TODAY’S BIBLE READING CHALLENGE:
Isaiah 10:1-11:16
2 Corinthians 12:11-21
Psalm 56:1-13
Proverbs 23:6-8
Isaiah 10:2 — God has active concerns for how we act here on earth, and for how we deal with the needy, the poor, the widows, and the fatherless. Note that He is not advocating equality of outcome (redistribution), but equality of access (e.g. I do not have a right to a “Not Guilty” verdict, but I do have a right to a fair trial). Laws that hurt the poor and needy are bad laws. The Heritage Foundation has an interesting report on big government policies that hurt the poor and how to address them.
Isaiah 10:21 — What is the point of all this judgment? That the remnant of Israel returns to the Mighty God! While this is Old Testament, we see parallels in the New Testament. Many Christian families have mourned their children going astray. Yet, those children who experience not only the pleasures of sin for a season but also the chastening of the LORD, will return to the Father.
Isaiah 11:1 — Who is this Branch? We read about the Branch in Isaiah 4:2. The Branch is beautiful and glorious and sanctifying Israel. Now we read that this is the descendant of David (Jesse’s son), who shall have a special spirit – judging the poor, smiting the earth, and slaying the wicked.
Isaiah 11:6 — When has the wolf lain down with the lamb? Not in my lifetime, but in the Millennial Kingdom we will see this era of peace (Isaiah 11:6-9). This is the time spoken of in Isaiah 2:4 as well. Obviously, this time hasn’t come yet.
Isaiah 11:16 — A new Red Sea Highway? This will be interesting to see!
2 Corinthians 12:15 — The woes of many a pastor! The more love you show to people sometimes the less you are loved.
2 Corinthians 12:17 — Paul has been emphasizing throughout this chapter that he sought nothing from the people. He wasn’t a televangelist raising money for a new Gulfstream G650. He spent and was spent for them (2 Corinthians 12:15).
2 Corinthians 12:20-21 — How many of these things do we find in our lives? No, Paul wasn’t going to house-search for “envyings” and “strifes”, but Jesus was! He’s always with the believer (He indwells them), so let’s examine our lives and live for God!
Psalm 56:3 — Here’s an easy way to memorize from Mr. E!
Psalm 56:13 — The Psalmist thanks God for his soul’s salvation from spiritual death, but now he asks for deliverance from physical death. If God has saved our soul, He can save our body!
Proverbs 26:7 — Guarding your thoughts is so important because thoughts determine actions, and your actions determine your character.

Todd recounts the gripping story of how the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod stood firm against a liberal takeover in the 1970s. Wretched Radio | Air …
LESSONS FROM A DENOMINATION THAT ALMOST SELF DESTRUCTED

Todd asks a crucial question: are you worshipping a puny God? Drawing from the profound wisdom of A.W. Tozer and biblical truths, Todd explores how your view of God directly impacts your Christian walk, worship, and even your evangelism.
With a low view of God comes trivial worship and a shallow Christian life, but a high view of God’s sovereignty transforms everything. Todd challenges us to examine the God we serve—one who controls every molecule of the universe and orchestrates all things for His glory.
DO YOU WORSHIP A PUNY GOD?

Thus shall they know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord God. (Ezekiel 34:30)
To be the Lord’s own people is a choice blessing, but to know that we are such is a comfortable blessing. It is one thing to hope that God is with us and another thing to know that He is so. Faith saves us, but assurance satisfies us. We take God to be our God when we believe in Him; but we get the joy of Him when we know that He is ours and that we are His. No believer should be content with hoping and trusting; he should ask the Lord to lead him on to full assurance, so that matters of hope may become matters of certainty.
It is when we enjoy covenant blessings and see our Lord Jesus raised up for us as a plant of renown that we come to a clear knowledge of the favor of God toward us. Not by law, but by grace do we learn that we are the Lord’s people. Let us always turn our eyes in the direction of free grace. Assurance of faith can never come by the works of the law. It is an evangelical virtue and can only reach us in a gospel way. Let us not look within. Let us look to the Lord alone. As we see Jesus we shall see our salvation.
Lord, send us such a flood-tide of Thy love that we shall be washed beyond the mire of doubt and fear.

Euthanasia is all about the money
…Euthanasia is a programme of genocide, not kindness. Euthanasia is all about money. It’s an essential part of the route into Net Zero, which is, of course, the prelude to the Great Reset wherein “we will all own nothing and be happy.” The authorities want to kill the elderly, the sick and the frail. In countries where euthanasia is legal, they are already killing children, the mentally ill, and the poor.

Preparing For A Crash? Warren Buffett Has Been Selling Off Hundreds Of Millions Of Shares In 2024
Warren Buffett did not become a billionaire by being stupid. According to Forbes, Buffett is worth more than 144 billion dollars, and that makes him one of the wealthiest men in the entire world. He made his money in the stock market, and so why is he now pulling money out of the stock market at a feverish pace? Does he anticipate that a crash is coming? Earlier this year, Buffett shocked the investing community when his company sold off half the Apple shares that it was holding.

Enormous decisions that could dramatically affect the future of everyone on the entire planet are about to be made, and just about the entire population has absolutely no idea what is going on.

GEN B.B. Bell (USA, Ret.)

Dear Fellow Citizens,
The upcoming national election is not about former President Donald Trump. It’s not about Vice President Kamala Harris. Please — please — do not look at this election as an election between personalities or between which one of these two you like or don’t like. Frankly, I don’t “like” either one of them very much.
What I do like, as the cornerstone of my life, is the Constitution of the United States of America. Here’s what I like most about it — the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights contains the first 10 Amendments to our Constitution. While the main body of the Constitution is about governmental organization and operation, the Bill of Rights is specifically about you. It’s about me. It’s about our inalienable rights as human beings on this planet Earth.
The Bill of Rights is 100% on the line in the upcoming election. I spent 39 years on active duty in America’s Army working to figure things out. I’ve figured this election out. This one was easy. Straight up: A vote for Trump is a vote for your Bill of Rights and your personal freedoms. So, it’s a vote for our personal and immutable God-given human rights.
A vote for Harris is a strong vote against the Bill of Rights and a vote for the governmental principles articulated by Karl Marx. It’s a vote for federal government control of what rights, if any, citizens will be afforded by the government. Under Marxist regimes worldwide, historically, these rights and personal freedoms have been few, very few. This reality is stunningly clear.
God-fearing patriotic Americans owe it to our children and our grandchildren to fully and passionately reject the Marxist dictums aspired to by Harris and her inner circle. Should she become president, your rights and freedoms as guaranteed by the Bill of Rights will be vastly eroded by a torrent of Marxist-appointed bureaucrats brought to Washington by Harris and her associates. They will overwhelm our governmental institutions.
Regardless of what Harris says, the hard truth is that in her administration, thousands of dedicated and passionate Marxists will be at the helm in all of America’s agencies and departments, and they will take control of your lives and your fortunes, large or small. The Marxists will strangle and destroy the Bill of Rights, regardless of congressional oversight or Supreme Court rulings. Cabinet bureaucrats, especially the Justice Department, are simply that powerful, strong, and intrusive. If you think our Supreme Court or Congress has the power to protect your personal rights and freedoms, your head is buried deeply in the sand.
For freedom’s sake, please reject this Marxist march to insanity and thus the destruction of these United States. Vote for Trump as our next president. Vote early and ensure 10 of your friends vote for him also. It is our very last hope to save our cherished democracy, our personal freedoms, and our inalienable rights.

For the Record
“Let’s set the record straight: By the time of the Afghanistan withdrawal disaster, Biden & Harris had been in power for eight months. They ripped up our plan for an orderly, conditions-based withdrawal. They evacuated military assets before civilians. Kamala bragged about being the ‘last person in the room’ setting the strategy. Biden & Kamala are directly responsible. And Kamala’s attempt to pass the buck won’t work and, sadly, is an injustice to all who served us all in Afghanistan for years.” —former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo
“We’ve imposed no significant consequences on Iran for its sponsorship of a terror group with American blood on its hands. We are mealy-mouthed and skittish, a super power constrained by its unwillingness to fully take its own side in a fight. We should feel a profound sense of national embarrassment, but Joe Biden doesn’t embarrass easily. He left U.S. citizens behind in Afghanistan and has failed to neutralize a rag-tag band of rebels who continue to disrupt shipping in the Red Sea despite the presence of the U.S. Navy.” —Rich Lowry
“Hamas will be defeated on the battlefield or it will not be defeated at all. … The way to eliminate Hamas and liberate Gaza is to ensure that Israel prevails in this war. Everything else is secondary. Terrorists who kidnap and kill US citizens are America’s mortal enemies. The way to advance America’s national interests is not to arrest the terrorists, but to destroy them.” —Jeff Jacoby

U.S. — American voters report feeling excited to listen to two bright minds civilly discuss the issues of the day in a neutral, casual environment ahead of tonight’s presidential debate.
A recent survey showed Americans can’t wait to witness the cordial meeting of two towering intellects when Donald Trump and Kamala Harris gather to thoughtfully chew over the most pressing issues of the day. “I can’t wait to hear them discuss a range of topics with respect. Both Trump and Kamala are so articulate, this will really be a treat,” voter Kristin Turley commented. “There have never been two more gifted orators of our time.”
Trump echoed the national excitement, saying: “I cannot wait to meet with Ms. Harris tonight and hear her well-thought-out perspectives on issues like immigration and the economy, I know the two of us disagree on many points but I truly respect Kamala and am honored to share a debate stage with her. Namaste,” he said as he put his hands together and bowed his head in a gesture of respect and admiration.
“Donald is an empire-builder and a keen businessman,” Kamala commented. “I can’t wait to have a metered, reasonable discussion with him.
As of publishing time, ABC canceled the services of their debate moderators as it was determined Trump and Kamala were capable of having a calm, productive discussion without the need for intercessors.

The giant ball of fire that our planet revolves around has been far more active than scientists originally anticipated this year, and that could have very serious implications for all of us in the months ahead. Fluctuations in solar activity affect our climate more than anything else does, and we also tend to see more earthquakes when solar activity is at elevated levels. The current solar cycle is supposed to reach a peak at some point during the next 12 months, but so far there are no signs that solar activity is slowing down. In fact, the average number of sunspots that we witnessed last month was the highest that we have seen since 2001…
The average number of sunspots reached 215.5 in August, according to the Solar Influences Data Analysis Center at the Royal Observatory in Belgium. It’s the highest number since Sept.-Dec. 2001, according to SpaceWeather.com. July’s total was 196.5. Last month, NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center issued a preliminary statement that solar activity is at its highest since March 2001.
This wasn’t supposed to happen.
Scientists were originally projecting that we would see about half as many sunspots during the month of August…
Experts had predicted that August would only see half as many sunspots, indicating that the solar maximum is imminent, and it may be more active than anticipated, possibly bringing intense solar flares and coronal mass ejections.
The number of sunspots has been increasing at an exponential rate for the past couple of months.
Hopefully we will get a reprieve here in September.
Because if we don’t, we could see more severe geomagnetic storms like we did in May…
In May 2024, Earth experienced its strongest geomagnetic storm in over 20 years, with auroras visible much farther south than usual, including regions as far as Florida and Mexico. If another large sunspot appears around the time of the September equinox, it could lead to a similar or even stronger event.
When a very large geomagnetic storm occurs, it can disrupt our lives in countless ways.
Back in May, even farm equipment was dramatically affected…
Ronald Rabon, the owner of Double R Farms, said back in May when the G-5 extreme solar magnetic levels occurred, he was out spraying his cotton field when his equipment started acting up.
“I didn’t know what was wrong with it,” Rabon said. “All I knew, it was, and you could get it straightened up and go for a few minutes. And it might go 20, 30 minutes and whatever minutes from then, all of a sudden, you’d be going through the field and it might just take a left.”
Rabon said one of the biggest problems with the solar flares is preventing his sprayers from being accurate. His GPS uses precise alignments for spraying, and when knocked out of its track, could overspray his crop and kill it.
Of course if our planet is hit by a large enough storm, it could fry power grids, take down the Internet, and cause massive societal problems all over the world.
Hopefully such a scenario will not play out any time soon.
All of the solar activity that we have been witnessing is also the primary reason why there has been so much intense heat this summer…
Summer broke global heat records for the second straight year, scientists have confirmed — putting 2024 firmly on track to be the hottest year in recorded history.
The period between June and August — summer in the Northern Hemisphere — was the world’s hottest such period since records began in 1940, according to data published Friday by Copernicus, Europe’s climate change service.
Much more importantly, there tends to be a lot of seismic activity when solar activity is very high, and that is precisely what has been occurring.
In particular, a lot of experts are quite alarmed about all of the shaking that we have seen in California lately…
Residents in California experienced a swarm of five earthquakes within the last 48 hours.
A 4.4-magnitude was felt in the north around Lake County on Saturday and two more struck the area the following evening, ranked as a 2.7 and 2.8-magnitude.
Locals in southern California also reported two more quakes on Saturday, with the largest ranking a 3.9-magnitude.
Within the past 7 days, there have been more than 900 earthquakes in California and Nevada.
As I discussed the other day, I am extremely concerned about the instability that we have been witnessing on the west coast.
This is something that I will be watching very, very closely during the months to come. In my brand new book, I explain why I believe that we have entered a time when we will see historic earthquakes of absolutely epic proportions.
Of course it isn’t just the U.S. that will be affected.
There has also been a lot of shaking south of the border lately too.
On September 6th, a gigantic crack in the Earth that suddenly opened up actually swallowed four cows…
A large earth crack opened in Ejido J. Cruz Gálvez, located in the Hermosillo municipality of Sonora, Mexico, on September 6, 2024, swallowing four cows.
The crack is reported to be approximately 3 km (1.8 miles) long and 1.5 m (5 feet) wide, with a depth of 4 m (13 feet) in some sections.
According to the rancher who recorded a video of the crack, it swallowed four cows. Local authorities have not yet issued any statements regarding the matter.
It is not normal for a crack in the Earth that is 3 kilometers long to appear out of nowhere.
When will people finally start to wake up?
Our planet is becoming increasingly unstable, and this should deeply alarm all of us.
Meanwhile, the skies above our heads are becoming increasingly active as well.
For example, a giant space rock that is “approximately the size of two football fields” will come flying by our planet on September 15th…
An asteroid approximately the size of two football fields is set to make a close approach to Earth this month. According to the New York Post, the 720-foot-wide asteroid named 2024 ON, will pass around 620,000 miles from our planet on September 15. While this distance might seem vast, it’s remarkably close in astronomical terms – equivalent to just 2.6 times the distance between our planet and the Moon. However, it poses no threat to Earth.
The good news is that this particular giant space rock is definitely going to miss us.
In the future, we may not be so fortunate.
So much is happening in the skies above our heads, but most of the population is not paying attention.
Unfortunately, it is just a matter of time before major events start to happen that none of us will be able to ignore.

Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, a top surrogate for Kamala Harris, found herself in the crosshairs of a frustrated Joe Kernen.
The veteran reporter bluntly called out Harris’s unprecedented lack of transparency and avoidance of tough interviews.
Raimondo initially attempted to defend Kamala, emphasizing Kamala’s “crystal clear” values and efforts to connect with the American people, particularly businesses.
“She’s reaching out to me, she’s reaching out to businesses,” Raimondo stated, hoping to steer the conversation towards Harris’s outreach to key economic stakeholders.
But Kernen was having none of it. He criticized Kamala’s 41-day stretch without any substantial press appearances, save for a single, heavily edited interview that failed to provide much clarity on her policies or intentions.
“She hasn’t talked to the press, Gina. I know you’re a surrogate, but the American people are frustrated. The media is frustrated with the amount of access anyone’s gotten to her for the past 41 days.”
“We’re finally going to have a debate tomorrow night because she sat down for one interview that was taped and then cut down.”
Kernen didn’t hold back in his assessment, calling Harris’s media strategy a “master class in avoiding any questions” and lambasting her for the heavy reliance on scripted teleprompter speeches and carefully curated interviews.
According to Kernen, Harris has done everything in her power to shield herself from real scrutiny, leaving Americans in the dark about her policies and vision for the future.
“Maybe it’s been made clear in dribs and drabs from her policymakers when it comes out in print or off a teleprompter at one of her scripted speeches. She’s been impossible to pin down on anything because she hasn’t given any access. The American people deserve it. Wouldn’t you agree?” he said.
After listening to Kernen’s lecture, Raimondo quietly conceded, “Yes,” in agreement that the American people deserved more transparency from Harris.
