April 5 – Why Did Josiah Tear His Clothes? | VCY

TODAY’S BIBLE READING CHALLENGE:
  Deuteronomy 28:1-68
  Luke 11:14-36
  Psalm 77:1-20
  Proverbs 12:18

Deuteronomy 28:15 — If the incentives from verses 1-14 aren’t enough to motivate you, then pay attention!

Deuteronomy 28:36 — Fulfilled in Daniel 5:4.

Deuteronomy 28:52 — Fulfilled in Jeremiah 39:8.

Deuteronomy 28:53-55 — Prophesied in Jeremiah 19:9; Lamentations 2:20, 4:10; Ezekiel 5:10; and fulfilled in 2 Kings 6:28-29.

This is a poignant chapter for the King to copy when he makes his copy of the Law (Deuteronomy 17:18). No wonder Josiah tore his robes and recognized the anger of the Lord (2 Kings 22:11-13). No wonder the people wept in Nehemiah 8:9 when they read it!

Luke 11:31 — The Queen of Sheba traveled 1,400 miles to see Solomon, yet the people were there with Jesus and did not believe.

Luke 11:32 — Jonah was a pretty poor excuse for a prophet, yet it didn’t take great preaching to get Ninevah to repent.

Psalm 77:10-11 — We see more synonymous parallelism. Oftentimes, the key thought is in the center of the psalm. In these verses we see “remember” three times.

Proverbs 12:18 — This is the 5th of 19 times the tongue is mentioned in Proverbs.

The Tower of Psychobabel – Pastor Patrick Hines Podcast – YouTube

Romans 3:19-31
New American Standard Bible
19 Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; 20 because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.
21 But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in God’s merciful restraint He let the sins previously committed go unpunished; 26 for the demonstration, that is, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

27 Where then is boasting? It has been excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. 28 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from works of the Law. 29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, 30 since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one.

31 Do we then nullify the Law through faith? Far from it! On the contrary, we establish the Law.

Severe weather outbreak and tornado threats target parts of Ohio Valley and South: Live updates
Storms Bring Large Hail To Parts Of Texas. Widespread thunderstorms were rolling across the central US and heading east on Tuesday bringing tennis ball-sized hail, pounding rain, dangerous winds and possible tornadoes to at least 75 million people. More than three millions residents in Tennessee were under a tornado watch on Tuesday afternoon, in the Nashville area, with potential for twisters from southeast Virginia to northeast South Carolina.

Tennessee Lawmakers Pass Bill Targeting mRNA Vaccines In Food
The bill comes in response to a University of California-Riverside research project looking into whether mRNA which targets pathogens could be implanted into edible plants, which would then be consumed. The research was funded by a $500,000 grant from the National Science Foundation. “You would have to get a prescription for that to make sure that we know how much of the lettuce you have to eat based off of your body type so we don’t under-vaccinate you, which leads to the possibility of the efficacy of the drug being compromised, or we overdose you based off how much lettuce is [eaten],” said Republican state Rep. Scott Cepicky during a House committee meeting in February, WKRN-TV reports.

Attempted Suicide Rates More Than Double After Gender-Reassignment Surgery: Study
Rates of attempted suicide who identified as transgender more than doubled after receiving a vaginoplasty … according to a peer-reviewed study published in The Journal of Urology. The study looked at rates of psychiatric emergencies both before and after gender-altering surgery among 869 males who went under the knife, and 357 females who underwent phalloplasty in California between 2012 and 2018.

Pulpit Problems: 41% Of Churchgoers Find No Biblical Problem With Homosexual ‘Marriages’
Now this is very deflating that 41% of regular churchgoers do not have any biblical problems with homosexual “marriages.” Of course, to me, that is the root cause of this trend in churches, the lack of knowledge and the lack of teaching on biblical authority (which the authors of the article hint at but never actually state). In many churches, the Bible is simply taught as a book of good morals, or even worse, as positive reinforcement for not being “judgmental.”

Israel’s killing of Zahedi: Taking the fight to the Iranian head of the octopus
The Wall Street Journal termed the killing of Zahedi “the first real price” that Iran has paid “for its proxy warfare in the Middle East.” “The Iranians don’t love dying, but it is very easy for them to send others to die,” then education minister Naftali Bennett said at the Herzliya conference in 2018. “While we’re shedding blood fighting their tentacles, the octopus’s head is lounging in its chair enjoying itself,” Bennett continued. The time had come, he declared, for Israel “to aim at the head of the octopus and not its tentacles.”

‘Iran will not respond’: Middle East experts, dissidents comment on Damascus strike
An alleged Israeli airstrike on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus Monday night resulted in the killing of a number of Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Quds Force generals, and it is considered one of the biggest strikes against these two Iranian organizations after the killing of Qassem Soleimani—the commander of the Iranian Quds Force—in a US airstrike in Baghdad in January 2020.

The Hamas terrorist organization has lost its capacity to operate as a military fighting force in most of the Gaza Strip, Israel’s defense chief said Tuesday, while warning that the group remains a viable force inside the border city of Rafah.

The Iranian regime is an existential threat to America

Biden is a ‘much worse threat to democracy’ than Trump, RFK says

Prof. Eyal Zisser: ‘We cannot be complacent after attack in Damascus’
Middle Eastern expert Prof. Eyal Zisser, from Tel Aviv University, estimates that the assassination of the senior IRGC officer Mohammad Reza Zahedi in Syria will not lead Hezbollah to intensify the attacks against Israel on the Lebanon border. “In my opinion, Hezbollah has no interest in dragging Lebanon into a full-scale war, because it was Iran who was attacked in Syria. It has no way to explain that to the Lebanese. On the other hand, we need to be prepared and ready, as developments can happen at any moment,”

Google agrees to destroy browsing data collected in Incognito mode
The proposed settlement in Brown v. Google will also mandate greater disclosure from the company about how it collects information in Incognito mode and put limits on future data collection. If approved by a California federal judge, the settlement could apply to 136 million Google users. The 2020 lawsuit was brought by Google account holders who accused the company of illegally tracking their behavior through the private browsing feature.

Iran Threatens To Avenge Assassinated Generals
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed that seven officers, including brigadier generals Mohammad Reza Zahedi and Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi, were killed in the airstrike on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus on Monday. Iran has already vowed that it will take “countermeasures” against the United States and Israel over the recent deadly airstrike in Syria. Officials in Syria and Iran have blamed Israel for the attack, thereby also blaming the U.S. ruling class. Tehran is warning of a “serious response,” and the powerful Iran-backed Lebanese militant group Hezbollah said that the strike will be met with “punishment and revenge.” Iran also said it would hold the United States “answerable” due to its support of Israel. This attack has escalated regional tensions over the war in Gaza and has once again appeared to raise the risk of a broader Middle Eastern conflict. This could quickly spiral out of control, so be prepared for the advancement of war.

Mass Layoffs Begin At California Fast Food Chains As $20 Minimum Wage Law Takes Effect
This result shouldn’t surprise anyone.  Inflation has driven up operational costs for businesses across the US and shrunk profit margins for major food chains in the past few years.  This has led to higher menu prices (like the “$18 Big Mac”) and slowing sales for every major fast food company.  Another anchor dragging on the restaurant business in many regions was at least two years of covid stimulus coupled with rent moratoriums, creating aggressive labor shortages and raising wages in upwards of $16 per hour for brand new no-skill employees.

Ukrainian Drones Hit Russia’s Third-Largest Oil Refinery, Prompting White House Anger
…US equity futures are dipping lower as bond yields in the US continue to move higher as crude continues to surge and is up another 2% on growing fears of middle-eastern escalation after a senior Iranian commander was killed by an Israeli airstrike in Syria yesterday, with Iran immediately vowing revenge, and as Ukraine once again struck oil infrastructure targets deep inside Russia, overnight hitting Russia’s 3rd largest refinery, ~800 miles from the front lines.

What Happened The Last Time Two Eclipses Formed A Giant “X” Over The New Madrid Fault Zone?
Could it be possible that history is about to repeat itself?  On April 8th, the Great American Eclipse of 2024 will complete the giant “X” over America that the Great American Eclipse of 2017 started…But what is not widely known is that we have seen this same pattern before.  In 1811, a solar eclipse finished the giant “X” over the heartland of America that a solar eclipse in 1806 had started…Approximately three months after the giant “X” over America was completed, cataclysmic earthquakes began erupting along the New Madrid fault.

Climate alarmists are warned that banks won’t play their part in “net zero” commitments

UN Aid Funds Terrorists and Tyrants
At the urging of the United Nations, aid is being sent to Gaza, where it will be received and distributed by Hamas, the authority in Gaza. Designated as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO) by the U.S. government in 1997, Hamas imposes taxes on all imports and exports, including aid, which has contributed to Gaza’s initial poverty. Now, with the humanitarian crisis caused by Hamas’s October 7th attack on Israel, the United Nations and the global community are providing funding to Hamas.

FEATURED ANALYSIS

J.K. Rowling and the Prisoner of the Cult of Trans

The Harry Potter author created Dolores Umbridge as a fictional tyrant. Scotland seems to think of Umbridge as a role model.

Nate Jackson

Scottish police will not arrest author J.K. Rowling after she posted a series of tweets in which she was “DELIBERATELY DEFIANT” of Scotland’s new Hate Crime Act. Not ironically, the act took effect on April Fools’ Day and criminalizes “misgendering” an individual as being what it calls “stirring up hatred.” Rowling not being arrested is great news, but the Edinburgh resident must feel as though she’s stuck in her fictional world of dark magic and petty tyrants.

As the BBC reports the kerfuffle, “The Harry Potter author described several transgender women as men.” No, she used pronouns that correspond with the individuals’ sex rather than their “identity.”

In 11 posts, Rowling used her acerbic wit to mock the idea that various men are actually women, concluding, “I’m currently out of the country, but if what I’ve written here qualifies as an offence under the terms of the new act, I look forward to being arrested when I return to the birthplace of the Scottish Enlightenment.” For good measure, she repeatedly used the hashtag #ArrestMe.

For the last several years, Rowling has repeatedly criticized the “transgender” movement’s push to erase women by declaring that men can be women. That is not, she rightly insists, the kind of empowerment women ought to be cheering. For her truthful stand, she has been called all manner of awful things. There’s even an entire section of her Wikipedia page dedicated to how she has “provoked controversy” on the subject by, you know, adhering to scientific reality.

Here’s a friendly reminder that Rowling didn’t start the fight. Neither did any conservative or any other person who believed what humanity has collectively known for all of history — that there are two distinct sexes and that a person cannot change genders. No, the people who “provoked controversy” are the ones denying reality and demanding the rest of us do the same.

Rowling is a well-equipped protagonist to combat the gender-confusion cult. She’s a Christian but not a conservative. She’s a feminist of the old sort, invested in empowering women without obliterating the distinctions between genders. She’s wealthy enough to withstand cancel culture, fight back against lawfare, and pay for her own security in the face of death threats. Plus, she wrote engaging fictional stories full of characters just like the government busybodies who enforce speech codes like the one passed in Scotland.

In the fifth book of that series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Rowling introduces Dolores Umbridge, a truly well-written and awful villain. Umbridge hails from the fictional Ministry of Magic, and her bureaucratic job at the wizarding school of Hogwarts is to introduce and enforce various Educational Decrees. These diktats empowered the government at the expense of students and faculty, often requiring that everyone submit to a number of fictions. Among other things, she banned a non-mainstream media magazine, prohibited things like music and broom riding, confiscated wands (i.e., gun control), and, most saliently here, forbade anyone from saying the truth — that the evil wizard Voldemort is alive and active. She then punished students, often cruelly, for any and all infractions. Pictured at the top of this article is the moment in the film where she forced Harry Potter, who told the truth, to write “I must not tell lies” with a pen that magically and painfully etches the words onto the back of his hand.

In other words, the pink-bedecked Umbridge was the perfect embodiment of the intolerant, fact-checking, hate-speech-enforcing Rainbow Mafia.

It’s a testament to the power of fiction that no one roots for Umbridge. In fact, reading the books or watching the movies elicits anger and outrage at her clear villainy. (Don’t miss the harrowing account of my family’s encounter with “Umbridge” at Universal Studios during the days of tyrannical mask enforcement. By the way, Universal abandoned that policy shortly after my article, so I claim full credit.)

You may be thinking, Jackson, why have you written about the trans cult MondayTuesday, and now today? The answer is simple: The Rainbow Mafia is essentially what Rowling in Harry Potter called an “Inquisitorial Squad,” whose purpose is to silence and punish dissent from the new narrative.

Speech codes like the one that just became law in Scotland may be coming to America. They already exist on Facebook and other social media platforms, squelching conservative speech as “hate,” “bigotry,” or “misinformation.” By the way, this speech is, more often than not, true. As Rowling once noted, “It isn’t hate to speak the truth.”

Suppressing speech has real consequences in elections because some voters never hear dissent from the mainstream media’s narrative and, in their uninformed state, vote for crooks like Joe Biden.

It’s not just speech. The Rainbow Mafia undermines the family, which is the foundation of society. If a family is no longer one man married to one woman with children, and if people no longer even know what a woman is, society suffers greatly and may eventually collapse.

In the Harry Potter series, Voldemort nearly wins because so many people believe or enforce lies that hinder the good guys. Ultimately, Potter defeats Voldemort because he stands for the truth in love. Back here in real life, Rowling forced Scottish authorities to stand down, though that may be easier for a wealthy, famous woman than a regular Joanne. Even so, here’s hoping that she and others like her will help liberate us from the tyranny of the dark wizards of Rainbow World.

RFK speaks an inconvenient truth, Biden owns the border crisis, China Joe checks in with Comrade Xi, and more.

Douglas Andrews, Thomas Gallatin, & Jordan Candler

Cross-Examination

  • RFK speaks an inconvenient truth about threats to democracy: We’ll say this about the Democrats’ freakout over Robert F. Kennedy Jr.‘s presidential candidacy: It’s not irrational. Anyone who considers Kennedy’s magnetic appeal to young people alongside Joe Biden’s diametric repellence of that same voting bloc can see the threat this poses to the Democrats’ tenuous hold on power. Yesterday, Democrat strategists got another dose of the Kennedy castor oil when he observed that Biden “has done something that no other president in history has done, which is to order media — particularly social media, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google — to censor his political opponents.” For young people and other likely low-information voters — those who might not fully appreciate the importance of free speech or understand the implications of Biden’s actions — Kennedy elaborated: “If you have a president who can censor his political opponents, he is the license for any kind of atrocity, that is a genuine threat to our democracy. What Trump said about … questioning the election and … to the extent that he engaged … in an effort to overthrow that, of course, that’s a threat to democracy, but it is not the worst threat undermining the First Amendment of our Constitution and then weaponizing the federal agencies, to get his opponents off the ballot.” For good measure, RFKJ said the same thing on CNN. To be sure, Kennedy has a well-earned reputation for left-wing fringiness, and we disagree vehemently with his characterization of Trump’s constitutional right to question the legitimacy of the 2020 election, especially given that a heretofore incomprehensible 43% of all votes were cast by fraud-friendly mail, but we appreciate his clear-headed assessment of the threats posed by Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats. Columnist David Harsanyi agrees, noting that Biden’s efforts to co-opt the private sector might reasonably be seen as “semi-fascist,” adding, “The biggest threat to ‘democracy’ — if by democracy we still mean the Constitution — is when the powerful ignore limits of the state with impunity.”
  • Biden owns the border crisis: During the push for a bad immigration bill that failed to pass Congress, Joe Biden claimed it would “give me as president the emergency authority to shut down the border until it could get back under control” and that he’d “shut down the border right now and fix it quickly.” That claim was disingenuous on two fronts. First and foremost, Biden could have acted to enforce existing law and shut down the border. Second, his entire policy has been one of maintaining an open border. That reality was recently reiterated by Biden’s campaign manager, Julie Chávez Rodríguez. “The president doesn’t talk about shutting down the border [and is] not advocating for shutting down the border,” she stated. “What people want to see is order and humanity in our immigration system.” Not according to repeated polling. Upwards of 70% of Americans disapprove of Biden’s handling of the border. The vast majority favor legal immigration but, at the same time, oppose illegal immigration. That distinction matters, which is why the Leftmedia and the Biden administration intentionally blur the line.
  • China Joe checks in with Comrade Xi: “Candid and constructive.” That’s how national security spokesmouth John Kirby characterized a Tuesday morning phone call from Joe Biden to his Communist Chinese benefactor Xi Jinping. It was apparently the first time the two had spoken since Xi’s visit to San Francisco some five months ago. As The New York Times reports, the call “was aimed at addressing a variety of combative and cooperative issues, as the United States grapples with wars and other global crises.” “Grapples with” is one way to put it. Other, more accurate ways would include “fumbles” and “botches” and “is overwhelmed by.” In any case, these “cooperative issues” ostensibly included “fighting narcotics production,” but that’s simply a euphemism for China’s ongoing efforts to poison Americans by producing and shipping deadly fentanyl to Mexico, whereupon the cartels take it across our porous southern border. Other topics of the “check-in” included Israel’s war with Hamas, North Korea’s nukes, China’s support of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the ChiComs’ continued menacing of Taiwan and other of its neighbors, climate change, Artificial Intelligence, and the red regime’s unfair trade practices. As Xi apparently told Biden, the two countries should focus on “no clash, no confrontation” for the year ahead. As for the American president, we’re sure he vigorously represented our national interests and that he gave Xi a much-needed earful on all these matters.
  • Punishing pro-lifers: The Biden administration has targeted pro-life advocates while at the same time effectively turning a blind eye to the crimes committed by pro-abortion activists against pro-life centers and churches. The latest example comes courtesy of the federal prosecution and conviction of four pro-life advocates who peacefully protested at an abortion clinic in Nashville, Tennessee. These four were charged with violating the dubious FACE Act despite the fact that they did not block anyone’s access to the clinic. They now face a sentence of up to a year in prison and thousands of dollars in fines. DOJ prosecutor Brian Boynton claimed that the four were “not on trial for their beliefs.” However, the Biden administration’s repeated actions belie that claim. In January, the DOJ successfully prosecuted six other pro-life advocates for violating the FACE Act. They all face up to 10 years in prison.
  • Leftist organizations are demonetizing conservatives: If Republicans are going to win the war of ideas between now and the November 5 elections, they’re going to have to do it with one hand tied behind their backs. That’s because an influential trade group has apparently been preventing major advertisers from doing business with news outlets that occasionally depart from the approved “progressive” narrative. The effect, then, is a demonetization of conservative platforms and voices. As The Daily Wire reports, the House Judiciary Committee has documents from the World Federation of Advertisers that show how it implemented, through its Global Alliance for Responsible Media, “a strategy to prevent major advertisers from doing business with disfavored news outlets. The coordinated effort could have the effect of bankrupting news organizations that don’t get the stamp of approval.” In a March 27 letter to advertisers sent by Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, he said that these speech-suppressing leftists might be running afoul of U.S. antitrust laws, and he demanded that the affected advertisers cough up some additional documentation. We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: None of this oversight happens without the GOP’s control of the House.
  • Facebook and Netflix make you the product: Previously sealed records from the antitrust lawsuit filed last year against Meta, the parent company of Facebook, by two private citizens have recently been unsealed. According to those records, Facebook collaborated with Netflix to allow the video-streaming company to gain access to users’ private message inboxes. Netflix would then give Facebook “a written report every two weeks that shows daily counts of recommendations, sends, and recipient clicks by interface, initiation surface, and/or implementation variant.” In other words, Facebook gave Netflix all users’ private Messenger chats, and Netflix gave Facebook all account holders’ watch history. So, these two Big Tech corporations were sharing private data without the users’ knowledge. The motive was that each company could cater its ads more effectively.
  • Wisconsin governor celebrates destroying women’s sports: “I just vetoed Republicans’ anti-LGBTQ bill to ban trans and gender nonconforming kids from participating in school sports teams that align with their gender identity.” So boasted Wisconsin’s out-of-touch Democrat governor, Tony Evers, who added a straw man for good measure: “LGBTQ kids deserve our love and respect and support just like any other kid.” At issue here is a bill that was passed by the Republican-controlled state legislature, which would’ve banned high school “transgender” males from competing in girls’ sports simply because they “identify” as female. As the suddenly aptly named WBOY reports: “Evers had promised to veto the bill ever since it was introduced. Democrats did not have the votes to stop its passage in the Legislature. He vetoed it in the Capitol surrounded by Democratic lawmakers, transgender advocates, the mayor of Madison and others.” In other words, he celebrated the bullying of girls at the hands of boys and the destruction of girls’ athletics. What a sicko. We, of course, agree that these troubled kids, these “transgenders,” deserve our “love and respect,” but they deserve our wisdom and our protection more than they need our potentially life-altering “support.” And what about our athletic daughters? Don’t they merit our “love and respect”?
  • Your ESG score: Last we checked, America is not China. However, some very Chinese-like things have been transpiring in the U.S. that should be of concern to everyone. Many folks are aware that Beijing keeps a social credit score on all its citizens. This allows the government to assert greater control over everyone’s lives. In America, the Land of the Free, the expectation is that we are free of any kind of social credit system. However, as Big Tech’s censorship police have repeatedly demonstrated, we are not as free to express our views as the Constitution says we should be. It’s even worse than merely censorship by Big Tech, as a form of a social credit system is springing up within the U.S., and it’s based upon the leftist ESG values system. An industry has developed that analyzes an individual’s purchase history in order to establish his or her personal carbon footprint. Based on these ESG scores, banks and other financial institutions can then take this data to determine whether or not they are willing to do business with an individual. James Lindsay observes, “Personal ESG scores are a social credit system of tyranny based on ESG fraud and arbitrary power.” The point is to force Americans into accepting and abiding by the Left’s new neo-Marxist values system.

What’s Behind Havana Syndrome?

The evidence is mounting that Russian agents are injuring American officials both here and abroad with powerful directed-energy weapons.

Douglas Andrews

“And bam, inside my right ear, it was like a dentist drilling on steroids. That feeling when it gets too close to your eardrum? It’s like that, you know, times 10. It was like a high-pitched, metallic drilling noise, and it knocked me forward. … It didn’t knock me over, but it knocked me forward. I immediately felt pressure, and pressure and pain started coursing from inside my right ear, down my jaw, down my neck, and into my chest.”

So said an FBI counterintelligence agent known as “Carrie,” whose real name is being protected because she’s still working for the bureau. She experienced this event in 2021 at her home in Florida. She said it made the battery in her cellphone swell until it cracked the phone’s case. She also says she complained to her colleagues for months afterward that it felt like she had memory loss and confusion. “My baseline changed,” she says. “I was not the same person.”

Another American, this one anonymous, likened the sensation to poking a Q-tip or even a sharp pencil on your eardrum. He’s medically retired from an unnamed U.S. agency. He’s also blind in one eye and struggles with his balance.

Still another U.S. citizen, the 40-year-old wife of a DOJ official who was stationed at our embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia, formerly a part of the Soviet Union, described it this way: “As I’m reaching into the dryer, I am completely consumed by a piercing sound that I can only describe as when you listen to a movie and the main character is also consumed by the sound after a bomb goes off. … And it just pierced my ears, came in my left side, felt like it came through the window, into my left ear. I immediately felt fullness in my head, and just a piercing headache. And when I realized that I needed to get out of the laundry room, I left the room, and went into our bedroom next door, and projectile-vomited in our bathroom.”

As “60 Minutes” reports: “She was medically evacuated. And now doctors say she has holes in her inner ear canals — the vestibular system that creates the sense of balance. Two surgeries put metal plates in her skull. Another surgery is likely.” It’s a debilitating injury she describes as “devastating.”

These are just three accounts out of more than 100 of what’s now known as “Havana Syndrome,” an illness whose name is taken from the place where a grouping of these injuries was first reported — at our nation’s embassy in the Cuban capital in 2016.

We have our issues with the sort of sensationalism and left-wing muckraking that CBS News and its “60 Minutes” team have become known for over the decades, but this story, which aired last Sunday and is the latest of four stories they’ve done on the topic, seems different.

The “60 Minutes” investigation was joined by the German Der Spiegel and The Insider, and it linked the attacks to a special Russian unit called GRU 29155. As The Washington Free Beacon notes: “The investigation placed suspected Russian agents in the same locations as U.S. officials when they began experiencing symptoms. Journalist Christo Grozev of The Insider also uncovered a Russian document showing a Unit 29155 officer performed work focused on ‘potential capabilities of non-lethal acoustic weapons,’ a discovery Grozev called the ‘closest to a receipt you can have for this.’”

U.S. intelligence says, at least publicly, that there’s no credible evidence that one of our geopolitical foes is inflicting brain injuries on our national security officials. That’s according to an unclassified 2023 assessment. And yet there are more than 100 Americans who have symptoms that scientists say could’ve been inflicted by a directed beam or microwave weapon, also known as a non-lethal acoustic weapon.

However, as The Insider also reports, two of the agencies that ought to be in the best position to determine whether an adversary is involved — the Defense Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency — are highly skeptical of the above-mentioned assessment.

As Greg Edgreen, who ran the U.S. military’s investigation into these attacks, put it, “If my mother had seen what I saw, she’d say, ‘It’s the Russians, stupid.’”

But why, then, is our government unwilling to acknowledge what seems all too obvious? Because, he says, it would bring up some really uncomfortable questions: “Can we secure America? Are these massive counterintelligence failures? Can we protect American soil and our people on American soil? Are we being attacked? And if we’re being attacked, is that an act of war?”

These are questions that the feckless Biden administration might not want to answer but that a tougher, more credible future administration might be willing to address.

Good News: Gen Z Takes Up Trades

A new survey shows that an increasing number of Gen Z high schoolers are looking at trade schools rather than college.

Thomas Gallatin

For many, there is nothing quite as satisfying as becoming a skilled master of a tradecraft. Be it plumbing, electrical, or myriad other hands-on trade professions, what can be better than combining one’s physical abilities with technical know-how and building or fixing something — and getting paid well for it?

It’s certainly better than going to college or university without any clear direction and ending up with a major that won’t guarantee a good-paying job to pay off that mountain of loan debt you accrued over the previous four years. (Well, as long as Uncle Joe didn’t transfer that loan balance to taxpayers.)

This appears to be a growing perspective among Gen Zers, who are ditching college in favor of the skilled trades.

A recent Wall Street Journal article notes the shift: “Enrollment in vocational training programs is surging as overall enrollment in community colleges and four-year institutions has fallen. The number of students enrolled in vocational-focused community colleges rose 16% last year to its highest level since the National Student Clearinghouse began tracking such data in 2018. The ranks of students studying construction trades rose 23% during that time, while those in programs covering HVAC and vehicle maintenance and repair increased 7%.”

So, what’s driving this change in Gen Z? Well, to put it bluntly, the free market.

Demand for skilled tradesmen has raised the industry’s earning power. The median pay for new construction workers increased 5.1% last year alone to $48,089. In contrast, the median pay for professional services rose just 2.7% in 2022, for an annual wage of $39,520. And this is a four-year trend.

According to a survey conducted by Jobber on high school- and college-age individuals, a whopping 75% said they were interested in vocational schools. Meanwhile, 80% of those surveyed noted that their parents wanted them to go to college.

The key to long-term success in any career is enjoyment. While financial incentives are an important consideration, doing something that inspires or invigorates tends to be much more fulfilling.

That Gen Zers are increasingly opting for the skilled trades is also good news for the nation, which has been facing a considerable labor shortage due to Boomer retirements. This is also welcome news to Mike Rowe of “Dirty Jobs,” who has long warned of the skilled labor shortage and has championed these careers. Last August, Rowe observed that the new trend was “encouraging, but this is a long, slow burn.” He added: “It’s going to take a long time to undo the damage we caused when we took shop class out of high schools. It’s stigmas, it’s stereotypes, it’s misperceptions. They’re slowly starting to erode, but we just have to keep pushing it.”

Another factor in Gen Z’s thinking about higher education is the emergence of Artificial Intelligence. Jobber CEO Sam Pillar notes, “Gen Z is hyper-aware of the impact AI is having and will continue to have on their career prospects, and are concerned about roles being eliminated by automation.”

This is genuinely good and hopeful news, and it reinforces the reality that a free market creates the incentives that allow an economy to continually adapt and flourish.

Impeachment Follies

America does not need another impeachment drama right now — it’s the job of the electorate, not Congress, to evict Joe Biden from the White House.

Jack DeVine

With the November presidential election just seven months away, it seems unlikely that the House impeachment inquiry will produce articles for impeachment of President Joe Biden. In an interview last week, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer hinted about the possibility of referral to DOJ of recommendations for criminal prosecution (probably to be ignored there by Attorney General Merrick Garland), and quite possibly nothing more.

That’s weak sauce for many Republicans who felt (and no doubt still do) that there is a solid case to be made for impeachment of the president, but it probably will not come to that, for several reasons — not the least of which is the razor-thin House majority held by a disunified GOP.

Unable to contain his snarky glee, Democrat Jamie Raskin raced to the microphones and proclaimed the Republican inquiry to be “the most spectacular failure in the history of Congressional investigation.”

Really? One might have thought that the intent of an inquiry is to inquire, not to rubber-stamp a predetermined fact-free political conclusion, though that is standard practice in today’s hyper-partisan Congress.

The simple fact that impeachment’s only penalty is removal from office is reason enough not to invoke that process when the official in question is seeking reelection in an imminent contest. Rather than enabling a body of politicians (i.e., political opponents of the person being impeached) to remove him or her from office, it is clearly preferable — and far more democratic — to let the electorate do that via the ballot box.

And whether or not it leads to impeachment, the case against Biden that has emerged from months of evidence gathering is quite clear. Basically, it is one of highly improper influence peddling, in which Biden family members have raked in tens of millions during Biden’s decades as senator, vice president, and president from questionable business dealings with foreign entities, including known adversaries of the U.S.

The defense offered by Biden apologists has evolved steadily from repeated assertions that he had zero knowledge of his son’s and siblings’ business ventures to the explanation that his involvement was incidental and casual — the occasional courtesy handshake here and there with absolutely no business engagement — to today’s insistence that there is “not one shred” of evidence that Joe Biden, “the big guy” mentioned in email correspondence, ever benefited personally from any of his family offshore business transactions.

Well, there are a few shreds, weighty ones, including bank records obtained by Comer’s committee tracking over $20 million from foreign entities — Romania, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Russia — delivered to bank accounts held by various Biden family members, and some subsequent transfers to Joe Biden by personal check (recorded as loan repayments).

While that is hard evidence, it is circumstantial. But a commonsense interpretation is that if your or my immediate family — siblings, sons, daughters — were somehow enriched to the tune of tens of millions of dollars, we’d know about it (“hey, nice yacht!”), and if we didn’t know where the money came from, we’d find out. Joe and Hunter Biden spent long hours traveling together to and from China on Air Force Two; it’s reasonable to assume that their conversations went well beyond golf and the weather. When one member of a close-knit family is enriched, all are.

Just as importantly, the necessity that persons in corporate or government executive positions avoid conflicts of interest is crystal clear. Any time one’s actions as an elected official has direct financial consequences on a loved one, that person will find it difficult — if not impossible — to act objectively. Surely that was the case when Vice President Biden was assigned point responsibility for U.S. interaction with Ukraine and his son was a highly paid employee of a notoriously corrupt Ukrainian energy firm.

The reality is inescapable — there is solid evidence that over the years, Joe Biden took advantage of his senior positions within the U.S. government by allowing his family to market real or imagined access to him, reaping mountains of cash. Whether Biden championed this practice or simply permitted it is irrelevant — it’s both unethical and a significant threat to our national security. Surely, he knows that.

While Biden’s misconduct would seem to meet the Founders’ definition of “high crimes and misdemeanors,” pursuing an impeachment during the last months of his term as president would serve no purpose other than a political one.

We learned a few years ago what impeachment should not be, including the ultimate absurdity of staging a Senate impeachment trial to boot from office a president who was no longer holding that office. With all the challenges facing our nation right now, the last thing we need is to be dragged through another pointless political impeachment.

Moreover, kicking Joe Biden out of the White House is not the job of Congress right now — it’s the job of the American electorate.

The Big Picture

The purpose of Biden’s “Transgender Day of Visibility” proclamation is to increase the number of children who experience gender dysphoria.

Gary Bauer

The understandable controversy regarding Joe Biden’s smear of Easter Sunday was the timing of his “Transgender Day of Visibility” proclamation, which he released on Good Friday. But, by itself, that misses the main point.

What did Biden’s proclamation actually say? It was two pages long and more than 630 words. The content of that proclamation is a good marker of what Biden’s agenda is and what a second term would look like.

It is clear that the purpose of the proclamation is not to provide aid and comfort to individuals, and particularly children, who are suffering from gender dysphoria. Its purpose is to increase the number of children who experience gender dysphoria by literally encouraging it.

Transgender individuals are not suffering from a biological disease. They are suffering from a mental disorder, even if so-called “medical professionals” refuse to admit it.

If a president issued a statement on World Schizophrenia Awareness Day, it would not begin by honoring the “extraordinary courage” of schizophrenics. Nor would it declare that they “help America thrive.” That would make no sense. They are suffering from a disease.

Let’s say a president issues a proclamation that says we should love children confused about their gender. One might wonder why that particular group of suffering people was being singled out, but you could do that in a paragraph or two, just like Biden’s Easter statement.

The reason Joe Biden took two pages for his “Transgender Day” proclamation is because he professed his total support for the ideological agenda of this fringe movement.

He also expressed his disdain for anyone who disagrees with him. There was more language in the statement hating on parents and normalcy than there was loving on trans kids.

For example, the president of the United States took a shot at parents who don’t want their young children exposed to confusing ideas about choosing their gender and the rest of the LGBTQ agenda. That’s most Americans. But Joe Biden claimed they were “banning books.”

He said that laws protecting girls’ sports and protecting children from mutilating surgeries were “hateful,” “terrifying,” and “un-American.”

Biden again endorsed the misnamed “Equality Act” in this proclamation. This legislation seeks to elevate transgenderism as a protected civil rights class equal to race and religion.

If a school didn’t allow black athletes to play on an all-white team, there is a moral and legal consensus in America that such bigotry is wrong, and the school would lose its federal funds.

But in Biden’s statement issued on Good Friday, he indicated that he would punish any school that refused to allow a 180-pound boy to play on the girls’ basketball team and shower with the girls. In Biden’s opinion, any school or community against that is in the throes of bigotry and no different from racists.

That’s what Joe Biden wanted us to celebrate on Easter.

Why Are They Destroying Us? | Victor Davis Hanson

If someone wished to destroy America, could he do anything more catastrophic than what we currently see and hear each day? What would an existential enemy do that we have not already done to ourselves?

Here are eleven now familiar steps to civilizational destruction:

1) Wipe out a 2,000 mile border. Allow 10-million foreign nationals to enter unlawfully. Have no audit of any; nullify all federal immigration laws. Let toxic drugs in that kill 100,000 Americans a year. Give free support for those millions who broke the law. Smear any objectors as racists and xenophobes.

2) Run up $35 trillion in national debt. Keep adding $1 trillion to it each 100 days. Defame anyone wishing to cut wild spending as cruel and inhumane.

3). Appease or subsidize enemies like Iran and China. Demonize allies like Israel. Allow terrorists to attack Americans without response. See Islam as either similar or superior to Christianity. Make amends to leftist governments for supposedly past toxic American international behavior. Follow the lead of international agencies like the UN, ICC, and WHO to atone forpast American neocolonial and imperialist behavior. Recede to second-tier international status, befitting American decline.

4) In a multiracial democracy, redefine identity only as one’s tribal affiliation. Ensure each identity group rivals the other for victimhood and the state spoils it confers. Redefine all political issues by race and sex oppressors and oppressed. Destroy all meritocratic standards of admission, retention, promotion, and commendation.

5) Redefine violent crime as understandable, cry-of-the-heart expressions of social justice. Ensure no bail and same-day release for arrested, repeat violent felons. Empathize with the violent killer and rapist; ignore their victims, especially if slain police-officers.

6). Emasculate the military by using non-meritocratic standards of race, gender, and sexual orientation to determine promotion and commendation. Deliberately smear as racists and insurrectionists the largest demographic in the military who in recent wars died at twice their numbers in the population—so that they leave or never join the military. Encourage retired high officers to slander their Commander-in-Chief. Cut the defense budget. Stop producing sufficient weapons, but leave billions of dollars’ worth of arms to terrorists.

7) Reinvent the justice system to indict, bankrupt, convict, jail and eliminate political opponents. Use ballot removal, impeachment, civil suits, and state and federal indictments rather than elections to defeat an opponent. Mob the homes of non-compliant Supreme Court Justices, attack them personally by name.

8) Encourage the fusion of the bureaucratic state with the electric media to form a powerful force for political audit, surveillance, censorship, and coercion. Marry the FBI to Silicon Valley and hire its contractors to warp the news and hound supposed enemies of the people.

9.) Make war on affordable gasoline and natural gas. Substitute inefficient, unreliable, and expensive wind and solar power, even as energy prices bankrupt the middle class.

10.) Marry late, but preferably not at all. Consider males toxic, especially boys. Have no children, or as few as possible. Otherwise, assure children they are entitled, and must be sheltered.  Raise them to have grievances against past generations and current norms.

11.) Turn world-class universities into indoctrination centers. Suspend the Bill of Rights on campuses. Train youth to graduate despising their own culture and civilization. Recruit foreign students from hostile nations to subsidize campus commissarbloat. Replace the curriculum with therapeutic propaganda. Ban the SAT/ACT and do not evaluate high school GPAs. Ensure merit does not select the student body. Charge tuition higher than the rate of inflation. Bill the government when students default on their loans.

So why are those controlling Biden using him to advance much of such a destructive agenda that would end America as we know it?

1) They are delusional and think their socialist and globalist agendas are working and will save us.

2) They are raging nihilists who do not like the U.S. and deliberately want it destroyed as a service to the world. A ruined U.S. is preferable to a strong America.

3) They are Jacobin revolutionaries who are intentionally erasing the old United States as a prerequisite for creating an entirely new America that will arise from the ashes with no trace or even memory of its past.

4) They have no agenda. They are aimless fools, and utter incompetents. These bunglers just wing it day-to-day, in response to what their radical media, academic, and political masters dictate is necessary for them to retain power. They have no idea of the damage they are doing.

5. A bit of 1-3, but probably not 4.

Stock Market Correction of 12% Could Happen Before Summer Bull Rally: BofA | Business Insider

It’s been 59 days without a 2% pullback in the S&P 500, according to data from YCharts, so a correction is likely overdue.

Bull and bear

  • A stock market correction of as much as 12% could be imminent, according to Bank of America
  • .
  • The bank laid out a stock market roadmap that includes a decline before a summer bull rally.
  • “We would not rule out an April-May pause ahead of a June-August summer rally,” Bank of America said.

US stocks have been on a tear so far this year, surging about 10% in what has become the 14th best first-quarter return on record, according to Bank of America.

But considering that 2024 is a Presidential election year, stocks are likely due for a pause over the next two months before a summer bull rally, technical strategist Stephen Suttmeier said in a note on Tuesday.

Suttmeier highlighted that April and May have historically been weak months for stocks during a Presidential election year, with the S&P 500 flat in April and down 1.1% in May, on average.

“Given this uninspiring seasonality, we would not rule out an April-May pause ahead of a June-August summer rally,” Suttmeier said.

It’s been 59 days without a 2% pullback in the S&P 500, according to data from YCharts, so a correction is likely overdue.

If a sell-off does materialize in the stock market, Suttmeier highlighted the following support levels to watch on the S&P 500: 4,800 and 4,600, which represents key breakout levels from December.

A decline to 4,600 on the S&P 500 represents potential downside of 12% from current levels, which would be a garden variety sell-off for investors.

“The 4,800 and 4,600 area breakout points offer big supports for the rest of 2024,” Suttmeier said.

But if the S&P 500 does fall back down to the 4,600 area, that doesn’t mean the bull rally is over, according to Suttmeier, who put out a long-term technical price objective of 6,150, representing potential upside of 18% from current levels.

“The January breakout above the 4,800 area does not rule out 6,150, which aligns with the catch-up trade potential for a secular bull market Presidential Cycle into yearend 2024,” Suttmeier said.

The bull rally gains could be even higher based off the current magnitude of the stock market’s rally that began in October 2022, according to the note.

Suttmeier said that the S&P 500 has rallied 47% from its October 2022 low, which is more than half of median stock market rallies from big lows of 106%, which last approximately four years. That suggests to Suttmeier that the S&P 500 could ultimately trade to 7,000 into late 2026, representing potential upside of 34%.

So, while the stock market is likely due for a correction in the short-term, that should be viewed as a buying opportunity as the broader bull market remains intact.

PEAK CORRUPTION: Jesse Watters Reveals the Multi-Million Dollar Perks Going to Judge Merchan’s Family for Taking Trump to Court in Bogus Hush Money Case (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit

Jesse Watters ran a devastating segment last night on radical Judge Juan Merchan who silenced President Donald Trump from talking about his family’s financial ties to the current junk case he is presiding over against Donald Trump in New York City.

Judge Merchan should be impeached for this lawlessness. This is peak corruption and cannot stand.

Jesse Watters: Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over Trump’s so-called hush money case in New York, slapped an even bigger gag order on the former President last night. Trump is banned from talking about the judge’s family. Why? Because the judge’s family was paid by the Biden campaign. The judge’s family is currently being paid by Adam Schiff over $10 million. Adam Schiff, this is the guy who conspired with Michael Cohen, the star witness in this case.

Trump isn’t allowed to say that the judge’s daughter is a Democrat consultant whose clients, the Biden campaign, Adam Schiff, are fundraising off Trump’s indictment. The judge’s family is getting rich off Trump trials, and he’s presiding over one. If Trump’s convicted, his family financially benefits. Instead of recusing because of a glaring conflict of interest, the judge is gagging Trump for pointing out the conflict of interest. Even Michael Avenadi says it’s nuts. The lawyer tweeting this from prison. We can’t be hypocrites when it comes to the First Amendment. It’s outrageous that Cohen and Daniels can do countless TV interviews, post on social, and make money on bogus documentaries all by talking-ish about Trump. But he’s gagged and threatened with jail if he responds.

The judge is threatening to put Trump in jail for pointing out that his liberal family is getting rich off this trial, and richer if he’s convicted. Now, the media who doesn’t support the First Amendment or care about corruption covers it this way.

The judge overseeing Donald Trump’s Hush Money trial just expanded a gag order forbid the defendant and former President from attacking his own family. He doesn’t just take his right to due process. He smears the judge. He harasses the judge’s daughter.

The judge’s daughter isn’t seven. She’s 34. He’s not attacking her. He’s just saying what she does for a living. How’s that an attack? He just wants a new judge, one whose family isn’t funded by Democrats. Ned Ryan is the founder of American Majority. Is that too much to ask?

It’s really not, Jesse. It’s pretty appalling. This feels like a turning point in all of this welfare against Trump. With this case, the left is dropping any pretense, doesn’t seem to care at all about having any pretense of legitimacy with the greater public It’s the gloves are off. It’s bare knuckles now. A leftist judge with a case that was not taken up by previous, the Southern district in New York, Bragg’s predecessor, a case that should never have been brought. He’s presiding over it. Trump simply points out the conflict of interest with his daughter, who, by the way, it’s $93 million in solicitations raised on this specific case. All Trump did was point out these facts. Instead of recusing himself, the judge goes, You need to shut up, and The corporate propagandists, with their Circus seal act, obediently rise to the occasion and say, Trump’s attacking the daughter. No, he’s just pointing out facts. I mean, Jesse, this is a gross… The attack on Trump’s constitutional rights to defend himself, the abuse of the law, the legal system on Trump. I have to tell you, the Democrats, the left have made a massive bet on all of this law fare that some of it will take Trump out.

I’m making a bet that this lawfare is going to blow up in their face. When things like this really break in on the normies that are watching this, they’re going to realize the gross abuse of power that the left is actually doing to try and bring down Trump because Orange Man bad. Anything anywhere, anytime is acceptable because Orange Man bad.

Sounds like peak corruption.

Why is it the ones who bring the court cases against Trump are always the most deceitful and corrupt?

A Nation Falling Apart at the Seams | VCY

With each passing day you can’t help but wonder, what’s next?  The things happening in America are happening so quickly.  For example, just a few years ago we had the most secure borders ever and we were energy independent.  Evidence indicates that America is more divided than ever and from the highest office in the land, Resurrection Sunday was hijacked by a transgender day of visibility.

So as you look at our nation from these facets as well as others, it’s clear that America is “falling apart at the seams.”

Returning to Crosstalk to explain why was Alex Newman.  Alex is an award-winning international freelance journalist, author, researcher, educator and consultant.  He is senior editor for The New American.  He’s co-author of Crimes of the Educators, author of  Deep State: The Invisible Government Behind the Scenes and author of, Indoctrinating Our Children to Death.  He is founder of Liberty Sentinel.

Alex began his analysis by describing his prognosis for the future of America.  He believes that when you look at the situation objectively and honestly, we’re a nation that is on the verge of collapse and that we’re seeing the judgment of God due to wickedness that unfortunately pervades much of society.  That is coupled with blatant rebellion that will only bring more judgment to our land.

Our national debt situation topped the list of areas of concern.  Jim indicated that the U.S. debt stands at 34.6 trillion dollars.  That doesn’t include what’s been raided from Social Security and other funds.  Alex responded by indicating that we’re on the verge of “economic catastrophe.”  We have over 200 trillion in unfunded liabilities.  That’s about ten times the size of the national economy and what we produce in a year and there’s no way that this figure could ever be paid off.  Alex believes that this alone means certain economic doom and adding to the problem has been the attempt to monetize the debt by printing trillions of dollars just over the last few years.

We’re also falling apart on the energy front and Alex believes this is deliberate.   Alex attended a U.N. climate conference and while the group seemed to communicate the idea of phasing out fossil fuels, throughout the conference the Communist Chinese were making oil and gas deals with the Arabs.  He contends that Russia, China and the Arabs aren’t going to stop drilling for oil and gas or stop building coal fired power plants.  He believes this shows that the energy systems of the West are being deliberately destroyed because you can’t simply substitute nuclear power plants with windmills and solar panels.

As the program progressed, Alex commented on the state of the U.S. border, the public education system, the military, and where we’re at politically and spiritually.

Alex described numerous problems that the New American has been warning the public about for many years.  Get the details, and hear what callers had to say, when you review this edition of Crosstalk.

Stuart Varney: Biden’s America is bursting with chaos | Fox Business

During his “My Take,” Wednesday, “Varney & Co.” host Stuart Varney discussed how the open southern border, migrant crisis, no cash bail laws and squatters’ rights have affected the nation during Biden’s presidency.

STUART VARNEY: This is a story that brings together several issues.

The border, migrants, no cash bail and squatters. This could only happen in Biden’s America.

SUSPECTED MIGRANT SQUATTERS FOUND IN NYC APARTMENT WITH CHILD FACE GUN, DRUG CHARGES

About a year ago, a group of migrants commandeered an apartment in the Bronx. They were squatters.

They disturbed the neighborhood with what appeared to be curbside drug deals and open violence.

They trashed the apartment.

The landlord wanted to evict them, but the law in New York is that if you occupy a house for 30 days, you can’t get them out without a very long court case.

BIDEN NOT PROTECTING US FROM A ‘KNOWN DANGER’ AT THE BORDER, CHINA EXPERT WARNS

Eventually, one of the squatters brandished a gun. Then the police raided.

They found guns, drugs and a seven-year-old child. They arrested 8 people.

Incredibly, 6 were released under New York’s no cash bail system, including the man who brandished the gun.

No wonder New Yorkers are fed up with the coddling of criminals. That’s a local issue.

Illegal immigration is a national issue because they come across Biden’s open border.

The squatters are illegal migrants. Two, who have long criminal rap sheets, are Venezuelans.

DEMOCRATS CAN’T STAND THAT MIGRANTS ARE ‘ILLEGAL’: VARNEY

Biden has a deal to let over a half million Venezuelans into our country. He let them in.

Last night, Trump said the border is a “bloodbath” because some Americans

have been robbed and killed, allegedly by migrants.

Of course, he was criticized for using emotive language, but it’s about time someone told President Biden how Americans are suffering from his policies.

Squatters, illegals, crime and violence. That’s Biden’s America.

9 Other Groups That Desperately Need Their Own Day Of Visibility | Babylon Bee

Now that the Biden administration has made sure to raise awareness of Trans Day of Visibility, it’s time for attention to be turned to other forgotten, tragically unnoticed groups of people in desperate need of their own days of visibility.

In the name of progress, The Babylon Bee has compiled the following list of people groups no one knows about that deserve recognition:

  1. Crossfitters: Not enough people are aware that these workout warriors exist and are flipping enormous truck tires and flailing thick ropes around to get into better shape than you’ll ever be in.
  2. Atheist vegans who own air fryers: A perpetually underrepresented segment of society. Shame on all of us for not giving them a platform.
  3. Trad wives who make sourdough: If only these hardworking women could let everyone around them know they make bread.
  4. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce: You probably haven’t ever heard of these humble people, let alone been made aware that they are in a relationship.
  5. Vapers: You’d never know it, but they are sitting near you at a baseball game blowing enormous clouds in your general direction.
  6. People doing carnivore: Far too few are made aware of these revolutionary people who have evolved into a superior race by only eating meat.
  7. Meghan Markle: Living in relative obscurity as a television actress and member of the British royal family is lonely and heartbreaking and will soon be documented in a heavily promoted Netflix series.
  8. Overweight underwear models: If there’s any group of people who must be seen and have their pictures plastered onto billboards and buses, it’s these large examples of human beauty.
  9. Liberal celebrities: Did you even know there are liberal celebrities? There are, and they know who you should vote for. It’s time to let them tell you.

Once all of these people groups get their rightful days of visibility, the world will be a much better place. Acknowledge them!

When guns are finally banned in the coming utopia, you may still need to defend yourself on the rare occasion.
