There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
There is an active attempt being made by our culture to redefine God, who he is and what he’s declared. For example, how many times have we heard from politicians that a person can be religious and still be pro-choice or that we can be pro-LGBTQ and still honor God. All of this points to the idea that rather than recognize that man is made in the image of God, we’re trying to make God in our image and to follow our way of thinking.
In response, there’s a new book that’s been released called, The Eclipse of God by Dr. Erwin Lutzer, subtitled, “Our nation’s disastrous search for a more inclusive deity (and what we must do about it.)” Dr. Lutzer notes that just as the moon obscures the sun’s light during an eclipse, today’s radical secularism has obscured the light of God. The solution, as the book communicates, is to help readers see that first and foremost the church must return to God. We must renew our understanding of His sovereignty and holiness. Dr. Lutzer reminds us that the culture war has come to us; we didn’t seek it, but win or lose, we must stand against it without losing our testimony for the gospel.
Dr. Erwin Lutzer is pastor Emeritus of The Moody Church where he served as the senior pastor for 36 years. He is an award-winning author of many books including, We Will Not Be Silenced. He’s the featured speaker on radio programs heard on more than 750 outlets worldwide.
So as you listen to this broadcast, you’ll hear Dr. Lutzer discuss a number of points from various chapters. One involves the 3 historic grave-diggers of God:
Karl Marx and his attempt to destroy God and raise up the state.
Charles Darwin and his attack on God as Creator.
Sigmund Freud and the attack on God as law-giver.
Overall, here are the objectives of this book:
1.–To better understand the intellectual roots of this present darkness.
2.–To rejoice that God is sovereign and stands ready to give us the blessing of His presence, no matter our predicament.
3.–To remind us that only a repentant and submissive church can shine the light of the gospel with confidence and strength
Each chapter concludes with “The Lessons for Us,” “Our Declaration of Dependence” and “Action Steps.”

Song of Solomon 5:1 — Solomon is enjoying fully the gift of intimacy without guilt and shame (Nelson, pg. 103).
Song of Solomon 5:2-3 — According to Nelson, this is a new event in the relationship. Solomon’s wife is in bed, but he is home late. His wife is in bed and upset (Nelson, pg. 110).
Song of Solomon 5:4-6 — By the time his new wife gets to the door to let him in, Solomon leaves upset (Nelson, pg. 111).
Song of Solomon 5:7 — The watchmen are much rougher than in Song of Solomon 3:3. If your beloved is so special, why is he gone?
Song of Solomon 5:10-16 — The wife responds by sharing why she loves her husband, renewing the lost affection.
Song of Solomon 6:3 — A great summary of the marriage relationship – “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine.” There is no “you” and “me,” just “us” (Nelson, pg. 129)!
Song of Solomon 6:4-7 —
Rather than displaying silence in expectation of an apology or an angry response, Solomon greeted his bride with genuine compliments, telling her essentially, “You are as lovely as I remember you on our wedding night, and I respect you fully as my wife. You are my delight (Tirzah) and my soul’s refuge of peace (Jerusalem).
Nelson, pg. 145
He was forgiving his bride even before she had a chance to ask for forgiveness.

Song of Solomon 7:1-2 —
Solomon complimented what he alone knew to be true about his wife. Wives in Solomon’s time didn’t wear bikinis to the beach.

2 Corinthians 9:15 — No matter how much you give, you can never outgive the LORD!
Psalm 51:3 — As Ron Hamilton shares in his song based on this verse, “My Sin Is Ever Before Me!”
Psalm 51:16 — We’ve read this before and will read this again: God doesn’t want sacrifice as much as He wants obedience; if we fail at that, He wants contrition.

And he said, Thus saith the Lord, Make this valley full of ditches. For thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts. (2 Kings 3:16-17)
Three armies were perishing of thirst, and the Lord interposed. Although He sent neither cloud nor rain, yet He supplied an abundance of water. He is not dependent upon ordinary methods but can surprise His people with novelties of wisdom and power. Thus are we made to see more of God than ordinary processes could have revealed. Although the Lord may not appear for us in the way we expect, or desire, or suppose, yet He will in some way or other provide for us. It is a great blessing for us to be raised above looking to secondary causes so that we may gaze into the face of the great First Cause.
Have we this day grace enough to make trenches into which the divine blessing may flow? Alas! We too often fail in the exhibition of true and practical faith. Let us this day be on the outlook for answers to prayer. As the child who went to a meeting to pray for rain took an umbrella with her, so let us truly and practically expect the Lord to bless us. Let us make the valley full of ditches and expect to see them all filled.

They are highly recommended resources for the student of the Bible. In this edition of Stand Up, we get to the nuts and bolts of our bright future with the Lord – eternity. We discuss what it is, who goes there, and what happens after the Tribulation period. What is the timeline for the resurrections of the dead? The Millennium? The New Heavens and New Earth, and why there needs to be such things? Many Americans really don’t know what is coming on the earth, and even those who claim to be Christians often have bad information on what happens when we die and who goes to heaven or hell – and whether such places even exist! Are our dead relatives watching over us? Today’s podcast is a bit of a myth-busters hour – and knowing what we believe about eternal things is very important.
Have You Heard About The “Ring Of Fire” Rosh Hashanah Eclipse That Is Coming In October? Why do solar eclipses keep falling on such noteworthy dates? In 2024, there will be a total of just 2 solar eclipses. The first happened on April 8th, 2024. That was known as the “Great American Eclipse of 2024”, and it occurred just after the sun had gone down in Israel and the first day of the first month on the Hebrew calendar had begun. The second solar eclipse of 2024 will take place on October 2nd. When it occurs, the sun will have just gone down in Israel and the festival of Rosh Hashanah will have just started.
The Ground Is “Moving” So Rapidly In One Part Of Southern California That A “State Of Emergency” Has Been Declared If the ground under your feet is moving “up to 10 inches a week”, that might be a sign that it is time to relocate. What is currently taking place in Rancho Palos Verdes is perhaps the most extreme example of the geophysical instability that is plaguing much of the state of California at this point. Rancho Palos Verdes is about 30 miles away from downtown Los Angeles, and the constant “land movement” in that community is busting gas lines, causing homes to sink, and creating enormous cracks in the roads. If you were to walk through Rancho Palos Verdes right now, you would see that it currently looks like something out of a science fiction movie.
Royal Society underestimates the cost of UK’s “Net Zero” by £500 billion The Royal Society has made a schoolboy error in its report published last year. The society estimated that the cost of building a “Net Zero” grid in 2040 would be £410 billion. However, as Net Zero Watch points out, assuming the best-case scenario, the Net Zero grid will cost at least £38 billion per year to build, which totals to around £960 billion – £550 billion more than the Royal Society has calculated.
The science is in. Climate alarmism can end. Since 1959 increases in atmospheric CO2 is due to sea surface temperature Last month, Japanese researcher Dai Ato published a study that examined the relationship between atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO₂) levels and human emissions, with sea surface temperature as a key factor. The findings reject the theory that human-caused emissions are the primary driver of atmospheric CO₂ increase. Instead, the study concludes that sea surface temperature plays a dominant role in regulating CO₂ levels and no human impact is observed.
Dutch overwhelming say “no” to another covid injection Algemeen Dagblad (“AD”) is a Dutch daily newspaper based in Rotterdam. In the comments section under the article is what is essentially a list of a variety of vaccine injuries suffered by numerous people. What’s notable is that, so far, the outlet has not yet censored the comments that do not follow the prescribed narrative. And the negative but very real responses are still coming in.

Hunter Biden’s criminal tax trial begins with jury selection in California (Fox News)
Russia election interference déjà vu: When will these people learn? We ask this rhetorically because the answer is likely “Never.” As a case in point, the Biden/Harris Justice Department, led by corrupt Attorney General Merrick Garland, announced yesterday that those dastardly Ruskies are once again working feverishly to fix an American presidential election. “We will be relentlessly aggressive in countering and disrupting attempts by Russia, and Iran, as well as China,” said Garland. Forgive us if we’re a bit jaded. After all, as independent journalist and Twitter Files coauthor Michael Shellenberger said, “We have this record of the Department of Justice running Russian disinformation hoaxes twice, not once. The first time claiming that the Russians favored Trump when we now know that they favored Clinton, and then the second time, the Hunter Biden laptop, where we now know that the FBI ran a disinformation effort to make people think that it was about the Russians.” Shellenberger added, “Nobody should trust blindly the Department of Justice when it says anything about Russia.” Or, as The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway puts it, “The government doing the most meddling in our elections is our own.”
What’s Kamala’s position on reparations? So much attention has been paid to Kamala Harris’s spectacular flip-flops on issues such as fracking and Donald Trump’s border wall that many Americans are unaware of an even more insidious and unpopular policy position she holds on reparations for the descendants of slavery. Never mind that black Americans have been receiving reparations for decades under the guise of Affirmative Action and countless social welfare programs. Harris wants the whole enchilada, even if she’s refusing to say so. “When I am elected president, I will sign that bill,” said then-Senator Kamala Harris to Al Sharpton in 2019. And remember what she repeatedly told us last week: “My values haven’t changed.” Harris’s values may not have changed, but neither has her strategy of avoiding the media and refusing to take policy positions. “No policy platform on her website and now just straight-up refusing to say where she stands on issues,” posted Abigail Jackson, the comms director for Republican Senator Josh Hawley. “Very normal behavior.”
Capital gains bait and switch: Democrats rarely see a tax increase they don’t like, but paying taxes isn’t exactly popular, so Democrats play the “paying their fair share” game to sell tax hikes supposedly only on wealthy Americans. In truth, everyone ends up paying more. Joe Biden’s budget proposal calls for not only raising the taxation rate on capital gains to a level not seen since 1978 but also taxing Americans’ unrealized capital gains. Of course, doing so would harm investment, which would, in turn, hamper the growth of new business and limit job growth. In short, it’s a recipe for economic stagnation. Kamala Harris, who is just as tax-happy as any Democrat, has sought to blunt the negative response toward Biden’s tax proposals by trotting out a tax plan that is the same but less. She would raise the capital gains tax, but not as high as Biden. Furthermore, she would change the rules to also tax unrealized capital gains, but again at a lower rate than Biden. And to put lipstick on this ugly tax-increase pig, Harris proposes expanding the small business startup-expense deduction to $50,000 from the current amount of $5,000. Less of a bad idea is still a bad idea.
Carville to Kamala: run away from Biden: Kamala Harris has enjoyed the longest honeymoon in the history of American presidential politics, but longtime Democrat strategist James Carville knows it can’t last forever. That’s why Corporal Cue Ball has taken to the op-ed page of The New York Times to give her three pieces of advice. In brief: “1. Help Mr. Trump hurt himself in the debate(s). … 2. Break from President Biden on policy. … 3. Display a clear growth mind-set from the 2020 Democratic primaries.” Carville’s first point was dealt a blow recently when ABC said it would mute the two candidates’ mics between responses. This will make it harder for Trump to interrupt her and, therefore, harder for her to repeatedly interject Excuse me, but I’m speaking, as she did with Mike Pence during their 2020 debate. As for running from Biden, that seems like a no-brainer. As Carville notes: “Since the early 1990s, political history has shown us that when a popular incumbent president is not on the ballot, we have a de facto change election. … 2024 will be won by who is fresh and who is rotten. It’s quite simple: The shepherd of tomorrow wins the sheep.” Rotten Kamala. Has a nice ring to it.
Tim Walz’s family supports Trump: Kamala Harris’s running mate, Minnesota Democrat Governor Tim Walz, must be the black sheep of the family when it comes to his political views. Not only has Walz’s older brother Jeff recently expressed opposition to his election bid, but now his extended family members in his home state of Nebraska have come out publicly in support of Donald Trump. A photo posted on X by Nebraska gubernatorial candidate Charles W. Herbster depicts eight members of the Walz family standing in front of a Trump 2024 flag, smiling broadly and wearing (grammatically challenged) T-shirts that read “Walz’s for Trump.” In his posting of the photo, Herbster writes, “Tim Walz’s family back in Nebraska wants you to know something…” All we can say is someone is likely not showing up for Thanksgiving dinner this year.

What’s with CNN and that non-live “live” interview with Harris? In a way, it was only natural that Kamala Harris would opt for CNN to air her first interview since being undemocratically selected as the Democrats’ nominee. After all, she’s a fake candidate, and CNN is a fake news network. While Harris got through the interview without any catastrophic gaffes, she didn’t do herself any favors for transparency or authenticity, and CNN didn’t help her case. As the Washington Examiner’s Christopher Tremoglie writes, “Largely promoted as Harris’s first sit-down interview with a member of the media, which she, oddly, did alongside Walz, it was little more than a prerecorded, propagandized conversation, obsequious agitprop, rather than a legitimate interview. And even though the interview was prerecorded, CNN still branded it as ‘live’ during the telecast.” Indeed, the word “live” was right there on the chyron along the bottom of the screen. They must think the American people are idiots. Or at least that the voters they’re courting are.

“From the river to the sea” not hate speech, decrees Facebook: The genocidal anti-Semitic slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” chanted by pro-Hamas protesters is not considered “hate speech” by Meta, Facebook’s parent company. An “independent” Oversight Board for Meta on Wednesday concluded that Facebook users posting the slogan on the social media platform were not in violation of the company’s rules against “hate speech.” This decision comes following Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitting last week that his company caved to the Biden administration’s pressure to censor certain speech on Facebook. According to the board, the rationale for not penalizing three cases in which Facebook users posted the anti-Semitic slogan is that “the three pieces of content contain contextual signals of solidarity with Palestinians” and not calls to violence against Jews. The board further argued, “Because the phrase does not have a single meaning, a blanket ban on content that includes the phrase, a default rule towards removal of such content, or even using it as a signal to trigger enforcement or review, would hinder protected political speech in unacceptable ways.” Suddenly, context matters to Meta — at least when it comes to the promulgation of radical leftist ideology.

Job openings fall: The number of U.S. job openings has fallen to its lowest level in three and a half years. July’s numbers saw a decrease of 237,000 job openings to a total of 7.673 million jobs available, the lowest number since January 2021. Furthermore, the total number of job openings reported in June was revised down by the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics to a total of 7.910 million. (What is it with these downward revisions?) There is also a question of just how strong consumer spending was in July, as the headline unemployment rate rose to a near three-year high of 4.3%. Questions remain as to the impact of the massive influx of illegal immigration on the overall job market and, specifically, the rising unemployment rate.

In our morning editors call yesterday, we discussed the media publication of journals maintained by the Covenant School assailant. In that conversation, we discussed the fact that there had not been a mass shooting on a campus in more than a year. We were concerned that rekindling publicity around the Nashville assault could well trigger some “copycat” sociopath to commit another school shooting.
There are several primary aspects of any murder, particularly a high-profile murder on a campus, which should have been secured against such an attack.
The most important concern is for the victims and their families. The two deceased students were 14-year-old Mason Schermerhorn and 14-year-old Christian Angulo, and the adult victims were Richard Aspinwall, 39, and Christina Irimie, 53. There were also others with injuries that were not life-threatening. The immediate trauma and long-term suffering endured by the families and friends of murder victims is incomprehensible. These victims left their respective families and homes Wednesday morning for a routine day at school with colleagues and friends and will never return home.
The second concern includes all the questions about why this happened, who the assailant was, what pathology triggered this violence, and how he got a rifle into a secured school building. The answers to those questions should inform us how to better identify assailants and secure campuses.
In this case, the young assailant had access to a semiautomatic rifle. It is not clear how he accessed that weapon or to whom it belonged. It is also not clear how he was able to carry it into a school building that should have had secured entrances.
What is clear already: According to investigators, Apalachee High School received a call before the attack, warning that the school would be the first of five schools he was targeting. That, in itself, should have resulted in an immediate elevation of security and a school lockdown.
What is also clear: This assailant had already been red-flagged by the FBI a year earlier, and local law enforcement officials interrogated him with his father present. The alert came through the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center and related to threatening comments and images the assailant posted online at gaming platforms in May 2023 regarding a possible school shooting. According to the FBI: “The Jackson County Sheriffs’ Office located a possible subject, a 13-year-old male, and interviewed him and his father. The father stated he had hunting guns in the house, but the subject did not have unsupervised access to them. At that time, there was no probable cause for arrest or to take any additional law enforcement action on the local, state, or federal levels.”
Notably, the family resided in another county at the time, which may have also broken the chain of information about the threat posed by the then-13-year-old.
Given the benefit of 20/20 hindsight, it seems apparent that, despite no probable cause to take action last year, this individual should have had an established threat profile that was passed to the next county and school system where his family relocated, but it is not known whether that was the case. But the fact is, there are many such individuals who do things that result in their being identified as a potential threat every day, and only in extremely rare cases does one of those individuals attack a school.
But, as I have noted previously regarding rare school shootings, in almost every case, the profile pathology of the assailants is similar. Moreover, in most cases, they were immersed in violent “gaming” media and platforms. At what point will the multibillion-dollar “entertainment” industry that produces and promotes such violence be held accountable for how it desensitizes these individuals to the extent that they carry out such violence in person?
The third concern is what to do to stop such attacks.
In answer to that question, the first consideration should be a reality check regarding priorities. The high profile of a school attack and the resulting commercial media churn of related news result in a lot of parental and student fear and anxiety across the nation. All of us as parents can empathize with the parents and families of those whose loved ones perished.
This will not ease the loss of those families and friends, but for parental consideration, this year there have been a total of 23 people shot and killed on grade 6-12 and college campuses. Most of these deaths do not involve high-profile assaults within a school but rather altercations on campus.
The takeaway: 23 deaths are 23 too many, but if you are between the ages of 12 and 21, you are far safer on campus than you are on the streets. In 2023, there were about 19,000 murders in the United States, a grossly disproportionate number of which involve black assailants and black victims between the ages of 16 and 25.
Given that the largest concentrations of young people between the ages of 12 and 22 are on high school and college campuses most of the year, those locations are far safer than being off campus.
Of course, those on the Left promoting knee-jerk political agenda soundbites avoid any mention of the most obvious data on violence like the plague. According to Joe Biden: “Republicans in Congress must finally say ‘enough is enough’ and work with Democrats to pass common-sense gun safety legislation. We must ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines once again.” Meanwhile, on the campaign trail, Kamala Harris condemned the school shooting but made no mention of bans and background checks.
What Biden, Harris, and the opportunists will not mention is the fact that there have been far more police officers killed in the line of duty this year than people killed on campuses. Leftists never take a knee for those officers.

In 1943, Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler gave a speech in Posen, Poland laying out the Nazi plan to exterminate all Jews from all of Europe
Yesterday we showed you how Tucker Carlson on his podcast with revisionist historian Darryl Cooper launched a blistering attack on the veracity of the Nazi Holocaust, going so far as to say that Winston Churchill was more evil than Adolf Hitler. On the program, they said that the Holocaust of Europe’s Jews was not an elaborate and detailed plan, but rather an almost accidental event that rose up in the aftermath of having “too many prisoners of war”. Worse than that was the reaction by Bible-illiterate “christians” who agreed with that premise. Today we correct the record, and fix Tucker’s most abominable podcast with a little Holocaust truth on the Nazi plan to exterminate all of Europe’s Jews willfully, intentionally, and with malice aforethought.

General Eisenhower upon visiting the Ohrdruf concentration camp in April 1945, had this to say about what he saw there: “The things I saw beggar description…The visual evidence and the verbal testimony of starvation, cruelty, and bestiality were so overpowering as to leave me a bit sick. In one room, where they were piled up twenty or thirty naked men, killed by starvation, George Patton would not even enter. He said he would get sick if he did so. I made the visit deliberately, in order to be in position to give first-hand evidence of these things if ever, in the near future, there develops a tendency to charge these allegations merely to ‘propaganda.’ In 2024, the propaganda denying the facts of the Holocaust are in full swing, led by, of all people, Tucker Carlson. I find it sickening when people deny the true extent of the Holocaust, and I find it inexcusable when those things are said by people who name The Name of the King of the Jews, Jesus Christ. The LORD rebuke thee.
In 1943, Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler gave a speech in Posen, Poland, where he laid out in no uncertain terms, the Nazi plan for the complete eradication and extermination of all Jews from the entire continent of Europe. History records that the Nazis achieved 50% of their stated goal. That speech was not filmed, but an audio of it survives, and you can listen to it here.
Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler Speech Transcript Given at Posen, 1943, on the extermination of the Jews:
“I also want to speak to you here, in complete frankness, of a really grave chapter. Amongst ourselves, for once, it shall be said quite openly, but all the same we will never speak about it in public. Just as we did not hesitate on June 30, 1934,*(a reference to the Night of the Long Knives) to do our duty as we were ordered, and to stand comrades who had erred against the wall and shoot them, and we never spoke about it and we never will speak about it. It was a matter of natural tact that is alive in us, thank God, that we never talked about it amongst ourselves, that we never discussed it. Each of us shuddered and yet each of us knew clearly that the next time he would do it again if it were an order, and if it were necessary. I am referring here to the evacuation of the Jews, the extermination of the Jewish people.
This is one of the things that is easily said: “The Jewish people are going to be exterminated,” that’s what every Party member says, “sure, it’s in our program, elimination of the Jews, extermination – it’ll be done.”
And then they all come along, the 80 million worthy Germans, and each one has his one decent Jew. Of course, the others are swine, but this one, he is a first-rate Jew. Of all those who talk like that, not one has seen it happen, not one has had to go through with it. Most of you men know what it is like to see 100 corpses side by side, or 500 or 1,000. To have stood fast through this – and except for cases of human weakness – to have stayed decent, that has made us hard. This is an unwritten and never-to-be-written page of glory in our history, for we know how difficult it would be for us if today – under bombing raids and the hardships and deprivations of war – if we were still to have the Jews in every city as secret saboteurs, agitators, and inciters. If the Jews were still lodged in the body of the German nation, we would probably by now have reached the stage of 1916-17. The wealth they possessed we took from them. I gave a strict order, which has been carried out by SS OberGruppenFuhrer Pohl, that this wealth will of course be turned over to the Reich in its entirety. We have taken none of it for ourselves. Individuals who have erred will be punished in accordance with the order given by me at the start, threatening that anyone who takes as much as a single Mark of this money is a dead man. A number of SS men – they are not very – many committed this offense, and they shall die. There will be no mercy. We had the moral right, we had the duty towards our people, to destroy this people that wanted to destroy us. But we do not have the right to enrich ourselves by so much as a fur, as a watch, by one Mark or a cigarette or anything else. We do not want, in the end, because we destroyed a bacillus, to be infected by this bacillus and to die. I will never stand by and watch while even a small rotten spot develops or takes hold. Wherever it may form we will together burn it away. All in all, however, we can say that we have carried out this most difficult of tasks in a spirit of love for our people. And we have suffered no harm to our inner being, our soul, our character….” Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler
Heinrich Himmler Reveals Detailed Plan To Answer ‘The Jewish Question’
Heinrich Himmler gave an infamous speech on October 4, 1943 in the town hall of Posen (Paznan in Polish) before 92 SS officers and group leaders. He extols the murder and ultimate extermination of the Jews and the Jewish race. Enjoining the men gathered in the room to not speak of this genocide, Himmler nevertheless sees exterminating the Jews as the Nazis’ necessary historical mission, with no place for mercy or sentiment. Moreover, Himmler sees this as a “glorious chapter” in German history “which has never been written and shall never be written.”
During his “My Take,” Thursday, “Varney & Co.” host Stuart Varney argued Harris’ “handlers” are trying to move the Democratic nominee to the center to make her more electable, but they can’t hide that the centerpiece of her economic policy is to raise “all kinds of taxes.”
STUART VARNEY:WhenKamala Harrissuddenly became the Democrats’ new candidate, new people started to arrive at her campaign office.
They were former Obama staffers, drafted in to organize her new message.
The top income tax rate goes from 37 to 39.6%. The corporate tax rate nearly doubles, from 15 to 28%.
The biggest tax hike of all comes from lettingTrump’s tax cutsexpire.
The most pernicious hike is the wealth tax.
That means, people with big money have to hand over a portion of their wealth every year.
You’ve got it, we want it, hand it over.
Let’s not forget that when Joe Biden was elected, he was supposed to be a centrist, but as soon as Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris got hold of him, he took a left turn.

Americans are growing increasingly progressive in several areas of morality while also growing increasingly concerned about the current state of moral values and pessimistic about the future.
According to the latest Gallup survey on moral issues, U.S. adults are more likely than ever to see abortion, suicide, and polygamy as morally acceptable. In addition, married men and women having an affair, divorce, stem cell research using human embryos, having a child outside of marriage, and sex between teenagers are near their highest levels of public acceptability.
Currently, 54 percent of Americans say abortion is morally acceptable, while 37 percent believe it is morally wrong. Since 2001, moral support for abortion had hovered around the upper 30s and low 40s but has grown in the past several years. In 2019, 42 percent said abortion was morally OK and 50 percent believed it was immoral. Since that time, however, the trends have been in favor of abortion.
More than one in five U.S. adults (22 percent) believe suicide is morally acceptable, a high-water mark reached once before in 2022. The 71 percent who believe it is immoral is the lowest on record since Gallup began the survey in 2001, when 13 percent said suicide was moral and 78 percent thought it was morally wrong. More Americans see doctor-assisted suicide as a moral choice (53 percent).
Almost a quarter of Americans (23 percent) now find polygamy to be morally acceptable, while 74 percent disagree. The supportive percentage has been steady for the past three years, but those opposed to the practice are at their lowest percentage. The morally acceptable percentage has risen steadily since 2010 when just seven percent felt polygamy was OK.
Just 11 percent of U.S. adults say having an affair while married is OK. That is the second highest level of support, however, only behind 12 percet in 2023. Before 2016, adultery had never reached 10 perent who said it was morally acceptable. Recently, however, support has been in the double digits for three of the past four years.
Large numbers of adults also find use of birth control (90 percent), drinking alcohol (86 percent), in vitro fertilization (or IVF) (82 percent), divorce (78 percent), smoking marijuana (70 percent), sex between an unmarried man and woman (69 percent), having a baby outside of marriage (68 percent), gambling (66 percent), gay or lesbian relations (64 percent), and stem cell research using human embryos (63 percent) morally acceptable.
Fewer back pornography (38 percent), cloning animals (34 percent), and cloning humans (12 percent). Americans are more split on buying and wearing clothing made of animal fur (59 percent say it is morally acceptable versus 37 percent say it is morally wrong), the death penalty (55 percent versus 39 percent),destroying frozen embryos created by IVF(49 percent versus 43 percent), medical testing on animals (48 percent versus 46 percent), changing one’s gender (44 percent versus 51 percent), and sex between teenagers (43 percent versus 50 percent).
While U.S. adults have grown more liberal in their moral outlook, according to Gallup, they’ve also grown increasingly wary of the country’s morality. Currently, half of Americans (49 percent) say they would rate the overall state of moral values in the country as poor.
A third (34 percent) say they’re fair, 14 percent rate them as good, and just one percent say they’re excellent. Subtracting the poor percentage from the combined good and excellent ratings gives the current moral perspective score a minus 34 — down 12 points from 2002.
Overwhelmingly, Americans think the moral values of the country are worsening. Around four in five U.S. adults (81 percent) say the state of moral values is getting worse, and only 14 percent say it’s getting better. That gives the future outlook a minus 67 score — down 24 points from 2002.
