There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
Are secular universities intentionally shaping a generation of Marxists? Parents and students need to be aware of the social and political atmosphere that awaits them when they step foot on a college campus. How should Christian students respond when they encounter professors and peers pushing views that are in high opposition with their faith?
Last week, Dr. Owen Anderson shared five key philosophical challenges Christian students will likely face during their college years. This week, he’s back with five more, breaking down the flaws in these worldviews, how they infiltrated universities, and how to defend Christianity against them.
Are some professors secretly promoting Marxist ideas?
Why is student activism at an all-time high and how are colleges preying on the 18-25 age group?
Is logic being dismissed as a “white” concept?
How are existentialism, Marxism, and LGBTQ+ ideologies working together to steer students away from truth?
Don’t miss this eye-opening conversation that will help Christian parents and students stay grounded in biblical truth and resist woke indoctrination!

A quiet time. What is it? Why do we need it? Does it matter?
A quiet time. What is it? Why do we need it? Does it matter? And honestly, the name is a little bit maybe weird. So, if you’ve never heard of it before, it’s okay; you’re not alone. There has kind of become a trend of creating a materialistic quiet time. And what I mean by that is A quiet time. What is it? Why do we need it? Does it matter? And honestly, the name is a little bit maybe weird. So, if you’ve never heard of it before, it’s okay; you’re not alone. There has kind of become a trend of creating a materialistic quiet time. And what I mean by that is we need all of this stuff to meet God. A really fancy Bible, or we need a bunch of highlighters and fancy pens. Maybe we need stickers or coffee and music and a cute living room. By the time we’re done, we will have this magnificent Instagram set showing how to study the Bible. And we’ve actually missed the entire point. The goal of a quiet time should be intimacy with the Savior of your soul. That’s it. And the elements that make that possible are the Word of God and prayer.

See, my soul, in the prophet’s example, the blessedness of living above creature enjoyments, by living upon Creator fulness. Here is a sun, which never goes down! Here is a fountain, whose streams can never dry up! He that lives upon creature excellency, will want both food and comfort when that excellency dies, for they must die with it, when the period of its flourishing is over. But the soul that draws all from Jesus, the God of his salvation, will have Jesus and his salvation to live upon, and to be an everlasting source, when nature, in all its varieties, ceases to supply. My soul! what are thy resources for a day of famine? Canst thou join issue with the prophet? If blasting, or mildew, or frost, shall nip the fig-tree of its blossom; if both the vine and the olive fail; yea, if the staff of life, as well as the sweets of life, should all be gone; hast thou Jesus to live upon; canst thou rejoice in him, when there is nothing else left to rejoice in; and call him thine, and the God of thy salvation, when none will own thee, and thou hast none beside him to own? They say that music upon the waters always sounds best. Be this so or not, yet the melody of the soul is certainly sweetest when nature is out of tune, and the believer can take his harp from the willow and sing aloud on the tribulated waters of sorrow, to the God of his salvation. And this is a song never out of season, but of peculiar joy in the note, when from a new strung heart, the believer sings it of the God of his salvation, and addresses it to the God of his salvation. Blessed Lord Jesus! give me grace, like the prophet, so to sing and so to triumph, that since, lose what I may, I cannot lose thee, while thy creature comforts remain, I may enjoy them, from enjoying thee in them: and when all are taken away, still having thee for my portion, may I sing aloud with the prophet, though all earthly enjoyments cease, “I will still rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.”1
Bounteous is Jehovah in his nature; to give is his delight. His gifts are beyond measure precious, and are as freely given as the light of the sun. He gives grace to his elect because he wills it, to his redeemed because of his covenant, to the called because of his promise, to believers because they seek it, to sinners because they need it. He gives grace abundantly, seasonably, constantly, readily, sovereignly; doubly enhancing the value of the boon by the manner of its bestowal. Grace in all its forms he freely renders to his people: comforting, preserving, sanctifying, directing, instructing, assisting grace, he generously pours into their souls without ceasing, and he always will do so, whatever may occur. Sickness may befall, but the Lord will give grace; poverty may happen to us, but grace will surely be afforded; death must come but grace will light a candle at the darkest hour. Reader, how blessed it is as years roll round, and the leaves begin again to fall, to enjoy such an unfading promise as this, “The Lord will give grace.”
The little conjunction “and” in this verse is a diamond rivet binding the present with the future: grace and glory always go together. God has married them, and none can divorce them. The Lord will never deny a soul glory to whom he has freely given to live upon his grace; indeed, glory is nothing more than grace in its Sabbath dress, grace in full bloom, grace like autumn fruit, mellow and perfected. How soon we may have glory none can tell! It may be before this month of October has run out we shall see the Holy City; but be the interval longer or shorter, we shall be glorified ere long. Glory, the glory of heaven, the glory of eternity, the glory of Jesus, the glory of the Father, the Lord will surely give to his chosen. Oh, rare promise of a faithful God!
THEN went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.
16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.
Men who wish to ensnare us begin with flattery. Let us beware of smooth speeches.
17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Cæsar, or not?
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
21 They say unto him, Cæsar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Cæsar the things which are Cæsar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s. (By using Cæsar’s coinage they confessed their subjection to his authority, and they were bound to act accordingly. Civil rulers are to be obeyed in civil things, but they must not touch religion, that is the sphere of God alone. Attention to this rule would be a great blessing both to Church and State.)
22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
23 ¶ The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
25–27 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. And last of all the woman died also.
28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
29–32 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
A most conclusive reply, which shut the mouths of the Sadducees, and showed the Saviour’s infinite superiority to their fancied wisdom.
33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
34 ¶ But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37–40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
41, 42 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.
43–45 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? (This was a puzzle for them, out of which they could not see their way, and thus Jesus left the field victorious over all his foes.)
46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
Jeremiah 1:2-3 — Welcome to Jeremiah, the words of the “Weeping Prophet!” Jeremiah’s prophecy started in 627 BC under Josiah the Reformer who was about the same age as Jeremiah. This is in the middle of the three-stage revival:
AGE 15: Josiah sought God (633 BC)
AGE 19: Josiah purged idols (629 BC)
AGE 26: Josiah repairs temple and finds lost book (623 BC)
Jeremiah 1:6 — Who else had an excuse for why they could not speak? Moses (Exodus 4:10)!
Jeremiah 2:3 — This was visualized in the engraved plate that the high priest wore (Exodus 39:30). How ironic! The people were separated unto the LORD (holy), and yet they left the LORD (Jeremiah 2:5).
Jeremiah 2:8 — The ignorant lawyers (students of God’s Law, not man’s law), the transgressing pastors, and the unprofitable prophets of Baal pursued sinful activities. Sadly, even today we consistently hear of pastors who admit to marital infidelity or financial scandal. Their sinfulness brings ill repute against the LORD.
Jeremiah 2:11 — Hath a nation changed their gods? Egypt was a polytheist nation except for a brief period under Akhenaten, but then under famous King Tut, they returned quickly back to polytheism. There has long been recognized a connection between cult (religion) and culture (nation). As Christianity overtook paganism in the Roman empire, the Roman empire itself crumbled. The Protestant Reformation led to civil war in the pre-modern-German “Holy Roman Empire.” The English executed a king (Charles I) as they transitioned to Puritanism.
Jeremiah 2:19 — The scariest thing to happen to a believer is when God lets their own wickedness correct them! God does not need to add additional punishment, He can let them experience the natural result of their own choices.
Philippians 4:1 — Notice the contrast between Jeremiah 2:29 (where Jeremiah expresses God’s disgust for His people) and this passage where Paul calls his audience “dearly beloved” brethren.
Philippians 4:17 — This is the same Greek word (λόγον) as used in Jesus’ parables – Matthew 12:36 (giving account of our idle words), Matthew 18:23 (taking account of debts), Matthew 25:19 (the Master reckoning with the talents), and Luke 16:2 (unjust steward’s account of thy stewardship). Then in Romans 14:12 we are told that we will give an account (λόγον) to God. How can we add fruit to our other-worldly account? Giving to God.
Philippians 4:22 — Jesus has followers everywhere even in Caesar’s household!
Psalm 75:6-7 — It’s amazing to see throughout history surprising election results:
And don’t forget Nate Silver – the king of modern poll-analysis, on his election morning final prediction:
Proverbs 24:17-20 — Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls, nor be envious of his success. Whether he is “rising” or “falling” (that’s irrelevant), keep your eye on the LORD and not on evil men!

He that walketh uprightly walketh surely.Proverbs 10:9
His walk may be slow, but it is sure. He that hasteth to be rich shall not be innocent nor sure; but steady perseverance in integrity, if it does not bring riches, will certainly bring peace. In doing that which is just and right, we are like one walking upon a rock, for we have confidence that every step we take is upon solid and safe ground. On the other hand, the utmost success through questionable transactions must always be hollow and treacherous, and the man who has gained it must always be afraid that a day of reckoning will come, and then his gains will condemn him.
Let us stick to truth and righteousness. By God’s grace let us imitate our Lord and Master, in whose mouth no deceit was ever found. Let us not be afraid of being poor, nor of being treated with contempt. Never, on any account whatever, let us do that which our conscience cannot justify. If we lose inward peace, we lose more than a fortune can buy. If we keep in the Lord’s own way and never sin against our conscience, our way is sure against all comers. Who is he that can harm us if we be followers of that which is good? We may be thought fools by fools if we are firm in our integrity; but in the place where judgment is infallible we shall be approved.
Stem cells reverse woman’s diabetes — a world first She is the first person with type 1 diabetes to receive this kind of transplant. A 25-year-old woman with type 1 diabetes started producing her own insulin less than three months after receiving a transplant of reprogrammed stem cells1. She is the first person with the disease to be treated using cells that were extracted from her own body. The woman asked to remain anonymous to protect her privacy. James Shapiro, a transplant surgeon and researcher at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, says the results of the surgery are stunning. “They’ve completely reversed diabetes in the patient, who was requiring substantial amounts of insulin beforehand.”
California Passes Law Protecting Consumer Brain Data On Saturday, Governor Gavin Newsom of California signed a new law that aims to protect people’s brain data from being potentially misused by neurotechnology companies. The new law, which passed both the California State Assembly and the Senate with no voter opposition, amends the state’s current personal privacy law — known as the California Consumer Privacy Act — by including “neural data” under “personal sensitive information.”

Iranian cleric: ‘Jews have had access to genies since Davidic times’?? Cleric claims in televised interview that Israel was able to eliminate Hassan Nasrallah by employing the aid of supernatural creatures and advanced technologies the Jews have supposedly had for 3,000 years. As Israel continues to demonstrate impressive intelligence capabilities by eliminating much of the leadership of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, some of its enemies are reportedly attributing supernatural powers to the Jewish State. Iranian opposition news site Iran International published a recording from a televised interview given by an Iranian cleric close to the Ayatollah’s regime accusing the Jewish people of trapping and employing djinn, or genies, for three thousand years, as well as using science fiction technology.

Lebanese leaders continue push for ceasefire despite continued Israeli strikes on Hezbollah Lebanon’s Information Minister Ziad Makary said Sunday that the country remains committed to pursuing a ceasefire through diplomatic means. Makary’s remarks came during a cabinet meeting on Sunday after the death of Hezbollah General Secretary Hassan Nasrallah had been confirmed. “It is certain that the Lebanese government wants a ceasefire, and everyone knows that [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu went to New York based on the premise of a ceasefire, but the decision was made to assassinate Nasrallah,” Makary said.

After being appointed Israel’s new Sephardic chief rabbi, David Yosef vows to ‘unify the people of Israel’ Rabbi David Yosef has been elected as Israel’s next Sephardic chief rabbi, according to an announcement by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel on Sunday. As the favored candidate, Yosef secured the support of 72 of the 140 members of the Chief Rabbi Election Assembly. The Chief Rabbinate is a century-old body that manages Jewish religious life in Israel, divided between Sephardim – Jews of Spanish or Middle Eastern descent – and Ashkenazim, Jews of German or East European descent.
Hezbollah surface-to-air missile warehouse near Beirut destroyed As part of the waves of strikes in Lebanon, in a precise strike by the Israeli Air Force, fighter jets targeted infrastructure holding a surface-to-air missile launcher positioned near Beirut’s international airport. This infrastructure, like other infrastructure of Hezbollah’s Aerial Defense Array, are spread across Lebanon and pose a threat to the international aviation space. The IDF stated that “Hezbollah’s Aerial Defense Array is equipped with surface-to-air missile batteries which are hidden within civilian infrastructure, taking cover behind Lebanon’s civilian population.
Victory for Ben-Gvir: The body of terrorist Walid Daka will not be released The Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, commented “I welcome the fact that the Supreme Court did not intervene in the cabinet’s decision, which was made in accordance with my position, that the bodies of Arab-Israeli terrorists, foremost among them the despicable terrorist Walid Daka, should be held for negotiation purposes. As long as Hamas continues to hold our captives, all possible pressure must be applied for their release.”
Yoav Gallant: ‘The next stage in war against Hezbollah is about to begin’ He added that “the next stage in the war against Hezbollah is about to begin. It will be a significant factor in changing the security situation and will enable us to complete the important stage of returning the residents to their homes. We will do this, and as I said here a month ago, we are going to shift the center of gravity. Now I say that “We will change the situation and return the residents home, regardless of what is involved.”
Helene’s death toll tops 130 as supplies arrive to isolated communities by plane and by mule Widespread devastation from Hurricane Helene came to light Monday across the South, revealing a wasteland of splintered houses, crushed cargo containers, and mud-covered highways in one of the worst storms in U.S. history. In western North Carolina, residents stranded by washed-out roads, and a lack of power and cell service lined up for fresh water and a chance to message loved ones. At least 133 deaths in six Southeastern states are attributed to the storm that inflicted damage from Florida’s Gulf Coast to Virginia’s Appalachian Mountains.
600 missing in Buncombe County NC after mountains slammed by Helene flooding A North Carolina County that includes the city of Asheville reported 30 people killed. Over 600 were still missing in Buncombe County. Many people are cut off by impassable roads. Supplies were being airlifted to the region around Asheville, in western North Carolina’s mountains.

Israel begins ‘limited’ ground offensive against Hezbollah in Lebanon Israeli ground forces moved into southern Lebanon early Tuesday (Israel time), marking a significant escalation of an offensive against Hezbollah militants and opening a new front in a yearlong war against its Iranian-backed adversaries.
US deploying more troops, aircraft to Middle East Secretary Austin and defense leaders remain focused on protection of U.S. citizens and forces in the region, defense of Israel, and de-escalation of the situation through deterrence and diplomacy, Pentagon press secretary Ryder said. “Secretary Austin made clear that should Iran, its partners, or its proxies use this moment to target American personnel or interests in the region, the United States will take every necessary measure to defend our people,” he added. The statement also said the Defense Dept would “further reinforce” the U.S. military’s air defense support in the region in the coming days.
US forces accounted for after reported rocket attack in Baghdad, official says Multiple Katyusha rockets were fired near Baghdad International Airport, Iraqi military officials told Reuters early on Oct. 1, but a US official disputed reports that US military forces were targeted. “All military personnel are accounted for, and military forces were not targeted as had been reported,” the US defense official said, speaking anonymously. The incident was a reminder of soaring Middle East tensions, as speculation about whether Iran and Iran-backed groups would make good on threats to retaliate after a series of Israeli major blows against Lebanon’s Iran-backed Hezbollah.
UN 2.0 Plotting Your Future with New “Pact” The UN and its member governments have been busy planning your future–of censorship, tyranny, global governance, indoctrination of children, and more–explains Alex Newman in this episode of Behind The Deep State after returning from the UN Summit of the Future. The summit adopted the UN “Pact for the Future.” Under the scheme, the UN would be empowered to deal not just with “peace” but to oversee everything from education and the environment to energy and more.
“It will not be doubted, that with reference either to individual, or National Welfare, Agriculture is of primary importance. Tim Walz and JD Vance’s 2024 VP debate is tonight (CBS News)
The AWOL administration: Hurricane Helene has taken its place among the worst natural disasters to ever hit our nation, with more than 130 people dead amid a path of destruction through the Southeast. But you wouldn’t know it by the response of the Biden-Harris administration. Neither the president nor the VP was in Washington this weekend to take charge in the aftermath of the devastating storm — Biden was relaxing on the beach, and Harris was fraternizing in Hollywood. Amid the uproar, Biden eventually announced plans to visit hard-hit North Carolina “later this week.” Harris, for her part, pulled herself off the campaign trail for a couple of hours, long enough to show up at FEMA headquarters and thank the staff for their work. “We will continue to do everything we can to help you recover and to help you rebuild no matter how long it takes,” Harris said. So long as it doesn’t interfere with her campaign schedule.
NC Dem governor candidate hobnobs in PA while state suffers: It’s a bad look. While western North Carolina is struggling to recover from devastating flooding brought by Hurricane Helene, Democrat gubernatorial candidate Josh Stein has been hobnobbing with Pennsylvania Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro. On Sunday, Democrat Representative Kathy Manning posted a picture on X featuring herself, Stein, and Shapiro with the message, “There’s no joshin’ around in NC06 when it comes to protecting democracy. Thanks to [Josh Shapiro] for coming to Greensboro to join me in supporting [Josh Stein] and Democrats up and down the ticket.” With at least 30 deaths in and around the Asheville area, the political message was tone-deaf at best. As one commenter responded, “You have to be kidding me. The Western part of the state has thousands of people missing. More than 30 dead, and you had a party here today? None of you deserve your jobs.” It will be interesting to see if Stein’s insensitive misstep costs him come November.
Walz’s Tiananmen Square big lie: Another Tim Walz lie has been exposed. During a 2014 congressional hearing on the 25th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre, then-Minnesota Representative Walz claimed that he was there. “I was just going to teach high school in Foshan in Guangdong and was in Hong Kong in May of ‘89. And as the events were unfolding, several of us went in. And I still remember the train station in Hong Kong.” He continued, “There was a large number of, especially European, I think, very angry that we would still go after what had happened, but it was my belief at that time that the diplomacy was going to happen on many levels.” However, Walz’s claims of being in China then are false. During the student protests in the spring of 1989 that culminated in the violent crackdown on June 4 in Beijing, Walz was nowhere near China; he was at his home in Nebraska and wouldn’t leave for China until August, arriving at least two months after the Tiananmen Square massacre. This is just another lie exposing the untrustworthy character of Kamala Harris’s running mate.
Jill Stein’s mortal threat to Kamala Harris’s candidacy: Recent polls have shown Donald Trump to be statistically tied with Kamala Harris in the Democrats’ must-win Rust Belt states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and the third-party candidacy of Jill Stein isn’t helping matters any. In these crucial swing states, with their considerable Arab-American communities, the Democrats have tried and failed to sufficiently appease Hamas in its existential war with Israel. And the Green Party’s Stein is all over it. As she says: “The Democrats cannot win without the support of the Muslim American community. And that community has left the station and is not coming back unless the Democrats decide that it’s more important to them to win the election than it is to conduct the genocide.” Stein added, “So they have to do a 180 on the genocide and they don’t appear willing to do that.” “Genocide” is an odd charge to level at the Jewish state, especially when its people are at war with an enemy sworn to its utter destruction. But this is what’s become of the Left.
The Bee sues speech-suppressing California: Leftists hate being made fun of almost as much as they love political power. These two truths no doubt animated California Governor Gavin Newsom’s decision last week to suppress political satire in his deep-blue state. Newsom, through a series of “deepfake” laws, has targeted purveyors of satire and parody like the conservative Babylon Bee, but the Bee isn’t inclined to stand for it. Indeed, it’s suing the Golden State because, as CEO Seth Dillon puts it, Newsom is targeting satirists “by requiring them to put disclaimers to let you know that this is parody that you’re reading right now — which completely stifles and kills the joke.” But that’s precisely the point. The Right has dominated the funny space in recent years because the Left has gotten weirder and weirder. Humor is a powerful political mover, and the Democrats can’t seem to compete in this space. Thus, the crackdown. “If we’re unable to publish satire without putting disclaimers all over it,” says Dillon, “and we’re going to face potential penalties if we don’t do that, then that’s a very serious issue too. So we’re fighting back.”

Israel invades Lebanon: How much geopolitical sway does Joe Biden command? Well, not much. On Monday, Biden warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against invading southern Lebanon to take out Hezbollah. Responding to a reporter’s question following Israel’s taking out of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Biden said, “I’m comfortable with them stopping. We should have a ceasefire now.” Hours later, Israel Defense Forces entered Lebanon. Early Tuesday morning, the IDF began its ground offensive against Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon. This is the first time IDF has crossed the border and engaged in ground combat with Hezbollah since its monthlong war with the Iran-backed terrorist organization in 2006. The IDF explained that this incursion was a “limited, localized, and targeted ground raid” against Hezbollah and that “these targets are located in villages close to the border and pose an immediate threat to Israeli communities in northern Israel.”

Women volleyball players stand up for themselves: In the latest example of women defending themselves against men masquerading as women, the Boise State women’s volleyball team decided to forfeit its game against San Jose State University this weekend rather than compete against a “transgender” player on the San Jose roster. Boise State thus becomes the second team this month to do so. In response to the Broncos’ bold announcement, an indignant NCAA offered a tone-deaf response: “College sports are the premier stage for women’s sports in America, and the NCAA members will continue to promote Title IX, make unprecedented investments in women’s sports and ensure fair competition for all student-athletes in all NCAA championships.” The NCAA just doesn’t get it. But Riley Gaines does. “Some principles transcend winning on the court,” said the former Kentucky swimmer and current champion of women’s sports. “The safety and well-being of female athletes is one of them. It’s encouraging to witness a growing number of institutions prioritizing fairness and athlete safety over forced inclusion. I hope to see more universities follow the lead of Boise State and Southern Utah, standing up for what’s right and protecting the integrity of women’s sports.”
Netflix subscribers cancel in droves after CEO donates to Harris: Mixing business with politics has rarely been a good idea. Netflix cofounder and CEO Reed Hastings endorsed Kamala Harris in July and revealed that he had donated $7 million to her campaign. Cue the negative business fallout from that move. Netflix reports that cancellations of the online streaming platform spiked at a higher rate than any month since February 2024. Netflix spun the spike as a response to the company announcing the phaseout of its lowest-price option. However, Bloomberg reported that “the five-day period after Hastings’ endorsement was unusual, even for July,” noting that the highest number of cancellations came just three days after Hastings revealed his endorsement and donation to Harris. While Hastings has been a longtime supporter of Democrats, it’s hard to shake the notion that customers ditched the service over his Harris endorsement. Later this month, Netflix’s subscription numbers will be released, and they will demonstrate if this cancellation spike was merely a blip or a more significant response.

Supply chain disruptions were a major factor in igniting inflation in 2021 and 2022, as producers and transporters struggled to keep up amidst a global pandemic. Government spending sent too much money chasing after too few goods, causing prices to skyrocket — a cumulative 20% and more like 50% on many things since Joe Biden and Kamala Harris took office.
What will happen now that tens of thousands of members of the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) walked off the job today? From Maine to Texas, port workers are now on strike after contract talks deadlocked with the U.S. Maritime Alliance (USMX). The strike will have a huge impact on the supply chain.
Roughly half of U.S. imports come through these ports — everything from bananas and chocolate to clothing and machinery. Exports are also substantial, including poultry, pork, and beef, as well as cars and pharmaceuticals. J.P. Morgan estimates the economic impact will be between $3.8 billion and $4.5 billion every day.
On top of that, huge swaths of Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and maybe especially North Carolina were just hit by the disaster of Hurricane Helene. Whole towns in western North Carolina are gone. At least 120 are dead, and millions need supplies.
What message does ILA chief Harold Daggett have?
“I will cripple you.”
Here’s the larger context:
When my men hit the streets from Maine to Texas, every single port will lock down. You know what’s going to happen? I’ll tell you. First week, it’ll be all over the news. Every night. Boom, boom. Second week, guys who sell cars can’t sell cars because the cars ain’t coming off the ship. They get laid off. Third week, malls start closing down. They can’t get the goods from China. They can’t sell clothes. Everything in the United States comes on a ship. They go out of business. Construction workers get laid off because the materials aren’t coming in. The steel is not coming in. The lumber’s not coming in. They lose their jobs. Then everybody’s hating the longshoremen because now they realize how important our jobs are.
He concluded by threatening that workers would barely do any work if forced back onto the job. “Who’s going to win here?” he asked. “Let’s get a contract and let’s move on with this world. Because in today’s world, I will cripple you. I will cripple you. And you have no idea what that means. Nobody does.”
What are the union’s demands?
According to The Wall Street Journal, “Port employers, pressed by Biden administration officials to resolve the impasse, raised their offer on wages to a 50% increase over six years, from an earlier 40% increase, along with other improvements in benefits in the 24 hours before the strike deadline. The ILA is seeking a 77% wage increase over six years as a condition to sit down to talks with maritime employers, according to a person familiar with the negotiations.”
A 50% wage increase is an astonishingly brazen demand. As I already mentioned, inflation has hit a cumulative 50% on many items and services since 2021, but virtually no other workers in the nation are getting wage increases that keep up with — much less surpass — cumulative inflation.
It’s the first ILA strike since 1977. Come to think of it, in 1977, the president was Jimmy Carter, who turns 100 today. His closest protégé, Joe Biden, who acts like he’s 100, is ostensibly still president for this strike. What a strange coincidence.
George W. Bush intervened in 2002 to shorten a West Coast strike, but Biden says he will not invoke the Taft-Hartley Act to order workers back on the job for another 80 days while negotiations continue. Just last year, Biden became the first president to show up on a picket line. He isn’t going to cross a union a month before the election.
The calculation for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz is this: If the strike is short, they will claim credit for the resolution. If, however, it ends up being a prolonged strike and the disruptions and price increases grow, they’ll seek to shift the blame somewhere else. Somehow, they’ll discover that this was all Donald Trump’s fault.

Americans have every right to be discouraged at the deteriorating world conditions. Everywhere we look in the world there is explosion and trouble. The world is falling apart.
Why has there been such an increase of trouble for the United States? Could it be that our sins are beginning to catch up with us? Centuries ago, Moses proclaimed to Israel that if she served God, she would be the most blessed of all nations, but if she disobeyed God, terrifying judgment would come: “And among those nations you shall find no rest, nor shall the sole of your foot have a resting place; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and anguish of soul. Your life shall hang in doubt before you; you shall fear day and night, and have no assurance of life” (Deuteronomy 28:65-66).
Moses warned that Israel’s enemies would conquer her if she disobeyed God. And we know the history of Israel—we know that Israel did disobey God and that she suffered one judgment after another.
Today our nation is following the same dangerous path. We worship the gods of secularism and materialism. God is displeased, and I warn you that His anger is being kindled. If ever a nation has enjoyed prosperity and the blessing of God, it is America. But instead of giving thanks to God, we have offered our reverence and worship to created things. As the Apostle Paul wrote, “They are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened” (Romans 1:20-21).
Could this be the difficulty with some of our leaders today? Has all the planning of the past few years by some of America’s most brilliant intellects begun to end in futility?
Paul said that although they boast of their wisdom, they have made fools of themselves. Then comes the awful judgment: “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts” (Romans 1:24). In other words, the Bible says there will come a day when a nation sins so much against God that God will give them up, and will allow them to go on for a time in pleasure, worldliness, idolatry, wickedness and immorality. The Scripture says that there is pleasure in sin for a season (Hebrews 11:25), but warns that the pleasure will be extremely short-lived and that judgment will follow.
“As they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness … who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them” (Romans 1:28-32). These words are from the Scriptures, but they sound like something taken from our daily news.
The Bible teaches that the kindness and patience of God are meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4). However, we have spurned God’s mercy and kindness to America and have gone deeper into sin. The Bible says that God will render indignation and wrath “to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness” (Romans 2:8).
From the beginning of the Bible to the end, God warns that any nation that departs from Him is going to suffer judgment. America has been given more spiritual and moral light than any nation in the history of the world. We have millions of Bibles at our disposal; there are hundreds of thousands of churches. Yet in spite of all this, we continue to be the most crime-ridden, the most divorce-prone, and the most immoral nation on earth. We spew the filth of pornography all over the world.
How long will God withhold His hand of judgment? I tell you it will not be long. Unless we as a nation repent and turn to God, we are going to suffer a judgment such as no nation has ever endured. The Prophet Ezekiel said: “Every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass,’ says the Lord God” (Ezekiel 21:7).
This day God is speaking to our nation in a thousand ways, urging us to repent of our sins and to turn to Him before it is too late. But as the Prophet Jeremiah said, “They have made their faces harder than rock; They have refused to return” (Jeremiah 5:3). So there is nothing left but judgment.
Three thousand years ago, when King Jehoshaphat ascended to the throne of David, his country, like ours, was surrounded by threatening foes. Earnestly and sincerely, King Jehoshaphat sought peace for his people. This great ruler was a man of God. The Bible says that “he walked in the former ways of his father David” and that he “sought the God of his father, and walked in His commandments. … And his heart took delight in the ways of the Lord” (2 Chronicles 17:3-4, 6).
I pray that God will give us candidates for office who are God-fearing, God-loving men and women. One of our deep-rooted troubles today is that so many of our leaders either do not know God or deliberately deny His existence by the way they live.
When the United Nations representatives met in London to frame their constitution, a delegate from the Republic of Panama was distressed because there was no reference to God in the proposed draft. He pleaded fervently for the Name of God to be included. He recalled that the Japanese and the Nazis had renounced God, and he demanded, “Where are they now?” The assembly remained silent. When the debate was closed and the vote was recorded, it was found that only Panama and Colombia favored the motion. As a New York newspaper reported at that time, “God was rejected.” How different this was from the attitude of our Founding Fathers who landed at Plymouth Rock! They knew they could not succeed without God; and so the constitution they penned—the Mayflower Compact—begins with the Name of God.
When King Jehoshaphat sought peace and social progress for his people, what was his course of action? Did he try new laws, new social plans, new educational projects and new financial programs? No. He went back to the Word of God. Jehoshaphat demanded that his people learn the Word of God, that they live by it and that they humble themselves before God.
When Judah returned to the teachings of the Bible, one of the most striking triumphs of military history occurred. When Jehoshaphat’s enemies—the Ammonites, the Moabites and the Edomites—made an alliance against Judah to destroy her, Jehoshaphat trusted God. And he sent into the field the strangest army that the world of warfare has ever witnessed. Ahead of his forces marched not infantry or cavalry, not men with swords and bows, but singers who chanted the Lord’s praises and the words of Scripture. No wonder that without fighting a battle, without losing a man, Judah put the enemy to flight! Obedience to the Word of God had brought peace.
If our nation at this hour would turn to the Word of God, then I guarantee on the authority of God’s Word that the enemies at our gates could be pushed back; God would intervene and put them to flight.
Visitors to Pitcairn Island in the South Pacific have compared the island to the Garden of Eden because it is a place of much happiness and contentment. It was first settled by mutineers and outlaws seeking to escape punishment. Because of the brutality that these criminals practiced on the little island (which was then only two miles long and one mile wide), it became filled with treachery, betrayal, racial strife, murder and war. Yet within 20 years after they had come to this island, the community had undergone a complete change. Harmony and goodwill reigned. Quarreling and cursing and war disappeared.
The people had turned to the Bible. They never began a meal without a prayer of thanksgiving. If during the day an islander had spoken hastily to his neighbor, he refused to let the sun go down on his wrath. On the Sabbath, everyone went to church. All business was stopped. They had no labor troubles, no social troubles, no racial problems. Why? Years earlier, before the criminals burned the ship on which they had mutinied, someone rescued its Bible; and that Word of God brought the people to Jesus Christ and made a small utopia out of a lonely island in the South Seas.
What would happen today if the Bible were the supreme authority in the United States, and if every individual in America would accept Christ as Savior and begin to live up to the terms of the Sermon on the Mount? Jesus Christ can solve the problems that the nation faces—the race problem, the crime problem, the home problem, the international problems. He can also lift the burdens that we have as individuals; He can reach the problems down in the innermost recesses of our own souls.
The things I have said here about the United States are largely true in other countries as well, so those nations also need to repent if they are to be spared the judgment of God.
But many of you have frustrations and difficulties on a personal level. You have a civil war raging inside of you. I want to tell you that Jesus Christ can solve that problem and lift that heavy burden. He can bring peace to your soul.
Scripture quotations are taken from The Holy Bible, New King James Version.
Don’t Wait
A day will come when it is too late to turn to Christ, and judgment will be upon you. Put your faith in Him today! Ask God to forgive you and save your soul. You can have a new life, a new beginning, if you will surrender to Christ. And you can do that right now. First, confess your sin to God and turn away from it. Second, receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, putting your faith in Him alone to save you. He promises to live in you and transform your life.
START BY SIMPLY TALKING TO GOD.
You can pray a prayer like this:
“Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I’m sorry for my sin. I want to turn from my sin. Please forgive me. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son; I believe He died on the cross for my sin and You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
DO IT RIGHT NOW.

The Constitution is a barrier to ending “disinformation,” the former Obama administration official has claimed
The freedom for individuals to choose their sources of information makes it difficult to govern effectively, former US Secretary of State John Kerry has said.
Speaking at a World Economic Forum (WEF) panel on Green Energy last week, Kerry criticized the First Amendment of the US Constitution, which protects freedom of speech and the press.
“It’s really hard to govern today,” he remarked, arguing that social media poses challenges for building consensus in democracies.
“The referees we used to have to determine what is fact and what isn’t have kind of been eviscerated,” Kerry stated, adding that individuals now decide where to get their news.
“If people go to only one source… and they’re putting out disinformation, our First Amendment stands as a major block to simply hammering it out of existence,” added Kerry, who served as secretary of state under Barack Obama.
As long as Democrats can “win ground” and “win the right to govern,” they will be “free to implement change,” the former senator stated.
“I think democracies are very challenged right now and have not proven they can move fast enough or big enough to address the challenges we face. To me, that is part of what this race, this election, is all about,” he added.
At another WEF event earlier this year, Wall Street Journal editor-in-chief Emma Tucker lamented the loss of the corporate media’s monopoly on information.
“We owned the news. We were the gatekeepers, and we very much owned the facts as well,” she said, noting that customers now have access to a broader array of sources.
Amid increasingly divisive election rhetoric, research suggests that Americans trust the media even less than they are willing to publicly admit. While 24% of Americans claim to trust the media to tell the truth, only 7% believe it privately, according to a study completed in June by the think tank Populace, in cooperation with Gradient and YouGov.

(Worthy News) – Roughly 40 days ahead of the November election, President Joe Biden claimed that an executive order he issued this summer has reduced illegal border crossings by 60%.
In an amended Sept. 27, 2024, Proclamation 10773 (Securing the Border), he claims a June 3 executive order he issued “suspended and limited the entry of certain noncitizens into the United States across the southern border during times of high border crossings.”
Following his directive, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Attorney General Merrick Garland issued an interim final rule claiming to limit asylum eligibility for certain noncitizens who illegally enter the country, which he says “already produced significant results.”
“As of the end of the last calendar month, the average number of encounters by the United States Border Patrol at our southwest border between ports of entry has decreased by 59% compared to the period after the Circumvention of Lawful Pathways rule began to apply on May 12, 2023, and before Proclamation 10773 and the IFR went into effect. July and August 2024 were the lowest 2 months of encounters between ports of entry since September 2020.”
He also claims DHS “removed or returned 70 percent of single adults and family members, including more than 119,000 individuals to more than 140 countries; has more than tripled the percentage of noncitizens processed through expedited removal; and has decreased the percentage of noncitizens encountered at the southwest border who are released by United States Border Patrol pending their removal proceedings by 52 percent.”
Since his June 3 executive order was so successful, his new order is discontinuing “the suspension and limitation on entry in that proclamation” only after Mayorkas determines “there have been 28 consecutive calendar days in which the 7-consecutive-calendar-day average of encounters is less than 1,500.”
The order amends the Immigration and Nationality Act and gives Mayorkas 14 days to make this determination. It also amends his previous order to include unaccompanied minors from non-contiguous and contiguous countries when calculating illegal border crosser encounters.
In August, The Center Square first reported that more than 12.5 million illegal border crossers were reported since fiscal 2021, including two million who evaded capture. That number excludes the now more than 1.3 million released through at least two parole programs. House Republicans impeached Mayorkas for these programs and state attorneys general sued to stop them, arguing they are illegal.
Through two of them, roughly 813,000 foreign nationals were processed into the country through the CBP One app and nearly 530,000 through CHNV (Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans), according to CBP data.
Combined, they total nearly 14 million. These numbers exclude an unknown number released through roughly a dozen other programs that Republicans in Congress argue are illegal. U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, filed a bill requiring DHS to publicize how many are released through all parole programs.
“Despite the false narrative they’re attempting to project, the unprecedented border crisis the president and his ‘border czar’ have created continues to rage on,” U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Rep. Mark Green, R-Tenn., who led the charge to impeach Mayorkas, said. “This administration is orchestrating a massive shell game, encouraging otherwise-inadmissible aliens to cross at ports of entry instead of between them – thereby creating a façade of improved optics for the administration, but in reality imposing a growing burden on our communities.”
Former acting CBP chief and former Border Patrol chief Mark Morgan agrees, telling The Center Square that the president last year began “shifting the crisis from in between the ports of entry to the ports of entry themselves,” while at the same time calling the change “a new legal pathway and claiming victory. It’s a perversion and violation of the law. A big lie. One government sponsored shell game.”
The president’s latest claim “that the ‘numbers are going down’ is another intentional effort to mislead the American people. In reality, it’s nothing more than a politically driven shell game. Here’s how it works – the Biden administration made a lucrative deal with migrants that if they refrain from illegally entering through our country’s back door in the middle of the night, the administration will circumvent and violate the law in an effort to allow them to walk through our front door and call it a ‘legal pathway.’ I assure you it’s anything but lawful.
“The heart of their gamesmanship is that they haven’t stopped the flow of illegal migration at all, but rather they’ve simply diverted it from in-between the ports of entry to the ports of entry themselves. As the administration brags about 60% reduction in the flow of illegal aliens in-between the POEs, what you haven’t heard them mention is they’ve increased the flow at the POEs by 220%.”
Biden issued this order after he issued another order earlier this month extending a national emergency due to terrorism that’s been ongoing for 23 years. He did so as the greatest number of individuals on the terrorist watch list were apprehended under his watch of 1,856, first reported by The Center Square.
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has demanded answers on how many have been flown into the country, expressing alarm that Americans “are living on borrowed time” after intelligence officials have issued numerous terrorist warnings citing the border crisis.
Israeli special forces are engaged in “limited and targeted raids” in southern Lebanon this morning, according to an IDF spokesman. Their purpose is reportedly not to occupy the country but to allow Israelis living in northern Israel to return to their homes.
Israel has been criticized for attacking “civilian” buildings in its latest conflict with Hezbollah, but this is because the terrorists have hidden their weapons and missile launching positions within civilian villages. In fact, the corrupt warlord Hassan Nasrallah and other senior Hezbollah leaders were gathered in a bunker more than sixty feet beneath a working-class neighborhood in southern Beirut when Israel’s air force struck the bunker with a series of timed, chained explosions to penetrate it.
According to the IDF spokesman, Hezbollah had been planning “to invade Israel, attack Israeli communities, and massacre innocent men, women, and children.” By contrast, he stated, “I want to make it clear: our war is with Hezbollah, not with the people of Lebanon. We do not want to harm Lebanese civilians, and we’re taking measures to prevent that.”
Israel has repeatedly warned civilians before staging strikes, using text messages and voice recordings to urge them to leave dangerous areas. It even warned an Iranian plane not to land in Beirut lest it be attacked.
When America stood behind Israel
Unlike Hezbollah and Hamas, who are pledged to the genocidal destruction of the State of Israel and the Jewish people, Israel’s war aim is to enable Lebanon to seize a post-Hezbollah future for its people while restoring stability to the region. In fact, in the wake of Nasrallah’s death, Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister said yesterday that his government is ready to fully implement a UN resolution that would end Hezbollah’s armed presence near the Israeli border and replace them with the Lebanese army in the area.
Nonetheless, in a speech to the UN last week, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan compared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler. Anti-Israel incidents of assault, vandalism, harassment, protests, and divestment resolutions on US college campuses escalated 477 percent across the year following Hamas’s October 7 invasion.
There was a day when the United States stood unequivocally behind the Jewish nation and her people in the face of their enemies. For example, when the United Nations tried in 1975 to condemn Zionism (the belief that the Jewish people need and deserve a homeland) as “a form of racism and racial discrimination,” US Ambassador to the UN Daniel Patrick Moynihan denounced “this infamous act” as a “political lie of a variety well-known to the twentieth century, and scarcely exceeded in all that annal of untruth and outrage.”
That was then—this is now.
Here’s the good news: Condemnations on college campuses and behind UN lecterns are less threatening to Israel since they are coming from outside the country. My Israeli friends tell me the nation is united in its resolve to defeat the terrorists who threaten their lives and their future. After leading more than thirty pilgrimages to the Holy Land, I can tell you that her people, while enormously diverse on a wide range of religious and political issues, are passionately committed to the State of Israel.
By contrast, the “untruth and outrage” condemning America are coming from within our nation and imperil our very future.
Is America “among the greatest countries of the world”?
In 1980, the self-described Marxist socialist Howard Zinn wrote A People’s History of the United States: 1492 to Present. His book has sold more than three million copies; scholars claim that “no introductory work of American history has had more influence over the past forty years.”
In Zinn’s telling, a nation’s history is comprised of “the fierce conflicts of interest . . . between conquerors and conquered, masters and slaves, capitalists and workers, dominators and dominated in race and sex.” He applies such Marxist thinking to American history with devastating consequences.
He and the critical theory proponents who have popularized this ideology condemn the United States as a racist project built by white supremacists to advance themselves by oppressing others. Unsurprisingly, a cacophony of liberal scholars have been calling in recent years for the US Constitution to be abolished in response.
Such attacks on the moral foundations of our nation are having their effect. In 1998, 70 percent of Americans considered patriotism to be very important; today it’s 38 percent. The younger you are, the less likely you are to believe that the US is “among the greatest countries of the world.”
King David asked:
“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3).
What, indeed?
“Be worthy of the gospel of Christ”
As Israel seeks to secure peace for itself in the face of virulent terrorist opposition, I am praying for “the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6) to be extended to Lebanon and her people. I am praying for an end to Hezbollah’s bloody reign that has victimized so many Lebanese, Americans, Israelis, and Syrians over four decades. And for the same with regard to Hamas and other jihadist groups that threaten the Middle East and beyond.
I am similarly praying for a new regime in Iran, one that would serve the interests of its long-suffering people. And for a new stability in the Middle East that unites Jews and Arabs in building secure homelands for Israelis and Palestinians.
I am also praying for a renewal of American purpose and mission, one aligned with our founding proclamation that all people—from preborn children to racial minorities to the elderly and infirm—are endowed by our Creator with “unalienable” rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I am praying for a return to the consensual religious morality that George Washington and other founders considered so “indispensable” to political prosperity.
And I am praying for Christians to be submitted to the sanctifying Spirit of God so fully that we can be among the “righteous” to whom David referred (cf. Ephesians 5:18). Paul exhorted his readers to “let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ” (Philippians 1:27). America has never needed America’s Christians to live such lives more urgently than today.
CHICAGO, IL — The American Medical Association has just released new guidance advising doctors to stop asking “Who is the president?” while testing for concussions since, at the moment, nobody is actually sure who the president really is.
The change in procedure came after doctors began realizing that patients’ confusion after being asked to name the president was actually a sign of healthy brain function rather than a symptom of brain trauma.
“Diagnosing concussions is very different here in 2024,” said neurologist Dr. Scott Scully. “In fact, we have found that patients who confidently assert that Joe Biden is running the country often have some level of brain damage. Those are the people we schedule to have brain scans right away.”
Instead of the traditional president query, the AMA suggested several more up-to-date questions that everyone of sound mind should know the answer to, such as: “Did you pay too much on your last grocery visit?” or “Did Kamala Harris grow up in a middle-class family?”
“Those are far better questions to ask someone to determine their cognitive function,” Dr. Scully explained. “I mean, I have not suffered any blows to the head or brain damage, and even I can’t tell you with any level of certainty who the president is.”
As is standard procedure, it will be illegal to administer these updated cognitive health tests to any elected officials.
At publishing time, the AMA promised to launch an investigation to find out who actually is the current president after noticing that journalists seemed completely uninterested in answering that question.

BREAKING: Iran fires missiles towards Israel | LiveNOW from FOX
Iran has fired missiles from Iran toward Israel. The Israeli military said Iran fired missiles at Israel and air raid sirens sounded across the country. Air raid sirens are sounding across the country right now. Israel and the U.S. have warned there would be severe consequences in the event of an attack on Israel from Iran, according to officials. Israeli army spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said the country’s air defense system was detecting and intercepting threats. “However, the defense is not hermetic,” Hagari said. The alerts from officials sounded after a day of rocket and missile attack from Lebanon. Israel has warned there would be ‘repercussions’ if Iran attacks.
Axios is reporting that the White House has intelligence saying Iran imminently plans to carry out a missile attack on Israel in retaliation for the Friday killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
A senior White House has said, “The United States has indications that Iran is preparing to imminently launch a ballistic missile attack against Israel.”
“We are actively supporting defensive preparations to defend Israel against this attack. A direct military attack from Iran against Israel will carry severe consequences for Iran,” the official continued. Crude prices immediately responded to the headline…
Gold is also bid…
It seems the White House is prepared to defend Israeli militarily, though there has been no official authorization in Congress (much less a debate).
The Pentagon on Monday confirmed that it is sending a “few thousand additional troops” to the Middle East to be on standby if needed to defend Israel from a broader attack. This is widely being seen as preparation for war against Iran, if needed.
This is to include the new deployments of squadrons of F-15, F-16, F-22, and A-10 fighter jets along with assisting personnel. It was only the day prior that President Biden was asked if he would be sending more troops to the Middle East. He replied: “No.”
LEFT (YESTERDAY): Biden answers “no” when asked if he’ll deploy more troops to the Middle East.
RIGHT (TODAY): The Pentagon announces they’re deploying more troops to the Middle East.
