According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. No one with a trace of human pity can think of the effects of nuclear warfare without feeling utter abhorrence for such a thing and deepest compassion for those who may sometime be caught in its fiery hell.
Yet we Christians would be foolish to allow ourselves to be carried away by the ominous predictions of unbelieving men. We know well enough that nuclear energy is theoretically capable of wiping out every form of life on this planet, including mankind. But we also know that such a catastrophe will never occur. We further know that the earth will never be inhabited by a degenerate race of off-human mutants made so by huge overdoses of radiation.
First, the Holy Scriptures tell us what we could never learn in any other way: They tell us who we are and what we are, how we got here, why we are here and what we are required to do while we remain here. They trace our history from the beginning down to the present time and on into the centuries and millenniums ahead. They track us into the atomic age, through the space age and on into the golden age. They reveal that at an appropriate time direction of the world will be taken away from men and placed in the hands of the Man who alone has the wisdom and power to rule it!
The details are given in satisfying fullness in the writings of the holy prophets and apostles and in the words of Christ while He was yet among us.1
There is somewhat so very sweet and precious in this expression, that, my soul, I would have thee to meditate upon it. Surely the apostles had a special meaning in calling the Lord Jesus “the holy child Jesus;” and no doubt the Holy Ghost did not cause his servants thus to express themselves for nought. It will be thy wisdom, therefore, to inquire. I do not find a similar phrase in all the word of God. The Redeemer is spoken of, in the days of his infancy, as “the child Jesus;” and when twelve years of age, he is still called “the child;” (see Luke 2:27, 34, 43;) but nowhere, that I recollect, does he receive the blessed appellation that he is here distinguished by, of “the holy child Jesus.” It would be presumption in thee, to determine the cause of this distinction; but it can be none to inquire. Sit down then, this evening, favourable as it is to solemn meditation, and ponder well the subject. Child and servant, in scripture language, we are told, have the same meaning: hence the apostle observes, in his epistle to the Church of the Galatians, that “the heir, as long he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all.” (Gal. 4:1.) The phrase, therefore, may be accepted under this view, and it will be agreeable to the whole tenor of the Bible. (See Isaiah 42:1, compared with Matt. 12:18.) Nevertheless, I am inclined to think, that somewhat more is intended by it, in this place of the apostle’s prayer, when they called Christ “thy holy child Jesus.” Perhaps, in allusion to his holy nature, contrasted to the unholy hands by whom he was crucified and slain; and in this view the subject is truly lovely and interesting. Christ was to be crucified by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God; but none but unholy hands were to be imbrued in the blood of God’s “holy child Jesus.” And doth not the expression, “holy child Jesus,” serve, in a very striking manner, and with peculiar emphasis, to bring home to thy thoughts the holiness of that nature, which, in the childhood of Jesus, and from the womb, was altogether, “holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens?” Hence, before his incarnation, the angel called him by a peculiar name, “that holy thing;” not that holy man, but that “holy thing.” (Luke 1:35.) And doth not the expression bring home, in a yet more endearing manner, if possible, the blessedness of all this is in the cause? For “the holy child Jesus,” that “holy thing,” became the one holy representative of all his Church and people; he was, and is, and ever will be, “the head of his body, the Church;” and hence, in the sight of Jehovah, Christ and his members are one. Now, my soul, considering the phrase in this point of view, what a fulness of light, and life, and glory, and joy, doth it hold forth, and pour in, upon the believer’s mind! Lamb of God! I would say, “holy child Jesus!” in thy holiness, cause me to behold myself always appearing before God, and my Father; for, sure I am, if the Lord Jehovah made thee to be sin for thy people, when thou knewest no sin, it was with the express design, in his holy purpose, counsel, and will, that “they should be made the righteousness of God in thee.”1
There are times when all the promises and doctrines of the Bible are of no avail, unless a gracious hand shall apply them to us. We are thirsty, but too faint to crawl to the water-brook. When a soldier is wounded in battle it is of little use for him to know that there are those at the hospital who can bind up his wounds, and medicines there to ease all the pains which he now suffers: what he needs is to be carried thither, and to have the remedies applied. It is thus with our souls, and to meet this need there is one, even the Spirit of truth, who takes of the things of Jesus, and applies them to us. Think not that Christ hath placed his joys on heavenly shelves that we may climb up to them for ourselves, but he draws near, and sheds his peace abroad in our hearts. O Christian, if thou art to-night labouring under deep distresses, thy Father does not give thee promises and then leave thee to draw them up from the Word like buckets from a well, but the promises he has written in the Word he will write anew on your heart. He will manifest his love to you, and by his blessed Spirit, dispel your cares and troubles. Be it known unto thee, O mourner, that it is God’s prerogative to wipe every tear from the eye of his people. The good Samaritan did not say, “Here is the wine, and here is the oil for you”; he actually poured in the oil and the wine. So Jesus not only gives you the sweet wine of the promise, but holds the golden chalice to your lips, and pours the life-blood into your mouth. The poor, sick, way-worn pilgrim is not merely strengthened to walk, but he is borne on eagles’ wings. Glorious gospel! which provides everything for the helpless, which draws nigh to us when we cannot reach after it—brings us grace before we seek for grace! Here is as much glory in the giving as in the gift. Happy people who have the Holy Ghost to bring Jesus to them.1

Bad companions must be chased away, for they are great enemies to holy living. We must be plain with the ungodly, and tell them that their company will never please us till they learn to please God.
116–119 Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually. Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood. Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies. (God’s justice in treading down and destroying the wicked is not distasteful to a holy mind; on the contrary, we love him for being angry with evil, and relieving the world of those who are given over to it. A God without justice would be no God to just men.)
120 My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments. (Seeing others punished, we feel a holy awe in our own souls, and fear lest we also should be deceived by sin.)

(David was a decided man, he took strong ground and did not compromise, he loved right and hated wrong. That is the only safe position: there let us be found.)
Jeremiah 44:27 — As we read in Isaiah 42:8, the LORD (not just a generic god, but Yahweh [“I AM THAT I AM”]) will not share His glory with another. There is no other Savior (Isaiah 43:11). There are no other gods allowed (Exodus 20:3) and no other worship allowed (Exodus 34:14). If His people will forsake Him for the “queen of heaven,” He will punish them with the sword and famine.
Jeremiah 45:3 — This chapter was written before the final conquest. Baruch had been a faithful assistant to the unpopular prophet. Note that Baruch is given the same blessing as Ebedmelech – protection of his life. No, Baruch would not be able to time the Judaean stock market and profit off of his connection with the prophet. Baruch’s noble family and friends would lose their position and power and they would be carried away in chains to Babylon. No, the political message of Jeremiah/Baruch in 602 BC was not “Make Israel Great Again.” Their political message was “Too Late.” May we repent in our nation and seek God before it is too late!
Does this seal of “Baruch” contain the actual thumbprint of Jeremiah’s friend? Or is it a fake?
Jeremiah 46:27 — In spite of all this judgment, God is still not done with Israel!
Jeremiah 47:2 — We are in the “judgment” section of Jeremiah. Instead of skimming through these passages because “God isn’t talking to me” or “this doesn’t seem relevant,” let’s look at how God speaks.
As we discussed in the Psalms, the language is more poetical (notice the “thought rhyme” or parallelism – the author uses two different ways of saying the same thing to create a 3D view of the issue.
“waters rise up” / “overflowing flood”
“the land and all that is therein” / “the city and them that dwell therein”
“men shall cry” / “inhabitants shall howl”
Sometimes God gives just an 8-word message of judgment (Jonah 3:4), and at other times He uses 196 words to describe His judgment on the Philistines.
2 Timothy 2:25 — Meekness is one of the most underutilized characteristics of a godly pastor. How many pastors have seen their counseling unsuccessful because they came not in a spirit of meekness but appeared self-righteous? How many churches have been split in two because of a pastor that could no longer be described as meek? How many pastors have ended up in jail after they departed far from meekness? Pray for your pastor that he can continue in meekness. Pray that you can minister in meekness and not hinder the Gospel.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 — Are we in the last days? Looks like a pretty good description of today’s society.
2 Timothy 3:10 — Paul keeps emphasizing doctrine, sound words (2 Timothy 1:13), “the things” (2 Timothy 2:2, 2 Timothy 3:14), “profitable for doctrine” (2 Timothy 3:16); in contrast to “foolish and unlearned questions” (2 Timothy 2:23), “words to no profit” (2 Timothy 2:14), and “profane and vain babblings” (2 Timothy 2:16).
2 Timothy 3:12 — When’s the last time you suffered persecution?
2 Timothy 3:17 — The Anglican spelling of this verse is “throughly furnished,” emphasizing the idea that you are built inside and outside by God.

That archenemy, the devil, is a liar from the beginning; but he is so very plausible that, like mother Eve, we are led to believe him. Yet in our experience we shall prove him a liar.
He says that we shall fall from grace, dishonor our profession, and perish with the doom of apostates; but, trusting in the Lord Jesus, we shall hold on our way and prove that Jesus loses none whom His Father gave Him. He tells us that our bread will fail, and we shall starve with our children; yet the Feeder of the ravens has not forgotten us yet, and He will never do so, but will prepare us a table in the presence of our enemies.
He whispers that the Lord will not deliver us Out of the trial which is looming in the distance, and he threatens that the last ounce will break the camel’s back. What a liar he is! For the Lord will never leave us or forsake us. “Let him deliver him now!” cries the false fiend: but the Lord will silence him by coming to our rescue.
He takes great delight in telling us that death will prove too much for us. “How wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?” But there also he shall prove a liar unto us, and we shall pass through the river singing psalms of glory.
Christian salvation is many things, but how are they justified, then sanctified and finally, glorified?
Justified by Faith in Christ
Christian salvation is many things, but how are they justified, then sanctified and finally, glorified? We are justified by the free gift of grace by God (Eph 2:8-9) when we put our trust in Jesus Christ and believe for eternal life (John 3:16), and it’s eternal, not temporary. Jesus said “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out” (John 6:37). It is God’s will that He “should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day” (John 6:39). Further, Jesus said it is precisely “the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day” (John 6:40).
Giver of Eternal Life
Jesus Himself said, “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand” (John 10:28-29). Whoever believes in Christ is eternally secure and not even death can separate them from our Lord (Rom 8:38). Those who die in the faith and those living in the faith at Christ’s return have eternal life. Again, the Lord said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this” (John 10:28-29)? Whether you pass away before His return or are alive at His coming, you “shall never die.” He bore our sin so that we might have His righteousness (2 Cor 5:21); enough so we can enter heaven and God’s presence without being incinerated.
Sanctified By the Word of God
In John 17:17 Jesus says, “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” It is not a truth but “the truth” of His Word that sanctifies. God’s Word sanctifies us because “it is the power (lit. “energy”) of God for salvation” (1 Rom/1 Cor 1:18). We are not that power, but God’s Word has power…the power to save and to sanctify. God has to open our minds to understand the Word and that comes by the Spirit. On one occasion, Christ Himself “opened their minds to understand the Scriptures” (Luke 24:45). You can’t be saved by the Spirit alone but the Spirit and the Word working together. It takes the Spirit of God and the Word of God and the will of God to birth a child of God. The Bible has the power to save but someone must share the Word and that should be us (Isaiah 6:8). Paul asks the rhetorical question, “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching” (Rom 10:14)? Paul is saying that “faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Rom 10:17), so we must speak up! Even as you read this, the Word of God “is at work in you believer” (1 Thess 2:13c).
The Washing of the Word
Christ’s desire is “that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word” (Eph 5:26), showing the Word has cleansing or sanctifying power. He does this cleansing us through Scripture, “so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish” (Eph 5:27).
Sanctified By the Spirit
God alone can open our hearts to receive and believe the truth just as “The Lord opened [Lydia’s] heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul” (Acts 16:14b). We can only produce fruit by His power (John 15:5). As we live lives by His Spirit and His power, “the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life” (Rom 6:22). At one time, we lived lives that displeased God and did things that the world does now, but you and I “were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Cor 6:11). We are slowing being sanctified by the Spirit, leading us to live more like Christ, and we are presently “being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit” (2 Cor 3:19). God is working in us and through us, “Having begun by the Spirit…” (Gal 3:3). This is why Paul could say, “we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth” (2 Thess 2:13). There it is; it is the Word and the Spirit working together in our salvation. Amazingly, this was “according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood” (1 Pet 1:2).
Glorified
We can’t pinpoint what we will be like after Christ’s return. Some will have more glory than others, I presume, but we do know that “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever” (Dan 12:3). Who are the “wise?” It is those who trust in God. Jesus Himself said that “the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father” (Matthew 13:43). Even though our bodies are “sown corruptible; it is raised incorruptible” (1 Corinthians 15:42). We also know that “our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we also await a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. He will change our lowly body to conform with his glorified body by the power that enables him also to bring all things into subjection to himself” (Phil 3:20-21). The Apostle John knew our bodies would be glorified after the final resurrection, saying that “we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is” (1 John 3:2b).
Conclusion
For those who have trusted in Jesus Christ, are the same “whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified” (Rom 8:30). We were justified, we are being sanctified, and someday, we will be glorified. The Book of Revelation and elsewhere says we are called to be leaders, some priests, rulers, governors, and some rulers of five cities, and some of ten cities, and so on. God didn’t call us and prepare us a kingdom to sit around and play the harp on cloud nine. He has a purpose for us in this day (to witness) and in the future (to rule). Whatever that purpose is for you in the kingdom, I have no clue. God knows and so that’s all that matters.
Rescued From Wrath
I pray you have put your trust in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. If that has not happened yet, you are in real mortal and eternal danger. Like all mankind, you are one breath, one heartbeat…one accident away from eternity when it will be too late to repent. Today is the best day to believe (2 Cor 6:2) since tomorrow is no guarantee. If Jesus Christ came today, here is your fate (Matt 7:21-23). This is why I plead with you as you read this, repent today…and I mean right now. Put your trust in Jesus Christ. If you do not, you will face God’s judgment after death guaranteed (Heb 9:27) or at Jesus Christ’s appearance (Rev 20:12-15), which could happen at any moment.

GA special prosecutor admits to meeting with Biden team: Disgraced attorney Nathan Wade, who formerly served with the special prosecutor in Georgia’s election interference case against Donald Trump, recently admitted to congressional investigators that he met with Biden-Harris administration officials multiple times when he was on the case. Wade was removed from the case after his affair with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis came to light. According to a Judiciary Committee investigator, Wade was asked, “If you billed eight hours for the interview with DC/White House, it’s safe to assume that you would have taken part in the interview?” He answered, “Yes, ma’am.” Wade also admitted to meeting with “lawyers” involved in the House J6 Committee. When asked about specific details from those meetings, Wade said he couldn’t recall. Nevertheless, Wade’s admission does establish the long-suspected involvement of the Biden-Harris administration in the lawfare actions against Trump.

It’s a safe bet that the vast majority of voters don’t want America to resemble the single-party Democrat disaster of Detroit.
Harris says “genocide” by Israel is real: During a campaign stop at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, an anti-Israel protester questioned Kamala Harris about Israel’s war against Hamas and Hezbollah. Harris answered, “I know what you’re speaking of. I want a ceasefire. I want the hostage deal done. I want the war to end.” The protester continued to press, “But what about the genocide? What about the genocide, though?” Harris tried to move on, but the protester continued to raise the question of genocide and was eventually escorted away. At that point, Harris said, “Listen, what he’s talking about, it’s real. That’s not the subject that I came to discuss today, but it’s real, and I respect his voice.” Was Harris actually agreeing with the false and repeatedly debunked claim that Israel is engaged in genocide?

Jean Carroll’s dubious defamation case against Donald Trump, members of the “Central Park Five” have filed a lawsuit against Trump alleging that he purposefully misrepresented the rape case that was raised against them. Back in 1989, these five teenagers were convicted of assault and rape. Their conviction was vacated in 2002. During his debate with Kamala Harris, Trump referenced the Central Park Five, claiming that they had pleaded guilty and had killed someone. However, after initially confessing to the crime, all five individuals recanted and claimed police coercion, and they never pleaded guilty. Furthermore, the victim, while beaten severely, did not die. No physical evidence tied them to the crime, and years later, a convicted criminal serving a life sentence confessed, and his DNA matched the evidence. Their success against Trump remains to be seen.
Budget deficit dwarfs tax revenue surge: So much for Joe Biden’s boast of cutting the deficit in half. This year, for the first time in U.S. history without any pandemic spending to blame, federal government deficit spending hit almost $1.9 trillion. Notably, for the first time in our nation’s history, the U.S. Treasury paid more than $1 trillion in federal debt interest alone. To make matters worse, this massive government overspending comes in the midst of a surge in tax revenue totaling a record $4.9 trillion in FY2024, which is 11% higher than last year. There is simply no excuse for this out-of-control spending. And yet, despite the massive growth in tax revenue, Kamala Harris wants to raise taxes even higher. Is there a greedier institution than the federal government?
Trump visits North Carolina offering encouragement: On Monday, Donald Trump visited areas of North Carolina that were devastated by flooding from Hurricane Helene. He complimented the hard work of first responders and promised to provide more aid. He praised the American Spirit of people coming together to help each other out. “All of America shares your sorrow and your grief over the past few weeks,” he said. “This region has seen an extraordinary hardship. But in the midst of such terrible tragedy, we have also seen the extraordinary love that binds us together as Americans.” He added, “Nothing is more inspiring than to see the American spirit triumph over adversity with the most selfless acts of generosity and love.” A former Green Beret who used his helicopter to rescue folks in North Carolina praised Trump for coming, saying, “To have you here, to have an opportunity to have this conversation on a national level, will keep western North Carolina on the map, and not leave the communities holding the bag on the back end of this.” Trump has thus far helped to raise some $8 million in aid for storm victims.

Donald Trump has always had the most astonishing gift for hyperbole and bluster, which gets him in perennial trouble with the humorless and diabolically partisan mainstream media. The latest pronouncement that has them in hysterics is the use of the phrase “the enemy from within.”
Trump’s October 13 interview with Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo had one particular exchange that Democrats are raging about:
Bartiromo: “Joe Biden said he doesn’t think it’s going to be a peaceful election day.”
Trump: “Well, he doesn’t have any idea what’s happening because he spends most of his days sleeping. I think the bigger problem is the enemy from within — not even the people that have come in and [are] destroying our country. By the way, totally destroying our country. The towns, the villages — they’re being inundated. But I don’t think they’re the problem in terms of election day. I think the bigger problem are the people from within. We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical-left lunatics. … And it should be very easily handled, if necessary, by National Guard or, if really necessary, by the military because they can’t let that happen.”
Trump went on to use the phrase “the enemy within” several more times in other Fox News interviews last week.
The propagandists at The Washington Post, ABC News, and CNN are already churning out how this is indicative of a dictator. They accuse Trump of wanting to use the military to go after his political opponents and specifically targeting former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congressman Adam Schiff with this “inflammatory rhetoric.” The New York Times names General Mark A. Milley as another potential Trump target.
All these bogeyman accusations are the fever dreams of demented partisan hacks.
Kamala Harris’s campaign immediately seized upon this narrative to rehash the old chestnut that Trump is a deranged, power-hungry dictator who should be kept away from the White House at all costs. They ranted, “Even in his Fox News safe space, Donald Trump cannot help but show himself as the unhinged, angry, unstable man that he is — focused on his own petty grievances and tired playbook of division.”
This projection is rich coming from the campaign that divides its own constituents into identity boxes (see “White Dudes for Harris”) and deploys former President Barack Obama to call black men unmanly for not wanting to vote for Harris. Democrats don’t know what a man or a woman even is.
It’s also rich coming from a party whose current standard-bearer stood before a red backlit background flanked by two Marines and who had the gall to call half the country an “extreme threat to our democracy, to our freedom, to our rights” because “they just don’t respect the rule of law.”
The Wall Street Journal editorial board also points out that Harris — like the rest of her propagandists — is making mountains out of a molehill. “Ms. Harris is making much of Mr. Trump’s comments,” the editors write, adding, “It was a typically grandiose and self-defeating statement, but when we asked about it Thursday in an interview, Mr. Trump made clear after some rambling that he was talking about destructive riots. He said he’d ‘certainly not [use force] against my opponents — it’s against civil unrest.’”
This clarification is obvious to anyone with half a brain, but that might be too much to expect from Democrats.
It’s also worth noting that the majority of the political violence in recent years has come from nutjobs on the left side of the political spectrum. From the George Floyd “Summer of Rage” to the two assassination attempts against Trump to the pro-Hamas ignoramuses on college campuses, it’s the radical leftists who are happy to cause as much violence as they can get away with perpetrating.

Many people have joked that Orwell’s 1984 wasn’t supposed to be an instruction manual, but now it’s not a joke. Orwell’s cautionary warning about authoritarianism, mass surveillance, and the suppression of free speech through the use of propaganda, censorship, and threat of imprisonment and torture, has come to fruition, especially since the Party’s rollout of the covid plandemic in 2020. Despite virtually every student being required to read 1984 at some point in their schooling, none of Orwell’s strident warnings seem to have been grasped. Therefore, the ruling oligarchy has used virtually every totalitarian tool in the novel to their fullest extent.
I don’t believe anything the government says, reports, instructs me to fear, or demands me to hate. I have felt this way for at least the last two decades. And my mistrust has proven to be entirely warranted, as our freedoms, liberties, and rights have been trampled upon and discarded by our overlords. With the proliferation of social media platforms, which should have vastly expanded our free speech opportunities and free flow of information, we’ve seen a massive effort by “The Party”/Deep State to censor anything that deviates from the approved state narrative and career ending punishment of those willing to contradict the lies, mistruths, and disinformation.

The bloviating neo-con authoritarian tyrants fall back on the same old tired narrative of the U.S. being the beacon of light in a dark world, when it is the failing American empire spreading death, destruction, and disarray around the globe. Hanging their hat on the most powerful military in the world and having the dominant currency in the world is a losing proposition.
We spent over $2 trillion fighting the Taliban from 2001 until 2022 and were defeated by a bunch of third world goat herders. Most powerful military in the world, my ass. Every military conflict we initiate or sponsor becomes a clusterfuck. The U.S. initiated the Ukraine war in 2014 with the CIA overthrow of the legitimately elected government and we have poured over a hundred billion into this quagmire since provoking Putin to invade. We fund all sides in the Middle East debacle, that threatens to expand into WW3. This doesn’t even count the hundreds of billions wasted in the destruction of Iraq, Libya, and Syria. But at least the military industrial complex extracted enormous profits as the empire crumbled.
The U.S. dollar is no longer king. Its demise is being signaled by the all-time highs in gold and crypto-currencies. Russia, China and their expanding coalition of BRICS countries are rapidly building a new economic paradigm that will further reduce the world’s dependence on the USD. But, these external forces are nothing compared to the death spiral initiated by our own corrupt politicians, central bankers, and government bureaucrat drones.
Your government added $500 billion to the national debt in 3 weeks, and is now adding at a rate exceeding $2 trillion per year, while paying $1.2 trillion per year in interest on the existing national debt of $35.8 trillion. For perspective, at the beginning of this century the national debt was $5.7 trillion, after 211 years as a country, and we were running small surpluses annually. Gold is always a good barometer of how well a country’s finances have been managed. It stood at $275 per ounce on January 1, 2000 and now is up by a factor of 10 at $2,736 today. The financial situation of this country is dire, but everyone continues to pretend everything is normal. It’s not normal and the crash will mark the end of this empire and possible the end of America as a country.
I’ve been committing thoughtcrime every day since I began my blog in 2009. Both statements cite the same surveys, use the same language, and make the same points in the same order, with a paragraph added here or there. They even contain the same typos, such as missing punctuation or mistaken plurals.
One error—a “who” that should have been a “whom”—was corrected in Harris’s transposition.
The main difference between their testimonies is that Logli submitted his to the Senate instead of the House. And unlike Harris, Logli is a Republican.
She probably ran it through ‘Grammarly’ before she copy and pasted it.
The passages are some of the most striking cases in which Harris, a former senator and state AG, appears to have plagiarized in her capacity as a government official, lifting large chunks of texts from other attorneys—and in one case from Wikipedia—without attribution.
The examples have not been previously reported and range from paragraphs to pages. Several appear in reports that Harris published as California attorney general, a post she held for six years and has made a centerpiece of her campaign.
These are all new and not the previously reported cases of copying the work of others.
With just two weeks to go until Election Day, the new examples could undercut key parts of the Harris campaign’s message as it navigates a tightening race.
In other words, it could show voters she is a massive fraud.

The story came from Polaris Project, a nonprofit that runs the National Human Trafficking Hotline. By June 2012, the project had posted vignettes on its website that were “representative of the types of calls” the hotline receives and “meant for informational purposes only.”
The only detail she changed was the location. The Polaris Project described a young woman, “Kelly,” who had been forced to engage in prostitution and was rescued by law enforcement in Washington, D.C. The change effectively gave Harris credit for a rescue that never occurred, at least in her state. O.H Skinner, Arizona’s former solicitor general, said the move reflected a common perception of Harris among legal officials at the time.

Several caravans, thousands-strong, are making their way through Mexico, hoping to cross the United States‘ border before a potential administration change with the presidential election just weeks away.
On October 5, a caravan of 600 to 800 individuals left Tapachula, Mexico, according to the Border Report. Last week, another group of 1,000 reportedly departed from the city. On Sunday, a caravan with 2,000 individuals left Mexico’s southern border.

Luis Garcia Villagran, director of the Tapachula-based Center for Human Dignity, told a local news outlet that he estimates that at least 4,000 people, divided into multiple caravans, are already moving through Mexico and on their way to the U.S.
“As we speak, 40,000 to 45,000 migrants, 30 percent from the Middle East and Africa, are stuck and trying to leave for the United States before the end of the year,” Garcia Villagran said in a statement translated by Border Report.
Joel Zambrano, a Venezuelan national traveling with the caravan that set off over the weekend, told the New York Post that a new administration “makes us fearful.”
Zambrano stated that he is concerned that after January 20, 2025, Customs and Border Protection’s CBP One application will be shut down. Currently, the mobile app allows foreign nationals to schedule an appointment at a port of entry to make an asylum claim. Approximately 1.3 million people over the past two years have been allowed into the U.S. through the Biden-Harris administration’s app and its other so-called “lawful pathways.”
“They say this could change because they could both close the CBP One appointment and all the services that are helping migrants,” Zambrano told the Post.
Trump has vowed that his top priority, should he secure the upcoming presidential election, is to “seal the border and stop the migrant invasion,” according to his campaign’s website. He also pledged to “carry out the largest deportation operation in American history.”
With immigration a top-of-mind concern for most voters, Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris has also attempted to appear tough on the border crisis that the Biden-Harris administration manufactured.
During her first visit to the border, she stated, “I will do more to secure our border, to reduce illegal border crossings.”
“I will take further action to keep the border closed between ports of entry,” she added.
While the details of her border strategy are unclear, the Biden-Harris administration has advocated for the implementation of more so-called “lawful pathways” that have expedited entries, thereby deterring foreign nationals from illegally crossing the border between ports of entry. While these additional pathways have reportedly reduced southern border encounters, they have not reduced the number of foreign nationals entering the country with little to no vetting.

On Thursday Chinese Communist Dictator Xi Jinping commanded troops to strengthen their preparedness for war while visiting his People’s Liberation Army Rocket Force following last week’s drills of surrounding the sovereign country of Taiwan.
“Xi said the military should ‘comprehensively strengthen training and preparation for war, (and) ensure troops have solid combat capabilities,’ CCTV reported,” according to the AFP and reported on Barrons Saturday.
Why would China need to prepare for war?
Needless to say, nobody is planning to attack China.
The truth is that the only reason that China would need to prepare for war is if it was planning to invade Taiwan.
Because the moment that China invades Taiwan, the U.S. and China will be at war.

On Monday, Beijing had deployed fighter jets, drones, warships and coast guard vessels to encircle Taiwan — its fourth round of large-scale war games around the democratic island in just over two years.
China’s communist leaders have insisted they will not rule out using force to bring Taiwan under Beijing’s control.
Meanwhile, western leaders continue to publicly discuss sending NATO troops to Ukraine.
The Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said in a statement to Politico on Monday that European Union countries should return to the idea of putting boots-on-the-ground in Ukraine to fight Russia.
The idea comes after French President Emmanuel Macron said in February that sending Western troops to Ukraine is not ‘ruled out’ for the future plans in war against Russia, according to the AP. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz shut down that plan for the time being however.
“If information about Russia’s killing squads being equipped with North Korean ammunition and military personnel is confirmed, we have to get back to ‘boots on the ground’ and other ideas proposed by [French President] Emmanuel Macron,” he said in written comments, Politico reported on Monday.
One of the reasons why this has came up again is because there are reports that soldiers from North Korea are being equipped and sent to fight for Russia on the front lines of eastern Ukraine…
North Korean soldiers have been filmed receiving uniforms and equipment at a training ground in Russia’s far east, appearing to confirm reports from South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) that 1,500 soldiers have been shipped over for military training to be deployed in Ukraine.
The North Korean troops are thought to be receiving training before being sent to the front line in Ukraine, in what is thought to be a clear sign of the ever-warming relations between Moscow and Pyongyang.
Both sides just continue to escalate matters.
It appears to be just a matter of time before we find ourselves in a direct conflict with the Russians, and that is a really, really bad idea.
North Korea has been making all sorts of noise lately. In addition to sending troops to fight in Ukraine, the North Koreans are also threatening to invade South Korea…
North Korea has said it had found the remnants of a South Korean military drone and that any further “violation” of its territory would result in a “declaration of war.”
Tensions between the two sides of the peninsula have escalated since May when the North began flying balloons carrying garbage across the border to the South, prompting Seoul to respond by restarting loudspeaker propaganda broadcasts.
This week, North Korea accused South Korea of flying drones over Pyongyang on three occasions this month and threatened to respond with force if it happened again.
The North Korean military is vastly superior to the South Korean military.
If North Korea invades, the only way that South Korea will survive is if we intervene.
But right now the U.S. military is focused on the Middle East, because that conflict could spiral completely out of control at any moment.

“We will strike several targets in the coming hours and additional targets throughout the night.
“In the coming days, we will reveal how Iran funds Hezbollah’s terror activities by using civilian institutions, associations, and NGOs that act as fronts for terrorism.”
And it certainly did not take long for that to start happening.

Israeli fighter jets struck dozens of targets in Beirut and other areas of southern Lebanon overnight, including branches of a bank accused of holding funds used by Hezbollah.
The military’s Arabic spokesman, Avichay Adraee, had earlier in the night issued several evacuation orders for buildings throughout southern Lebanon he said were in the vicinity of facilities belonging to the U.S.-sanctioned Al-Qard Al-Hassan Association Bank.

The US Army’s outgoing top commander in the Pacific region has warned that the US can “ill afford” another war because its military is vastly overstretched.
According to Defense One, Gen. Charles Flynn said that the US’ authoritarian rivals — Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea — had been placing increasing pressure on American military resources.
Speaking at the AUSA conference in Washington DC last week, Flynn described the technology and military alliances between the authoritarian states as a “very dangerous combination.”
The U.S. military is not the overwhelming global force that it once was.
While other major powers have been feverishly preparing to fight World War III, our military has been rapidly becoming a politically correct joke.

Unfortunately, everyone is probably aware by now that it was recently revealed that renowned Reformed pastor and theologian, Dr. Steven Lawson, had been involved in an “inappropriate relationship,” resulting in his removal from ministry.

Everything is ready for this Tuesday’s opening of the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia. For President Vladimir Putin will it will be an opportunity to personally engage with multiple world leaders, including China’s Xi Jinping, India’s Narendra Modi, Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iran’s Masoud Pezeshkian.
The multipolarity is on, and dedollarization is on everyone’s minds.

The alliance is representative of the ‘Global South’, and is a real threat to the world order instituted by the western powers after WW2.
Initially, the group was formed by Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – but lately it started to rapidly expand.
Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia joined in January; Turkey, Azerbaijan and Malaysia also formally applied, along with a rather large number of other countries who have expressed a desire to join.
Russia sees the meeting as a great success. 36 countries confirmed participation, and of those, more than 20 will send heads of state.
Putin will hold around 20 bilateral meetings in ‘the largest foreign policy event ever held on Russian soil’. How’s that for isolation?
For many participants, the Summit is a chance to amplify their voices and narratives.
“’The beauty of BRICS is that it doesn’t put too many obligations on you’, said Alexander Gabuyev, director of the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center. ‘There are not that many strings attached, really, to being part of BRICS. And at the same time, there might be interesting opportunities coming your way, including just having more face time with all of these leaders’.”
A new payment system project is on the works that wants to be an alternative to the global bank messaging network SWIFT, allowing countries to settle their transactions in national currencies.
“’The Russian idea is that if you create a platform where there is China, Russia, India and Brazil and Saudi Arabia, many countries that are vital partners for the U.S., the U.S. will not be ready to go after this platform and sanction it’,” Gabuyev said.”
Russia will also sign a ‘strategic partnership treaty’ with Iran.
Of course, the Putin and China’s Xi Jinping is the most anticipated.
“The summit will allow Xi and Putin to flaunt their close relationship. The two, who announced a ‘no-limits’ partnership weeks before Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, already have met at least twice this year, in Beijing in May and at a SCO summit in Kazakhstan in July.”
And, of course, there’s India.
An expected Modi-Putin meeting could see some rebalancing of their time-tested ties.
“’India can’t simply abandon Russia because of its deep defense ties, the question of the regional balance of power, and the logic of multi-alignment’, said Raja Mohan, a professor at the Institute of South Asian Studies in Singapore. ‘At the same time, it also builds and develops its relations with the U.S. and the West because that is where the logic of India’s major economic development and technological growth depends on partnership’.”
It is often understood that India and Brazil view BRICS primarily as an economic forum, while China and Russia see it more as a geopolitical group.
Another key participant this year is Turkey, a NATO member and European Union candidate which has ALSO applied to join the BRICS group.
