February 18 – The grace of being allowed to worship a holy God | Reformed Perspective

“Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due His Name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” – Psalm 29:1, 2

Scripture reading: Psalm 29:1-11

It could be fairly said of King David that he was the ‘worship king.’ That is, David was consumed with the worship of our holy God. Several significant psalms come from David’s heart (by inspiration of the Holy Spirit) which seek to exalt God. David loved to meditate on and engage in the worship of Almighty God. Very often, however, David was unable to enter in and worship God. Yet, he understood that God was the King over the whole creation and was able to be worshiped where one was.

We are incredibly blessed. We get to enter in and worship God in a house of worship somewhere. Although some members are unable to come to church for a variety of reasons, most of us can freely and easily enter the church building to “…give unto the LORD the glory due His Name.” Today is the day we make use of that blessing. David does here by inspiration and directs us how we shall “Give the LORD the glory due His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”

While it is true that we should worship God in every circumstance of life continually, it is a special blessing of God’s grace to worship Him with His people in His house. Let’s make full use of the blessing of attending church today.

February 18 Evening Verse of the Day

5  The God of the OT never acts arbitrarily; he does not run his world amorally, claims the author of this verse. Nobody will receive this divine judgment simply because he is human. God is moved to anger by man’s deliberate violations of the code by which God wills his world to live. The only innocuous bystanders are the animals.

Here, first of all, is what God saw (v. 5), then how he felt (v. 6), then what he intends to do (v. 7). What God saw was both the extensiveness of sin and the intensiveness of sin. Geographically, the problem is an infested earth. Note that in 6:5–13, the earth (hāʾāreṣ) is mentioned eight times. Thus the description has all the appearances of a universal condition rather than a local one. To be sure, ʾereṣ is frequently rendered as “(local) land,” “ground,” and even “underworld.” When ʾereṣ refers to a particular piece of land, however, it is often followed by a prepositional phrase that further identifies the land (e.g., the land of the Canaanites, land of the east, land of the fathers), except in those places where mention is made theologically of the land promised to Israel. Furthermore, the reference in 7:3 to the animals of kol-hāʾāreṣ argues for an understanding of ʾereṣ elsewhere in the Flood narrative as “earth” in that almost all uses of kol-hāʾāreṣ (outside Deuteronomy and Joshua-Samuel) are references to the earth (Gen. 1:26, 28; 11:1; Exod. 9:14, 16; 19:5). Yet, verses such as Gen. 13:9, 15 show that even in Genesis kol-hāʾāreṣ refers to the whole land.

The situation is further aggravated because such depravity controls not only man’s actions but also his thoughts (māḥš^eḇōṯ): every scheme in man’s imagination was nothing but evil. The mind, too, has been perverted, an emphasis made again in 8:21. scheme, Heb. yēṣer (or, “imagination, desire”), is a nominal form of the word used in 2:7, 19 to describe the “formation” of man and animal from the soil. There God was the potter, fashioning man. Now man himself has become the potter, fashioning his thoughts. What God forms is beautiful; what man forms is repulsive. perpetually. Finally, this verse informs the reader that this kind of malaise is a chronic condition, not just a spasmodic lapse.

It is important to observe that right at the beginning there is a clear-cut moral motivation behind sending the Flood. The Gilgamesh Epic (an Akkadian story about a flood), which does have clear parallels with Gen. 6–9, lacks such a parallel here. The closest it comes is: “when their heart led the great gods to produce the flood” (Tablet XI, line 14). That vague statement is left unamplified. Later in that same tablet (line 179) the god Ea speaks to Enlil (the one who sent the flood): “How could you, unreasoning, bring on the deluge?”

According to a related flood story, the Atrahasis Epic, twelve hundred years after man’s creation his noise and commotion has become so loud that Enlil starts to suffer from insomnia. Enlil sends a plague to eradicate boisterous humanity, only to have his plan thwarted. Next he tries drought and famine, which are also unsuccessful. Finally a flood is sent, which Atrahasis survives by building a boat. To call this noise moral turbulence or to understand the clamor of mankind as man’s chronic depravity reads into the text far too much. The problem is simply that there are too many people, with the result that there is too much noise. There is a limit on Enlil’s auditory capacities. It really should not surprise us that in a system of thought where the gods are not necessarily morally superior to human beings, and where the line between good and evil is blurred, there is no recording of the fact that man is to be drowned because he is a rebel and a sinner.^[1]

6:5. And Yahweh saw that the evil of mankind was great on the earth, and every purpose of the thoughts of their heart was only evil every day.

In the opening chapter of Genesis, God had reviewed his own activity; he ‘saw’ creation and he appraised it as ‘good’ (1:31). Now, with regard to the deeds and actions of men, Yahweh reviews them and appraises them—that is, he ‘saw’. Yet, whereas God’s works are deemed to have been very good, mankind’s works are pronounced ‘evil’. Humanity has been fruitful and multiplied by filling the earth with violence and wickedness (6:11).

Observe that it is not only mankind’s actions that are evil, but the very thoughts and intents of their hearts are wicked. The word ‘purpose’ describes what is framed in the mind, including imagination and thoughts. It is related to the verb yāṣar, which was used earlier of God’s creation of humanity (2:8). The contrast is obvious: what God forms is very good, but what man forms, in mind and deed, is evil.

The term ‘heart’ may cause some confusion because the Western mind sees the heart as the seat of the emotions. But the Hebrew makes no such distinction between mind and heart. The heart for the Hebrew is the persona, the inner being, the seat of both thought and emotion. It is the essence of the person. Thus what we see is the condition of total depravity reigning among mankind on earth.^[2]

6:5 “the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great” This section of Scripture emphasizes the development of evil in the heart of mankind (BDB 906, KB 1157, Qal IMPERFECT, cf. Gen. 6:11–12, 13b; 8:21; Ps. 14:3; 51:5) which is a direct paradox to the goodness of creation in Gen. 1:31.

■ “and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” This result of Adam and Eve’s fall had reached universal proportions. All but six people were hopelessly affected by evil. They dwelt on thinking about evil, night and day!

The concept of “evil intent” (ysr, BDB 428) becomes the rabbinical understanding of mankind’s moral nature. They see mankind as exercising one of two intents (good or evil). This famous proverb, “in every man’s heart is a black and a white dog; the one you feed the most becomes the biggest” (paraphrase), describes mankind. This view of mankind is strengthened by 4:7. Jewish theologians do not emphasize Gen. 3 but Gen. 6 as the source of evil in the world. Children are not evil at birth because moral responsibility comes only with knowledge (bar mitzvah, bat mitzvah). Evil consists of choices!^[3]

Our Mighty God – Bible Apologetics – A DAILY DEVOTIONAL

While most Christians would agree that we serve a mighty God sometimes we forget that while we have faith that our eternal destiny is secure, we doubt His ability to supply our present needs. But if we believe that one day God will resurrect us from the dead, give us a glorified body, and shower us with the awesome blessings that await us in heaven, why do we have such a hard time trusting Him to always be there to provide for our daily needs?

Max Lucado helps us see how our perspective needs to be adjusted from not just the awesomeness of His power but to His ability to provide for our daily bread. Why not take a moment to slowly read Max’s words: “If your God is mighty enough to ignite the sun, could it be that He is mighty enough to light your path?”1 Scripture tells us: “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (Psalm 19:1). What could be more mighty than to speak the word and cause the universe to come into existence. But the Bible also tells us: “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” (Psalm 119:105). The simple, yet amazingly powerful, Word of God  often is all we need to live a life of peace, joy and rich meaning, by just reading and believing its precious verses. 

So many times we look at God’s mighty deeds such as His keeping our massive planet in orbit around our sun or His allowing the mighty flow of water from Niagara Falls in upstate New York, and yet forget that He often speaks to us in His still small voice, letting us know He loves us, has a wonderful plan for our lives, and that He will never leave us or forsake us. 

My friends, I pray that we not only glory in God’s awesome displays of power, but in His daily provisions, that He showers us with, as we pray to Him and as we serve Him. Just as we don’t think it strange for an earthly father to provide so much for their children in the form of material goods, guidance, and love, why shouldn’t we expect much more of these same provisions from our Heavenly Father. 

Trust Jesus – He is always there for you – now and for eternity!

God’s Hornets | VCY

God’s Hornets

And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee. (Exodus 23:28)

What the hornets were we need not consider. They were God’s own army which He sent before His people to sting their enemies and render Israel’s conquest easy. Our God by His own chosen means will fight for His people and gall their foes before they come into the actual battle. Often He confounds the adversaries of truth by methods in which reformers themselves have no hand. The air is full of mysterious influences which harass Israel’s foes. We read in the Apocalypse that “the earth helped the woman.”

Let us never fear. The stars in their courses fight against the enemies of our souls. Oftentimes when we march to the conflict we find no host to contend with. “The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” God’s hornets can do more than our weapons. We could never dream of the victory being won by such means as Jehovah will use. We must obey our marching orders and go forth to the conquest of the nations for Jesus, and we shall find that the Lord has gone before us and prepared the way; so that in the end we will joyfully confess, “His own right hand and his holy arm, have gotten him the victory.”

February 19 – The Last of the Levitical Offerings

Leviticus 7:29 — We’re making our way through the offerings of Leviticus, and currently we are in the peace offerings. These are optional unlike the others. If you’re a bit overwhelmed by the offerings, Wayne Stiles has a one-page PDF overview that you can download to better understand what they are and why they matter. “The offerings in Leviticus served as God’s gracious provision for how one could regain and sustain fellowship with God.” I like his blog because he makes extensive use of Israeli geography.

Leviticus 8:17 — They were commanded to burn the bullock for the sin offering “without the camp” in Exodus 29:14. In the New Testament, Hebrews 13:12 explains how this command was fulfilled. The Institute for Creation Research (ICR) has a good overview of the phrase “without the camp.”

Mark 4:21 — Hide it under a bushel? NO!

Psalm 37:23-24 — The chorus of “The Steps of a Good Man” from Mac Lynch of the WILDS comes word for word from Psalms 37:23-24. Another version is recorded by the wife of a pastor friend of mine.

Proverbs 10:5 — Compare to Mark 4:25, a passage we read just a few minutes ago. God rewards diligence!

As a follower of Christ, when someone asks you what you think about a particular topic, it is better not to give them your opinion, but rather, to state what you believe. As a believer, your faith is not based upon your opinion, but upon the truth of God.

Truth is different from opinion because it is founded in the nature, the character, and the will of God. Truth is different from opinion because Truth is eternal. Truth is different from opinion because truth is not influenced by national interests, personal interests, or cultural interests. Nations rise and fall, cultures come and go, and personal interests can differ from one life to the next.

Truth is a plumb line by which every life, nation, and culture can measure itself.

Truth is an anchor for the soul of every life, nation, and culture that wants to hold steady against the winds of adversity.

Truth is a light to the path of every life, nation, and culture that seeks to walk free from the deceptions that lead it into darkness.

Truth is the power that exalts a life, nation, and culture that desires to be kept from falling downward into reproach and shame.

Let the words of truth be in your love songs; Let the knowledge of truth be in your prayers; Let the practice of truth be in your kindnesses; Let the beauty of truth be in your worship; Let the utterance of truth be in your proclamations; Let the choices of truth be in your character; Let the celebration of truth be in your praise.

One of the most important parts of our legacy is to have followed the path where God’s truth has taken us.

“Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.” Psalm 25:5 (NKJV)

Praise Where Praise Is Due… Jesse Watters Talks Mail-In Ballots and Democrat Voter Fraud on FOX News – The Most Important Issue Facing the Nation (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit.

Jesse Watters ran a segment Friday on the dangers of mail-in ballots and the temptation for Democrats to commit voter fraud.

Watters warned that eight states already hold elections entirely with mail-in ballots.  The states include: California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Vermont and Washington and the District of Columbia. They all hold elections entirely by mail.

These policies are insane and allow for the opportunity of massive levels of voter fraud.

Much praise to Jesse Watters for covering this prominent issue that is famously ignored by FOX News.

Jesse Watters: There might not be lockdowns this time, but mail-in voting will still be a huge factor. Eight states are mailing ballots to every registered voter on the rolls, even if they didn’t ask for one. It’s a harvester’s dream! Ballots will be floating around the street, the floors, the garbage, the mailboxes. Wanda’s and Craig’s will be rummaging everywhere and intimidating you if you don’t hand it over.

The voter rolls are a mess, too. Johnny’s grandma and great grandma should not be getting ballots in the mail. Sadly, they died years ago in Michigan. A conservative group is suing the state, claiming there’s 26,000 dead people on the voter rolls. Michigan mailed every registered voter a ballot application. In 2020, that’s over 7 million people. The Secretary of State tried to get the case thrown out. A Biden judge denied her. We’ll keep you updated. But is Michigan going to be sending ballots to dead people? Meanwhile, Wanda, the stuffer still walking the streets in Bridgeport, and Craig, who, between stuffing ballots, moonlighting for the FBI, is out in Atlantic City…

Rasmussen Poll Unmasks the Radical Elite – Liberty Nation News

For the longest time, most Americans have viewed our political system through the prism of Republicans and Democrats, right and left, or urban and rural America. But in reality, the outlines of power are now defined by the command and control mechanisms of the most elite Americans – the true “one percent.” And while so many normal Americans believe that elites have no use for them, especially since the ascent of Donald Trump, we now have chilling data to back up that belief and quantify a foundational problem in the American political and legal system.

While correlating data from about 20 of his weekly surveys, famed pollster Scott Rasmussen started to detect a pattern. Out of every large sample of responses on people’s attitudes about our political system, there were always three or four participants who provided particularly radical responses – far from the mainstream. So Rasmussen set out to compare the demographics of these most extreme respondents. He found three characteristics in common: They all have graduate degrees, family income exceeding $150,000 a year, and live in large cities. Correspondingly, Joe Biden enjoys 84% approval among these elites while averaging less than half that among the unwashed. Many of the privileged class hold degrees from the most elite universities – Ivy League, MIT, Stanford, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, UC Berkeley, and the University of Chicago.

So Rasmussen conducted another poll of just that small fraction of responders. The results could only be described as – and we use this expression advisedly – deeply troubling. The raw data on these elites tells it all:

• 86 % are white, and 73 % are Democrats; Just under half (47 %) favor Bernie Sanders-style socialism.
• 47% also say there is “too much freedom” in America.
• 71 % have a favorable opinion of the legacy media.
• 76 % have a favorable opinion of college professors (The rest of the country? Just 17 % hold that opinion).
• 67 % (two-thirds) say teachers and other educational professionals should decide what children are taught rather than parents.
• 77 % would “impose strict restrictions and rationing on the private use of gas, meat, and electricity.”
• 72 % would ban gas-powered vehicles.
• 69 % would ban gas stoves.
• 58 % would ban SUVs.
• 55 % would ban non-essential air travel.
• 53 % would ban private air conditioning.

Go ahead and take a minute to absorb how the American elite has gone full Marie Antoinette. But at least she was willing to let the little people eat cake.

The Elite Nightmare

In a piece entitled “The Elite 1 Percent Behind the Cultural Civil War,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich emphasizes the significant value in identifying “the driving forces behind the destructive radicalism which is pushing us into a cultural civil war,” adding that “the degree to which the elite 1 percent think their views represent those of the average American is astonishing.”  In a similarly compelling article entitled “Obama’s Awful Elite Unveiled by Rasmussen” in The American Spectator, author Scott McKay pins the blame for these elite attitudes on the 44th president, arguing that “when Obama came along, he fused the radical chic of the rich white leftist in a Che Guevara T-shirt with the aspirational upward mobility of immigrants and minorities … while effectively granting themselves the ability to creatively imagine that two plus two equals five … All of a sudden, the insane proclivities described in Rasmussen’s polling represented the demands of an entire political party.”

That almost perfectly describes the Democratic Party circa 2024, a coalition of the leisure class and those who serve it.

Just imagine the plight suffered by normal people if the policies favored by the one percent were enacted. It would create a two-tier society devoid of a middle class, in which elites would command the high ground, while the low ground would be occupied by the proletariat – including illegal immigrants, who would likely no longer be deemed illegal – serving the needs of their superiors. If you want to see a microcosm of what it would look like, check out California, where the middle class is leaving in droves, no longer able to afford the cost of living and sufficating regulatory environment. We would be plunged into a nightmare with no relief, a dark world where only the privileged few would experience life as we know it.

The fact that these elites obviously possess outsized influence over the political process has undoubtedly warped the entire legal and political environment as the two became almost indistinguishable from one another. These attitudes have empowered many a politician – or “public servant” – to jump on the do-anything-to-get-Trump bandwagon undergirded by a cheerleading and equally elite corporate media with largely the same beliefs. You can see the frightening pattern emerging in the naked partisanship they no longer hide … or even pretend to hide. You almost have to admire the raw chutzpah. The left has perfected the art of projection, in this case attempting the single most anti-democratic action imaginable: convicting and imprisoning the man leading the race for president while claiming it is being done to save democracy. Nice work if you can get it.

Blue State Justice

The irony in all this – as well as the tragedy – is that those who have benefited the most from our system of governance are fully committed to preventing others from aspiring to the same quality of life. Why else would these elites find Trump such a mortal threat who must be stopped at any cost? It’s because he is the only one who will call them out and slap a label on them: the corrupt, power-hungry, hypocritical elite.

Their mindset also leads elites, starting with Joe Biden, to argue that what people are experiencing in their personal finances is simply not valid – because he judges the economy from a safe distance and bases his beliefs on macro-statistics such as the unemployment, growth, and job creation rates. This belies the reality facing Americans every day at the supermarket and gas pump – and when they open their electric bill in the midst of winter. The utter detachment of elites from the day-to-day lives of ordinary Americans is almost breathtaking.

The case of New York City District Attorney Letitia James represents the embodiment of these exact elite attitudes. Entirely unconstrained by a legal system designed to protect the innocent and convict the guilty, Ms. James ran for the office on the central premise that she would “get Trump” somehow, some way – and then proceeded to do just that with the aid and comfort of a judge who proclaimed Trump guilty before the trial even started. When a law never before applied to a single person for a supposed crime without a victim, in business that enriched all parties involved, is used to try and bankrupt the leading candidate for president, while three other courts threaten to send him to prison, what exactly distinguishes the United States of America from the third-world dictatorships our leaders supposedly abhor?

The answer is, increasingly, not much. Evidently, that’s just the way the elite one percent would like it.

Former Trump foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos joined Maria Bartiromo today on Sunday Morning Futures.

This comes after new information was released this week by Matt Taibbi, Michael Schellenberger, and Alex Gutentag on the Intelligence Community under Barack Obama using the US government to set up and spy on President Donald Trump.

For years the Obama regime and their fake news legacy media refused to report the truth on this enormous scandal. These latest reports blew the Obama scandal wide open.

Barack Obama led the largest organized criminal operation against the leading opposition candidate and elected president in US history.

Papadopoulos was caught up in the scandal and served 14 days in prison after being set up in Obama’s political assassination of President Trump and his web of lies.

George rehashed the intel operations targeting him in 2017 for being tied to Donald Trump.

Maria Bartiromo: This week, more details emerged on the extent of that hoax, with multiple sources confirming to reporters Michael Schellenberger, Matt Taibi and Alex Gutentag what we first reported here in 2018, that under former President Obama, the intelligence community, including the CIA and FBI, illegally targeted Trump advisors long before the summer of 2016 with the help of foreign intelligence agencies. The reporters added, quote, after Public and Racket had been told that President Obama’s CIA director, John Brennan, had identified 26 Trump associates for the Five Eyes to target. A source confirmed that the intelligence community had identified those people as people to bump or make contact with or manipulate. They were targets of our own intelligence community and law enforcement, targets for collection and misinformation. Joining me right now is one of the people that was swept up in the whole hoax, former Trump campaign foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos…

…George, I want you to start with the story of the $10,000 which we talked about so many times back in 2018 and then were slammed on social media because we talked about it back in 2017. You were in Israel and you were approached and given $10,000 in cash. Can you tell us about that?

George Papadopoulos:  Yeah. This really goes to the heart of the bombshell story that was just released last week regarding the overt collusion between the Obama administration’s CIA, the US intel agencies, and foreign allied intel services. It was a profound indictment, and it was incredibly devastating for them. And it goes exactly to the heart of this $10,000 question and various other setups. You’re absolutely right. In the summer of 2017, at a time when I’m leaving the Trump transition, I’m going back into the energy business that I was a consultant in. I’m offered $10,000 to go to Israel to basically have a project, right? A quote-unquote project. This individual named Charles Tawil presents himself as some sort of executive in the energy business and presents me with $10,000 in cash. Now, of course, as an American citizen in a foreign country, I don’t speak the language. I don’t know exactly what’s going on. What does any normal person do? They give it to their lawyer before they go back to the United States.

But what happens when I get back to the United States, Maria, I’m intercepted by about eight FBI agents. They’re all rummaging through my luggage looking for money. They don’t know what to do with me at that point, because the entire setup failed. And it really goes to the heart of how this entire scandal was not part of a spontaneous investigation the way that the mainstream media wanted you to believe. It was all predetermined, it was all fabricated, and it was all part of an entire plan by the Obama administration to subvert our democratic process…

…They’re not going to sit there and tell you to your face that we’re setting you up, but anybody can connect the dots and realise what was going on at that point. And the recent information came out that around 26 Trump officials were bumped by CIA and all of these various foreign intelligence agencies. And I started off my work in the Ben Carson campaign, and I realised that Dr. Ben Carson unfortunately, was one of these 26 individuals that was targeted by the CIA. So it made complete sense when I left Carson’s campaign and before even the Washington Post knew that I joined Trump’s campaign, that all of these assets that are now at the heart of this entire scandal were bumping into me, trying to set me up, trying to set other people up. And it really just shows you that this entire thing was fabricated from the beginning because they had two objectives in mind, Maria. They wanted to, first, spy on the Trump campaign by any means necessary, including illegally. And secondly, should Trump have won to handcuff him from actually properly governing the country. And that’s really what happened here. Once Comey failed, once Comey was fired, what did he do?

Peaceful and productive human societies depend on the maintenance of judicial principles that are consistent and impartial.

During the 12th-century reign of Henry II, the English king began to establish a more trustworthy system of legal decision making. The king’s judges were asked to consider verdicts that had been reached in similar cases.

Throughout the following centuries legal decision making was based on tradition and custom. This unified system of justice became known as “English Common Law.”

The legal principle, commonly known as “stare decisis,” discouraged dishonest plaintiffs from seeking unprecedented settlements for specious allegations against parties whom they disliked or sensed they could take advantage of.

The adoption of English common law in America made the United States particularly attractive to free, hard-working people who sought to engage in honest commerce, acquire capital, remain secure in their persons, protect their property and reputations, participate in public affairs, practice their religion, and live well-ordered lives.

When jurists feel compelled to make fair comparisons with precedent-setting cases, justice is generally well served.

Transforming American Justice

Things don’t always change for the better. 

Over several generations Marxist intellectuals have been transforming the American justice system. They regard a commitment to neutrality as a way of disguising “colonialist” and “patriarchal” power structures. Since the 1980s this has led to fierce partisan disputes over the nomination of judges and serious doubts about impartiality in American courts.

Marxism is a conflict-oriented ideology, and Marxists view liberal conceptions of freedom, democracy, and justice as instruments of “oppression.” The American left defines pro-American descendants of European colonists as “oppressors.” More recently, this status has expanded to include African American conservatives, legal Hispanic immigrants, election fraud protesters, concerned parents, practicing Catholics, Jews, or anyone else President Joe Biden chooses to call a “MAGA extremist.”

Cultural Marxists imagine victims of oppression at all levels of American society. The “oppressed” can include university-educated elites, radical militants, anti-American identity groups, drug addicts, homeless vagrants, habitual criminals, and millions of illegal migrants. “Social” as opposed to “actual” justice requires that people with victim status receive special protection while alleged oppressors are summarily prosecuted and punished.

Justice Must Be Done and Seen to Be Done

Legal scholars once insisted that “justice must not only be done, it must be seen to be done.” Everyone should be able to expect a fair trial that’s accurately covered by public news organizations.

But unbiased judges and honest reporters are in short supply. While Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is facing unprecedented indictments, journalists are still insisting that American justice is fair and impartial.

The left’s recourse to “lawfare” requires judges and journalists to conceal the truth rather than expose it. Legacy news organizations say there’s no evidence of the “weaponization of justice” or a “two-tiered” legal system. But, as specious allegations come before American courts, folks can’t help noticing that the so-called “oppressed” usually win.

For example, in 2019 American advice columnist E. Jean Carroll suddenly accused Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her in a Bergdorf Goodman department store dressing room in the mid-1990s. Mr. Trump vigorously denied the allegations, but Ms. Carroll was permitted to sue him for defamation and battery.

One could have guessed the outcome of this case before it began. The left views Donald Trump as an arch-oppressor, and E. Jean Carroll was seen as an “oppressed” victim.

In May 2023, a New York jury found the former president liable for defamation and sexual abuse and awarded E. Jean Carroll $5 million in damages. In January of this year, Mr. Trump was found liable in a second defamation suit, and Ms. Carroll was awarded an additional $83.3 million. The second award was unprecedented.

Late in January, Breitbart News reporter Hannah Bleau Knudsen revealed several facts about this case that she said the establishment media didn’t want the public to know.

First, there were no witnesses and no surveillance video of the attack, which was alleged to have occurred in a downtown New York department store.

The plaintiff came forward with her story while promoting a book titled “What Do We Need Men For?,” which featured a list of “The Most Hideous Men of My Life.” The dress she claimed to be wearing during the alleged attack was not for sale in the year she initially claimed the event occurred. Despite her public reputation for being very open about sexual matters, she didn’t accuse President Trump until some 30 years after the alleged encounter.

Her entire story was very similar to a 2012 “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” episode, titled “Theatre and Tricks,” in which an individual talks about a rape fantasy in Bergdorf Goodman. In a November 1993 edition of Elle, before the alleged abuse, Ms. Carroll had made a joke associating sex with Bergdorf Goodman.

E. Jean Carroll’s case was financially backed by anti-Trump Democrat mega-donor Reid Hoffman. One of her lawyers is Roberta Kaplan, whose wife is a Democratic Party activist. In fact, her lawsuit was only able to proceed after New York Democrats created a 2022 “Adult Survivors Act,” which allowed judges to overlook the usual statute of limitations for such charges.

Judgments in cases that are tried in partisan-charged venues such as New York City or Washington DC, have almost become forgone conclusions.

A steep decline of common law principles will not bode well for the future of the American Republic. Who would have thought that in 2024 American citizens would be witnessing a partisan special prosecutor seeking the U.S. Supreme Court’s permission to put the opposing party’s presidential candidate on trial months before a presidential election.

In closed-door testimony before the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees on February 13, Tony Bobulinski, former business associate of Hunter Biden, largely repeated what he said in his opening statement, while elaborating on his meetings with former Vice President Joe Biden in Los Angeles in 2017.

Hunter Biden had 24-7 access to his father, and used the family name and power to line his pockets, Bobulinski testified.

As well, he confirmed that Joe Biden was the “big guy” in the notorious email that laid out how the Biden Mafia and its partners would split a boatload of money from Chinese Reds.

And Biden flat-out lied when he said he knew nothing about the doings of his drug-addict son’s planetary business empire.

Democrats had a conniption.

Daddy “Picks Up the Phone”

Bobulinski — former CEO of SinoHawk Holdings and a player in another company, Oneida Holdings — said the deal with China’s CEFC energy concern should never have happened because it is a subsidiary of the Chinese Communist Party. Yet Biden “enabled it.” Bobulinski said the “process” to ink a deal with the Reds began while Biden was vice president in 2015 and continued through 2018.

CEFC “successfully sought to infiltrate and compromise Joe Biden and the Obama-Biden White House,” he testified.

On Feb. 5, 2024, several members of Congress and political experts gathered on Capitol Hill for a press conference to discuss how the World Health Organization (WHO) Pandemic Treaty threatens America.

This is how an article by Louis Knuffke at LifeSiteNews.com reported it:

• “Members of the U.S. Congress warned Monday that the proposed World Health Organization Pandemic Treaty, which would cede significant power of governance over nations to self-appointed globalists in the case of a newly declared ‘health emergency,’ looms as the greatest threat to freedom, national sovereignty, and the sanctity of life that has ever been seen in human history.”

Knuffke reported that legal experts have called this a power grab by “a small committee of elite left-wing globalists appropriating to themselves control of all basic functions of a free society.”

Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ) said the definition of a health crisis could include or potentially include the health of the planet, climate change, abortion on demand (including dismemberment, beheading, and starvation), and transgender surgeries regardless of a nation’s laws, and it is designed to silence dissent.

There is no question that America is facing one of the greatest threats it has ever faced, but there is a greater threat. That is what the Bible says God will do during the Tribulation Period when these self-appointed globalist elites are under a world government.

(Note: It troubles me that several members of Congress held a press conference on Capitol Hill to discuss a great threat to America; it will be voted on at the end of May, and I have seen very little about it in the media.)

Two, it is common knowledge that Pres. Trump is being prosecuted for allegedly mishandling government documents.

An investigation of Joe Biden for doing the same thing has just been completed, and a special council report was released on Feb. 8, 2024.

According to the report, there will be no charges against Pres. Biden because a jury would not likely convict him because of his age and lack of memory.

Some things the special council report says about an interview with Biden are:

• He could not remember when he was vice president.
• He could not remember when his term as vice president ended.
• He could not remember when his son Beau died.
• He has limited precision and recall.
• He would likely present himself to a jury as “a well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” and the jury would likely sympathize with him and rule that he did not willfully break the law.

According to a different article, the report said Biden “willfully retained his classified notebooks… stored them in his house, and he knew he was not allowed to do so.”

The world is on fire, and this man has the nuclear codes.”

(My comment: The man who will be asked to surrender the sovereignty of the U.S. at the World Health Organization meeting in late May appears to be mentally ill. He needs our prayers. America needs our prayers.)

Three, concerning all the world turning against Israel at the end of the age: on Feb. 8, 2024, Pres. Biden released a memorandum that requires every nation that receives military aid from the U.S. to send proof to the U.S. State Dept. and Congress that they are following international humanitarian and human rights laws.

As of Feb. 8, 2024, nations that are currently involved in a conflict have 45 days to respond.

If they fail to satisfactorily respond, the transfer of defense articles and services will be paused until they do.

If credible violations of international humanitarian and human rights laws are found, defense articles or services could be suspended.

The Biden administration went out of its way to brief Israel on Biden’s memorandum.

Biden appears to be trying to threaten Israel (or should I say protect Hamas), but God is on Israel’s side, and no weapon formed against Israel will succeed.

Four, concerning corruption in the UN and a corrupt world government: on Feb. 11, 2024, Israel revealed that it has found:

• A major Hamas terror center in a large tunnel (almost 2,300 ft long) under the UNRWA main headquarters in Gaza.
• An electrified data center, rows of computer servers, and living quarters in the tunnel that received electricity from the UNRWA headquarters (the UNRWA was supplying the electricity for the Hamas data center, computer servers, and living quarters).

After finding this, Israel invaded the UNRWA headquarters and found:

• Weapons, ammunition, grenades, and explosives.
• Intelligence assets and documents.
• UNRWA officials that admitted that Hamas used offices at the UNRWA headquarters.

The UNRWA commissioner general is denying having any knowledge of a Hamas terror tunnel under his headquarters, but Israel has called upon him to resign.

According to one Israeli official, the UNRWA serves as one of the arms of Hamas’ civil government in Gaza.

Five, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters at the end of the age: on Feb. 8, 2024, a tornado touched down in Wisconsin for the first time in recorded history in February.

Six, concerning the destruction of Damascus, Syria, in one night (Isa. 17): on Feb. 10, 2024, Israeli jets struck several sites on the outskirts of Damascus.

Syria’s Foreign Minister said:

• Syria is prepared to engage in conflict with Israel, emphasizing that the liberation of the occupied Golan Heights remains a top priority for Syria.
• We are ready for war against Israel, but we will decide when and how we will enter this war.

Israel has started moving troops from central Gaza to its border with Lebanon and Syria.

Some prophecy teachers have been expecting this war to break out for a long time and it has not happened, but we know it is coming, and the Syrian official said they are ready.

When it comes, Israel will use bigger bombs.

Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024 (Day 124): The sixty-ninth day of the resumed war.

• An Israeli air strike on Syrian military sites and an airbase killed and injured several civilians.
• Netanyahu criticized Pres. Biden for putting sanctions on four Jewish citizens who have been accused of violence against Palestinians. Netanyahu added, “If they were using it equally, they would have imposed sanctions on Palestinians as well.”
• A poll found that the vast majority of Israelis do not want the war to end until Hamas is defeated.
• Israel told Egypt that Hamas is smuggling weapons and supplies through 12 tunnels between Egypt and Gaza, and Hamas cannot be destroyed without destroying those tunnels. Not destroying them will allow Hamas to lay low, rebuild, and take control of Gaza again. Israel does not want to damage its peace treaty with Egypt, but Israel believes the tunnels must be destroyed.

Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024 (Day 125): The seventieth day of the resumed war.

• Biden told a group of reporters at the White House that he thinks “the conduct of the response (Israel’s attack on Hamas) in the Gaza Strip has been over the top.”
• Netanyahu told U.S. Sec. of State Blinken that Israel will continue in its goal to eradicate Hamas. Netanyahu said, “There is no other solution besides complete victory.”
• Israel used a drone to target and kill a Hezbollah commander in Lebanon.
• Hezbollah responded to the death of its commander by firing 30 rockets into Israel from Lebanon that injured three Israeli soldiers.
• Israel offered to let Yahya Sinwar leave the Gaza Strip and go into exile in exchange for the release of all the hostages.
• Israel killed the commander of Hamas’ special police force in Rafah.

Friday, Feb. 9, 2024 (Day 126): The seventy-first day of the resumed war.

• Netanyahu said Israel will evacuate civilians and enter Rafah to eliminate the last remaining members of Hamas.
• An Israeli Knesset member canceled a scheduled meeting in Washington, DC, with UN Sec. Gen. Guterres over Guterres’ controversial anti-Israel statements.

Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024 (Day 127): The seventy-second day of the resumed war.

• There were Israeli airstrikes on three homes in Rafah.
• Israel believes Hamas has four battalions of troops in Rafah.
• Netanyahu said those who oppose IDF operations in Rafah want Israel to lose the war.
• Several nations, including the U.S., Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt, have warned Israel that attacking Hamas in Rafah will lead to a disaster.
• Israel now has evidence that dozens of United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) employees were involved in the Oct. 7 Hamas-led attack on Israel (Murder, beheadings, rape, capture of hostages, etc.). Israel’s defense min. called the UNRWA “Hamas with a facelift.” He blamed nations for financing an agency that did these things. (Note: The UNRWA and its commissioner general have been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.)

Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024 (Day 128): The seventy-third day of the resumed war.

• It was reported that Egypt gave Hamas two weeks to make compromises with Israel, or Egypt will agree to let Israeli ground forces enter Rafah.
• Israel rescued two hostages that were being held in an apartment in Rafah.
• Biden advised Israel not to send troops into Rafah without a credible and executable plan to provide for the safety of citizens.
• Qatar funds an Arab media network called Al Jazeera, and Israel reported that a journalist in Al Jazeera is a Hamas commander (meaning Qatar may be involved in the Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel).
• Israel delivered supplies to a hospital in Khan Younis and found 20 Hamas terrorists hiding inside (they surrendered without firing a shot).

Monday, Feb. 12, 2024 (Day 129): The seventy-fourth day of the resumed war.

• King Abdullah II of Jordan will visit the White House today to lobby for a ceasefire in Gaza and discuss the Two-State Solution for peace in the Middle East.
• Biden said he is pushing for a six-week pause in the Israel-Hamas war as a stepping stone to a longer pause.
• Hamas is freaking out over Israel’s threat to enter Rafah, and Biden is becoming increasingly vocal over his desire for the war to end now.
• Biden warned Netanyahu not to send the Israeli military into Rafah.
• Hamas needs to control Rafah so it can control the international aid (and the Palestinian people) that is being trucked into Gaza from Egypt.
• The UN has 50 refugee camps outside Gaza in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and the West Bank that could take the Palestinians and protect them during the war, but those nations don’t want them, and the UN won’t move them. These nations, the UN, U.S., and EU keep demanding that Israel protect them.
• An official at UN Watch, a human rights organization in Switzerland, said, “Funding the UNWRA is like providing missiles to Hamas. It is fuel to keep the conflict going.”
• Israel said there will be no ceasefire that leaves Hamas in power or hostages in Gaza.
• Egypt said its peace treaty with Israel is not in jeopardy by Israel’s preparations to invade Rafah.
• Hamas claimed that eight hostages were seriously injured when Israel rescued two hostages in Rafah, and now they are saying two of the eight have died.

Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024 (Day 130): The seventy-fifth day of the resumed war.

• South Africa asked the International Court of Justice to determine if Israel’s attack on Rafah (when they rescued two hostages on Feb. 11) violated the court’s order in the genocide case they heard last month.
• France sanctioned 28 Jewish settlers for violence in the West Bank. (Note: I wonder why they don’t sanction French citizens and Muslims for violence in France.)
• According to the first ceasefire agreement, Hamas agreed to deliver medicines to hostages in exchange for more aid for Palestinians, but the two recently released hostages said they did not receive any medications.
• Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan (an Ezek. 38-39 enemy) demanded that Israel halt its war with Hamas.
• The Sec. Gen. of the Arab League warned Israel that the seizure of any land in Gaza or the West Bank that the Palestinians want for a Palestinian state would mean a confrontation for the next thousand years. (Note: God made a covenant to give all of it to Israel, but the Palestinians and Arabs want all of it for themselves.)

Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024 (Day 131): The seventy-sixth day of the resumed war.

• Hezbollah fired a flood of rockets and missiles from Lebanon into Israel that killed one person and injured eight.
• Israeli jets are retaliating.
• Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan visited Egypt to push for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.
• One hundred representatives of relatives of Israeli hostages, as well as former hostages, filed a war crime complaint against the Hamas terror group at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague. They presented 1,000 pages of evidence and are demanding the arrest of Hamas’ leaders.
• Israel has offered to set up 15 camps with 25,000 tents in each camp that would be paid for by the U.S., Egypt, Jordan, and the UAE and give the Palestinians a place to go to while Israel attacks Hamas in Rafah.

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

I would even go so far as to argue that RFK, Jr.’s new book is the most important Covid chronicle to date, although it ends at the beginning of 2020, before most of us were even aware that a “novel coronavirus” was circulating among us. 

The book explains the CAUSES of the global disaster, which all happened before March 2020. Everything after that are the downstream EFFECTS of what The Wuhan Cover-Up exposes.

Putting Covid in the Biowarfare Context

Interestingly, in the publicity blurb on the book and in interviews about it, RFK, Jr. focuses on “the etiology of the gain-of-function research” and everything that led up to a virus being engineered in a US-funded lab in Wuhan by a group of Chinese and Western scientists.

At the core of this story is RFK, Jr.’s desire to warn readers about the dangers of gain-of-function research, which he shows in the book to be irrefutably a biowarfare – not a public health – endeavor.

But in the process of constructing the argument and supplying the proof for his dire warning, and for his assertion that this type of research should be stopped immediately and forever, RFK, Jr. provides what I find to be an even more compelling story.

Musk agrees Ukraine conflict is ‘war of lies’ — RT World News

The tech mogul has apparently concurred with entrepreneur David Sacks that people are being told Kiev “is winning when in fact it is losing”

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has seemingly agreed with American investor David Sacks, who believes that the Ukraine

conflict will end in a heavy defeat for Kiev, but that the West will try to spin the narrative in a way to sweep the truth under the rug.

On Sunday, Sacks published a post on X (formerly Twitter) entitled “A war of lies,” arguing that the Ukraine conflict is based on falsehoods and deceit about “how it started, how it’s going, and how it will end.”

The entrepreneur stated that citizens of Western countries are being told that “Ukraine is winning when in fact it is losing” while being lied to that Kiev’s main problem is a lack of US funding, while in reality it is the “fact the West can’t produce enough ammunition.”

According to Sacks, the deceit does not end there. “We are told that there is no opportunity to make peace when in fact we have rejected multiple opportunities for a negotiated settlement,” he said. He added that Western leaders are also lying by insisting that the longer Kiev fights, the better terms it will get, when in fact the opposite is true.

Those distortions are prolonging the conflict, which will result in Ukraine trying to mobilize more people to be fed into the “meat grinder,” leading to surging public discontent and the collapse of the Ukrainian government, the businessman predicted.

“When the war is finally lost, when the whole country lays in smoldering ruins on a funeral pyre of their own making, the liars will say: “Well we tried.”

Even then, Sacks concluded, those who lied about Ukraine would blame their misfortunes on a pro-Russian “fifth column… who stabbed the Ukrainians in the back.”

Responding to the lengthy article, Musk appeared to agree, calling it “accurate.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Moscow and Kiev were close to settling the conflict in the spring of 2022, with Ukraine’s neutrality being one of the main items on the agenda. However, according to the Kremlin, the process was derailed by then UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who convinced Kiev to keep fighting. The Russian leadership has said the door remains open to engagement with Ukraine.
