Do You See God’s Glory? | Truth For Life Blog

Do You See God's Glory?

In His High Priestly Prayer, recorded in John 17, Jesus prayed for Himself and all His followers—including believers today. In the sermon “Before the World Existed,” Alistair Begg examines the eternal nature of Jesus’ request for glory and the victorious report He shared as He prayed to the Father. Because of His immense love for sinners, God the Father planned the work of salvation, God the Son accomplished it on the cross, and God the Spirit applies the reality of redemption to all who believe and trust in Christ. In the following excerpt, Alistair reminds us that these realities are folly until our eyes have been opened to behold God’s glory.

The Bible’s explanation of our world, which starts with God and goes from there through our rebellion and so on—you may not like it, but it certainly coheres. Jesus is, in that context, asking his Father, “I want you, Father, to glorify me again in your presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed”—the glory of the coequal, undivided Godhead, the Trinity, enjoying one another. God created the world, but he didn’t have to create it. God did not create the world because he needed a world. God created the world out of the depth of his own being. In the reality of the Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit live within the mutuality of perfect love. Everything else is an extrapolation from that.

And in the incarnation, it involved in some measure Jesus laying aside that shared glory of eternity. When we sing about it in—I think we sang the hymn last week—Wesley’s hymn, “Emptied himself of all but love,”  it’s a very difficult line there, and I sympathize with Wesley, because he wasn’t sure just how to say that, because he wanted to say more than that. Because Jesus, in taking to himself humanity, emptied something of himself. And so Jesus now says, “Father, I’m looking forward to the glory. I’m looking forward to being back with you.”

If Jesus were a mere man, this is ludicrous. Have you considered that? I mean, if Jesus is a Galilean carpenter—somehow or another, the world has hung on to his recollection, and some crazy people throughout the world still revere his memory, and so on—if that is all we’re dealing with, it is actually a measure of the incapacity of our minds to worship, to follow, and to obey him.

And that is why, you see, when we talk with our friends and neighbors, if a person is going to come to know God—to know God—they’re not going to know God as a result of rationalism, nor are they going to come to know God as a result of a kind of irrational mysticism—so, “Ohm” down in the park with your yoga mat or whatever else it is, feeling very much and understanding what people are saying: “I’m intuitively engaged in this kind of thing.” Fine. That’s okay. But what we’re discovering here in the Bible is something very, very different.

It is as we consider the words and the works of the one who is here praying to his Father that we then are made to understand that God has made himself known finally, unmistakably, savingly in a real, historical man—not in a mantra, not in a philosophy, not in a scheme, but in a man. “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,”  tired, hungry, sad, joyful, whatever. “And we,” say his friends, “we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, … full of grace and truth.”

Only those who have faith see the glory of God in his Word and in his works. If you do not see something of the glory of God, if you do not marvel at the wonder of all that he has given you, if you do not give thanks for your food from a genuine sense of the awareness of his provision, if you do not see God’s glory, the chances are it is because you are unconverted—interested, engaged, from time to time emotionally stirred, but unconverted.

THE LIES SATAN WOULD HAVE TOU BELIEVE

The Lies Satan Would Have You Believe | WRETCHED TV Episode 2396

Segment 1:

Todd Friel explains that doubts about salvation come from Satan, not God. He advises Christians to focus on Jesus for assurance and joy, noting that occasional doubts do not mean you’re not saved.

Segment 2:

Friel debunks lies about Christian assurance, such as the idea that hard times or imperfect deeds mean God doesn’t love you. He reassures that struggling with sin is normal and encourages believers to maintain joy and confidence.

Segment 3:

Todd clarifies that a decrease in initial excitement doesn’t indicate a lack of salvation, comparing it to deeper love in long-term relationships. He confirms that struggling with sin is normal and emphasizes that genuine concern for faith is a sign of salvation.

Segment 4:

Using the rundown hotel analogy, Friel describes sanctification as a gradual process of revealing and addressing new sins. He refutes the devil’s lie that discovering new sins means you were never saved, highlighting that repentance and ongoing struggle are normal for Christians.

THE LIES SATAN WOULD HAVE TOU BELIEVE

August 30 Evening Verse of the Day

17 Eliphaz hopes to alter Job’s response to his misfortune by instructing him about the security that the one who trusts in God has during a season of affliction. He opens with a beatitude: blessed is the man whom God reproves. God reproves (hôḵîah) the one he loves like a faithful father disciplines his son or like a concerned teacher corrects his student (cf. Prov. 3:11–12; Ps. 118:18; Heb. 12:5–11). Since he who submits to the painful process of discipline will experience blessing, one must not reject the discipline [mûsār] of Shaddai. In the end he will come forth a better person, enjoying God’s favor in greater measure.

Eliphaz understands discipline or reproof as an intermediate step in the doctrine of retribution. One who needs correcting is reproved in order that he might repent and find forgiveness lest he persist in his error and experience the full punishment his error merits. Misfortune is God’s rod of discipline; it reveals his loving care for humanity in that he does not let a person go to the grave without exerting great effort to make that person aware of the consequences of his sinful acts. Consequently, when misfortune befalls a devout follower, it is to be taken as God’s attempt to instruct him. Pain is the instrument of discipline long before it becomes the fulfillment of a curse. Thus Eliphaz is encouraging Job to stop chafing against God’s discipline with such bitter lamenting.[1]

5:17 / At the end of his first speech, Eliphaz equates Job’s suffering with divine discipline and encourages Job not to resist it. Since God’s purposes are both unfathomable (5:9) and undeniably good (5:16), anyone (and especially Job) ought to trust this wonder-working God, accept correction, and not despise his discipline. Eliphaz drives his encouragement home with a proverb featuring the common wisdom generalization, blessed is the man (ʾashre ʾenosh) whom God corrects. He then quickly turns to directly address Job personally, employing the second masculine singular in the second half of the verse: ʾal timʾas, “[you] do not despise.” Eliphaz continues this direct address throughout the rest of the chapter, leaving no doubt that he not only desires to provide more universal instruction (as in 5:8–16), but that he also intends his speech to influence the behavior of his friend, Job.[2]

5:17

Behold, blessed is the one whom God reproves;

therefore despise not the discipline of the Almighty.

What, then, does Eliphaz mean by what is for Job’s ‘good’? (5:27). It is that God is ‘reproving’ Job and training him (see 5:17). This verse is quoted several times in the New Testament. Its general truth is certain, but the question is: how does it apply to Job, if it applies at all? Is divine chastisement the explanation of Job’s calamities? It is not! Has Job sinned in complaining? Yes, he has, and that will not be overlooked by God as the narrative unfolds and comes to a climax. (Elihu will begin to deal with it, and then Jehovah will complete the process, as only he can.)

But Eliphaz is dealing with the cause of Job’s afflictions, and that is not Job’s sin. The Prologue has made that clear. Consequently, for Job to admit that he has so sinned in the hope of gaining a wonderful restoration is for him to depart from his integrity—and whose purpose will that serve? Whose case will that prove—Jehovah’s, or Satan’s? Working on the principle that wickedness will be judged in this life in strict accord with the degree of sin that has been committed, Eliphaz views Job’s affliction as proof positive of grievous sin. But Job’s spiritual integrity is such that he will not use pretence as a way (back) to prestige and prosperity.[3]

17. When disaster hits the godly man, he recognizes this as part of God’s training, and so can rejoice in adversity. This is a new idea to cover the case that was not included in the simplistic classification of verses 11–16, where the wicked are confounded and the good are helped. Neither applies to Job. He is a good man confounded, not helped. The teaching that such experiences are chastening (mûsār) was the staple curriculum of the Wisdom schools. Eliphaz began his speech by addressing Job personally. In the middle part he lectures. Now, by switching back to the second person, he comes nearer to preaching. His words are good, and doubtless Job had said the same thing to depressed souls many times (4:3, 4). Troubles are tests; the person who realizes this responds creatively. The rebellious only make more trouble for themselves by resentment (cf. 5:2).[4]

September 1 – Your Arm’s Too Short to Box with God! | VCY

TODAY’S BIBLE READING CHALLENGE:
  Job 40:1-42:17
  2 Corinthians 5:11-21
  Psalm 45:1-17
  Proverbs 22:14

Job 40:4 — Job has an Isaiah-like experience (Isaiah 6:5). He no longer wishes to take his case to the LORD. He wants to close his mouth and take back the foolish words he has said.

Job 40:9 — James Weldon Johnson communicated this verse by applying it to today’s society: “Young man, young man, your arm’s too short to box with God!”

Job 40:15 — What is behemoth? From Journal of Creation:

Two great creatures, behemoth and leviathan, are described by God in Job. Some commentators have suggested behemoth was an elephant or hippo but the description simply doesn’t match (e.g. behemoth “moves his “tail like a cedar”). It’s appears God is describing a sauropod dinosaur and a fearsome now-extinct sea creature.

Job 41:1 — Leviathan is not referring to Thomas Hobbe’s work on government! Rather, Creation.com goes in depth and disproves the “alligator theory”:

Behemoth and leviathan may well be now extinct species that were still living in Job’s day. While what is known about several species of dinosaurs may appear to fit some aspects of God’s description of behemoth and leviathan, the most we can say with confidence is that the descriptions do not match any known living species today. At the same time, to call them ‘mythological’ creatures is to do violence to the text and context of Job; therefore, we affirm that these were actual creatures of which Job had knowledge (although we cannot state whether Job had direct or indirect knowledge of them). They symbolize the power of evil, connected with Satan, who is mentioned in the first chapters of the book. The words of God humbled Job and showed him that God is above all powers in this world.

Job 42:2 — Job responds by admitting the LORD’s omnipotence and omniscience. He then declares his insufficiency (Job 42:3) and repents (Job 42:6).

Job 42:9 — God forgives Job and continues to accept him! What a merciful God we have!

Job 42:10 — If God gave Job twice what he had before – the sheep were doubled, the camels were doubled, the oxen were doubled, and the she asses were doubled. But notice that Job’s children were replaced but not doubled (Job 42:13). Job’s children did not succumb to nihilism and vanish. No … God had taken them. Job’s children had doubled as well – half were on earth with him and half were in heaven with the LORD.

Job 42:17 — Job died, not having cursed God but having been full of days. A godly legacy!

2 Corinthians 5:11 — Terror … not in the sense of the irrational fear that we’ve charged this word with today, but in the historic sense of “calculated to impress fear” (Webster’s Dictionary 1848).

2 Corinthians 5:14 — What was the irresistible power behind Paul? The love of Christ!

2 Corinthians 5:17 — Has there been a great change since you’ve been born again?

2 Corinthians 5:18 — God hath reconciled us to Himself! This is the first use in Paul’s Epistles of the word “reconcile” (Ellicott’s Commentary for English Readers). Are we reconciled to God or is God reconciled to us? The hymn “Arise My Soul, Arise!” contains the line “My God is reconciled”, but some versions disagreed with the claim and so they changed it to “To God I’m reconciled”MacArthur says it’s both:

So man has to be dramatically, transformed, but God also has to have His attitude dealt with because God cannot look upon iniquity and iniquity is going to have to be dealt with, right? Something has got to modify God’s wrath. Something’s got to deal with God’s attitude.

For an extensive explanation, see J. Preston Eby’s work “Just What Do You Mean … Reconciliation.”

However you take it – it’s not the direction of reconciliation but the “causer” of reconciliation that’s important. As Oswald Chambers summarizes it:

Jesus Christ reconciled the human race, putting it back to where God designed it to be. And now anyone can experience that reconciliation, being brought into oneness with God, on the basis of what our Lord has done on the cross. A man cannot redeem himself— redemption is the work of God, and is absolutely finished and complete.

How was the reconciliation accomplished? Because of the substitutionary, vicarious atonement of Jesus Christ that allowed God’s imputed righteousness to be deposited in our account (2 Corinthians 5:21).

2 Corinthians 5:20 — From Earl Martin:

Psalm 45:6 — Our God shall reign forever!

Proverbs 22:14 — A choice of companions can affect your life. And when your greatest companion is your lifelong spouse, it is important that you choose not the Strange Woman but the woman that fears the LORD (Proverbs 31:30)!

Maintain the Difference | VCY

And I will put a division between my people and thy people: tomorrow shall this sign be. (Exodus8:23)

Pharaoh has a people, and the Lord has a people. These may dwell together and seem to fare alike, but there is a division between them, and the Lord will make it apparent. Not forever shall one event happen alike to all, but there shall be great difference between the men of the world and the people of Jehovah’s choice.

This may happen in the time of judgments, when the Lord becomes the sanctuary of His saints. It is very conspicuous in the conversion of believers when their sin is put away, while unbelievers remain under condemnation. From that moment they become a distinct race, come under a new discipline, and enjoy new blessings. Their homes, henceforth, are free from the grievous swarms of evils which defile and torment the Egyptians. They are kept from the pollution of lust, the bite of care, the corruption of falsehood, and the cruel torment of hatred, which devour many families.

Rest assured, tried believer, that though you have your troubles you are saved from swarms of worse ones, which infest the homes and hearts of the servants of the world’s prince. The Lord has put a division; see to it that you keep up the division in Spirit, aim, character, and company.

Sola Scriptura vs spiritual blindness | Possessing the Treasure

by Mike Ratliff

13 But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father did not plant shall be uprooted. 14 Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” Matthew 15:13-14 (LSB)

What is Sola Scriptura? This is a Latin phrase. Sola has the idea of “alone,” “ground,” or “base” while scriptura means “writings” and refers to Sacred Scripture or what we refer to in the vernacular as The Holy Bible. Sola Scriptura means that Sacred Scripture alone is authoritative for the faith and practice of the Christian. That being true it must also be true that “all Scripture is ‘God breathed’ (given of inspiration of God) and is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, instruction in righteousness… (2 Timothy 3:16).” Sola Scriptura was the rallying cry of the Protestant Reformation. One of first things the reformers did after breaking from the Roman Catholic Church was to translate the Bible into the common language of their people. This was violently resisted by the Roman Church with many translators, such as William Tyndale, paying with their lives for putting a non-Latin Bible into the hands of the common people.

The Roman Church had made the error of placing its traditions above the Bible in authority. Along with this, they also elevated the Bishop of Rome above all authority. This put Scripture below two man-made and, therefore, fallible institutions. Sola Scriptura has been under constant attack since the Protestant Reformation. Christian Liberalism has sought to abolish Sola Scriptura the last few centuries. Its main weapon is human philosophy in various forms. However, the error they are making is the same that the Roman Church made. They place what men say and want above what God’s Word clearly teaches.

Those theologians, preachers, and teachers who attack Sola Scriptura are blind guides leading the blind. They argue that Sola Scriptura itself is not biblical meaning that it could not possibly be true since it is not explicitly taught in Scripture. While this is true, this argument fails to recognize a crucial point, which is that the Bible does tell us that it is the Word of God. The Bible declares itself to be God-breathed, inerrant, and authoritative. The Bible also tells us that God does not change His mind or contradict Himself.  This means that the Bible does not allow for the traditions of men to contradict its message. Sola Scriptura is an argument against unbiblical, extra-biblical, and/or anti-biblical doctrines. Therefore, the Word of God is the only source we have to know for sure what God expects of us and that means that we must stay true to what we know He has revealed.

Once Sola Scriptura is cast aside then the teachings and traditions of men and the doctrines of demons seep in to take the place of the Word of God as the source of wisdom and direction we all need. Traditions are valid only when they are based on Scripture and are in full agreement with it. Feelings are subjective while the Word of God is objective. We cannot place our feelings above what the Word of God says. Anything along these lines will place Christians into darkness and will harden their hearts as long as they are not obeying what God’s Word says. Spiritual blindness is deadly. Our Lord told his disciples, referring to the Scribes and Pharisees of His day, to “Let them alone (Matthew 15:14).” This is a severe judgment and is a form of God’s wrath. It signifies abandonment by God. This is described by the Apostle Paul in Romans 1:18-32  as “God gave them up.”

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, both His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the likeness of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions; for their females exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the males abandoned the natural function of the female and burned in their desire toward one another, males with males committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to an unfit mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, violent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and although they know the righteous requirement of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. Romans 1:18-32 (LSB)

Spiritual blindness comes from God to those who are in rebellion against Him. When a false way is accepted as the right way then it really does not take long for those espousing heresy to begin to cast doubt on what is true while elevating that which is evil and false as being true. Their futile thinking sends their hearts deeper into darkness. God will actually “let them alone.” They will no longer receive His gracious drawing and convictions. With this comes the false conclusion that they are doing what God wants them to do since they are no longer being convicted that denigrating God’s Word is a sin. Oh yes, it is a sin because we are commanded in God’s Word to not “despise prophecies.”

19 Do not quench the Spirit; 20 do not despise prophecies, 21 but examine all things; hold fast to that which is good; 22 abstain from every form of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:19-22 (LSB)

The Greek word for despise in this passage is ἐξουθενέω (exoutheneō). This word describes a person setting something at nought. In other words, this is implying that something is valueless. The Greek word for prophecies here is προφητεία (prophēteia). This word can refer to a spoken revelation from God (Acts 11:27,28; 1 Timothy 1:18; 1 Timothy 4:14). However, most often in Sacred Scripture it is used to refer to God’s Word in written form (Matthew 13:14; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Revelation 1:3; Revelation 22:7, 10, 18, 19). In this context, Paul is telling us to not denigrate that which are authoritative messages from God through a recognized spokesman for God and that they are not to be treated lightly. When God’s Word is preached or read, it is to be received with great seriousness. However, blind guides do the very opposite. They are continually attempting to cast off the yoke of authority that God’s Word is. Why? The reason is that if God’s Word is what we have been saying it is then Sola Scriptura is true and that means God’s Word has authority over all things. That means that men who are attempting to reform Christianity along the lines of what is cool and easy to digest by unregenerate hearts are having their hearts darkened and are being given over to a debased mind which never hears from God, either good or bad.

Once the yoke of authority that is God’s Word is cast off by blind guides then those who follow them will also become blind. How can the blind lead the blind unless they both fall into a pit?

My brethren, Sola Scriptura is both a great encouragement to the believer and also a boundary straight from God that is a great comfort to those who submit to it in obedience. On the other hand, those who are attempting to do away with Sola Scriptura are trying to create a form of Christianity that is just as dark and disobedient as the Roman Catholic Church at the time of the Protestant Reformation. Their doctrines are man-made and, therefore, fallible and based in what men want. We are already seeing this a great deal with the concept of Christianity Burger King style – Have it Your Way! We can only speak the truth, pray for those in darkness that they will repent, and pray for the those in the light to not be deceived. We must pray for ourselves that we will not despise the Word of God, but joyfully love and obey it.

Soli Deo Gloria!

A.I – Is This The Beginning Of The End For The Human Race?
The question of whether AI could cause human extinction is a subject of intense debate among experts, futurists, and ethicists. While the potential risks of AI are significant, the possibility of it leading to human extinction depends on several factors, including how AI is developed, governed, and integrated into society. Here’s a breakdown of the possible risk v benefit of this technology and considerations concerning its future use in society:

THE FOUNDATION

“The invasion of private rights is chiefly to be apprehended, not from acts of Government contrary to the sense of its constituents, but from acts in which the Government is the mere instrument of the major number of the Constituents.” —James Madison (1788)

ON THIS DAY in 1781, a French fleet with 3,000 troops arrived in Yorktown, Virginia, which was the beginning of the end for British forces — and the end of the beginning for the Americans.

EXECUTIVE NEWS SUMMARY

Douglas Andrews, Thomas Gallatin, & Jordan Candler

Politics

  • ABC News quashes Harris debate rule changes: Kamala Harris’s gambit to avoid debating Donald Trump didn’t work. Neither did her campaign’s last-minute request to ABC News to change the previously agreed-upon debate rules. For example, one rule Harris sought to change is the muting of each candidate’s microphone while the other is answering a question. Harris believed having both mics unmuted for the entirety of the 90-minute debate would benefit her and damage Trump. As Harris spokesman Brian Fallon argued, “Even though Trump said Monday he would be fine with an unmuted mic, his handlers don’t trust him to spar live with VP Harris and are asking ABC to ignore Trump’s comments and keep the mics muted or else they will back out of the debate for a third time.” Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller responded, “The Harris folks are completely full of it. Everything was agreed to and set last week. The Harris people are trying to distract and come up with something shiny to move away from the fact that she’s not doing interviews.” It’s unlikely that Harris would back out of the debate now because it would only reinforce the claim that she is afraid.
  • Did Kamala lie about flipping fries? Kamala Harris’s claims about her quintessentially American employment experience are coming under scrutiny. Harris has repeatedly said she used to work at McDonald’s, a claim that would endear her to all the former burger-flippers who got their first job at a local fast-food joint. But it sounds like this might be a big fat lie. As The Washington Free Beacon reports, “Harris’s work at McDonald’s, which allegedly took place at a franchise in the California Bay Area the summer after her freshman year in college, is a recent addition to her carefully curated life story. For decades, Harris never mentioned it, not on the campaign trail nor in two books. It’s absent from a job application and résumé she submitted a year after she graduated from college. Third-party biographers did not write about it. Not until Harris ran for president in 2019 and spoke to a labor rally in Las Vegas did she mention the job.” This might seem like a little lie, but it would say something big about Harris’s character.
  • Harris memory-holes her past: It’s no secret that Kamala Harris is a Bay Area progressive of Jamaican-Indian descent who grew up in Canada and whose ancestors were slaveowners and whose dad was a Marxist college professor. At least not to readers of The Patriot Post. Low-information Democrat voters, though? Not so much. And the Harris campaign aims to keep it that way. As columnist Tim Graham considers Harris’s radical biography, he writes, “It can’t be ‘The People’s Republic of Berkeley’ in anyone’s reintroduction to moderate voters.” A recent New York Times piece notes that Harris’s mom, Shyamala, was “steeped in the social activism vibrant in both Berkeley and Oakland,” and, says Graham, “They told readers that the word ‘Berkeley’ went missing early in her career, when Harris ran for attorney general of California in 2008.” Of Harris’s upbringing, Graham quotes another Times reporter, Astead Herndon, who said this: “This is someone who is growing up really around not only just a black community but a very prideful, rich history of blackness. … The Black Panthers’ headquarters was blocks from her house.” Moreover, her parents made “a very intentional effort to place their children in black affirmation spaces.” And as for the six formative teenage years she spent in Montreal, Team Harris be like: Huh?
  • Rogan and MSNBC deception: MSNBC has issued a correction to a deceptively edited video it posted to TikTok which falsely implied that popular podcaster Joe Rogan spoke favorably of Kamala Harris. Rogan blasted the network in a podcast episode, calling the August 2 video clip an example of how mainstream media lies to the public. “This is what MSNBC did: They took a clip of me talking about Tulsi Gabbard and they edited it up and made it look like I was saying great things about Kamala Harris,” he stated. “I was talking about Tulsi Gabbard being a congresswoman for eight years and about how she served overseas [as part of] two deployments in medical service dealing with people who were blown up by the war.” Rogan added, “That’s not something Kamala Harris did. That’s something Tulsi Gabbard did.” Gabbard called it “another example of how MSNBC is working hand in glove with the Democrat elite and the Kamala Harris campaign to try to spread lies.” MSNBC’s statement reads, “We have removed an earlier version of this post that incorrectly implied Joe Rogan was talking more about Vice President Kamala Harris. He was referring to Tulsi Gabbard.”
  • Biden’s former Senate colleagues helped defenestrate him: It’s no secret that the Democrats were in full-blown panic mode in the days after Joe Biden’s debate meltdown against Donald Trump, but the details have so far been relatively sparse. Until now. As The New York Times reports, a normally reserved longtime Rhode Island senator, Jack Reed, played a significant role in kicking Biden to the curb: “So when Senate Democrats gathered privately with President Biden’s top political advisers last month to assess Mr. Biden’s capacity to remain the Democratic presidential nominee,” The Times writes, “the decision by the normally taciturn Mr. Reed to be among the first to speak was notable. What was even more remarkable was what he said, according to two attendees: If Mr. Biden wanted to stay in the race after a disastrous debate performance that underscored concerns about his condition and mental acuity, he should submit to examination by two independent neurologists who were willing to report their findings at a news conference.” Imagine that: Senate Democrats finally came around to the reality that we here in our humble shop had been reporting since long before the 2020 election.
  • College athletes offered money to endorse Jon Tester: Montana Democrat Senator Jon Tester faces an uphill battle to win reelection in the red state. His opponent is Republican businessman and former Navy SEAL Tim Sheehy, who currently holds a five-point lead in the RealClearPolitics polling average. For Democrats to have any realistic chance of holding their Senate majority, Tester can’t lose. To promote Tester, a group called Montana Together has enlisted Opendorse, a platform that college athletes can use for generating NIL deals. Montana Together is offering athletes at the University of Montana up to $2,400 for their endorsement of Tester in light of “causes you care about.” A track female athlete at UMT who received this offer found it offensive: “I had to ask myself, ‘Why would someone seek my endorsement when their values directly negatively impact me?’ Tester’s vote against the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act is against everything I’ve worked toward as a female athlete. This vote is a gateway to biological men taking away scholarships, medals and roster spots from female athletes.”

  • Trump says he would have government or insurance pay for IVF treatments if elected (The Hill)
  • Ketanji Brown Jackson “concerned” presidential immunity decision was narrowly tailored to protect Trump (National Review)

Security

  • Amnesty halted: U.S. District Court Judge J. Campbell Baker issued a temporary order on Monday blocking the Biden/Harris administration from moving forward with its amnesty program dubbed Keeping Families Together, which would legalize more than 500,000 illegal aliens. The order was in response to a lawsuit raised by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and joined by 15 other states. The lawsuit argues that the Biden/Harris administration’s amnesty program would “irreparably harm” their states by encouraging more illegal immigration. Baker agreed, writing, “The claims are substantial and warrant closer consideration than the court has been able to afford to date.” The administration’s program is little other than a gambit for the Biden/Harris administration to grant mass amnesty to illegal aliens under the guise of looking out for separated families.
  • Biden administration to restart immigration program that was paused over fraud concerns (NBC News)
  • Zelensky floats a Russia-Ukraine peace plan: The wider world long ago grew weary of the ruinous border war between Russia and Ukraine — a war that saw an emboldened Vladimir Putin take Joe Biden up on his stupefying suggestion that a “minor incursion” by Russia would be okay by him. And now, 30 murderous months later, it appears that the belligerents are growing weary as well. As The Washington Post reports: “Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday that this month’s lightning-fast incursion into Russia — where almost 600 Russian soldiers have been captured so far — is part of a larger plan to end the war in his country. … Zelensky said he had no intent to permanently annex the region and will present his plan to President Joe Biden — along with presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump — this fall.” At least Zelensky is hedging his bets, covering his bases.

FEATURED ANALYSIS

The CNN Interview: Harris Finds a Fallback

Douglas Andrews

If we had one word with which to describe yesterday’s CNN interview with Kamala Harris and her chaperone, Tim Walz, it’d be this one: Meh.

We say this because Harris didn’t do anything to disabuse discerning viewers of their belief that she’s a forward-falling empty pantsuit. Nor did she emit any cringeworthy cackles. Nor did she make any major gaffes that might cause the oh-so-narrow sliver of the undecided electorate to disqualify her.

Longtime Republican strategist Alex Castellanos went the mixed-metaphor route to note that Harris had “a month of adulatory media coverage and hiding from the press, but she didn’t quite reach escape velocity [and] never made it across the 50-yard line.”

We knew we were in for a rigged deal from the start. This, after all, was the Thursday before the long Labor Day weekend, and CNN has long been the least-watched of the cable news networks. Furthermore, anchor Dana Bash told us right at the start that we’d be seeing the interview “in its entirety.” But we know the interview lasted an hour, and yet it was over in less than 50 minutes with multiple commercial breaks. Compounding the deception from “The Most Trusted Name in News” was a “LIVE” indicator on its broadcast chyron — you know, the sort of indicator that a news network might use when its coverage is occurring live and unedited as opposed to pre-recorded and tweaked to the satisfaction of its interviewee.

If there was one big takeaway from Harris’s first prolonged exposure to a journalist since “transformative” Joe Biden anointed her more than a month ago, it’s this: Her values haven’t changed. We know because she kept telling us this during the interview. Indeed, it seemed like every time Bash gently pressed Harris on a matter in which she’d flip-flopped, she reflexively said, “My values have not changed.”

But that’s a lie. Unless she can somehow explain how she can go from bragging about prosecuting illegal immigrants when she was California’s attorney general to saying that illegal immigration shouldn’t be criminalized. Unless she can somehow explain how she goes from scoffing at Donald Trump’s vow to build a border wall to saying that she’ll sign the “bipartisan” immigration bill, which includes funds for constructing that very same scoff-worthy border wall.

She’s flip-flopped on the border wall, on the criminalization of illegal border crossings, on the abolition of ICE, on fracking, on offshore drilling, on doing away with private health insurance, on an electric vehicle mandate, and on mandatory gun buybacks confiscation. These are serious issues, serious matters of policy. And she’s opportunistically changed her position on all of them. From left to right. But not her values. She hasn’t changed her values. At least, that’s what the focus groups told her to say. So that’s the fallback we’ll be hearing between now and Election Day.

As the Trump campaign quipped, “Kamala said her values ‘have not changed’ three separate times. She’s still a San Francisco radical.”

Or, as the Wall Street Journal editorial board put it, “We take it as a studied wink to her left flank that she’s on their side but can’t say so clearly until she’s elected.”

In another example of this effort to race away from her radicalism and appeal to the mainstream of the American electorate, Harris said she’ll name a Republican to her cabinet. (Memo to Kamala: Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger aren’t Republicans.)

Bash failed to press Harris on the border catastrophe, and she let her get away with saying, “In this race, I’m the only person who has prosecuted transnational criminal organizations who traffic in guns, drugs, and human beings. I’m the only person in this race who actually served a border state as attorney general to enforce our laws. And I would enforce our laws as president going forward. I recognize the problem.”

If only Bash had followed up: But Madame Vice President, you’re the border czar of the current administration. Why haven’t you been enforcing our immigration laws and securing our border all along?

Harris’s emotional support dog, deployment-dodgingvalor-stealingChiCom-sympathizing Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, was there by her side throughout, and Bash, to her credit, asked him about his, er, misrepresentations of his military record.

CNN prepped these questions with a mini-profile of Walz, describing him not as the Mao hat-wearing, gender-cult radical but as “a folksy father of two from rural America.”

“You said that you carried weapons in war,” said Bash, “but you have never deployed actually in a war zone. A campaign official says that you misspoke. Did you?”

Walz dodged the question, just like he dodged his unit’s deployment to Iraq:

Well, first of all, I’m incredibly proud. I’ve done 24 years of wearin’ uniform of this country. Equally proud of my service in a public school classroom, whether it’s Congress or — or the governor. My record speaks for itself, but I think people are coming to get to know me. I — I speak like they do. I speak candidly. I wear my emotions on my sleeves, and I speak especially passionately about — about our children being shot in schools and around — around guns. So I think people know me. They know who I am. They know where — where my heart is, and again, my record has been out there for over 40 years to — to speak for itself.

In the end, Walz implied that his critics are just a bunch of cheap-shot artists: “If it’s not this, it’s an attack on my children for showing love for me, or it’s an attack on my dog. I’m not gonna do that, and the one thing I’ll never do is I’ll never demean another member’s service in any way. I never have, and I never will.”

Fine, Tim. Don’t demean the service of others. But don’t lie about your own service, mmmkay?

After the interview, former Obama strategist David Axelrod had this to say: “I think she did what she needed to do. What she needed to do was be the same person that people had seen on the stage for the last month. … I think, on the whole, this was a good night. I don’t think she moved the ball that much forward, but she certainly didn’t fall back.”

Like I said: Meh.

CNN’s lone conservative, the amiable Scott Jennings, was more insightful: “She is making it clear that she will embrace and be a continuation of Biden’s economic policy, his record, what they’ve done. She offered no remorse, no regrets, no introspection about anything they’ve done. She continued to blame inflation on this fantasy price-gouging idea. She had no additional thoughts on the economic situation in the country, or what they’ve done beyond just saying, ‘Joe Biden and I have done a great job.’”

How might the Trump team capitalize on Harris’s embrace of her decrepit boss? Jennings continued: “If I were the Trump people, I would be salivating over the idea that that’s how they are going to run the race. I don’t believe it’s tenable.”

We in our humble shop agree that Harris can’t have it both ways. She can’t embrace the current administration while claiming to be the change agent.

It’s one or the other, Kamala. It can’t be both.

SHORT CUTS

Inquiring Minds Want to Know

“More than a month of preparation and negotiations for a single interview on a liberal network — and Kamala Harris can’t handle it by herself? How on earth can she stand up to Putin and Xi? She is dangerously unprepared to be president.” —Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR)

For the Record

“So, the potentially first female president will need a man beside her in a basic television interview. How embarrassing for women everywhere.” —Lisa Boothe

“The Democrats installed as their nominee … the only liberal in America afraid to do a CNN hit.” —Trump senior adviser Stephen Miller

“The media is in on the obfuscation. Harris has refused to give interviews or press conferences since President Joe Biden was forced out of the campaign, and the press has been only too happy to cover for her. The radio silence is a feature, not a bug. Because, in fact, Harris actually has a track record of supporting specific policies.” —Laura Hollis

“We have reached a stage where people passionately express their endorsement for a presidential candidate solely based on their stance on issues such as CRT, abortion and transgenderism — matters that have no direct impact on the prosperity of our nation and its citizens.” —Armstrong Williams

The Bottom Line

“Taxing unrealized gains would tank the economy and spur a massive capital flight out of the US. It would also represent the most significant expansion of government power in more than a century. It is also not constitutional, as the federal government lacks the authority to institute such a tax.” —Florida Governor Ron DeSantis

And Last…

“I wanna live in an America where the media is madder at the President who got 13 service members killed than the President who shows up to mourn them.” —Jimmy Failla

Democrats Consider Replacing Kamala Harris With More Coherent Joe Biden | Babylon Bee

Article Image

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Following the Vice President’s widely criticized pre-taped interview with CNN, reports circulated that the Democrats were considering replacing Kamala Harris with the more coherent Joe Biden.

Harris’s joint interview with running mate Tim Walz was met with poor reviews, with top Democratic officials citing Harris’ inability to provide cogent answers or communicate like a person as reasons why the party should turn to the clarity and coherence of Joe Biden.

“It may be time to consider a more mentally fit candidate,” said one high-ranking Democrat who asked to remain anonymous. “We gave Kamala the good ol’ college try, but she just does not display the same mental capacity and clear communication skills as Joe Biden. We need a candidate who can speak better and answer simple questions from time to time. It’s obvious that Biden fits that bill better than Kamala.”

Voters who were questioned following Harris’s interview agreed. “A president should be able to speak clearly, like, with words that make sense and follow logically from the previous words to form a string of words to communicate an actual thought,” said concerned citizen Dean Stark. “The Democratic Party cannot go into such a pivotal election with a candidate who can’t even do that. The person we have running for president right now has trouble finishing sentences without making up words and spouting gibberish. That’s why we need Joe Biden.”

At publishing time, insiders revealed party leaders had already reached out to Biden’s camp to gauge his interest in running for the office he already holds, though Biden was reportedly concerned that being president may take away from his full-time job vacationing on the beach.

‘Train wreck for Harris’: Kamala is ripped to shreds for ‘word salad’ CNN softball interview as ex-Obama strategist gives brutal verdict ahead of Trump debate showdown

Kamala Harris was last night ripped to shreds for her ‘word salad’ answers in a softball liberal media interview – her first since Joe Biden stepped down 40 days ago.

Is Politifact trustworthy? Is Politifact unbiased? A review of past rulings | WINTERY KNIGHT

Politifact is in the news again for labeling a true claim by J.D. Vance, the Republican candidate for vice president, as “false”. Let’s take a look at this claim, then we’ll see whether Politifact is a fact-checker, or just a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party.

The Media Research Center reports.

Here is Vance’s claim:

“I think it’s pretty weird to try to take children away from their parents if the parents don’t want to consent to sex changes,” Vance said Aug. 7 at a campaign event in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. “That’s something that Tim Walz did.”

As usually, Politifact concedes that the claim is correct – the courts can temporarily remove children from the custody of their parents. But, it’s got to be labeled “false” because this is an election year, and people who have failed at life need a bailout from the taxpayers:

Abels, the LGBTQ-issues “fact checker,” is funded by the Gill Foundation, a radical LGBTQ philanthropy. Last October, she worried out loud about “incarcerated trans people” being denied the “gender-affirming” stuff.

Last May, Tuquero defended Minnesota Democrats when they took expressly anti-pedophile language out of an “anti-discrimination” bill.

Grace Abels is a loser:

Grace Abels joined PolitiFact as a staff writer focused on LGBTQ issues in February 2023. She graduated from Duke University where she studied history and journalism.

Loreben Tuquero is a loser:

Loreben Tuquero is a reporter covering misinformation for PolitiFact. She graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in communication.

These people are losers at life, who have no marketable skills, and just vote Democrat because they want dentists, veterinarians and petroleum engineers to pay off their tens of thousands of dollars in student loans.

This isn’t the first time that Politifact, which is used by all the big social media companies to “fact check” speech, has been caught protecting their favored political party.

Let’s see some examples of past bias.

Arizona Senate Race

Politifact screwed up their fact-check for the Arizona Senate race.

The Daily Caller explains:

PolitiFact incorrectly labeled it “mostly false” that Democratic Senate candidate Kyrsten Sinema “protested troops in a pink tutu” during its live fact-check of the Arizona Senate debate Monday night.

It’s an established fact that Sinema, a former Green Party activist who co-founded an anti-war group, wore a pink tutu at one of the multiple anti-war protests she attended in 2003.

“While we were in harm’s way, she was protesting our troops in a pink tutu,” Republican candidate Martha McSally, a former Air Force fighter pilot, said during Monday night’s debate.

Here’s their Politifact’s evaluation of McSally’s claim:

Who are you going to believe? Politifact, or your own eyes?

Who are you going to believe? Politifact, or your own eyes?

And here’s the photo of Kyrsten Sinema, protesting the troops, in a pink tutu:

The Daily Caller notes:

A 2003 Arizona State University news article at the time described Sinema wearing “something resembling a pink tutu” at one of the protests.

[…]Sinema openly associated with fringe elements of the far-left during her anti-war activism.

She promoted an appearance by Lynne Stewart, a lawyer who was convicted of aiding an Islamic terrorist organization, in 2003.

Sinema also reportedly partnered with anarchists and witches in her anti-war activism and said she did “not care” if Americans wanted to join the Taliban.

And now for the big one: Politifact’s fact-checking of Obamacare.

Obama’s claims about Obamacare

Avik Roy, health care policy expert at Forbes magazine, wrote about Politifact’s assessment of Obama’s promise to Americans about keeping their health plans after Obamacare.

In 2008, before the presidential election, PolitiFact rated Obama’s claims about Obamacare “True”:

Roy writes: (links removed)

On October 9, 2008, Angie Drobnic Holan of PolitiFact published an article using the site’s “Truth-O-Meter” to evaluate this claim: “Under Barack Obama’s health care proposal, ‘if you’ve got a health care plan that you like, you can keep it.’”

And she concluded:

[…]…people who want to keep their current insurance should be able to do that under Obama’s plan. His description of his plan is accurate, and we rate his statement True.”

Roy notes:

PolitiFact’s pronouncements about Obamacare were widely repeated by pro-Obama reporters and pundits, and had a meaningful impact on the outcome of the election. Indeed, in 2009, PolitiFact won the Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the 2008 campaign.

Here’s the screen capture from 2008:

Politifact caught with its pants on fire
Politifact says that everyone who likes their health care plan can keep it

Before the election, it’s true! And Obama got re-elected, because people believed that. But what happened after the election?

In 2013, after the 2012 election, PolitiFact rated Obama’s claims about Obamacare “Pants On Fire”:

Roy writes: (links removed)

On December 12, [2013] the self-appointed guardians of truth and justice at PolitiFact named President Obama’s infamous promise—that “if you like your health care plan, you can keep it”—its 2013 “Lie of the Year.”

[…][N]one of the key facts that made that promise “impossible” in 2008 had changed by 2013. The President’s plan had always required major disruption of the health insurance market; the Obamacare bill contained the key elements of that plan; the Obamacare law did as well. The only thing that had changed was the actual first-hand accounts of millions of Americans who were losing their plans now that Obamacare was live.

And the screen capture from 2013:

Politifact says: we were just kidding! Kidding!
Politifact said one thing before the election, and the opposite afterwards

So when Politifact rates a statement by a Democrat as true, what they really mean is that it’s pants-on-fire-false, but it’s election time so they don’t say that. It’s not like the critical assessments of Obamacare from health policy experts were not out there between 2007-2012. I know, because I blogged on every study and report on the predicted effects of the law that I could find. But the intellectually lazy journalism-major clowns at Politifact couldn’t be bothered to read those studies and reports.

Secular left journalists are the stupidest people on the planet. Stick with reading The Federalist and Daily Wire if you want to know what’s really going on in the world.

Here’s What You Missed in Kamala Harris’ Trainwreck Edited Interview with Chaperone Tim Walz on CNN | The Gateway Pundit

Credit: CNN

In the latest attempt to hoodwink the American public, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz sat down with Dana Bash for what was supposed to be a transparent interview about their policies and plans if Harris were to ascend to the presidency.

Instead, what unfolded was a masterclass in political double-speak, half-truths, and outright lies, all carefully curated to mislead voters.

Kamala Harris made it clear during the interview that she has no intention of moderating her extreme positions. When asked if her values had changed, she proudly declared, “My values have not changed.” And that’s exactly the problem.

Harris’s values include support for mass amnesty for illegal immigrants, ending cash bail for criminals, decriminalizing illegal border crossings, banning fracking, and even abolishing private health insurance.

One of the most blatant lies Harris told during the interview was regarding her stance on fracking. She claims she won’t ban fracking, despite having enthusiastically supported such a ban in the past.

The hypocrisy is staggering. What changed, Kamala? The polls? Or was it the reality that banning fracking would devastate key swing states like Pennsylvania?

Dana Bash: I want to get some clarity on where you stand on some key policy issues. Energy is a big one. When you were in Congress, you supported the Green New Deal. In 2019, you said, “There is no question I’m in favor of banning fracking.” Fracking, as you know, is a pretty big issue, particularly in your must-win state of Pennsylvania. Do you still want to ban fracking?

Kamala Harris:  No, and I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020, that I would not ban fracking. As Vice President, I did not ban fracking. As President, I will not ban fracking.

Dana Bash: In 2019, I believe, at a town hall, you were asked, “Would you commit to implementing a federal ban on fracking on your first day in office?” and you said, “There’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking. So yes.” So it changed in that campaign?

Kamala Harris: In 2020, I made very clear where I stand. We are in 2024, and I’ve not changed that position, nor will I going forward. I kept my word, and I will keep my word.

Dana Bash: What made you change that position at the time?

Kamala Harris: Well, let’s be clear. My values have not changed. I believe it is very important that we take seriously what we must do to guard against what is a clear crisis in terms of the climate.

And to do that, we can do what we have accomplished thus far, the Inflation Reduction Act, what we have done to invest by my calculation, over probably a trillion dollars over the next 10 years, investing in a clean energy economy.

What we’ve already done, creating over 300,000 new clean energy jobs. That tells me, from my experience as Vice President, we can do it without banning fracking. In fact, Dana, excuse me, I cast the tie-breaking vote that actually increased leases for fracking as Vice President. So I’m very clear about where I stand.

In one of the more absurd moments of the interview, Harris tried to paint the economic disaster of “Bidenomics” as a success.

Bash pointed out that many Americans remember better economic times under President Trump when groceries were cheaper, and housing was more affordable. Harris, rather than addressing these concerns head-on, deflected by blaming the pandemic and Trump’s management of it.

She claimed that the Biden-Harris regime had brought inflation “down” to a higher level than it was when they took office.

This is simply not true. Inflation was 1.4% when President Trump left office, and it hasn’t been back to that level since Harris and Biden have been in power. The worst inflation crisis in over three decades has cost American families thousands of dollars in increased living costs, and Harris’s response was nothing short of insulting.

Dana Bash: You talked about, you call it the opportunity economy. You are well aware that right now many Americans are struggling. There’s a crisis of affordability. One of your campaign themes is “We’re not going back.” But I wonder what you say to voters who do want to go back when it comes to the economy, specifically because their groceries were less expensive and housing was more affordable when Donald Trump was President.

Kamala Harris: Well, let’s start with the fact that when Joe Biden and I came into office, it was during the height of a pandemic. We saw over 10 million jobs were lost… The economy had crashed, in large part, all of that because of mismanagement by Donald Trump of that crisis. When we came in, our highest priority was to do what we could to rescue America. And today, we know that we have inflation at under 3%.

Dana Bash: So you have been Vice President for three and a half years. The steps that you’re talking about now, why haven’t you done them already?

Kamala Harris: Well, first of all, we had to recover as an economy, and we have done that. I’m very proud of the work that we have done that has brought inflation down to less than 3%.

On immigration, Kamala insisted that the record number of illegal border crossings during her tenure had somehow “resulted in a number of benefits.” Benefits for whom, exactly? Certainly not for the American citizens who are footing the bill.

U.S. taxpayers spent $150 billion on illegals last year thanks to Kamala‘s open border.

During their administration, illegal immigrants crossing the border are at a record high.

Dana Bash: Why did the Biden-Harris administration wait three and a half years to implement sweeping asylum restrictions?

Kamala Harris:  Well, first of all, the root causes work that I did as Vice President that I was asked to do by the President has actually resulted in a number of benefits, including historic investments by American businesses in that region. The number of immigrants coming from that region has actually reduced since we began that work.

But I will say this, that Joe Biden and I, in our administration, worked with members of the United States Congress on an immigration issue that is very significant to the American people and to our security, which is the border.

And through bipartisan work, including some of the most conservative members of the United States Congress, a bill was crafted, which we supported, which I support. And Donald Trump got word of this bill that would have contributed to securing our border. And because he believes that it would not have helped him politically, he told his folks in Congress, “Don’t put it forward.” He killed the bill.

Kamala Harris: That bill would have allowed us to increase seizures of fentanyl. Ask any community in America that has been devastated by fentanyl, what passing that bill would have done to address their concern and the pain that they’ve experienced.

Dana Bash: So you would push that legislation again?

Kamala Harris: I just want to ask about— Not only push it, I will make sure that it comes to my desk and I would sign it.

When questioned about whether she would legalize illegal border crossings, Kamala dodged the question.

Dana Bash: When you first ran, there was a debate. You raised your hand when asked whether or not the border should be decriminalized. Do you still believe that?

Kamala Harris: I believe there should be consequences. We have laws that have to be followed and enforced that address and deal with people who cross our border illegally, and there should be consequences.

And let’s be clear, in this race, I’m the only person who has prosecuted transnational criminal organizations who are trafficking guns, drugs, and human beings. I’m the only person in this race who actually served a border state as Attorney General to enforce our laws, and I would enforce laws as President going forward. I recognize the problem.

Bash confronted Kamala with Trump’s accusation of “turning black” for “political purposes.” Kamala deflected, claiming Trump was “recycling the same old tired playbook” before quickly adding, “Next question, please.”

Kamala admitted she has NO REGRETS about covering up Biden’s cognitive decline.

Kamala’s willingness to lie to the American public and conceal the truth about Biden’s fitness for office is a betrayal of her oath of office and a disqualifying act of deception.

She then urged Americans to “turn the page on the last decade of what has been contrary to where the spirit of our country really lies,” conveniently ignoring that a significant portion of that decade was shaped by her and Biden’s policies.

Dana Bash: Vice President Harris, you were a very staunch defender of President Biden’s capacity to serve another four years. Right after the debate, you insisted that President Biden is extraordinarily strong. Given where we are now, do you have any regrets about what you told the American people?

Kamala Harris: No, not at all. Not at all… And so, one, I am so proud to have served as Vice President to Joe Biden. And two, I am so proud to be running with Tim Walz for President of the United States, and to bring America what I believe the American people deserve, which is a new way forward, and to turn the page on the last decade of what I believe has been contrary to where the spirit of our country really lies.

Dana Bash: But the last decade, of course, the last three and a half years has been part of your administration.

Kamala Harris: I’m talking about an era that started about a decade ago.

Throughout the interview, what was glaringly absent was any acknowledgment of the mess Harris and Biden have created or any substantive plan to repair the damage. Instead, we were treated to a parade of lies, evasions, and a steadfast refusal to take responsibility.

Pesky Contradictions | Study – Grow – Know

Listen to this article

Most are aware that the globalists seem to want us to eat bugs and fake meat. Growing fake meat in the lab uses far more energy than slaughtering an actual cow and cooking the meat from it. But why be bothered with facts like this?

Also interesting is the idea that many bugs are simply not good for humans to eat. In some cases, in emergency situations, eating a few bugs here or there can provide protein and keep people alive (if stranded while hiking, etc.). But in general, most bugs are simply not good for humans to consume because God made us to eat other things that are better suited to our systems.

We have chickens and they are free-range. Any food we do provide is normally organic. Why? Because we eat our chickens’ eggs, and we can clearly tell the difference between their eggs and the eggs often available in stores and even restaurants.

As part of our chickens’ food supply, we will often provide them with mealworms. These are freeze-dried worms that aren’t messy and offer a good amount of protein, which chickens need to create eggs roughly every 36 hours.

When we toss mealworms to our chickens, they go crazy for them. They absolutely love them. But notice on the image shown in the second paragraph from the bottom clearly states, “NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION – NOT INTENDED AS A SOLE SOURCE OF NUTRITION.”

So, the warning on the label itself tells us two things about mealworms. First, humans should not eat them. Second, this should not be the only thing given to chickens because they need a variety of feed.

Yet, globalists want human beings to eat bugs. Oh, we can eat lab grown meat as well, but only if our ESG score is good enough. There are a plethora of problems with lab grown meat that others have already pointed out so I won’t go into the same details. Suffice it to say that eating lab grown meat is not healthy for people. Despite the huge amount of money being poured into that industry to create fake meat, people simply aren’t interested and who can blame them? I’m certainly not interested in eating anything that came out of a lab.

Maybe it’s all smoke screens and illusions because quite frankly, I’m growing more and more convinced that globalists want millions and millions of people to just die. They say they want us to eat this, that or the other thing. But they also state that this world has way too many people living on it and a huge portion of the population needs to be culled. How will this be accomplished?

Well, there are a variety of ways. Wars will help. A severe shortage of food will push things forward. More “pandemics” requiring more “vaccines” will also do the trick. Of course, we cannot forget about abortion with more and more politicians stating that abortion should be available up to (and in some cases even after), birth.

So, things don’t really add up. On one hand, globalists say they want us to eat bugs, enjoy a universal basic income and just be happy as we own nothing (they plan on taking it all). Certainly, seems as though they want us (or some of us), to continue living, doesn’t it? Yet, on the other hand, they push abortion, killer jabs, increasing robots and AI to take over the work of many people who currently work now. All of this means that human beings are arriving at the point where globalists believe most of us are not needed at all.

To simply gain a better mental picture of what they envision, all we need to do is look at Revelation 6 and following where we see specific judgments being poured out starting with Seal 1 and going from there and the result of those judgments. By the time we arrive to the 5th seal of Revelation 6, there are obviously tons of people who have been martyred. This chapter is filled with destruction and death. I’ve always thought that God precipitated these judgments (and that could still be the case), but now I wonder if He simply doesn’t choose to use situations created by humanity to use as His judgments?

In Revelation 7, we read about the sealing of the 144,000 and following that, we see multitudes more people who were killed during the Tribulation but were now standing before the throne of God. From Revelation 6 to 18, there are billions of people slaughtered from the earth. A quarter of the earth here, another quarter there, half there. It seems endless but it does have an end.

So my point is that God appears, at least in some cases, to use situations created by globalists as His arm of judgment. This is nothing new as He constantly used neighboring nations in ancient history as judgment against Israel or other nations. It all seems less than supernatural when all is said and done. Consider all the wars in the Middle East (using Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylonian armies as our starting point). In many cases, these armies – whether they went up against Israel or some other nation – left countless dead in their wake.

The difference between then and today is that many of the judgments God chooses to use during the Tribulation involve water, food (or lack of it), the atmosphere including the sun and stars and much more. In each of these situations, these things could happen because of what globalists and terrorists are doing now.

Just read an article this morning that talked about the fact that it used to cost about $1300 to bring one shipping container from the far east to America. However, since the Houthis have mounted constant attacks on the ships traveling across the Black Sea, forcing ships to go all the way around the horn of Africa, that same container now costs nearly $6000. This is an astronomical increase that most people are not prepared to absorb. In fact, experts are saying that if this continues, it will create much higher prices than we are currently paying at stores.

Will this situation also create a tremendous food shortage resulting in famine? Getting back to Revelation 6, we seem to learn the answer. In 6:1, the rider on a white horse rides across the earth. Is this a real horse with a real rider? I doubt it, at least not in this realm, though that rider could certainly ride across the earth in the spiritual realm. In any case, this rider has a crown and goes out conquering.

In 6:2, we learn that a fiery red horse and rider gallop across the globe removing peace from the earth, which results in massive situations with people killing one another. Then in 6:5-6, we learn of a black rider who rides out holding scales. One of the four living creatures calls out, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!” This is a clear and obvious reference to extremely high prices and the shortage of food, which will drive prices way up for any food that is available. The wealthy elite will be the only ones who can buy the more expensive things like bread and wine.

Revelation 6:7 introduces the next rider on a pale horse. Death and Hades follows him and millions on the planet will die. In fact, the text tells us they will have “…power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.” So essentially, if this happened today with a world of 8 billion people, approximately 2,000,000,000 (2 billion), would be killed or one fourth. That’s huge! Imagine how the globalists will celebrate.

There is much more death coming up as well. There is even a point in which the “kings of the earth” (politicians? globalists? both?), come to understand that all of this is due to the wrath of the Lamb but instead of repenting, they hide in the rocks and caves and actually want to be concealed by the caves (bunkers?) they are hiding in (6:15-17).

My overall point again is wondering whether God chooses to simply use situations created by people like Bill Gates (with his vaccine-transferring mosquitos and attempts to darken the sun), to bring about His judgments on the earth? I think it’s very possible because this is very much in line with how God has done things throughout His Word in the past.

However, God is not above using specific divine intervention that can only be attributed to Him to bring His judgments to this earth. This was the case with King Hezekiah in Isaiah 37:36-38, where God fought for Israel without Israel having to lift a finger and overnight, God killed 185,000 troops from the Assyrian army led by Sennacherib. This was also God’s judgment but interestingly enough, God was going to allow Assyria to overcome Israel for her sins, if not for King Hezekiah and his prayer to God. God relented and stepped into deal with the army He had originally brought to Israel to conquer.

The first part of the Tribulation begins with what could be man-made situations that God uses for His arm of judgment. Other portions of the Tribulation seem to point to God and God alone creating unique situations to terrorize and judge the people of the earth. One such example is the release of the demons from the pit. These are described as “locusts” in Revelation 9, but it seems clear that they are currently imprisoned demons that Peter (2 Peter 2:4) and Jude (Jude 1:7), could be referring to. They did something so atrocious that God simply quarantined them in the pit until this future point of the Tribulation (cf Genesis 6:4-5).

Going back to what I was saying earlier, could it be that part of the tremendous famine this world will experience will be the result of what globalists are doing now by messing with the food system in order to deliberately create shortages? We don’t know for certain of course, but to me, it seems very logical that what globalists are trying to create now, will be used by God as part of His judgment that comes later during the Tribulation.

VP Harris shredded for claiming ‘my values have not changed’ amid policy flip-flops: ‘Still a radical’ | FOX news

Vice President Kamala Harris faced mockery online Thursday for telling CNN that despite flip-flopping on policy, her “values have not changed.”

In her first sit-down interview as a presidential candidate, with her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz by her side, Harris was asked to explain her many major policy shifts.

“Generally speaking, how should voters look at some of the changes that you’ve made?” CNN host Dana Bash asked Harris. “Is it because you have more experience now, and you’ve learned more about the information? Is it because you were running for president in a Democratic primary? And should they feel comfortable and confident that what you’re saying now is going to be your policy moving forward?”

“I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed,” Harris told the news host. “You mentioned the Green New Deal. I have always believed, and I have worked on it, that the climate crisis is real, that it is an urgent matter to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time. We did that with the Inflation Reduction Act.”

VP HARRIS MOCKED FOR BEING ‘TOO SCARED’ TO DO INTERVIEW WITHOUT WALZ: ‘SHE SIMPLY CANNOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED’

TRUMP CAMPAIGN TROLLS HARRIS, RELEASES POLICY WEBSITE FOR HER AFTER WEEKS OF SILENCE

“We have set goals for the United States of America, and by extension, the globe, around when we should meet certain standards for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions,” Harris continued.

“That value has not changed. My value around what we need to do to secure our border, that value has not changed. I spent two terms as the Attorney General of California prosecuting transnational criminal organizations, violations of American laws regarding the passage, illegal passage, of guns, drugs and human beings across our border. My values have not changed,” she said.

Many online commentators argued that Harris’ claim she retains the same values means she is as radical as she was in 2019 while trying to act moderate to win the election.

Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kans., said, “Kamala Harris’ San Francisco progressive values have not, and will not ever change. A zebra doesn’t change its stripes.”

“Kamala didn’t even remotely pretend she was explaining why the things she pretended to believe when running in 2020 are now things she pretends she no longer believes,” independent journalist Glenn Greenwald declared. “And from all appearances, there was zero attempt to insist an on answer. They picked Dana Bash for a reason.”

Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist Victor Joecks suggested that “When @KamalaHarris says, ‘My values have not changed,’ what she means is ‘I’m only pretending to moderate to win the election.’”

“Kamala Harris is STILL a radical San Francisco liberal!” Gilmartin Strategies president Chad Gilmartin proclaimed.

Former Trump campaign adviser Steve Cortes responded, “Wow. Kamala Harris says she stands by every single radical policy position she’s ever held.”

“KAMALA HARRIS IN HER OWN WORDS: ’My values have not changed,’” conservative commentator Vince Dao wrote. “So yes, EVERY 2020 policy she has proposed is fair game in the 2024 Election. ”

Conservative social media strategist Chuck Callesto said, “Kamala Harris reminds everyone that she will vote radically as always.. ‘MY VALUES HAVE NOT CHANGED.’”

Breitbart’s senior editor-at-large Joel Pollak suggested Harris’ statement ultimately translates to “So, not ‘moderating’ her radical left views.”

CNN’S DANA BASH SNAGS HARRIS-WALZ INTERVIEW, HAS HISTORY OF RIPPING TRUMP

Other commentators focused more on the interview itself, arguing it was a textbook case of a news personality offering leading questions to a candidate.

“Incredible to watch Bash offer a complete softball question and then offer Harris different options in how to answer it,” Power the Future spokesman Larry Behrens noted. “It’s the pathetic setup we all knew it would be.”

Author and news contributor Andy McCarthy scorched the CNN interviewer, “In a courtroom, I’d object: Leading the witness!”

“This doesn’t bode well for the rest of the interview,” Washington Free Beacon investigative reporter Chuck Ross said. “Dana Bash poses a softball question to Harris about her shifting stance on issues, rather than directly pointing out and quoting her flip flops on border, fracking, etc.”

Conservative columnist T. Becket Adams jokingly parodied the interview: “Dana Bash: ‘Why have you [insert euphemism for flip-flop]? Is it because you are more wonderful now than you were then?’” he quipped. “Kamala Harris: ‘Time is a subject in which we believe we are the holders, holding time to events such that we know what time it is.’”

ELON MUSK CALLS OUT VP HARRIS FOR OLD POST SAYING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AREN’T CRIMINALS

Other commentators argued that all things considered, Harris struggles to express herself well in unscripted media appearances.

“Giving up the cover. This is why she won’t talk to reporters!” Glenn Jacobs, otherwise known as WWE legend Kane, said as he mocked Harris online.

DC Examiner editor Kaylee McGhee White derided the interview as one that went “terribly” for the vice president. “Even with Dana Bash trying to set Harris up with an easy excuse, this comes across terribly for Harris. Her campaign literally just claimed it doesn’t support EV mandates, and here she is acknowledging she supports the timelines laid out by those mandates. Yikes.”

“This interview will leave vulnerable House Democrats longing for the Biden post-debate days,” NRCC national press secretary Will Reinert joked.

In one salient example of Harris’ policy flip-flops, a recent campaign ad featured the Trump-era border wall, the very same wall she previously condemned as “un-American.”

Fracking is another prominent example, as Harris’ campaign announced last month that the vice president did not support a ban on the oil extraction technique that enjoys broad support in battleground states like Pennsylvania. That position, however, is the opposite of her remarks as a primary candidate during a 2019 CNN town hall event, when Harris said there is “no question I’m in favor of banning fracking.”

Harris has also distanced herself from “Medicare for All” and semiautomatic rifle buyback programs, after publicly touting both programs during her failed primary campaign during the 2020 cycle.

The Situation Within Kamala Harris’ ‘Frankenstein’ Campaign Is Not as Rosy as it May Seem: Report | The Gateway Pundit

Reams of media happy talk about the presidential campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris mask growing tensions among her aides, according to a new report.

Tension is nothing new to a Harris-led organization. Her tenure as vice president was marked by high staff turnover amid frustrations concerning the work environment in her office.

In 2019, an Op-Ed from a man whose son worked briefly as an intern for Harris when she was California’s attorney general indicated her office had a woeful employee culture.

The writer said his son was shocked to learn Harris demanded her staff address her as “general” and that he was not allowed to look Harris in the eye.

With that as the background, a new report from Axios says the Harris campaign “has become a diffuse ‘Frankenstein’ team with multiple power centers.”

The report, based on sources Axios did not name, said that the Harris campaign is a mix of her own staff, people who worked on the defunct re-election campaign of President Joe Biden, and staff members from the orbit of former President Barack Obama.

“The entanglement of these different entities has led to many people feeling a real lack of role clarity,” one person in the campaign said.

Some tensions are holdovers from antagonisms that festered among Biden loyalists who resented what they saw as the tactics used by Obama and his base to sideline Biden.

“I’ve talked to 100 Biden people — House members, senators and fundraisers — who think he got totally screwed. It was unfair, unwise and unjust. And those people who did it will not have this moment in history reflect well on their own behavior,” a Biden fundraiser told NBC.

The Axios report indicated that aides focused on connecting with the mainstream of America are irked at being forced to defend Harris’s positions on far-left progressive issues such as her support for Medicare for All and her calls to ban fracking.

Although Harris backers claim her positions helped elect Biden in 2020, Biden backers see vindication as Harris walks back her far-left positions in a bid to court more conservative Democrats.

Earlier this month, Politico reported that some Harris supporters were anxious to jettison Biden supporters who they felt denigrated Harris before she became the nominee.

Politico also noted that Harris does not have a track record of controlling internal strife.

“Harris built a chaotic operation in her 2020 presidential primary campaign that she allowed to fester, causing bottlenecks and radiating dysfunction across her organization,” the Politico report noted.
