There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
In the first part of this series, we looked at some of the ways that security in Christ can cure our feelings of insecurity. In this second part, we consider how security in Christ leads to a magnanimous spirit.
Saved, Secure, and Satisfied in All Situations
To experience true security and lay our insecurities to rest, our individualistic attitudes need to be put to death. Celebrity culture has taught us to long for the fame, and therefore the status, that celebrities possess in the 21st century. Rather than turning from a love of money, we have been taught by the world to lust for the biggest and best things this world has to offer. Rather than being content with what the Lord has graciously given us, we have been taught to constantly want more and more. Enough is never really enough in the 21st century. The goal is not merely to “keep up with Joneses.” Now, the goal is to surpass everyone, everywhere, so that there is no equal. And rather than being content in the security we have in Christ, we are taught to anxiously worry that, one day, all we have will be taken from us when someone better comes along.
Scripture teaches instead that, in Christ, we are secure and have all we need. For the Christian, success is not having the most amount of stuff, the most followers, likes, or retweets, or the most influence. Christian success isn’t even being the best. Success for the Christian is simply being faithful to what the Lord has commanded within his Word. The one who faithfully follows Jesus wherever he leads is successful, even if it doesn’t tangibly look like what the world has taught us to expect. And, since we are utterly, completely, and totally secure in Christ, we never need to be insecure when we see the tangible and measurable success of others. This means we can look at the faithful ministry of the rural church pastor, with less than twenty members in his congregation, with as much joy and applause as we look upon the biblically Reformed church with thousands of members. We can look at our own lives lived faithfully as successful, too, and find great joy in them.
As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. (Psalm 17:15)
The portion of other men fills their bodies and enriches their children, but the portion of the believer is of another sort. Men of the world have their treasure in this world, but men of the world to come look higher and further.
Our possession is twofold. We have God’s presence here and His like-ness hereafter Here we behold the face of the Lord in righteousness, for we are justified in Christ Jesus. Oh, the joy of beholding the face of a reconciled God! The glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ yields us heaven below, and it will be to us the heaven of heaven above.
But seeing does not end it: we are to be changed into that which we gaze upon. We shall sleep a while and then wake up to find ourselves as mirrors which reflect the beauties of our Lord. Faith sees God with a transforming look. The heart receives the image of Jesus into its own depths, till the character of Jesus is imprinted on the soul. This is satisfaction. To see God and to be like Him-what more can I desire? David’s assured confidence is here by the Holy Ghost made to be the Lord’s promise. I believe it. I expect it. Lord, vouchsafe it. Amen.

I’m never going to be an astronaut, an Olympic sprinter, or a world-famous artist. Even if I pushed aside all distractions and spent the rest of my life pursuing those goals, it would be impossible to chart a path to success. No amount of desire and effort would be enough to get me there—even apart from the unstoppable march of time, I simply lack the capacity.

Sun-observing spacecraft sheds light on the solar wind’s origin The solar wind is a ubiquitous feature of our solar system. This relentless high-speed flow of charged particles from the sun fills interplanetary space. On Earth, it triggers geomagnetic storms that can disrupt satellites and it causes the dazzling auroras – the northern and southern lights – at high latitudes. But precisely how the sun generates the solar wind has remained unclear. New observations by the Solar Orbiter spacecraft may provide an answer.

Controversial And Decidedly Non-Christian AI App Called ‘Text With Jesus’ Depicts Satan As A ‘Champion Of Love, Respect And Understanding’, Stay Away! One of the greatest evils to rise up in our technology-saturated time in which we live is AI, otherwise known as artificial intelligence, and Elon Musk was quite correct when he said that using it would be akin to ‘summoning the demon’. A new smart phone app called ‘Text With Jesus’, built on AI, allows you to have a ‘text conversation with Jesus’, and if you so desire, with Satan himself. But this is, obviously, not the Jesus of the Bible, and it is also obviously not the Satan of the Bible, either. The Satan on this app prepares you to receive Antichrist if you miss the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church.
COVID Mask Mandates Are Starting To Reemerge As Government Insiders Begin Whisper Campaign Of New Lockdowns And Restrictions In September Mandatory mask mandates and enforced lockdowns were so well accepted by the majority of the American population that some of these things appear to be coming back right now. Major Hollywood studios, Big Pharma health conglomerates, colleges and universities are beginning to require people start masking up again. Over on InfoWars, they are claiming they have ‘inside information’ that the Biden administration is planning on bringing back full COVID restrictions in September. Will that happen? I don’t know. But a better question would be to ask if such a thing were possible, and the answer to that is a resounding yes.
CJ Hopkins has been given a choice of jail time or a fine for two tweets and a book cover American satirist and playwright C.J. Hopkins has been sent a “punishment order” and a choice: 60 days or 3,600 Euros. What is his crime? WHO’s Pandemic Treaty should be called the Proliferation of Biological Weapons Treaty Dr. Meryl Nass has written a report designed to help us think about some big topics: how to really prevent pandemics and biological warfare, how to assess proposals by the WHO and its members for responding to pandemics, and whether we can rely on our health officials to navigate these areas in ways that make sense and will help their populations. “These are important issues for all of humanity, and I encourage everyone to pay attention to them, think about them, and become part of this very important conversation,” she said.

Trump-haters are giddy about the booking of the former president, but they’d best be careful what they wished for.
Douglas Andrews
After all these years, the Ahabian Democrats got their white whale.
Or did they?
Yes, President Donald Trump turned himself in to authorities last night at the Fulton County Jail for booking in the criminal case coordinated by brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith District Attorney Fani Willis, thus becoming the first American president ever to submit to a mug shot. And, yes, he thereby gave the Trump-haters what they’ve been drooling for ever since he whipped them in 2016.
“They insisted on a mug shot, and I agreed to do that,” said Trump. “It is not a comfortable feeling — especially when you’ve done nothing wrong.”
The Trump-haters no doubt loved it, but they might want to be careful what they’ve clamored for. Because Donald Trump’s mug shot is the scowl that launched a million shirts.
A quick trip to the MAGA store confirms just this. Team Trump has already seized the marketing moment and turned this ostensible setback into a fundraising bonanza. Brand new “NEVER SURRENDER” T-shirts, coffee mugs, beverage coolers, and car stickers are all available for purchase. And can baby onesies and cornhole boards be far behind?
As an indication of just how petty the Trump-deranged Democrats (but we repeat ourselves) are, they’re now incensed about some of Trump’s booking statistics. He’s not 6’3″, and he’s definitely not 215 pounds! they shrieked.
As it turns out, Team Svelte Trump submitted these stats in advance of his booking in order to speed up the process. And it worked: Trump was in and out of jail last night in around 15 minutes. Here again, Trump is teeing up the football. And here again, the Democrats are Charlie Brown.
Yes, Democrats, be careful what you wished for. Because if any mug shot could ever cut both ways, it’d be this one. What Democrats see as the bagging of Le Bête Orange, Trump’s legions see as the ultimate rallying cry and the symbol of the endless persecution of the nation’s 45th president.
And perhaps, somewhere in the middle, folks who don’t tend to fixate on politics might see this as the straw that broke their centrist backs. Oh, sure, as American Majority founder Ned Ryun told Sean Hannity last night, “The low-information chardonnay sippers in the suburbs next fall are going to think, ‘Well, he must’ve been guilty of something.’” But perhaps even more of them will look at the oddity of four indictments conveniently coming down the pike in rapid-fire succession a full 30 months after Trump left office and just in time for the 2024 presidential campaign. And perhaps they’ll see the 91 felony counts against a former president and the potential punishment of 700 years in prison as, oh, a bit excessive.
Perhaps.
Just like a Rorschach test, Americans are increasingly viewing their politics in black and white. Donald Trump’s mug shot is no exception.
As for the architect of that mug shot, Fulton County DA Fani Willis might soon have some ‘splaining to do regarding her indictment of Trump for the non-crime of objecting to a presidential election. She’s deeply political and demonstrably hard-left, and she’s refusing to answer whether she’s been coordinating with Special Counsel Jack Smith, the federal prosecutor overseeing the probes into Trump’s actions around the events of January 6 and his alleged mishandling of government records at his Mar-a-Lago estate. We mention all this because such coordination would be a serious no-no. As the Washington Examiner reports:
The House Judiciary Committee is launching an investigation into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, demanding the prosecutor turn over key information detailing the criminal indictment of former President Donald Trump over his efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
In a letter sent by Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) on Thursday, the committee leader accused Willis of using the 41-count indictment to interfere with the presidential election, of which Trump is the current GOP front-runner. The request for information comes just hours before Trump is expected to surrender himself to Fulton County officials for his arraignment in the case.
As Jordan’s letter notes: “News outlets have reported that your office and Mr. Smith ‘interviewed many of the same witnesses and reviewed much of the same evidence’ in reaching your decision to indict President Trump. The House Committee on the Judiciary … thus may investigate whether federal law enforcement agencies or officials were involved in your investigation or indictment.”
Additionally, Jordan cites Willis’s purported launch of a new campaign fundraising site “that highlighted [her] investigation into President Trump” several days before her office indicted him. How’s that for blind justice?
“We cannot,” said Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, “turn into a banana republic, where the party in power uses police force to indict and arrest its political opponents in the middle of an election. That is not how we do it in the United States of America.”
In Joe Biden’s America it is, and fair-minded Americans of every political stripe should resoundingly reject it come next November.
The New York Times almost committed actual journalism in a report about “transgender” kids.
Nate Jackson
At least The New York Times didn’t wait a year and a half like the “newspaper of record” did to confirm that Hunter Biden’s laptop was real.
On February 9, 2023, a whistleblower named Jamie Reed wrote an op-ed for The Free Press — founded by New York Times refugee Bari Weiss to allow for real journalism — to tell the world about some of the horrific abuse being perpetrated on kids she thought she was “saving” in her work at a gender clinic at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. We covered it the next day.
The Times? Meh, we’ll get around to it in six months.
Journalism takes time, we suppose. But so does thorough partisan hackery.
Reed introduced herself in February as “a queer woman, and politically to the left of Bernie Sanders,” and she’s married to a “transgender man.” She left the clinic because instead of helping people, she and her fellow workers were “permanently harming the vulnerable patients in our care.” The big news is that the Times confirmed most of the things Reed alleged, though maintaining, “It’s clear the St. Louis clinic benefited many adolescents.”
The Times quoted an email sent by one nurse at the clinic, who was concerned that “no one is ever told no.” That right there is one of the foundational problems in the entire trans movement.
The Times notes that it’s not clear whether the treatment being offered to virtually every patient was right, even by leftist standards. “As demand rose, more patients arrived with complex mental health issues,” the report said. “The clinic’s staff often grappled with how best to help, documents show, bringing into sharp relief a tension in the field over whether some children’s gender distress is the root cause of their mental health problems, or possibly a transient consequence of them.”
In fact: “Doctors prescribed hormones to patients who had obtained [quick] approvals, even adolescents whose medical histories raised red flags. Some of these patients later stopped identifying as transgender, and received little to no support from the clinic after doing so.”
That’s because this social contagion is only allowed to go one direction.
Unfortunately, Reed never mentioned money as a motivator for the burgeoning “transgender” industry, and the word “money” doesn’t show up in the Times exposé either. But make no mistake: Money is a primary driver of this butchery. Ideological bankruptcy notwithstanding, doctors, clinics, and other snake-oil peddlers rake in enormous piles of money by creating lifelong patients who continue needing round after round of “affirming care.”
Reed also took her allegations to Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, who opened an investigation of the clinic. The Times says, “Missouri’s ban of gender care for minors will begin on Aug. 28.” Apparently, that was all the Times needed to utterly twist the story. Its headline says it: “How a Small Gender Clinic Landed in a Political Storm.”
Uh, maybe by butchering kids to cash in on an ideological cult?
Essentially, while the Times admits that nearly all of what Reed charged was correct, most of its article is dedicated to talking about the “unrelenting surge in demand” of young people struggling immensely with their need for “affirming care.”
“Opened in 2017 inside a children’s hospital affiliated with Washington University in St. Louis, the prestigious clinic was welcomed by many families as a godsend,” the Times gushes. “It was the only place for hundreds of miles where distressed adolescents could see a team of experts to help them transition to a different gender.”
In other words, mistakes were made, but it’s just because the clinic was understaffed and the intrepid clinic workers were just so “overwhelmed” by the need for their services, “all while facing intense political pressure and an adolescent mental health crisis.”
Speaking of that crisis, the Times expresses practically no curiosity while reporting this nugget:
Their patients were part of a striking generational change: Between 2017 and 2020, about 1.4 percent of 13- to 17-year-olds in the United States identified as transgender, nearly double the rate from a few years earlier.
On the same day of the Times report, the American Medical Association’s JAMA Network Open published findings about the frequency of such “treatments.” Among those findings is the fact that gender surgeries in the U.S. tripled between 2016 and 2019, going from 4,500 procedures to 13,000. Fewer than 1,200 were minors, but that’s 1,200 too many.
Isn’t it odd that there’s been a sudden explosion of young people, especially girls, claiming to be “transgender”? Why, it’s almost like it’s a social contagion caused by social media and that aforementioned ideological cult. In any case, the Times shrugs and moves on.
Thanks to Reed and others who know that this is a plague of abuse, more states and even members of Congress are working to end it.
FEMA disaster training irony, Biden is losing non-white males, Disney fleeced taxpayers, and more.
Thomas Gallatin & Jordan Candler
Cross-Examination
FEMA disaster training irony: While the wildfire on the island of Maui was beginning to spread, Maui’s top emergency management officials were on another Hawaiian island, Oahu, at an annual FEMA disaster training meeting. Furthermore, after these officials were alerted to the wildfire, they waited five hours before finally responding to the situation. Among those officials was Herman Andaya, who infamously decided against sounding emergency sirens on Maui, defending the decision by claiming that doing so would not have saved anyone. Survivors dispute Andaya’s claim, contending that if people had just 10 or 15 minutes more warning, then more of them would have gotten to safety. With at least 115 people dead and almost 400 still missing, Andaya’s excuse appears dubious. Andaya has since resigned, but questions have been raised as to why he was hired to the position of emergency management administrator in the first place. Andaya had no background in emergency response, and 40 other people with greater qualification and experience were passed over for the position when he was appointed back in 2017.
Biden and exploited migrant minors: Joe Biden’s Department of Labor is under investigation by the department’s Office of Inspector General over reports of a potential illegal child labor scandal. The IG is probing whether thousands of unaccompanied minors the Biden administration has released into the country are being used for forced labor. Back in June, Senator Josh Hawley highlighted Biden’s failure to secure the southern border: “This administration has let tens of thousands of children be sold into slavery. They are doing nothing about it.” According to Bloomberg: “Agency officials said in July that over the past 10 months alone, the DOL’s wage division has concluded 765 cases involving 4,474 children employed in violation of federal child labor laws. Overall, the department reported that it’s seen a 69% increase child labor violations from 2018 and 2022.” This is just one of the many devastating consequences of Biden’s border malfeasance.
Biden is losing non-white males: Folks across the country aren’t happy living in Joe Biden’s America. Bidenflation has made everyone poorer, and his administration’s attempt to gaslight the public with “Bidenomics” — the claim that the economy is do well and getting better — isn’t working. Evidence of this is seen in the number of Americans who are pessimistic about the future. In fact, Politico recently reported that this pessimism toward Biden is growing fast among a usually strong Democrat constituency: men of color. Non-white men have soured on Biden, which is bad news for his 2024 reelection bid. While the majority of this constituency hasn’t jumped ship and joined the GOP, they are not interested in casting a vote for Biden.
Over half of imprisoned “transgenders” are there for sex crimes: A recent investigation conducted by The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project into the state of Wisconsin’s corrections records found that over half of male prisoners who self-identify as “transgender” women were convicted for sexual assault or sexual abuse crimes. At issue is whether Wisconsin is obliging transfer requests from these male prisoners, which as of April 2022 numbered 161, to be moved into female prison facilities. “Men belong with men and men only in prison,” stated Oversight Project Director Mike Howell. “Putting sex offender men claiming to be women in cells with women is another reason the world laughs at America’s moral decline. Prison is for punishment, not degenerate sexual behavior.” Exactly.
Disney fleeced FL taxpayers: Disney’s decision to cross swords with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the state’s Republican-led legislature has not only cost the company its sweetheart self-governance deal, the Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID), but it has also served to expose the Magic Kingdom for being more full of ugly step sisters than Cinderellas. According to a recent report from the Central Florida Tourism District (CFTOD) that replaced the RCID: “For decades, the former Disney-run RCID used taxpayer funds to provide season passes and amusement experiences to its employees and their family members, cover the cost of discounts on hotels, merchandise, food, and beverages, and give its own board members VIP Main Entrance passes. In 2022 alone, it cost taxpayers over $2.5 million.” Upon discovering this scheme, the CFTOD board immediately “set in motion plans to eliminate it.” No more special perks on the taxpayers’ dime.

Yes, thanks to the spending binge of Biden and the Democrats, inflation is making everything more expensive. To put it simply, whenever the government prints money it doesn’t have, the value of the dollar decreases. And while our money loses its purchasing power, prices of goods and services increase. Unsurprisingly, we’ve watched prices rising steadily in the grocery aisles, on the car lot, and in the real estate market.
This is certainly bad news not only for home buyers but also for those stuck with a home that’s too expensive to sell.
“Higher mortgage rates exacerbate the supply situation,” reports CNBC. “Current homeowners are reluctant to list their homes for sale because the vast majority of them have rates around or below 3%. To move to another home would mean more than doubling that rate. It has created what is now being called ‘golden handcuffs’ among potential sellers.”
CNBC adds: “The average on the 30-year fixed last year at this time was around 5.5%. For someone buying a $400,000 home, with 20% down on a 30-year fixed loan, the monthly payment today, with principal and interest, is roughly $420 more than it would have been a year ago.”
It’s no wonder that many who purchased a home in 2023 already wish they hadn’t. According to one report, more than half of Americans think it’s a bad time to sell and a bad time to buy a home. Even worse, since 2022 the percentage of home buyers who regret their purchase has risen from 72% to 93%, with 62% of recent homebuyers struggling to make their mortgage payments.
“Even prior to this recent surge in mortgage rates,” reports Fortune, “housing affordability, as monitored by the Atlanta Fed, had already deteriorated beyond the levels seen at the housing bubble’s peak in 2006. Once this latest mortgage rate surge is factored in, August 2023 will become the worst month for housing affordability this century.”
But how did we get to this point? According to Fortune: “The journey to this predicament can be traced back to last year’s sharp rise in mortgage rates, which escalated from 3% to over 7%. That rate surge, coupled with the Pandemic Housing Boom pushing U.S. home prices up over 40% in just over two years, deteriorated housing affordability (or better put the lack thereof) across the nation.”
And it gets worse.
As Fox Business reports, “On top of high mortgages, there’s also a nationwide housing supply crunch: sales of previously owned homes tumbled 2.2% in July, while the National Association of Home Builders reported new home construction sentiment dropped six points in August.”
As proof that history repeats itself, we’re also making some of the same mistakes that led to the 2008 market crash. Some of these mistakes are intentional, too — such as the Biden administration forcing potential home buyers with higher credit scores to pay more for financing a home in order to shuffle money to those with poor credit scores. Hey, what could go wrong?
“Progressives claim these rules need to be altered so those who have historically had a harder time breaking into the housing market can get a shot,” write Edward Pinto and Tobias Peter of The Wall Street Journal. “This approach has backfired. The last great credit expansion, done with the goal of expanding homeownership in the runup to the 2008 crisis, left some 14 million borrowers, many of them minorities, seriously behind on their mortgages as home prices crashed by more than 25%.”
For those who claim that the overall numbers for home sales in the past few years aren’t bad at all, that’s in part because real estate investors and corporations are buying up homes and turning them into rentals to take advantage of soaring rental rates.
Right now, the news isn’t good for those who want to buy or sell a home, but let’s hope the 2024 election brings about new leadership that fixes the economy and prevents a housing crash and another Great Recession like we saw in 2008. That’s a history none of us want to see repeated.
It would be nice if journalists could be humble enough to let the process play out throughout this year without slamming the fast-forward button.

The first Republican presidential debate was feisty and substantive. Fox News overwhelmingly focused on policy issues that voters care about. A debate was seriously overdue; the television networks have shut out coverage of policy issues like they are protecting the public from a deadly plague.
Even so, the same journalists who uncork grand proclamations about how democracy is precious seem to suggest this debate was a waste of time. Former President Donald Trump is so far ahead in very premature polling, why bother? This neatly lines up with Team Trump’s talking points.
Take USA Today’s Susan Page, claiming, “It was as though most of the other contenders were living in an alternative universe, one in which Trump didn’t command a lead of more than 40 percentage points in the Republican race,” meaning the RealClearPolitics average of national polls.
An alternative universe? As if pretending there were no other contenders doesn’t sound like an alternative universe?
On ABC, Jonathan Karl similarly summarized the candidate event: “We got to see a world, maybe it’s a fantasy land. We got to see a world where Donald Trump was not a candidate, for a moment.” Karl said it was a lively and substantive debate, but a fantasy: “And then you realize, we don’t live in that world.”
On CBS, John Dickerson asserted the debate “felt like a job interview in which there is already an internal candidate. … In other words, the interviews take place, all the motions are gone through, but the person’s already been picked.”
Journalists are saying the quiet part out loud. But that’s simply not true. In the NBC/Des Moines Register poll of Iowa voters, 52% of likely GOP caucusgoers have a first choice for president and say they could still be persuaded to support a different candidate. In other words, the incumbent may have the upper hand, but there’s a lot of room for debates.
Trump is leading Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in that NBC poll by 42% to 19%. Eight years ago, a CNN poll in mid-August showed Trump leading former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush by 24% to 13%.
If journalists really cared about democracy and voting, they wouldn’t be so mercilessly quick to declare everyone except Trump is toast. If they all think Trump is “dangerous for democracy,” as “CBS Mornings” co-host Tony Dokoupil insisted to Nikki Haley, why do they sound like debates (with or without Trump) are beside the point?
All this premature speculation feels like NFL football writers deciding who has won the Super Bowl before the preseason is over. If journalists actually respected the will of the people, they would wait and let the actual primary elections happen before they imply the primary elections are pointless.
In a New York Times podcast on the “sputtering” DeSantis campaign before the debate, reporter Shane Goldmacher interviewed voters and seemed a bit surprised: “A lot of these people were just barely beginning their understanding of these candidates. And a lot of them were just interested in learning more. I mean, the thing about talking to voters at this stage of a race is you’re reminded how early it is.”
Debate season is when voters are just starting to pay attention, and the “pro-democracy” press is suggesting it’s a “fantasyland” that these people might form an opinion outside the current “wisdom.”
Maybe Trump’s indictment-enhanced advantage will remain. But it would be nice if journalists could be humble enough to let the process play out throughout this year without slamming the fast-forward button.
How moral relativism, technology, and lockdowns have shaped the behavior of our culture.
Emmy Griffin
No rules, no right and wrong, live your truth, the “me generation”: these are all apt descriptions of our modern culture’s moral values. Moral relativism along with the infiltration of technology and the boredom of the COVID lockdowns have metastasized into a genuinely heartless generation.
The motto of the era is “you do you,” and that is leading to all sorts of chaos. As Federalist writer Maureen Mullarkey points out, we can mark our own cultural decline by the influx of amoral celebrities as the leaders of public voices and by the lack of public intellectuals.
She also throws out this disturbing stat: “The word ‘influencer’ is no longer an ordinary noun; it has become a career goal. To some 26 percent of today’s young people, it eclipses occupational choices that require training and formal qualifications like a college degree. The thrill of online affirmation, measured in followers, crowds out time-honored pride in useful work.”
Mullarkey accurately traces the start of this descent into cultural decline with the advent of screens. When this writer was training to be an elementary school teacher, it was common knowledge that screens, particularly personal screens like phones and tablets, were not good for children’s brain development. The overstimulation of the blue light alone is rewiring their brains. Now, though, it’s not talked about as much because there is a big push in education and really in all spheres of life to modernize with personal screens.
But alas, it is a Faustian bargain, and the trade-off of books for screens is taking its terrible toll.
Besides the warped world of life on screens and through social media, another disturbing aspect appears through our modern notion of dating and relationships. There is the whole kerfuffle of online dating that is more often used for a one-night stand than for finding a serious long-term relationship.
Part of the problem goes back to the moral relativism so celebrated in our culture. It prohibits more serious people from feeling like they can be honest about what they want. It manipulates both men and women into settling for a lifestyle that they really don’t want but culture says they should celebrate (hookup culture, ghosting, living with someone before marriage, and other risky behaviors).
No one is happy in the long term, and everyone pursing this is ultimately so lonely. The lack of taking love and relationships seriously is another factor messing with this foolish generation.
Podcaster Matt Walsh in a show this week addressed another interesting aspect that has been exacerbated by the lockdowns: the lack of etiquette people show during performances.
During the COVID pandemic, people got used to doing everything for their social media accounts, including all sorts of behavior that, in a kinder time, would have gotten them kicked out or arrested. These range from the rude (scrolling on their phones during a performance or movie) to disruptive (throwing things at performers on stage). These people are so addicted to their screens and so addicted to propping up their own social media profile that they are willing to do just about anything for clicks.
No such thing as bad publicity, right? Wrong.
The attitude of self-centeredness is not unique to our generation, though the technology certainly is. There is nothing new under the sun. In the Bible, the book of Judges cites over and over again the struggles that God’s chosen people had with following him. They were constantly doing “what was right in their own eyes.” Pastor John MacArthur called this period of Bible history “an age of absolute moral chaos.”
Our foolish generation must abandon moral relativism — which enables and glorifies all atrocity and evil — lest they follow it to its logical, disastrous conclusion. The cure in Judges was total repentance and turning back toward God. That is also the cure for today’s moral decay. Let’s pray that miracle happens.

Thousands of illegal immigrants are simply walking over the border into the U.S. after the federal government decided to leave the gates wide open, saying that there is a risk of floods and resulting environmental hazards.
The New York Post reports“The US Border Patrol has now admitted it’s responsible for the decision to leave giant flood gates in the border wall wide open — giving thousands of illegal immigrants an easy opportunity to stream into Arizona.”
The report notes that “Border Patrol agents, acting on superiors’ orders, welded some 114 gates open to stop anyone from closing them — which the agents had repeatedly been doing in a bid to stop people from being able to cross the border.”
The CBP claims that “High water flow combined with excessive sediment and debris buildup can stress or comprise the design integrity of the barrier,” and therefore they have literally left the border wide open.
As a result, cartels are taking migrants by the busload and just dropping them off so they can walk into the country:
Brandon Judd, the president of the national Border Patrol union is enraged, stating that “Those gates should never be open,” adding “In my opinion and in the Border Patrol agent’s opinion, those gates should never come open.”
“We thought the agents were going to tell us something,” one Ecuadorean migrant said. “But we just walked in.”
Said another from Cuba: “It was so easy to get into the U.S.”
“Nothing like our journey through Mexico. That part was hard,” she added. “I thought there was going to be more security.”

The undue influences on the 2020 presidential election already have been documented: Mark Zuckerberg’s $400 million handout to election officials who often used it to recruit leftist voters. And the FBI’s interference when it falsely told media groups to censor accurate reporting about the Biden family’s international business schemes because it was Russian disinformation, when it wasn’t.
But the rampage of COVID-19 across the country also had an impact. Voting rules were changed, vote-counting procedures changed. voting periods extended until sometimes weeks after election day and more.

Now that the 2024 election is coming into view, it seems that COVID is surging again.
“Mandates are coming back just in time for the 2024 election cycle,” conservative Collin Rugg posted online. “What impeccable timing!”
A report at Just the News noted Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk cited new COVID restrictions are “just in time for Democrats to reinforce the importance of mass mail-in ballots.”
“They’re coming back for round two,” said conservative figure Ian Miles Cheong on X, the new name for Twitter.
It was accompanied by a video of Anthony Fauci, formerly Joe Biden’s COVID adviser, defending pandemic lockdowns.

“I keep hearing whispers of COVID restrictions coming back,” said Congresswoman Lauren Boebert in the report.
And Kari Lake tweeted about the rumors, calling them the “Covid-19 Election Variant.”

The comments and criticism came in the aftermath of several organizations announcing new COVID mandates starting now.
Morris Brown College announced on Instagram that “effective immediately,” COVID-19 protocols including a mask mandate are in effect.
Even though there are no confirmed COVID-19 cases on campus.
Just the News reported CNN also was warning “protocols” may be needed for Americans with diabetes, cancer or other health complications. It listed social distancing, bans on “large gatherings,” isolation efforts, contact tracing and more.

Also, Lionsgate, a presence in Hollywood, called for an ongoing mask mandate.
Ironically, the mandates, from masks to lockdowns, appear to diverge from “the science.”
The report said, “Researchers writing for the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), the peer-reviewed journal of the National Academy of Sciences, found ‘no evidence’ in 2021 to suggest that the shelter-in-place orders yielded ‘substantial reductions’ in COVID-19 cases or deaths. A John Hopkins University study conducted last year also deemed lockdowns ‘ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument.'”
Radio host Dan Bongino said, “Only morons wear surgical masks as protection against a microscopic airborne virus.”
Roll up your sleeve and get another boost of Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) “vaccine.” This is the message coming from fake president Joe Biden ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
The “big guy” and his cabinet want all Americans to get yet another coronavirus booster shot before autumn arrives because another new “variant” of the Chinese disease is said to be circulating, or will after everyone gets boosted.
Its name is BA.2.86 – and actually there are several others called EG.5 and FL.1.5.1 that the fearmongering media wants you to be scared of so you will go rush out and get another injection.
Even though infections and hospital admissions remain low, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Biden regime is insistent that Americans sign up for the next jab as quickly as possible – at warp speed, even.
Government career criminal Tony Fauci says that Americans should be forced to take another booster, otherwise the Fauci Flu and its many variants and subvariants will continue to spread forever.
The Society of Actuaries Research Institute published a report in May warning about a “stunning” 34 percent increase in young people dying (ages 35-44). The report concluded that “COVID-19 claims do not fully explain the increase” and that something much more catastrophic is destroying people’s lives. This trend of excess mortality began in the third quarter of 2021 and has continued ever since.
The mainstream media, funded heavily by the pharmaceutical industry, used a running tally of COVID-19 victims in 2020 to promote lockdowns, mandates and various measures of medical tyranny and psychological abuse. Trying to appear compassionate and full of virtue, the mainstream media pushed “safety” measures that only caused more pain and suffering in the end.
Today, the mainstream media is silent on the issue of excess mortality. More people are dying in 2022 and 2023 across all age groups. The mainstream media is not pushing emergency declarations or keeping a tally of these deaths to push for any government intervention, investigation, or societal action. Excess mortality is occurring across all age groups, especially in the young and previously healthy population, and the talking heads in the mainstream media won’t even ask why.
ATLANTA, GA — In a moment that will go down in history books for generations to come, Georgia’s Fulton County has released an exclusive first official photograph of the 47th President of the United States, more than a full year before his 2024 election will even be held.
“This is the earliest an official portrait has ever been taken,” said presidential historian Dr. Blake Rumsey. “In some cases, it was widely known which candidate had the best chance of winning several months ahead of an election, but having full confirmation more than a year in advance is absolutely unheard of. Kudos to Fulton County and its district attorney, Fani Willis, for making history.”
Though ballots will not begin to be cast in next November’s presidential election until sometime in 2024, District Attorney Willis and the other leaders in Fulton County have officially confirmed the result. “We’re not even sure counting the votes will be necessary anymore,” one election official said after the photograph was released. “With an official photograph of the 47th president being made public, it’s a done deal. Congratulations to President Donald Trump!”
Behind closed doors, despite Republican leaders previously expressing doubt about the outcome of the election, citing questions about the integrity of the voting process, they were now grateful to D.A. Willis for wrapping up the election more than 14 months early. “Thank you, Fani Willis!” shouted one elated GOP strategist. “We couldn’t have done this so quickly without you!”
At publishing time, historians were already updating school textbooks to reflect the indispensable role Fani Willis played in the historic re-election of President Donald Trump.
It is super important to know your stuff when it comes to debating ultra-MAGA Republicans about guns.
The many ways that some movements have perverted the history and theology of Christ is a phenomenon that has perplexed many of us throughout history. At its root, this twisting of biblical truth typically stems from a desire to justify personal ideologies and lifestyles that stand in contrast to objective biblical morality. By reshaping Christ into a figure who aligns with contemporary political or social movements, many attempt to collectively deaden their consciences against their own sin and rebellion against God. They seek to create a “savior” who not only tolerates but endorses their worldviews, their lifestyles, and their selfish desires, thereby removing the sting of conviction and the demand for genuine repentance.
This twisting of God’s grace for personal gain is not merely a benign theological error but a significant spiritual deception with eternal consequences. It demonstrates a grave misunderstanding of who Christ is and what He came to accomplish, turning the Savior of mankind into a mere instrument for earthly gain.
Joe Biden is in Lake Tahoe on his umpteenth vacation. His son, Hunter, is there with him, although as we previously reported, they didn’t have him fly on Air Force One. He flew commercial and arrived there before Joe. Perhaps they thought that people then wouldn’t know he was on this vacation, but no such luck, it came out anyway.
How many times has he been vacationing with Joe lately as the family business scandal starts to encircle them? He also had two trips to Camp David with Joe. I’m sure they’re not discussing anything about the scandal because they never talk business.
However, before this, Joe would have had no problem taking Hunter aboard on Air Force One and Air Force Two, although sometimes, as we’ve also reported, he would reportedly go down the back stairs so he wouldn’t be spotted getting off the plane from the main staircase with his father. Then people might ask more questions about why he was there.
This was the norm, and we previously wrote about how Hunter went on at least eight Air Force Two flights with Joe including trips that involved Hunter talking about or doing business.
But there were even more than that. According to Fox, he “tagged along to at least 13 different countries” with then-VP Joe Biden, even “proposing setting up business calls or meetings while he was on those trips.”
FOX: Records show Hunter Biden “tagged along to at least 13 different countries” with then-VP Joe Biden, even “proposing setting up business calls or meetings while he was on those trips.” pic.twitter.com/7PU1WaCVXp
Jesse Watters — whose team was looking into the matter — said it was at least 15 at this point as they went through their records. He said that came from emails on the laptop, Secret Service records, and videos.
🚨BOMBSHELL: Leaked secret emails reveal Hunter Biden traveled with VP Joe Biden to 15 COUNTRIES on Air Force 2, Jessie Watters files FOIA request for Biden flight manifests pic.twitter.com/hspwu2pezU
Those trips included a trip to Croatia in 2015 “mixing Joe Biden’s business with pleasure,” and Kosovo (with a picture of Hunter looking like he’s throwing a tantrum). Watters said they were looking into what business might have done in Kosovo. Watters showed an email from Hunter to one of Hunter’s business associates, Vuk Jeremic in August 2016, Hunter is arranging to meet with him and even invites him to come with him in the motorcade to the airport. But sure, that’s not influence peddling. That must just be talking about the weather.
We’ve reported about Vuk Jeremic before. He was a CEFC consultant, a former Serbian foreign minister, and ex-president of the UN Nations General Assembly.
Hunter also was there when Biden went to Canada in 2010. We’ve already mentioned the trips to China, Japan, South Korea, and Italy. In addition to the questions about business, this also raises questions, beyond whether he was doing business, about Joe Biden constantly giving his family free trips to all these places on our dime.
Watters said that Hunter requested Secret Service protection in Egypt, South Africa, and Kenya — on the same dates his father flew there on Air Force Two in 2010.
So how can Democrats possibly defend this? To drive the point home, Watters interviewed a “former mobster” about what he did that was allegedly similar and he spoke about all the shell companies he had, similar to what has been alleged about the Bidens. Michael Franzese said that based on his experience, he thought it was a “slam dunk indictment,” based on everything that has been adduced so far. He said if all this had applied to him, he would have “been indicted long ago.”
A new piece from The Atlantic slammed both Hunter Biden for his foreign business dealings and his father President Joe Biden for acting like Hunter did nothing wrong. The article claimed both Bidens have been sanitizing and reinforcing a corrupt scheme.
Author Sarah Chayes published the piece Wednesday arguing that though there’s “no evidence” then-Vice President Joe Biden did anything illegal to serve his son’s overseas business interests, his denial of his son’s wrongdoing essentially served to support the behavior.
Chayes stated that one of the few ways President Biden can stop looking like someone laundering his son’s corruption is to stop saying Hunter did “nothing wrong” and admit that he isn’t above the law.
President Biden has a long history of telling embellished, if not outright fabricated stories, but lately the number of falsehoods from the president are coming at a rapid rate.

Globalist predators are banking on us having short memories but knowledge is power and we can shut down Covid hysteria 2.0 if we enact Operation Peaceful Non-Compliance
The brilliant constitutional attorney John Whitehead has argued that the U.S. Constitution has “effectively been terminated.”
Whitehead first made this observation in a column posted at his websiteon December 6, 2022. He said it again on July 31, 2023, in an interview with CBN News.
The Constitution has been “terminated.” That’s a big statement from a man I trust, and it got me thinking. How did this happen?
What is the Constitution anyway? It’s a legal safeguard, a system of boundaries, meant to protect us against evil doers seeking to take over our society and dominate us. Yes, evil is always present but, at least in America, we had the Constitution and its vaunted Bill of Rights. It was our ultimate firebreak against the tyranny of men.
But after years of infiltration of our major institutions – schools, universities, churches, the media, government – and a couple of major crises in 9/11 and the Covid pandemic — the Constitution was subverted. Where they couldn’t get favorable court rulings, the globalists and their useful idiots (minions) found work-arounds, cleverly claiming they had extra-constitutional “emergency” powers. The legislative branch, Congress, sat back and allowed this evisceration to happen at the executive level.
And once the Constitution had been terminated, all of the other safeguards fell like dominoes.
As the establishment gears up for Covid hysteria 2.0, let’s not forget what we learned by living through the first version of this atrocity.
We learned that medical doctors were not the pristine, incorruptible saints up on a societal pedestal where we had placed them. That was a mirage. The medical doctors of today are effectively following orders and working for a paycheck. Their vaunted Hippocratic Oath? Terminated! In fact, of those who refused to violate that sacred oath to “do no harm,” most of them lost their jobs in 2021 when they boldly advised their patients and the world not to take the new generation of genetic vaccines. And the medical establishment is continuing to strip them of their hard-earned medical licenses.
These vaunted “medical professionals” charged with doing no harm denied men, women, and children life-saving organ transplants and other medical procedures if they were unvaccinated. As a result, many died. The Make a Wish Foundation even denied a dying child’s final wish, all because of the family’s unvaccinated status.
We learned that the Nuremburg Code was terminated. This was the international law that came out of World War II and guaranteed that we had the right to “informed consent” before taking any new or experimental medical treatment. It was established to prevent new Dr. Mengeles from experimenting on humans as if they were little more than lab mice. But again, if doctors and nurses did not agree to violate the Nuremburg Code, they risked losing their jobs.
We learned that the spiritual integrity of most of our church leaders was terminated. If we could trust anyone it would be our pastors and religious leaders, right? Wrong again. Folks like Franklin Graham, Pope Francis, Robert Jeffress, the Christian Broadcasting Network, and thousands of nameless faceless pastors all let us down. They closed houses of worship at a time when they were needed more than ever. They not only promoted the death shots, they mercilessly bashed those of us who tried to warn the world that this was all part of a depopulation agenda openly advocated by the same “experts” advocating the shots. To this day, I’m not aware that any of them have repented for their reckless comments and lack of discernment.
We thought that if all else failed the U.S. military would save us. The military brass proved itself to be not only corrupt, but the leader of the whole corrupt cabal that is destroying America and the world. They led Operation Warp Speed under Donald Trump and they are leading the permanent Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response created in July by Joe Biden. The research that created the deadly bioweapons masquerading as “vaccines” was largely initiated through DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), the secretive research arm of the U.S. military. Sorry to burst your bubble. That’s the truth.
We learned the university system is completely corrupt. All universities, including almost all Christian universities, followed the dictates of evil men like Dr. Anthony Fauci in lock step. This should not surprise us. Most of them rely on federal financial aid to keep their enrollment up and pay their professors, so they were not going to buck any of the orders coming down from Washington about mask and shot mandates. (If you still think masks work, readthis.)
Corporate America is corrupt and the small business community is largely docile and complicit. The corporate titans who play on Wall Street are pure evil because most are funded by entities like BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street, whose values are ingrained in the Luciferian ESG social-credit scoring system. As employees and customers of these corrupt institutions, we let them mask us, test us repeatedly, take our temperatures, then shoot us up with an unknown chemical substance. But how many independently owned restaurants and shops also played along? How many put those “facemasks required” signs in their doors? How many placed those X’s on their floors to mark where we had to stand, socially distanced from the “other” who was perfectly healthy? How many of us stood on those X’s like school children ordered to stand in the corner? Worst of all, how many businesses shut their doors for weeks or months at a time on the word of a corrupt state or local health director, while Walmart, Target and Costco were allowed to stay open? If these small businesses had thumbed their noses at the criminal cabal trying to illegally order them around, do you really think the state police and sheriffs would have rounded them all up and put them in jail? I doubt it. The small businesses alone had the power to break the lockdowns, but instead of standing up for Americans and their freedom, they capitulated and bowed to the system. In short, they were cowards. That left the handful who did try to make a stand vulnerable and easy to shut down by power-drunk authorities who showed themselves to be illegitimate.
The media would uncover corruption and expose it so it doesn’t happen again, right? Wrong again. The Journalistic Code of Ethics (yes, it used to be a thing) was summarily tossed aside decades ago in favor of a leftist/globalist narrative. But the rise of Covid and the money thrown into media organizations by the government, Big Pharma and NGOs like the Gates Foundation, guaranteed that the messaging put the Code of Ethics on a funeral pyre, ensuring it would never again rise from the ashes. Any organization that bucked the trend and decided to independently verify facts in an effort to maintain journalistic integrity was branded by pre-selected “fact-checkers” with the dreaded euphemism for truth that was pre-approved at Event 201 in October 2019. That euphemistic branding was “disinformation.”
The media has been a key player in pushing the lies of all of the above actors from day one starting in February 2020 and really kicking into gear in March 2020 with full-blown Covid hysteria, running story after story meant to create fear and panic among the people. Remember the daily “death monitors” that ran at the top of every screen on CNN and Fox News? And then when there were not enough deaths to tabulate, they started tracking “cases.” They never sought to get to the bottom of exactly how most people were dying, which was due to a lack of early treatment with drugs that were known healers of the virus. Those infected were told to go home until their symptoms were so acute that they couldn’t breathe and then they were placed on ventilators and given the killer drug Remdesivir. Any drug that was effective at proper dosages during the early stages of Covid was totally discredited by the “experts” quoted repeatedly throughout the mockingbird media. The real experts were shunned and ridiculed as purveyors of disinformation.
And real reporters who still remembered what journalism was supposed to be? They were summarily fired, blackballed, censored and silenced, leaving us with nothing but mindless mockingbirds who were willing to sell their souls to the devil to keep their jobs.
So, having lived through Round One and being privy to all of the above information, what will we do with it? The burden lies with us. The ball is in our court. The same cast of characters are eager to throw us all right back into panic mode for another round of mandates, testing protocols, social distancing, lockdowns and devastating shots. If we comply once again, the globalists will finish off the last remnants of free enterprise in our economy and the last vestige of individual freedom in our society. Will we let them do it to us again? Only you can answer that question.
As for me and my house, we are enacting Operation Peaceful Non-Compliance. No masks, no tests, no social distancing from healthy friends and family, and no shots. We say no to all of that. We say yes to a healthy lifestyle and diet, getting rest, fresh air, sunshine, Vitamins D, C and zinc.

It’s a mistake not only because assuming that the center position must be the best one is a type of fallacious reasoning known as the middle ground fallacy (the correct position between “Drink a gallon of bleach daily for good health” and “Drink zero bleach daily for good health” is not “Drink half a gallon of bleach daily for good health”); it’s also a mistake because the entire framing arises from a situation that has been artificially engineered by the powerful.
It’s a well-documented fact that the rich and powerful pour vast fortunes into manipulating the political and media landscape in ways that serve their interests. Their control over the news media and Silicon Valley tech platforms is used to set the agenda and influence public perception by determining what issues will receive attention and which won’t in ways that preserve the political status quo they’ve built their empire upon, thereby shrinking the Overton window of acceptable debate down to a very narrow spectrum whose outcomes can’t threaten their interests in any way.
We just discussed this dynamic with regard to US aggressions against Russia and China; the Overton window is being narrowed to a debate between which US enemy should be the target of the most imperial aggressions, with voices who advocate detente with both countries finding no platform in mainstream politics or media. This is what Noam Chomsky was talking about when he said “the smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum.”
People assume there must be truth in the mainstream worldview because so many others are invested in the mainstream worldview, when really the only reason that worldview is mainstream in the first place is because so much wealth and influence has gone into making it mainstream. In reality the assumption that the truth exists anywhere in either of the two mainstream political viewpoints promoted by the managers of the western empire is an example of the bandwagon effect, which describes the cognitive bias in which humans tend to take on beliefs, behaviors, styles and attitudes solely because that’s what the people around them are doing.
The C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group is a globalist enterprise with at least 14 partners right here in the U.S., and, they have set an “ambitious target” to convince the masses to give up meat, dairy, and private car ownership, as well as almost all flights, to supposedly save the planet and control temperatures forever around the current level.
Fourteen major American cities are part of a globalist climate organization known as the ‘C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group,’ which has an ‘ambitious target‘ by the year 2030 of ‘0 kg [of] meat consumption,’ ‘0 kg [of] dairy consumption,’ ‘3 new clothing items per person per year,’ ‘0 private vehicles’ owned, and ‘1 short-haul return flight (less than 1500 km) every 3 years per person.’ …
