Richard Dawkins claims to argue his atheistic beliefs from science, but in reality, his claims just don’t add up. His arguments often aren’t scientific at all — and sometimes they’re not even logical.
For example, Dawkins said, “An atheist is just somebody who feels about Yahweh the way any decent Christian feels about Thor or Baal or the golden calf … we are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.”
The problem is that Thor was just a myth — Jesus Christ was a historical person whose life was documented both by the New Testament and many extra-biblical records. Baal and the golden calf? Well, they may have existed but were mere statues with no life. In contrast, Jesus Christ is alive as the vast amount of historical evidence for the Resurrection attests.
