Embracing a New Way of Life: Say “No” to Sin

Romans 6:12–14

Are you familiar with the idea of being dead to sin and alive to God? How does this concept translate into our everyday lives?

Picture this: sin knocking on your door, tempting you to stray. What’s your response? Let’s explore how we can navigate a life where sin no longer holds dominion over us.

In the book of Romans (6:12–14), it’s stated that sin should not reign in our mortal bodies, leading us to obey its desires. Instead, we are encouraged not to offer our bodies as instruments of unrighteousness to sin but to present ourselves to God as those who have been resurrected from the dead.

“Therefore sin is not to reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting the parts of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and your body’s parts as instruments of righteousness for God. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace,” (Romans 6:12–14).

We are to see our body’s parts as instruments of righteousness for God. This passage reminds us that sin should not have mastery over us because we are no longer under the law but under grace.

So, what should we do when temptation comes knocking? First and foremost, we must recognize that sin no longer has a grip on us. It lacks the power to compel us to do anything we don’t want to do.

The shackles of bondage have been shattered by the hand of death. In this newfound freedom, we must remember that we have only one true master.

In the Christian journey, one of the most potent words we possess is a simple “no.” We can confidently say “no” because there is no force compelling us to surrender to sin’s allure. We can boldly declare, “I refuse.”

This becomes remarkably straightforward when we are genuinely walking in the newness of life. A life devoted to serving our new Master grants us the ability to firmly reject sin’s advances.

So, let us engage in purposeful service to Him, for it is through this dedication that we can confidently say “no” to sin’s temptations. Say “no” to sin, and embrace the newness of life in service to your true Master.

God First, Then Extras | VCY

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)

See how the Bible opens: “In the beginning God.” Let your life open in the same way. Seek with your whole soul, first and foremost, the kingdom of God, as the place of your citizenship, and His righteousness as the character of your life. As for the rest, it will come from the Lord Himself without your being anxious concerning it. All that is needful for this life and godliness “shall be added unto you.”

What a promise this is! Food, raiment, home, and so forth, God undertakes to add to you while you seek Him. You mind His business, and He will mind yours. If you want paper and string, you get them given in when you buy more important goods; and just so all that we need of earthly things we shall have thrown in with the kingdom. He who is an heir of salvation shall not die of starvation; and he who clothes his soul with the righteousness of God cannot be left of the Lord with a naked body. Away with carking care. Set all your mind upon seeking the Lord. Covetousness is poverty, and anxiety is misery: trust in God is an estate, and likeness of God is a heavenly inheritance. Lord, I seek Thee; be found of me.

“My times are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors.“  Psalm 31:15

Watching the Olympics, I was impressed that in almost every event, timing was the most crucial element. Often fractions of a second separated a gold from a bronze medal. It was not just the overall finishing time, but the timing going into a curve or over a mogul. Many athletes said after their event: “My timing was just right,” or “My timing was off.”

I don’t know about you, but I am an impatient person and like things done in my own way and in my own timing. Are you waiting for God to answer your prayers right now? Waiting is one of the hardest parts of the Christian life for me. It is hard for me to put aside my timing and my life planning in order to trust His.

Maybe you’ve been waiting for God for a while, but still things aren’t turning out the way you hoped or expected them to. Does it seem like your hopes and dreams are never going to be fulfilled?

Sometimes it’s hard to understand why God doesn’t allow things to happen now. An important lesson that I am continuing to learn is that God works things out in His own perfect timing. As we wait for God’s timing, He may allow us to go through certain trials.

God has plans for your life.

He knows everything about you. He made you. You can trust Him. He’s always right on time.

God, I surrender my life to You in every respect. Help me live every day to the fullest on Your timetable and to be filled with the joy of knowing that You are in control. Amen.

Identify one area where you are struggling to trust God’s timing. Hand that concern over to Him in prayer and tell Him you’re choosing to trust His good plans for you.

“Why, O Lord, do you stand far away? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?” Psalm 10:1

On a whim, I stopped at a fast food restaurant to get a cold drink while dashing about with my to-do list of errands. There was a line of cars at the drive-through, so I decided to go inside instead.

I saw a dear friend of mine bent over her computer, holding her right hand to her mouth, worry lines exaggerated on her forehead. I waved to get her attention but she was too busy concentrating on what was on the screen. Then I saw a tear run down her cheek, so I slid into the booth and placed my hand over hers as it crunched a to-go napkin. She jolted. Then relief filled her face. “How did God know I’d need a good friend right now?” she whispered. On the screen was an email from her son with disturbing news. We bowed our heads and prayed.

David asked why God seemed so far away in times of trouble. I think if we are honest, that same question has crossed our minds as well. God is always present. Sometimes we just need to look up from our troubles to see Him. Maybe in a rainbow, a song on the radio, or maybe a friend who comes alongside at just the right time.

Or, perhaps He will provide the opportunity for us to be there for someone else so that, as we give, we will be ministered to as well. As I held hands and prayed with my friend, I felt God’s loving touch.

Jesus, You knew suffering when You walked on our soil, and in Heaven You continue to pray for us here in earth who continue to suffer. Fill each of us with the assurance that You are there, You care, and You will provide support, comfort and love. And Lord, spur in us the desire to be there for someone else when You provide that opportunity. Amen.

Thought: Is God calling you to be a comfort to someone? Don’t shoo the thought away when their name enters your head. Pray for them. Then call them, text them or go hug them. And if you need comfort right now, be open to the ways God will let you know He’s there.

The Reported Russian-North Korean Military Deal Is All About Geostrategic Balancing
Russia and North Korea’s complementary balancing acts at the global and national levels vis-a-vis China coupled with China’s reluctance to burn all bridges with the West as it begins building alternative global institutions are the real driving forces behind the first two’s reported military deal.

How Deep Is The Deep State?
We received some seemingly excellent news over the weekend. The appellate court of the 5th Circuit has reimposed the restrictions on the White House, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the FBI to stop bullying social media companies to censor content. This has taken place ahead of the actual trial because two judges found that the practice was so egregious that it needed to be stopped right now before more damage is done to the First Amendment.

‘Weaponized Govt Agencies’ “Don’t Wish Good Things For Me” – Musk Blames Biden Admin For Ukraine-Starlink Block
“Elon, does the Biden administration have it out for you, and why?” All-In host entrepreneur David Sacks asked Musk. “Ha. What ever gave you that idea?” Musk joked. “I don’t think the whole administration has it out for me,” he added. “But I think there’s probably aspects of the administration… or aspects of interests aligned with President Biden who probably do not wish good things for me.”

Mexican Congress holds hearing on UFOs featuring purported ‘alien’ bodies
Mexican lawmakers heard testimony that “we are not alone” in the universe and saw the alleged remains of non-human beings in an extraordinary hearing marking the Latin American country’s first congressional event on UFOs. In the hearing on Tuesday on FANI, the Spanish acronym for what are usually now termed Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), politicians were shown two artifacts that Mexican journalist and long-time UFO enthusiast Jaime Maussan claimed were the corpses of extraterrestrials. Maussan said it was the first time such evidence had been presented.

Putin and North Korea’s Kim Discuss Military Matters, Ukraine War, Satellites
Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin met for a rare summit on Wednesday at which they discussed military matters, the war in Ukraine, and possible Russian help for the secretive Communist state’s satellite program. Blinken: Palestinian issue will be part of Saudi normalization deal
Blinken made clear that normalization “cannot be a substitute for Israel and the Palestinians resolving their differences and having a much better future for Palestinians. And in our judgment, of course, that must – needs to involve a two-state solution.” He also added that “it’s also clear from what we hear from the Saudis that if this process is to move forward, the Palestinian piece is going to be very important, too.”

Blessing or curse? Israel hit by unseasonal rains as Jews prepare for New Year
Israel was hit by unseasonal rain on Tuesday evening as the storm system, a “medicane” dubbed ‘Daniel’ by meteorologists, arrived in the Holy Land. The rain continued until Wednesday morning. Medicanes rarely reach hurricane strength and are rare, forming once or twice a year in the Mediterranean. They are most common from September to January. The rare summer storm was a welcome relief as it led to a drop in temperature, ending an extended heat wave. Heavy rain is unusual for Israel in the Hebrew month of Elul. The storm is expected to pass by Thursday.

Will lab-grown meat be brought to the Third Temple as an animal sacrifice?

Why might Saudi-Israeli deal happen faster than skeptics think? Because Bibi, MBS, Biden all want it to happen now
As explained by the YouTube exclusive video, there are growing signs a deal very well could happen far sooner than most people realize. First of all, the tempo of speculation about such a deal has picked up significantly in recent months. Why? Because something dramatic has happened. All three leaders – Israeli, Saudi, and American – say they want it to happen. And previously, that had not been the case. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman … is ready to strike an historic normalization deal with Israel that could change the Middle East forever.

Archaeologists Are Making Bombshell Discoveries In The Land Of Israel
I am so excited about some of the incredible archaeological discoveries that are being made in the land of Israel.  In our time, we get to see ancient locations that literally haven’t been seen for centuries.  But even more importantly, many of the discoveries that are being made in the land of Israel confirm important details of Biblical accounts.

Let’s Talk About The Ancient Three-Fingered “Alien Corpses” That Were Just Shown To Lawmakers In Mexico…
Did we just witness the unveiling of the most amazing “alien discovery” in history, or was it all a hoax?  2023 has been a really weird year, and it just got even weirder.  On Tuesday, an independent researcher named Jamie Maussan brought two small mummified specimens with him when he testified at a congressional hearing in Mexico about UFOs.  The mummified specimens were contained in two glass display cases, and so they could be very clearly seen.  By now, you have probably come across photos or videos of these creatures on social media.  But are they actually real?

Official Worldwide Gov. Reports prove COVID Vaccination is causing Depopulation at a frightening rate
If we are to believe that the huge increase in deaths in 2020 was because of the emergence of the alleged Covid-19 virus, then one would expect the so-called “life-saving” vaccine, that has been rolled out worldwide and injected into the arms of millions multiple times, to have reduced the number of excess deaths being recorded across the world dramatically.

FEATURED ANALYSIS

Big Three Automaker Strike Looms

Joe Biden appears helpless to stop a UAW strike whose deadline is midnight tonight.

Douglas Andrews

Scranton Joe Biden fancies himself a union guy, a union president, but that just doesn’t pass the giggle test, does it?

After all, how many union guys do you know who live in a mansion once owned by the du Pont family? With a six-bedroom beach house? How many union guys do you know who dispatch their coke-addled, sex-addicted son to peddle their influence among corrupt countries around the globe? How many union guys do you know who’ve set up 20 or so shell companies to launder their ill-gotten millions? How many union guys do you know who go around saying that “white supremacy is the single most dangerous terrorist threat in our homeland”?

We didn’t think so. Maybe this leftist-elitism is why we’ve seen a major shift in our two political parties — a shift we wrote about just before the 2020 election. The Democrats used to be the party of blue-collar America, the party of Main Street, while the Republicans were the party of Wall Street. Not anymore. In recent years, the two parties have done a switcheroo.

All this brings us to a looming deadline of midnight tonight, at which time, if an agreement hasn’t been reached between labor and management, the United Auto Workers will go on strike, an action that will no doubt shake an already fragile American economy. As the AP reports:

The auto industry accounts for about 3% of the nation’s gross domestic product and though union leaders say they are mulling strikes at a small number of factories run by those automakers, as many as 146,000 workers could eventually walk off their jobs. The effects would be most immediate in Michigan and other auto job-heavy states such as Ohio and Indiana. But a prolonged strike could trigger car shortages and layoffs in auto-supply industries and other sectors.

This spells trouble for Joe Biden and his party. As former UAW President Bob King said in a recent interview: “UAW members feel abandoned by the Democratic Party. I think there’s a segment of the Democratic Party that sees itself as serving corporations rather than the common good. … We’ve had a lot of disappointments.” King cited Bill Clinton’s NAFTA agreement and “the failure of Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act to ensure that clean energy funds flow to union workers.”

What King failed to say in so many words is that no one is buying the Left’s electric vehicles.

Not surprisingly, the UAW has yet to endorse Biden’s reelection. As current UAW President Shawn Fain says: “Actions are going to dictate endorsements, so we’ll see how things continue to play out, and we have a lot of issues to resolve. There’s a lot with the EV transition that has to happen, and there’s hundreds of billions of our taxpayer dollars that are helping fund this, and workers cannot continue to be left behind in that equation.”

Fain, by the way, says the offers he’s received from the Big Three automakers “have been completely unacceptable.”

To be clear, though, some of the UAW’s demands are outrageous: a 46% pay raise over four years, and a 32-hour work week while getting paid for 40 come immediately to mind. And folks wonder why car companies go overseas or south of the border for cheap labor.

Says Fain: “We will strike all three companies, a historic first, initially at a limited number of targeted locations that we will be announcing. Then, based on what’s happening in bargaining, we’re going to be announcing more locals that are going to be called to stand up and strike.”

“If there is a strike,” said Ford CEO Jim Farley yesterday, “it’s not because Ford didn’t make a great offer. … We should be working creatively to solve hard problems rather than planning strikes and PR events.”

What might a rank-and-file union member think of all this? We’re glad you asked. As an anonymous source, a Big Three union worker, tells us:

Yeah, the 32-for-40 is a pipe dream, and I think [Fain] knows that. We don’t hear him mention it much anymore. Pensions are also not coming back. Anybody hired after 2009 didn’t get a pension, but got 401(k) contributions instead. … As far as wages, he’s got a point. Inflation has been sky-high, thanks to Brandon. Just in the last four years, car prices are up 34%, profits are up over 40%, and CEO salaries are up over 40%, while we’ve received 6% in raises since 2019 in one of the tightest labor markets ever. Also, labor costs are currently only about 5% of the price of a car. Look at the cars and trucks made in Mexico with practically slave labor. They’re no cheaper than what is made here, just higher profit margins. So despite some of [Fain’s] more outrageous demands, he’s correct on a lot of points about “corporate greed.”

As to the political side, there has certainly been a bit of a shift [from Democrat to Republican], especially among the skilled trades. Over a third of UAW voted for Trump, with an even larger percentage among the skilled trades.

Maybe Biden thinks they can all just learn to write code. You know, like the coal miners. Easy, right?

Perhaps the most shocking thing our source mentioned was the high level of absenteeism among the rank and file. “This,” he said, “forces the company to keep more workers than they need on the payroll to make up for people that don’t show up.”

As for the cause of the runaway absenteeism, he added: “It’s largely a result of [Bill Clinton’s] Family Medical Leave Act, that blocks companies from punishing workers with an FMLA exemption and is abused horribly. Just need a doctor to sign off, and you can be absent any day, any reason with no repercussions. … Somewhere around 40% of workers here have an FMLA exemption they can use whenever they want.”

Our source is just one guy, but he’s a patriotic American, and he’s right there in the thick of it every day.

Meanwhile, the clock keeps ticking. The deadline is midnight tonight, and the two parties seem impossibly far apart.

New Mexico Gun Grab Backfires

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has few supporters, even in her own party, and she already lost in court.

Nate Jackson

Democrat New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham canceled the Second Amendment last weekend, and she’s facing stiff opposition — even from her own party.

U.S. District Judge David Urias, appointed by Joe “Double-Barrel Shotgun” Biden, was the first judge to stand in the governor’s way. He granted a temporary restraining order Wednesday blocking her order. The National Association for Gun Rights, We the Patriots USA, Gun Owners of America, and residents of the affected jurisdictions all fought the order.

Not that any law enforcement officers or other officials in New Mexico were going to back up the governor. As we noted Tuesday, Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina and Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen both publicly refused to enforce her order, as did Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman. Next was Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller. Then on Wednesday, New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez issued a public statement refusing to prosecute.

Every last one of those men is or was appointed by a Democrat.

None of them minced words, either, including Torrez. “Though I recognize my statutory obligation as New Mexico’s chief legal officer to defend state officials when they are sued in their official capacity, my duty to uphold and defend the constitutional rights of every citizen takes precedence,” he wrote in a letter to Governor Lujan Grisham. “Simply put, I do not believe that the Emergency Order will have any meaningful impact on public safety but, more importantly, I do not believe it passes constitutional muster.”

The Second Amendment’s clear language aside, part of Lujan Grisham’s problem is that she couldn’t even be bothered to call the Democrat-dominated legislature into a special session to deal with the supposed “emergency.”

Instead, she’s relying on wild emotional appeals and pitching fits. She accused Sheriff Allen of being “squeamish” and implied that, unlike her, he was unwilling to keep people safe or put them first. If officials oppose her, “That’s their opinion,” she huffed. “They have no bold actions” to stop “gun violence.”

“I refuse to be resigned to the status quo,” she wailed after Judge Urias’s order. “I call on leaders across the state, from local law enforcement to the Legislature to mayors and county commissioners: Stand with me to enact solutions that save people’s lives. Throwing up our hands is not an option.”

Neither is throwing out the Constitution. Yet that’s exactly what she admitted to doing. When she issued the order, she declared, “No constitutional right, in my view, including my oath, is intended to be absolute.” Her fellow Democrats — i.e., the entire party — is constantly looking for ways to undermine, reject, or totally ignore the Constitution.

But you can’t say that out loud, they must be thinking.

Just like the governor, every Leftmedia news report on the subject is sure to prominently feature appeals to emotion. In Albuquerque in recent months, several children have been killed by assailants using firearms, which the governor and her allies in the press bring up at every opportunity. Ergo, the implication is, Lujan Grisham’s attempt to “do something” is at least good-hearted and legitimate.

Wrong.

It’s tyranny, plain and simple, and it wouldn’t save a single life even if it wasn’t. A criminal willing to murder someone sure as heck isn’t going to be deterred by a civil fine for carrying a gun.

Speaking of deterrence, Lujan Grisham needs some of that, and state Democrat lawmakers may actually provide the checks and balances. Some are even publicly discussing the possibility of impeachment.

God or Government

The best assurance of our continuation as a free and prosperous nation is not our Constitution but our decisions.

Laura Hollis

Last week, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham created a firestorm with an executive order suspending for 30 days the right to concealed or open carry of a firearm in Bernalillo County (where Albuquerque, the state’s most populated city, is located). In her order, Grisham declared gun violence to be a “public health emergency,” using recent fatal shootings as examples and citing statistics showing that gun violence is the leading cause of death for New Mexicans under age 19.

Possession of firearms has been lawful in the United States since the country was founded. And yet we did not have the problem with gun violence even just a few decades ago that we have now. Why aren’t we asking “why?” What has changed? We should be at least as interested in explaining the violence as we are in passing laws trying to prevent it.

Statistics actually provide a great deal of insight. First, in any given year, more than 50% of all gun-related deaths are suicides. This is profoundly relevant to Grisham’s concern for young people in her state (and throughout the country); according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, suicide has been the first or second leading cause of death for Americans under age 24 for the past quarter-century, and more than 50% of all suicides involve guns.

Homicide falls right behind, as the third leading cause of death in the same age demographic. The vast majority of gun homicides take place in our cities, perpetrated by young males using handguns that were acquired illegally.

In other words, we don’t have a “gun problem.” We have a terrible problem with our young people.

Ever-larger numbers of American youth suffer from depression, anxiety or a sense of hopelessness that makes suicide look like a desirable option. And our cities — and prisons — are filled with those who have neither respect nor reverence for life — theirs or others’. Single parenthood, widespread divorce, broken homes, absent fathers, gang violence and the sexualization of every aspect of young people’s lives — just to name a few societal trends — have taken a brutal toll.

Opponents of Grisham’s executive order and other gun control efforts point to the U.S. Constitution and claim that the rights enshrined therein are inviolate. And it is often said that the Constitution is grounded in principles found in Judeo-Christianity. Both statements are true, but they neglect a fundamental point: the role of Judeo-Christianity in the success of the American political experiment lies not in its manifestation within the federal or state governments, but in the manifestation of those beliefs and values in the everyday conduct of ordinary Americans.

This is what our second president, John Adams, meant when he said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

In other words, the liberties recognized and protected in the United States Constitution depend upon the voluntary self-restraint of its citizens.

What we have been seeing at least since the 1960s is the abandonment of self-restraint. Our most significant cultural institutions encourage irresponsible behavior: the entertainment industry actively promotes immediate gratification, self-absorption, greed, envy, violence, sexual promiscuity and substance abuse. The media amplifies and glorifies these behaviors. The government subsidizes them.

In this climate, we cannot be shocked when those behaviors become more widespread. And the consequences therefrom have become appallingly costly, not only in terms of monies from the public coffers, but countless lives diminished or destroyed.

In addition to the heartbreaking statistics about suicide and homicide, 15-24-year-olds now consistently represent more than half of all cases of sexually transmitted diseases each year. Our cities are filled with homeless and mentally ill people, staggering or laying inert in substance-fueled stupors on streets filled with their urine and feces. Thieves steal from lawful businesses and break into cars in broad daylight, and our government looks the other way. Mobs loot and destroy and burn entire city blocks to the ground, while academics and analysts dismiss this behavior as legitimate protest for social ills. Criminals who commit violent physical and sexual assaults, including rape and attempted murder, are released on low bail or no bail. Parents are having to fight with school boards and administrators over the inclusion of sexually explicit materials in grade school curricula and libraries, while teachers argue on TikTok that they have the right to share intimate details of their sexual identities and preferences with their students.

In short, fewer Americans are willing to conform their behavior to established norms for purposes of preserving a civilized society. As the consequences of diminished self-restraint multiply, the calls for more external restraints — more and larger government — will increase.

It is foolish, therefore, to think that just because a “right” or liberty is placed in the Constitution, it will remain inviolate forever. Eventually, enough mayhem will have occurred that people will clamor to amend the Constitution to restrict or even remove rights identified therein. One by one, the rights “guaranteed” by the Constitution will be taken away.

Whenever there are calls for a return to Judeo-Christian principles, the naysayers proclaim, “We don’t want a theocracy!”

Nor do I. The best assurance of our continuation as a free and prosperous nation is not our Constitution but our decisions. We as individuals can freely choose to restrain ourselves, relying upon the principles handed down by God. Or we can pretend to be “freer” by ignoring those principles. As we are witnessing right now, the increased government control that inevitably follows the resulting chaos will leave everyone much, much less free.

Executive News Summary

Escaped murderer captured in Pennsylvania, DACA was illegal, ATF looking to redefine “gun dealer,” and more.

Thomas Gallatin & Jordan Candler

Cross-Examination

  • Escaped murderer Cavalcante captured in PA: Danelo Cavalcante, an illegal alien killer who escaped a prison near Philadelphia two weeks ago, was recaptured on Wednesday. This was Cavalcante’s second prison break after he escaped a prison in Brazil, where he was doing time for a murder conviction there. In 2021, Cavalcante was given a life sentence for murdering his ex-girlfriend. This story garnered a lot of national press coverage, but his illegal immigration status often went without a mention.
  • DACA was illegal: Speaking of illegal aliens, U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen ruled on Wednesday that Barack Obama’s 2012 executive order creating the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) was illegal. Hanen wrote, “That program is vacated, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is enjoined from implementing Final Rule DACA until a further order of the Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, or the Supreme Court of the United States.” The judge noted that while those individuals who received DACA status prior to July 16, 2021, can continue in the program, the DHS “may not grant any” new applicants approval. He further noted, “A Final Judgment has not been entered in this case, so all matters not being addressed by an appellate court are still pending in this Court and subject to its jurisdiction.”
  • ATF looking to redefine “gun dealer”: Concern is growing surrounding the ATF’s effort to redefine the term “gun dealer.” The ATF has taken the phrase “to predominately earn a profit” for a gun dealer and is seeking to expand it to include anyone who would sell a firearm. This would include gun collectors, as the new rule narrows what is meant by “personal collection” to “personal firearms that a person accumulates for study, comparison, exhibition, or for a hobby.” Conspicuously absent is “self-defense.” To make matters worse, the new rule adds to “personal collection” the following condition: “shall not include any firearm purchased for the purpose of resale or made with the predominant intent to earn a profit.” But one of the primary motivations behind building a collection of anything is often turning a profit. What the ATF is attempting to do is declare that anyone engaged in the buying and selling of a firearm is a “gun dealer” and therefore will need to be licensed as such. This is yet another attempt by the Biden administration to infringe on Americans’ Second Amendment rights.
  • California concealed carry restrictions: Regarding Second Amendment infringement, Democrats in California have just passed a new concealed carry law that further restricts Californians’ right to bear arms. The law, which is headed to Governor Gavin Newsom’s desk, limits who can obtain a concealed carry permit and includes new age restrictions, storage rules, and a growing list of “sensitive places” where no firearms will be permitted. All the Golden State’s Republicans and one Democrat voted against the bill, but it still overwhelmingly passed the California Senate 28-8. The law appears to run directly counter to the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent rulings striking down concealed carry limits, and if Newsom signs it into law as expected, it will be on a collision course with SCOTUS.
  • Romney to retire: Mitt Romney, the 76-year-old Republican senator from Utah, announced on Wednesday that he will not seek reelection after his current term ends in 2025. The failed 2012 Republican presidential candidate, who has been a loud critic of Donald Trump, pledged, “While I’m not running for reelection, I’m not retiring from the fight.” Romney, who has been criticized, often deservedly, for being too willing to cave to the Democrats on certain policy issues, at least gave a reason for his decision that many can agree with. “I’ve spent my last 25 years in public service of one kind or another. At the end of another term, I’d be in my mid-80s,” he explained. “Frankly, it’s time for a new generation of leaders. They’re the ones that need to make the decisions that will shape the world they will be living in.” Hear! Hear!

Cowardly Abortion Lingo

GOP lawmakers discuss changing the language around the abortion debate.

Emmy Griffin

Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, GOP politicians have seen several losses both in the voting booth and in state legislation. A conversational private meeting was proposed for a small select group of GOP senators to discuss what may have changed in the abortion debate. According to the Senate Leadership Fund super PAC, the problem is the way that people now understand key terms surrounding the debate.

The terms in question are “pro-life” and “pro-choice.” According to some poll results that were presented to the GOP senators, Americans see the term “pro-life” as shorthand for banning all abortion and “pro-choice” as having exceptions. Even Senator Josh Hawley admitted after viewing these polls: “Many voters think [‘pro-life’] means you’re for no exceptions in favor of abortion ever, ever, and ‘pro-choice’ now can mean any number of things. So the conversation was mostly oriented around how voters think of those labels, that they’ve shifted. So if you’re going to talk about the issue, you need to be specific.”

To some extent, perhaps it is a bit of confusing messaging, but that is not necessarily the fault of pro-life Republicans. Pro-choice Democrats have a position that seems flexible, generous even. How lovely is it to be on the side that is for choice? The uneducated voter hears that and thinks having choices — which is synonymous with freedom in the liberal lexicon — is the highest form of good. However, what is the choice being presented? When is it morally acceptable to kill an unborn baby?

Pro-choicers tell us that 1) it’s not a baby and 2) the decision should be between the woman and her doctor. Their first position denies biological reality. A fetus in the womb is a human baby, just at an earlier stage of development. Blurring that line is an important lie for pro-choicers because the dehumanization of the unborn child justifies their next point, which is that the mother and her doctor should choose. The goal of pro-choice advocates is to ensure that a mother can abort her child for any reason at any point. It’s an official Democrat Party position.

Pro-lifers, on the other hand, encompass a spectrum ranging from full-on abortion abolitionists to conceding exceptions when the mother’s life is in danger, or even sometimes for rape or incest. The goal of all these pro-lifers is to save children’s lives and help their mothers.

The only term that really should be changed is “pro-choice.” For women who are faced with this decision to keep or abort their babies, the act of abortion is often presented to them as expedient. They are not offered alternatives like adoption or given resources to help them. Instead, they are shuffled through abortion clinics like cattle and their helpless children are murdered. Then these shattered and broken women are shunted out into the world as if it were nothing. There is no follow-up, no care.

The proper term for “pro-choice” is merely “pro-abortion.” “Pro-life” means just that: People are for not killing babies; they are for supporting mothers and families who are in difficult situations.

Politically, perhaps, it might be expedient to reexamine the terms, but being pro-life — whatever level that may be — isn’t the word that needs a marketing makeover. The GOP would do well to continue to stand firm on this issue.

Thanks to Bidenomics, Inflation Is Rising Again

For the third straight year, American households’ inflation-adjusted income has decreased.

Thomas Gallatin

If it really is “the economy, stupid,” as James Carville famously insisted, then Joe Biden and company are cruising for a bruising come November 2024.

Ironically, Biden has embraced his mess of an economy and gleefully branded it “Bidenomics.” In doing so, Team Biden has sought to spin this demonstrably bad economy as really not bad at all. In fact, according to Biden, it’s doing great.

Leftmedia talkingheads mostly go along with the gaslighting. In early August, Newsweek published an article declaring: “Biden’s Economy Is Booming. Here’s Why You’re Not Feeling It.” The article quoted a former economic adviser for Ronald Reagan, Arthur Laffer, who said, “If I were a Biden economist today, I’d be smiling.” Why? Well, according to Laffer, “Inflation numbers are coming way down, employment numbers appear to be strong, real wages for the first time appear to be increasing, the GDP number is 2.4 percent — that at least in recent historical context is pretty damn good — the stock markets had 11 straight days of positive.”

At that moment, he was right, but today’s economic news is telling a different story. Inflation has reversed course and is rising again for the second straight month. It’s now back up to 3.7% over last year after a monthly jump of 0.3%. Meanwhile, for the third straight year, Americans’ inflation-adjusted median household income has decreased, down another 2.3% from last year.

The reality is that Bidenomics after a pandemic is making Americans poorer. Everything costs increasingly more in Biden’s America.

Speaking of being poorer, that “lowest unemployment” rate Biden boasts about hasn’t translated into reducing the poverty rate. Last year, poverty in America rose to double digits, coming in at 12.4%, which was up from 7.8% in 2021 and 5.2% in 2020. For Democrats who have a long history of complaining over any kind of wealth gap in America, Biden has been far worse for the country than Donald Trump ever was with those supposed “tax cuts for the wealthy.”

It’s not just Biden’s massive spending programs that have resulted in this negative economy; it’s also his war on fossil fuels. The price of gas hit an all-time high last summer and has still not come back down to anywhere near the price when Trump was in office. Last month, overall energy prices rose 10.6%, which was the leading factor contributing to the jump in inflation.

Meanwhile, Biden keeps pumping money into his EV crusade, as he seeks to push Americans into buying expensive vehicles that the majority can’t afford and that are simply not practical enough for their everyday needs. Just this week, the Biden administration announced another $100 million in federal funding to bolster the availability of public EV charging stations.

According to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, “This funding represents the latest step toward building a convenient, affordable, reliable charging network that reaches every corner of our nation.” His “generosity” is too late for Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm and her EV misadventure, but this income redistribution will help ensure that inflation continues to be a problem for Americans into the future.

Despite economic reality, the Leftmedia continues to go to bat for Biden with pieces like this from CNN: “Why Biden’s strong economy feels so bad to most Americans.” Evidently, the growth that counts the most to Americans — paychecks and bank balances — is what all these Bidenomics apologists ignore.

This Leftmedia attempt to gaslight the American public on the “success” of Bidenomics has been failing because, no matter how hard they try to sell it, that stink Americans are smelling isn’t perfume.

Political Futures

“The American voters will give their verdict on Biden; with Democrats in control of the Senate, he won’t be removed from office. But Republicans are right to remind Americans that Biden isn’t a decent man restoring honor to the Oval Office. He’s a career-long corrupt politician who simply got lucky in his enemies at the right time.” —Ben Shapiro

Media Malfeasance

“Few national networks were able to ignore the unbelievable saga that just concluded in Pennsylvania yesterday morning. For two weeks, schools were closed and American citizens lived in fear as one man tied up hundreds of law enforcement agents. Not surprisingly, however, most of the ‘mainstream news’ networks provided absolutely no context. The networks devoted 114 minutes of airtime to covering Danelo Cavalcante, an escaped murderer. And yet they never once mentioned the fact that Cavalcante is in the country illegally, just like millions of others thanks to Joe Biden’s open borders, thousands of whom are known criminals and national security risks. If one man could cause this much chaos, just imagine what a dozen, a few hundred or even a thousand determined foreign agents could do. But if the media told the American people the truth that would hurt Joe Biden and help Republicans, and they can’t have that.” —Gary Bauer

For the Record

“New York’s migrant problems are the result of policies promised by candidate Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential race and delivered by President Joe Biden in the two years and eight months since January 2021. Railing about a ‘madman’ in Texas will not solve a problem that started in the White House.” —Byron York

And Last…

“We’ve all had relatives like [Joe Biden] when their memory starts to go. We politely shake our heads, give them a hug and look for ways to make sure they don’t hurt themselves. We don’t make them president of the United States and entrust them with the nuclear codes!” —Gary Bauer

How Deep Is The Deep State?

Article Image
 • Zero Hedge

Authored by Jeffrey Tucker via The Epoch Times,

We received some seemingly excellent news over the weekend. The appellate court of the 5th Circuit has reimposed the restrictions on the White House, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the FBI to stop bullying social media companies to censor content.

This has taken place ahead of the actual trial because two judges found that the practice was so egregious that it needed to be stopped right now before more damage is done to the First Amendment.

“The officials have engaged in a broad pressure campaign designed to coerce social-media companies into suppressing speakers, viewpoints, and content disfavored by the government,” a three-judge panel wrote in Missouri v. Biden.

“The harms that radiate from such conduct extend far beyond just the Plaintiffs; it impacts every social-media user.”

Five Facts That Compel The Biden Impeachment Inquiry: Turley | ZeroHedge News

Authored by Jonathan Turley,

With the commencement of an impeachment inquiry this week, the House of Representatives is moving the Biden corruption scandal into the highest level of constitutional inquiry. After stonewalling by the Bidens and federal agencies investigating various allegations, the move for a House inquiry was expected if not inevitable.

An impeachment inquiry does not mean that an impeachment itself is inevitable. But it dramatically increases the chances of finally forcing answers to troubling questions of influence-peddling and corruption.

As expected, many House Democrats — who impeached Donald Trump after only one hearing in the House Judiciary Committee, based on his phone call to Ukraine’s president — oppose any such inquiry into President Biden. House Republicans could have chosen to forego any hearings and use what I called a “snap impeachment,” as then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) did with the second Trump impeachment in January 2021.

Instead, they have methodically investigated the corruption scandal for months and only now are moving to a heightened inquiry. The House has established a labyrinth of dozens of shell companies and accounts allegedly used to transfer millions of dollars to Biden family members. There is now undeniable evidence to support influence-peddling by Hunter Biden and some of his associates — with Joe Biden, to quote Hunter’s business partner Devon Archer, being “the brand” they were selling.

The suggestion that this evidence does not meet the standard for an inquiry into impeachable offenses is an example of willful blindness. It also is starkly different from the standard applied by congressional Democrats during the Trump and Nixon impeachment efforts.

The Nixon impeachment began on Oct. 30, 1973, just after President Nixon fired Archibald Cox, the special prosecutor looking into the Watergate allegations. The vote in the judiciary committee was along party lines. The House was correct to start that impeachment inquiry, although House leaders stressed that they were not prejudging the existence of impeachable offenses. The inquiry started roughly eight months before any indictments of defendants linked to the Watergate break-in. It was many months before clear evidence established connections to Nixon, who denied any wrongdoing or involvement.

Every impeachment inquiry is different, of course. In this case, there is a considerable amount of evidence gathered over months of methodical investigations by three different committees.

Consider just five established facts:

First, there appears to be evidence that Joe Biden lied to the public for years in denying knowledge of his son’s business dealings. Hunter Biden’s ex-business associate, Tony Bobulinski, has said repeatedly that he discussed some dealings directly with Joe Biden. Devon Archer, Hunter’s close friend and partner, described the president’s denials of knowledge as “categorically false.”

Moreover, Hunter’s laptop has communications from his father discussing the dealings, including audio messages from the president. The president allegedly spoke with his son on speakerphone during meetings with his associates on at least 20 occasions, according to Archer, attended dinners with some clients, and took photographs with others.

Second, we know that more than $20 million was paid to the Bidens by foreign sources, including figures in China, Ukraine, Russia and Romania. There is no apparent reason for the multilayers of accounts and companies other than to hide these transfers. Some of these foreign figures have allegedly told others they were buying influence with Joe Biden, and Hunter himself repeatedly invoked his father’s name — including a text exchange with a Chinese businessman in which he said his father was sitting next to him as Hunter demanded millions in payment. While some Democrats now admit that Hunter was selling the “illusion” of influence and access to his father, these figures clearly believed they were getting more than an illusion. That includes one Ukrainian businessman who reportedly described Hunter as dumber than his dog.

Third, specific demands were made on Hunter, including dealing with the threat of a Ukrainian prosecutor to the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, where Hunter was given a lucrative board position. Five days later, Joe Biden forced the Ukrainians to fire the prosecutor, even though State Department and intelligence reports suggested that progress was being made on corruption. Likewise, despite warnings from State Department officials that Hunter was undermining anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine, he continued to receive high-level meetings with then-Secretary of State John Kerry and other State Department officials.

Fourth, Hunter repeatedly stated in emails that he paid his father as much as half of what he earned. There also are references to deals that included free office space and other perks for Joe Biden and his wife; other emails reference how Joe and Hunter Biden would use the same accounts and credit cards. Beyond those alleged direct benefits, Joe Biden clearly benefited from money going to his extended family.

Fifth, there is evidence of alleged criminal conduct by Hunter that could be linked to covering up these payments, from the failure to pay taxes to the failure to register as a foreign lobbyist. What is not established is the assumption by many that Joe Biden was fully aware of both the business dealings and any efforts to conceal them.

The White House is reportedly involved in marshaling the media to swat down any further investigation. In a letter drafted by the White House Counsel’s office, according to a CNN report media executives were told they need to “ramp up their scrutiny” of House Republicans “for opening an impeachment inquiry based on lies.” It is a dangerous erosion of separation between the White House and the president’s personal legal team. Yet, many in the media have previously followed such directions from the Biden team — from emphasizing the story that the laptop might be “Russian disinformation” to an unquestioning acceptance of the president’s denial of any knowledge of his son’s dealings.

Notably, despite the vast majority of media echoing different defenses for the Bidens for years, the American public is not buying it. Polls show that most Americans view the Justice Department as compromised and Hunter Biden as getting special treatment for his alleged criminal conduct. According to a recent CNN poll, 61% of Americans believe Joe Biden was involved in his family’s business deals with China and Ukraine; only 1% say he was involved but did nothing wrong.

The American public should not harbor such doubts over corruption at the highest levels of our government. Thus, the House impeachment inquiry will allow Congress to use the very apex of its powers to force disclosures of key evidence and resolve some of these troubling questions. It may not result in an impeachment, but it will result in greater clarity. Indeed, it is that very clarity that many in Washington may fear the most from this inquiry.

Stuart Varney: ‘Bidenomics’ is not a pretty picture; It’s making us poorer | Fox Business

During his “My Take,” Thursday, “Varney & Co.” host Stuart Varney shredded Biden’s economic agenda, arguing Federal Reserve money printing and massive spending, which is “Bidenomics,” led to record inflation – and that every income group in America losing ground.

STUART VARNEY

The U.S. Census Bureau just took down “Bidenomics.” Economists may rant and politicians may spin, but the hard numbers don’t lie.

WORK HARDER, BUY LESS – THIS IS THE FAILURE OF BIDENOMICS: KUDLOW

“Bidenomics” is making us poorer.

Inflation is the cause and inflation is the result of money printing by the Federal Reserve, and, yes the massive spending, which is “Bidenomics.”

Not to mention the ending of our energy independence.

In 2022, the inflation-adjusted income for men dropped $3,620, it dropped $2,880 for women.

ECONOMISTS SLAM BIDEN FOR ‘UTTERLY APPALLING’ CLAIM ABOUT BIDENOMICS: ‘A NIGHTMARE’

Every income group lost ground. The poor lost more than the wealthy. That’s always the case when inflation hits.

Middle America, and here let’s single out the upwardly mobile strivers making $94,000 to $153,000.

That group lost $4,600 in 2022.

If elections are fought and lost on the economy, the Biden-Harris ticket is not looking good, especially when Republicans will endlessly bring up Trump’s stellar economy.

So now what? “Bidenomics” part two. The Green New Deal. More spending. Gigantic deficits.

BIDEN’S FAILED ECONOMY: HERE’S WHAT THOSE INFLATION NUMBERS REALLY MEAN FOR CONSUMERS, BUSINESSES

Massive subsidies and possibly a rebound for inflation.

It’s not a pretty picture, but then again, Bidenomics never was.

YouTube Censoring Evidence Of Ukrainian Troops Embracing Nazi Symbols | The Gateway Pundit

If you have some genuine information about Nazis in Ukraine, YouTube will prevent you from posting. I tried repeatedly tonight to upload the second video below to YouTube. No deal. The algorithm identified the Nazi content and refused to allow me to upload the video to my YouTube channel. So much for free speech (I had to use Rumble). Repeated denials from Ukraine enthusiasts in America and Europe collapse in the face of these videos and images. This is not AI manufactured content. It is an honest presentation of what some of the units in the Ukrainian Army are celebrating and embracing enthusiastically.

However, remember the “Nazi” Boneface? Turns out he is a fake Nazi and, according to information obtained by Laura Loomer (and I can confirm her source is legit), Boneface is a Confidential Human Informant being run by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Boneface has never been in Ukraine, despite his claims to the contrary. And he is not a CIA asset and the CIA has not paid him a dime to travel overseas. DHS has been trying to use him to keep tabs on the American Nazi movement despite his documented criminal past. I will write in detail about this tomorrow.

Lest you think that YouTube rejects all Nazi content, think again. YouTube is quite happy to allow a documentary on rightwing American Nazis. No problem. Here is one example:

Now look at the following video. This is genuine footage from Ukraine. Americans need to ask themselves a hard question — do we really want to continue to spend billions of dollars propping up a regime that is supported by die-hard Nazis?

Ukraine’s cyber warfare unit is not sitting still. They are churning out provably false information to try to discredit anyone who claims that there are active Nazis in Ukraine. How so? Let me show you one of the images sent to Laura Loomer to ostensibly prove Boneface was in Ukraine. Take a look at the following two images. The top one is allegedly Boneface standing next to a civilian corpse in Ukraine. But it is a sloppy photoshop. Look at the mouth in the top image. The tattoo on the upper lip matches one on the upper lip of Boneface. But that image is a forgery. Look at the second image. That is the original. Notice the different angle on the mouth.

This image is being used by elements of Ukrainian intelligence to discredit Loomer and anyone else who buys into the fantastical tale of Boneface’s claim that he was fighting in Ukraine. He has never been there.

Here is Roger Stone’s interview of Laura. She goes into some important details about Boneface and his ties to the U.S. Government. I do not have a problem with U.S. law enforcement using informants to penetrate genuine Nazi organizations. But I do have a problem when the U.S. Government handlers are facilitating criminal activity and tacitly supporting Ukraine’s efforts to discredit the evidence that there is a living, breathing Nazi element at the heart of Ukraine’s Government and military. More tomorrow.

Max Blumenthal: SecState Tony Blinken Stands to “Make a Lot of Money” Off Ukraine war | The Gateway Pundit

Max Blumenthal: SecState Tony Blinken Stands to “Make a Lot of Money” Off Ukraine war

Volodymyr Zelensky and Antony Blinken

Speaking to host Russell Brand, leftist Grayzone editor-in-chief Max Blumenthal pointed out that US Secretary of State Tony Blinken stands to “make a lot of money off this war“ through his company WestExec . Ukraine has been “drunk” off of “delusional fantasies out of Washington that they can somehow ‘win’,” Blumenthal said.

“Tony Blinken was recently in Kiev for a more extended period than usual, probably to put the idea of negotiations on the table,” Blumenthal claimed. “This is because of the colossal failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive, which the US has been heavily involved in.”

The Gateway Pundit is one of the only media in the US reporting about the catastrophic Meat Grinder the US and UK pushed Ukraine into, which has cost approx. 72,000 Ukrainian casualties since June, according to Russian estimates. Blinken visited Kiev Sept. 6, where he met with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and President Volodymyr Zelensky, promising another $1 billion in US aid. US funds for Ukraine stand at $110.97 billion, Fox News reported on Tuesday.

“They failed to capture any real territory. They were supposed to cut off the land bridge between Russia and Crimea, which is not going to happen,” Blumenthal said. “Soon there’s going to be rain in the eastern plains of the Donbass region, and it’s going to be impossible to get armor through there.”

“It’s a total failure, so why can’t they negotiate?” Blumenthal asked. “Number one, why should Russia negotiate at this point, when the West has stabbed them…  and sabotaged negotiations at every turn, leading to this proxy war? Back in April 2022, the US canceled negotiations between Zelensky and the Kremlin and said, ‘Keep fighting’. And they sabotaged the Minsk Accords before that. So why trust the West?”

“And why negotiate when you could actually start capturing more and more territory?” Blumenthal asked, “Given the terrible state of Ukraine’s military and the hundreds of thousands of casualties they’ve suffered? They don’t have much left, apparently.”

Blumenthal also pointed out that US Secretary of State Tony Blinken, “Has major skin in the game when it comes to continuing this war. He founded a firm called WestExec Advisors, which finesses contracts for the arms industry and Big Tech through the Pentagon and the State Department – him and his former colleagues from the Obama Administration founded this firm to profit off their connections with the major winners of the Ukraine proxy war: Raytheon, LockheedMartin, Palantir – all the Beltway Bandits, as we call them here in Washington.”

Past WestExec partners have included DNI Avril Haines, former Biden spokeswoman Jen Psaki and CIA deputy director David Cohen, The Intercept reported 2021.

“If Tony Blinken leaves government, he could make a lot of money off this war, as long as it’s still continuing,” Blumenthal said. “That could be a frozen conflict, where Ukraine is just constantly at war with Russia and its entire society is securitized and mobilized. The tech industry is gonna love that as well because everyone’s gonna be under surveillance, drones and cameras everywhere.”

“Why would they want to end this conflict?” the son of Clinton adviser Sidney Blumenthal asked. “They’re the real winners of this war.”

The Grayzone editor Blumenthal criticized “the hatred of Russia that prevails among the Democratic Party foreign policy elite, but also within the Republican Party, the idea that we can’t ‘lose’ this war, that this is about ‘Democracy’.”

“There’s all these obstacles to negotiations,” Blumenthal said, “but obviously the war isn’t going well. There’s no progress for Ukraine in this war. They should’ve negotiated over a year ago, but they’ve been drunk off of these delusional fantasies spun out of Washington that they can somehow ‘win’, when Victory’s never even defined.”

Journalists Anxiously Wait For Email From Biden Administration With Today’s Instructions | Babylon Bee

Article Image

WASHINGTON, D.C. — As the sun rose on a new day in America, the staunch guardians of free speech and journalistic integrity that is the media eagerly waited for the daily email from the Biden administration to notify them of the day’s official instructions and talking points.

“We don’t say a word without knowing what they want us to say,” said Joe Scarborough, co-host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe. “If the administration doesn’t provide us with a bulleted list of things to talk about, we’re lost. I mean, seriously, what would we do without the White House giving specific instructions? Objectively discuss current events? Report the news? Don’t be ridiculous.”

In the age of social media and mass internet access, the public at large has grown bewildered by the mainstream media’s blatant refusal to discuss anything related to Joe Biden and his family being involved in alleged corruption scandals. When questioned, members of the media were quick to play defense. “That’s not our job,” said CNN anchor Jake Tapper. “Reporting the news is not the job of news reporters. We’re here to propagate the government’s official narrative. Besides, there are no scandals involving the Biden family. None. Zero.”

At publishing time, journalists had cheered as the Administration instructed them to cover something about Taylor Swift since there was definitely no news of note going on at the White House.

Reject Masks and Mask Mandates Says the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons | Ron Paul Institute for Peace And Prosperity

undefined
You may have expected that by now all the mask pushers would have presented their mea culpas. But, some of them still cling to and bluster on about quack assertions that wearing masks is important for stopping the spread of coronavirus, as well as totally safe.

Anthony Fauci, the United States government’s former chief coronavirus fearmonger, is among these “wear your mask” diehards. Earlier this month, he was still advising that people wear masks to counter the threat of coronavirus despite the continually growing mountain of evidence that this course is both ineffective in achieving the stated objective and dangerous to one’s health.

With many individuals working in government, media, and medicine trying to stir up fear of new “variants” of coronavirus, expect more calls to “mask up” — as the American Medical Association puts it — and even the imposition of new mask mandates.

In their effort to protect freedom and health in the face of new pressure to wear masks, individuals can look to a statement issued Tuesday by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) for succinct information countering the “wear your mask” demand.

The AAPS statement lays out quickly and clearly that masks threaten multiple medical problems for wearers and fail at preventing the spread of coronavirus. The statement further argues that mask mandates are intolerable because they violate the fundamental medical principle of informed consent. And the statement provides links to supporting evidence.

The AAPS statement concludes with the following:

As masking mandates are contrary to the fundamental medical principle of informed consent, all masking mandates currently in place must be rescinded, and no future mandates should be imposed.

Furthermore, since masking mandates for viral illnesses provide no clear benefits, while creating potential for harm, individuals should be empowered to choose to not observe such mandates that are either currently in existence or that may be imposed in the future.

‘No Apologies’ From ‘Weaponized’ Banks Canceling Faith Groups

An increasing number of Christian and conservative organizations say they’re being ‘de-banked.’ Accounts are closed, payment processors are turned off, or some are placed on a donor ‘blacklist.’

Banking and financial services have become weaponized. Christian and conservative groups labeled ‘high risk’ can be denied financial services, and it’s happening under the cover of federal banking laws.

Among the victims? Indigenous Advance Ministries, which helps orphans and widows in Africa. Its account was closed by Bank of America.

Top Doctor Explains Why “Turbo Cancer” Rates Are Likely to Get Even Worse (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit

This article originally appeared on VigilantNews.com and was republished with permission.

“These cancers that normally would be kept in check by the body are unexpectedly growing very quickly.”

“We know that the COVID vaccines have done various degrees of damage to the immune system in a fraction of people who’ve taken them,” attested Dr. Harvey Risch in a recent interview with The Epoch Times.

“And that damage could be anywhere from getting COVID more often, getting other infectious diseases, and perhaps it may also be cancer in the longer term,” he warned.

Dr. Risch is a Professor Emeritus of Epidemiology at Yale University with a professional background in cancer. And he is not alone in his concern. Doctors such as renowned pathologist Ryan Cole have been sounding the alarm on a new phenomenon known as “turbo cancer.” Turbo cancer is a slang term for the recent emergence of aggressive cancers that grow very quickly.

“Because of the dysregulation of the immune responses and the suppression of the immune system by these genetic-based injections … these cancers that normally would be kept in check by the body are unexpectedly growing very quickly,” said Dr. Ryan Cole in a past interview with Children’s Health Defense.

But the worst may be yet to come.

“The idea that a new product like the [COVID] vaccines could cause cancer is not something that’s going to be observable overnight,” explained Dr. Risch.

“Cancer as a disease takes a long time to manifest itself from when it starts, from the first cells that go haywire until they grow to be large enough to be diagnosed or to be symptomatic, can take anywhere from two or three years for the blood cancers, like leukemias and lymphomas, to five years for lung cancer, to 20 years for bladder cancer, or 30, 35 years for colon cancer, and so on.”

“So these are long-term events,” said Dr. Risch, “and if you suddenly introduce a new product like the vaccines, the first thing you might expect to see would be the blood cancers that I mentioned but not the other kinds of cancers.”

Blood-related disorders are already showing up in the UK data.

Data analyst Edward Dowd shed light on yearly UK PIP clearances (payments) by body system earlier this year, using different metrics for 2020, 2021, and 2022. And what he found was hematological (blood-related) claims were up a staggering 522% above trend in 2022.

But it’s not just blood-related disorders.

Cancers that normally take ten, twenty, or thirty years to develop, theoretically sped up by immune-suppressing COVID shots, could surface at increased rates in the long term, Dr. Risch hinted.

But we’re already seeing signs of this happening as young people, in the prime of their lives, are suffering from cancer at unprecedented rates.

26-year-old YouTuber Colby Brock shared his testicular cancer diagnosis with his subscribers on July 9, 2023. Dr. William Makis has done an entire deep dive into young social media influencers getting cancer on his Substack page.

According to Dr. Risch, if a 25-year-old develops colon cancer without a family history of the disease, “that’s basically impossible along the known paradigm for how colon cancer works.” He added that other long-latency cancers are surfacing in very young people. “This is just not the normal occurrence of how cancer works.”

“Because these cancers have been occurring in people who are too young to get them, basically, compared to the normal way it works, they’ve been designated as turbo cancers,” Dr. Risch added.

“Some of these cancers are so aggressive that between the time that they’re first seen and when they come back for treatment after a few weeks, they’ve grown dramaticallycompared to what oncologists would have expected.”

Dr. Risch offered an explanation as to why this is happening.

“There has to be some initiating stimulus,” he said. As Dr. Risch mentioned before, “The COVID vaccines have done various degrees of damage to the immune system in a fraction of people who’ve taken them.”

“In my opinion, cancer is something that the body normally fights off because the cells that get created when they go haywire — the immune system mostly recognizes and manages to gobble them up or disable them so that they don’t progress. But if you damage the immune system in a way that limits the ability to recognize or to disable newly-growing, deranged cancer cells, then that opens the door to them multiplying to the point where it’s beyond the immune system to cope. And that’s the mechanism, I think, that’s the most likely here.”

Dr. Risch’s full interview with The Epoch Times is available to watch via the link below:

Reporter Gets Destroyed After Claiming ‘No Evidence’ for Biden Impeachment

“The impeachment inquiry doesn’t need to convince the public Joe Biden is corrupt; they know it already. The mainstream media may be pushing the narrative that this is about political revenge, but the evidence of political corruption has been out there for some time.”

(Matt Margolis – PJ Media) While conservative media has been reporting on the evidence of Biden family corruption for some time now, the mainstream has been turning a blind eye to it, even actively dismissing evidence and testimony. So when a reporter told Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) that

Americans “can’t see” evidence that Biden committed any crimes meriting impeachment, Perry shot back with receipts.

“Can I just ask,” began U.K. Channel 4 Washington correspondent Siobhan Kennedy, “what actual evidence do you have as opposed to allegations to show to the American people that would merit an actual impeachment inquiry of Joe Biden, and prove that today isn’t just […] for the sake of enacting political revenge for the impeachment of Donald Trump.” View article →

G20 proposes digital ID similar to COVID-19 passport system to ‘further financial inclusion’ – Conservative Review

The G20 world leaders summit appear to have reached a consensus on digital identification and digital currency, announcing them as official policy proposals following the 2023 gathering in India.

In a document of official policy recommendations titled “G20 policy recommendations for advancing financial inclusion and productivity gains through digital public infrastructure,” the term “digital ID” appears 83 times.

“Digital IDs could further financial inclusion,” the document claimed, “especially in low- and middle-income countries, where insufficient documentation is often a barrier to account ownership.”

“Inclusive access rules by digital ID systems and reasonable costs for both public and private entities would enable broad adoption of these solutions by different types of providers.”

The digital ID is part of a broader recommendation of “Digital Public Infrastructure” that “in general, includes digital ID, digital payments, and data exchange in the financial sector.”

During the summit, Ursula von der Leyen, the appointed (not elected) EU Commission President, continued a strong push for digital ID based on COVID-19 passport systems.

“Many of you are familiar with the COVID-19 digital certificate. The EU developed it for itself. The model was so functional and so trusted that 51 countries on four continents adopted it for free,” said von der Leyen, according to NTD.

“Today, the WHO uses it as a global standard to facilitate mobility in times of health threats. I want to thank Dr. Tedros again for the excellent cooperation,” she added.

She continued on social media to say “the future is digital. I passed two messages to the G20. We should establish a framework for safe, responsible AI, with a similar body as the [Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change]. Digital public infrastructures are an accelerator of growth. They must be trusted, interoperable & open to all.”

The G20 policy proposal document pulls from, and cites a 2018 World Bank document on digital ID. In it, the World Bank describes digital ID as something that should be required to participate in the economy and society as a whole:

“A unique, legal identity is necessary to allow all individuals to participate fully in society and the economy. The ability to prove one’s identity underlies the ability to access basic services and entitlements from healthcare through to pensions and agriculture subsidies.”

The document also reveals that the digital ID program is one of the United Nations’ “Sustainable Development Goals, which calls for all UN member States to ‘provide legal identity for all, including birth registration’ by 2030.”
