There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
Mark 6:14-29 New American Standard Bible 14 And King Herod heard about it, for His name had become well known; and people were saying, “John the Baptist has risen from the dead, and that is why these miraculous powers are at work in Him.” 15 But others were saying, “He is Elijah.” And others were saying, “He is a prophet, like one of the prophets of old.” 16 But when Herod heard about it, he kept saying, “John, whom I beheaded, has risen!”
17 For Herod himself had sent men and had John arrested and bound in prison on account of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip, because he had married her. 18 For John had been saying to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.” 19 And Herodias held a grudge against him and wanted to put him to death, and could not do so; 20 for Herod was afraid of John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and he had been protecting him. And when he heard him, he was very perplexed; and yet he used to enjoy listening to him. 21 An opportune day came when Herod, on his birthday, held a banquet for his nobles and military commanders, and the leading people of Galilee; 22 and when the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his dinner guests; and the king said to the girl, “Ask me for whatever you want, and I will give it to you.” 23 And he swore to her, “Whatever you ask of me, I will give it to you, up to half of my kingdom.” 24 And she went out and said to her mother, “What shall I ask for?” And she said, “The head of John the Baptist.” 25 Immediately she came in a hurry to the king and asked, saying, “I want you to give me at once the head of John the Baptist on a platter.” 26 And although the king was very sorry, because of his oaths and his dinner guests, he was unwilling to refuse her. 27 Immediately the king sent an executioner and commanded him to bring back his head. And he went and beheaded him in the prison, 28 and brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl; and the girl gave it to her mother. 29 When his disciples heard about this, they came and carried away his body, and laid it in a tomb.

We also believe that Christian Worship is to be regulated and defined by God’s Word, the Bible.
Our worship services are designed to please and honor the Triune God of the Bible. We place Scripture reading and the preaching of the word of God at the center of worship along with Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. These are God’s gifts to His church and ought to always be at the center of Christian worship. We are a congregation that loves to sing God’s praises, recite His Word back to Him, and actively engage in hearing and learning from God’s Word.
We embrace and promote a comprehensive Christian world and life view.
There is no area of life which is not under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is to God and His law which all people, including governments and civil rulers, will answer. The Word of God embraces and informs the way we view marriage, the family, children, education, politics, worship, law, government, war, the church, missions, evangelism, and worship. In the world today there is a battle of opposing worldviews. There are basically only two positions: God’s Word and man’s ideas. We stand positively for Biblical truth and negatively against man’s ideas which are opposed to Biblical truth.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for mankind.
Because all men fall short of obeying God’s law, all men everywhere are in need of divine grace and salvation from God. This salvation is found only in the Lord Jesus Christ who died for sinners, was buried, rose again, and is alive today seated at God the Father’s right hand.
Or despiseth thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
ROMANS 2:4
Why should a man write and distribute a tract instructing us on “How to Pray So God Will Send You the Money You Need”?
Any of us who have experienced a life and ministry of faith can tell how the Lord met our needs. Surely we believe that God can send money to His believing children—but it becomes a pretty cheap thing to get excited about the money and fail to give the glory to Him who is the Giver!
So, many are busy “using” God. Use God to get a job! Use God to give us safety! Use God to give us peace of mind! Use God to obtain success in business! Use God to provide heaven at last!
Brethren, we ought to learn—and learn it very soon—that it is much better to have God first and have God Himself even if we have only a thin dime than to have all the riches and all the influence in the world and not have God with it!
John Wesley believed that men ought to seek God alone because He is love. I think in our day we are in need of such an admonition as: “Seek more of God, and seek Him for Himself alone!”
If we become serious-minded about this, we would soon discover that all of the gifts of God come along with the knowledge and the presence of God Himself.1
My soul! it is the most delightful of all thoughts, when at the time thou art solacing thyself in the glories of thy Redeemer, to call to mind that God the Father is glorified, while thou art made happy in the salvation thy Jesus hath accomplished by his blood and righteousness. It is indeed God the Father which called Jesus to the office and character of the Redeemer, and furnished him with all suitable requisites for the vast work he called him to do. But the glory and honour of Jehovah were the first and great object of the Redeemer’s work; and hence Jesus, in the days of his flesh, never speaks of his own glory, but as in connection with, and leading to, the glory of Jehovah. “Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him! Father! glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee.” Hence therefore, when Jehovah laid honour and majesty on the blessed Jesus, and made him most blessed for ever, all these things were to the Father’s honour and glory: and never was God the Father’s glory more great than in and by the salvation of his dear Son Christ Jesus. See, my soul! I charge it upon thee, that thou never lose sight of this precious view of God thy Father’s glory, in thy redemption by thy adorable Redeemer. Say, continually, and dwell with rapture on the blessed subject: “My God, my Father in Christ Jesus, is glorified, yea, greatly glorified in his dear Son, in that he hath wrought out such a salvation as brings more glory to God the Father than all the works of his creation; and it is to the honour and glory of Jehovah, that poor sinners should be saved in this blessed way of his own appointing. And shall I not then come to him in and through Jesus? Shall I not delight to tell my God and Father how great his glory is in the salvation by Jesus? Shall I not bless and glorify my God and Father in being the Author and Giver of such great salvation? Yea, most blessed God and Father! I do bless thee, I do praise thee, I desire to love thee, in and through Jesus. And while my whole soul is going out in enjoyments on the person, and work, and offices, and relations of Jesus, always would I keep in view, and connect with it, in the enjoyment, that it is thou, most gracious and almighty Father, that hast made him most blessed for ever. Surely then, thy glory is great in his salvation! And the glory of the Son of God is great in thy salvation!1
Although this message was sent to the south, and referred to the seed of Israel, it may profitably be a summons to ourselves. Backward we are naturally to all good things, and it is a lesson of grace to learn to go forward in the ways of God. Reader, are you unconverted, but do you desire to trust in the Lord Jesus? Then keep not back. Love invites you, the promises secure you success, the precious blood prepares the way. Let not sins or fears hinder you, but come to Jesus just as you are. Do you long to pray? Would you pour out your heart before the Lord? Keep not back. The mercy-seat is prepared for such as need mercy; a sinner’s cries will prevail with God. You are invited, nay, you are commanded to pray, come therefore with boldness to the throne of grace.
Dear friend, are you already saved? Then keep not back from union with the Lord’s people. Neglect not the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. You may be of a timid disposition, but you must strive against it, lest it lead you into disobedience. There is a sweet promise made to those who confess Christ—by no means miss it, lest you come under the condemnation of those who deny him. If you have talents keep not back from using them. Hoard not your wealth, waste not your time; let not your abilities rust or your influence be unused. Jesus kept not back, imitate him by being foremost in self-denials and self-sacrifices. Keep not back from close communion with God, from boldly appropriating covenant blessings, from advancing in the divine life, from prying into the precious mysteries of the love of Christ. Neither, beloved friend, be guilty of keeping others back by your coldness, harshness, or suspicions. For Jesus’ sake go forward yourself, and encourage others to do the like. Hell and the leaguered bands of superstition and infidelity are forward to the fight. O soldiers of the cross, keep not back.1
HAVING now completed our reading of the life of our Lord up to his resurrection, we will meditate upon a few choice psalms. The first is full of praise and adoration.
Psalm 147
1 Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. (Few things are both good and pleasant. Medicine is good, but not pleasant; sin, to the ungodly, is pleasant, but it can never be good. In the praise of God both the good and the pleasant are combined.)
2 The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
With poor self-condemned outcast souls he builds up his church. His grace delights to select such, and to do great things for them.
3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. (It will be well to read these two verses over again. The Lord who tells the stars, bends over wounded sinners, and binds up broken hearts—condescension like this is amazing. In the contemplation of it we are lost in love and wonder.)
5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
6 The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
7 Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
9 He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry. (The Creator cares for the work of his own hands. Does he hear the ravens cry and will he not hear us when we confess our sins and ask for pardon? Ay, that he will.)
10, 11 He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
We value men by their strength, God cares more for their weakness; we admire those who can run with speed: he favours those who have learned to rest in his mercy. Let the weak in body and mind be consoled by the fact that the Lord of Mercy cares for them.
12 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
13 For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.
14 He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.
15 He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.
Whether it be in the realm of nature or grace the word of the Lord brooks no hindrance, yields to no obstacle.
16 He giveth snow like wool (so that the tender plants are protected from the frost): he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.
17 He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? (Dwellers in severe climates feel the force of this. It is a striking expression. If the comforts of grace and nature were removed from us we should soon perish. Who can stand before his cold?)
18 He sendeth out his word, and melteth them (ice, snow, hoarfrost, all vanish at his bidding); he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord. (We who dwell in this land of privileges ought to be as grateful as ancient Israel. As a family we have been highly favoured, and let us, one and all, unite in praising the Lord.)
5 There are two different readings for the first half of the verse. Staying with the MT but supplying the conjunction “and” before “how bones” (kaʿaṣāmîm; NIV, “how the body”), many commentators and translations, including both the NIV and NASB, understand that there are two separate analogies: “the path of the wind” and “the body … in the womb.”
But, without supplying the conjunction and by reading a different preposition on the noun baʿaṣāmîm (“in the bones”), one arrives at a different translation containing only one analogy: “as you do not know how the spirit comes into the bones in the mother’s womb.” The Hebrew letters b and k are similar (ב and כ) and easily confused, especially in older scripts. This is supported by a number of Hebrew manuscripts and would seem to be the better reading. Regardless, the point is clear: just as you cannot comprehend this analogy (or analogies), so you cannot possibly understand God’s doings. The verse serves as a reinforcement of ignorance.1
5 The verse begins by reaffirming human ignorance (see 11:2). There is much that people do not know, and Qohelet cites two more examples: the direction of the wind and the formation of an embryo.
Qohelet’s readers would readily assent to their ignorance in these areas, and thus he goes on to make a theological point: No one can know God’s plans. It is true that we feel the effect of the wind, and we see the result of fetal development. And it is true that we see God working in the world. But how and why he is doing what he is doing is beyond us.
Some translations understand the last clause of the verse (the work of God who does all things[maʿᵃs̀ēh hāʾĕlōhîm ʾᵃšer yaʿᵃs̀eh ʾet-hakkōl]) to refer to God’s creative activity (NIV), but it is much more likely that this generic phrase refers simply to what God is doing in the world. James Crenshaw rightly points out that Ecclesiastes 3:11, 8:17, and 9:12 have anticipated Qohelet’s statement about human inability to know of God’s activity on earth.2
5. Interpretations include: (i) ‘As you do not know what is the way of the wind, or how bones grow in the womb …’ (followed by rv, niv); (ii) ‘As you do not know what is the way of the spirit, or how bones grow in the womb …’ (followed by av); (iii) ‘As you do not know what is the way of the spirit in the bones in the womb …’; (iv) ‘As you do not know how the spirit comes to the bones in the womb …’ (rsv).
The first takes the Hebrew rûaḥ to mean ‘wind’, since it is used in that way in the previous verse and no indication is given of a change in meaning. Hertzberg, who adopts this interpretation, cites John 3:8 as Jesus’ allusion to this verse. The second takes rûaḥ as the human life or spirit. This gives the verse a certain unity and fits well with the thought of the growth of the human foetus. The third and fourth require the emendation of ka‘ăṣāmîm to ba‘ăṣāmîm. Gordis, who favours this interpretation, argues that if two comparisons were being made the copula (‘and’, Heb. wāw) would be required for ka‘ăṣāmîm This is not necessarily the case, however, for parallel comparisons without wāw are attested in the Old Testament (e.g. Song 1:5).
It is not possible to be dogmatic in deciding between the first two interpretations. The second, however, is more likely. The mystery of the origin of the human spirit and mysterious growth of the human foetus are two examples of manifest human ignorance. This interpretation demands that the sense of rûaḥ change from the previous verse, a possible transition, for rûah has already been used in this sense in ch. 3.
Thus at this point in his closing appeal the Preacher simply insists on a fact: certain aspects of God’s working on earth defy explanation. The mystery which shrouds our very origin underlies the whole of reality (cf. Isa. 44:24ff.). In its context this verse drives the reader to a sense of need and warns against an unwarranted optimism in life. The life of faith does not remove the problem of our ignorance; rather, it enables us to live with it. Faith flourishes in the mystery of providence; it does not abolish it.3
Ver. 5. Thou knowest not the work of God, who doeth all.—Christian agnosticism (with James 1:5, 6):—
The favourite intellectual mood of unbelief in recent times has been agnosticism. It declares that the greatest things we do not know, shall never know. Ecclesiastes is a very modern book in respect of this recognition of human ignorance. And it is more than modern in that while it fully states the puzzle, it gives the key.
I. We know nothing. There is a farmer observing the wind now, saying, “It is in the right quarter; I will put in my seed.” He shall not. The seed is six miles away, and a cart-wheel is broken. To-morrow the land will be flooded. The next day his child will be dying, and he will postpone everything. Another was very anxious about the rainy harvest; he “regarded the clouds,” he chose a good week and set the men on; but he fell from his horse and died; some one else saw the harvest home. “Thou knowest not what is the way of the wind.” That is the kind of experience that makes Tennyson say, “Behold, we know not anything.” Of course there is very much in the regularity of things to make us think we know. A shrewd and careful farmer usually gets on well. The wind is a sign, and the clouds are a sign, that any man of common sense must pay attention to. Say we do not know what God doeth, if you like. But lay upon Him all that is done. If a man sows wild oats it is God who makes them come up. Do not say it is nature; it is God. And then if they seem not to come up—one man does wrong and is punished, another does wrong and is not punished—you are not embarrassed with any irregularity hard to account for. God has them both in hand. And with Him is no variableness or shadow that is cast by turning.
II. We know God. The unbelieving agnostic says we can know everything earthly, but nothing heavenly; we cannot know God. The Christian agnostic says, “We are not certain of anything earthly; but we are certain of God. We know whom we have believed.” God shines into all the world with the pure light of goodness; and all iniquity, greed, violence, and so on, of which we say the earth is so full, is really a vision, too, of God by contrast. The earth is full of the glory of God, and that is why the bad things about us show up so. Christ has come—a human character up against which every one begins to feel ashamed by sheer contrast. He dares to say, “I am the light of the world,” and men have to recognize it, because they all show up dark against it. The character of God is there, plain enough, in touch with us.
III. If we know God we are in the way to know everything—and the only way. Do not imagine there is some long, toilsome path, as the Deists used to say, “through nature up to nature’s God.” It is not far to get through nature. It is as thin as paper. Put the two texts together—“Thou knowest not the work of God, who doeth all.” “If any lack, let him ask of God, in faith, nothing doubting.” By faith all things are yours, ye are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s. (J. H. Stowell, M.A.)4

Jeremiah 39:2 — Now the real action begins! Prophecies and imprisonment lead up to this pivotal point, the ninth day of the fourth month of the eleventh year of Zedekiah.
Jeremiah 39:3 — Every letter of Scripture is inspired but not the commas. Those were added by stylists to help us understand Scripture better. What is fascinating with this verse is that we have a list of names of Babylonian officials preserved for 2,500 years; for most of that 2,500 years the “official Babylonian records” were unavailable. Meaning, the ancient Jewish scribes had no records to check the spelling of the names of these officials. The translators of the King James in 1611 had no idea who these people were. Skeptics weren’t impressed with the a 2,500 year “hand-me-down” account of a battle, even though the account included dates (Jeremiah 29:2), names (Jeremiah 29:3), and other interesting details.
In 595 BC, a receipt for the transfer of 27 ounces of gold was made by Nebo-Sarsechim, chief eunuch of Nebuchadnezzar. This individual – same name and title – was with Nebuchadnezzar at the fall of Jerusalem according to Jeremiah 39:3. In 1870 AD (2,465 years later), a mile outside Babylon, this receipt was dug up, sold to the British Museum, and in 2007 was finally translated!
From the invasion of Jerusalem in 587 BC to the translation of the King James Version in 1611 AD – an astounding 2,198 years – Jeremiah’s record was accurately preserved letter for letter. And the amazing thing is, we didn’t know it for another 396 years! Read more about it at the Top 10 (secular) Archaeological Discoveries of 2007!
Jeremiah 39:4 — Zedekiah refused to go out the front door to the Babylonians (Jeremiah 38:17), so now he is fleeing out the back door. And the king who refused to believe the God he could not see, now has his sight taken from him (Jeremiah 39:7). The king who would not go out is dragged out in chains (Jeremiah 39:7). The king who would not leave his house had his house burned (Jeremiah 39:8). The king who oppressed the poor (Jeremiah 7:5-7) had his land left to the poor (Jeremiah 39:10).
Jeremiah 39:18 — The King of Judah who sat on the Throne of David (Jeremiah 13:13) saw his sons slain before he lost his sight and was dragged away in chains. The foreign Ethiopian (Jeremiah 38:7) who interceded for the prophet was delivered because he trusted in the LORD.
Jeremiah 40:3 — God spoke to several Babylonians:
Messengers of Berodach-baladan (by Hezekiah) – 2 Kings 20:12
Nebuzaradan (by the prophet?) – Jeremiah 40:2-3
Nebuchadnezzar (by dreams) – Daniel 2:1
Nebuchadnezzar (from heaven) – Daniel 4:31-32
Belshazzar (by a finger) – Daniel 5:5
Jeremiah 40:16 — Famous last words. Gedaliah trusted a false friend (Proverbs 27:6).
Jeremiah 41:16 — So this whole chapter seems to be irrelevant, but I want you to notice the characteristics of the people of Israel outside of the kingdom. They’ve reverted back to the times of the Judges (Judges 21:25). “In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” Gedaliah is assassinated by Ishmael, Ishmael slaughters people bringing offerings to the LORD, and Johanan takes the remainder to Egypt.
2 Timothy 1:1 — This is Paul’s last letter, written shortly before he would be beheaded by Nero. From J. Vernon McGee:
You can, I think, emphasize one word in this epistle above other words. That word is loyalty: (1) loyalty in suffering (ch. 1); (2) loyalty in service (ch. 2); (3) loyalty in apostasy (ch. 3–4:5); and (4) Lord loyal to His servants in desertion (ch. 4:6–22).
The deathbed statement of any individual has an importance which is not attached to other remarks. This is what lends significance to 2 Timothy. It is the final communication of Paul. It has a note of sadness which is not detected in his other epistles. Nevertheless, there is the overtone of triumph: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith,” written by Paul as his own epitaph (2 Tim. 4:7). Also, because this was his last letter, Paul was very personal. In these four short chapters, there are approximately twenty–five references to individuals.
2 Timothy 1:5 — Thank God for praying mothers and grandmothers!
2 Timothy 1:8 — Timothy is reading this from an inmate who is asking Timothy to join him in suffering because it’s worth it. Why? Death doesn’t scare Paul primarily because Jesus abolished death (2 Timothy 1:10).
2 Timothy 1:12 — Paul had confidence because he knew Jesus and could trust Him! Paul knew Whom he believed!
2 Timothy 1:17 — Compare Onesiphorus who sought out Paul to Ebedmelech (Jeremiah 38:7) who sought out Jeremiah! As Jesus said, “If you give a cup of cold water to my disciple, you have done it to me” (Matthew 10:41-42). May we be practicing hospitality. Paul refused to be chargeable to the Thessalonians (1 Thessalonians 2:9), but he was grateful for those who insisted on helping him (2 Timothy 1:17). The Christian car mechanic who fixes the missionary’s car has earned a prophet’s reward (Matthew 10:41), just like Ebedmelech (Jeremiah 38:7) and Onesiphorus (2 Timothy 1:17).
When I read this passage, I think of my grandfather, John McLario. He travelled to Havana, Cuba, which at that time was under the leadership of Fidel Castro. He was mentioned in God’s Missiles over Cuba for almost getting arrested there for his work in helping free imprisoned missionaries.
Psalm 90:4 — Six thousand years of human history isn’t even a week in God’s eyes!
Psalm 90:8 — God knows even our secret sins!
Psalm 91:1-2 — ”On Eagle’s Wings” is a song based on these verses:
Proverbs 26:1 — Yes, snow in summer is not seemly, and we definitely appreciate it when the snow holds off as long as possible! If we are a fool, how can we get honor? Stop being a fool!

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.Psalm 46:1
A help that is not present when we need it is of small value. The anchor which is left at home is of no use to the seaman in the hour of storm; the money which he used to have is of no worth to the debtor when a writ is out against him. Very few earthly helps could be called “very present”: they are usually far in the seeking, far in the using, and farther still when once used. But as for the Lord our God, He is present when we seek Him, present when we need Him, and present when we have already enjoyed His aid.
He is more than “present,” He is very present. More present than the nearest friend can be, for He is in us in our trouble; more present than we are to ourselves, for sometimes we lack presence of mind. He is always present, effectually present, sympathetically present, altogether present. He is present now if this is a gloomy season. Let us rest ourselves upon Him. He is our refuge, let us hide in Him; He is our strength, let us array ourselves with Him; He is our help, let us lean upon Him; He is our very present help, let us repose in Him now. We need not have a moment’s care or an instant’s fear. “The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.”

Rural Minnesota voters from Tim Walz’s former congressional district slammed the Democratic vice presidential nominee for acting like a “chameleon,” adding that “a flannel shirt doesn’t mean you blend in in the country,” Politico reported Friday. “[The Democrats] went for everything they could get to make us a sanctuary for transgenders and illegals. They just went nuts.”

Severe coastal flooding expected as Hurricane “Oscar” approaches Turks and Caicos Tropical Storm “Oscar” formed at 15:00 UTC on October 19, 2024, as the 15th named storm of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season and intensified into a hurricane just 3 hours later. Oscar is expected to produce a dangerous storm surge on the Turks and Caicos Islands beginning this evening (local time). Hurricane conditions are expected in portions of the southeastern Bahamas, Turks and Caicos Islands, and eastern Cuba during the next day or so.
Cancer cases in England hit record high Cancer cases in England have reached a new high, with nearly 1,000 diagnoses made every day, according to NHS data. In 2022, there were 346,217 cancer diagnoses, a 5% increase from 2021. The rise largely stems from a significant increase in prostate cancer cases, which rose by over 25%.
Minnesota’s Largest Muslim Cemetery: A Risky Step Toward Islamization in the U.S. On October 8, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Al Maghfirah Cemetery took place in Castle Rock Township near Farmington, Minnesota. Once completed, this 72-acre development will be the largest Muslim cemetery in the state, offering nearly 50,000 burial plots. Set to open in May 2025, the project represents the end of a decade-long legal battle in which local opposition fiercely resisted what they see as the latest example of Islamic encroachment on American soil.
In Opposition To Israel, China Seeks To Broker Palestinian Control Over Post War Gaza Strip More than a dozen Palestinian factions—including bitter rivals Fatah and Hamas—recently signed a national unity deal aimed at maintaining Palestinian control over the Gaza Strip after the war with Israel ends. Known as the Beijing Declaration, the deal, negotiated by China, lays the groundwork for an interim national reconciliation government to rule post-war Gaza.
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo joins ‘Fox News Live’ to discuss Israel’s targeting of Hamas and Hezbollah leadership, the Iranians being emboldened by the Biden administration, and the Israeli response to Iran’s attack. #foxnews
In this post, I have two articles that may surprise you. Democrats seem to have an obsession with demanding that everyone agree that they don’t steal elections. Their words say that they want free and fair elections, where only citizens vote, and every vote is counted. That’s a wonderful goal. But do their words match their actions? Let’s take a look at some news stories, then you can decide.
The Biden administration sued Virginia on Friday over the state’s effort to remove noncitizens from its voting lists, arguing the move violated a federal law that bars changes to the rolls so close to an election.
Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin in August ordered state officials to conduct “daily updates” to remove ineligible voters, including felons and those who are “unable to verify that they are citizens.”
The Justice Department said that amounts to a formalized cleansing of the voter rolls, which it said violates a 1993 law on voter registration.
[…]Mr. Youngkin, in a statement, blasted the case.
“With less than 30 days until the election, the Biden-Harris Department of Justice is filing an unprecedented lawsuit against me and the Commonwealth of Virginia, for appropriately enforcing a 2006 law signed by Democrat Tim Kaine that requires Virginia to remove noncitizens from the voter rolls,” he said.
He said the noncitizens Virginia cleaned from its rolls had previously declared “themselves a non-citizen” and then registered to vote.
And it’s not just Virginia, it’s Alabama, too:
The federal lawsuit against Virginia follows another one the Justice Department filed against Alabama, which flagged 3,251 names it moved to its inactive voter list on Aug. 13 — 84 days before the election.
Alabama used state records where someone indicated on an unemployment form or an application for a driver’s license or identity card that they weren’t a citizen.
Let’s see another story and make sure that I’m understanding their actions correctly.
After requesting citizenship status information about registered voters in Florida, and not receiving it from federal agencies as required by law, Florida sued.
In September, Florida requested information from the Department of Homeland Security and its subagencies about citizenship status of a subset of registered voters it identified and its request was denied.
One month later, a coalition of attorneys general, including Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody, called on DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to provide the requested information, after multiple states, including Texas and Florida, also asked for similar information. They made the requests as multiple states also removed thousands of noncitizens from their voter rolls.
On Oct. 16, Moody sued Mayorkas and DHS in U.S. District Court Northern District of Florida Pensacola Division “for refusing to verify immigration records for the State of Florida to ensure voter-roll integrity.”
Under the Biden-Harris administration, millions of illegal border crossers “have flooded into the country,” Moody said. “Florida has an interest in ensuring that only American citizens are registered to vote. Recently, the state identified registered voters who may not be U.S. citizens, and DHS refuses to provide information necessary to determine their immigration status.” Moody sued “to ensure noncitizens are not on the voter rolls.”
“Voting is a right granted to American citizens—not illegal immigrants or other noncitizens,” she said.
The 16-page lawsuit cites federal and state law related to maintaining accurate voter registration records, federal government agencies’ legal requirement to ensure only citizens are voting in elections, among other provisions. “Because the federal government is refusing to comply with these obligations and frustrating Florida’s ability to maintain the integrity of its elections, Florida files this suit,” the lawsuit states.
So what do we learn from this?
Well, I think it’s important for everyone who doesn’t want communism to get out there and vote in November. Why? Because the best way to prevent one party from cheating in an election is to make sure that the election is not close. If it’s not close, then they can’t cheat. So, make sure that you have a plan to vote, and make sure that you’re convincing the people around you to vote against communism, too. If it’s not close, then they can’t cheat.
Public debt is expected to reach 93% of global GDP this year and approach 100% by 2030, representing a 10 percentage point increase compared to 2019, before the pandemic.
However, most Americans know MSM is full of ‘malarkey’ because inflation and interest rates force many to spend more but receive less. Many folks have depleted their personal savings and racked up insurmountable credit card debt just to keep up with rising food, energy, insurance, and shelter costs. This toxic mix of inflation, sparked by failed Bidenomics, has hit low- and middle-income families the hardest, potentially leading to a breaking point this upcoming holiday shopping season.
“It’s very clear that consumers are running out of money. They’re increasingly stressed by inflation and the exhaustion of their pandemic-era savings. When you take a look over the last several years, what you see month after month, everyone talks about, the consumer’s still spending. They might be, but they’re spending less than the growth of inflation,” Storch Advisors CEO Gerald Storch told Fox Bussiness’ Maria Bartiromo on Thursday during an interview.
Bartiromo then asked Storch about his forecast on the upcoming spending season between Black Friday and Christmas. The former Target executive said, “[I don’t expect] too much, frankly … and think that [if] we can get growth in [the] 2.5% range, that’d be doing pretty well, and that’s not very good. In the heydays there, we’d really want to see something that’s more like 4% type of growth. You have, by the way, the shortest holiday season you can even imagine, so that’s against retailers.”
Besides Target, Storch was also the former CEO at Toys “R” Us. He noted, “Now and the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is very, very short, so that’s going to be bad. The election’s going to weigh on things and the geopolitical situation as well, so I think it’s going to be a pretty weak Christmas.”
The longtime retail executive’s ominous warning about consumers stalling this holiday season comes after retail sales showed consumers increased their purchases at retailers last month. However, this is only because of higher prices. In other words, consumers are spending more but receiving less.
Storch’s outlook for the holiday season comes after Goldman analysts noted that the “trade-down phenomenon” has rippled across high-end and low-end consumers. The last time “trading down” mentions soared on earnings calls was during the GFC crisis in 2008.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told FOX News ‘Gutfeld!’ host Greg Gutfeld that Democrats are “much more intolerant” than Republicans and it is now the party of Wall Street and the Military Industrial Complex. “There’s tribalism, and the orthodoxies are much more insidious in the Democratic Party,” Kennedy said. “And it’s disturbing to me, because I think the polarization is the worst thing for our country, and that, you know, we have huge problems in this country, but we also are very resilient, but we’re never going to solve them if we don’t — if we’re not able to come together. And I think that the Democrats are much more tend to be much more intolerant than Republicans on these issues. That’s my personal observation, and it’s interesting to see that validated by that poll.”
GUTFELD: Bobby? I like Bobby, seems like we’re old friends. Bobby, let’s go out back and wrestle that cow. All right. This — this topic, I like this topic because I feel like you know this. You’ve probably experienced conflicts and fissures from family and from friends, right? KENNEDY: Yes. GUTFELD: Care to share any specifics? KENNEDY: You know, I was interested in this because of what? The observation you made about that it’s kind of a paradox that Democrats see themselves as the party of tolerance. And I think, you know, there’s intolerance, there’s vigil, there’s poison, there’s anger on both sides, but I found that it’s more that the Democrats are much less tolerant of somebody holding different political beliefs. There’s tribalism, and the orthodoxies are much more insidious in the Democratic Party. And it’s disturbing to me, because I think the polarization is the worst thing for our country, and that, you know, we have huge problems in this country, but we also are very resilient, but we’re never going to solve them if we don’t — if we’re not able to come together. And I think that the Democrats are much more tend to be much more intolerant than Republicans on these issues. That’s my personal observation, and it’s interesting to see that validated by that poll. GUTFELD: I mean, I’ve noticed it all my life as a lefty and then a righty, and then nothing. You know. I do think that, for some reason, liberal politics are tied more to the ego than maybe Republican politics, because Republicans put their politics in a box. You know, that you have family, you have job, you have sports recreation, but for Democrats, politics is part of your identity. Maybe that’s what it is. I don’t know. That’s my thought. KENNEDY: There’s also, I think that the people these days who tend to be Republican or conservative, are much more inclined to critical thinking. And I think that used to be the purview of the Democratic Party. But you had said before that we left the Democratic Party, that Elon myself and Tulsi, I think all of us feel like the Democratic Party left us, a party of Robert Kennedy, of John. Kennedy doesn’t exist anymore. I was at the party of that was anti-war, it was the party that was against censorship. It was the party that opposed the corporate takeover of our government. Today, the Democratic Party is the party of war, it’s the party of censorship, it’s the party of Wall Street, a big pharma, big tech, big data, big banking, and the military industrial complex. GUTFELD: And big butts, because of the diet. KENNEDY: Well, yeah. GUTFELD: It’s true. Big food. TYRUS: OK, OK. But all big butts not a bad thing, Gutfeld. So, lets — GUTFELD: No, that’s true. That’s true. TYRUS: OK, because people don’t skip leg days. GUTFELD: Dagen, I’m going to flip the rolls. Would you date a man?
In recent weeks, there have been a lot of conspiracy theories abounding across social media and among friends. We have heard that because there are lithium deposits, the government created the Helene hurricane damage so it can seize the land for a proposed mining operation. Also, there is a theory that the Biden-Harris Administration caused the hurricane to go through key Republican areas of middle America so as to influence the election.
The fact is, people will believe what they want to believe, and it is more difficult to convince someone of the truth than a lie that they want to believe is true. But hear this: God is in control of the weather, and is it not feasible that these disasters are clear warnings?
While it’s not proven that government can create hurricanes and direct their paths with secret weather machines and cloud seeding, it is proven that political parties will go to great lengths to keep or attain power.
Put aside for a moment the theory of government weather control and look at the aftermath. The presidential election is less than a month away. Areas hit the hardest hold a lot of Republican votes. What is in control of the party in power is the response to recovery. In many cases, people have given up having the government assist in recovery. They are doing it themselves. Will they be able to vote? Not if the infrastructure is so impaired that people cannot get to the polls. The Biden-Harris Federal Emergency Management Administration—FEMA–has a lot of power in determining the pace of recovery.
There have been various accounts of how the government, along with billionaire investors and World Economic Forum members like Blackrock, directed the path of Helene through North Carolina so they could take control of the lithium deposits. This theory was so widespread that even the mainstream news media picked up on it.
But pump the brakes just a second. It may be true that these corporations, investors and perhaps even the government want to get their greedy hands on the lithium deposits against property owners’ will. However, if the government wanted that land, it doesn’t have to create a natural disaster to seize it. There are hundreds of thousands of private property owners who can attest to the government’s power of eminent domain.
So let me get to the point. Under Biden-Harris, the US has sent billions of your tax dollars to terrorist entities like Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, Palestinian Authority, and more—BILLIONS. They can call it humanitarian aid or whatever—it goes to the terrorists. When these current storms hit, Biden-Harris was trying to bribe Israel to a ceasefire by offering diplomatic protection and weapons. Additionally, Biden-Harris was trying to negotiate a two-state solution with Israel’s enemies.
America is inextricably tied to Israel. It is written of Israel in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless them that bless you and curse him that curses you.” How many times has God sent natural, political or financial disasters as warnings? We have a choice to change leadership soon. To ignore that choice is, say it with me, Stupidocrisy.
On Oct. 7, 2024, one year after Hamas’ deadly attack on Israel, Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) reported that the Jewish Institute for National Security of America released a letter signed by 85 retired U.S. generals and admirals that says:
The war that the Iranian axis launched a year ago is not just a war against Israel, nor is it being fought only in the Middle East.
There should be no daylight between our two countries (Israel and the U.S.).
The United States should fully stand by Israel, including supplying it expeditiously with the critical weaponry it needs to fight this common battle against the Iranian axis.
7 is not an isolated incident but one front in a much larger global civilizational struggle.
There should be no ceasefire until Israel’s operations have succeeded in creating the conditions necessary for its citizens to return to their homes to live in peace and security.
So, too, should the United States arm and assist Israel as it responds to Iran’s latest attack against it.
It seems to me that a letter signed by 85 retired U.S. generals and admirals who believe that the national security of America is at stake should not go unnoticed.
According to them (and I agree), the Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel was not an isolated incident or just an attack on Israel; it is part of a much larger global struggle (my note: part of an effort by radical Islamic terrorists to create a one-world government and religion under a Shiite Muslim ruler).
(My opinion: Israel – the so-called Little Satan – is not just fighting for its existence. It is fighting for the existence of the U.S. – the so-called Great Satan – and the rest of the world.)
(My opinion: Every nation on earth will soon lose their national sovereignty, but not to Iran or a Shiite Muslim ruler.)
Here are some recent reports that seem to indicate that the end of the age is close.
One, on Oct. 8, 2024, Ynetnews.com reported that a member of one of the hostage families said we are still living in unprecedented times:
Nearly 100,000 Israelis are still evacuated from their homes, particularly in the north, where the situation is concerning, living in temporary accommodation. Their lives are still in flux, and their futures are uncertain. Our reservists, still fighting or stationed far from home, endure the strain of extended separation from their homes and loved ones.
The atrocities committed by the terrorists last year on Oct. 7 defy imagination. The human rights violations from that day alone encompass a terrifying spectrum: sexual violence, torture, and the burning of people of all ages.
The Chief prosecutor at the International Criminal Court is accusing Israel of deliberately starving or killing civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The UN Special Rapporteur is blaming Israel.
The UN General Assembly refuses to condemn Hamas for anything.
(My opinion: Iran financed the Hamas and Hezbollah attacks on Israel, but the corrupt UN is blaming it on Israel.)
TWO, on Oct. 10, 2024, it was reported that the Biden administration asked Saudi Arabia to assure Iran that the U.S. will not join an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear sites.
Three, on Oct. 11, 2024, Israel National News reported that:
Iran warned Israel that it will attack Israel’s civilian infrastructure if Israel retaliates for the 180 missiles that Iran recently fired at Israel.
Iran has warned Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar that Iran will retaliate against them if they allow U.S. or Israeli planes to use their airspace or bases in their countries to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities or oil wells.
The Arab nations have notified the U.S. that they do not want the U.S. to use their airspace or planes that are on bases in their nations.
Biden opposes an Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, and he prefers that Israel will choose targets other than Iran’s oil fields.
(More: On Oct. 13, 2024, World Israel News reported that there are many terrorist sympathizers in the Biben administration, and Israel is hesitant to provide the U.S. with details of its planned retaliation over concern that Biden or some of his people will sabotage Israel’s operation by leaking Israel’s plans to Iran. It is something that Obama’s people did when he was president.)
(More: On Oct. 14, 2024, it was reported that the U.S. is deploying THAAD – Terminal High Altitude Area Defense – missiles to Israel and up to 100 U.S. troops to man them.)
More: On Oct. 15, 2024, it was reported that Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu told Pres. Biden that Israel is prepared to refrain from striking Iran’s nuclear facilities, oil and natural gas reserves, and infrastructure, focusing instead on military targets because the White House intends to deploy THAAD missiles to Israel.)
Four, concerning Israel retaliating on Iran: on Oct. 12, 2024, it was reported that:
Iran is experiencing a massive cyber-attack, especially on its nuclear facilities.
Almost all of Iran’s government forces, including the judiciary, legislature and executive, have suffered severe cyber-attacks and information theft.
Iran’s nuclear facilities, along with nearly all branches of government, have faced heavy cyberattacks, resulting in stolen information.
Five, concerning Russia, Iran, and the implications for the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Oct. 11, 2024, Russian Pres. Putin said, “Moscow continues to place a high priority on cooperation with Tehran and wishes to create a new world order in which the West and Israel no longer have a dominant position in global affairs.”
Notice that Putin said this on the same day that Israel is pondering a retaliation attack on Iran.
(My opinion: There will soon be a New World Order, but it will be dominated by the Antichrist, not Russia and Iran. The militaries of Russia and Iran will be destroyed by God on the mountains of Israel.)
Six, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog (Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others attacking Israel in the latter days and latter years) and the destruction of Damascus in one night: following an Israeli attack on a Hezbollah leader in Damascus on Oct. 12, 2024, Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan said, “It is essential that Russia, Iran, and Syria take more effective measures against this situation, which poses the greatest threat to Syria’s territorial integrity.”
(My opinion: Some excellent prophecy teachers believe the Battle of Gog and Magog will be after the Antichrist confirms the covenant that begins the Tribulation Period. Others, including myself, think it could be before the Tribulation Period. Other than the latter years and latter days, we don’t know when the Battle of Gog and Magog will take place, but Russia’s growing relationship with Iran and Erdogan’s frequent threats to Israel seem to indicate that it is close.
(More: regardless of who is right or who is wrong about whether the Battle of Gog and Magog is before or during the Tribulation Period, it will happen when God puts a hook in Gog’s jaws and drags Russia, Iran, Turkey, and the others onto the mountains of Israel.)
Seven, concerning anti-Semitism, the decline of America, deceit, and Jerusalem being a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone for the entire world: on Oct. 11, 2024, it was reported that a CBS internal memo told journalists not to refer to Jerusalem as part of Israel.)
The U.S. Congress recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital 29 years ago (1995), but these CBS officials think they can overrule Congress.
Media Bias is a real threat to Democracy.
Eight, concerning the decline of America: on Oct. 13, 2024, the U.S. sent a 5-page letter to Israel with a lengthy list of demands that Israel must meet in the next 30 days, or the U.S. will enforce an arms embargo against Israel.
Among other things, America’s demands include:
No policy of forced evacuation from northern to Southern Gaza (Israel is trying to evacuate citizens to keep them from getting killed or injured).
More humanitarian aid must be allowed into Gaza (Hamas steals a lot of the aid, and some of the trucks are smuggling in weapons to Hamas).
Israel must halt its actions against the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) that Israel has shut down because some of these UN employees took part in the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel (raped women, killed Jews, burned people at stakes, took hostages, etc.).
There is more, but the bottom line is that the U.S. is threatening to stop the sale of weapons to Israel (Israel needs some of these to defend itself).
(My opinion: God oversees Israel, so threatening Israel or trying to replace God is a bad mistake.)
(Question: What happened to the ramp that the U.S. military built for ships to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza? Answer: Waves of rough water destroyed it.)
Nine, concerning the spread of pestilences at the end of the age: on Oct. 11, 2024, it was reported that a UN World Health Organization (WHO) report says some of the known side effects of Pfizer’s BioNTech vaccine are monkeypox, smallpox, and cow pox.
Have you got that?
Officials, employers, and others were forcing people to be vaccinated, and one of the vaccines was causing deadly diseases to emerge and spread.
(My opinion: Citizens need to realize that there are people in high places who believe there are too many people on earth.)
Ten, concerning deceit, when Israeli forces captured a village in southern Lebanon, they said every house in the village was a Hezbollah terror base.
All the people were troops masquerading as citizens (wearing civilian clothes).
Every house contained weapons and military supplies.
It was a military base disguised as a village (barracks disguised as houses, etc.).
Eleven, concerning world government: on Oct. 16, 2024, the Washington Examiner reported that former Pres. Trump told Glen Beck that the U.S. is being run by a committee of people, not Pres. Biden or Vice-Pres. Harris.
Trump believes Biden has been overthrown and America has been taken over by “nasty” and “fascist” leaders.
(Note: Trump didn’t say it, but I have received many e-mails from readers that think that former Pres. Obama is involved.)
Here is my daily update on the Israel-Hamas war.
Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024 (Day 370): The three hundred and fifteenth day of the resumed war. Day 148 of the attack on Rafah.
An Arab terrorist stabbed 6 people in Israel (2 were critically wounded).
Friday, Oct. 11, 2024 (Day 371) The three hundred and sixteenth day of the resumed war. Day 149 of the attack on Rafah.
Yom Kippur (the Jewish Day of Atonement) will begin at 6 pm tonight, but Israeli troops will keep fighting.
More than 120 rockets were fired at Israel in the first few hours of the holiday.
Israel said its troops will keep attacking Hezbollah until the terrorists are no longer near Israel’s border with Lebanon.
Israel ordered Palestinians to evacuate several areas in northern Gaza to avoid being injured or killed when Israel attacks, but Hamas was preventing many from leaving.
Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 (Day 372) The three hundred and seventeenth day of the resumed war. Day 150 of the attack on Rafah.
Captured minutes from Hamas meetings reveal that Hamas tried to get Iran and Hezbollah to join their Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel.
Israel ordered residents of 22 Lebanese villages to evacuate and go north before Israeli troops go in to deal with Hezbollah terrorists.
Israel ordered health workers and medical teams in Lebanon to stop using ambulances because Hezbollah uses ambulances to transport troops and weapons.
Hezbollah fired 320 rockets, mortars, and drones at Israel.
Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024 (Day 373) The three hundred and eighteenth day of the resumed war. Day 151 of the attack on Rafah.
Hezbollah fired more than 115 rockets into Israel.
Israel keeps urging the UN to withdraw its peacekeeping troops from Lebanon, and the UN is refusing to do it. Hezbollah is firing rockets from locations in Lebanon into Israel, and Israel is planning to attack them.
A Hezbollah drone struck a community in northern Israel and wounded 60 people (3 critically).
Israel has decided to destroy Hezbollah’s drone production, maintenance, and operation forces and facilities.
Monday, Oct. 14, 2024 (Day 374) The three hundred and nineteenth day of the resumed war. Day 152 of the attack on Rafah.
Israel released audio of a conversation between a representative of the Israeli military and a civilian in Gaza who reported that Hamas is beating residents who try to evacuate northern Gaza.
Israel killed another Hezbollah commander.
Israel has discovered about 700 Hezbollah weapons depots in southern Lebanon (some weapons from Russia and China) and items supplied by the United States Agency for International Development and the United Nations World Food Program. As it was in Gaza, it is in Lebanon: Aid from the U.S. and UN is being confiscated by terrorists who are trying to destroy Israel.
Netanyahu said, “We will continue to hit Hezbollah mercilessly in all parts of Lebanon – also in Beirut.”
The UN Security Council called for the full implementation of Resolution 1701, which set the ceasefire terms that ended the Second Lebanon War.
Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024 (Day 375) The three hundred and twentieth day of the resumed war. Day 153 of the attack on Rafah.
A Hezbollah terrorist that Israel captured in a tunnel told Israeli interrogators that many Hezbollah terrorists were paid to fight, and they got afraid and abandoned their posts when Israel killed Nasrallah.
Israeli jets bombed an underground weapons cache in Beirut, Lebanon.
Israel assassinated 2 Palestinian terrorists, arrested 20, and seized weapons.
Israel captured a Hamas terror cell that recently botched a suicide bombing in Tel Aviv and was planning more.
The U.S. has suspended all hostage negotiations until after the upcoming presidential election.
FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
Israel was, is, and always will be the apple of God’s eye. As Christians, we should love the Jewish people and pray for Israel. Why? Simply put, God says we should. Scripture is inspired by the Holy Spirit, and we can trust what God says.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteous: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
We have Scripture, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, to guide us in our living. The Old Testament was fulfilled by Jesus, but the Old Testament was not negated. So, when we read prophecy passages, we can be certain they will be fulfilled just as Scripture says. When we read passages in which God tells of His love for Israel, we need to take note and love Israel, too.
“Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: if those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever” (Jeremiah 31:35-36).
God will never stop loving Israel, and its existence as a nation is secure.
There is a very evil belief among many Christians that says that Christians have replaced Israel in God’s heart. That is a teaching straight from Satan. Christians are a separate group of believers. In the beginning, there were only people with no separate national or ethnic identity. Sin separates us from God, who loves all of His creation. To solve the sin problem, God began to teach humans what constitutes sin. He called Abraham, gave him the promised land which we call Israel, forever, and set in motion the steps to reconciliation.
It was through Abraham’s son Isaac that the promise would be fulfilled. Moses led the Israelites out of Egyptian captivity and was given the law. This law governed Israel for years and kept them separate from Gentiles, who were mostly ungodly pagans; it taught the ways of God.
“Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster” (Galatians 3:24-25).
This is a truth that many people don’t understand. Christ came to fulfill the law, not to destroy it. The Ten Commandments are still the moral guidance we should follow. When we fail to live up to God’s standards, we no longer have to offer a blood sacrifice to cover our sin. Jesus Christ was the blood sacrifice to take our sin away. Does that mean we no longer sin? Of course, we sin, and we always will while living on this side of Heaven.
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us” (1 John 1:8-10).
Some feel you have to confess to a priest or other clergy, but Christians only need to confess to Christ. No human can take your sin away.
Having said all of that, where does that leave Israel? Did Jesus die for their sins? Absolutely. The salvation of all people is available to everyone through Jesus Christ.
“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:27-29).
That’s a blessing. By faith in Jesus, Gentiles become Abraham’s seed, just as the Jewish people can be saved by grace through faith in Jesus. Salvation isn’t an automatic thing. First, you have to realize you are a sinner and that no animal sacrifice can take sin away.
“For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goat should take away sins” (Hebrews 10:4).
Only the blood of Jesus will take away sin completely. “By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all” (Hebrews 10:10).
In order to obtain eternal life, you have to personally accept Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for your salvation. This goes for every ethnic group on earth.
There is no other way to find eternal life but through Jesus Christ. Allah cannot save you; Buddha cannot bring salvation, nor can Mormonism. I could keep going through a long list of cults and false teachings, but I will simply quote Jesus.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).
There is no other way. Salvation is a free gift of God, but like all gifts, you have to accept it. You cannot be a Christian simply because your parents are Christians. You might have an easier time understanding your need for salvation through Jesus, but you have to accept His free gift for yourself.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).
Nobody can make that confession for you.
So, where does that leave the Jewish people? They have promises from God that He hasn’t turned away from them. Just as promised, the Messiah was born of a virgin in Bethlehem. Jesus was Jewish, but as foretold in prophecy, He was rejected by the very people who should have recognized Him as their Messiah. It’s important to pay attention to prophecy. Because they rejected Him, salvation was opened to Gentiles, but the Jewish people were blinded and didn’t accept Him.
“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins” (Romans 11:25-27).
If anybody tries to convince you that God no longer sees Israel as the apple of His eye, they are wrong. Eventually, all of Israel will recognize Jesus as the Messiah, but they will face horrendous troubles to bring them to the truth. The Tribulation will be what brings them to recognize Jesus as their Messiah. When that happens, Jesus will return and end their battle with the evil that is even now working in this fallen world. That won’t happen until the “fulness of the Gentiles” has been accomplished. What is that? It’s a number of people who accept Jesus Christ for salvation. What is the number? Only God knows.
When people set a date for the Rapture, don’t believe them. Usually, they try to tie the Rapture to a Jewish Feast Day. Scripture clearly says that nobody knows the day, and they forget that it’s a number that needs to be reached, not a particular day. Of course, the number could happen on a Jewish Feast, but Christians need to witness to the lost. That’s the only way to help fulfill the time of the Gentiles and bring the Rapture.
Remember to pray for Israel. As the rockets take aim at that precious nation and the bombs drop on them, they need prayer. I have an App on my phone called Red Alert. An alarm goes off every time a rocket is fired at Israel or enemy aircraft enter Israeli air space. When the alarm sounds, I stop and pray for God’s protection over the apple of His eye. I pray that the bombs go off course and that the navigation fails on the airplanes. Scripture urges us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, God’s city and the Jewish capital.
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee” (Psalm 122:6).
Don’t pray for land division, but pray for peace. Remember, God told Abraham, “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” (Genesis 12:3).
That truth is as true today as it was when it was given.
Bless Israel, and don’t curse the apple of God’s eye.
Iran fired over 200 missiles on Israel in early October 2024 following the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
The Biden-Harris regime continues to thwart Israel in its war against Iran and its proxy states.
On Saturday, The Jerusalem Post reported that two US intelligence documents were leaked to a pro-Iranian operation and then posted on a Telegram account linked to Iran.
The documents that were leaked by the Biden-Harris regime to the pro-Iranian operation detailed Israeli plans for a potential strike plan on Iran.
Both the US Defense Department and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence declined to comment on the leaked documents.
The leak comes at a time when Israel is plotting a retalitory strike against Iran following its October 1 missile attack on the Jewish state.
This was not the first time the Biden regime was accused of leaking Israeli secrets to the Iranian regime.
Robert Malley, a deranged Trump hater, had already been suspended from his position with the Biden regime at the time. The FBI was investigating him, and whether or not he mishandled classified information at the time.
As usual, the FBI has not offered any updates on this investigation since last year.
Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) told FOX News at the time that Malley’s security violations were so serious that he was suspended without pay, and his security clearances were suspended as well.
Malley was the Biden regime’s Iran envoy during negotiations on restarting the Iran nuclear deal.
Rep. Michael McCaul: “He’s a special envoy for Iran. He is the principal architect, the negotiator on the Iran deal to resurrect the Iran deal. And the concern is that we tried to get him before my committee to testify, to brief us on Iran, and he was basically AWOL. And then we found out that he was suspended without pay because he had problems with his security clearance. He had compromised classified information, we think, with Iran, and now there’s a wider investigation into this. You can’t make this stuff up, Martha. I mean, between that and the $6 billion they’ve pledged to put into Iran, the largest state sponsor of terror, all in the name of getting another JCPOA deal done, it’s not acceptable to House Republicans.
President Biden’s special Iran envoy had his security clearance suspended earlier this year after “serious” issues were raised internally about his handling of “protected material,” according to a leaked State Department memo published over the weekend by an Iranian media outlet.
Robert Malley was placed on unpaid leave effective at the end of June, but the State Department declined to specify why, drawing scrutiny from congressional Republicans.
The Tehran Times, an English-language daily newspaper believed to have close ties to the theocracy’s foreign ministry, purported to shed light on the matter Sunday by publishing an April 21 memo labeled “sensitive but unclassified” and addressed to Malley from Erin Smart, director of the Office of Personnel Security and Suitability in the Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security.
In the memo, Smart wrote that the office “has received information regarding you that raises serious security concerns and can be disqualifying under National Security Adjudicative Guidelines E (Personal Conduct), K (Handling Protected Information) and M (Use of Information Technology).”
Earlier this year, Israel iced out the Biden-Harris regime before launching their deadly strike on Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.

JERUSALEM – The United States is apparently investigating the source of a leak of top secret documents which purport to show detailed plans of Israel’s presumed retaliation for Iran’s ballistic missile strike on the Jewish state on Oct. 1. The documents found their way to a pro-Iranian Telegram channel, where they were published.
The two files were published by a pro-Iran Telegram account, the “Middle East Spectator,” which claimed they were sent by a source in the Pentagon and detailed U.S. observations of measures taken by the Israeli Air Force on Oct. 15–16 in the lead-up to a purported attack, according to a report in the Times of Israel.
Neither the Pentagon nor the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence officially commented on the leak. However, in the early hours of Sunday morning Israel time, an American official did confirm the documents were genuine, prompting an investigation into the leak.
It was instructive that despite early denials or claims of delayed authentication, the relevant branches of the U.S. defense establishment began to act very quickly as though the documents were indeed genuine, and a highly embarrassing leak had taken place.

Perhaps unsurprisingly it was Axios’ own Biden administration stenographer Barak Ravid who broke the story, and it was reported a senior Israeli official told the Axios news site the defense establishment was taking the leak very seriously.
Whether the source of the leak is found or not – and the Biden administration’s record is not good to say the least – this latest event represents a nadir in relations between the United States and Israel. Jerusalem enjoyed – if that is the correct word in the circumstances – a period of sustained successes, seemingly precisely because Israel’s political and military leaders ignored Washington’s advice. The very fruits of their labors seemed to broadcast how Israel’s interests had been significantly advanced, precisely because they had done the opposite of what the Biden administration wanted them to do.
Remember, Vice President and Democratic nominee for the presidency Kamala Harris, who hubristically declared she had studied the maps and therefore, cautioned against the IDF’s entry into Rafah. The retrieval of some hostages and the elimination late last week of the Oct. 7 mastermind Yahya Sinwar is evidence, if any were needed, of just how out of her depth Harris truly is.
Furthermore, the IAF strikes which took out Hezbollah secretary-general Hassan Nasrallah, one of his most trusted consigliere Fuad Shukr, and the elimination of Hamas “political” leader Ismail Haniyeh, were all kept secret from the U.S., clearly – and justifiably – because Israel has an enormous deficit of trust with regard to the American administration.
Beyond Biden and Harris, however, it is becoming ever-clearer that certain individuals within specific departments in the U.S. government are actively working against Israel, a supposed regional ally in the Middle East; and worse, are actually providing succor for the Islamic Republic of Iran.
One of the functionaries under most scrutiny is Ariane Tabatabai from the Pentagon’s office of low intensity conflict/special operations, where she works with Christopher Maier. There are others too around whom suspicion of their loyalties is heightened, including Maher Bitai, and the disgraced – although still influential – Robert Malley.
I called it this morning.
The Biden-Harris White House is brimming with pro-Khamenei operatives.

At the very least, the leak gives Israel enormous pause for thought about multiple aspects of the Biden administration and its attitude toward the Jewish state. While the tired and unhelpful line about “Israel having a right to defend itself” is trotted out ad infinitum, it is becoming less clear what this actually means, and to what end this current administration actually believes this mantra.
I’m struggling to wrap my head around the scale of this failure.
This isn’t about Israel. If America can’t keep secrets, it won’t be able to fight wars, conduct espionage operations or pursue delicate negotiations as long as some junior official doesn’t like it. https://t.co/aBWENiuHLA
Furthermore, there is some confusion about how penetrative U.S. intelligence is. The execrable vice president sought to take credit – perhaps another case of stolen valor if you will, which seems to be a problem with the top of the Democratic presidential ticket – for American intelligence assistance in helping to track and corner Sinwar.
The fact he was taken out unexpectedly by an ordinary unit while on a somewhat routine reconnaissance mission – and not by an elite commando unit – rather suggests this was not the case. But it has caused some to wonder how much the U.S. knew about the Oct. 7, 2023, attack, and whether it simply chose not to share any of that information.
It is a seriously sorry state of affairs when the only impression left is of the Biden-Harris administration not wanting Israel to win its war against Iran and its multiple proxies. Is it simply a case of sunk costs – the United States having wasted so much political, diplomatic and monetary capital trying to bring the Islamic Republic in from the cold as per former President Obama’s phantasy? Or is it something more nefarious?
What cannot be denied is at every turn different actors in this administration have put impediment after impediment in Israel’s way, making the job of actually winning significantly more difficult.

In today’s world, it does not matter whether or not info that “gets out” is true or not, because today’s lemmings, who view the world through their emotions instead of through God’s eyes, cannot discern truth from propaganda.
