There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard

Thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong.Joshua 17:18
It is a great encouragement to valor to be assured of victory, for then a man goes forth to war in confidence and ventures where else he had been afraid to go. Our warfare is with evil within us and around us, and we ought to be persuaded that we are able to get the victory and that we shall do so in the name of the Lord Jesus. We are not riding for a fall, but to win; and win we shall. The grace of God in its omnipotence is put forth for the overflow of evil in every form: hence the certainty of triumph.
Certain of our sins find chariots of iron in our constitution, our former habits, our associations, and our occupations. Nevertheless we must overcome them. They are very strong, and in reference to them we are very weak; yet in the name of God we must master them, and we will. If one sin has dominion of us we are not the Lord’s free men. A man who is held by only one chain is still a captive. There is no going to heaven with one sin ruling within us, for of the saints it is said, “Sin shall not have dominion over you.” Up, then, and slay every Canaanite, and break to shivers every chariot of iron! The Lord of hosts is with us, and who shall resist His sin-destroying power?
Her sixty-two-year-old father teeters between life and death after a severe stroke. As a single mom with four small children living two hundred miles away, her heart tears in two. What do you say?
A coworker was just handed divorce papers. His face pales as his twenty-two-year-old marriage slips from his grip. What do you say?
What is there to say when tragedy strikes?
Proverbs 2:1-5 gives us a clue:
“My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.”
When tragedy hits and the reasons seem unclear, words feel futile. You wring your hands, tongue-tied. That’s the moment to turn your ear to God and ask Him for help. Cry aloud to understand so you can, in turn, know how to comfort the person in the deep throngs of grief and bewilderment. Step out of yourself, your own inadequacies, or your desire to band-aid it all, and let the Holy Spirit’s warmth and wisdom guide your actions and your words. Then, you will know what to say.
All-knowing, All-caring God, please instill in us Your wisdom so we know how to respond in love and comfort to a hurting world and shine forth Your glory and peace. Through Your Son, we pray. Amen.
Thought: When you read about, hear about or witness a tragedy, take a moment to pray before you respond. Let God equip you. Then have faith that He is working through you.
“We have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” 2 Chronicles 20:12 (NKJV)
Our faith needs to focus on the right object in order to see clearly…whenever our faith looks away from God everything becomes a blur. We don’t discover God’s solution by focusing on the problem, we don’t receive His understanding by trying to figure things out, we don’t receive His provision by examining our resources, and we don’t find His next step for us by leaning upon our own understanding.
“Not knowing what to do” means we don’t have what it takes (within ourselves) to do what needs to be done. This is not a defeat for faith, but a victory! It means that faith can go about the business of doing what it is meant to do…putting all its focus upon the Lord!
When the eyes of our faith are upon the Lord we can trust in Him to bring the light we need to take the next step, to give the wisdom we need to make the right decision, to give the strength we need to continue on in our service, to give the courage we need to stand against the enemy, and to bring the victory we need to overcome the world.
“Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness And has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD And rely upon his God.” Isaiah 50:10 (NKJV)

The Global Explosion Of Hate Is Yet Another Sign That We Really Are Living In The End Times What we are witnessing is truly frightening. In my entire lifetime, I have never seen as much hate as I have over the past few weeks. It is almost as if a very large chunk of the global population has suddenly gone mad. But of course all of this hate did not come out of a vacuum. It has been simmering for many years, and now the war in the Middle East has brought it to the surface.

The California governor is burnishing his foreign policy résumé with eyes to the future.
Thomas Gallatin
California Governor Gavin Newsom traveled to China last week, and his office said the trip was about “delivering real climate action and creating opportunities for future collaboration and cooperation.” In reality, it was an effort to burnish his foreign policy résumé for a possible run at the White House.
As California Republican caucus leader James Gallagher quipped, “It’s the make-believe president tour.”
Demonstrating this point with classic political spin, Newsom said: “The only way we can solve our climate crisis is to continue our longstanding cooperation with China. As two of the world’s largest economies, the work we do together is felt in countless communities on both sides of the Pacific.”
Yet besides playing in a pickup basketball game with a bunch of children — including slipping and plowing over one of them — Newsom’s visit was uneventful.
As always, he talked a safe game, though he hit fraught topics such as trafficking fentanyl from China to the U.S., human rights concerns — including the imprisonment of California pastor David Lin — and Hong Kong, Tibet, and Taiwan. Significantly, however, Newsom raised none of these concerns directly with Chinese strongman Xi Jinping.
“He wants to act like a world leader,” Gallagher criticized, “but when he has the opportunity, I don’t see him making any strong stands on issues of international significance.”
The real agenda for Newsom’s trip was evident, and it’s not climate change. After all, Beijing couldn’t give two hoots about combatting climate change. Indeed, it is widely known that China is by far the world’s leading producer of carbon emissions, and that’s not about to change anytime soon. Xi has made it clear that China’s priority is its economic development, not the cultish concerns of wealthy Western leftists.
The one real factor that directly affects Newsom in California is trade, though not so much with China as with Taiwan. Silicon Valley is dependent upon the computer chips industry, and the lion’s share of those chips are manufactured in Taiwan. It’s imperative that trade flow is maintained, though it’s under threat thanks to Xi’s stated desire to bring Taiwan under Beijing’s control.
For Xi, meeting with Newsom was an opportunity for him to personally size up the Californian. Xi knows full well that Joe Biden is not only old but increasingly unpopular. He sees that another head-to-head matchup between Donald Trump and Biden could well swing Trump’s way. Newsom is a much younger and slicker politician who could step in for Biden or after Trump, and Xi knows it.
Dean Phillips’s challenge to Biden might provide the perfect opportunity for Newsom to take up the Democrat banner should Biden finally be convinced to step aside. Phillips is paving the way for a mainstream candidate with his bid, while Newsom can then play up his loyalty to Biden by refusing to challenge him, only stepping into the race in an effort to help continue what Biden has started should the old man step stumble aside.
This strategy also explains Newsom’s agreement to debate Republican presidential candidate and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on November 30. Newsom will be seen as acting presidential by taking on the opposition.
Finally, Newsom is effectively in a win-win position. If Biden does decide to stick it out and continues a likely ill-fated run at reelection, Newsom can hit pause on his presidential aspirations and wait it out another four years. Maybe even with another trip to China just for good measure.
ChiCom cash for Big Guy Joe, Tuberville gets flack from fellow Republicans, Gutless Gretch cancels visit to Dearborn, and more.
Douglas Andrews, Thomas Gallatin, & Jordan Candler
Cross-Examination
ChiCom cash for Big Guy Joe: It might not seem like much, but Joe Biden took $40,000 in laundered money from a ChiCom-linked energy company, CEFC China Energy, back in September 2017, according to a memo from Republican Congressman James Comer, who chairs the pesky House Oversight Committee. As the New York Post reports, “The 2017 transfer from first brother James Biden and his wife Sara to the future president allegedly involves the same business deal in which Joe Biden was called the ‘big guy’ and penciled in for a 10% cut — and would be the first proven instance of the commander-in-chief getting a piece of his family’s foreign income.” That’s the key part here: an influence-peddling transaction that went straight (well, via laundered channels) to Joe Biden, and it did so just weeks after Hunter famously threatened his dad’s wrath via an angry Snapchat message to a Chinese business associate. “I’m sitting here with my father,” texted the indignant first son. “I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows, and my ability to forever hold a grudge, that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.” But, no, Joe Biden never discussed his overseas business dealings with his son.
Biden’s New Hampshire blunder: Why on earth would a gaggle of Democrat organizers be urging New Hampshire primary voters to cast write-in votes for Joe Biden when the state holds its Granite State primary in January? Simple: because Biden isn’t on the ballot. This is called blowback, and it’s what Biden is feeling in response to his trashing of the age-old tradition of Iowa and New Hampshire holding the nation’s first presidential primary votes, and his slotting of South Carolina into the first position instead. Recall that Biden was a dead man walking in the early stages of the 2020 primary season, having finished fourth in Iowa and fifth in New Hampshire before being resuscitated and propped up by Congressman James Clyburn and his fellow South Carolina Democrats. Thus, with the Democratic National Committee having reorganized the calendar, Biden didn’t even put his name on the ballot in New Hampshire. “His advisers and the DNC made a big mistake,” said longtime Democrat strategist Terry Shumaker. “This was not necessary.” Indeed, it wasn’t necessary, and it might result in Biden getting precisely what he’d hoped to avoid by displacing New Hampshire: an embarrassing primary challenge, which will come in the form of the newly announced candidacy of Congressman Dean Phillips.
Biden calls for “pause,” Hamas calls for more October 7’s: “I think we need a pause,” said Joe Biden yesterday in response to a heckler who’d interrupted him at a campaign event in Minnesota. Then he clarified: “A pause means give time to get the prisoners out. Give time.” Thus came another infuriating flip-flop and another glaring example of irresoluteness concerning Israel’s war with Hamas. We suspect the Jewish state will take the advice under advisement and then continue to do what it must do to destroy its mortal enemy. As for Hamas, its position remains crystal clear: “Israel is a country that has no place on our land,” said Ghazi Hamad, Hamas’s top spokesman, on Lebanese TV recently. “We must remove that country. We must teach Israel a lesson, and we will do this again and again. The Al-Aqsa flood [i.e., the October 7 attack] is just the first time, and there will be a second, a third, a fourth, because we have the determination, the resolve, and the capabilities to fight.” Biden’s waffling seems like a political pander to Arab-American voters, who are displeased with even his suspect support of Israel. As the Associated Press reports, Democrats are fearful that Biden’s heretofore pro-Israel position on its war with Hamas could cost him the votes of Michigan’s sizable Arab-American community and thus Michigan’s 16 crucial electoral votes.
SPLC’s awful statement: Weeks after Hamas’s murderous October 7 terrorist attack against innocent Israelis, the self-designated leading “anti-hate” organization, the Southern Poverty Law Center, finally weighed in. However, in doing so, the SPLC once again demonstrated that the real reason the leftist organization exists is not to combat hatred, specifically racially motived hatred, but instead to smear as haters anyone who refuses to bow to their leftist worldview. SPLC President Margaret Huang released the following statement: “Earlier this month, we watched in horror as Hamas led an unconscionable attack against Israeli civilians, killing more than 1,000 people and kidnapping hundreds.” One would have expected Huang to then issue a condemnation of Hamas over its anti-Semitism, but one would be wrong. Instead, Huang added, “The tragedy has only continued as Palestinian civilians in Gaza — many of whom are children — have been targeted with airstrikes and cut off from food, clean water, medical care and lifesaving supplies.” Evidently after some blowback for this statement, the SPLC edited Huang’s statement by replacing the words “targeted with” with “killed by.” Of course, that version avoids condemning Hamas’s racist, hate-filled ideology, which is entirely responsible for igniting this war in the first place. Texas Senator Ted Cruz explained the SPLC’s equivocating in the face of blatant racially motivated hatred by noting, “The SPLC is entangled with racism, sexual harassment, domestic terrorism, and outright hate.” Therefore, “It’s no surprise they would take the side of Hamas and downplay the extremism of terror-supporting groups like Students for Justice in Palestine.”
Tuberville gets flack from fellow Republicans: Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville has held the line against Joe Biden’s illegal use of American taxpayer dollars to ensure abortion access for U.S. military personnel by refusing to green-light blanket support for military promotions. This has resulted in a backlog of high-level military promotions. The situation could easily be solved by Biden backing down, but he has thus far refused. Furthermore, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer could hold floor votes for each individual nominee, but the Democrats don’t want to do so, even as they ridiculously insist that Tuberville’s stand is threatening national security by affecting military readiness. Now, some of Tuberville’s Republican colleagues are echoing the Democrats’ narrative, and they are pressing Tuberville to end his stand after recently confirmed Marine Corps General Eric Smith suffered a serious medical emergency. Tuberville, though, refuses to bend, stating on Wednesday: “They’re really looking for something to blame it on other than themselves. They could have had all these people confirmed if they had just gone with the Constitution. They’re just looking for any possible way to get themselves out of a jam.”
Debunking deep state disinformation: The clock may well run out on Republican efforts to hold the Biden Crime Family accountable for its influence-peddling schemes, but it won’t have been for lack of trying on Jim Jordan’s part. Jordan, the Ohio congressman who chairs the House Judiciary Committee and the House Weaponization Select Subcommittee, opened a probe into alleged obstruction by U.S. intelligence agencies during a 2020 Senate inquiry of the Biden family. At issue is a so-called “defensive briefing” that two Republican senators, Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson, received on August 6, 2020, when, as National Review reports, two FBI officials claimed that the GOP’s assertions of malfeasance on the part of the Bidens were Russian disinformation. It wasn’t Russian disinformation, though. In fact, the defensive briefing itself was disinformation, meant purely to seed a false narrative among Congress and the mainstream media that Republican investigative efforts were tainted by Russian subterfuge. When the House GOP created their Weaponization Subcommittee, it appears they knew what they were doing.
Minimum wage, maximum prices: It’s simple math, yet too many people still fall for the flawed claim that the minimum wage needs to be a “living wage.” Every time the minimum wage is raised, prices rise with it, and everything gets more expensive for everyone. Case in point, California Governor Gavin Newsom recently signed into law a mandate that increased fast food workers’ minimum wage to $20 an hour effective April 1, 2024. Guess what will also be going up — fast food prices, at least according to McDonald’s and Chipotle. Thanks to Bidenflation, fast food prices have already been rising — up nearly 25%. A Big Mac value meal at McDonald’s can run as high as $18. And in California with Newsom’s minimum wage hike, who knows how much a Happy Meal will cost. One thing’s for certain: Fast food chains will be looking to invest in more AI tech to replace increasingly costly low-skill workers.
Taliban gets big bucks: Every two weeks, the terrorist-harboring and Afghanistan-controlling Taliban receives roughly $80 million in aid from the U.S. and other United Nations countries. The money is ostensibly going to provide civil services such as food and medicine. Making matters worse, since Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal and surrender of Afghanistan to the Taliban, his administration has allocated $2.5 billion in “humanitarian operations” to the jihadi-controlled country. Exposing that this cash is not only going for humanitarian purposes, the latest report from the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) says USAID reports that “some of their partner staff members had been detained this quarter by local Taliban authorities because of the staff members’ efforts to prevent the diversion of aid to non-eligible individuals.” Shocker. With all the objections being raised in Congress over sending aid to Ukraine and Israel, where are the voices objecting to the continued sending of billions in taxpayer dollars to the Taliban?
Democracy dies in Venezuela, with Biden’s stamp of approval: Two weeks ago, the Biden administration lifted sanctions against socialist-controlled Venezuela in exchange for a promise that strongman Nicolas Maduro would hold free and fair elections next year. However, with recent presidential primary elections in the South American nation showing that Maduro’s primary opposition party candidate Maria Corina Machado is very popular — too popular — Maduro had the Supreme Court suspend the primary. The court then ratified a ban on Machado’s candidacy. So much for a commitment to free and fair elections. So, will Joe Biden reimpose sanctions against Venezuela? That’s doubtful, as Secretary of State Antony Blinken refused to even agree that Maduro has reneged on the deal.
Gutless Gretch cancels visit to Dearborn Recently, we noted the sizable Arab-American population in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn, as well as the unique status of nearby Hamtramck, which is the nation’s only Muslim-majority city. So it’s not surprising to us that Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer just chickened out of a planned visit to Dearborn due to threats of protest due to her attendance earlier this month at a massive pro-Israel rally at a suburban Detroit synagogue. As the AP chidingly reports, “None of [the pro-Israel rallygoers] attended a rally in nearby Dearborn the next day to show support for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip who were being killed or forced from their homes by the Israeli military’s response.” Again, we’re not surprised by Whitmer’s cravenness. She’s first and foremost a political creature, and she’s governing a state that’s crucial to the Democrats’ hopes of retaining the White House next year.

“The soft bigotry of low expectations.” That’s what George W. Bush cleverly labeled the idea that blacks and other minorities should achieve less or be less educated simply because of the supposed systemic racism of American society. Speaking to the NAACP in the heat of the 2000 presidential campaign, Bush was calling out the racism of the American Left to the very people who needed to hear it most.
Two upcoming films illustrate what he meant, albeit from opposite directions.
First up is Cord Jefferson’s directorial debut, titled “American Fiction,” which hits theaters in December. The Daily Beast called it “a cinematic stick of dynamite,” and MGM/Orion Pictures summarizes the plot this way:
Jeffrey Wright stars as Monk, a frustrated novelist who’s fed up with the establishment profiting from “Black” entertainment that relies on tired and offensive tropes. To prove his point, Monk uses a pen name to write an outlandish “Black” book of his own, a book that propels him to the heart of hypocrisy and the madness he claims to disdain.
Monk appears to be a well-educated man and a great writer, but he can’t sell books because publishers want what his agent called “a black book,” meaning one that depicts inner-city life. “They have a black book,” Monk replies. “I’m black, and it’s my book.”
To our eyes, the trailer indicates that the film is lampooning elitist leftists who stereotype blacks and expect them to live down to that stereotype. Whether that’s ultimately the message leftist elites in Hollywood intend to convey — well, that remains to be seen. But both Jefferson and Wright are black, and maybe they’ve had enough.
“Look at what they publish. Look at what they expect us to write,” Wright’s character says exasperatedly as the trailer shows a book titled We’s Lives in da Ghetto. “I just want to rub their noses in it.” He proceeds to type “My Pathology” before changing the spelling to “Pafology.”
This begins a story of his adopting a different persona he knows will be considered “black,” which leads to (white) media fawning, massive book sales, and a lucrative movie deal. “The dumber I behave, the richer I get,” Monk marvels. It will be fascinating to see the resolution of that tension.
In contrast, we have Ibram X. Kendi, who has indeed embarked upon a profitable career telling white leftists all about the racism of the system. Kendi recently garnered some unfavorable press after his $43 million grifting operation at Boston University’s Center for Antiracist Research laid off nearly half of its employees in September, while he seems to be doing just fine.
He is the embodiment of Booker T. Washington’s admonition about “another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs and the hardships of the Negro race before the public.” They do this, Washington said, “partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays.” It’s paid for Kendi, alright.
His seeming response to bad press is to release a documentary in select theaters and on Netflix this month. Monk’s character in “American Fiction” parlays a bad book into a multimillion-dollar movie. Kendi’s doing it in real life, as “Stamped From the Beginning” is an adaptation of his 2016 book by the same name.
The trailer indicates it’ll be exactly the kind of race bait we expect from the Left generally and a Marxist purveyor of critical race theory like Kendi specifically.
“The myth of black inferiority is destroyed,” says one woman. Another says, “If you make us a threat, then you remove our humanity.” A third says, “It justifies all kinds of horrific actions.” Others in the trailer talk about erasing history — probably a reference to people who don’t want to focus on racism and slavery all the time, not the ones who are melting down statues and celebrating it or the ones largely ignoring or enabling the wave of black-on-black crime in inner cities.
If you noticed that Kendi’s trailer featured all black women, that was intentional.
“When we started looking at historians and scholars, we came up with a long list,” noted director Roger Ross Williams. “I noticed the pattern that most of the people doing the work around racism in America were black women.” When he asked them why they did such work, he says they responded “that they had no choice” because racism was their lived experience. “If they’re going to dedicate their life to something, it’s going to be about changing and understanding racism in America because they can’t escape racism in America,” he said. “I said to everyone, ‘We’re going to have only black women in this film.’”
Gee, whatever happened to diversity, equity, and inclusion? And have you ever noticed that the leftists who just want to “have a conversation about racism” only want one side to speak while the other sits down and shuts up?
The irony here is that racists like Kendi and the scholars in his film are perpetuating “the myth of black inferiority” by casting blacks as only ever victims of oppression. They are stoking the flames of racism and racial resentment. They are producing exactly the kind of material that leftist whites desperately fawn over as they bow to it like the absurd characters in “American Fiction.”
Unfortunately, as “American Fiction” depicts, there’s a lot of money to be made in prolonging the problem.
Our so-called “experts” don’t understand the religious element that is motivating Hamas and its sympathizers here and throughout Europe.
Gary Bauer
It is absolutely clear now that the Biden White House and virtually every European government wants Israel to back off and back down in its war against Hamas.
Insiders are saying that Israel is under intense pressure to announce a cease-fire. In some cases, the White House and European governments are motivated by fear of what they’re seeing in the streets of our major cities.
The pro-Hamas mass demonstrations in New York, London, Paris and Berlin have shocked political observers across the spectrum. They’re worried about the potential political fallout. They think if they can just get Israel to end this, the demonstrations will go away and everything will return to normal.
I know this is the view at the State Department. Sadly, I suspect it is the view at the increasingly woke Pentagon.
I believe the exact opposite is true, and the fact that our so-called “experts” don’t understand this is evidence that they don’t understand the religious element that is motivating Hamas and its sympathizers here and throughout Europe.
If Israel does not crush Hamas, the Islamic world will take that as evidence that “Allah is great,” and that the day when Allah will rule the world is drawing even closer.
You will see even larger demonstrations throughout the West of radicals dancing on the grave of Israel. They will claim that Israel lost. They will claim that “Hamas defeated the Zionist entity and all its might,” and you will see even more Hamas rockets fired in defiance at Israel.
Golda Meir once said, “If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel.” She was right then and she is right today.
Pressuring Israel to accept a cease-fire is the last thing we should be doing. The best way to end the “cycle of violence” is to end Hamas.
Civilization vs. Barbarism
The pressure coming from Washington must be intense because Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took to the pages of the Wall Street Journal Monday to publicly make his case against a cease-fire with Hamas. Here are some excerpts of his column:
The horrors that Hamas perpetrated on Oct. 7 remind us that we won’t realize the promise of a better future unless we, the civilized world, are willing to fight the barbarians… Since Oct. 7, Israel has been at war. Israel didn’t start this war. Israel didn’t want this war. But Israel will win this war…
I want to make clear Israel’s position regarding a cease-fire. Just as the U.S. wouldn’t have agreed to a cease-fire after the bombing of Pearl Harbor or after the terrorist attack on 9/11, Israel will not agree to a cessation of hostilities with Hamas after the horrific attacks of Oct. 7.
Calls for a cease-fire are calls for Israel to surrender to Hamas, to surrender to terrorism, to surrender to barbarism. That will not happen.
The Book of Ecclesiastes says that there is a time for peace and a time for war. This is a time for war… Today we draw a line between civilization and barbarism. It is a time for everyone to decide where they stand. Israel will stand against the forces of barbarism until victory.
I hope and pray that civilized nations everywhere will back this fight. Because Israel’s fight is your fight. If Hamas and Iran’s axis of evil win, you will be their next target. That’s why Israel’s victory will be your victory.
Prime Minister Netanyahu also presented his remarks as an address to foreign media. Watch it here.
Is this one student a microcosm of the mentally unstable state of the rest of the students supporting Hamas?
Emmy Griffin
There will always be people who take current events to a tragic extreme. But when one considers the charged anti-Jew climate at the elite institutions across our nation, it’s hardly surprising that someone decided to up the ante.
Patrick Dai is a 21-year-old junior at Cornell University. He was arrested by federal authorities after a series of threats were allegedly issued against Cornell Jewish students on an unaffiliated website. The threats included stabbing or slitting the throat of Jewish males, raping and tossing Jewish females off buildings, and beheading Jewish babies. The one that really got him into hot water though was threatening to shoot up the 104 West building. This particular building houses a kosher dining hall and is next to the Jewish Center on the Cornell campus.
Dai’s threats have earned him a charge that has the maximum sentence of five years in prison and $250,000 in fines with a supervised release after serving his sentence for up to three years.
Dai’s mental state, according to his parents, had taken a terrible turn after 2021, when Dai succumbed to severe depression. Is he another victim of the poor mental health outcome from the pandemic lockdowns, or is it something deeper?
Could his depression stem from his collegiate environment and the ever-increasing rabid activism that tends to lead its adherents down the road to poor mental health outcomes?
Not two weeks after the October 7 massacre against Israel, a professor at Cornell named Russell Rickford was made infamous by his remarks at a pro-Palestinian (read: pro-Hamas) protest. He said that the attack was “exhilarating” and “energizing” because it represented a shift in the balance of power. Rickford is now on a leave of absence from the school, but Rickford is hardly the only one to express such anti-Jew sentiments.
According to the Cornell Daily Sun, the college newspaper, there have been instances of anti-Israel graffiti on campus rallies and a general feeling of terror from the Jewish students having to endure this rise of anti-Semitic rhetoric in the wake of an attack perpetrated against Israel.
Dai may be mentally fragile, and it’s a mercy he was stopped before anything more dangerous than online threats occurred. However, Cornell and other colleges that have encouraged the anti-Israel, anti-Zionist, pro-decolonization Marxist rhetoric are entirely to blame for the shameful actions of these college students.
Should another mentally fragile leftist activist student choose to follow Dai’s example and their professor’s encouragement, the consequences would be devastating.
Twenty-four years ago, Joe Biden’s brother Frank escaped accountability for a deadly car accident.
Douglas Andrews
The more we learn about Joe Biden, the more embarrassed we should be as a nation to have elected him president. A fish rots from the head, as they say, and the Biden Crime Family is no exception.
First, we should acknowledge the defining tragedy of Joe Biden’s life: the death of his young wife, Neilia Hunter Biden, and their infant daughter, Naomi, on December 18, 1972, less than two months after he’d been elected to the U.S. Senate. They died when their station wagon collided with a hay truck while they were out shopping for Christmas presents. Biden’s two young sons, Hunter and Beau, were also in the car. They were badly injured and required extensive hospitalization.
As we noted three years ago during the run-up to the 2020 election, the police report made clear that the truck driver wasn’t at fault, and that Mrs. Biden “drove into the path” of the tractor-trailer. And yet despite this, Joe Biden for years kept telling a vicious lie that the truck driver “drank his lunch.”
Given this background, it would seem that Joe Biden, of all people, would be sensitive to the plight of a family that had been shattered by a fatal car accident. It would seem. But as Peter Schweizer wrote in his 2020 book Profiles in Corruption, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
As Schweizer reports, Joe’s younger brother Frank was living in San Diego and driving — on a suspended Florida license — a rented Jaguar XK8 sedan when, just after 11 p.m. on August 14, 1999, he and some friends decided to go to a concert at a nearby tavern. “According to court documents, he gave the keys to his young friend Jason Turton; three others piled into the backseat. Frank rode shotgun, handled the stick shift, and provided instructions as they cruised down the highway. … Soon they were humming 70 and 80 mph in a 35-mph zone” when they struck and killed Michael Albano, a 37-year-old single father who was crossing the street.
As Schweizer continues, “In depositions, two of the witnesses sitting in the backseat recall Frank Biden telling Turton to ‘keep driving’ after Albano hit the ground.” Apparently, Biden had even told the 25-year-old Turton to “punch it” shortly before they hit Albano. According to one of the passengers, “Everyone was drinking.”
Turton pleaded guilty to felony hit-and-run, while Biden, who was found partially legally responsible for Albano’s death, never acknowledged his liability. As Schweizer writes: “The guardians for Albano’s daughters sued Frank Biden in court in a ‘wrongful death’ civil lawsuit on August 14, 2000, but Frank never showed up at the courthouse. Nor did he reply to any of the legal correspondence from the court, including a court final judgment in September 2002 that Frank owed each of the girls $275,000 for his role in the tragedy.”
Being a Biden, it seems, and being the younger brother of a then-sitting U.S. senator, has its privileges. The Albano girls spent years trying to track down Frank Biden, even going so far as to hire a private investigator to serve him with documents — to little avail.
Ultimately, in September 2008, their attorney reached Senator Joe Biden, who himself was now Barack Obama’s running mate in a presidential election just weeks away. Joe Biden didn’t even reply. Instead, he had his chief of staff do so on official Senate stationery. Again, from Schweizer’s book:
Senator Biden has received your letter of September 16 regarding a judgment by your clients against his brother Frank. The Senator wishes to express his deep sympathy with the Albano daughters over their loss. … As you are aware, however, Frank has no assets with which to satisfy the judgment. The Senator regrets that this is where matters stand and that he cannot be more helpful.
In fairness to Joe Biden, back in 2008 he was still bragging about being “The Poorest Man in Congress” and had yet to crank up the influence-peddling operation with Hunter, and had yet to purchase that Delaware beach house for $3 million in cash.
Schweizer, though, thinks Biden was lying through his teeth about his brother having had no assets at the time.
Finally, though, as the UK’s Daily Mail reported on October 1, 2020, “Joe Biden’s brother will finally cough up some of the $1 million in compensation he owes the family of a young father killed in a horrific car crash more than 20 years ago.”
So what changed? Why did Frank Biden finally stop dodging creditors and come around in October 2020? It isn’t hard to figure out. His older brother was just a few weeks away from the 2020 presidential election, and he couldn’t have this scofflaw scandal hanging over his head or casting a bad light on his family’s, er, good name. “It’s no coincidence,” said a source close to the case.
These are not good people, these Bidens. They never have been. If only the mainstream media hadn’t been covering for them all these years.

On ‘The Ingraham Angle,’ Newt Gingrich says the Biden family is more like the Sopranos than the Washingtons: “We’re told this week he got another check from China, earlier we were told that he got a $200,000 check from his brother from China. Well, we now have been told that there is some 80,000 plus emails under false names that he used while haven’t there at the national archives. I mean, at what point does this become so obviously the most corrupt administration in American history that even his allies at the ‘New York Times’ and ‘The Washington Post’ have to finally break down and decide they’re going to start assigning reporters and doing what they should be doing if they were actually really newspapers? … Look, for the average American, there is an easy common sense question. If these guys were named Joe Wilmington, would they have gotten the money out of China? Would they have gotten the money out of Romania? Would they have gotten the money out of Russia? Would they have gotten the money out of Ukraine? Would they have gotten the money outside of Kazakhstan? No person in America, except some hard left dweeb believes that this money went for any reason except that Joe Biden was a major political force and that he was basically trading on his name and that his family was getting wealthy off of his name. And that he did things that aren’t — I mean, you know, he now has three times as many emails as Hillary Clinton did? That are from a fake name. I mean, this is an astonishing — in a normal world, the entire apparatus of the Justice Department would be going nuts tearing this apart. If his name was Richard Nixon this would now be a gigantic scandal and he would be on the edge of impeachment. Let’s just be clear. Only the desperation of the establishment to avoid Donald Trump winning is allowing them to prop up what is clearly a corrupt, totally dishonest and routinely every day lying family who are closer to the Sopranos than they are to George Washington.”

The House of Representatives voted against a resolution to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). The resolution, which accused Tlaib of being “the most pro-terrorist, pro-Hamas, anti-Israel, and antisemitic member of Congress,” failed to pass with a vote of 222-186. Notably, twenty-two Republicans sided with the Democrats to table the resolution, preventing further debate on the matter.
The list of Republicans who voted against the censure includes:
Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI)
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY)
Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-ND)
Rep. Max Miller (R-OH)
Rep. John Duarte (R-CA)

Rep. Jay Obernolte (R-CA)
Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX)
Rep. Bryan Steil (R-WI)

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) was among those who voted to table the motion. In a statement released on Thursday, Roy explained his decision, stating, “Rep. Rashida Tlaib has repeatedly made outrageous remarks toward Israel and the Jewish people. Her conduct is unbecoming of a member of Congress and certainly worthy of condemnation – if not censure.” He further elaborated on his concerns about the resolution’s language, particularly its use of the term ‘insurrection.’
“However, tonight’s feckless resolution to censure Tlaib was deeply flawed and made legally and factually unverified claims, including the claim of leading an ‘insurrection’.”

He added, “I voted to table the resolution. In January 2021, the legal term insurrection was stretched and abused by many following the events at the Capitol. We should not continue to perpetuate claims of ‘insurrection’ at the Capitol and we should not abuse the term now.”

Roy’s decision did not sit well with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. She was quick to criticize Roy, stating, “You voted to kick me out of the freedom caucus, but keep CNN wannabe Ken Buck and vaping groping Lauren Boebert and you voted with the Democrats to protect Terrorist Tlaib. You hate Trump, certified Biden’s election, and could care less about J6 defendants being persecuted.”

Another Republican, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), who also voted against the censure, released a statement defending his decision. He emphasized the importance of free speech.
“January 6 protestors were not insurrectionists, nor were those led by Rep. Tlaib. I voted to table a censure resolution of Rep Tlaib in part because it was modeled after legislation that condemned J6 protestors. Also: Free speech means protecting even the speech you don’t like,” Massie wrote.

“Censure is Congress’s free speech to condemn another member’s actions and words (speech). Refusing to censure is not defending Terrorist Tlaib’s freedom of speech, it’s allowing her to continue. Until we force Dems to live by their own rules, nothing will change and you know it.”
MTG, however, was not convinced. She responded to Massie’s statement, arguing that refusing to censure Tlaib was not a defense of Tlaib’s freedom of speech but rather an endorsement of her continued actions and words.
“Censure is Congress’s free speech to condemn another member’s actions and words (speech). Refusing to censure is not defending Terrorist Tlaib’s freedom of speech, it’s allowing her to continue. Until we force Dems to live by their own rules, nothing will change and you know it,” said MTG.

In a subsequent post, MTG expressed her disappointment with the 22 Republicans who did not support the censure. She accused them of hiding behind the Constitution and not representing the “We the People.”
Our country is in the worst crisis in it’s history in every category and the Democrats are full blown communists and Republicans can’t even censure Rashida Tlaib. Conservatives on this list hide behind excuses with their white wigs on and quote the constitution.
They claim the reason they voted with the Democrats to table my censure resolution against Rashida Tlaib is bc her full blown support of Hamas, w/words and actions, is her “free speech”, yet they are unwilling to use Congress’s free speech, which is censure, to condemn her!
They are clutching their pearls because I called Oct 18th an insurrection. The DOJ is weaponized against conservatives, Trump supporters, and Trump himself and is abusing their power to persecute them with the full weight of the government calling Jan 6th an insurrection.
If Jan 6th was an insurrection so was Oct 18th and the DOJ must be forced to prosecute everyone involved on Oct 18th exactly the same way. Strongly worded letters and 5 min clips at committee hearings aren’t going to stop Democrat’s DOJ from crushing people for politics.
Republicans who spout the constitution and quote the founding fathers with their excuses as to why they never hold anyone accountable and never do anything to stop the destruction of our country by the enemies in power…
Forget that our founding fathers were so fearless that they risked life, liberty, and freedom and declared a revolution against the King with the strongest military in the world! And 23 Republicans couldn’t even vote to censure Tlaib while claiming they defend freedom.
The American people are so disgusted with Republicans who never do a damn thing to stop the injustices constantly committed by Washington. They have no faith or confidence in Republicans to ever hold anyone accountable.
The country will just keep imploding, and Republicans will do nothing. They’ll complain on TV, and they’ll tell you how many illegals have invaded our country, and that terrorist are inside on the verge of attacking us, but Republicans will do nothing.
Republicans can’t even impeach Mayorkas. Instead our Republican majority Congress is on the verge of writing billion dollar checks for 2 foreign wars, but won’t hold the line in negotiations with the Senate and the White House to force our border security and deportations.
But don’t worry Republicans will keep doing hearings and border trips. Drag that podium out and give another press conference at the border. Don’t impeach anyone. That might be going too far, just like censuring Terrorist Tlaib. And when terrorists attacks do happen, write another strongly worded letter! Remember the Russian collusion witch hunt against Trump? Republicans never did anything to stop it.
Today, the DOJ has become the very tyrannical government our founding fathers warned us about and Republicans do nothing.
JB Hixson is back to chat with Mary Danielsen about the priniciples we can incorporate into our understanding of the times, ie, how to sort through the daily deluge of info that most of us use to interpret our world. How to watch, how to read, how to hear – and how to filter everything through Scripture and the knowledge that the “whole world is under the sway of the wicked one.” (1John 5:19). However bad you might think the state of the world is, it’s much worse, and this should help us stay awake at all times, or maybe just make us lose sleep! We talk about illusions in politics and history and just about anything is fair game regarding the Left/Right political paradigm that rules the United States.
Free speech is an essential foundation for a free society. Unfortunately, authoritarians in this country and around the world want to stop the free exchange of ideas and information. That is why an eclectic group signed the “Westminster Declaration.”
Among the signers are psychologist Jordan Peterson, British biologist and atheist Richard Dawkins, social psychologist Jonathan Haidt, former ACLU president and law professor Nadine Strossen, editor Julian Assange, journalist Matt Taibbi, and author and researcher Michael Shellenberger. I have quoted many of these people and even had some of them on my radio program, even though we would disagree about many of the topics we cover from a biblical perspective.
“Coming from the left, right, and center, we are united by our commitment to universal human rights and freedom of speech, and we are all deeply concerned about attempts to label protected speech as ‘misinformation,’ ‘disinformation,’ and other ill-defined terms.”
They warn that “government actors, social media companies, universities, and NGOs are increasingly working to monitor citizens and rob them of their voices. These large-scale coordinated efforts are sometimes referred to as the ‘Censorship-Industrial Complex.’”
This is an important document. We can see from history that attacks on free speech and limits on religious liberty often are precursors to attacks on other liberties. These thought leaders understand what is at stake and are calling for governments and tech companies to respect free speech and stop the censorship.
I think we should all applaud them for calling attention to this important issue.

House investigator outlines status of evidence against president, family
When Republicans took over the majority in the U.S. House earlier this year, there were hints of problems for Joe Biden and his family.
There was Hunter Biden’s stunning million-dollar-a-year payments from Burisma, in Ukraine, and Joe Biden’s boast about, as vice president, having gotten an investigator looking into Burisma corruption fired by threatening to withhold aid paid for by American taxpayers.
There were those surprising payments, in the millions of dollars, to various Biden family members. Sometimes those payments came from people and groups in China and Russia, obviously not friends of the U.S.
So lawmakers started investigating.
And now there’s more evidence, a lot more.
U.S. Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., who’s been working on those reviews, has explained in an interview just how much is there.
The next steps, he confirmed, will be to summon Biden family members to testify under oath.
It is on a Rumble video that Comer delivers the details:
“I could have issued a subpoena weeks ago but we didn’t have the bank records. Now we have the bank records,” he said. “Now you want to bring ’em in. I think what the Biden legal team strategy was … they watch conservative media, they’re like ‘We need to subpoena Hunter Biden on day one…’”
Comer explained, “No one knew when we started this investigation there were 20 shell companies. No one knew that now 10 Bidens have received money from the influence peddling scheme. No one knew that these shell companies had dozens and dozens of bank accounts in each shell company. No one knew about that $200,000 wire from the health care company to Jim Biden that went to Joe Biden.
“We now know that Joe Biden benefited. And that’s because we continue to receive bank documents we have subpoenaed. I think we’ve issued 10 subpoenas pertaining to bank documents and pertaining to the Biden investigation.”
He expressed wonder at the “dozens and dozens” of bank accounts held by the Bidens relating to some 20 “shell companies.”
“It’s taken a long time to get this information in. But we have it in. We’re able to trace the money now. We can bring the Bidens in and ask ’em specific questions.”
The case, including for the possible impeachment of Joe Biden, is being made, he said.
“No one is disputing the fact the Bidens were influence peddling now,” he said.
He said now Democrats are saying, “Well they were influence peddling but Joe didn’t know anything about it, and Joe didn’t benefit from it.”
He said the evidence shows otherwise.
“We know that Joe met every one of these people, including the health care deal in Florida that they swindled out of $600,000. … And we can trace the money.”
Further, the investigation is spreading into branches of Deep State in Washington, he said, since the FBI, DOJ, and IRS “all knew this was going on.”
He said the evidence not only confirms crimes now, but also “cover-ups.”
