A damning new study confirms what Americans already seem to believe about a biased media cheerleading for Democrats.
The mainstream media and its leftist bent have delivered “an unprecedented boost of positive publicity” for Vice President Kamala Harris since she swallowed up the re-election dreams of President Joe Biden, according to the Media Research Center.
In a study of network news and coverage of Harris versus that of former President Donald Trump, the conservative watchdog concluded that the Democrat nominee has enjoyed more positive coverage on CBS, NBC, and ABC while most of Trump’s coverage has been negative.
“Not only has Harris received 66% more airtime than former President Donald Trump, but the spin of Harris’s coverage has been more positive (84%) than any other major party nominee, even as Trump’s coverage has been nearly entirely hostile (89% negative),” author Rich Noyes wrote in the report.
“Add it all up, and the networks have granted the combined Democratic ticket of Harris-Walz 82% positive press, while Trump-Vance have faced 90% negative coverage,” the report noted.
The study was based on analyzing campaign coverage in evening newscasts on ABC, CBS, and NBC from the day Biden ended his race on July 21, through August 17. Not only was Harris gifted with 66% more airtime than Trump, but she was also given an “astonishing 84% positive spin score, an unprecedented level of good press,” Noyes noted.
“While the networks showered Harris with good press, their coverage of former President Trump was as hostile as ever,” he wrote.
“Given the networks’ idolatrous coverage of the past four weeks, it is conceivable Harris’s 2024 coverage could wind up even more positive than Obama’s was sixteen years ago,” the report indicated.
During the study period, it was also found that Harris’s left-wing stand on many policy issues was “completely ignored” as she was showered with positive press.
“ABC’s correspondents and anchors never once thought to identify Harris as a liberal; the only mention of Harris’s ideology on that network came from occasional soundbites from Trump and other Republicans, describing the Vice President as a “radical left lunatic,” Noyes wrote.
“The networks spent barely any time on controversies that might have marred Harris’s extraordinary media honeymoon,” he added, pointing to criticisms of Harris knowing about Biden’s condition, not having any media sit-downs, and securing the nomination without a single vote.
“Over the past four weeks, there’s been a tidal wave of positive statements about Harris, generating the impression of massive momentum in favor of the Democrats. Yet a closer look at the data shows the race hasn’t shifted nearly as much as the enthusiastic news coverage would suggest,” the report continued.
“As the Democratic National Convention begins, the Big Three evening newscasts have delivered Kamala Harris the most positive start to a general election campaign of any presidential nominee in recent memory. Not only is she getting the most coverage, she’s also getting by far the most positive press,” Noyes wrote.
“The question is whether the public will be swayed by this extraordinarily lopsided coverage, or will they see this as just more evidence of a partisan news media taking sides,” he added.
A Rasmussen Reports poll showed that likely voters believe the media is biased and will continue to help Harris against Trump.

Eighty years ago, the U.S. government launched a war bond campaign featuring a painting by artist Norman Rockwell in the struggle against the authoritarian threat from Europe. The picture they chose was Rockwell’s Freedom of Speech depicting a man rising to speak his mind at a local council meeting in Vermont. The image rallied the nation around what Louis Brandeis called our “indispensable right.”
Now, that very right is again under attack from another European government, which is claiming the right to censor what Americans are allowed to say about politics, science and other subjects. Indeed, the threat from the European Union may succeed in curtailing American freedom to an extent that the Axis powers could not have imagined. They may win, and our leaders have not said a thing yet about it.
In my book “The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage,” I discuss the inspiration for Rockwell’s painting: a young selectman in Vermont named James “Buddy” Edgerton. The descendent of a Revolutionary War hero, Edgerton stood up as the lone dissenter to a plan to build a new schoolhouse over the lack of funding for such construction.
For Rockwell, the scene was a riveting example of how one man in this country can stand alone and be heard despite overwhelming opposition to his views. It was, for Rockwell (and for many of us), the quintessential American moment.
In the 1940s, people like Edgerton had to travel to small board meetings or public spaces to speak their mind. Today, the vast majority of political speech occurs over the Internet and specifically social media. That is why the internet is the single greatest advancement for free speech since the printing press.
The rise of woke ideology in academia, coupled with the decline of classical education and critical thinking has encouraged students to abandon nuanced thinking. Consequently, universities produce more opinionated yet ill-informed students. While signs of “peak woke” are emerging in corporate and public spheres, the continued advance of wokeism risks severe backlash, potentially leading to further social division and erosion of fundamental American values.

The Chicago Police Department’s former chief of detectives, Gene Roy, called out the hypocrisy and myriad of ironies surrounding the DNC in the Windy City this week.
Roy told Fox News Digital, “There’s a lot of ironies associated with the DNC being held at the United Center.”
He pointed to the murder of 7-year-old Jai’Mani Rivera, who was killed by a stray bullet just blocks away from the venue where the elites are protected with extensive security and security walls.
His alleged killer is a 16-year-old with a violent history who was allowed to move freely about the city.
In contrast, Roy pointed out the differences between what the party elites do to protect themselves and what they do not provide to the mothers, fathers, elderly, and children of Chicago who are left to fend for themselves.
He called what is happening at the DNC “window dressing” choreographed to hide the real and catastrophic problems faced by residents.
Roy said, “I find the whole DNC convention here as an example of the elitism of the Democratic Party.”
“The politicians are inside a heavily fortified building, almost like a castle. They’re feasting on the best of food and liquor while protected by hundreds of armed police officers and two separate fences.”
“When I think about it, it reminds me of a king and his court living the high life in a castle in Europe protected by an army while a moat, the two separate perimeters, and fences, isolates the castle and the powerful from the reality of life outside.”
While the party elites have dance parties and pat themselves on the back for some “clever” gotcha zingers, outside the castle wall, where children need to get to school, parents need to get to work, and grandmas need to get to the store, absolute chaos has unfolded in the streets. Chaos that does not touch the glitterati inside the United Center.
On Monday, the “party of Joy” far-left protestors broke down a portion of the DNC convention border gate and climbed over the barrier.
Democrat hypocrites built a wall around the DNC convention in Chicago to keep the far-left protestors away from the party elitists.
The pro-Hamas protestors broke down the gate and began flooding over to the next barrier.
On Tuesday, communist democrat voters targeted the Israeli Consulate and burned American and Israeli flags in the street.

CHICAGO, IL — With the top personalities of the Democratic Party gathering in the Windy City this week to officially nominate Kamala Harris for president, news broke late last night that President Joe Biden had been found in a dumpster behind the DNC convention center.
Following his keynote speech on Monday night, Biden was ushered off of the stage and quickly discarded with other used-up and unwanted items, where he was later discovered by a group of homeless men looking for food.
“Hey, is that the president?” one of the filthy vagrants reportedly asked after seeing Biden’s legs protruding from the dumpster. “I’d know that shuffling movement anywhere. My friends and I rushed over to help him out of the dumpster, and sure enough, it was Joe Biden. I guess the Democrats finally decided they had gotten what they wanted and didn’t need him anymore.”
After retrieving the leader of the free world from the garbage, the transients asked Biden how he ended up there. “Listen, fellas,” Biden said. “They told me there was an ice cream truck out behind the building. As soon as I stopped outside, some guys grabbed me and threw me in the trash. Can you believe it? The idea… that the president could be tossed aside like a bag of… just like a bag of… like a… stuff. Anyway… I appreciate the help. You know, I was homeless once. Back in Delaware… after I was a lifeguard… me and… and… Corn Pop. Homeless. Anyway…”
At publishing time, the bums said Biden had shuffled off into the night to find his wife, Jill, and ask where the ice cream truck went.

How are you supposed to run a party convention? And how are you supposed to behave when you stage one?
The Gospel Coalition is one of the largest online ministries, founded by Tim Keller and Don Carson. Within Evangelicalism, The Gospel Coalition has been a force advancing theological liberalism to a traditionally orthodox audience. One such strategy of The Gospel Coalition and others in broader Big Eva is called “Third-Wayism.” In Third-Wayism a moral equivalency is drawn between two opposing ideas and the solution is a “third way” which draws inspiration from the prior two ideas while claiming to be the biblical approach. This is often done in politicos with Republicans and Democrats, drawing false moral equivalency to justify liberal policies and voting habits.
In a recent article, Joe Carter of The Gospel Coalition did a breakdown of what major parties believe and their decision to include certain third parties is rather telling. The four parties mentioned are the Democrat, Republican, Constitution, and the American Solidarity parties. The neglect of the Libertarian Party and the Green Party is an interesting framing of this article. The inclusion of the Constitution Party and the American Solidarity Party frames the four parties as the legitimate options for Christian voters. Robert F Kennedy Jr is also excluded, although rumor has it he’s dropping out of the race and endorsing Trump.
The inclusion of the American Solidarity Party is noteworthy. While the Constitution Party is on the ballot in 14 states, primarily running to articulate issues on the right rather than to win, the American Solidarity Party in on the ballot in Arkansas and Hawaii, and that’s it. The party brands itself as a Christian party, marrying pro-life with open borders and Social Justice.
What such tradition of pluralistic democracy exists in Christianity? Who knows, but the American Solidarity Party has counterparts abroad.
Including this woke church party is a purposeful decision by The Gospel Coalition, even if ultimately inconsequential in 2024. The American Solidarity Party is the embodiment of what Big Eva believes and that’s the point of including it. This is the Third Wayism they want the laity to embrace. It will ultimately fail because there is no market for a woke liberal pro-life party.

On Wednesday, Ukraine attacked Moscow—among other targets—in one of its largest drone strikes of the war. While casualties were minimal, with Russia claiming to have shot down each of the drones, it represents a further escalation in the region that has left the war’s future even less certain than before. As such, now seems like a good time to take a look at where both sides stand as the first whisps of winter begin to draw near.
Greg Myre recently published an update on three of Ukraine’s borders, and it speaks to how difficult it can be to measure progress in war: In the North, Ukrainian troops carried out a “surprise invasion” on August 6, referred to as the Kursk Operation, and have continued to hold their position. It’s estimated that 2-3000 Russian soldiers are pinned down in the Glushkovsky district. Luke Harding and Dan Sabbagh in Kyiv report that Russian civilians have escaped the area on small boats.
In the east, 250 miles from the Kursk region, Russian forces have continued to gain ground on Ukraine’s crucial military supply lines and critical cities, specifically in the town of Donetsk, causing Ukrainians to evacuate the nearby town of Pokrovsk.
South, in the Black Sea, Ukraine has made significant naval advances, delivering an “ongoing series of powerful blows” to the Russian navy. These attacks have allowed the Ukrainians to regain exportation channels of agricultural products to world markets.
A bird’s eye view of each side’s advances seems to show a “seesaw” effect, with the Ukranians gaining ground in the north, and the Russians continuing to push inwards from the east. Matthew Savill, an expert in military sciences, believes it is “too early to say whether Ukraine’s Kursk attack was a brilliant stratagem that wrong-footed the Russians or a disastrous error that would ultimately wipe out its best forces.”
Defense and security analyst Michael Clarke remarks that the “dynamism” of the battlefield in recent weeks shows that both sides are seeing and seizing military opportunities. Yet he comments that with Winter on its way, freezing up much of the battlefield, time will soon tell which offensive strategy will prove most successful: the Ukrainian advance in the Kursk region or the Russian advance from the east.
Zelensky has stated that the creation of a “buffer zone” in Russia is the operation’s main aim. Sources show Ukrainian forces bombing bridges in the region and gaining territory in tanks. According to Russian reports, all three bridges of the Seym River have either been “destroyed or damaged.”
Oleksandr Syrskyi, Ukraine’s top military commander, has assessed that Ukraine now controls 74 villages and towns in the Kursk region, holding approximately 400 square miles of Russian territory. Mire suggests that Syrsky’s claims may be “upbeat” and admits these figures cannot be independently confirmed.
Relatedly, Ukraine’s parliament passed a bill banning activities of religious organizations with ties to Russia last Tuesday. Its parliament voted to ban the Russian-linked Ukrainian Orthodox church, accusing it of siding with Moscow.
Zelensky says the ban will boost Ukraine’s “spiritual independence.” Meanwhile, the Russians judge the ban as “illegal.” Yet President Zelenky’s stance and the parliamentary votes symbolize the Ukrainian government’s desire to pursue complete separation from Russia.
On Monday, President Zelensky continued to exhort the Ukrainian army and ask for international support, claiming there are “no vacations in war.” In his address, he called out to brigades by name, encouraging them to stand strong: “Thank you, warriors! Thank you for your strength,” later adding, “Your resilience, warriors, matters for all of Ukraine . . . Thank you! . . . Well done!”
It has been more than 900 days since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine, and the world continues to look on as civilians on both sides either evacuate their homes or learn to live with the constant threat of bombing and explosions while soldiers, military, and political leaders hold their ground.
With seemingly no end in sight, let’s continue to pray for Christ’s ultimate shalom, for His kingdom to come, and for his desire to be done in our world.
Jesus, you are the true King. Exert your rule over our lands, over our hearts, and over our minds as we pursue your peace.

We are trapped in a political matrix intended to sustain the illusion that we are citizens of a constitutional republic.
In reality, we are caught somewhere between a kleptocracy (a government ruled by thieves) and a kakistocracy (a government run by unprincipled career politicians, corporations and thieves that panders to the worst vices in our nature and has little regard for the rights of American citizens).
For years now, the government has been playing a cat-and-mouse game with the American people, letting us enjoy just enough freedom to think we are free but not enough to actually allow us to live as a free people.
In other words, we’re allowed to bask in the illusion of freedom while we’re being stripped of the very rights intended to ensure that we can hold the government accountable to abiding by the rule of law, the U.S. Constitution.
We’re in trouble, folks.
This is no longer America, land of the free, where the government is of the people, by the people and for the people.
Rather, this is Amerika, where fascism, totalitarianism and militarism go hand in hand.
In the 1920s, a term was coined that is very appropriate for what is taking place in America today: red fascism. It was a term that likely originated with an Italian anarchist, Luigi Fabbri, who wrote in 1922 that “‘red fascists’ is the name that has recently been given to those Bolshevik communists who are most inclined to espouse fascism’s methods for use against their adversaries.” This description and behavior of course should not come as a surprise to anyone. Socialism is intrinsic to both communism and fascism, as both are movements of the left with a massive, oppressive, and powerful State central to achieving their goals.
