There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
Have you ever wondered what it truly means to live as a professing Christian?
It’s a question that digs deep into the core of our faith and challenges us to examine our actions in the light of God’s law.
In the book of Romans, Paul raises a crucial point: “For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in relation to righteousness. Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death” (Romans 6:20–21).
In the realm of grace, some may mistake it as a license to sin. But let me tell you, this is a grave misunderstanding. If you claim to be under grace but continue to live in sin without any evidence of sanctification, then you might be deceiving yourself.
You say, “I am justified,” but where is the proof of your sanctified life? Justification and sanctification are intertwined; they walk hand in hand.
Let me make this clear: If death is your master, then you’re heading down a perilous path. As professing believers, our lives should reflect a journey of holiness — a journey that serves as evidence of our faith in God.
Sadly, this notion contradicts the prevalent “easy beliefism” that has infiltrated our churches today. It’s the idea that someone can make a decision for Christ, yet their life remains unchanged. Such deceit is apparent to everyone in the congregation.
But, the Bible speaks unequivocally on this matter. It is a shame for any church to provide assurance to such individuals. Love, true love, demands honesty.
We must tell them the uncomfortable truth: they may not be genuine Christians. They have been led astray, and their safety is at stake. As it is written, “Not everyone who says to me ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven…”
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. (Ezekiel 36:25)
What an exceeding joy is this! He who has purified us with the blood of Jesus will also cleanse us by the water of the Holy Spirit. God hath said it, and so it must be, “Ye shall be clean.” Lord, we feel and mourn our uncleanness, and it is cheering to be assured by Thine own mouth that we shall be clean. Oh, that Thou wouldst make a speedy work of it!
He will deliver us from our worst sins. The uprisings of unbelief and the deceitful lusts which war against the soul, the vile thoughts of pride, and the suggestions of Satan to blaspheme the sacred name-all these shall be so purged away as never to return.
He will also cleanse us from all our idols, whether of gold or of clay: our impure loves and our excessive love of that which in itself is pure. That which we have idolized shall either be broken from us or we shall be broken off from it.
It is God who speaks of what He Himself will do. Therefore is this word established and sure, and we may boldly look for that which it guarantees to us. Cleansing is a covenant blessing, and the covenant is ordered in all things and sure.
Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. ~ Psalm 1:1-3
This passage begins our journey through the Psalms, a book written mostly by David, which is filled with turmoil and triumph, tears and joy, battles and victories. What a great declaration we read in the first few verses of this chapter, reminding us of the place of blessing we can have in our position of delighting in the Lord.
By the rivers of water, This is where I want to be.
Wouldn’t you love to be like the tree in Verse 3 that is firmly planted by the rivers of water and is fruitful and prospers? Isn’t this the life we want to live in the Lord? This is the life He has promised to those who walk in close relationship with Him. It starts with a choice: Will we choose to follow the ways of an ungodly world, or will we choose to delight in the Lord?
What does “delighting in the Lord” mean? It’s certainly more than having a casual relationship with Him. It happens as a result of consistently spending time building a rich and fulfilling relationship with God that leaves you wanting more. Spending intimate time with the Lord enables you to grow in a faith that is steadfast and firm. If you seek the Lord and follow after Him, you will delight in Him. To know Him is to delight in Him.
What is your desire? Do you long to be firmly planted by the rivers of water, solid and secure, delighting in the Lord day by day?
“And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not. They are not part of this world any more than I am.” John 17:14, 16
In His last night Jesus took pains to make clear to His disciples the impassible gulf between Him and the world and also between them and the world (John 16:16-21). He had said of the Spirit: “The world at large cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him.” (John 14:17). “The world would love you if you belonged to it, but you don’t. I chose you to come out of the world, and so it hates you.” (John 15:19)
One great mark of the disciples was to be as little a part of the world as Christ was. Christ and the disciples had become united in the cross and the Resurrection; they both belonged to another world, the kingdom of heaven.
Why is it that faith in the Holy Spirit is practiced so little by Christians?
The world rules too much in the lives of Christians. The “world offers only the lust for physical pleasure, the lust for everything we see, and pride in possessions” (1 John 2:16) – all this robs the heart of its desire for that true self-denial necessary for receiving the Holy Spirit.

Seven-Year Plan The United Nations recently announced that they need “7 Years of Accelerated, Transformative Action to Achieve SDGs.” The SDGs are the 17 “Sustainable Development Goals” that the U.N. put in place eight years ago through which they intend to establish a one-world government. heads of state and government must recommit to seven years of accelerated, sustained and transformative action, both nationally and internationally, to deliver on the promise of the SDGs. Is the fact that the globalists of our day are thinking in terms of “seven years” prophetically significant? Those who believe that the 70 weeks of Daniel 9:24-27 remain relevant for our day would answer “yes.”

On this day in Patriot history, our nation’s first and greatest president, George Washington, published his Farewell Address, which we also carry on our extensive Historic Documents page. The extent of California’s cultural and social debauchery was exemplified in this one violent act.
Mark Alexander
For many years, The Patriot Post has published an End of Watch memorial page, tributes to officers killed in the line of duty.
The last time I wrote about the murder of a police officer in California was two years ago, after Los Angeles DA George Gascon released a felony offender who then killed two officers.
At the time, LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva, a strong critic of Gascon, protested: “Gascon’s policies have grave consequences. Unfortunately, it’s the innocent person who pays the price. In this case, two cops are just doing their jobs. George Gascon’s self-proclaimed ‘science-driven’ reforms have eviscerated the entire architecture of our justice system and mock the oath of office he took. His reforms victimize our victims even more after the tragedies they suffered. Not even peace officers are safe from his science experiments.”
Last weekend, a third generation law enforcement officer, LA County Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer, was murdered by a sociopathic assailant, as he was stopped at a traffic light outside the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station. He was 30 years old, following in the blue line tradition of his father and grandfather.
DA Gascon asserted: “I extend my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family, friends, and colleagues of Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer, who made the ultimate sacrifice last night in the line of duty. We mourn the loss of a dedicated and courageous deputy, whose unwavering commitment to upholding the law and ensuring the safety of our community will never be forgotten. We stand united with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and all of our law enforcement community in this time of profound grief, and we will tirelessly pursue justice for Deputy Clinkunbroomer.”
Gov. Gavin Newsom said: “In this time of mourning, we honor this legacy and send our deepest sympathies to Deputy Clinkunbroomer’s fiancée, his loved ones, and the men and women of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Deputy Clinkunbroomer’s devotion to community and country will never be forgotten.”
Notably AWOL was leftist cop-hating Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, who was apparently too busy worrying about her “sanctuary city” being overrun by illegal immigrants, and the deadly “fentanyl crisis” they have brought with them.
There were no words of condemnation for Gascon and Newsom from their lap dog, LA County Sheriff Robert Luna, who succeeded Sheriff Villanueva in 2022. For his part, Luna said: “Our hearts go out to his family. We cannot fully understand their pain, but we will stand with them in solidarity and support them during this difficult time. They deserve unwavering compassion, and we will do everything in our power to provide them with assistance and care.”
If Luna was truly committed to stand with his deputy’s family and all of his other deputies, much less the people of California he has sworn to protect, he would have done what his predecessor did and call out Gascon and Newsom for creating the lawless culture where the ambush/murder of this young deputy was deemed justifiable by his assailant.
The extent of California’s cultural and social debauchery was exemplified in this one violent act.
Ryan’s family issued this statement: “Our son Ryan was a dedicated, hard-working Deputy Sheriff, who enjoyed working here at the Palmdale Station. He was proud to work along the side of his partners, that he considered brothers and sisters as he sacrificed daily to better the community that he served. Ryan made the ultimate sacrifice in doing so.”
I ask for your prayers for his family, friends, and his fellow law enforcement officers.
Joe Biden’s $6 billion prisoner swap will yield more bad situations for Americans abroad down the road.
Nate Jackson
President Joe Biden, 80, addressed the 78th UN General Assembly this morning in New York City, the day after his administration finalized a deal with Iran for $6 billion and freeing five Iranians in U.S. custody in exchange for the release of five Americans imprisoned in Iran and two others apparently prevented from leaving the country. Biden clearly wants that deal to bolster his image, but what other world leaders will see is the same as what we do — a weak old man and a feckless leader.
Iran President Ebrahim Raisi is also speaking at the UN today, and it’s with a bit more pep in his step. And why not? His regime just secured the unfreezing of $6 billion in assets owed by South Korea in exchange for five Americans. The Biden administration insisted that the money be devoted to humanitarian efforts; the Iranian regime said the money will be spent however the Iranian regime decides. Money is fungible in any case.
Moreover, as soon as those funds were freed, Iran promptly began barring UN inspectors from its nuclear sites. The world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism happens to be awfully defiant as a general rule.
Now, to be sure, we’re glad for the hostages and their loved ones that they’re free, and seeing them disembark the plane was heartwarming. Imprisonment in Iran (or any number of other tyrannical states), even on legitimate charges, isn’t something to take lightly. The five Americans were detained for years, but they have now walked free off a plane on U.S. soil.
But that doesn’t mean Biden’s deal was a good one.
Monday’s prisoner release could be “a step in the direction of a humanitarian action between us and America,” boasted Raisi. “It can definitely help in building trust.” It shouldn’t because there are few less trustworthy nations than Raisi’s Iran.
As we already mentioned, Iran does far more to sponsor terrorism than it does to fund anything remotely humanitarian. That’s what makes the regime’s nuclear program so problematic. It’s for peaceful purposes, the world is routinely told, but as the Associated Press notes, Iran “now enriches uranium closer than ever to weapons-grade levels.”
Team Biden has made no secret of the fact that one of its priorities is to work to free Americans detained abroad. We just marked the two year anniversary of Biden’s disgraceful retreat from Afghanistan, which did not include getting every American to safety before surrendering the nation back to the Taliban we evicted two decades ago.
“To date, under this administration, we have now brought 30 Americans home from places around the world where they were being unjustly detained,” boasted Secretary of State Antony Blinken. “That work will continue.”
Yet making such a humanitarian-sounding goal a focal point all but guarantees future hostage taking. It can be a lucrative business, after all, when a weak American president is willing to pay dearly.
Not to worry, say Blinken. “At the same time, we’re going to be working every single day to take steps to make this practice more and more difficult and more and more of a burden on those countries that engage in it.”
Hostile world leaders must be chuckling. Indeed, Iran seized two of the hostages released in this deal not long after the last deal done by the Obama administration. No wonder the Biden administration also advised Americans not to travel to Iran.
We would advise American voters to elect a different president who won’t fold like a cheap suit in the face of antagonistic regimes.
That missing F-35: An F-35 jet that crashed and went missing following the pilot ejecting has been found. The incident occurred after an undefined “mishap” during the flight led to the pilot’s ejecting while the jet was in autopilot. The pilot parachuted to safety, though the jet, known for its stealth technology, was temporarily lost. Due to the failure to quickly locate the craft and identify the cause of the incident, the Marine Corps enacted a two-day stand down for all aviation units both in and outside of the U.S. The wreckage of the jet was found in Williamsburg County, South Carolina, about two hours northeast of Joint Base Charleston.
The military gender-benders: It turns out that using woke gender-bending messaging doesn’t work well for boosting the U.S. military’s recruitment efforts. The U.S. Navy has ended its “Digital Ambassador Pilot Program,” the online recruiting effort that featured a drag queen, Yeoman 2nd Class Joshua Kelley, who went by the stage name Harpy Daniels. When the drag queen enlistment initiative was brought to Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville’s attention, he demanded the identity of the officers tasked with funding drag queen shows on ships. This combined with a backlash from many military veterans and missed recruitment goals led to the Navy scrapping the program. Meanwhile, a “clarification” offered over the Pentagon’s gender pronoun policy has only served to underscore the DOD’s commitment to woke ideology, even if Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley doesn’t know what that word means.
California sues Big Oil: Did oil companies cause climate change? Well, that is the assertion behind a lawsuit California raised against the oil industry. “The companies that have polluted our air, choked our skies with smoke, wreaked havoc on our water cycle, and contaminated our lands must be made to mitigate the harms they have brought upon the State,” the suit claims. The lawsuit bases those claims on the work of a scientist — James Black, who, working for Exxon back in 1977, warned of climate change caused by the burning of fossil fuels. Of course, Black’s alarmism never came to fruition, even though his claims have now gained widespread acceptance. What this lawsuit amounts to is a shakedown of an industry that not only the U.S. but all world economies depend upon to function. Talk about biting the hand that feeds.
‘Body positivity’ is killing people: Fat shaming is bad because it’s rude and hurts people’s feelings, but it doesn’t kill people like “body positivity” is doing. The number of people dying from heart disease due to obesity in 2020 was three times higher than it was in 1999. And this despite the fact that, over the last two decades, overall heart-related deaths have decreased by 20%. Unfortunately, the obesity problem is only getting worse, as roughly 115 million Americans are obese, including 42% of adults and 20% of children. But fear over “fat shaming” has resulted in the false claims that obesity is not only “beautiful,” but that it “is healthy,” as the magazine Cosmopolitan has claimed. Journalist Glenn Greenwald argues, “Those who glorify obesity, or denounce efforts to reduce it, are dangerous … [and] have blood on their hands.”
Dems’ wrong ‘24 predictions: Democrat strategies for retaining the White House are not panning out as expected. The indictments of Donald Trump have served to elevate his profile more than anticipated — and not as a criminal villain, but as a popular folk hero standing against Washington’s two-tiered system of injustice. Likewise, scuttling the Hunter Biden laptop story only served to elevate it, exposing the scope of the Bidens’ corrupt operation. The DNC believed that Trump scares people so badly no one will dare defect from the Democrats’ camp. Yet leftist radical Cornel West is mounting a presidential run, and RFK Jr. is hinting about going third party, and both are causing some panic within the party. Biden’s base is crumbling, and the vast majority of Americans believe he is in no condition to seek a second term.
Good news: Lottery for fostering: A British couple, Mark and Kathleen Reece, who have long desired to take in foster kids but lacked the room to do so, now will be expanding their little house. The couple won over £100,000 from a lottery ticket that the husband bought on a whim while shopping for groceries. “My three kids will be leaving home soon and I have too much love to give,” Kathleen explained. “I’ve always wanted to foster, however having enough space has always been an issue. Thanks to the win, it’ll no longer be a problem. I’m so happy we can finally fulfill our dream.”

By suggesting a government workaround to the city’s shoplifting epidemic, Mayor Brandon Johnson shows he’s not up to the job.
Douglas Andrews
Thirty years ago, every conservative’s favorite liberal, New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, published a piece in the American Scholar — stay with us — titled “Defining Deviancy Down.” Sadly, but predictably, that essay has withstood the test of time.
Moynihan began by lamenting what sociologist Emile Durkheim posited nearly a century earlier: that crime and criminal behavior are a normal part of society and thus shouldn’t be seen as deviant. Consequently, as Moynihan wrote, we’ve developed a coping mechanism — a painkiller, as it were — by which we downplay the deviancy, we trivialize it — whether it’s crime or mental illness or homelessness or transgenderism or the breakdown of the American family. As the late Charles Krauthammer put it, we’ve learned to cope with societal deviancy through “a singular form of denial: We deal with the epidemic simply by defining away most of the disease.”
Perhaps nowhere is this leveling of the moral landscape more apparent than it is in Chicago, where the black-on-black genocide proceeds apace on the city’s South Side, and where the lesser criminality of shoplifting has eroded the profitability of area shops and stores, and has caused even hardy retailers such as Walmart to pack it in.
Our intent isn’t to kick Chicago while it’s down. Indeed, we could just as easily be kicking San Francisco, whose soft-on-crime policies have scared away more than two-dozen retailers, many of them long-established — from Nordstrom to Whole Foods to Walgreens.
What drew us to Chicago, though, was the shoplifting solution recently proposed by hard-left Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson.
Did he propose a crackdown, perhaps? A cop on every street corner and a commitment to stiffer sentencing for the perpetrators? Maybe some Philadelphia-style freedom, in which retailers post armed guards outside their stores? A relaxing of the city’s Second Amendment ban for retail store employees, and a Good Samaritan law for store clerks who choose to defend themselves and their livelihoods and their merchandise instead of cowering?
Get real.
Johnson is proposing to open city-owned grocery stores to serve neighborhoods that have become “food deserts” — which is to say, neighborhoods that no longer have nearby grocery stores due to the recent closure of four Walmart stores and a Whole Foods. As the New York Post reports, “Johnson announced last week that his administration would partner with the nonprofit advocacy group Economic Security Project to put stores in underserved areas of the city — a proposal Republicans called something out of ‘Soviet-style central planning.’”
Today, Mayor Brandon Johnson announced a partnership with the Economic Security Project to start on a pathway towards the opening of a municipally owned grocery store in Chicago. The Economic Security Project, a national non-profit dedicated to building economic power for all Americans, will provide technical assistance in determining a pathway to the first municipally owned grocery store in Chicago. This collaboration furthers the Johnson administration’s work towards repairing past harms that have contributed to purposeful disinvestment and exclusion and lack of food access in historically underserved communities.
Notice how the mayor blames retailers for “purposeful disinvestment and exclusion and lack of food access.” If they’re losing money by the truckload, why on earth should they stick around?
“In the coming weeks,” said Hizzoner in a separate press release, “we will be taking a much closer look at the challenges we face, and how we will address those challenges reasonably and responsibly, and not on the backs of workers and working families.”
This is appeasement, plain and simple; a willful defining down of the real problem and a failure to address it head-on. If Chicagoans think the price of groceries is too high already, just wait until the government gets involved.
“Take all the problems private chains face in low-income areas, then add in amateur management by a bureaucracy, Chicago-style political corruption in hiring and contracting, and a limited range of products,” said Chicago Republican Party Chairman Steve Boulton. “Food deserts do exist in Chicago neighborhoods, but the answer is promoting capitalist prosperity and stopping crime, not injecting more socialist dependency.”
Were Patrick Moynihan alive today, were he around to hear the suggestion by the mayor of one of our nation’s great cities — that we combat shoplifting not by cracking down on the crime itself but instead by creating a big-government workaround — we suspect the normally loquacious lawmaker and former college professor would be stunned into silence.
The Golden State’s push for 100% electric vehicle sales by 2035 is meeting resistance not only from consumers but also autoworkers and federal legislators.
Michael Swartz
Energy Secretary Jenny Granholm recently experienced some humorous trouble on her road trip promoting the sale of electric vehicles. It may have been good for a laugh, but in a dozen years the joke will be on us because of an EPA waiver California received decades ago and how far the state’s Democrats have run with it.
Including the not-so-Golden State itself, states that have adopted California’s rules mandating 100% EV sales by 2035 comprise about 40% of the American automobile market, which itself has moved on from the econobox cars of the 1980s that Detroit put out in part to comply with the fleet-wide mileage standards then in place. Today, however, the road is filled with trucks and SUVs because automakers have employed some flexibility within the regulations. While automakers now have EVs available in those pickup and SUV body styles, the sales of such vehicles are dwarfed by those of vehicles with standard gasoline-powered engines. EVs have been stacking up on dealer lots because few people want or can afford them, despite government incentives.
This situation led Florida Governor (and 2024 presidential candidate) Ron DeSantis to succinctly sum up the issue: “They announced that in a few years ‘all new sales in California must be electric.’ Then two days later they say, ‘all electric vehicles owners: don’t plug in your car because we have problems with the power grid.’ Are you kidding me?!”
And that’s the least of the problems — just ask a truck driver about California’s “totally impractical” idea of mandating electric tractor-trailers. “They might as well be saying, ‘Hey, build a spaceship and go to Mars,’” said one.
Ryan Mills at National Review puts it this way: “The [California] regulations are targeted at larger fleets — those with 50 or more trucks or that have $50 million or more in gross annual revenues — as well as at any firms or independent truckers who do drayage work in the state’s major seaports and rail yards. Starting January 1, those businesses will only be allowed to add zero-emission trucks to their fleets. Diesel trucks registered with the state by December 31 can be grandfathered in for a while.” How long is “a while”? Probably long enough for the smaller operators to wind up their affairs and move to DeSantis’s Florida, as one operator vows to do.
With a great portion of the public now on the hook to buy EVs in the years ahead — just 12 short years away — the Republican-controlled House has swung into action by passing what’s known as the Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act. The brilliantly named bill “would prevent the Environmental Protection Agency from issuing a new waiver to enable California’s standards to take effect,” The Daily Signal notes. “It also bars the EPA from certifying California as compliant with an existing waiver.” Though it was passed by Republicans, eight Democrats in vulnerable districts also went along, meaning it was a bipartisan bill.
That bill isn’t likely to survive in the Democrat-controlled Senate, though, and has already garnered a statement of disapproval from the “Robert L. Peters” administration should it somehow pass. But the effort to restore sanity to our automotive market is a two-pronged one, as three separate lawsuits are also progressing in federal court.
There’s a lot at stake. “As we know,” says The Heritage Foundation’s Steve Bradbury, “historically, gas-powered cars have been the freedom machine for Americans. There’s some feeling of freedom and independence in having a tank full of gas in your car in the garage. Well, that would all go away in a world where we’re talking about 100% electric. And, of course, a lot of people are not going to be able to afford those electric vehicles and are not going to want to buy them, so they’re going to be stuck driving older and older used vehicles. And that is not safe.”
All this is going on against the backdrop of the UAW strike in progress. Rather than the old method of selecting one automaker as a work stoppage target to set up a basic deal framework for the other two, in this case the UAW is targeting selected plants for each of the Big Three automakers (Ford, GM, and Stellantis, formerly Chrysler.)
EVs play a big role in that strike. Because EVs have fewer moving parts, they take fewer workers to build, and that flies in the face of Big Labor’s idea about job security — not to mention the 32-hour work week, restoration of defined-benefit pension plans, and the 46% pay raise the UAW is demanding at a time when most workers can’t even keep up with inflation.
Maybe the UAW should use its ill-gotten gains for maintaining our freedom of movement. We doubt their rank-and-file are as excited about EVs as our betters in the government seem to be, given that those EVs will bring about the demise of many of the automaking jobs they now hold. Hey, it’s tough to strike if you’re in the union of the unemployed.
The woke religions of gender-bending and climate worship threaten the very fabric of the nation.
Thomas Gallatin
As the pillars of culture crumble before our eyes, what’s left behind is not a sound structure so much as an increasing chaos. This cultural decay is seen most clearly in the expression of turning values on their heads. The words of the prophet Isaiah come to mind — “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”
In this topsy-turvy world, asking a simple question — “What is a woman?” — is seen as equal parts confusing and existential attack on the very men who have unilaterally asserted that only their own felt fantasies qualify as authoritative for defining their gender reality.
Language itself has come under attack by radicals claiming that allowing freedom of speech only empowers language to be used to do “violence.” Not direct violent action, mind you, but the fundamentally absurd notion that words are violence because they can offend people’s sensitivities.
This is a country that once valued the free expression of language. And one particular political party in the not-too-distant past championed freedom of speech as fundamental to the health of democracy, and regularly hid behind the shield of tolerance when promoting radically and culturally toxic ideals.
Now as the radical Left has increasingly gained control over America’s cultural institutions, the word “tolerance” has been tossed to the side. In its place has been erected the three most sacred words of the woke Left — “diversity, equity, and inclusion.”
This culture war has also increasingly seen an entreatment to science, while ironically eschewing it. It is not science but a new religion. As noted above, the “transgender “movement perfectly encapsulates this reality. It’s not just the binary nature of human sexuality that is rejected to placate the gender-bender cult, but this is also the case when it comes to the other major religion of the Left — the climate cult.
This cult calls for policing the free market while bowing to the anti-human demands of the prophets of Gaia. The greatest sin, these climate activists assert, is the use of fossil fuels. Never mind the historical reality that fossil fuels have demonstrably allowed for great human flourishing. Any questioning of the climate cultists’ narrative is met with a self-righteous indignation such as was given by their high priestess Greta Thunberg, who once angrily screamed, “How dare you?!”
Science like the definition of “woman” is being redefined. It no longer represents an exacting, sober-minded fact and observation-based assessment of the physical world. Rather it has become both a shield and club to be wielded against any who would dare cling to the old ways, those old foundations upon which the entire Western world was built.
This religious-like dogma coming from today’s Left means the two opposing parties increasingly have few common values over which to find shared solutions. The radical Left has almost entirely taken over the Democrat Party, pushing a neo-Marxist ideology that is antagonistic to the very Constitution establishing our government. As a result, the message from the Democrat Party is not one of love for country, but rather one of shame and hatred for it. The party of the donkey has embraced the woke narrative that the only salvation for evil America is the systematic dissolution of precisely the fundamental values and liberties that made America the greatest nation the world has ever known.
It is indeed a form of madness. A madness we have witnessed destroy other nations, and we are now trying to prevent from destroying our own.

There seems to be an outbreak of public figures saying and doing stupid things. Every time I turn around, it seems, famous folks are engaging in awful behavior or apologizing for something of the like.
The world will little note nor long remember an embarrassing incident in a Denver theater involving U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert. The conservative Colorado congresswoman initially laughed off the episode at the “Beetlejuice” musical in which the theater ejected her for vaping and taking unauthorized pictures. Once the police were called, she said “do you know who I am” and departed by brandishing a middle finger.
Unfortunately for Boebert, audience members took grainy videos showing her and her boyfriend groping each other.
Now she says, “The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I’m truly sorry.” She blamed the incident on “going through a public and difficult divorce.”
Jann Wenner, co-founder of the Rolling Stone magazine, has no acceptable alibi. He has been booted from the board of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation – and with good reason.
While explaining to the New York Times why all the rock icons whose interviews he included in a forthcoming book are White dudes, he said this about female musicians and musicians of color: “Just none of them were as articulate enough on this intellectual level.”
Excuse me, what century are we in?
Uh, what about Grace Slick, Janis Joplin, Carole King, Madonna, Joni Mitchell?
“Joni was not a philosopher of rock ’n’ roll. She didn’t, in my mind, meet that test. Not by her work, not by other interviews she did. The people I interviewed were the kind of philosophers of rock.”
Wenner was similarly dismissive of Black performers before admitting that he wished he could have interviewed Marvin Gaye or Otis Redding.
Cue the written apology: “I made comments that diminished the contributions, genius, and impact of Black and women artists and I apologize wholeheartedly for those remarks.”
For the record, the book features interviews with Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia, Mick Jagger, John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, Pete Townshend and Bono. (Wenner admits he let Lennon edit his famous 1970 interview about the Beatles breakup, and others as well, not getting why this is a journalistic no-no).
In a far more serious vein, comedian and social commentator Russell Brand, who has admitted to a past sex addiction, is being accused of sexual assault by four women. His literary agency promptly dropped him, saying it had been “horribly misled” about an allegation in 2020.
In a video statement, Brand decried what he called “a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks.”
“Amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute,” Brand said, adding that while he had been “very, very promiscuous,” his relations with women were “always consensual.”
The allegations were reported by three respected British news outlets – the Times of London, the Sunday Times and Channel 4 – causing a media explosion in Britain. A spokesman for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak referred to “very serious and concerning allegations” and the police asked any victims to get in touch. British companies such as the BBC, for which Brand worked, said they would investigate.
It’s only fair to point out that three of the women were unnamed. What’s more, the alleged crimes are said to have taken place between 10 and 17 years ago, and one of the accusers is said to have been 16 years old at the time.
It is difficult for the average reader or viewer to judge what happened or did not happen with Brand, who has more than 6 million subscribers to his YouTube channel, but for critics who say the women did not come forward until they were approached by journalists, that is largely true of the Harvey Weinstein scandal as well. Few women want to have their lives turned upside down.
Now I could go through plenty of instances in which Donald Trump and Joe Biden said things that were not true – sometimes they are walked back, sometimes not – but we expect presidents and candidates to shade the truth, engage in exaggerated rhetoric or outright lie.
For backbench political types and pop culture figures, however, issuing denials and apologies is a whole different confrontation with reality.
“Of course. They don’t like competition,” Musk wrote in response to Brand’s video suggesting he is being targeted as part of a “coordinated media attack” for his right-wing criticism of the media, which he details on his podcast “Stay Free.”
Social media influencer Tate — who is awaiting trial in Romania for rape and human trafficking charges — also threw support behind Brand on the platform.
“Welcome to the club,” Tate said to Brand, along with an image of a cartoon knight with the caption: “On my way to fight the crazy b—h allegations.”

Although House Republicans launched an impeachment inquiry just last week into the president, 50 percent of independent voters already believe House Republicans should move beyond the impeachment inquiry to impeach the president.
The other 50 percent of independent voters remain unconvinced that Republicans should impeach Joe Biden.
Eighty-one percent of Republicans support an impeachment, with 19 percent opposition. Among Democrats, 12 percent support impeachment. Eighty-eight percent do not.

Joe Biden is also responsible for the largest invasion of illegal aliens into one country in history.

The good news for Joe Biden is that Republican leadership is too weak to impeach DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas or Joe Biden for their destruction of the US international border.

This summer the International Monetary Fund summarily canceled a presentation by John Clauser, a Nobel Prize-winning physicist who publicly disavows the existence of a climate “crisis.” The head of the nonprofit with which Clauser is affiliated, the CO2 Coalition, has said he and other members have been delisted from LinkedIn for their dissident views.
Meanwhile, a top academic journal retracted published research doubting a climate emergency after negative coverage in legacy media. The move was decried by another prominent climate dissenter, Roger Pielke Jr., as “one of the most egregious failures of scientific publishing that I have seen” – criticism muffled because the academic says he has been blocked on Twitter (now X) by reporters on the climate beat.
The climate dissenters are pressing their case as President Biden,United Nations officials, and climate action advocates in media and academia argue that the “settled science” demands a wholesale societal transformation. That means halving U.S. carbon emissions by 2035 and achieving net zero emissions by 2050 to stave off the “existential threat” of human-induced climate change.
Looking at the big picture, the two things that corrupt ruling elites want to see TERMINATED are the Constitution and God Himself
The U.S. government was never meant to be an all-inclusive entity involved in almost every aspect of our lives, the way it is today. So how did we get to this point and what areas of our lives need to be taken back from the illegitimate claims of government in order for us to be able to say we live in a truly free country?
Watch the brief video below, provided by Hillsdale College, comparing the Founders’ vision of government under a constitutional republic, to the modern version of government under a “democracy” as defined for us by our oligarchal overlords. The transition from a constitutional republic to a so-called “democracy” where all societal narratives are tightly controlled by a ruling elite has happened so gradually that few people are even aware that the transition has taken place, even though it is now almost totally complete.
The video above got me thinking about all the things the U.S government has said it wants to ban, has already banned, or plans to ban but hasn’t told you yet.
Keep in mind that before the government moves to ban a particular item, it will use the corporate mass-media to put out propaganda attacking that item and how it’s bad for the environment or some other liberal cause. Often the item or product we are told we must use in place of the banned item is much worse for the environment.
So, in no particular order, here are 20 things that come to mind that are in various stages of being regulated, restricted or outright banned that the government has no business even being involved in.
Wood stoves (strictly regulated, some models already banned)
Gas stoves (federal government openly says it wants to ban)
Physical cash and coinage (wants to ban, started phasing out during Covid, will gradually be replaced by digital, programmable money with an “on-off switch.” This transition is already happening in some countries and will launch soon in America.)
Physical ID cards (plastic or paper being replaced by digital and biometric such as facial ID, palm scans or eyeball scans)
Borders and boundaries between nations (already banned by most Western nations except when convenient to harass and persecute law-abiding citizens).
National citizenship and national sovereignty (plan is to have global citizens under global governance)
Genders (it’s all fluid, right?).
Rainwater capture (already regulated in at least 13 states including California, Oregon, Nevada, Wisconsin, Colorado, Illinois, Georgia, Ohio, Washington, Rhode Island, Utah and Virginia)
Private well water (already regulated in some states, California plans to meterize private wells and sell your own water back you, the homeowner)
Removal of water from creeks or streams (regulated, restricted, plan to ban)
Firearms (ultra-regulated and restricted, plan is to ban them outright)
The ability to pro-create and reproduce (Already severely discouraged, the plan is to ban and replace with artificial insemination; designer babies will be grown in labs with DNA features for sale, under government registration, regulation, fees, taxes, etc.)
These are all things that, to one extent or another, in at least some states, are under attack by governments in partnership with big and powerful corporations. And more than half of them are under attack nationwide by the federal government and its corporate partners.
Looking at my list, did you notice a pattern? All of the 20 items have one thing in common — they allow us to live our lives independent of the government. Once the government claims a right to regulate, restrict or ban these items and actions, the powers that be — the oligarchs — know we will become totally dependent on the system for our survival. Food, water, energy, money, healthcare and the freedom of movement will all be 100 percent controlled.
Some hospitals are already requiring patients and visitors to have a face scan before they can be treated or enter and visit their sick loved one. You don’t agree, you don’t get into the hospital.
These face scans are also being done at most international airports across the U.S. You don’t agree, you’re not allowed on board the flight. The same facial recognition systems are also being installed at sports stadiums and other large-venue entertainment complexes.
It won’t be long before a digitized biometric scan of one type or another is required for you to “prove your identity” before being allowed to enter a store or restaurant. That will include grocery stores. They’ll say it’s to protect us. It’s always for our own safety, security and convenience. That’s the way the beast system works.
To the extent that we accept this government-corporate power over these formerly private areas of our lives, we have already been indoctrinated and initiated into the Great Reset (aka New World Order, aka digital prison). I’d say most of us are in training for the new technocracy right now. If we pass the tests, we’ll be stamped and tracked as good little members of the new digital world. We will no longer be part of humanity 1.0, which the oligarchs are phasing out in favor of humanity 2.0. Only transhumans will be allowed in their new utopia. The remaining humans will be left to fend for themselves, and eventually they may be hunted down, but that may be a ways off (I hope).
Is it any wonder that the famed constitutional attorney, John Whitehead, has said that the U.S. Constitution has already been “effectively terminated?”

Dr. McCullough delivered a speech to the European Union Parliament on September 13, 2023, in a session dedicated to the World Health Organization and Pandemic response. There were four attorneys and five scientists who made presentations. Dr. McCulllough’s speech was organized around three main concepts:
The Complex has inflicted global terror through three false narratives:
1) SARS-CoV-2 infection is unassailable. It cannot and will not be treated early. The only public health responses are to social distance, lock-down, and mask-up, and take genetic vaccines every six months with no end in sight.
2) The COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective, with no questions allowed from academia, mainstream media, or among peers.
3) The massive human toll of Spike protein injuries, disabilities, and death are from the coronavirus infection, not the accumulating synthetic mRNA coding for cellular production and circulation of the same long-lasting Spike protein.

The Clinton Global Initiative will launch a new network to provide ‘humanitarian aid’ to war-torn Ukraine.
Of course.
Recall, that Bill Clinton last year announced the Clinton Global Initiative will be hosting a leadership summit in New York in September after a 5-year hiatus.
“This year’s meeting will focus on what it takes to keep going — to maintain and advance progress, in spite of the difficulties that arise, and increase our capacity to cross the divides and make common cause with one another wherever possible to build a stronger future for all,” the Clintons said in a letter to the CGI community.
CGI reconvened in New York on Monday with a speech from Bill Clinton.
According to the Associated Press, the Clinton Global Initiative will be launching a new network dubbed CGI Ukraine Action Network:
CGI plans to announce the launch of the CGI Ukraine Action Network, as well as numerous financial pledges, to support nonprofits working in the country.
The CGI Ukraine Action Network is the result of a collaboration between Hillary Clinton and Olena Zelenska, first lady of Ukraine, that began last year. The new organization, which will be formally announced Tuesday, is designed to mobilize existing CGI partners, as well as new leaders from around the world, to create and finance new commitments for Ukrainians, according to CGI. Numerous monetary commitments for Ukraine are also set to be announced Tuesday,
In 2022, CGI announced more than 140 commitments, including a $1 billion plan from Water.org, co-founded by actor Matt Damon, to help 100 million people in Africa, Asia and Latin America get lasting access to water and sanitation. This year, leaders including World Bank President Ajay Banga, Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky, World Central Kitchen founder Jose Andres and Ford Foundation CEO Darren Walker, will attend and make their own commitments, which are required for attendance at the conference.

Does personal morality and character matter when considering political candidates and elected officials? For me, for me that is an unequivocal yes.
