There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
The soul of a Christian lives on in heaven after death until being united with the body at Christ’s return. Today, R.C. Sproul teaches on the future hope of the resurrection and the nature of our glorified bodies.

How can Christianity be a monotheistic religion, believing in one God, when Christians worship the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? In this message, R.C. Sproul teaches that we must carefully distinguish—but not separate—the persons of the Trinity.

It is not unusual for many to see themselves as individuals coming in and other of other people’s lives, even to the point of loneliness. And it is difficult to think of a time in recent history where people have experienced such depths of loneliness as occurred during the pandemic.
Yet, as Christians we are united to one another by faith in Christ Jesus. The apostle Paul writes about this unity in 1 Corinthians 12:25-27:
That there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.
What does it mean practically that Christians are members of Christ’s body?
In Christ we are all brothers and sisters.
By way of analogy, we are all parts of his body fitted together by him to love and care for each other. Being adopted we are members of God’s household, which means in Christ we are all brothers and sisters. We are to be united by Christ without division or strife, loving from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith.
The sixteenth-century Protestant Reformer John Calvin writes of the “holy and inseparable knot” that joins Christians together:
“And let us see we be so edified, that every one of us seek the furtherance of his neighbors, and without envying one another, let us all labor to be furthered in God, and in our Lord Jesus Christ, being joined together with this holy and inseparable knot, which he made betwixt us, when he called us to be members of his body…” — John Calvin, Sermons on Titus, p. 89.
We are called to suffer and rejoice together.
The second greatest commandment is to love one another even as God loves us (Matt. 22:35-40). We are to be with one another, caring for each other, encouraging and building up one another in faith. While this building up of the saints may take place in different ways than we would want at times due to various factors, we need to trust that God is in control and will always provide for his children. May believers continue to actively care for one another in the local church in creative and useful ways, both big and small, for we are called to suffer and rejoice together.
47:2Most High The Hebrew name here, elyon, emphasizes God’s reign over all the earth—above all other powers (Deut 32:8). See Psa 46:4 and note; and Gen 14:18 and note.[1]
2 For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
2. “For the Lord,” or Jehovah, the self-existent and only God; “Most high,” most great in power, lofty in dominion, eminent in wisdom, elevated in glory. “Is terrible,” none can resist his power or stand before his vengeance; yet as these terrors are wielded on the behalf of his subjects, they are fit reasons for rejoicing. Omnipotence, which is terrible to crush, is almighty to protect. At a grand review of the troops of a great prince, all his loyal subjects are filled with triumph, because their liege lord is so able to defend his own, and so much dreaded by his foes. “He is a great King over all the earth.” Not over Judea only, but even to the utmost isles his reign extends. Our God is no local deity, no petty ruler of a tribe; in infinite majesty he rules the mightiest realms as absolute arbiter of destiny, sole monarch of all lands, King of kings and Lord of lords. Not a hamlet or an islet is excluded from his dominion. How glorious will that era be when this is seen and known of all; when in the person of Jesus all flesh shall behold the glory of the Lord![2]
Ver. 2.—For the Lord Most High is terrible (comp. Deut. 7:21; and see also Pss. 65:5; 68:35; 76:7–9). God is “terrible”—i.e. awful to contemplate—on account of his vast power and his absolute holiness. He is a great King over all the earth. Not only over Israel, or over the nations which David has conquered, but over every nation on the face of the earth (comp. Pss. 95:3, 4; 96:10; 97:1, etc.).[3]
47:2Lord Most High. The use of the epithet “Most High” (‘elyon) for God, first occurring in the Melchizedek story of Genesis 14, evidently derives from the verb ‘lh, which means “to go up,” implying that Yahweh is the “high God.” Abraham identifies ‘elyon as Yahweh (Gen. 14:22).[4]
How awesome is the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth! (v. 2). The nations are asked to rejoice concerning the Lord, for he is ‘the great king’. This term was used frequently by Near Eastern rulers (see 2 Kings 18:19 and Isa. 36:4, 13 in reference to the king of Assyria), but here it is appropriated of the even greater king, the Lord Most High. His territory is not restricted as with earthly rulers, but rather it embraces the whole earth.[5]
2 The people are struck with awe (65:8; 76:7, 12) on account of the mighty works (vv. 3–4) of the Great King. Here the emphasis is on God, who is Yahweh Elyon, “the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth” (see Reflections, p. 152, Yahweh Is El Elyon.) The movement from v. 1 with its reference to God climactically ends on the presentation of Israel’s God as “the great King.” Kings in the ancient Near East loved to designate themselves by this title because with it were associated superiority, suzerainty, and the power to grant vassal treaties (cf. 2 Ki 18:19; Isa 36:4). Any king assuming this title could not tolerate competition. So it is with Yahweh. He alone is the Great King over all the earth (cf. Mal 1:11, 14)![6]

“When the Philistine looked and saw David, he disdained him … “Am I a dog, that you come to me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. … Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand.”
Talking trash to your opponent is a practice dating back to long before professional sports. When Goliath, for instance, was insulted by a mere boy being sent to fight him, he began the talk smack—and he “cursed David by his gods.”
Goliath’s cursing is significant. Through it, the giant unwittingly acknowledged that what was about to take place was far more significant than a conflict between two people or two armies or two nations. By invoking his gods, he demonstrated that the battle was ultimately between the so-called gods of the Philistines and the living God, the God of Israel.
A moment’s reflection would have reminded all the Israelites that the gods of the Philistines were not an impressive group. Like all false gods, they had to be carried around and couldn’t act on their own. Previously, the Philistines had had to set up their god Dagon after he had toppled over—and eventually, his head had even fallen clean off (1 Samuel 5:3-4)!
It makes sense, then, that Goliath’s insults or mention of his gods didn’t scare David. The shepherd boy recognized that the giant was terrifyingly large and came at him with many great weapons. But he also knew the giant was right about one thing: it was a much bigger event than a one-to-one combat—and David knew that the living God whom he served could save him and Israel.
David understood that Goliath’s defeat was not about making a name for himself; it would be so that “all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel” (1 Samuel 17:46). The victory was to be a testimony to the assembled crowd on both sides of the valley that God was alive and powerful to save.
The battle today is likewise ultimately between the living God and the non-gods of our age (Ephesians 6:12). Press your friends kindly, and ask how their gods—gods of ambition, politics, education, and so on—are working for them. Do they have peace? Do they have lasting confidence? Do they have contentment? Do they have joy?
Thankfully, we have something that gives all these things and more. We have the God who doesn’t topple and who needs nothing from us. We know the living God who has been faithful for a thousand generations and who tells us, “I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save” (Isaiah 46:4). Let the world around you see and hear who it is you serve today.
He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for everPsalm 103:9
He will chide sometimes, or He would not be a wise Father for such poor, erring children as we are. His chiding is very painful to those who are true, because they feel how sadly they deserve it and how wrong it is on their part to grieve Him. We know what this chiding means, and we bow before the Lord, mourning that we should cause Him to be angry with us.
But what a comfort we find in these lines! “Not always” will He chide. If we repent and turn to Him with hearts broken for sin and broken from sin, He will smile upon us at once. It is no pleasure to Him to turn a frowning face toward those whom He loves with all His heart: it is His joy that our joy should be full.
Come, let us seek His face. There is no reason for despair, nor even for despondency. Let us love a chiding God, and before long we shall sing, “Thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortest me.” Be gone, ye dark forebodings, ye ravens of the soul! Come in, ye humble hopes and grateful memories, ye doves of the heart! He who pardoned us long ago as a judge will again forgive us as a father, and we shall rejoice in His sweet, unchanging love.
“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” 2 Corinthians 13:14
In faith, I know these things to be true:
God is full of love and grace, and he fills me with his love and grace.
God’s work within me is to clear a channel for his love and grace to flow through me into the lives of anyone and everyone I meet.
I may not be there yet, but I am “confident of this, that he who began a good work in [me] will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).
And I know “God is able to make all grace abound [in me], so that in all things at all times, having all that [I] need, [I] will abound in every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).
He will make my joy complete because I no longer live in darkness, but I now live in the truth and have fellowship with God (1 John 1:4; 1 John 1:6).
Through the “Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,” I am, at all times, filled with grace, mercy, and peace (2 Corinthians 13:14).
This is what I believe to be true and I will walk accordingly, allowing God to do his work in me from the inside out. Father, make it so. I believe; help my unbelief.
Question: In which area(s) of your faith (perhaps some listed above) can you pray today: “I believe; help my unbelief”?
“My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in Him at all times, you people; (pour your hearts out to Him), for God is our refuge.” Psalm 62.7-9 (emphasis mine)
Growing up I was taught that God desired to have a relationship with me. But my pursuit of that relationship looked more like a rote exercise than anything else. It was less like a relationship and more like a student in a classroom.
Prayer became a list of what I needed and an expectation of God to answer. Because after all, I reasoned, God says He will give us what we need if we ask, right? It’s in the Bible somewhere?
I think many of us approach prayer as if God is our great Santa Claus in the sky and we’re disillusioned when He doesn’t come through for us. We have pursued prayer not to hear from God or to form a bond with Him but to get what we need.
God wants so much more for our relationship with Him! He sacrificed His only Son so that we could have a union with Him that is beyond all others! God is here! He has come near.
Will you pull up a chair and sit in His presence today? Why not discover who He is and pour your heart to Him? He is waiting.
Lord, I confess that I have followed after You more to get what I want than to know You. Change me. Open my eyes. I want to follow hard after You. Show me how to live in relationship with You. Amen.
Action Step: If you tend to rely on spiritual reading or a lot of talking in your prayer, try sitting in silence and listening for God’s words of love today.
Pastor Says End Time is Near A local pastor says that the unprovoked attack on Israel by Hamas terrorists is a fulfillment of scripture, ushering in the end time. He did not want to be named since he says it is a sensitive topic for many denominations, not just in Solomon Islands but the World. The local pastor leads a sizeable congregation in Honiara, and is calling on Christians to pray for Israel, and to prepare their families spiritually. “This is a once in a generation war, and if you look at the scriptures this was predicted thousands of years ago.
Iran held planning meetings with terror groups to attack Israel, kill civilians: Report A new report indicates that Hezbollah met with Iran-backed terrorist groups in March, urging them to prepare for a war with Israel that would include a ground invasion. According to a report by The New York Times based on Syrian and Iranian sources, in March, Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, conducted an extended meeting online with Iran-backed strategists. Nasrallah reportedly told the Iran-backed groups to prepare for war with Israel that would include a ground invasion. According to two of the online participants from Syria and Iran, the Hezbollah leader said the anticipated war with Israel would “mark a new era.” The New York Times reported that a secret joint command center was established in Beirut.

Kunstler: All This & World War, Too… It’s less than a week since the skies over the Negev Desert filled with something eerily like the flying monkeys of Oz upgraded to Hamas Road Warriors in motorized paragliders, kicking off that third world war we’ve been hearing about all our lives, and not at all the way we expected either, which was more Dr. Strangelove style, with the mushroom clouds billowing everywhere — though, who knows, it might come to that, too, before long. The big question is: can we carry on as before? And anyone with half a brain can see the answer is: probably not.
The Net Zero Ship Starting To Sink Are we observing the early stages of worldwide resistance against the constraints of net zero policies? Investors are ditching renewable energy faster than any other funds on record. Australian Nationals Senator Matt Canavan said net zero has “absolutely carked it.” His position is that net zero is a “soundbite” and “totally insane.” It is unachievable because people will starve if it is enforced. “Almost everything we grow, we make, we do in our society relies on the use of fossil fuels,” he said.
Judge Admonishes DOJ For “Wasting the Court’s Time” In Trump Documents Case Attorney David Harbach with the special counsel’s office threw out a new argument during the two Garcia hearings scheduled Thursday, drawing ire from the judge for “wasting the court’s time” by not filing the arguments and case citations the motions the government had already submitted.
Amir Tsarfati: Bare-Knuckle Brawl — Israel Will Not Stop Until These Terrorists Are Permanently Off The Threat List We have put up with the terrorists surrounding us and picking off our people one-by-one. When we would respond, it would be with a method of retaliation commensurate to the murderous action taken against us. But then a terrorist army invaded from Gaza and horrifically slaughtered more than 1200 of our innocent babies, children, elderly, women, and men. They shot them, burned them, stabbed them, and decapitated them. At that point, it was no longer about retaliation against terrorists. We were at war.
Netanyahu says Israelis fighting to defend their home; rockets target Tel Aviv and surrounding areas President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, and President of the EU Commission Ursula von der Leyen, visiting Tel Aviv were rushed into a bomb shelter on Friday, during a meeting with President Issac Herzog when Hamas rockets were fired at Tel Aviv. the IDF fired into South Lebanon in response to earlier rocket fire which Hamas claimed responsibility for.

Rashida Tlaib in Firing Line After Attacking Biden For Lack of Empathy Towards ‘Millions of Palestinian Civilians’ Tlaib’s statement did not mention Hamas. In her statement on Sunday in the immediate aftermath of Hamas’ massacre in southern Israel, Tlaib blamed Israel for the slaughter, saying that its “apartheid system” creates “conditions that can lead to resistance.” That statement also did not mention Hamas. Tlaib’s statements and actions since Saturday have drawn fierce criticism from fellow Democrats, Republicans, and Israel’s Ambassador to the United States Michael Herzog. “How much more blood needs to be spilled for you to overcome your prejudice and unequivocally condemn Hamas, a US-designated terror organization?” Herzog posted on X/Twitter on Sunday, quoting her statement.
British author Douglas Murray: Only Israelis are asked to respond proportionately Britain-based author and journalist Douglas Murray appeared on Talk TV and was asked whether Israel’s strikes in the Gaza Strip constitute a “reasonable, proportionate and moral response”. Murray fired back, “There is some deep perversion in Britain whenever Israel is involved in a conflict, and it is the word you just used: Proportion, proportionate, proportionality. Only Britain is really obsessed with this. I’ve heard in for the last few days incessantly.”
We will destroy Hamas, this is only the beginning Israel will destroy Hamas, no matter how long it takes, and will finish the war stronger, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an unusual address on Friday night. “This is just the beginning,” he said. “Our enemies have only begun paying the price and I will not say more. This is just the beginning.”
Descent into barbarism We are reaping the whirlwind of defying God’s Law. Not surprisingly, we are now rapidly descending into barbarism. For if we refuse to follow God’s Law, we make up our own and it becomes ‘dog eat dog’, caring only for ourselves and our personal appetites. We thought we knew better than God, so we legalised abortion, mercilessly killing ten million babies in the womb since the Act was passed in 1967. We have also legalised homosexuality, blasphemy, Sunday trading and easy divorce, with euthanasia possibly next. But as the Apostle John said, “sin is lawlessness” (1 John 3:4), and the Lord Jesus in his Sermon on the Mount made it clear:
Fighting an Ethical War Against an Unethical Enemy It feels like a war because roads are comparatively empty. People are staying close to home, to be with family, and just in case of an air raid siren. Lost in the gruesomeness of the inhuman attacks and slaughter, Hamas continues to fire rockets by the thousands. Stores in malls are closed. Jerusalem’s central bus station is operating, but like “a ghost town” according to friends.
It’s not just Hamas – now CNN, MSNBC and other media are attacking Israel, accusing us of ‘war crimes’ In the first few days after Hamas began their barbaric and genocidal attacks on Israel, the American and international media mostly did a good job reporting on the atrocities committed by Hamas. To their credit, they reported that more than 1,000 Israeli Jews had been slaughtered just on Saturday, Oct. 7 alone. “As Israel starts to strike back, the first shocking days are sometimes forgotten by the international media,” Regev noted. “Then they focus on the Israeli response and they forget what led to this response. And they make this false analogy.” They say, “Israel and Hamas are fighting and, you know, there’s rights or wrongs on both sides of the argument.” “No, there is no moral equivalency,” Regev rightly insisted. “We are a democracy fighting to protect our people. They are a brutal terrorist organization that has no qualms about committing crimes

Washington Post journalist attacks DeSantis by claiming ‘Chinese Communist Party’ is a slur The atrocities perpetrated by China’s Communist regime—still ongoing—are countless, including mass executions, hideous tortures, concentration camps, re-education centers, tens of millions of forced abortions, and the destruction of entire communities. There’s a joke in right-wing circles that you’ve probably seen: However much you hate the media, it isn’t enough. Usually, this joke is the caption of some newly egregious example of media malfeasance. In the wake of the Trump-less GOP debate, a story by Philip Bump featured this title: “The rise of ‘Chinese Communist Party’ as a pejorative.” The Chinese Communist Party—CCP—is in fact its actual name, not a pejorative. But according to Bump, using this factually correct title is a slur.

Hoover Institution senior fellow Victor Davis Hanson talks about what’s at stake after Hamas’ attack on the Jewish state on ‘The Ingraham Angle.’ #foxnews
On Saturday’s “America Right Now,” host Tom Basile explains how the failures of the Biden administration and the fractured Republican Party are leaving Americans vulnerable. Watch NEWSMAX, an independent news network with a conservative perspective, available in 100M+ U.S. homes.
The Israeli government announced Saturday that it is preparing to expand its military response to Hamas with a “coordinated attack from the air, sea, and land.”
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on its website that forces will ramp up the response to the deadly Hamas terror attack on Israel with an “emphasis on a significant ground operation.” In the past few days, the Israeli forces have transferred combat equipment and tools and have prepared IDF battalions for the “next stages of the war.”
“[T]he IDF forces, backed by an extensive logistical effort and completing the reserve mobilization of hundreds of thousands of servicemen, are preparing to implement a wide range of offensive operative plans which include, among other things, an integrated and coordinated attack from the air, sea and land,” the IDF said.
Last Saturday, Hamas unleashed a brutal attack on Israel, invading the country with thousands of terrorists who targeted the most vulnerable Israelis, including children and infants. Hamas killed more than 1,300 people, including 27 Americans, and took around 150 people hostage into the Gaza Strip.
Israel responded with around-the-clock airstrikes hitting Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip as the Israeli military has told civilians in Gaza to flee. The civilians, however, have been prevented by Hamas from leaving the territory, and the terrorists are known for using innocent civilians — even young children and babies — as shields.
The IDF also said that it killed a Hamas commander who led the attack on Israel. Ali Qadi was “eliminated” by Israeli aircraft using intelligence gathered by the Military Intelligence Directorate, according to the Jerusalem Post. Israeli military officials also said that its forces had killed Merad Abu Merad, the head of Hamas’ aerial system.
“This is our time to face this test, and our job is to decide and win this war,” said IDF Commander of the 401st Brigade Col. Bnei Aharon. “We have the best people, we have the best general. We are a combination of the best forces in the world. We are here to keep and protect you.”
In recent years, there has been a growth in Marxist ideology in America, and even in the church. This belief system is often designated by the term “woke.” But there is a deep problem with this ideology, and at its core, it’s incompatible with Christianity. It teaches us to see ourselves as victims looking for someone to blame and plunder. It’s an appeal to our sinful natures, and the reality is, once we indulge our capacity for envy, it can’t be fulfilled. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the precise opposite of this. In the Gospel we discover that we are not victims—we’re perpetrators. We have committed crimes against the holy God, the true judge of the universe. But He offers us grace and life.
Shades of 1984 In the classic novel, 1984, Orwell envisioned a world (patterned after Stalin’s Soviet Russia) where, among other things, mind control was of the essence. One method the government employed was eliminating words that they didn’t want people to think about. Like the Danish government’s campaign of replacing gendered language with gender-neutral language. If you don’t have a word for it, you won’t think it … right? They think so. Coming soon to a country near you?
When Harvard Fails to Teach Thinking Thirty-one Harvard student organizations have blamed Israel for the Hamas attack on Israel. Now, that makes sense, right? Oh, no, not one bit. When Israeli forces have unfortunately killed civilians in their attacks on Hamas strongholds (because terrorists like to hide among civilians), no one in Israel is proud to claim responsibility, but when Hamas invades Israel, killing hundreds and kidnapping more and threatens to kill hostages, you can be clear who the bad guys are in this scenario. It’s not the ones saddened by the deaths of civilians; it’s the ones proud of causing them. And how upside down is this world when people around the world threaten a “day of rage” in favor of terrorists? Terrorists who intentionally murdered and kidnapped innocent people, beheaded children, and gloated about it? I would think the rage would be against them.
Blame It On COVID ACT test scores have dropped to their lowest in 30 years “in a pandemic slide,” the news tells us. I’m not tracking. “Lowest in 30 years” and “pandemic”, which was 3years ago. I think if they tested for “gender studies” and “inclusivity” and “tolerance” and the like, you’d find much higher scores. Reading, writing, arithmetic, and such are not high priorities in so many schools these days. At least, that’s what the testing is telling us.
From Satire to Bizarre in Seconds Actually, this wasn’t so funny. The Bee did a little joke about how grateful Laphonza Butler is for her new job as a California senator since it was a short commute to work from her home in Maryland. Ha, ha! Except the Internet says that Laphonza Butler resides in Maryland. What?? That went from humorous to bizarre. What’s up with that, California?
A Living Wage The winning ticket for a $1.76 billion Powerball jackpot was sold in California. Which only seems fair, since after taxes and all, it should amount to a living wage or so. Hey, maybe they can buy a house now? Or at least afford a down payment.
Let Humor Bee Heard After losing 3 straight playoff games to the 2nd place Diamondbacks, the Bee is wondering if the Dodgers should have paid more attention to training than honoring drag nuns. Not from the Bee, a photo from 2009 has resurfaced showing an anti-Israel rally including “Queers for Palestine.” Now, you’d think that supporting a group (Hamas’s Palestine) that would imprison you for showing up wouldn’t make sense … oh, no, it doesn’t. And that’s one of those “satire or real” moments because it’s stupid but actual. One last from the Bee, lest you think it’s all bad news for Islam, this week the religion was downgraded to “mostly peaceful” despite all that beheading and mayhem and all.
Highly respected Constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley said new evidence released by the House Oversight Committee may destroy Joe Biden’s defense in his stolen classified documents case.
The House Oversight Committee this week revealed that five White House employees were involved in Biden’s stolen classified documents case.
The Committee also revealed Joe Biden and his attorney lied about communications and when the classified documents were discovered.
Biden lied by omission.
House Republicans released information showing a flurry of communications
Joe Biden STOLE SCIF-designated classified documents and improperly stored them at the Penn Biden Center.
Biden also stored classified documents in his garage next to his Corvette where his son Hunter had access to the sensitive materials.
Nine boxes of documents were taken from Joe Biden’s lawyer’s Boston office and we have no idea what is in those boxes because the National Archives is covering up for Biden.
Recall that it was reported that Joe Biden’s attorney first discovered “Obama-Biden administration documents in a locked closet while packing files as they prepare to close out Biden’s office in the Penn Biden Center” in November 2022.
Biden and his team claimed they immediately contacted the National Archives upon discovering the documents in November 2022.
“They immediately called the Archives — immediately called the Archives, turned them over to the Archives, and I was briefed about this discovery,” Biden said in November 2022.
Joe Biden famously said of his classified documents strewn all over the place, “There is no ‘there’ there.”
This timeline presented by Biden’s attorney is of course a lie.
Joe Biden’s former assistant as Vice President, Kathy Chung, in April testified to the House Oversight Committee about the mishandling of classified documents by Biden since his time as Vice President.
Chung testified that White House Counsel Dana Remus tasked her with retrieving boxes of classified documents from Penn Biden Center as early as May 2022.
According to new information released by the House Oversight Committee, Joe Biden lied about the timeline. Annie Tomasini, Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor to the President and Director of Oval Office Operations, went to Penn Biden Center to take inventory of President Biden’s documents and materials on March 18, 2021.
The classified documents were discovered nearly TWO YEARS before Joe Biden’s lawyer said he found them.
“Our Committee has developed evidence showing the timeline of relevant events began in 2021 and involved at least five White House employees,” the Republican-led Committee said.
“President Biden and his legal team omitted months of communications, planning, and coordinating among multiple White House officials, a former VP staffer, Penn Biden Center employees, and President Biden’s personal attorneys to retrieve the boxes containing classified materials.” the Oversight said. “There is no reasonable explanation as to why this many White House employees and lawyers were so concerned with retrieving boxes they reportedly believed contained only personal documents and materials.”
Turley said Biden’s lies about the timeline and potential lies to Special Counsel Robert Hur has put him in danger:
“Now, however, it appears that a critical claim by the White House in the scandal may not only be false, but was knowingly false at the time it was made. The White House and Biden’s counsel have long maintained that, as soon as documents were discovered in the D.C. office, they notified the national archives. Many asked why they did not call the FBI, but the White House has at least maintained that, unlike Trump, they took immediate action to notify authorities.” Turley said.
“I have referred to Hur as a “neutron prosecutor” — a special counsel with no possible charge, under Justice Department policy barring the indictment of a sitting president. If that was not enough of a problem, Hur may have growing evidence that accounts offered by the White House over the discovery of the documents are false.”
“The new evidence could prove transformative, not only for the criminal but the impeachment investigation of the president.”
“If this new timeline is accurate, the question is whether Biden knew that the account being put forward by his staff and counsel was false. It also raises the question of whether the president knowingly possessed classified documents and lied about their removal, use, and discovery. Finally, if Biden repeated his public denials to Hur, there could be added allegations of false statements to federal investigators, another commonly-charged federal crime.” – Turley wrote.
“We still have to see if there is evidence to support such crimes, but what is clear is that the past narrative may no longer suffice.” Turley said.
The nation recently discovered that the FBI has a new “MAGA Extremist” category. All this hard work by government is aimed at “preserving democracy.” Clinton is particularly concerned about the small extremist “tail” wagging the House Republican caucus, and destroying not only decorum, but the institution itself.
It is tempting to be mildly entertained by all of this, but as Tho Bishop noted “Weak regimes are particularly dangerous.” The Western/NATO/Blackrock conversation about Ukraine turned to “next steps” many months ago. Our current weak regime here at home – a group of dominant state beneficiaries looking down the barrel of a financial, societal, and military hegemonic collapse trifecta– is also considering next steps for us.
Beyond hunting down MAGAts, and perhaps loading them on trains for deprogramming somewhere, what else is coming, and what can we learn now that will help?
We can learn from the collapse of the USSR in 1989, a seemingly sudden breakdown of what appeared to be a strong and centralized federal state, that had in actuality lost control of the economy, the culture, and the narrative at least a decade earlier. People and regions itching for independence, and those challenging the narrative, were enemies of the State. At the end of that story, what remained were many of the same political oligarchs, many of them internationalized, in control of most of the former USSR’s economic and natural resources. The poor, invested in and dependent upon socialist promises, stayed poor, and many got poorer.
For several years, the death rate climbed in Russia. Power shifted, but maybe not as radically as we were told. While we celebrate Gorbachev as the leader who made the end of the USSR possible with restructuring and transparency – many Russians saw, and experienced, what happened a little differently.
