There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard

IV.What Does a Christian Mean When They Confess Their Salvation to be by Grace Alone?
Sola Gratia – Grace Alone – Pastor Patrick Hines Sermon (Ephesians 1:3-6, Romans 4:14-16)
Ephesians 1:3-6 New American Standard Bible 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, with which He favored us in the Beloved.
Romans 4:14-16 14 For if those who are of the Law are heirs, then faith is made void and the promise is nullified; 15 for the Law brings about wrath, but where there is no law, there also is no violation.
16 For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

We also believe that Christian Worship is to be regulated and defined by God’s Word, the Bible.
Our worship services are designed to please and honor the Triune God of the Bible. We place Scripture reading and the preaching of the word of God at the center of worship along with Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. These are God’s gifts to His church and ought to always be at the center of Christian worship. We are a congregation that loves to sing God’s praises, recite His Word back to Him, and actively engage in hearing and learning from God’s Word.
We embrace and promote a comprehensive Christian world and life view.
There is no area of life which is not under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is to God and His law which all people, including governments and civil rulers, will answer. The Word of God embraces and informs the way we view marriage, the family, children, education, politics, worship, law, government, war, the church, missions, evangelism, and worship. In the world today there is a battle of opposing worldviews. There are basically only two positions: God’s Word and man’s ideas. We stand positively for Biblical truth and negatively against man’s ideas which are opposed to Biblical truth.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for mankind.
Because all men fall short of obeying God’s law, all men everywhere are in need of divine grace and salvation from God. This salvation is found only in the Lord Jesus Christ who died for sinners, was buried, rose again, and is alive today seated at God the Father’s right hand.
We offer nursery during morning worship service for newborns and infants but encourage people to keep as many of their children as they can with them for morning worship. The audio of the service is in the nursery via speakers. There is also a crying room with a video screen and audio of the sermon. We offer Sunday school classes for all ages but worship together as families. We do not offer “children’s” church. Children need to be in morning worship as soon as possible so they can learn how to participate as active worshipers of God which includes the singing of His praises and listening actively to sermons.
1 Whatever Israel’s blindness and insensitivity may have been in the past, God says thay are to forget that and concentrate on one fact: whose they are. The oracular form thus says the Lord underlines the firmness of this call. It is a call not to be afraid: Do not fear. This expression points out what would be the deepest pain of the exile, the fear that Israel’s sense of identity, the glory of having been a particular people called out by the eternal God, was after all just a fantasy. Much can be endured if we have a sense of destiny borne out of particular identity. Strip that away from us and we think going on in life is hardly worth it. The repeated “do not fear” (41:10, 13, 14; 43:1, 5; 44:1, 8) particularly addresses this issue: the fear that God has forsaken them, or worse, never was theirs in the first place.
In the language of Gen. 1 and 2 Isaiah reminds the people that just as God created and shaped the physical universe, so he brought them into existence as his own people. Although the emphasis here is not on the doctrine of creation, there can be no question that that doctrine is in the background. The argument that Israel is a particular creation of God could have force only if the hearers understood the allusion to creation. “Just as he created the heavens and shaped the earth, so he has created Israel; and do you think he will forget us?” The use of the paired name, Jacob/Israel, underlines both the tenderness of God toward the people and also the sense of their being a creation of God. In Egypt and at Sinai God had taken a disparate people whose only commonality was an ancestor and had made them into a nation. They had not become a nation through the long slow processes of history, but had been forged in an instant (comparatively) through the will and activity of God alone, just as he had singled out their father Jacob, and before that, his father Abraham, and had set them on a completely new path.
Scholarly opinions vary considerably as to the significance of the perfect tenses of redeemed and called. Some believe that both are the so-called prophetic perfect in which future action is seen as already completed (so Muilenburg). But calling by name is most likely a past action, referring to the naming of a child at its birth, as God had named his people Israel. Thus others see both as completed actions in the past (so Delitzsch). This view has fewer difficulties than the previous one, seeing the act of redemption as having occurred at the exodus. Yet in a sense the hope of redemption to come supplies the rationale for not fearing. Because of this point, others (e.g., Schoors) see “reedeemed” as prophetic and “called” as past, with present and future redemption springing from past calling.13 Yet nothing in the sentence itself would signal such divergent usage. Perhaps Pieper has it best when he sees both perfect verbs as representing timeless fact, true in all eras. In any case, as Alexander notes, the reference to redemption calls to mind all the stipulations for redemption in the Mosaic law. Whatever misfortunes life may have brought, no one need be trapped in them forever. Provision is made for a family member, a friend, or even oneself to pay back the debt, to deliver the slave, to commute the sentence. In God’s world fate does not have the last word. In particular, the provisions for redemption by means of substitution in the case of the firstborn (Exod. 34:20; Num. 3:45; 18:16) may explain the references to substitution here in vv. 3 and 4.[1]
43:1 Calling a person by name indicates a high level of familiarity. The phrase might even hint at the fact that God gave them their names, an act to indicate superiority and perhaps even ownership. God gave Israel its name when he changed the name of the patriarch Jacob to Israel (Gn 32:28). The intention of this pronouncement is expressed clearly at the start (Do not fear; see also 43:5). God informed his people about their coming deliverance to keep them from caving in to fear.[2]
43:1 God claims Israel as His own on the basis of four factors: (1) creation, (2) formation, (3) redemption, and (4) naming, which according to Oriental custom signified ownership (cf. Rom. 8:29, note).[3]
43:1he who created you, Jacob Yahweh is responsible for both Israel’s creation as living beings and their formation as a nation. Isaiah uses creation language to emphasize God’s power as Creator and His special attention to His chosen people.
I have redeemed you God already identified Himself as their Redeemer in 41:14. Now, He reminds them of the relationship between Redeemer and redeemed. The exiles have no reason to fear, because salvation is assured.
Compare Exod 6:6–7 where Yahweh similarly promises to redeem Israel and take them as His people.
I have called you by your name Isaiah’s speeches throughout this section emphasize Yahweh’s special choice of Israel (see Isa 41:8–9; 45:3–4).[4]
43:1Fear not. Knowing what they deserve, the people should fear; but hearing of their Redeemer’s choice and promise, they should not fear. redeemed. See note on 41:14. you are mine. What defines them is not their guilty blindness (42:18–25) but the grace of the One who says, “You are mine” (cf. Ex. 6:7).[5]
43:1 formed. The only explanation for the ongoing existence of the nation of Israel is God’s sovereign grace, which brought her into existence from nothing (cf. Dt 7:6–11) and sustains her. Since she was God’s creation, she could find comfort in knowing that no one or nothing can destroy her, not even her own wickedness (cf. 43:18–25; Ro 11:1, 2, 25–27). Jacob … Israel. This double designation (cf. Ge 32:28) for God’s chosen nation is used by Isaiah 21 times, 16 of them in chaps. 40–49 (9:8; 10:20; 14:1; 27:6; 29:23; 40:27; 41:8, 14; 42:24; 43:1, 22, 28; 44:1, 21, 23; 45:4; 46:3; 48:1, 12; 49:5, 6). This speaks of the Lord’s special attachment to Abraham’s physical seed. Do not fear. The Lord repeated His word, relieving Israel’s fear (35:4; 41:10, 13, 14; cf. 7:4). redeemed. God’s redemption of His people from exile is not to be complete until His Servant returns to reign over the faithful remnant in the land of Israel who have believed on Jesus Christ (cf. Zec 12:10–13:1; Ro 11:25–27; Rev 11:13). The limited return from Babylon only typified the final return. See note on 43:14.[6]
43:1Thus says the Lord emphasizes the Author of the prophecy and the certainty that it will be fulfilled (49:8; 50:1; 56:1). The words created and formed allude to the creation of the human race in Gen. 1; 2. The Hebrew verb translated created means “to fashion anew”—a divine activity, and is the same key word used in Gen. 1:1 (40:26; 41:20; 45:12, 18; 57:19; 65:17, 18). The second verb formed means “to shape,” to fashion as a potter, and is used in Gen. 2:7 of God fashioning the body of the man from the dust of the earth. The use of these verbs here suggests that the Lord’s creation of Israel as a people was as decisive an act as His creation of human beings at the beginning. In the same way, the NT describes Christians as new creations in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17; Eph. 2:10). by your name: The Lord’s use of name demonstrates His intimate relationship with the Israelites. He had revealed His name to the people (Ex. 6:2–8) and declared their name to Pharaoh (Ex. 4:22).[7]
1. But now makes a logical connection with what has gone before: ‘Now then’. Israel has been revealed as blind (42:19), inattentive (42:20), falling short of the Lord’s plan (42:21), defeated (42:2), sinfully disobedient (42:24), spiritually uncomprehending and insensitive (42:25). ‘Now then’ is enough to make us quake in our shoes! How will the Lord react to such a catalogue of culpability? Created … formed: the verbs are used in their established sense, the former to bring into being, de novo, by a sole and free act of God, and the latter to fashion and mould into shape as a potter would. So the Lord determined to have a people for his very own, brought them into being and shaped them on the wheel of circumstances. This is the first ground on which the Lord will say, you are mine (Eph. 1:4; 2:10). The second ground is redemption. The verb is √gā’al (35:10). The Lord made himself the Next-of-Kin of the people he had created. They are his family and he shoulders all their needs as if his own. The third ground is the personal relationship between the Lord and his people (summoned by name) whereby, as we might say, they are on first-name terms.[8]

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.Romans 16:20
This promise follows well upon that of yesterday. We are evidently to be conformed to our covenant Head, not only in His being bruised in His heel but in His conquest of the evil one. Even under our feet is the old dragon to be bruised. The Roman believers were grieved with strife in the church; but their God was “the God of peace” and gave them rest of soul. The archenemy tripped up the feet of the unwary and deceived the hearts of the simple; but he was to get the worst of it and to be trodden down by those whom he had troubled. This victory would not come to the people of God through their own skill or power; but God Himself would bruise Satan. Though it would be under their feet, yet the bruising would be of the Lord alone.
Let us bravely tread upon the tempter! Not only inferior spirits but the prince of darkness himself must go down before us. In unquestioning confidence in God let us look for speedy victory. “Shortly.” Happy word! Shortly we shall set our foot on the old serpent! What a joy to crush evil! What dishonor to Satan to have his head bruised by human feet! Let us by faith in Jesus tread the tempter down.
“Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold” (Matthew 24:10).
The Lord’s warning was not just about conditions in the world; He is speaking to His disciples. He warned about conditions in the church.
Today, the church is overstocked with Christians whose love has grown cold.
As a result, rancor fills our conversations. We have become a sub-culture that is mad that the world has not become Christian, while we are tolerant that we are not Christlike.
When you discuss things that are wrong, does rancor come forth or prayer? The word rancor came from Latin rancere, which meant, “to stink.” (See rancid). This is exactly what we exude heavenward when all we do is find fault and criticize. The smell of our rancor ascends into the awareness of God. These things ought not to be.
On the other hand, intercessory prayer is a sweet aroma to God. Again, when we pass through trials and determine to emerge more like Jesus, our very lives become “a fragrance of Christ to God” (2 Corinthians. 2:15). Amazing! in spite of our flaws and weaknesses, while we are living in this harsh world, we can actually become like Christ.
Indeed, may this be the passion of all who trust God’s Son: to become a fragrance of Christ to God.
“Let love of the brethren continue. Let love of the brethren continue.” Hebrews 13:1 (NLT)
When you think of the word church what comes to mind?
Perhaps a building or a religious organization? Nelson’s Bible Dictionary describes church as “A local assembly of believers as well as the redeemed of all the ages who follow Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. When the church general is implied, “church” refers to all who follow Christ, without respect to locality or time.” And that “It will not be complete until after the judgment, and the assembly of all the redeemed in one place will become a reality only after the return of Christ.”
The church is not a building nor is it known by a particular name. God’s people are what makes up the body of Christ. Whether you belong to a small church or a large church makes no difference to God. God loves his entire church regardless of size. Whether your church gathers in an epic building, a room at the YMCA or a prison cell doesn’t matter. God loves all his people regardless of where they meet.
Jesus said, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another” (John 13:34 NLT). Don’t judge nor look down on others because they don’t attend the same church “building” you do. Remember God loves all His people no matter which church they attend.
More To Ponder: Let God know how grateful you are that He chose and adopted you into His family of believers. Tell Jesus how excited you are about the great assembly that will take place after His return for His bride, the church.

NASA warns of the approach of the asteroid Apophis, the size of the Empire State Building Over time, NASA and various experts have issued all kinds of warnings about asteroids and other objects that, to a greater or lesser extent, have been relatively close to the planet Earth. However, none of them has passed as close as Apophis, an asteroid that the space agency compares to the measurements of the Empire State Building. The threat will not be for another five years, that is, around 2028. However, experts have warned due to its large size and its proximity to the planet. It is believed that it will arrive “at less than a tenth of the distance of the Moon and within the orbits of some geosynchronous Earth satellites”.

Market prophet Gary Shilling issued a raft of dire warnings to investors in an interview this week.
Stocks may crash 30%, a recession is imminent, and commercial real estate is a bubble about to burst, he said.
The Fed is likely to crush inflation and start cutting interest rates next year, Shilling said.
Stocks could crater by 30%, the US economy is careening toward recession, and commercial real estate is a bubble about to burst, a legendary market prophet warned this week.
Gary Shilling, a veteran economist known for correctly forecasting events such as the housing crash in 2008, also predicted on “The Julia La Roche Show” that the Federal Reserve will beat inflation and start cutting interest rates next year.
Here are Shilling’s 8 best quotes, lightly edited for length and clarity:
1. “It’s fair to say that most forecasters on Wall Street are paid to be bullish. I know from personal experience that if you’re bearish, even if you’re correct, it’s very detrimental to job security. That’s why I set up my own firm many years ago, to avoid that hazard.”
2. “I’ve been of the opinion that stocks would decline about 30% to 40%, peak to trough. You’d have a further decline of about 30% from here to get to that 40% overall decline.” (Shilling’s forecast suggests the S&P 500 could fall to around 2,900 points or its lowest level since the pandemic.)
3. “The Fed was very much late to the party. They had a huge credibility problem, and I think that’s a strong reason they’ve decided they are going to kill inflation. They realize that if they don’t, their credibility will be very seriously impaired, and they’ll have a much tougher time later.”
4. “There’s a growing realization that the Fed is serious, that they’re going to kill inflation, that recession is probably the price of that, and that the Fed is restoring its credibility.”
5. “We probably do have a recession coming shortly, if we’re not already in it — nobody rings the bell. If you look at many of the major indicators that are reliably forerunners of recessions, when you look at that combination of things, it’s pretty hard to escape a recession.” (Shilling pointed to the inverted yield curve, leading economic indicators, and the Fed’s crusade against inflation as some of the key reasons he expects a recession.)
6. “Maybe when the Fed finally does see the footprints on the ceiling and starts to cut rates, it could come with a lot more speed. But it could be well into next year before they finally see enough evidence of a weak economy and inflation cut back, to lower rates and make a decided shift from credit tightness to ease.”
7. “What was amazing to me was, when it just seemed so obvious that this was an unbelievable bubble, that a lot of people believed it. It was just so extreme, but it took a long time for people to realize that. Why? Well you see what happened, all the big banks had to be bailed out, the mortgage lenders and so on, and a lot of blood on the floor. There were a lot of people who believed in free lunch.” (He was reflecting on the mid-2000s housing bubble and subsequent crash, and said he made 20 times his money with the help of hedge fund manager John Paulson.)
8. “I think the biggest bubble right now is commercial real estate. This isn’t of the magnitude of the subprime-mortgage bonanza, but I think it is a bubble which is beginning to crack.” (Shilling pointed to not just office buildings, where occupancy has been hit by the remote-working boom, but also hotels and shopping malls that have been struggling for a while.)

“The American people can always be trusted to evaluate information and make their own judgments and decisions. When bureaucrats and partisan activists withhold data to advance a narrative, it erodes trust in our institutions. We must restore that trust,” wrote Johnson on X.
The release of ALL J6 footage only led to one thing: There was no insurrection!
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has demanded Speaker Johnson to form a new January 6th Select Committee, asserting that simply releasing tapes from the incident is not enough.
Greene emphasizes the need for thorough investigations and accountability for the “lies, deceit, and lives ruined.”
The Congresswoman’s call for accountability extends to every member of the original Jan 6th committee, including Nancy Pelosi, as well as agencies like the FBI, DOJ, and both DC and Capitol Police. She insists that those who provided false testimony during the Jan 6 investigations should be subpoenaed.
The corrupt Department of Justice (DOJ), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the media, and the January 6th Witch Hunt Committee bear the responsibility for the mental and emotional strain placed on these individuals under false premises.
The intense scrutiny, public shaming, and legal pressures have created an unbearable environment for those awaiting trial or serving sentences, which contributed to a sense of hopelessness and isolation, ultimately leading to tragic outcomes.
Greene’s statement further demands the drafting of criminal referrals, advocating for prosecutions to be conducted under a DOJ led by the Trump administration. She argues that this is crucial for ensuring justice and addressing the alleged wrongdoings in the handling of the Jan 6th aftermath.
I’m calling on @SpeakerJohnson to create a January 6th Select Committee.
Releasing the tapes is not enough!
There needs to be investigations and ACCOUNTABILITY for ALL of the lies, deceit, and lives ruined.
Every member of the Jan 6th committee, Nancy Pelosi, FBI, DOJ, DC…
On Saturday, Julie Kelly, an investigative journalist, joined Steve Bannon on The War Room, shared the same sentiment, and called for a new Congressional investigation committee into the events of that day.
Steve Bannon agreed and insists investigators will find “brazen criminality” committed by the committee members in their sham investigation and fraudulent report.
Kelly specifically targeted the testimony of four police officers – Aquilino Gonell, Michael Fanone, Dan Hodges, and Harry Dunn – who had previously testified before Nancy Pelosi’s sham January 6 Committee. Kelly accused these officers of lying under oath in their testimony and in court, claiming that the new footage contradicts their accounts. She argued that their false statements led to longer prison sentences for some defendants due to allegations of racism and violence.
“I want all of those four celebrity January 6 cops, Mike Fanone, Dan Hodges, Aquilino Ganell, and Harry Dunn. They not only lied under oath to Congress in that hearing, they have lied under oath in court testimony and victim impact statements that have prompted longer prison sentences because they’ve all lied about what they endured on January 6, what they saw, allegations of racism. Michael Fanone was almost killed. We also have footage that totally contradicts that. Those four need to be put back on the stand under oath and explain their lies,” Kelly said during the interview.
It can be recalled RINO sellout Liz Cheney was appointed to leadership within the sham Jan. 6th select committee. The unhinged congresswoman will now serve as the vice chair of Pelosi’s partisan clown show.
The committee chairman – Mississippi Rep. Bennie Thompson – picked Cheney for the position because she has been so committed to “doing whatever it takes” to railroad Trump supporters and dissenters throughout the bogus investigation.
This is after she refused Republican House Leader Kevin McCarthy‘s list. Pelosi would not approve Representative Jim Jordan or Representative Jim Banks to the committee. This is because the two representatives would have revealed that it was Nancy Pelosi who actually turned down the request for extra security at the Capitol on that day. This was Pelosi‘s responsibility, and she failed.
The sham January 6 Committee late Thursday night released its final report and accused Trump of a “multi-part conspiracy to overturn” the 2020 election.
The biased panel recommended banning Trump from office, of course.
Pursue criminal and civil accountability for those accused of misconduct in the Jan. 6 report, including lawyers.
Push federal agencies to fight violent activity and review their intelligence sharing.
Ask Congress to create a formal mechanism to bar individuals from future office, using the 14th Amendment.
Ask for congressional joint sessions to be treated as National Special Security Events on par with inauguration and State of the Union.
Push for more severe punishments for attempting to impede transfer of power.
Pass legislation to let the House more formally enforce subpoenas in federal court.
Push for stronger punishments for threats against election workers.
Push for more oversight of Capitol Police, including joint hearings.
Congressional committees “should continue to evaluate policies of media companies that have had the effect of radicalizing their customers, including by provoking people to attack their own country.”
Congressional committees should probe risks to future elections from presidents attempting to invoke the Insurrection Act.
The January 6 Committee shared evidence with Special Counsel Jack Smith in an effort to take down Trump. Smith then indicted Trump.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) sent a letter to House January 6th Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS) on November 2022 demanding preservation of committee records for the incoming Republican-controlled Congress next January 2023. McCarthy also said Republicans would hold hearings on why the Capitol was “not secure” on January 6, 2021.
“The American people chose Republicans to lead the 118th Congress. On January 3, 2023, your work as Chairman of the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol will come to an end. For those reasons, I remind you and your staff on the Committee to preserve all records collected and transcripts of testimony taken during your investigation in accordance with House Rule VII. As the Chairman, regardless of who may be directing the work of the Committee, you are responsible for the work done by its members and staff,” the letter read.
On January 2023, Nancy Pelosi, Liz Cheney, and Democrats locked up important videos and documents the January 6 Committee collected from the American public for 30 to 50 years after they shut down their sham investigation.
They have to hide their lies from the American public in order to save face.
The FBI, DOJ, Capitol Police, and other federal agencies had DOZENS of operatives working the crowd on January 6th.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco) already named the House Committee on House Administration the custodian of the records. Under current House rules, the committee is obligated to hand over the official records to the House clerk, who transmits them to the National Archives. The rules also prevent the National Archives from releasing committee records for at least 30 years. Sensitive records, such as those from a major investigation, can be held up to 50 years before being made public.
Although the House committee investigating the insurrection has released a trove of transcripts and underlying information backing up its report, the vast majority of raw information the panel collected is slated to be sent to the National Archives, where it could be locked away for up to 50 years.
But the proposed rules package the new Congress will vote on Tuesday orders that any record created by the panel must instead be sent to the House Committee on House Administration by Jan. 17 and orders the National Archives to return any material it has already received.
In August 2023, Trump posted on his Truth Social platform that the sham committee overseeing the investigation of the January 6th Capitol riot has destroyed their documents and records illegally.
“So now that I have full Subpoena Power because of the Freedom of Speech Sham Indictment by Crooked Joe Biden, Deranged Jack Smith, and the DOJ, it has just been reported that the Unselect January 6th Committee of Political Hacks and Thugs has illegally destroyed their Records and Documents. This is unthinkable, and the Fake Political Indictment against me must be immediately withdrawn. The system is Rigged & Corrupt, very much like the Presidential Election of 2020. We are a Nation in Decline!” Trump wrote.
“Now that we have the subpoena power, because we now have subpoena power, all of a sudden, the J6 Committee, the “Unselect” I call them, everything was deleted and destroyed. The documents – everything was deleted and destroyed. That’s a criminal act,” Trump said during the interview last August.
“All of that stuff, all of that nonsense you watch for a year and a half, go on with all Democrats and two so-called Republicans, but they were worse than any of the Democrats – Kinzinger and Cheney – it’s all been deleted and gotten rid of. They deleted it because they didn’t want anybody to see it, because the real answers were there, but they didn’t want to report it,” Trump added.
Luke 14:26 “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. 27 Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. 28 For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it? 29 Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who are watching it will begin to ridicule him, 30 saying, ‘This person began to build, and was not able to finish!’ 31 Or what king, when he sets out to meet another king in battle, will not first sit down and consider whether he is strong enough with ten thousand men to face the one coming against him with twenty thousand? 32 Otherwise, while the other is still far away, he sends a delegation and requests terms of peace. 33 So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions.
34 “Therefore, salt is good; but if even salt has become tasteless, with what will it be seasoned? 35 It is useless either for the soil or the manure pile, so it is thrown out. The one who has ears to hear, let him hear.” NASB

We Worship God Together as Families.
And can it be that I should gain An interest in the Savior’s blood? Died He for me, who caused His pain— For me, who Him to death pursued? Amazing love! How can it be, That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me? Amazing love! How can it be, That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?
’Tis mystery all: th’Immortal dies: Who can explore His strange design? In vain the firstborn seraph tries To sound the depths of love divine. ’Tis mercy all! Let earth adore, Let angel minds inquire no more. ’Tis mercy all! Let earth adore; Let angel minds inquire no more.
He left His Father’s throne above So free, so infinite His grace— Emptied Himself of all but love, And bled for Adam’s helpless race: ’Tis mercy all, immense and free, For O my God, it found out me! ’Tis mercy all, immense and free, For O my God, it found out me!
Long my imprisoned spirit lay, Fast bound in sin and nature’s night; Thine eye diffused a quickening ray— I woke, the dungeon flamed with light; My chains fell off, my heart was free, I rose, went forth, and followed Thee. My chains fell off, my heart was free, I rose, went forth, and followed Thee.
No condemnation now I dread; Jesus, and all in Him, is mine; Alive in Him, my living head, And clothed in righteousness divine, Bold I approach th’eternal throne, And claim the crown, through Christ my own. Bold I approach th’eternal throne, And claim the crown, through Christ my ow
Luke is recognized by some as the greatest historian of the ancient world. As author of the book of Acts, he offers us tremendous insights into the ancient church. Yet Luke’s early account is far more than a history book. In this sermon, R.C. Sproul begins his series in Acts to consider the reliability of this New Testament book as well as its overarching themes.
