the military situation at the time, including who controls what territory, ‘will necessarily have a decisive influence’, the chief of staff said.
‘Precisely for this reason, it is crucially important that we support the Ukrainians with what they need’, the official continued as he sought to emphasize that Nato members remained behind Ukraine.”
Kyiv says any land-for-Nato deal ‘would reward Russian aggression’, but that’s exactly what will happen sooner or later.
Ukraine has called for ‘a restoration of its internationally recognized pre-2014 borders’, which would include, besides the newly annexed Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhie and Kherson, also the Crimean peninsula. With the present situation on the ground, that’s not a feasible option at all.
“Jenssen was careful in his initial comments to stress that he was simply airing an idea and that ‘it must be up to Ukraine to decide when and on what terms they want to negotiate’, reflecting Nato’s position that no peace settlement with Ukraine should be agreed without Ukraine.
But this was not enough for Kyiv, unhappy that Jenssen, an important figure and close ally of Stoltenberg, was even discussing the proposition in public.”

House Oversight Committee James Comer on Wednesday dropped a list of pseudonyms Biden used as Vice-president and formally requested the National Archives to hand over all un-redacted records of Biden using them.
🚨 BREAKING 🚨@RepJamesComer is requesting all unredacted documents and communications from @USNatArchives in which:
▪️Then-VP Joe Biden used a pseudonym
▪️Hunter Biden, Eric Schwerin, or Devon Archer is copied
Biden used the email address “Robert.L.Peters@pci.gov” while Barack Obama’s sidekick and that his aide John Flynn cc’d Hunter on 10 emails containing Joe’s schedule between May 18 and June 15, 2016.
He also used “Robin Ware” and “JRB Ware” while “working” as vice-president.
In addition to the pseudonyms, Comer wants records in which Hunter, Eric Schwerin, or Devon Archer were copied and drafts of Joe’s speech to the Ukrainian Parliament in December 2015.
Comer released the following statement explaining his reason for the National Archives request:
Joe Biden has stated there was ‘an absolute wall’ between his family’s foreign business schemes and his duties as Vice President, but evidence reveals that access was wide open for his family’s influence peddling.
We already have evidence of then-Vice President Biden speaking, dining, and having coffee with his son’s foreign business associates.
We also know that Hunter Biden and his associates were informed of then-Vice President Biden’s official government duties in countries where they had a financial interest. The National Archives must provide these unredacted records to further our investigation into the Biden family’s corruption.
CAMP DAVID — With mortgage interest rates continuing to climb and home ownership increasingly out of reach for many Americans, President Joe Biden offered insightful financial advice to anyone struggling to buy a house in the current economic climate, suggesting they simply set up 20 shell companies and begin laundering money from the Chinese government.
“It worked great for, uh, a guy I know,” Biden said as he relaxed at the presidential retreat at Camp David before traveling to Lake Tahoe for a relaxing weekend vacation. “Here’s the deal. No American should be on the brink of living in poverty when there are millions of dollars just waiting to be made by accepting bribes from foreign governments like China and Ukraine.”
Skyrocketing real estate prices combined with rising interest rates have created a challenging housing market the likes of which the United States has never seen, leaving millions of Americans trying to catch up. “These house prices are insane,” said concerned citizen Chris Wilson. “I knew I’d need to work hard to get enough money to buy a house, but I didn’t expect to have to win the Powerball to make it happen.”
When asked what individuals and young families can do to ease their financial burdens enough to become homeowners, Biden explained how simple the process of making money has been for his family. “Listen up, folks. Just get yourself elected to public office,” he explained. “Then, start selling influence and favors to really bad people, here and abroad. You and your kids will be rich in no time. Tragarbinzarfinader!”
At publishing time, Biden had requested that his trip to Maui next week be changed to visit one of the “non-burned” Hawaiian islands.

Is the idea of “The Great Reset” merely a conspiracy theory? That seems unlikely given the fact that if you type in those three words in a search engine, you will find more than 900 million hits.
Last year the founder of the World Economic Forum co-authored and published a book called COVID-19: The Great Reset. The authors see the current situation in the world as a means of dealing with the “weaknesses of capitalism” supposedly exposed during the pandemic.
But to understand the history of “The Great Reset,” you need to go back to 2010 when urban studies scholar Richard Florida wrote a book with that title. He argued that the 2008 economic crash was the latest in a series of great resets that included the Great Depression of the 1930s. A few years later, the book and its ideas became the basis for wanting to “push the reset button” on the world economies.
Today, it is probably fair to say that the phrase “The Great Reset” means different things to different people. Environmental groups want to reset how we use resources and focus on sustainability. Business leaders want banks and corporations to use an ESG index (environmental, social, and governance index). Globalists want to reset the economy and move us toward what has been called “stakeholder capitalism,” or what others have called “communist capitalism.”
Critics talk about some of the other factors associated with “The Great Reset.” That would include such things as the promotion of uncontrolled immigration along with significant money printing. That results in problems like open borders and uncontrolled inflation.
The phrase “The Great Reset” may mean different things to different people. And as you can see, some of the ideas associated with it are bad for our country and us.
