We are not to expect to win victories for the Lord Jesus by a single blow. Evil principles and practices die hard. In some places it takes years of labor to drive out even one of the many vices which defile the inhabitants. We must carry on the war with all our might, even when favored with little manifest success.
Our business in this world is to conquer it for Jesus. We are not to make compromises but to exterminate evils. We are not to seek popularity but to wage unceasing war with iniquity. Infidelity, popery, drink, impurity, oppression, worldliness, error; these are all to be “put out.”
The Lord our God can alone accomplish this. He works by His faithful servants, and blessed be His name. He promises that He will so work. “Jehovah thy God will put out those nations before thee.” This He will do by degrees that we may learn perseverance, may increase in faith, may earnestly watch, and may avoid carnal security. (Josh Howard – Clear Truth Media) Recent events in the world, from Ukraine and Russia, to Israel and Palestine, to the brooding shadow of conflict with Iran, have reminded our generation that war is quite real, quite perennial (historically speaking), and quite horrible. Our modern society has not experienced the sights and sounds of war on the large scale of many generations that preceded us, and we therefore understandably struggle with understanding how to process them….
But beyond the wars that occur between nations, the conflicts in our world may remind us of an often-neglected biblical dynamic: God’s people are to be those that remember the sounds of war. But unlike the world, our warfare is not the war against flesh and blood, but it is truly the war of darkness against light.
That They Might Know War
The book of Judges is the saga of an unrelenting downward spiral in many ways for God’s people. The repeated phrase “and the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the Lord” is, accordingly, a recurring phrase in the book that gives a sort of summary perspective on the spiritual state of things amongst the people of God (2:11; 3:7; 3:12; 4:1; 6:1; 10:6; 13:1). The first chapter of Judges introduces the continuing conquest of Canaan after Joshua’s death, and Israel’s habitual failures to drive the inhabitants from the land in the keeping with their instructions. The second chapter covers Joshua’s death, Israel’s continual forays into sin and idolatry, and God’s eventual appointment of Judges to preside over Israel. View article →

Will you die well? | Reformed Perspective
We spend a lot of time preparing for things. Every day we prepare for school, work, or whatever else may be on our plate. We ensure we brush our teeth, get dressed, are well nourished, and aware of what is on our calendar. We fill our vehicles with fuel and ensure they still have insurance. We like to be prepared, especially if something big is coming our way.
But something really big is coming our way, any moment now, and many of us aren’t actually prepared for it. You are going to die.
Are you ready to die? More than that, will you die well?
When we face things we don’t like, our western culture tends to resort to one of two methods. The first is to minimize it, living as if it isn’t a big deal, and the second is to try and control the situation.
Evasion #1: Minimizing
In recent decades, death is purposely being hidden. The days of wearing clothing to show you are mourning the loss of a loved one has long passed. Instead of being buried, 77% of deaths in my home province of BC result in cremation. After all, cremation is simple – it doesn’t require a casket, a plot in a graveyard, a funeral, a headstone, or even much of a wait. The body is simply “gone” with just some ashes remaining.
Funerals have also been replaced with “memorial gatherings” or “celebrations of life” where a few words are spoken, pictures shared, and some drinks are poured. During and post-Covid, even many of these empty practices have been abandoned.
With fewer children and broken families, many Canadians are approaching death realizing that they won’t be leaving much of a hole in anyone’s lives. Sure enough, when they die their rooms are emptied, the walls are painted, and the next tenant moves in shortly after. Did anyone even notice?
We can point to culture, but how are we preparing for the prospect of our own deaths? A former pastor of mine shared that he prefers to preach at a funeral over a wedding. At a funeral people are usually listening – thirsty souls needing spiritual water. At a wedding most people are distracted, waiting for the message to wrap up so we can carry on with the other plans. The problem is that much of our lives can be characterized by distractions from what really matters.
When it is our funeral, we won’t have any time left to pay attention. We are either ready or we aren’t.
Evasion #2: Pretending to be in control
Since humanity is not able to escape death, it is becoming common to do what we can to control it by ending life on our own terms. Since “assisted death” or MAiD was legalized in 2016, the numbers have jumped as much as 30 percent each year since. Well over 50,000 Canadians have already been killed this way. The National Post recently shared the story of Dr. Ellen Wiebe, who grew up in a Christian home and has killed over 400 people in BC. She calls her work “incredibly rewarding” stating that “it’s the last thing I’ll give up.” Why is it so important? “It’s about honouring people’s wishes, empowering people to have control over their own lives.”
Again, Christians can face the same temptation, in at least two ways. First, many religious leaders claim that “MAiD” is a blessing to be embraced, as it allows people to die without facing more pain.
And, without “assisted death” even being considered, other Christians do everything they can to fight against God’s clear plan to let our earthly life come to an end. We seek to control our death through every medical option available, or by becoming bitter at God for interfering with our hopes and plans.
Dying well
God has made it clear to us that minimizing death, or trying to control it, are both foolish. Since our first parents ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, death has been unavoidable (Gen. 2:17). And even if a doctor and the government are willing to end our lives, every one of us will still stand before God to give an account (2 Cor. 5:10-11). So if we want to live and die well, we need to understand life and death from God’s perspective, not our own.
The Apostle Paul gives us the answer so beautifully in Ephesians 1and 2. I urge you to stop reading this article and go to your Bible to Ephesians 1:1-2:10 right now. It will likely be some of the most valuable time of your day.
Did you notice how many times Paul wrote about being “in Christ” and “in Him”? What God makes very plain to us in these verses is that if we want to die well, we need to die in Christ.
Left to ourselves, death will have the victory over us. It doesn’t matter if we attended a Reformed church all our lives, were well respected by others, and are surrounded by a large and loving family. As Paul shares in Ephesians 2:1: “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked… following the prince of the power of the air…” We were dead, even if our hearts were still beating.
Thankfully the message doesn’t stop there. In verses 4-8 we hear the Gospel. Let it sink in:
“But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you have been saved – and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God…”
When we die in Christ we are saved from eternal death by Christ’s death, and can look forward to being raised to eternal life, just as Christ did. That is why, in his letter to the Philippians Paul was able to testify, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21). As Pastor Jonathan Parnell shared in his article “Die Well” on DesiringGod.org
“Death is gain because when all is lost, we still have all we ever really wanted, and now we have him in a deeper, richer experience that, as the apostle Paul says, is ‘far better’ (Philippians 1:23).”
To live in Christ means to surrender everything to Him. Not control, or fight or hide, but surrender. “I am not my own but belong, in body and soul, to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ” (Heidelberg Catechism, Lord’s Day 1). Paradoxically, living well means dying to ourselves – even dying everyday (1 Cor. 15:31), so that we can experience abundant life – eternal life in Christ.
Victory in Christ
When we are in Christ we don’t have to minimize death, or try control it. We can rest in God’s good plan for our life.
This doesn’t take away from the fact that death is our enemy. It stings. I’m “only” 43 but have felt the pain of death acutely many times. I’m not looking forward to experiencing it even more in my remaining days.
Yet it makes all the difference in the world to understand that in Christ, death doesn’t have the final word for my loved ones or myself. Because He died for us and conquered the grave with His resurrection from the dead, “death is swallowed up in victory” (1 Cor. 15:54). It is now a gateway to life. Real life. Eternal life.
“Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Cor. 15:57).

IDF: We have no information that Sinwar is dead
IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari on Monday morning responded to a question regarding whether Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is still alive. The question came during the short question-and-answer session following Hagari’s warning to Lebanese citizens; in it, the questioner asked whether Sinwar had been killed in a recent IDF airstrike. “I cannot confirm, and cannot deny” the reports, Hagari stressed. “I do not have information that he is dead.” Israel is examining the possibility that Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar was killed as a result of an IDF airstrike on the Gaza Strip.

- Biden at UN: Today, Joe Biden made what may be his final major appearance on the world stage, speaking to the United Nations General Assembly. UN Secretary-General António Guterres is describing the summit as an opportunity to address the myriad issues threatening the future of the world, including wars in Ukraine, the Middle East, and Sudan, as well as the Left’s favorite bogeyman, climate change. Biden delivered a vision for the world body related to that of his own administration. Tellingly, while the world’s despots are in attendance, such as Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, those not attending are Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that Biden’s goal is to “rally global action to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges.” That’s a tough sell for Biden, whose leadership in the U.S. has only resulted in sowing more division despite his claims of wanting to unite the nation.

- Kamala to the border: In a desperate move aimed at countering Donald Trump’s lead on the issue of immigration and border security, Border Czar Kamala Harris is finally planning to head to the border in Arizona. A recent New York Times/Siena poll shows that Trump is up five points over Harris in Arizona, which is the real reason for her trip. Furthermore, images of a gaping hole in the border fence courtesy of the Biden/Harris administration’s decision to stop construction of the Trump-era project don’t help. One rancher whose land borders the area and who has witnessed massive numbers of migrants cross his ranch stated, “I am personally outraged that President Biden stopped the wall. The wall works. … Biden stopped Trump’s wall. Hopefully, in my opinion, Trump gets elected so he can finish the wall and secure the border.” It will be tough for Harris to blame the border crisis on congressional Republicans when it was the Biden/Harris administration that intentionally stopped the Trump-era projects that were working to secure the border.
- Dems awash in campaign cash, dwarf GOP in ad spending: Remember when the Democrats were always whining about getting the money out of politics? Times have changed. These days, the Democrat Party is the Money Party, the party of big-time donors and bottomless campaign coffers. As Axios reports, Republicans are projected to end up $500 million behind the Democrats in ad spending between now and Election Day: “As of Sept. 20, Democrats have spent $1.8 billion on ads booked for Aug. 1 through Nov. 5, compared to $1.3 billion for Republicans. That includes spending by campaigns (from the presidential candidates down to lower-ballot hopefuls) as well as by outside groups. - J6 security transcripts show Trump tried to protect the Capitol: Donald Trump has for years maintained that he called for National Guard protection days before January 6 and that the failure to act on his authorization rests with then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser. And now, once again, we learn that Trump told the truth and Pelosi’s rigged January 6 Committee lied. As Just the News’s John Solomon reports, “Trump gave clear instructions to Pentagon brass days before the Jan. 6 riots to ‘do whatever it takes’ to keep the U.S. Capitol safe, including deploying National Guard or active-duty troops, but top officials did not comply because of political concerns, according to transcripts of bombshell interviews conducted by the Defense Department’s chief watchdog that shine new light on government disfunction ahead of the historic tragedy.” In two separate interviews with the Pentagon inspector general, former Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley clarified that Trump’s orders to protect the Capitol were clear and unequivocal. Neither Pelosi nor Bowser nor Joe Biden nor Kamala Harris could be reached for comment.
- Is a Trump hater leading the FBI probe into the second hit attempt? Back on July 18, five days after the first attempt on Donald Trump’s life, we warned about the looming FBI whitewash. And sure enough. Now, after yet another attempted assassination of Trump, we’re learning that “a senior FBI official now leading the investigation of the Trump assassination attempt in Florida was promoted despite allegations he retaliated against FBI personnel for their conservative political views.” Imagine that. A Trump hater is leading the probe into Trump hatred. As The Washington Times continues: “FBI Miami field office Special Agent in Charge Jeffrey Veltri will be among several senior bureau personnel that Republicans want to know more about when Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz testifies Wednesday before the House Judiciary Committee’s Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.” Never fear, though. FBI Director Chris Wray says “that the men and women of the FBI are working tirelessly to get to the bottom of what happened” and that he’s “dedicated the full force of the FBI to this investigation.” Uh-huh.

- Even Blumenthal is upset at Mayorkas: Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have become increasingly frustrated with the Biden administration’s handling of the investigations into the assassination attempts against Donald Trump. The specific complaint is that the Department of Homeland Security has not been forthcoming with detailed information regarding its ongoing investigation. DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has not made himself available to lawmakers, contends House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH). “Where has Mayorkas been?” he asks. “He’s the guy in charge of Homeland Security. He’s the secretary, and Secret Service is part of that agency. Where’s he been, for goodness sake?” Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) is equally perturbed, saying last week, “I am reaching a point of total outrage because the response from the Department of Homeland Security has been totally lacking. In fact, I think it’s tantamount to stonewalling in many respects.” He’s even threatening “to use the subpoena power if necessary to get information from the Department of Homeland Security.” Why is DHS being so uncooperative?
- An illegal immigrant kills a cop: The bloody consequences of the Biden-Harris regime’s open-border policies continue to be expressed in the currency of American lives. This time, the victim is a St. Louis cop named David Lee. As The Washington Free Beacon reports, “A 24-year-old illegal immigrant was charged Monday in the death of a St. Louis police officer after hitting the officer with his car, according to police. The suspect, Ramon A. Chavez-Rodriguez, was intoxicated when police arrested him and was on probation for beating a woman he lived with.” This prompts the question: What on earth is this guy still doing in our country? Imagine Kamala Harris holding a press conference, and imagine an intrepid journalist asking her, “Is there anything you’d like to say to the family of Officer David Lee?” The Free Beacon continues: “Lee was not the first police officer killed in the line of duty by an illegal immigrant this year. In March, an intoxicated illegal immigrant from Mexico crashed his speeding SUV into Washington State Trooper Christopher Gadd’s patrol car, killing the officer. Earlier, in 2022, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Mike Hartwick was killed after an illegal immigrant without a driver’s license struck him before speeding off.”

- Russian ICBM fails miserably: Earlier this month, Moscow tested its latest ICBM missile, the RS-28 Sarmat, also known as Satan II, which Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed is a “formidable weapon” with no range limitations, able to hit targets anywhere between the North and South poles. Well, to do so, this missile would have to be able to get airborne, which satellite images of the launch site show it failed to do. A massive 62-meter crater, along with extensive damage surrounding the ICBM launch site, indicates that the missile test was a massive failure. Experts speculate that it either exploded during the launch or as it was being fueled for launch. Understandably, the Kremlin has been mum on the issue. But this failure does call into question the true capabilities of Russia’s ICBM system and the genuine degree of Putin’s nuclear threats. The Sarmat program has a history of problems and delays, some of which analysts see as being tied to ongoing sanctions that were raised against contractors for Russia’s space agency back in 2014 after Putin first invaded Ukraine.

The Left’s Latest ‘Gun Violence’ Cover-Up

I have family in Birmingham, so I have been following reports about a “mass shooting” there.
It has been more than 48 hours since four people were murdered and 17 others injured late Saturday night outside a “hookah bar” in a strip of town with mostly bars. Police believe the assailants were targeting one person in a group in what they describe as a “hit,” though investigators have not determined which person they think was the target.
According to Birmingham PD Chief Scott Thurmond: “Some of the individuals that were killed have extensive criminal histories, and because of that, there’s often times motivation from others, and there’s people who are willing to pay to have them killed. And so that’s part of it. Someone was willing to pay money to have that person killed.” In fact, I confirmed through BPD sources that those records include murder charges.
Translation: This was drug thug/gang violence.
Oddly, among hundreds of subsequent news posts about this incident, not one single report has included any description of the assailants. Even news reports about an unprecedented $100,000 reward to identify the attackers ($50,000 from the FBI and $50,000 from Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama) offered no description of the suspects’ race or sex. (One site did have a reference to “black male,” but that was removed.)
I note “oddly,” but in fact, not identifying the race of the assailants is not odd; it is now typical. The reason: A grossly disproportionate number of these murders are black-on-black, affirming the inconvenient truth about race and violence. Thus, Democrats conceal race. This gross racial disparity is an indictment of the social policies they have perpetuated on their urban poverty plantations for decades, and those policies are directly correlated with urban violence.
The alternative, of course, is to blame so-called “gun violence.”
In Kentucky earlier this month, a sociopath shot at vehicles from an I-75 exit ramp, likely inspired by a similar attack days earlier near Seattle, Washington. Within an hour of the Kentucky incident, the assailant’s photograph was distributed to the media, and a full-scale manhunt was launched for days. He was found deceased days later by YouTubers near the location of that exit.
Point is, with all of the surveillance cameras in the area, no information has been released about the Birmingham murderers.
We have confirmed that all four victims were black, and it is highly likely that the assailants were black. In the last two such attacks in Birmingham this year — one in July resulting in four murders and one in February also resulting in four murders — the victims and assailants were all black.
Birmingham’s Demo mayor, Randall Woodfin, whose brother and nephew were previously murdered by thugs, declared: “We find ourselves in 2024, where gun violence is at an epidemic level, an epidemic crisis in our country. And the city of Birmingham, unfortunately, finds itself at the tip of that spear. … I want to make myself very clear on what the priority is: It is to hunt down, capture, arrest, and convict the people who are responsible for this mass shooting.”
Indeed, three of the 31 mass killings this year, 23 of which involved firearms, occurred in Birmingham.
But again, Woodfin provided no details in order to narrow down the search. If the assailants fit the typical profile — black males between the ages of 18 and 30 — that narrows the search to 3% of the population.
Also predictable was Woodfin’s blame-shifting assertion: “I think America has a gun culture problem.” He added, “It does require us to roll up our sleeves and make common sense laws that actually save lives.”
Apparently, he has not heard that only law-abiding citizens abide by the law. Outlaws don’t.
The problem is not law-abiding citizens.
Woodfin also said: “As a community, we cannot give safe harbor or shelter to people who want to just simply kill people. We can’t give them cover. They should not feel safe in our community. They should not feel safe anywhere.” But again, it is urban Democrat mayors who have, in effect for decades, cultivated outlaws nationwide.
More to the point, Birmingham PD’s Public Information Officer, Truman Fitzgerald, said these violent incidents “have more to do with culture than they do criminality.”
Indeed, they do.
So, what laws does Woodfin think will solve “gun violence”?
He says, “Glock switches are the number one public safety issue in our city and state,” speculating that the weapon used had been converted to full-auto: “We need our legislators to pass laws that save lives and give local authorities the tools (laws) to arrest those who just drive around and walk around with these weapons.” Police have not said what type of weapon was used, but Woodfin wants more gun laws to solve the problem.
Apparently, he has not heard about laws already on the books prohibiting carrying a firearm illegally and converting a firearm to select fire (full-auto). Federal law 26 USC § 5845(b) is crystal clear: Devices that are designed to convert semiautomatic firearms to fire automatically are illegal throughout the U.S.
But Demos never let the facts get in the way of gaslighting law-abiding citizens in order to advance their political agenda, especially in an election cycle.
Finally, according to a statement from Stef Feldman, director of Biden’s Office of Gun Violence Prevention charade, “Once again, our entire nation is watching in horror as another community is devasted [sic] by the national epidemic of gun violence.” Feldman says Biden and Harris are coordinating with state and local officials.
That’ll fix it.

Joe Biden addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. It was his last speech to the international body.
Old Joe looked tired and lost as he mumbled and lied his way through his final speech as the world burns.
Joe has a particularly difficult time reading the TelePrompter these days and frequently mashes his words together.
Biden then went after Russia and Putin and pushed for more war.
Joe Biden: I truly believe we’re at another inflection point, world history. The choices we make today will determine our future for decades to come. Will we stand behind the principles of Unitas (that unite us)? Will we stand firm against aggression? Will we end the conflicts that are rising today? Will we take on global challenges like climate change, hunger, and disease? Will we plan now for the opportunities and risk of a revolutionary new technologies? I want to talk today about each of these decisions and the actions, in my view, we must take. To start, each of us as a body has made a commitment to the principles of the UN Charter to stand up against aggression. When Russia invaded Ukraine, we could have stood by and merely protested. But vice President Harris and I understood that that was an assault on everything this institution was supposed to stand for. And so my direction, America, stepped into the breach, providing massive security and economic and humanitarian assistance. Our NATO allies and partners in 50 plus nations stood up as well. But most importantly, the Ukrainian people stood up…
…The good news is, Putin’s war has failed at his core aim. He set out to destroy Ukraine, but Ukraine is still free. He set out to weaken NATO, but NATO is bigger, stronger, more united than ever before with two new members, Finland and Sweden. But we cannot let up. The world now has another choice to make. Will we sustain our support to help Ukraine win this war and preserve its freedom, or walk away and let aggression be renewed and a nation be destroyed? I know my answer. We cannot grow weary We cannot look away, and we will not let up on our support for Ukraine. Nod to Ukraine wins just an adorable piece in the UN.
Actually, Ukraine is losing this war and the world knows it. Unfortunately, the globalists and Western elites are itching for a world war in the months ahead.

ALL OUT WAR? The United States Sends Ground Troops To Middle East As Rapidly-Escalating Fight Between Israel And Hezbollah Threatens To Go Biblical | Now The End Begins
The U.S. is sending troops to the Middle East in response to the surge in violence between Israel and Hezbollah and as the region teeters on the edge of an all-out war.
All the elements are in place right now for an all-out regional war in the Middle East, so much so that the United States is ramping up its military presence in the Gulf as they announced thousands more troops are right now in transit. For it’s part, Israel is literally bombing the stuffing out of Hezbollah in Lebanon as Netanyahu posts video warning citizens of Lebanon to leave immediately from areas that contain rocket and missile launching pads of Hezbollah.
“And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.” Jeremiah 15:20 (KJB)
Hezbollah has a reputed 100,000 trained terrorists in their army, and nearly 2,000 rockets and missiles in their arsenal, and they have long vowed to one day destroy Israel. Add to that their alliance with Syria and Iran, and all that together presents a formidable front. Yet strangely, even after intense attacks from the IDF and the IAF, terror leader Nasrallah has yet to issue the order for war with the Jews. What is holding them back? If they wait much longer, they won’t have very much left.

US announces it’s sending troops to the Middle East and warns Americans to leave Lebanon as Israel bombs Hezbollah
FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: The Pentagon announced on Monday that ‘additional’ service members would be deployed to join the 40,000 already stationed in the region along with a dozen warships and fighter jet squadrons. Israeli forces have ramped up their airstrikes deep inside Lebanon and the State Department has warned all Americans to leave as the risk of conflict spirals to levels not seen in years.
Tensions have reached boiling point in the last seven days, and started to deteriorate when pagers and walkie talkies owned by members of Hezbollah exploded in a coordinated attack last week. Devastating airstrikes by the Israeli military on Monday killed at least 100 people and injured another 400 in Lebanon as IDF warplanes pummeled targets across the country.
Terrified residents in Beirut and elsewhere received calls and texts warning them to move away from Hezbollah targets, with Lebanon’s information minister condemning the alerts as a tactic of ‘psychological war implemented by the enemy’. Schools have been closed early during the heavy attacks that have sparked calls for international intervention.
At the Pentagon, Press Secretary Gen. Pat Ryder would not confirm how many troops would be deployed or where they are going.
‘In light of the increased tensions in the Middle East, and out of an abundance of caution, we are sending a small number of additional US military personnel forward to augment our forces that are already in the region,’ he said.
‘Due to the unpredictable nature of ongoing conflict between Hezbollah and Israel and recent explosions throughout Lebanon, including Beirut, the U.S. Embassy urges U.S. citizens to depart Lebanon while commercial options still remain available,’ the State Department cautioned Saturday.
The number of troops deployed to U.S. Central Command grew from 34,000 to 40,000 in the aftermath of Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel. Navy warships are scattered across the region and anchored in the eastern Mediterranean Sea and the Gulf of Oman.
The U.S. has a single air craft carrier strike group, which includes the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln, in the region, after another departed for the Asia Pacific region. In addition, there are Navy destroyers in the Red Sea and six warships in the Eastern Mediterranean. READ MORE

The UN Just Adopted The “Pact For The Future” Which Lays The Foundation For A New “Global Order” | The Economic Collapse
While everyone was distracted, the global elite got exactly what they wanted. The UN adopted the “Pact for the Future” on September 22nd, and the mainstream media in the western world almost entirely ignored what was happening. Instead, the headlines urged us to just keep focusing on Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. Sadly, the vast majority of the population has never ever heard about the “Pact for the Future”, and so there was very little public debate about whether or not we should be adopting a document which lays the foundation for a new “global order”. The text of the “Pact for the Future” is available online, but hardly anyone will ever read it and many of the most important provisions are buried toward the end of the 56 page document. Of course everyone should take the time to actually read this document, because our leaders just committed us to an extremely insidious global agenda that literally covers just about every conceivable area of human activity.
September 22nd, 2024 is a day that will go down in infamy.
Once the “Pact for the Future” was formally adopted, the following was posted on the official UN website…
World leaders today adopted a Pact for the Future that includes a Global Digital Compact and a Declaration on Future Generations. This Pact is the culmination of an inclusive, years-long process to adapt international cooperation to the realities of today and the challenges of tomorrow. The most wide-ranging international agreement in many years, covering entirely new areas as well as issues on which agreement has not been possible in decades, the Pact aims above all to ensure that international institutions can deliver in the face of a world that has changed dramatically since they were created. As the Secretary-General has said, “we cannot create a future fit for our grandchildren with a system built by our grandparents.”
You would think that the “most wide-ranging international agreement in many years” would make headlines all over the planet.
But that didn’t happen.
The UN press release also boldly declares that the “Pact for the Future” will “lay the foundations” for a new “global order”…
“The Pact for the Future, the Global Digital Compact, and the Declaration on Future Generations open the door to new opportunities and untapped possibilities,” said the Secretary-General during his remarks at the opening of the Summit of the Future. The President of the General Assembly noted that the Pact would “lay the foundations for a sustainable, just, and peaceful global order – for all peoples and nations.”
The Pact covers a broad range of issues including peace and security, sustainable development, climate change, digital cooperation, human rights, gender, youth and future generations, and the transformation of global governance.
I don’t want to live in a new “global order” that includes “all peoples and all nations”.
I am sure that most of you feel the exact same way.
Another page on the official UN website tells us that “UN 2.0” is all about creating a “modern UN family”…
Halfway through the 2030 Agenda, the world is not on track to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. It is not too late to change course, if we all rethink, refocus, and recharge. “UN 2.0” encapsulates the Secretary-General’s vision of a modern UN family, rejuvenated by a forward-thinking culture and empowered by cutting-edge skills for the twenty-first century – to turbocharge our support to people and planet.
We will strive towards this vision with a powerful fusion of innovation, data, digital, foresight and behavioural science skills and culture – a dynamic combination that we call the “Quintet of Change”. It is about evolution towards more agile, diverse, responsive, and impactful UN organizations.
That sounds so cozy, doesn’t it?
Who wouldn’t want to be a part of a “family”, right?
But the truth is that the agenda that they intend to impose on all of us will not be pleasant at all.
Over the years, much has been written about how insidious the UN’s “Sustainable Development Goals” are.
Well, the UN is openly admitting that the “Pact for the Future” was specifically designed “to turbo-charge implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals”…
- The entire Pact is designed to turbo-charge implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
- The most detailed agreement ever at the United Nations on the need for reform of the international financial architecture so that it better represents and serves developing countries, including:
- Giving developing countries a greater say in how decisions are taken at international financial institutions;
- Mobilizing more financing from multilateral development banks to help developing countries meet their development needs;
- Reviewing the sovereign debt architecture to ensure that developing countries can borrow sustainably to invest in their future, with the IMF, UN, G20 and other key players working together;
- Strengthening the global financial safety net to protect the poorest in the event of financial and economic shocks, through concrete actions by the IMF and Member States;
- and accelerating measures to address the challenge of climate change, including through delivering more finance to help countries adapt to climate change and invest in renewable energy.
- Improving how we measure human progress, going beyond GDP to capturing human and planetary wellbeing and sustainability.
- A commitment to consider ways to introduce a global minimum level of taxation on high-net-worth individuals.
- On climate change, confirmation of the need to keep global temperature rise to 1.5 °C above pre-industrial levels and to transition away from fossil fuels in energy systems to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
In one way or another, all forms of human activity contribute to “climate change”.
And so they intend to strictly regulate all forms of human activity in order to meet their twisted goals.
The “Pact for the Future” also recognizes a “central role” for the UN and a “coordinated and multidimensional international response” whenever future “global shocks” arise…
We recognize the need for a more coherent, cooperative, coordinated and multidimensional international response to complex global shocks and the central role of the United Nations in this regard. Complex global shocks are events that have severely disruptive and adverse consequences for a significant proportion of countries and the global population, and that lead to impacts across multiple sectors, requiring a multidimensional and whole-of-government, whole-of-society response.
The next time that there is a major global crisis, do you want the UN running the show and telling everyone what to do?
I tried to warn everyone about this.
I have written extensively about the “Pact for the Future”, but in the end only a very small sliver of the population got fired up about it.
Now the global elite have achieved their goal, and the opposition that they encountered was barely perceptible.

If you pay attention, you can often spot the compulsion by various groups and individuals who desire to bring about global control over every nation on earth. One such effort involves the U.N. Summit of the Future that is underway.
The United Nations describes it this way: “The Summit of the Future is a high-level event, bringing world leaders together to forge a new international consensus on how we deliver a better present and safeguard the future.
Effective global cooperation is increasingly critical to our survival but difficult to achieve in an atmosphere of mistrust, using outdated structures that no longer reflect today’s political and economic realities.”
The summit will adopt 3 agreements: A pact for the future, a global digital compact and a declaration on future generations.
The U.N. reported that, “…they adopted the potentially game-changing Pact for the Future by consensus-with a small group of just seven countries holding out, having failed to pass a last minute amendment. The centerpiece of the Summit of the Future is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reimagine the multi-lateral system and steer humanity on a new course, to meet existing commitments and solve long-term challenges.”

What Do They Know? China Instructs Citizens To Leave Israel, The U.S. Sends Troops, And Israel Imposes A “Special Situation On The Home Front” | End Of The American Dream
The situation in the Middle East has started to spiral completely out of control, and it appears that just about everyone is bracing for a major escalation. The Chinese are telling their citizens to leave Israel, the Biden administration is sending more troops to the region, and the Israeli government has suddenly decided that now is the time to declare a “special situation on the home front” which grants the IDF extensive authority to issue orders to the general public. Obviously all three have become convinced that something really big is coming. What do they know that the rest of us do not?
In recent days, many countries have instructed their citizens to leave Lebanon, but I was quite stunned to learn that the Chinese have also told their citizens to evacuate from Israel…
China’s embassy in Israel has asked its citizens to leave the country and return to China in a Sunday night statement.
The embassy added that Chinese citizens should not travel to Israel for the time being.
I think that this is actually a prudent move.
When all-out war erupts, there won’t be anywhere in the entire region that is truly safe.
As I have discussed previously, U.S. citizens have already been instructed to leave Lebanon, and now more U.S. troops are being deployed to the region…

Most Americans don’t realize this yet, but when all-out war erupts in the Middle East the U.S. will be involved.
In Israel, a “special situation on the home front” has been officially declared for the entire country…
On Monday evening, the government approved the declaration of a “special situation on the home front” throughout Israel, following the most intense day of fighting between Israel and Hezbollah since October.
The declaration of the “special situation” significantly expands the IDF’s powers to issue instructions to the Israeli public, allowing it to ban gatherings, limit studies, and issue “additional instructions required to save lives.”
This is a really big deal.
Just imagine what it would be like if the president of the United States gave the U.S. military special authority over cities throughout the United States.
This is quite a dramatic move, and so Israeli officials must believe that all-out war is imminent.
Of course at this point it is difficult to see how an all-out war can be avoided. On Monday, we witnessed “the deadliest day of fighting between Israel and Hezbollah since 2006”…
Missiles slammed into southern Lebanon, shattering the early-morning silence Monday and reportedly killing more than 490 people as Israel said it was targeting Hezbollah weapons hidden in residential buildings. The explosions came as Israel heralded a new wave of attacks on the Iran-backed group in Lebanon, warning civilians to flee from any buildings or areas where the organization had weapons or fighters positioned.
Lebanon’s health ministry said the strikes killed 492 people, including 35 children and 58 women, and wounded 1,645 people, The Associated Press reported. Monday marked the deadliest day of fighting between Israel and Hezbollah since 2006. The death toll also surpassed the deaths from the 2020 explosion at the Port of Beirut that killed nearly 200 people, injured thousands and devastated entire neighborhoods in the Lebanese capital.
We are so close to the unthinkable, and Israel has some decisions to make.
At this point, experts are telling us that Israel has three main options…
There are three options for Israeli planners to consider: air strikes; a massive, Gaza-style invasion; and a “limited” incursion to set up a “buffer zone”.
The first is, of course, the safest. Mr Gallant, the defence minister – no dove, even by Israeli standards – is said to have argued for this option.
It does not commit troops on the ground, avoids the risk of a quagmire, and would not require committing ground forces while the main effort in Gaza (and, increasingly, the West Bank) is still under way.
I would disagree with that assessment.
A “limited” incursion simply is not possible. Hezbollah has stated that it will be all-out war the moment that the IDF crosses into southern Lebanon, and I believe that they are deadly serious about that.
When all-out war erupts, Israel won’t just be fighting Hezbollah. In such a scenario, Israel will be fighting Hezbollah’s entire alliance…
Israel would also have to contend with Hezbollah’s strategic depth. The group is part of an Iran-led axis of militants spanning Yemen, Syria, Gaza and Iraq. Some of these groups have increased coordination significantly since October, when Israel launched a war in Gaza after Hamas-led militants attacked the country. This axis is known in Israel as the “ring of fire.”
For nearly a year, Hezbollah’s partners in the region have been engaged in a simmering conflict with Israel and its allies. Yemen’s Houthis have sporadically fired at vessels in the Red Sea, an artery of global trade, as well as on Israel. Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of hardline Shia factions, has also launched attacks on US positions in that country. The axis has conditioned the cessation of those hostilities on a ceasefire in Gaza, rebranding themselves as a “supportive front” for Palestinians in Gaza, as described by a senior Hezbollah leader.
Israel possesses far superior weaponry, but the combined forces of the Iranian-led “axis of resistance” would vastly outnumber Israeli forces.
A former Major General in the IDF has told the Jerusalem Post that an all-out war with the entire alliance could have disastrous consequences for Israel…
Itzhak Brik, a former Major General in the IDF, told the Jerusalem Post that a full-scale war with Iran and its proxies could ultimately result in the destruction of the state of Israel.
‘Iran and its proxies have 250,000 missiles, rockets, and drones encircling Israel, which means about 4,000 munitions hitting the Israeli home front on a daily basis.
‘Population centres, Haifa Bay, water and electricity facilities, gas fields [in the Mediterranean Sea], IDF bases, and strategic civilian infrastructure… A regional war can ruin the State of Israel,’ he concluded.
Of course the truth is that Benjamin Netanyahu would never allow things to get that far.
If push comes to shove, he will not hesitate to use ultra-powerful weapons that the other side does not possess.
So let us hope that one side or the other backs down before we reach a point of no return.
We are also rapidly reaching a point of no return in Ukraine.
The Ukrainians want to use long-range missiles provided by NATO to strike targets all over Russia, and many NATO officials are very much in support of this dangerous proposal…
“Every nation that is attacked has the right to defend itself,” said Admiral Rob Bauer, speaking at the close of the NATO committee’s annual meeting. “And that right doesn’t stop at the border of your own nation.”
I wonder if the shoe were on the other foot and Russia was sending long-range missiles to Mexico with instructions and training on how to use them against American cities if the esteemed admiral would say Mexico had a “right” to fire those Russian missiles northward.
The consequences of these comments are absolutely stunning, and yet they are made with the flippancy of a Cub Scout leader deciding which is the best way to sharpen a pocket knife.
This is a “red line” that we must not cross.
The Russians have warned us over and over again that we are on a path that leads to nuclear war, and just the other day a Russian television channel broadcast a video that imagined what a nuclear strike on London would look like…
A devastating nuclear strike on London causing 850,000 deaths with two million injured has been simulated by a staunchly pro-Putin propaganda TV channel.
Broadcasting the four minute video with an English commentary appears to be the latest move in a concerted campaign to scare Britain from giving permission to Ukraine to allow Storm Shadow missiles to hit targets inside Russia.
Vladimir Putin’s propagandists and entourage have repeatedly warned that he could use nuclear weapons.
Many people are convinced that western leaders have everything under control and that they know exactly what they are doing.
Those people would be wrong.
I have been warning about the war in Ukraine and the war in the Middle East for years, and many others have been issuing similar warnings.
But our leaders don’t listen to people like us.
They think that they have everything figured out, but the truth is that their arrogance shall be their undoing.
Of course they will not be the only ones to suffer.
Unfortunately, all of us will have to deal with the consequences as thousands of missiles fly back and forth all over the planet.

Lawmakers Prepare for ‘Mass Casualty’ Event, Push Constitutional Amendment to Undermine Election Integrity and Control House Vacancies in a ‘National Crisis’ | The Gateway Pundit
As political tensions rise in the U.S., Congress is preparing for the possibility of a major “mass casualty event” that could dramatically change its makeup.
With recent assassination attempts and increasingly heated public discourse, lawmakers are considering drastic steps, including a possible Constitutional Amendment that would allow for the direct appointment of House representatives in the event of mass vacancies.
According to the Constitution, any emerging vacancies in the House must be filled through elections, unlike Senate vacancies which can be filled by appointment.
However, following the events of 9/11, a law was enacted to enable rapid elections if over 100 House seats are vacant—supposedly to keep the government running as smoothly as possible by expediting the process.
But now, with the shadow of political violence looming large, lawmakers are opportunistically pushing for a system where governors can swiftly appoint new members to Congress, fundamentally circumventing the People’s right to directly elect these individuals by vote.
On Thursday, during a subcommittee hearing on “Preparing for the Future by Learning From the Past,” lawmakers gathered to discuss the amendment.
Rep. Derek Kilmer (WA-D), a leading proponent of the bill, stated during the hearing, “Congress hasn’t fully considered the implications of a mass casualty event affecting members and the impact it would have on our ability to function in a time of need.”
In other words, they are about to consider it. Kilmer is pushing for the bill to be called to the floor for a vote.
Under the proposed legislation, elected representatives would be required to compile a list of potential successors deemed qualified to serve in Congress.
In the event that a House member’s seat becomes vacant due to death or incapacitation, a state governor would have only 10 days to appoint someone from this list, allowing for a replacement until a special election can be held.
Although intended as a temporary measure until special elections are held, it raises the question of whether unforeseen emergencies could arise, delaying the election, allowing unelected representatives to remain in office longer than expected.
The bill could set a dangerous precedent, particularly in a time when public trust in the electoral process is already fragile.
In fact, it’s no surprise that the discussions regarding the bill come just weeks before the 2024 presidential election is set to take place.
Following the election in 2020, Trump supporters stood in unity at the Capitol building on January 6th, to protest the certification of the election over fears that their votes were disenfranchised by fraudulent activity.
During the protest, supporters were ushered into the building by officers in what appeared to be a false flag operation to frame patriots as insurrections, despite no proof of the claim and therefore no insurrection charges against anyone arrested.
Many Republican voters are understandably on edge as we approach the upcoming election as the fears of disenfranchisement that marked the last election continue to grow.
Unlike last time, voters are now more aware of potential fraud as they prepare to scrutinize the electoral process closely. The moment voters get a whiff of suspected fraud, there will likely be an immediate uproar.
This begs the question of if this recent legislative maneuvering is a desperate attempt by the regime to shield itself from the inevitable backlash of a population that feels betrayed yet again. Are they gearing up for not just for an electoral contest, but a full-scale confrontation from the people whose votes they continue to undermine?
The implications are chilling.
Ultimately, it’s clear that the elite in Washington are more concerned about maintaining their power than truly representing those they are meant to serve, and this bill further proves that.

The False Gospel of Global Warming | Standing for Freedom Center
This quasi-religious movement, with its dogma, evangelism, prophets, sins, and heretics, is the outworking of the blindness Paul describes in Romans 1:25, whereby the people “exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised.”
In recent years, the climate change discourse has moved beyond anything that sounds like a simple scientific debate, morphing into rhetoric that resembles religious fervor far more than fact-based environmental concern.
And I’m not the only one who thinks this. Ken Hamm, the director of Answers in Genesis and the Ark Encounter, recently commented, “Climate change has become a big topic in Western countries. But I say it’s not just a topic; it’s actually a religion—a religion that worships the creation with man acting as god. The climate change cultists have rejected the God of creation and His Word (the Bible).”
Pastor and conservative commentator Darrell B. Harrison has also pointed out:
“Climate change is a religion. And like every religion, it has a theology (doctrine of god) [Gaia/“Mother Earth”], a hamartiology (doctrine of sin) [use of fossil fuels], and a soteriology (doctrine of salvation) [population reduction]. It also has its evangelists, people who proselytize a “gospel” that is grounded in fear, ignorance, and intolerance of those who refuse to acquiesce to their pagan worldview.”
Hamm and Harrison are right — climate change has become a new religion. This transformation has given rise to what might be called “The Gospel of Global Warming,” a doctrine where belief in radical climate change agendas has adopted the trappings of a fanatical cult.
Let’s consider some of the elements of the (false) gospel of global warming.
The Dogma of Climate Catastrophe
Like any religion, the climate change movement has its dogma, which is “a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true.” In Christian terms, the climate change movement has developed what we could call its own theological doctrine.
Central to their dogma is the ironclad belief in an impending apocalypse, a catastrophic end brought about by humanity’s sins against nature, primarily through carbon emissions and “overpopulation.” This narrative mirrors the eschatological aspects of many religions, including Christianity, where the end times are brought about by human misconduct.
However, where Christianity teaches about God appointing a time when Jesus Christ will return to judge the world in righteousness, the climate religion holds out an “end times” of rising sea levels, devastating storms, and mass extinctions.
Prophets and Scriptures
The prophets of this new religion are relatively easy to find. Scientists, activists, and certain politicians have taken on the role, predicting doom with a certainty that often eschews the nuanced uncertainty inherent in scientific inquiry.
Their “inspired scriptures” are the reports of corrupted bodies like the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
The activists and scientists interpret their data with the same enthusiasm as sacred texts. No matter how often their findings are disproven, they treat these reports as inerrant, inspired, “holy” scripture. And every weather anomaly or natural disaster (such as commonly occurring hurricanes, fires, floods, and blizzards) is cited as evidence of their prophecies coming true.
Sin and Atonement
In this religion, the original sin is using fossil fuels and carbon emissions. Humanity’s penance involves carbon offsets, renewable energy investments, and lifestyle changes preached with moralistic zeal (though the loudest advocates against these “sins” all seem to fly on private jets. Odd).
Here, atonement isn’t found through believing in Jesus Christ’s work on the cross, His perfect blood shed for our sins, or in prayer or good deeds as other religions might teach but by “going green” and reducing one’s carbon footprint.
Evangelism and Conversion
The spread of this global warming gospel relies heavily on what looks almost exactly like Christian evangelism. Campaigns to “save the planet” often employ tactics reminiscent of religious revival meetings, seeking converts with emotional appeals and the promise of salvation from the climate apocalypse.
Schools, media, and public campaigns serve as missionaries, spreading the “good word” of saving the glaciers and the importance of depopulation.
Heretics and Deniers
Every religion has its heretics, and in the climate change religion, these are the so-called “climate deniers.” Just as heretics in religious history were ostracized or worse, individuals questioning the mainstream climate narrative face professional repercussions and public shaming and are often labeled as anti-science despite the debate within scientific communities being far from settled.
The Gospel of Global Warming vs. Christianity
The “Gospel of Global Warming” has indeed become a quasi-religious movement for many, complete with its dogma, evangelism, prophets, sins, and heretics. For some, the intention behind addressing what they call “climate change” is rooted in a genuine concern for the planet’s future. But for the vast majority of the “leading lights” on this issue, it’s little more than a power play wrapped in the garb of environmental Marxism. As such, the approach has taken on deeply zealous overtones that obscure the scientific nuances of the debate and foster an environment where belief trumps genuine inquiry and the pursuit of truth.
And it is indeed a false gospel. It is the outworking of the blindness Paul denounces in Romans 1:25, the people who “exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.”
The new cult of climate change demands that its adherents worship the creation instead of the Creator. It offers a fake account of sin, Scripture, salvation, and the end times.
On the other hand, Christianity tells us the truth — and not just about this world but about us. It speaks of sin against a Holy Creator God, not the inanimate atmosphere. It warns of the real judgment that awaits every soul when Christ returns, not the “vengeance” of angry “Mother Earth.” And it offers a real message of salvation in the cross, not the penance of purchasing carbon credits for driving your car.
Once you realize that climate change is functioning as a new religion, you can spot and reject the false gospel of global warming.
Embrace the true Gospel of our Creator God instead, who promised us that “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease” (Genesis 8:22).
